general Mario universe headcannons that have been floating in my head:

The Koopa Kingdom/Darklands/Bowsers area has the best medicine and care out of all the kingdoms. The high amount of army members, tough terrain and the constant heat leads to them having to be the best.

Sarasaland has second best medical care due to its hot weather

Power ups such as fire/ice flowers and the Tanooki leaf cant be harvested as they have immediate effects. People have gotten around this though by using magic instead of traditional ways of harvesting.

The Mushroom kingdom actually doesn't have much going on. It's a very beautiful place but it doesn't have the richest history as its a fairly new kingdom compared to all the other place.

But this lack of history creates amazing places for present and future to really shine. stadiums, education, art and fashion etc. are some of the best compared to other kingdoms

King Boo is the only boo to have kept their personality through death. Boos are amalgamations of tricksters and high concentration of spiritual activity and aren't like their former selves.

For example if Luigi dies it would be normal because he doesn't take joy from tricking people. But if someone like Wario died he would also be normal because he hasn't been around enough spiritual activity. E.Gadd on the other hand....

and that's all the headcannons I have for now about the Mario universe! As always let me know what you guys think and have a good week

A funny little ditty for ya:

Jim having a breakdown mid fight and going fuckin feral on his opponent, then proceeding to rapidly crash into a shivering, crying mess in any dark spot he can find.

This wouldn't be with anyone either, this would be with someone who he's scared of, has no idea how to fight, or has absolutely no chance of defeating to defend his friends from them and can't get away from them.

Like while trapped in the Darklands, he goes through a lot of shit, this poor kid is battered seven ways from Sunday. If he didn't have the Eclipse armor due to some miscalculation, some error, something going wrong and he's left stranded, he's trapped with Gunmar the Black in the Darklands, alone with no-one to turn to and no way to escape save for hoping to hell and back his friends care enough to help him try and escape.

All the while he's evading the corrupted heartstone warlord, running from the corrupted soldiers, and if Bular fully managed to escape into the Darklands before the bridge was destroyed he would want to personally eat Jim.

It's no wonder why he'd fight like an animal to get far enough away to silently lose his shit, especially with running on barely any food and no sleep.

Somepoint after claire was first corrupted by morgana and had a cold, probably before the bad coffee episode she told jim that "she can survive a cold because she's survived the darklands" in a summarisation

Claire are you serious? You said that to a person who has spent two plus weeks in the darklands and was forced to fight gunmar and be tortured for the most part of it

My rendition of Skarlagk the Scorned

Orlagk's daughter and the leader of the Gumm-Gumm resistance. She appears in the book "Welcome to the Darklands".

Heavily inspired by her father Orlagk

And because trolls do not have nipples therefore no mammaries, I do not care to add tits to my female troll designs. (Plus there's female trolls in the show that do not have them.) The "boobs" are most likely just fat reserves.

And just like her father, this bitch is LARGE. There were a moment in the book where Skarlagk wanted to "crush Gunmar with her powerful arms".. So safe to say this woman can throw hands with Gunmar pretty evenly.

Another week means another storyboard sequence and this one is by Natasha Presler-Wicke for the episode, Escape from the Darklands! Due to paranoia of deletion and instagram being one of those sites people flatly ignore when it comes to storyboard reposting I've got and screenshot both uploads for your enjoyment. Very little of her work is available online and this one alone was hard to track down way back when.

The brink of home

This is sad/angsty (not as much as the tragedy of Romeo I would say? Because there is no jlaire angst) viewer discretion is advised anyway. Also this scene is changed a little bit, left out scenes and stuff

The killahead bridge falls to the floor with a mighty rumble, jim falls down to his knees

He was right there, right. fucking. there

He passed Enrique over and the bridge collapsed with him on the other side forever

Jim sighs painfully as heavy stone hands pin him to the rough floor, and bites down screams as they push his struggling body down skullcrushingly hard

A glance upward reveals a half-familiar face chuckling at him

He was like Blinky?

Before he could even process what happens next Jim gets drageed away by the chains tangling around his foot.

He wakes up in a cell with a deep welled feeling of nothing, not even fathoming how or when he was knocked out.

The only greeting he got was the bellowing laugh of nomura and the fading stomp of gumm gumm feet.

Why nomura was even here was beyond jim

"well played trollhunter, well played..... but no one ever makes it out of this place" a sad knowing sigh escapes nomura

"welcome to the rest of your life"

The devastation from before hits Jim full force causing tears to roll down his stone cold face

And a dimension away, tobias domsalzki screams
