I really was waiting for him to say gallifrey in that scene when he was listing off all the planets coming back to life. and oh maybe it was just undoing the planets sutekh killed BUT he said calufrax. the doctor only landed on calufrax after it was destroyed by the pirate planet, plus it wasn't even real, the whole planet was a segment of the key to time.

and I understand that sometimes you just have to say fun douglas adams words for no reason, I respect that. but if calufrax could unshrink from the size of a tennis ball gallifrey could come back too.

I know it won't happen bc it was just reversing the destruction Sutekh did but for a moment I did consider if the Doctor was bring death to death everywhere then perhaps they went to Gallifrey too

Mentor is Shan.

This is my concrete solid headcanon. She’s a fucked up version of Shan, traumatised by her best friend throwing her in prison (hell knows what kaleds do to people in captivity) and condemning her to death. In Mentor’s home universe Shan has somehow escaped (or maybe she found out about Davros’ plan in advance?) and turned the tables on Davros gaining social power over him. Tho I’m not sure if she’d too try to murder him in this case.. However, she had used his work to build a well protected and well armed casings for daleks but dalek mutants inside were more aligned with her vision.

Having experienced great injustice she became obsessed with order and justice. And since it was her vulnerability which put her in danger she made sure to always remain in control, in the position of power. In her sick mind the war became the root for all people’s problems so she put her daleks on service to "the total peace" teaching and raising them accordingly.

It all makes perfect sense for a fictional character development! It’s like someone’s au came true (kinda)

For 'Journey's End', Nicholas Briggs was posed with a very particular challenge.

"I had to give each Dalek its own voice, so they had their own rank and identity. Which was rather daunting."

"How do you give a unique voice to something that has no emotion?! I wanted to be able to tell them apart, but how do you do that?"

While the Supreme Dalek was relatively simple, "because he has to sound authoritative and arrogant", he added subtle differences to the rest "that I hope someone actually noticed "
