Carl Palmer edita la colección de 3 CDs + Blu-ray, "Fanfare For the Common Man" (5 de abril, BMG) con música e imágenes de su extensa carrera musical: The Crazy World of Arthur Brown, Atomic Rooster, Emerson Lake & Palmer, Asia, Carl Palmer Band, ELP Legacy, etc, etc... Pero antes de todo eso sacó un único single con el grupo The Craig, la fantástica, explosiva, "I Must Be Mad" (Fontana 1966) como cara A. Palmer por entonces sólo tenía 16 años. El single completo viene en la caja triple retrospectiva.

Craig era una banda de rhythm & blues de Birmingham conocida antes como The King Bees. Estaban liderados por Geoff Brown (> Galliard > Muscles) y fueron apadrinados por Larry Page, mánager de los Kinks y los Troggs, que les produjo al menos su primer single (Fontana 1966). Su recia y seca versión de "A Little Bit Of Soul" de The Jarmels ya anunciaba las cosas por venir.
