#iasip#it's always sunny in philadelphia#dennis reynolds#charlie kelly#charden#dennis looks....... positively lovestruck#ada's gifs#ada speaks#the continuity errors between shots in these scenes is so funny to me but i only noticed bc ive spent two hours on this gifset#anyway. in my expert opinion#this is far from the first time den's come to charlie like this#i can see this happening frequently in high school especially considering their drug of choice here is inhalants#x2 when know how charlie's relationship with them was in hs#the fact that dennis leaves his room to 'be alone' and then goes to paddy's to get high with charlie#to me indicates he doesn't *want* to be alone with his thoughts like this#when he's already overthinking and self conscious#i think contrasting this scene w mac & dee barging into his room earlier is interesting#because while mac & dee reacted with immediate disgust and asked what the fuck happened to his face#charlie's just like why is your face shiny. then repeatedly makes it clear he doesnt care about anything beyond the basics#ok cool. chemical peel caused it. no i don't want to hear why you decided to get one.#and honestly i think dennis was counting on that reaction. charlie doesn't give a shit. he's down to hang out and he doesn't ask questions.#they both want an immediate out from the pressure they both feel and most definitely do Not want to talk about it <3#stuff it down with some.......... turpentine

IT'S JUST SO...!! savior's wardrobe scrubbed clean of her original culture and preferences#replaced with the foreign garments of her captor's nations.....in line with this. i love how her kokoshnik and khaenri'ahn earrings are big#and attention-grabbing. you can't look at her without taking note of those accessories. it begs the question:: how many times has savior#looked at the mirror after being dressed up in snezhnaya and was unable to recognize her own reflection?? :'>#also shoutout to some details aine shared with me: 1) the face marks are inspired by weeping angels 2) the kokoshnik was traditionally worn#by married noblewomen BUT the veil was normally for unmarried women so savior's outfit can be seen as a form of compliance + rebellion#(though later on in history it became accepted for married women to also wear that veil. also my apologies if what i said is inaccurate)#lastly shoutout to savior's expression!! very poised and mysterious....due to her emotional state or pierro's rules on how to act as his#spouse in public?? we'll never know~ the first drawing hits even harder when you compare it to the next one!! such an interesting contrast~#savior in her plain attire. casual and domestic with a smile on her face....i'm guessing this is her pre-fatui version?? she looks so warm#and friendly. and i can definitely understand why pierro fell for her smile <3#also i fucking love the caption. sorry pierro but you are cursed to be a loser/ simp/ pathetic man in all of my fics and AUs xD#NOW ONTO GODDESS! like i see people say stuff like “rei is a deconstruction of the idea of like the perfect girl in a male gaze-y way” and and i'm ready to agree until they go “it’s because she’s creepy and weird and bad!” like no. rei's a deconstruction of misogynistic ideas of womanhood because they’re ideals forced upon her that damage her, not because she’s in any way “creepy”. like, the fact she’s a fourteen year old girl who was basically used as a substitute wife by her father bc she looked like his own dead wife is not something that is meant to make rei look bad like holy shit.
like both rei and asuka are very obviously like. showing fantasised and misogynistic ideas of an idealised woman don’t work irl yeah. shinji's misogynistic view of them is wrong. but that’s not because rei and asuka are bad people it’s because like. “fourteen year old who's flirty and seductive” and “fourteen year old who's a quiet obedient object” are major signs of abuse and trauma and anyone actually acting in those ways at that age clearly isn’t normal. asuka is desperate for attention in any way she can get it, even unhealthy and dangerous ways. rei is at the very least I has a weird pseudo-incestous enmeshment filled abusive relationship with her father, even if she's not actively being sexually abused. asuka is seeking support, rei is a grooming victim. these are not things that are flaws in their character the entire point of subverting the expectations is to show how those expectations are unhealthy to rei and asuka like. god.

I love that Murph fully set the scene for doing an Autopsy in a meat freezer and then bailed at the last second as he realized he really didnt want to narrate that level of gore/viscera (props to him for knowing where he wanted his boundaries for sure.) But then he let Caldwell improvize a rune that TURNED THE DEAD GUYS SKIN TRANSPARENT SO THEY COULD SEE HIS INNARDS like yes we did skip the viscera but thats still such horrific imagery
Contrasted with the cuts between this and Henry’s boxing match? Chefs kiss. Eldermourne is the best I love it here.

brain bad but im listening to the narzissenkreuz questline ost and. man i want to play the quests again and i WOULD but i have such a hard time reading non-voiced world quests which SUCKS bc this quest series like. the fucking best and i would argue better than some of the archon quests
#yappin#everyone shits on the inazuma quests bc rightfully so there was so much potential w/ the civil war that just went right down the drain#ngl kazuha was the only Good thing i feel#and hot take but i dont think that sumeru AQs were that great#like the individual characters are good and fine but theres a pretty big disconnect with the characters & their motivations in the quest#i feel the characters were just roles to be filled for a coup and they could have used any character to achieve the same story outcome#as funny as it is that al haitham only got involved bc his cushy office job was in danger is funny and all#but i feel like only nilou and maybe cyno were the only ones to have personal reasons to be part of the coup#they should have let candace in on the action bc she DID have reason to be involved#seeing has how the akademiya were kidnapping the insane scholars that THEY dumped onto aaru village to take care of#ive gone on and on abt how good the fontaine AQs are like theres a lot of weird plot holes and weird decisions#especially abt the way government works + meropide#but the contrast of the character driven arcs vs the actual plot/action/lore was done so fucking good#there were reason for me to be invested in navia/the twins/neuvillette/furina bc we werent just TOLD their stories#but there with them taking an active role during their character arcs#so being already invested in characters going into the plot/lore just made it so much more enjoyable#but anyways narzissenkreuz sweep#fool in fontaine
