sometimes I think about Ratio gifting Aventurine a weighted blanket, specifically to help with nightmares. it’s not as helpful as having another person there, but it’s not as if there’s many people Aventurine trusts enough to share a bed (currently the list only includes Topaz and Ratio)

Maybe this is because im a professional theater artist but i do think its really funny that daniel acts like armand being the director of the trial is such a slam dunk and means he was responsible for the whole thing. Girl director is just a job. Directors aren't dictators they're just in charge of the visual language of the piece. If theyre gonna kill his boyfriend on his stage hes gonna make sure the blocking isnt ass. Hes a professional.

Walter Bob ending up being the heart of the story and the conclusion was great storytelling. Not only was he not incidental, but he was integral and the point. They had to trust that Tazercraft and the audience would care enough about Walter to want him to escape and that was a safe bet considering how organically the players have grown to like him. Especially with Mike having been the one to give him his new appearance. I wasn’t expecting him to be so important but it seems inevitable in retrospect. Well done.

I very much do want to see the betrayer gods again because they are some hilariously petty bitches who would definitely try and pull some absolute bullshit, but also I will Never be able to picture Lolth the Spider Queen or Asmodeus the Lord of the Hells, in mannerism, in voice, or in appearance, as ANYTHING other than Aabria Iyengar and Brennan Lee Mulligan. they did it too good and now it's Them Forever

I agree that it's different that these companions are too friendly from another from the start but a) it's not weird or bad to have written characters that are just willing to cooperate and work together, especially when we're a close tight knit group and b) sure, while some more interpersonal conflict would be nice at times, the fandom has been clamoring for companions who are actually friends with each other for 15 years??? Like the complaints about DA2 and DAI are always like "why do these people hate each other after seven years?"/"the Inquisition's inner circle feel like coworkers" and those are of course valid complaints and yes, there's a balance between everyone being friends and people hating each other but this is also kind of what the fandom asked for. People still say to this day that DA2 is a found family game, now we have a found family game. Turns out everyone hates it.
