The meeting was in chaos. The separatists had launched an attack on Coruscant.. the senators that were having a meeting in one of the small office buildings was under attack.

“Cyare!!”

You heard fox’s voice clear as day. You walked through the smoke to his voice. You felt his hands grab yours and pull you from the wreckage.

“Come on! We aren’t out if the woods yet. More droids are coming”

You nodded and he led you along the streets still hand in hand.

“Fox what about the other senators?”

“At lest one is dead and other troopers have gotten the rest to safety.. you’re my top priority right now”

You were still a little woozy from the initial attack.. you had a good sized cut on your arm.

“Fox I can’t see straight.. I think I hit my head when I fell.”

“It’s alright.. just take it easy.”

He took ahold of both your arms and helped keep you steady. You felt tears coming down your cheeks. Fox took off his helmet and let it drop to you the ground.

“Mesh’la. Don’t cry.. you’re safe with me. I won’t let anything happen to you..”

“.. you. You rescued me..”

“Of course I did..”

He put his hands on your cheeks.

“I would protect you with my life”

You pulled him close and cuddled into his chest.. he could be stern and rude, but at times like this he was gentle and kind.

“Come on.. we need to get you back to your apartment.”

“Will you be there with me?”

“Always cyare”
