ITS ALMOST IN THE FIVE IN THE MORNING.#ive been thinking so much about how cobs n 3gs' relationship might've been #i think that all the mephone models had a slightly different dynamic with cobs . he kept different methods of teaching if you will #imagined cobs took a more authoritarian approach with 3gs . 3gs saw him as a leader whom to take commands from #obviously this reflected onto him and I guess at some point cobs deemed him fit enough to go on missions in space #3gs would be so proud to lead a team of his own . especially an investigation that was so clearly important to cobs #and then theres the total failure. he came home with nothing and (presumably) everyone dead #(ok im under the very stupid and unplausible belief that 3gs DID get the other egg. and thats where cobs got the technology to make melife #teleportation and portal creation to work on his creations BUT I DONT WANNA GET INTO IT THATS A WHOLE OTHER CAN OF WORMS)#3gs ends up abandoned in a storage closet . whatever defects and errors that 3gs developed after the shimmer incident must've left him +#useless to cobs . whom didn't even bother properly powering him down at least. ok man.#after 4 i assume the cycle rinses and repeats itself with every single model coming after #im sso sleepy #holy SHIT that was a lot. sorry #i love making shit up about minor characters man #sorry #bonks thinkpan #inanimate insanity #I guess

I may be failing my plan to not make any isat aus. So there's this guy her name is Euphrasie right. What if I took her and combined what could be 3 separate au concepts into one. And in the process forced myself to go back and reread a bunch of shit to make sure I know how to maximally fuck over this sad wet puppy of a woman

I don't remember but erm #stars posting #anyways dont count on me committing to this au too hard since Im mostly eternal gales brained rn but I am rotating ideas in my head #shes always interested me deeply as what am I if not a sucker for women who are mostly silhouettes of a character #I was mostly just thinking abt other ppls aus where she is also looping and was thinking abt how fucked it be for her in general but also #how much more fucked it would be for her if it was Only her looping #because as far as she would know theres straight up nothing that can be done to fix this and shed be stuck in a hell of what shed be sure #is her own creation #and then I thought to myself. what if she then accidentally did a loop while trying to fix it #and then my brain also said but what if loop was also there #so I did some mental gymnastics to ignore the possible problems and decided to take an extra spin on it and just sorta add her to the main #party by having her have basically wished to be able to help them defeat the king to make things right and her getting dropped earlier #on in the adventure so I can fuck around with potential character dymamics more (cough cough siffrin)#and for the actual loops I think it'd be funny if she could remember just like loop but was fully convinced that she was looping alone #so itd be siffrin and her acting at eachother trying to hide their seperate breakdowns while meamwhile loop is just staring at her with a #whole heap of mixed emotions but mostly the confusion of who the fuck is this guy???????#and sif is just like yeah thats secret. shes a powerful craft user who's craft experiments backfired and fucked up her body. duh.#and loop just Knows that thats not true but they have no real way to bring it up properly without drawing too much suspicious #oh yeah and Im calling her secret for now. in my minds eye shes like constantly putting on different fronts in hopes that one of them will #stick but shes been able to get away with it by playing up her belief in change to a cartoonish degree #shes really trying to be strong and not raise suspicion since she does want mirabelle to be able to learn and grow from this just the same #as her own mirabelle before and just wants to be able to fix the broken wish by being there to defeat the king herself #which she had already convinced herself was the reason the wish broke since she was the one stuck remembering #I should reword it to that probably because saying shes the one looping isnt Wrong but asside from sif not remembering it still entirely #revolved around him she was just the one forced to deal with it without any real way of learning how to fix it #and while she never figured out the entirety of the sif stuff it was always him taking to her that reset the loop #so she has. complicated feelings on him. she doesn't want to be avoidant or distant or to dislike him! and as time goes on she does grow to #like him a lot! but its just. hard to look him in the eye sometimes.#and then theres the horrors of the actual main game starting and the slow but horrifying realization of how badly she fucked up

dystopian mikavanni au

Of course, since it’s dystopian it’s set way in the future, in America obviously, and maybe an international war is going on somewhere too. The government is hella powerful and corrupt. Autocracy maybe. The common person is suffering while the rich dgaf and thrive bc thats what they do

The characters! How can it be dystopian without a little bit of hecked up science? Mikami was genetically made to be the perfect agent for the government. He’s strictly based on logic and reasoning, doesn’t care if he has to choose the most fucked up choice and follows every order. He doesn’t feel emotions the way a normal person does, he can only mimic them. Since he was “created” by science he’s special, basically. He can run a little faster, more durable, blah blah.

However!! He’s the first one to ever be made like this, thus there are a lot of flaws in between the lines. A rushed prototype is what you’d call him.

Gevanni time! Steal from the rich and give to the poor kinda guy. He follows his own beliefs, a mix of using the head and the heart, and tries to avoid pointless violence. He’s in a group that conspires to take down the government and replace the elector. Bringing back democracy!! Because he’s a true American and hates how the country is now. But if anything, he just wants to live a quiet life.

Mikami is assigned to go undercover and infiltrate the group. There, he meets Gevanni and a few other people who share the same cause. In order to gain their trust, he kinda has to kill a few of the people he had worked for. Whoops..

The more he starts hanging out with them, he starts acting more “human.” And it terrifies him. He starts getting curious about his life before becoming an agent and wonders if there is anything more to life—and maybe there is, because a certain black haired blue eyed guy triggers these weird feelings inside of him.

One dayy, Mikami discovers that there was another experiment before him. A prototype who also had enhanced abilities. A prototype that did the dirty work behind the scenes but could somewhat feel emotions, not just mimic. A prototype that could regenerate missing limbs and heal instantaneously from bullet wounds!

And that prototype was Gevanni, who had realized that his fate was to be experimented on for the rest of his life. He escaped after witnessing such terrible things firsthand, and joined the group in order to put a stop to all of this.

After that discover, Mikami feels himself going rogue. Betraying what he was made for, feeling more and more emotions by the hour. He loves Gevanni and he absolutely hates it. Gevanni drills it into his head that if he returns to the government after completing his mission, he would get scrapped. Aka: experimented and tortured in order to develop the next prototype.

Mikami has a choice: either to complete his mission, or choose the man he loves.

Include some more characters, maybe a love triangle, and this is like a certified dystopian fanfic!!!

i hate how difficult making massive projects is when it comes to art i am having the GREATEST idea for a video game but the only way it can come to actualization the way it needs to be to make it work is if i could get it picked up by a triple A studio

#its a third-person post-apocalyptic urban(?) fantasy digital!eldritch horror that #doubles as a cosmic horror in that certain characters *understand that they are in a video game*#with a DELICIOUS twist at the end and all these different stories lining up #and a very specific way where you can have multiple saves of different characters - skyrim style -#and different choices you make and the way they impact the narrative from there on out -#literally bleeds across game files. the crux of the plot is that the 'code' of the universe is corrupted and falling apart and #there are all these glitches and if a character gets 'corrupted' - different versions of them from other game files will #merge with them sort of and they react to the player based on what decisions they made involving that character in a different save #AND THERES A WHOLE PLOT WITH THESE TWO PRIMORDIAL BEINGS AND THEIR BATTLE AS OLD AS TIME (THE GAME ITSELF)#AND HOW ONE OF THEM KEEPS RESETTING THE GAME EVERY TIME THEY GET CLOSE TO LOSING #SO EVERYONE'S MEMORY IS WIPED #AND ITS WHY NO ONE KNOWS HOW THEY GOT TO THIS WORLD OR WHY THEY HAVE CERTAIN ABILITIES/ETC #and theres magic but its like shitty unbalanced magic where people can sort of casually fuck around with time loops and vortexes and #give themselves cool body modifications like horns or wings or something (like character creation!!!)#I JUST. sooooo in my feelings, inside baseball type shit about new mm turtle show annoucement (oh yeah. just the show itself? been there. 5 stages of grief about it. justice for rise etcetc). cause collectively. the show runners have collectively worked on.... 3 of the 4 turtle cartoon shows (i assume getting someone still in the biz from 87 would be a bit harder lol).

and. like. okay... they are both EXTRORDINARILY accomplished, aside from their turtle priors obviously making them. lol. qualified i guess. I'd say watch the official animations, read the comics, peruse the game update pages on the official site cuz they of course hold some good shit (you can get to most of these by reading the side comics if i remember correctly, at the end it'll show a button that takes you to the update page for that particular comic)

Besides these, i don't know of any other canonical lore sources (for more canon info, maybe watch videos that explain the full background of the characters, they'll include tidbits that the previous sources dont).

After these, from my experience, it's just all fan content, of which there is an ungodly amount (game came out in like 2007 so you'll never get left with nothing). They inform you about the community more, while also fulfilling your blorbo needs.

#for the official animations just go to valves yt page #but theres also an official yt page just for tf2 i think that has quite a bit of good stuff too #and in regards to the fan creations #my queue here #is up to 260 #all tf2 #i have 10 blogs bookmarked that i want to feast my eyes upon #this community holds so much content (dislike using that word for creations but idk of any other catch all terms)#which shows the genuine love that they hold for these characters #and its really fun and heartwarming to see that #cuz you really can notice it in all the art and animations and fics and all that #it certainly does Not Help that the majority of it all is So Damn Good as well????#didn't mean for this to turn to a tf2 appreciation post but oh well #asks

daggerfall is so hard and for what

#i guess my gamer soul is just weak?#i cant swing a sword properly?#i cant fucking see shit?#first time i played I got my ass kicked by a rat? the first enemy?#ohhh god i hope its just a learning curve and not the whole game #i cannot believe this only came out two years before bg1 #JUST ONE YEAR BEFORE FALLOUT? MY FAVORITE GAME?#ough fallout 1 is so good #i still cant get through 2 though :/#1 was better imo because it knew where to stop #like the main quest was short and simple enough while having depth and some good revelations #the side quests were mostly clear and concise and there wasnt too much of them #it was a good game and it knew how long it wanted to be and that was the perfect lenght absolutely imo #well sure it had some flaws. but i love it a lot so for now im blinded to them #the master was such a good antagonist and his actions made so much sense #fallout 2 is.... okay. its a game. its just different enough that im not fully into it #theres just so much shit to do and i dont want to leave things unfinished and i dont like to be underleveled #but the shit is just always so long and tiring and doesnt really know where to stop #quests i liked: most of the broken hills oned. SOME of the gecko stuff #navarro was kind of boring. a lot of places are just a slog to get through #and i guess i could just skip it but well. i really don't want to be underleveled! youre supposed to do SOME stuff #uh whatever. its an okay game #just a step down #back to daggerfall. the first person pov is really difficult for me to get through #and all the other oldish games i like are isometric viewed #character creation is rly difficult #which can be fun i think. i like to just roll a bunch of stats in bg1 sometimes #ive found a guide and i guess ill restart the game completely to have it easier #i really want to play some more but. idk #maybe i should stick to easier / newer games

seeing the series spawn a bunch of au versions of its most popular character that are all kinda ehhhhh and now a personality swap is getting popular where one of the two siblings is made all cutesy but not retaining any of his other traits-- shouldnt a personality swap still mean they keep their general interests--?

Our campaign is very much one where the threat of death is looming, so I have the bones of a character in the works in case I need to scramble together another one. I have to keep myself from coming up with too many ideas for him, but Dionysian Nightmare is supposed to be his band :]!

As long as Eddie is alive (which is hopefully the whole campaign o7) the band will just be a fun easter egg. However, if he does die, I will go full Band Development mode. It will be fun and sad. If the extra doesn't get used, I'll still probably recycle him for another campaign or release him from dnd and just have him as a standard OC
