I need an AU where Cassandra and Charles grew up together so bad.

like at the little scene in the beginning of first class, maybe it’s Cassandra who finds raven? Or both of them? Charles could still do the little mind trick thing, Cassandra could have the baseball bat (she seems more feral than Charles lmao)

she and raven grow up simultaneously torturing and protecting Charles (in a sibling way ofc, not like an actually bad way like his parents lol)

Cassandra’s super smart too, she and Charles both go to Oxford together and bring raven with them.

Cassandra and raven both ruin the thing he has with the heterochromia girl in the beginning of first class, because they think it would be fucking hilarious and because they’re both annoyed about the “mutant and proud” thing.

Cassandra kind of becomes the figure Erik was to raven (without the kissing because um DUH sisters) leading to her being still connected to the family (because they’re twins, even though they have a healthy rivalry, Cassandra is always going to stand with Charles, and subsequently raven will always stand with her, making them a closer family unit and keeping raven on the X-men’s side because this is made up and I can do whatever I want)

Hank builds two ports in cerebro, one for each twin. Cassandra and raven go on their own road trip, Charles and Erik go on the usual one (because both Cassandra and raven are calling Charles on his liking Erik shit. I don’t care that it’s the 1960s, thank you very much, this is made up. They totally have some sort of affair in this universe, and everyone knows. Cherik thinks they’re very good at being sneaky.)

Charles, Erik, and Cassandra all become really good friends. In all reality, Cassandra and Erik have more similar views to each other than to Charles, so they gang up on him sometimes. Other times the twins gang up on Erik for fun.

the kids are either totally afraid of Cassandra or they absolutely love her. No in between.

buuuut all good things come to an end. Beach divorce like usual, Cassandra basically has it OUT for Erik after that. She and Hank and raven (she’s still here!!!) keep the school afloat even after Charles gets all dofp. (Basically she and raven are the ✨successful ones✨ in the family.) (Also Cassandra totally named the X men. She was like “I’m Cassandra Xavier, their sponsor, so my initial gets to be there. Oh, I guess it counts for you too, Charles.”)

I want old Cassandra to be at the start of dofp too!! She’s enraged about raven’s death (I kinda think she still would’ve gone after trask even if she’d stayed on good terms with Charles. Erik’s just off being emo and doing his own thing (and we all know how that worked out lmao. Got in jail.)), and OUT FOR REVENGE. She soooooo wanted to be the one to go back, if only so she could properly fuck up trask and torture him and Charles is like “Cassandra please no we can’t make this WORSE” and kitty’s just like “umm sorry we actually have to send Logan anyways 😅”

old Cassandra still totally hates Erik. They yell at each other a lot. Charles makes an attempt to mediate but usually ends up arguing with one (or both) of them.

back in the past, Logan shows up at the school and Cassandra reads his mind right away because SOMEONE still has their powers unlike Charles, and she’s like no, nope, I’m not getting Erik. And Logan’s like well let’s at least go get raven back, an even though Cassandra was like kind of on board with murdering him she still goes and finds raven, who’s a lot easier to get back in this AU because she actually gets along with Cassandra. I think Erik still gets out somehow during the course of this movie, and ends up back at the mansion after pretty much begging to come back because he’s realized his plans are shit or something (maybe because he doesn’t have ravens help). Anyways. Big happy ending. Cue credits

….honestly we might not need the dofp bit, but I do really want to see old Cassandra, Erik, and Charles.
