#fave spotting #gareth thomas #roj blake #blakes 7 #blake's 7 #public eye #the bankrupt #classic tv #1972 #thames #gratified to find that I'm not losing my mind and GT does return playing (surely) the same character even if it took longer to get there #than I'd recalled. i mean i suppose there could be two car hire services in Eton‚ run by identical twins with different surnames.. but i #think it's safe to assume this is intended to be the same character Gareth played back in 5.9‚ with the production team presumably having #forgotten what they named the character (or that they named him at all‚ i don't think the name is used onscreen)#his relationship with Marker is much friendlier here than it seemed in 5.9 but i think that could be easily explained simply by the two #having got to know each other a little better; Frank was already established as a recurring customer in the previous appearance so #a certain amount of familiarity between them after another year is only natural (and it has presumably been a year; i always get the #feeling with PE that it's intended to have unfolded in 'real time'‚ ie. the series don't pick up immediately after one another but with a #gap roughly the same as the amount of time the show was off air between series)#this is a solid series opener‚ a fairly small story of financial skullduggery that Frank has to untangle‚ naturally without any reward for #himself. even his work on behalf of GT is pro bono‚ fairly unusual and suggesting that perhaps there is some genuine friendship between the #two and not just the surface level cordiality of two men whose work often throws them together. still‚ Frank's on spiky form #particularly once the case starts to frustrate him; this is a spiky series‚ actually‚ and the character has arguably begun a shift into #something approaching short tempered grouchiness... he's still Frank tho‚ bless him

if team sonic racing was based they would have let cream keep her spot on team rose let the actual team chaotix show up so silver and blaze can team up with marine or maybe even elise instead of vector and they would also somehow predict sage's existence a few years in advance and have her take zavok's spot on team eggman

#i know sega is made up of a bunch of cowards though so i would also settle for the car full of chao being put on silver and blaze's team #although that doesnt really fit the one of each type per team setup...#but it would also probably be possible to shuffle the types around a bit in a way thats still believable #if im remembering correctly blaze is a speed type and silver is a technique type in team sonic racing #but in sonic runners they were a power type and a speed type respectively #and a chao could be anythign you want them to be due to the nature of chao #so its not a big deal #i think mephiles would also be a funny option as the third member of blaze and silvers team #but that wouldnt really make sense considering hes gone and they dont have a good excuse to bring him back like they did in sxsg #for the record i dont hate team sonic racing i just think some of the character choices they made were weird

oh my goshh im only now realizing just how awesome the Call of the Abyss events are rnn 😭😭

#to reiterate; call of the abyss (coa) is those global Team competitions in id.v where ppl can form teams to earn points #u can actually win real money if ure that good but that's not my point here #what i love abt the coa stuff is the way themes of each coa event. an aesthetic theme or design for every annual coa #i remember my first coa was the steampunk theme and i even got helena's dress from the gacha hehe #everyone's really hyped abt the new coa and its happening! the theme feels very post apocalyptic with lots of plants #studio ghibli laputa kinda feeling #i think the first coa was pirate themed....#every year the coa themes will have 4 survs and 1 hunter kinda acting like the mascot for that theme #norton's was years ago but im slowly growing to appreciate it... his theme is something like that of a retro car race with some steampunk #and instead of a fire burn on his face - he has tire/car wheel markings on his face as if his face rolled into a wheel once #it looks so badass on him ngl #my only issue is that they made him blonde omg what did u do /silly #I ALREADY MESSED MY GRAMMAR HERE SORRY IM ON MOBILE I CANT WDIT #EDIT
