I started drawing the Ever After High girls in random historical fashion eras… why? I have no idea

Raven Queen in 1890s, Apple White in Italian Renaissance.

Briar Beauty in 1920s, Madeline Hatter in 1880s

No particularly reason for the eras, just the vibe I get from the characters and their designs!

I was thinking about the wheeler arc and how twilight was unable to kill yuri because he knows it would break yor. and then i thought that if yuri was the one to find out who twilight was first, it would probably be the same situation but reversed.

Chapter 5! Finding the labyrinth didn’t wind up being so hard, like many other fantastical doors in the walls of Ever After High, the door stood in an empty forgotten hallway. The girls wound up wandering the maze for hours, and as they got more and more tired they slowly lost confidence until finally they found a door…

No voting this time around as it’s the end of Part 1! I’m out on vacation right now so art will be a bit slower going! Stay tuned for the beginning of Part 2 though! 💘💞

The way Raven is the one to assume Briar doesn’t want to follow her destiny because she would miss out on parties is so interesting. She’s the one who should understand more than anyone why Briar wants to avoid her destiny. But she doesn’t. Imagine being Briar and realizing that perhaps the biggest rebel there is doesn’t take your destiny seriously. Doesn’t take you seriously.

i feel so bad for briar. she has a horrible destiny that everyone around her treats like a joke. could you imagine having to sleep for 100 years and all of your friends treating it likes it’s no big deal ?? like in thronecoming where briar says “i don’t want to sleep for 100 years” and ravens only response being “well you are going to miss out on all the great parties” and in way too wonderland where briar says “this’ll take 100 years” and maddie says “well you can just sleep through it” and even in spring unsprung when briar just expresses a simple joy for riding the ferris wheel and holly makes a joke out of it by saying “briar you love anything exciting because…yknow” and proceeds to fake snore and it’s so frustrating to watch because briar is visible uncomfortable and sad in all of these scenes !! briar is so heartbroken about spending the rest of her life without her friends and yet all her friends seem completely okay with spending the rest of theirs without her.
