X-Men Origins Rewrite
Ok I guess this is a follow up to this post i made not too long ago abt rewriting this shit, the brainworms rlly got to me here so you’re getting a follow up sooner than expected lol
Before I actually do any rewriting though I wanted to lay out the big changes I’d be making and why, mainly for myself as a guide and to organize my thoughts both about the original film’s issues and how these changes could potentially solve them, but also to allow anyone else with some ideas for possible changes to add their own thoughts or suggestions by engaging with the post.
As for what kind of final product you could possibly expect these ideas to result in, i haven’t quite decided if I want to just do an in depth outline for the story with my proposed changes or do like a full length fic novelization. It’ll probably depend on how motivated I still feel about the exercise by the time I’m finished and happy with the cleaned up outline, but I digress. Lets just go ahead and get into the changes I want to make:
Proposed Changes:
First off, I’m removing Blob and Gambit from this cut. I like both of the characters and think it’s cool they tried to include them but the cast is crammed enough as it is and those two serve very little narrative purpose that can’t be shifted to others just as easily.
Second, I’m adding Silverfox to Team X and letting that serve as the meeting point for her and Logan, it gives the audience more time to get to know her and come to care for her and Logan’s relationship, while also harkening back to the comics where she was also a part of the weapon x program. Also I know this isn’t a real film but let it be known that if it were i’d actually hire a Native American actress to portray her, i’m still shitty they whitewashed her.
Third, I’m removing the third act “Silverfox wasn’t really dead” twist. I really shouldn’t have to explain why, that shit was dumb and completely unnecessary, not to mention introducing a shit ton of plot holes with that whack ass mutant ability they pull from thin air. In my version she’s human(as far as we know) and when she dies she dies for real, full stop.
Fourth, we are GETTING a biblically accurate Deadpool. They did my bro dirty and I refuse to compromise on this. His role will be larger to compensate for his big ass personality and the fact that i’m affectively letting him take up Gambit’s role from the original in addition to what he already had. Also I just think he bounces off of Logan really well and could serve as a really interesting parallel with having such similar trauma and very different ways of responding to it and seeing the world. Like just imagine D&W if they accidentally traumabonded over their similar origin stories.
Fifth, I’m making Victor our stand in for the films Weapon XI! He doesnt get adamantium or new powers like Wade, only the dehumanizing psychological torture present in the original Weapon X comic. I think it works great for his spiraling arc, gives me a chance to squeeze a faithful weapon X adaptation in here without upending the entire film’s structure, and helps to better position his character on a trajectory towards his more feral appearance in X1 where he doesn’t seem to fully recognize Logan.
Sixth, I’d like to include Dr. Cornelius as the head scientist in Weapon X. My current concept is that he’s in charge of all the unethical mutant capturing and experimenting, working under Stryker’s supervision but still an outsider to the government, being sent in by Stryker’s most significant source of funding for his program in Nathaniel Essex. I know this has zero basis in canon I just think it sounds cool and makes sense for Sinister to have hands in a program aiming to create perfect mutant soldiers, as someone using mutants DNA to create a genetically perfect race of superhumans and become the ultimate life form. (Sinister would not play a large role, more of a looming presence pulling strings and fucking people over)
To get more overarching here, I wanted to hone in on the dynamics and themes present in the original that i thought had the most potential for further development. Victor’s spiral to madness and eventual complete loss of self under Stryker, Logan learning to let go of Victor’s influence and the violence that he let define his life only for both to drag him back after Silverfox’s demise. Really digging into that nature vs nurture shit, and adding more mutant politics (and their accompanying metaphors for the struggles of marginalized people) cuz honestly i feel like it’s absence in the original is very noticeable, and ties in really well with Logan’s arc of self acceptance and learning to see himself as more than the violent nature of his mutation.
Stuff I Still Want Changed:
Ok so here’s where I’m throwing my hat out for suggestions, because there are still a couple minor things present in the movie that i’m just not a fan of or don’t really know what to do with. The difference is, with these I can’t really think of tweaks that could fix/improve them. So if yall have any ideas on what I can do about these, or maybe some completely unrelated changes that you just think could improve the rewrite, please let me know.
One, not really sure what to do with Zero, he’s around for a lot of the movie but didn’t really stand out much to me. I just don’t know a lot about the character or what his deal is in the comics to find something cool to do with him. I’m going back and forth on if his role is ultimately necessary?? Does Stryker really need another henchman? Or should I use the space he occupies to hone in more on Victor and Logan’s rivalry? Idk i’m still on the fence so tell me what yall think.
Two, god I just fucking hate those memory wiping adamantium bullets. It’s such a stupid plot device that makes no sense conceptually and was clearly just thrown in as an afterthought at the last second like the writers forgot they needed to erase his memory by the end. That’s not to mention the fact that the bullets’ function was retconned later in Logan. Genuinely though I cannot find another way to go about fucking up Logan’s head without basically upending the structure of this movie in its entirety so any ideas on how to solve this dilemma are appreciated.

Wayne has been... interesting over the last few chapters and really this whole book.
Firstly I do think it's strong characterization for him to easily espouse and laud the greatness of Wax and Marasi while writing himself off. Proceeding to basically solve the entire apartment scene and downplay his accomplishments.
Wayne not only has a strong disdain for himself, but like many people in similar headspaces as him, he is not only unable to acknowledge his own positive attributes but is quick to actively downplay himself for the raising of others.
I doubt I am the first to see there's a strong connection between Wayne's power of bring sickly and unhealthy to then be the one taking punishment and intentionally being harmed to draw attention away from friends. It's like the allomantic equivalent of self-deprecating humor, which he is also consistently using, see again, the apartment scene.
Wayne is blinding rich, but lives a poor man's because he thinks he deserves it.
Wayne is constantly joking in his head about drinking because he's constantly thinking about drinking.
Wayne has the ability to slow down time, to create moments where there are none and yet he has defined the entirety of his life by a split second decision made by a parentless kid 25 years ago.
Wayne is so antagonistic towards Steris (she'll change Wax), so loathing of himself because not only can he not let go, he can't accept change in general.
If Wax is a positive side of Ruin, of change, it feels to me like can be Wayne is the toxicity of Preservation.
This is super rambly but I hadn't posted in a while and felt like these brainworms would be enjoyed.

Current brainworm, none of the Celtic cultures' creation myths have survived, even though they almost certainly had one. The closest we have is the Lebor Gabala Erenn from Irish mythology, but it isn't a creation story, it records the various settlements of Ireland, ending in the Gaels. However, it is thought that there are reflections of an earlier creation myth in the LGE and in the Tain, and there are similar themes that validate that the Gaels at least viewed the creation of the landscape in this way from various other stories. Additionally, we can compare other Indo-European creation myths to figure out what elements the Gaelic creation myth almost certainly would have had. These include:
Before creation, there is a void of some kind
In that void, fire interacts with water/ice to create the first life
A primordial bovine, most likely a cow (bulls were more common in IE cultures that emphasized pastoralism over crops. The Romans had a she-wolf, because they had to be edge lords)
One primordial being or possibly a set of twins who are sustained by the milk of the cow
One of the twins/the primordial being is dismembered to create the physical world
So already we have the makings of a general creation story, and if you're familiar with Norse mythologies, you might recognize it. In fact, it's thought that the Norse creation myth has retained the most elements of the original IE myth
However, scholars point out that the primordial being that is killed is called *Yemo, meaning "twin", which means there was likely originally two first beings. In the one sacrificing the other, the act renders the brother doing the sacrificing as the First Priest, who creates the concept of death, but in doing so turns that death into the living world. The sacrificed brother is then typically rendered as the First King and Ruler of the Land of the Dead. By setting up this order for the world, the First Priest establishes that life cannot exist without death (whether it be harvesting crops or butchering livestock), and typically, these myths continue and establish the role of the priests in society, who's job it is to ensure the continuity of the original sacrifice and maintain the living world
Now, here's where we get into my speculation;
I think it's likely that the Irish creation myth involved a set of twins. Off the top of my head, I think that possible reflections of this can be found in the brothers Amergin and Donn and in the Donn Cuailnge and Finnbhennach from the Táin. With Amergin and Donn, Donn insults the goddess of the land and is drowned. In doing so, Donn becomes a god of the dead and all the souls of the dead have to gather at or pass through Tech Duinn. Amergin however, secures the support of these goddesses and is able to go on and give order to the Gaelic rule of Ireland by deciding who will rule what and serves as the Chief Ollam (bard) of Ireland. In the Táin, after the main Plot has gone down, the Donn Cuailnge and Finnbhennach fight and the the Donn Cuailnge ends up killing Finnbhennach. As the Donn Cuailnge passes through the landscape, pieces of Finnbhennach drop off his horns and form/name part of the landscape. I think it's also interesting how in both these stories, one of the duo is explicitly associated with the color white (Amergin is called "white knees") and the other one is dark, but the opposite one dies first in the stories
Also, if we look at myths like the creation of the Shannon and the Boyne rivers, where in the goddesses Sionnan and Boann, respectively, die in the rivers' creations, we further see that the death of one figure to create an element of the landscape is a relatively common one, so a creation story similar to the one I hypothesize the Irish had wouldn't have been outside of pagan Irish belief
Additionally, if we look at the duíle, kind of like the Irish elements/natural features, we see that the nine elements/features are each explicitly associated with body parts. Stone is associated with bones, the sea with blood, the face with the sun, ect. I think this could be a call back to that earlier creation myth
Off the top of my head, that's what I've been mulling over. Idk, I might be completely off the mark, but if anyone wants give their thoughts, I'd love to hear them. I'm certainly not an expert in Irish mythology and there may be some key factor that completely sinks this idea

I hated the idea of Lestat being married in season three when I first saw it circulating here. But it's become a brainworm and I'm starting to think it could work. First off, it's been mentioned and is probably the reason the idea first came about, he's older than in the books and so there are more years between Auvergne and Paris that need a backstory. He's 34 when turned in the adaptation. In that time period he'd more than likely be married before reaching that age. When you consider that his family has a title but are impoverished. It's likely they would bargain him for a potential wife's dowry. It would be socially acceptable and possibly expected. Also, they violently denied him an education and priesthood, they denied him the theatre troupe for cruel and selfish reasons. Why would they hesitate in binding him to an arranged marriage for their gain? His wants be damned, always. It feels very in the spirit of TVL. I think it would need to be arranged at a young age that would've been acceptable for the time, as young as seventeen even. With her probably dying in childbirth, how soon and before or after other children would be born/conceived who knows. I'm guessing within five years of the marriage she'd pass, with around five years of him struggling in the lost state Nicki finds him in in the books, then four+ happy years in Paris with Nicki pre-turning. If he had been a father, even for a short amount of time or just an expectant one, it would make his failure with Claudia all the more encompassing without taking anything away from their arc. It also feels like you could make a psychological connection to him always making fledglings as a vampire to his wife losing every pregnancy or them losing every child. But that would be a leap, and more a head cannon thing. Ultimately, I think their life together would be short and if there were children they would also be doomed by the times or the eventual revolution. Ever plagued by loss is Lestat.
I can imagine the scene after the wolf kill when Lestat is recuperating in his room and Nicki comes with his father to present the coat to him happening still, but this time Nicki comes alone. Love instantly blossoming within Lestat, already a widower, for this man who is seeing him at his lowest but gazes at him as if he is an incredible, impossible being.
All of the emotional turmoil Lestat goes through in Auvergne, the vulnerability he shares with Nicki, would still be there but given more life experience for this adaptation's Lestat. His paralyzing fear of death more layered by being rooted in grief and loss as well as his anxiety plagued disposition.
The tragedy of him then losing his life just as he's finally finding peace and happiness would remain.
I also admit there are many reasons it could not work, like why would he have never mentioned this other important person (or children!) to Louis? But would Louis have any reason to mention it to Daniel if he had? Would it change the dynamic with Nicki too much? Gabrielle? Can they throw in such a huge change like that, and it not feel too off even if it works within the adaptation? But him being turned at 34 instead of 20 is huge. That's fourteen years of experience to be created. They have to do something and him hunting and hating his dad and big brothers (for good reason) and his circumstances for an extra fourteen years sounds less entertaining than an arranged marriage. There would also be an interesting nod to the books if they have him married off at 20 instead of turned. An unwanted marriage as a little death? I'm not all in on the idea but, point is, it may not be so bad. They could still make this part of his life have all the same emotional reverb as the book with a married backstory and I know there is far more there that this team could flesh out. So, if they go that direction, I'm not worried anymore is my point.
This is otherwise all pointless rambling so if you've made it this far thanks for hanging in there.
How about a side note since you're here? Could the painting of the woman in the coffin room, the one he placed overlooking him as he rests, be said tragic wife or just another thing he picked up cleaning out the NOLA antique shops? Could it be a parallel to Louis with his painting of Paul and Claudia's dress?
Please feel free to add to this whole thing or spit venom at it. I'm always open to corrections and new ideas and different takes. This is all just what-ifs for fun anyway. I may not respond just because I suck at it, but it won't mean I don't appreciate and enjoy your thoughts.

Winter King episode theory regarding why Finn and Jake aren’t really… around…
Okay so I wasn’t gonna actually voice this theory until after the show was over (or at all bc theory stuff isn’t rlly my thing), but eh what the hell. It’s not exactly particularly relevant to the overall Fionna and Cake plot, but I just find it interesting.
Also I wanna preface this by saying that I might be forgetting certain details that would disprove all of this and render this entire thing pointless. So feel free to correct me because I love knowing that I just wasted my time.
So from what I remember in the Winter King reality, we specifically never hear or see any mention of Finn and Jake from anyone and they don’t seem to be around in any capacity. The roles of Ice King and Princess Bubblegum have been reversed and Finn and Jake’s roles have more or less been filled by other characters too (the ice scouts).
So as I was watching this, it made me come to a conclusion: This is the universe where Finn and Jake disappeared.
In e19s6 of the original show, “Is That You?”, Prismo gets brought back to life via Jake becoming his dream host or whatever. And as a result, Finn became a sword because time paradox shenanigans. Even back when I first watched that episode, I had always wondered what that meant for the timeline they came from. Was there just a world where F and J disappeared without a trace?
This could possibly be that timeline since (unless I missed something), it’s never specified when Winter King became Winter King. Like yeah he said it was about 100 years ago, but 100 years from when??? (Also, I know I’ve seen some theories that this is just a world where Finn was never born, but I think this could be a little more interesting.)
This could also explain why Marceline is gone. Because Stakes happens in season 7 and Marceline becomes mortal again. Maybe Finn and Jake not being there caused things to go differently and Marceline ended up either dying to the vampires, or dying of old age after a while. Then from there, anything could have happened. Including Ice King casting his madness onto PB and creating the world that we see in the Winter King Episode. There wasn’t anyone to stop him at that point.
I initially thought this theory was disproven by the recent Fionna and Cake episode, “Jerry”. I thought that maybe THIS was the actual universe where they disappeared. Mostly because Finn and Jake being gone could have meant the Litch had another chance at killing everyone. Either that or Orgalorg killed everyone and that’s why the sky was that yellow color (I thought this before I actually saw the Litch in the episode). But it turns out this was just the reality from the Litch’s original wish so imo that just means my theory still holds so :P
Anyway yeah… I’m probably forgetting some important detail that debunks all of this. Either that or I’m slow and this is common knowledge or something idk. It’s just been giving me brainworms so I figured I’d type it all out.
TLDR. The Winter King reality is the result of the F and J disappearing to become a cool sword and Prismo respectively and just never coming back.

so on a whim I started reading omniscient reader’s viewpoint manhwa
..and got hooked on the story so hard that I easily blasted through all available eps in less than a week. istg they put dr*gs in this thing it’s so good???? 😭
[SPOILER WARNING! big ramble ahead. if you’ve never read it, leave this post. consider checking it out you won’t be able to put it down]
lets get this out of the way first.
RAHHHHHH KIM DOKJA….. KIM DOKJA I LOVE YOU
Tumblr media
GUYSSSSS 🥺 LISTEN. HE’S SUCH A GOOD PROTAGONIST. MY TRAUMA BOY. MY DUDE WITH THE POWER TO INFODUMP PEOPLE TO DEATH. YOU SELF-SACRIFICING IDIOT. his cunning intelligence makes him super attractive what can I say, I LOVE smart mcs with ambiguous morality and self sacrificial nature
here’s a big ✨shut your mouth✨ to every character who’s said he’s ugly- get your eyes checked, get a job get away from him (I know it’s because of the fourth wall’s filter it’s not their fault I’m just being silly)
the fourth wall is such a cool power to have. the complexity of how it acts based on his perception of fiction vs reality as the reader …. that’s very interesting and well thought out!!! how it lowkey has a consciousness too and it’s so tied into his mental state makes me want to psychoanalyze this guy even more. probably one of the most unique powers I’ve seen created and explored in a story tbh
I think the entire system of how the world works is really well done in general. constellations watching the apocalyptic bloodbath via livestream and sending donos to their favorite little guys shouldn’t work as well as it does and cracks me up so much 😭 (uriel is the best). I enjoy learning about all the irl different fables, history & mythologies too. plus doing my own research is fun! I did a deep dive through the web to learn about dokkaebi folklore lol I’m having a good time
I also related hard to how dokja read TWSA throughout his life, the story was a companion for him. got choked up bc I reflected on how much my own favorite companion stories for years mean to me. there’s been situations I’ve thought “what would (character) do?” dokja saying stuff like “what would joonghyuk do?” felt like I got called out <3 I’d probably be the same as him if my favorite characters suddenly came to life
anyways yeah I caught up with the manhwa looked online and discovered it comes from an already completed novel with over 500 chapters and the manhwa is barely a third into adapting it though it’s been releasing every week for 4 years. and that it’ll take like 10 more years to finish. I then planted my face in my hands and screamed with despair
I’ll shrivel up waiting to see what happens……………heyyy woahhhh.. whats this light of salvation ? the novel file just completed download on my phone ? that’s crazyy wow I opened it ? im scrolling it right now ? omg I’m telling myself in the mirror “pace yourself, try to space your reading out do NOT read too fast” ?
jokes aside im excited, first I’ll take some time to read back through the earlier chapters for extra context of scenes! >:D after I finish doing that…. pls pray for my self-control to try stretching this for as long as possible. I’m pumped to see what happens next with this demon king part so maybe I’ll read along with the manhwa unless I get too impatient heh
to conclude- I had no idea the fandom of orv was so passionate. while closing my eyes to spoilers, I was looking at beautiful fanart and animatics (watched this one and ascended that’s one of my fav rin songs). I can tell how much you guys love the story, there’s always going to be people like me who get interested so keep it up :D if the fandom does end up reading this, ummm *knocks on the door* hi im new
I will likely talk about it more in the future!! tagging under “#kade reads orv” ! might draw fanart on my art blog too bc brainworms <3 happy reading everyone

Hi LU friends.
By now you've probably seen my tag reminder post for AO3, and hopefully Krisis's important addition as well.
Let me also be abundantly clear: If you are creating post TotK LU Wild in the coming weeks, you need to tag that appropriately as well. Both on AO3 and here on Tumblr.
I am not interested in seeing your take on what changes for Wild with TotK. I am not interested in seeing how the Chain reacts to everything that is different in his Hyrule. I am not interested in having the game spoiled for me by your brainworms.
I want to play the game for myself, not read everyone else's takes.
I've already blocked every general TotK tag I can think of, but I'm happy to add more. Perhaps something like "lu TotK" or "lu TotK Wild" if that would be easiest. Just try to keep it organized.
(I am fully aware that AO3 has pre-emptively bungled their own fandom sorting system by combining the TotK and BotW fandoms, but character tags and additional tags still exist, so use them.)
Be courteous, be kind. We are all excited. But we also all want the joy of the game, so tag appropriately.

All the "Julian thinks he's half-vulcan" headcanons make me long for Actually half-vulcan Julian.
Haha, I'm glad they're sparking the brainworms, thanks for letting me know!
I'm not quite sure how that would work out, I feel like it would change a fair bit - my mind leaps especially to how, if Julian's not being brought up with careful Vulcan logic, he's going to be experiencing pretty violent emotions as he grows up and not have a way to control them. I'd be interested to read anyone else's thoughts on this, because that's where mine stop! 😅
I'm also pondering why he would be half-Vulcan: did Amsha have an affair, as he guesses in the other AU? Did Richard and Amsha adopt him?
Ooooh, actually, I kind of want to say he's a full Vulcan who they adopted because they wanted a smart child... And Adigeon Prime was to disguise him to be outwardly human so he felt like "theirs".
Or maybe Jules was some sort of test-tube experiment baby, created with a mix of both Bashir and Vulcan DNA - but as it turns out, Jules is not the exceptionally talented child his parents were hoping for, instead being rather like prime!Jules, and so they "have to" rectify it on Adigeon Prime - so he's half-Vulcan AND genetically enhanced?

hello i love your pgr x ac au so much... i'm having brainworms about it even as i'm working on some projects so i have to let it out here GOD - are ezio, altair, and connor the only constructs? what about the other assassins? - what's up with the templars? - what weapons would those three guys use? i'm mostly imagining them with the hidden blades (obviously) with the idea that it's a little like bambi's mantis blades but they also have swords here ran out of ideas BUT if something else pops up i will probably end up dropping it into your askbox... so sorry for the dump pgr's one of my favorite games and seeing it with ac awakened something in my brain
Hahahaha, honestly, I wasn’t expecting a lot of people to enjoy it considering PGR isn’t all that well known but I’m glad to know that the story resonated with a lot of you guys.
And, to be honest, I started getting an idea for a PGR x AC crossover because I was playing PGR and all I can think of is that Desmond would have made a good commandant (he'd definitely act more like a dad to Gray Raven, that's for sure). I’m a fan of Cerberus and I can totally see him being the tired dad of the chaotic trio with Murray taking care of the politics (and relaxing) XD
But then another idea came to mind and that’s how we got Inheritance Among the Stars hahahaha
I did say there are no real plans to make a sequel at the moment but I can answer your questions with what I’ve thought about
Are there other AC characters who have turned into Constructs?
If this was a purely an AC story in the world of PGR, yes. We’ve already seen Rebecca and Clay as Constructs (+ Lucy) and I’m thinking of Evie, Jacob and Arno as another Construct team (maybe with Jayadeep as their commandant) with Evie being the Attacker, Jacob being a Tank and Arno being an Amplifier (and the leader). Another idea I have is that Kassandra being a Uniframe/Transcendant of some kind. Shay though is an Ascendant (or maybe he’s a Transcendant, it depends on what is up with the Templars XD)
What is up with Templars?
(Shrug) They’re off doing what they do best. Scheme XD
I will say this: there are Templars in the World’s Government and they are quite interested in Project Animus.
What weapons would those three guys use?
Oh yes. I definitely thought of their hidden blades to be quite similar to Bambi’s mantis blade but they only use their hidden blade when they know it would be a killing blow. Their other weapons though are:
Altaïr – sword that looks a lot like the Sword of Altaïr, Altaïr relies on speed to deal lots of damage in a short amount of time. Mechanic-wise, he’s similar to Alpha Crimson Weave as he has two styles of fighting, one has him using his sword as normal and the other has him using his sword while sheathed.
Ezio – a crossbow that shoots off paralyzing shots and a hidden gun that he would use for emergency. He can summon funnels ala Wanshi Lucid Dreamer that shoots where he aims or can create barriers as long as they’re grouped together.
Ratonhnhaké:ton – a tomahawk that would always return to him if he wills it. Unlike the other two, the closest to my idea of his Construct body is Lamia Lost Lullaby. His usual form is similar to how he usually looks but he has another form where he takes on different forms depending on what color the orb he pinged last (doesn’t have to be 3 orbs pinged) before transforming. Red is his eagle form which he can fly for a brief short of time (like Loki), blue is his wolf form (his attacks would be similar to 21 Feral), and yellow is his bear form (I’m kinda thinking his moveset is similar to Karerina Scire)
Hahahaha, feel free to add more if you want. I felt the need to answer your ask because there were a lot of notes I had that I didn’t include because I thought they would be too deep into PGR mechanics XD

the real miracle is someone still writing for her in 2024 XD i’ve been following you for a looong while for the re8 content(which is absolutely amazing), and accidentally stumbled upon some long gone Faith Seed fanfic from yearss ago, the brainworms came back and I remembered seeing that my favorite dimi sister writer also wrote about her and i went 👀👀👀So I was wondering if you’d be willing to write some relationship hc’s about Faith and a badass gn!s/o(they could be the deputy or a reader insert whichever you feel more comfortable with) who looks as mean and as tough as they come but are like an overgrown puppy around Faith. I know your blog is mainly nsfw buttt ik you make some exceptions for sfw content ;) Also it’s my first time ever requesting something instead of just lurking from the side so im sorry if everything sounds messy af😭
Honestly yeah, the ao3 tag even is bombarded with her brothers instead of her, it’s a struggle ;-;
But, as the famous line goes
“Fine, I’ll do it myself” XD, gladly so!
Let’s get into it! :))
Masterlists
Not relationship HCs yet but overall dep/reader being a soft puppy around her XD
Faith has been called many names in the past; daughter, friend, traitor, manipulator, child, herald
A monster. A liar
The one with the flowers
When you stumble to the henbane river, she wonders
What will your name for her be?
It seems, you haven’t quite made up your mind yet
Truthfully, she is awfully curious about you from the moment you’ve stepped into her region of the land
Word is, you’ve caused her brothers quite a bit of trouble
Especially John
Having burned silos left and right, raided bases and taken those that were meant to be “freed”
She ached to visit her brother, if only to catch a glimpse of you
Of course, this is forbidden. She is to stay within the henbane river region
Joseph will not debate on this, she knows
Oh, but what is she doing at the river when her interest lays in the valley?
This changes, one day, when she receives word of your appearance near one of her outposts
From within the flower field, she can’t help but watch you
Joseph surely doesn’t have to know she just watches idly as you take the gas station over
What’s the harm in losing one outpost, after all? She knows, she’ll get it back
It’s unusual for her to be this disobedient. She knows, the Father’s word is law
And she knows, he would disapprove of her curiosity
She is tasked to convert you, not watch as you advance into her territory
She can’t help herself, though
Your rough appearance, the guns and knives, bats and blades strapped to your body, the self crafted weapons she knows to be in your backpack…
The scars along your body, at the very least the ones she can see and are not covered by clothing
Like her, you have a reputation
Rough, badass, mean, unrelenting, stubborn, wrathful, arrogant, merciless
Like you, she doesn’t cling to these terms. These names
She wants to create her own picture of you. Find out who you are really
In a way, it’s her job, to analyse, to pull in, and to take
She jumps at another gunshot, fired into one of her angels. More and more follow
She pities the lives that are lost that day
Oddly enough, she sees you aiming for her flowerfield
Have you received warning about them? Likely
Faith watches from behind a tree as you step into it. She knows, she shouldn’t be this close
She shouldn’t be outside her bunker at all. She shouldn’t be outside the Bliss. Joseph would disapprove
It’s curiosity, though, that pulled her out
The same curiosity that had her find the cult in the first place, too, only pointed towards you this time
She watches, wide eyed, when you suddenly jump back
An illusion of hers, yes. You must see it
Now, Faith is no stranger to the reactions of those who see such illusions of her
She anticipates the gunshot, or the tight beat of the bat that will cause her form to turn to mist
But, you do neither of these things
You don’t attempt to kill her on sight, even if you’re not yet aware it’s not truly her
You don’t even attempt to make her disappear. Instead, you merely tilt your head to the side, as though trying to figure her out
You seem to attempt to talk to her, but she cannot hear. She’s too far away, too far from her Bliss to reach into it and hear your words
Faith shudders for a moment. She feels the ground below her, too hard for her liking. The air, too cold on her bare arms and legs. Her feet are dirtied
This is not the Bliss. She knows, she must return soon
But, you’re so captivating…
You merely stare at her, until the illusion seems to poof away and you shake your head
As you exit her field of white flowers and step away, she frowns
You aren’t burning them down, like the rest of this resistance you’re a part of
You aren’t quite following their goals, she suspects
As she watches you drive off again, her head turns to the sky, far too blue. It’s never this blue in the bliss
She knows, she must return
Faith is- confused- by you
At first, she believed you to be hostile towards everything
And you are, in a way, to most things
And yet, you’re so tender with the illusions you practically drag from her
Never before has someone stepped into her flower fields as often
Once, you attempted to reach out to her, and drew back in shock when she turned to mist
Faith cursed herself. She couldn’t help but wonder, then, how you felt
At the same time, Jacob’s words ring in her mind often enough
Of manipulation and danger, the danger you pose. The wrath you’re bringing, supposedly
Faith doesn’t understand. There is no wrath in the way you treat her, even if it isn’t quite her
She decides to pull you into the Bliss properly
She fiddles with the flower in her hand nervously as she sees you approach, cautious, but eager
No one is with you, it’s only you
Just the way she likes it
“You’re back”, you whisper
She can’t help but giggle a little
It’s rather: you’re back
Faith has been finding you in her flower fields nearly every hour, as though you’re searching for her
And she always appears to you, in the form of the smoke of the bliss
But yet, not this time. This time she drags you into it. This time it’s her
And it’s making her nervous. Has her wish to drag you into it personally made her foolish?
What if you notice it is her in the flesh and fire?
Jacob has warned her of the dangers of the resistance members
She tries not to let it show. She knows, she is meant to appear confident
Carefree
Her white dress flutters in the wind and she shivers
As she walks around her field, she notices you follow eagerly
You always keep your distance- the exact distance to avoid her illusions poofing away. You’ve been paying attention to them
You’re not farther away, nor closer
Until she stretches out her hand
“Let me show you the Bliss”, she whispers
To her surprise, your eyes and expression does not turn angry, or alarmed
You smile at her, and cautiously reach out
Faith automatically takes a step back when you suddenly step into her personal space
You’re grinning, a full on smile she has never heard anybody describe on you before
She didn’t think you would smile
“You’re real”, you realise. She gasps when you poke her shoulder
“Stop that!”, she giggles. She can’t help the peaceful moment
She’s not in the Bliss yet, this is the real world. Joseph has no way of knowing she’s allowing herself this interaction
You don’t pull your gun, nor your other weapons. In fact, your hands are empty as you reach for her again
“Show me”, you seem to plead
And Faith all too happily does
She laughs gleefully at the feeling of the Bliss around her, her lips pursing as she blows some of the powder to your face
As you awaken, you immediately move back to her side, now too in the world of her creation
She giggles, her fingertips stroking the petals of the flowers below her
She sees you follow her, no matter where she goes. When she steps back, you follow
She knows, her goal is to bring you into the Father’s statue, to test your faith
But she is curious, and is having to much fun
How come you are following her like a lost puppy?
How long will you indulge her?
She giggles happily and carelessly as she grasps your hand and runs through her flowerfield
The world seems so soft, so warm and light. She loves the sensation
Faith gasps when you come to a halt, her hand in yours tugged and keeping her from running again
Even in this world, you’re strong
For a moment, she fears what you will do, standing still with her hand clasped tightly in yours
You’re holding hers even tighter than she holds you, but not uncomfortably so. It doesn’t hurt her
In fact, you seem very careful around her, as though she was as petite as the flowers she is known for
The auburn haired woman watches wide eyed as you pick one, and another
She feels her face heat up even in this Bliss world of hers when they are handed to her
“For you”
Faith likes to think she isn’t one to easily fluster (Yes she is)
And yet, she finds herself with pink cheeks every time her dear deputy crosses her path
And it’s often, really
There are countless times she is summoned to one of her fields by your presence, doing her best to concentrate so she will not simply poof away when you near her
She knows, you won’t hurt her
And she knows, you travel alone, and don’t allow anybody else to do as much as aim at her
And each time she is summoned, she feels your leathery, gloved fingertips press against hers when you push another flower into her hand
It’s almost as though you’re retrieving them for her
She expects no less this time, but is surprised when she receives more
“Stay still?”, you ask
She knows, her brothers would scold her for her delusion and nativity, for she closes her eyes and stands still with her hands clasped together behind her back
She’s vulnerable to attacks, she knows this
But, funnily enough, she has faith in you
And this is not betrayed. No harm comes to her, only the feathery soft sensation of flower petals brushing against her head
First her cheeks, then her forehead
Her unpainted lips part when she feels you tuck a strand of hair behind her ear
Next, something is sat on her head
Faith knows the familiar sensation of a flower crown
“Okay, open!”
She adores your excitement
Faith smiles as she opens her eyes, bright and happy when she raises her hand and petite fingertips brush against the white flower petals
You smile down at her, wide and happy, satisfied with yourself
“Thank you”
She knows, in time you too have put your faith in her
Not Joseph. Her
She never speaks of your soft nature to anyone
She never lets anybody know how you are around her when she hears of the trouble you’re causing her brothers whenever you venture into their regions
She isn’t stressed when you leave the henbane river
You always return
With gifts, usually, such as honey and apples from a farm in the valley
Or perhaps even magazines, and once- Faith remembers, you even retrieved her a red dress found in the mountains region of Hope County
She didn’t have the heart to tell you she was to only wear the white one gifted to her by Joseph
Still, she likes to look at it and hold it in front of her at mirrors in her base, the fabric tucked away in a suitcase under her bed
She also notices in time- you’re quite touchy with her
Whether in the real world or the Bliss, you like to stick close, and ideally hold onto her
She knows, you’re fond of holding her hand
At other times you like to pick flowers and hand them to her. Faith is not stupid, but allows you the action as an excuse to touch her
She often feels your hand on her hip, playing with the fabric of her dress
Never do you tug
Never would you dare attempt to tear it
You’re careful with her, clingy and sweet, and in return, she’s free with you
A secret shared between the two of you

Why do you like showvember so much? (not/neg)
Tumblr media
alright folks youre going to need to remove your cringe and irony-poisoned glasses for this one, i'm going to be genuine
This is a question I've been asking myself for a while! Sometimes things just make my brain really really happy and I can never tell why, but I've done enough research on myself to know SEVERAL reasons why Showvember specifically appeals to me.
Of course there's the more normal stuff that it shares with a lot of my other fandom-able interests. It's funny! I find it very entertaining! I like Popcorn's character!
And then. There's the part that puts it apart from the other stuff I like. If you aren't familiar with Showvember, it was made in a way comparable to the drawing game exquisite corpse. Each episode is made by one person with as little information about the other episodes as possible. They only have character designs/names/pronouns and elimination order to work with.
I think the key factor to why I'm obsessed with it to this degree is it's inconsistency! You'd think this would make it harder to engage in fandom, but I love the challenge! My favorite type of fanwork to create is just filling in plot holes and connecting dots to expand or explain canon. Headcanons! I like the world-building and logistics side of headcanoning over characters though. Showvember is a lot of work to be a fan for, but it's not a chore to me, more like a challenge. This was a large part of my enjoyment of MCYT and probably the big reason why i stuck around that fandom so damn long.
There's also this part of Showvember that really lends to it a lot of charm, and that's its messiness! It's an art game played by a group of friends and that shows! You can really see the strings and I like that in works. Being able to sort of see through a creation makes it more meaningful to me. I put this in a lot of my own works, I think it can be important to see the brushstrokes.
If you didn't properly remove the cringe and irony-poisoned glasses that I asked you to, you may be laughing at how I've referred to Showvember as a "work" and "meaningful." You may be confused that I'm treating it like a proper art piece and not just a silly joke. And that's because it is! it is an art piece with meaning, even if that meaning is not some grand theme or statement! I love these sorts of things. My greatest interest is in internet and specifically fandom culture, and one of the most infuriating things I come across is the discrediting and disrespect towards internet art and fanworks. And so I will treat these things with the respect and genuine care that they deserve as legitimate art. I will die on this hill and I will die on it next to shitposts and fanfics and silly YouTube shows that are basically one big joke.
So, in conclusion, Showvember is a show that I not only find entertaining but also manages to lend itself perfectly to my preferred type of fanwork. It is also a show that comes from a culture I am very passionate about. All of this intersects into a piece of media that I find very enjoyable to engage with both in and outside of fandom.
It kind of feels like when I was younger and I would fish out all the stranger pieces from the lego bin to make something with all of them. I love all the parts and where they came from, and would like to puzzle them all together into something just as fun. My Showvember fanworks are just as much an expression of my love for the show as they are for the OSC, for fandom, for the internet, and for silly art everywhere.
okay. we can go back to joking around now. the real reason is because i have brainworms that make me look at 50 popcorn showvember pics a day.or i die

Writer Questionnaire Tag
Thank you for the tag @wyked-ao3
It's always fun to do one of these lol
How long have you had your writing Tumblr/Writeblr? A fast and loose estimate is fine!
I've had a Tumblr account for about 6 months or so but I've only been a 'writeblr' for a couple months.
What led you to create it?
Idk tbh. I kinda just decided that I wanted to share my writing and it led me here.
What’s your favorite thing about the Writeblr community?
All of the creativity is amazing. I'm a whore for lore and world building, and the worlds that y'all come up with are immaculate. I could only hope to think of a world that vast and interesting.
What’s one thing you’d like your mutuals to know about you?
Please ddon't take me seriously. I've said it before and I'll say it again, but I'm not just a clown, I'm the entire circus. The day you take me too seriously (especially as an author) is the death of my whimsy.
Is there anything you’d like to see more of on your dash?
Nothing I can really think of. I'm pretty happy with how it is rn lol
WIP it Good
Which Works-in-Progress (WIPs) or writing projects are you noodling about, lately?
Bloody Hands are Kind and None of Us Heroes are always floating around. They're never not beating my ass with ideas and scenes.
How long have you been working on them?
I've been working of the series component of Bloody Hands are Kind since February, and None of Us Heroes for about 1 and a half months.
Do you remember what inspired them/what got you started?
None of Us Heroes started from the Honkai Star Rail brainworms known as Adventurine and Dr Ratio. Their designs and story inspired the two main characters of None of Us Heroes. The series component of Bloody Hands are Kind was basically me shoving a long-standing OC of mine into the Hunger Games universe and praying it would work.
How much time, in your best estimation, do you spend thinking about them?
At least a few hours a day, usually when I'm laying in bed trying to fall asleep. My array of illnesses make falling asleep hard and I find that thinking about my stories makes it easier to forget that I'm not asleep (and therefore hopefully fall asleep).
When someone asks the dreaded, “What do you write about,” question, what do you usually say?
"Whatever the voices command."
What do you want to say (if it’s different from what you do say)?
Meh I say that because I find it funny so idk if I'd change it.
Let’s Rotate Blorbos
Name any characters you created. Side characters, protagonists, antagonists, characters who’ve never been written, the first original abomination you ever pulled from your ass; whomever you’d like!
OHH LORD THIS IS GONNA BE A LONG LIST. So we got Adrian, Nova, Amarantha, Jack, Cora Beth, Ben Al-Badawi (x3), Jack Collins, William Talt, Blue, Zero, One, Two, Three, Four, Five, Six, Seven, Eight, Azrael (aka Amane), Lucifer, Achlys, Quinn Amsel, Atlas Selic, Michael, Adena, Nakir, Evangeline, Celeste, Saeko, Gabriel, Kaz Anderson, Caspian, Jyn Osaka, Nikolai Sevigny, Cyril, Kylan Whitlock, Kestrel, Leo Valandi, Anaïs, Delph, Laz (short for Lazarus), Neo, Roland, Tobias, Will, Mirwais, Simon Cruz, Conrad, James Blackthorn, Alessandra Snow, Max Foster, Benyamin Safi, Haeyun Sin, and Dante Silvestre. There are more, but I either don't care enough to write them down or I've forgotten their names.
Who’s the most unhinged?
Blue 100%. He's not human and it is not uncommon for his species to be cannibalistic. He's not, but he's still unhinged asf
Who comes the most naturally for you to write?
Max Foster. He's easy to write because me and him share a lot if similarities.
Do you ever cringe at them?
Oh definitely. A lot of my old characters are cringy.
How much control do you feel you have over your characters? AKA, do they ever “write themselves,” refuse to cooperate, or do things you didn’t expect? To what degree? Are some less cooperative than others?
Dude idk what to tell you, whenever I try and force my characters to do something I hit the biggest writer's block wall I've ever seen.
On Writeblr Engagement
Do you enjoy people asking questions about your characters? And do you have a preferred means of receiving said questions? For example, as Asks, as replies, as reblogs, as tag notes, as comments on AO3, etc.
YES YES PLEASE ASK ME!! Anyways, I don't really care how you ask (I just want you to ask lol), but if I had to pick it'd either be asks or comments on Ao3. Though ofc I still love questions in any and all forms, even if it's something like making a separate post and tagging me loll.
What makes you want to follow another Writeblr account? Do you follow ‘em as you see ‘em, or take time scoping out the blog to make sure you align with its content? Do you follow based on WIPs, or vibes?
I mostly follow people if I think their cool or if I find myself consistently liking their posts as they come across my dash. I don't follow people often tho lol. I only follow abt 20 people I think.
What makes you decide against following?
If their vibes are too negative, if they're super political, if their content doesn't align with something I care about, or if they're super anti something I am. Any combination of those could be the reason I don't follow.
Do your mutuals’ characters occupy space in your noodle?
Yes. I think about other people's WIPs and such all of the time. I love stories, what can I say?
Do you interact with non-mutuals often?
Of course! As I said, I don't follow many people so I don't have many mutuals. I love interacting with different people though, so I'm happy to strike up conversations with random people I find cool!

I still have Hazbin Hotel brainworms, so here's a couple theories and mindless thoughts/questions:
I don't think Angel Dust will be redeemed anytime soon. I think his contract with Valentino will play into why he hasn't been gone to Heaven yet and that he won't be able to leave Hell until the contract is dissolved. I also think that once the contract ends and Angel leaves, the show will end bc Angel was their first guest and is therefore the most thematic one to end on.
If a sinner can be redeemed and become a winner, can the opposite also be true? Can a winner be corrupted into a sinner and fall to Hell? Is that what Sera is trying to protect the winners from or is there a bigger unknown threat?
Since sinners go to Heaven under special circumstance, what happens to the ones that don't redeem themselves before they died? We know that their demon form body dies and the darkness in their soul spreads around to the surrounding area, but what happens to the rest of it? Does it dissolve into nothing? Maybe reincarnate to reduce the amount of souls that need to be made at any given time?
I know it's coincidence but it's funny to me that the Radio Demon's name starts with A (like Audio or Auditory) and the TV Demon's name starts with V (like Video or Vision). Really clues you in on how their influence spreads through the Pride Ring. (through sound and images respectively)
Is Eve in Hell? Since she took the apple of knowledge willingly, she's probably there right? Will she be important later?
Will Adam and Eve's kids be in the story at all? Like, if they want to do a story arc about sibling feuds in the future (*side-eyes Angel's brother*) then having that story happen in parallel to whatever shit Cain and Abel (and maybe Seth) would be dealing with might be interesting.
Is Alastor's mother in heaven? I feel like if she was in Hell, she would've at least gotten a cameo at some point. Will she show up as a character that becomes Alastor's weakness later on?
If you really want to interpret Alastor and Vox's rivalry in a new way, you could see it as a fight in planned obsolescence. Vox's tech is mass-produced and made to be replaced by the next big model, meanwhile Alastor's radio in the "Old Crap" store still works just fine despite how long it's probably been in use and will most likely continue to work long after Vox's stuff eventually breaks.
I know this is just a silly pilot joke, but does Sir Pentious actually have a son that he's been looking for? Does he keep creating the egg boys as a replacement for a child he can't find? Is that why only one of them had a name? Or maybe he used to name all of them but they kept dying too easily so eventually he just stopped and Frank's the only named one left?
Are the egg boys sinners or demons? I think they're just demons right? Like the egg boys can be easily manipulated into doing bad things and ignorance is a sin, but they let Adam into heaven so why reject the eggs?

do you ever thought of making a comparison between spicebush yi sang and k corp hong lu since both of them have the same sin affinities (and also in the same mirror world)(no this is not the hongsang brainworm speaking what are you talking abou-
You know what, that is a fun thing to talk about, because you're right. They have the exact same Sin Affinities, however not a single one shares a spot on their skills lists.
K Corp Hong Lu's order of Sins is Pride, Gluttony, Sloth, while Spicebush Yi Sang's is Gluttony, Sloth, Pride. How interesting!
Now, I won't be doing a full analysis on Bushsang (...yet), but I might as well talk about how I think these Sins differ between the two, using what I discussed in my K Corp Hong Lu Identity Analysis as base for this brief look.
So let's start from Bushsang's first skill - Gluttony. For Yi Sang, this presents the shallow reading of him, his hunger for the destruction of technology, and for the world that would follow that. It's a goal without a clear destination in mind, and it is only a surface level understand of his actions.
Beyond the contrast that is K Corp Hong Lu's Gluttony representing hunger for survival rather than hunger for progress, it is important to note it's a notably deeper motivation for him. The Prideful actions he takes as his Skill 1 are deeper motivated by his need to survive in this environment, and to survive by not disobeying his family. You could theoretically also read into Gluttony being a representation of his position as well - he's endlessly healing, endlessly regenerating, endlessly surviving. That's the purpose he's given as a Class 3 K Corp Staff, to survive through everything.
When it comes to Bushsang's Sloth, I think it's interesting how it can be read in a similar way to K Hong Lu's Gluttony - in that it has a both deeper meaning and an alternate, more surface meaning. On the surface, this Sloth could represent Bushsang's atittude to leading - he's apathetic, not actually invested in the TLA's own goal and not willing to correct them, and seemingly more of a figurehead type leader that stands back rather than the one actively commanding people during missions.
The deeper interpretation of this Sloth is it being being a deeper motivation for his Gluttonous actions. He's apathetic to the current state of the world, resigned to the past he feels nostalgia for, seeing technology as an oppressive force yet hypocritically wishes for them to be created again in the future and repeat this cycle. I think that's the main reason why he's Sloth instead of Wrath, as the change he wishes to see in the world isn't to abolish the status quo, it's to turn back to a time that he preferred without actually changing anything.
It's an interesting comparison to K Hong Lu's Core Sloth, as for him that resignation is much more overwhelming. It's towards his entire circumstances. His family, his position, his fate. He's stuck being an object, a tool, a weapon, without any say for himself, and thus resigns himself to that role. Again, in stark contrast to Bushsang, who while full of resignation, is actually trying to change things because of it.
And this is where we get to Pride. I'm going to mention K Hong Lu's first, since it is a bit simpler. It's the shallow interpretation of his motivations and actions. He ignores the boredom he has to go through, the harm he has to inflict, and his grandma's true intentions for the sake of the benefit of "new experiences". Though, as we learn from his other Sins, this goes much deeper than just that.
As for Bushsang, Pride is his Core Sin, and I think it really shows. The main reason he's doing everything he does, it's for this one goal, this one desire - for the world to return to a time before technology, so people can experience the joy of inventing it all over again. And it doesn't matter to him what he has to do to get there. It doesn't matter to him if he has to destroy all technology in the process, taking away something that, while oppressive, is also beneficial to many people in the City. It doesn't matter to him if he has to lie about his true motivation to those he works with, as long as it gets him closer to his goal. And it doesn't matter if the means to this end could be considered terrorism by the Wings, he will return the world to the state he's nostalgic for at all cost.
Hope that was fun to read! Felt like doing this little mini-sin analysis in-between my bigger posts to cleanse my pallate a little bit~

what if tua was in toh?
Continuing my quest to clean out my ask box-- this one has been in here for a few days (which isn't that long, considering) so yes!! I shall talk about my two special interests!!
I'm assuming you mean if the Umbrella Academy characters were in the Owl House world? Oh gosh... the Hargreeves on the Boiling Isles.
Shit, now the brainworms want to create witchsonas for the Hargreeves. Which could be a very good thing. Or a very random time consuming thing that has no real purpose or merit besides satisfying the brainworms...
Anyway. I apologize for the pure hyperfixation nonsense that's about to take place below.
Luther. I can absolutely picture Luther being a Steve-esque character, someone who was a firm supporter of Emperor Belos (and very much taken advantage of emotionally/mentally) until it comes to light just what Belos was up to. I feel like he'd be in the Construction Coven, otherwise-- super strength and all that. Maybe with a job like Hunter's after everything's over... Luther the Palismen carver is actually a super tender image. Something gentle and meaningful, something that's a big difference from his tough grunt job of the past.
Allison. My first thought is that Allison would be in the Illusions Coven. Perhaps even a Coven Head, although someone more in a role like Darius or Raine, where she's a double agent. Then again, I feel like Allison would be comfortable with the power she had, at least until she figured out just what the man she was working for was planning to do. Or maybe she'd be like Odalia and be a very influential and powerful ally of the Emperor, although Allison isn't nearly as shitty as Odalia. And a damn sight better mom. I'm going with double-agent Allison, final answer.
Diego. We all know what Diego would do. Him and his little vigilante act. Perhaps he'd be like Eda, existing just to piss off the Emperor's Coven and refusing to get branded. I don't think he'd use a specific type of magic, but also I just can't really picture him relying on magic at all. He's much more of a hands-on sort, preferring head-on confrontation rather than a more tactical approach.
Klaus. First and foremost, Klaus on the Boiling Isles would absolutely be a demon hybrid and he would be fantabulous. I'm thinking... something Adrian Graye adjacent, with a tufty tail. Do you see my vision? It's an excellent vision. Anywho. He'd be in the Oracle Coven, obviously, with communicating to ghosts and all. Although, the gifts of the Oracle Coven aren't nearly as sinister as Klaus' are made out to be. And if we're going off of death connections, Klaus the grimwalker...? I think I have a new vision.
Five. As I was writing this, I was possessed by the idea of Five being an Archivist. Just a little chaos creature who isn't completely aware (or doesn't really care) about the causalities his actions leave behind. Constantly straddling the line between hero and hindrance, both a help and a burden to the protagonist. Oho, I really like this idea of mine. Also, it fits with his time and space bending abilities. That aside, Five's Palismen would be a small dog named Mr. Pennycrumb. I don't make the rules here.
Ben. Hmmm, Ben's actually kinda tricky for me. The others had relatively easy powers to translate in the TOH-verse, but Ben's powers are a lot more dark and gorey. Although, if I'm going with my Grimwalker!Klaus idea, picture this-- Ben's a previous Grimwalker who's haunting (helping?) Klaus? Or perhaps a former ally of Belos's who was killed off for being too dangerous/a threat (perhaps Ben's a demon, and that's how his powers would manifest in this universe. Tentacle boy.)
Viktor. I can actually picture Viktor in more of a Luz role... a human, or half-human, someone who doesn't quite fit in with the rest of the Boiling Isles until he uncovers latent powers or figures out magic through the use of glyphs. Plus, similar to Luz, Viktor was used and manipulated into creating a series of events that almost destroyed the world they loved. Although, in Viktor's case, he really did end the world. Whoops. Also, Bard Coven Viktor???
Anyway, that's me tossing some of my favorite fictional characters into one of my favorite fictional worlds! Honestly, I feel like the characters wouldn't be too different in another universe; both shows have a very dark, chaotic undertone, although one of them is far more family friendly...
Thanks for the ask, Anon!! This was really fun to think about.
