My Feelings Were Not Great On September To October (And My Thoughts About Yandere Simulator)

[Note: Mature Readers/Audiences Only For This...also besides wanting to give my thoughts about the whole Yandere Simulator thing, I also have other stuff I want to talk about as well. also reading this is optional, so don't have to read this if you don't want to.]

I needed a bit more time, and well I did plan to sign back on around Monday and Tuesday of September like I said, but stuff happen...

I also decided to take a bit more time away, and yeah during those times I did work on some of my fanfics during that time.

also I have been kind of praying that the whole Yandere Simulator will be picked up by another game developers, because of the certain reasons....

I think that Yandere Dev, needs some time away to not just self reflect, but also heal.....there are some stuff I wrote that talks about the certain situation, which I had wrote some days ago this month...and well I think I could save it for later, you know....show those thoughts and feelings that have to do with the situation.

I'm not happy with some people who are only making the matter worse, and should understand that both parties are at fault.

and yeah, I hate the fact that he did do that, but if some people bothered to read his posts over at the place where it also mentions about the pause/hiatus of the game, they would understand the situation a bit better.....one of the things that I had prayed for, before he had announced he would be away...

is that he would take some time away and if I remember correctly, to heal and not make that same mistake again....which I'm pretty sure the stuff I wrote that I have saved [but not in the drafts here.]

is that I had prayed for him.....and well, he might learn from such a mistake, that ya can't just treat some gals as one of the guys.

and yeah, I'm peeved off at that girl....because in a logical view of the whole mess, she shouldn't of talked with him in the first place or thought he had feelings for her that go beyond platonic.

and even if it is different, it reminds me of a cousin of mine...

which once again, the situation is very different....

but it's just the way they acted that was so annoying and I suppose frustrating, my cousin had some kind of ego when it came to them believing all of those who were of the opposite gender wanted them and showed some kind of interest to them....

and yeah, it bug me so much at some point I ended up yelling at them.

once again, what happen then and the current situation of that mess where both parties are at fault, are two different and separate matters.

and yeah, there are some other stuff that has happen that made me feel not really all that happy....which makes me glad I'm Neo-Spiritual, well that is if some Toxic-Religious jerks don't end up ruining that for me and well, hopefully they don't....

I guess being Neo-Spiritual can have different meanings for anyone.

like yeah I'm a Defective Earth Angel, who still needs to stop procrastinating about that whole blood type test thing.

and yeah, I think the song "Born Without A Heart" by Faouzia...

fit the feelings that I feel at times....

and the feeling of wanting to punch Archangel Samael...

I don't care if I am not very tall, and I might not be very strong and well, when it comes to the whole mana and magic that could be in the human body, and even those with RH Negative and Positive blood type can have different levels of magic in them...

I guess it is possible I might be the weakest of Earth Angels.

and well I do use my gem bracelets to not just protect me from certain energies from people.....but I also use them as sealing charms and limiters......cause my being a bit paranoid when it comes to not wanting to end up like Carrie White from the Carrie Movie series, and even Alessa Gillespie from Silent Hill....

and well, even if I might be the weakest of Earth Angels,

I think praying for a dream-catcher to act as a shield and barrier for my room and keep working even when I have to leave my room, is one of the good things......and well, yeah the reason I had to use that dream-catcher again, even after having to take it down before was because of well some stuff that I wont get into right now...

but I have that dream-catcher hanging outside my room's door.

the reason for this, is so it can not only form a protective shield and barrier, to which I had prayed for by having it be on the door, wall, ceiling, floor and even at some of the windows.

the reason being is that.....I had a second close call, and yeah just like the first first close call there was the color gray....

but unlike the first one, it was a bit longer and I had to run...

and well there was this old man and even a woman who I think, protected me in a way.....I can't remember the old man's face, and I never saw the woman's face, but she had very long white hair, and I think she had pale skin.

I also have another dream-catcher that I am using over at my bed, so yeah, extra protection when I sleep.

it is possible that toxic-lust energy can be dangerous for some who have different type of empathic abilities.

even if you might not feel every feeling of other people, but there are some energies they put off that might be dangerous to you.

and as for some babies and children, I believe it can cause them seizures, and yeah it can also come from a place with a lot of bad energy, and it wouldn't just be a lot of people in a very large room that will end up causing the seizure to happen....

not like some doctors will fully accept that there are some epilepsy that can't be explain through science alone and they can be misdiagnosed.

anyway, it might be bad to live in the same place of residence of someone who even though isn't really a bad person, but may give off way too much toxic-lust energy, which can at times place someone who is sleeping into a trance and cause them to dream-walk.

it could be possible the dream-self that one sees, is not the real them that has the toxic-lust energy, but a toxic-lust manifestation energy given form, to look like the person it is coming from.

and even though I'm not sure if it would work for everyone, but it is still best to protect yourself from that.

I'm keeping that dream-catcher on my door, and I'm not going to take it down....because it is for my own safety and protection when I sleep.

it is best to recognize that dream-walking is happening, and that it needs to be stop if it is caused by some form of dangerous toxic energy from someone who might not be a bad person, but because of some stuff that goes on with them...it is best to use dream-catchers and gems to protect yourself.

not everyone has to believe that, but I can't taking any chances.

I didn't think I would end up having a second close call so soon, and I'm keeping that dream-catcher on my door.

I can't tell my family why it needs to be there, I can't tell them about the first and second close calls when I was sleeping.

I know I wrote about it in my diary, of course even I know I'm not gonna say all the stuff I wrote in my diary....

and well today, I didn't write something very VERY personal in it, something I know I can't talk about with my family.

I know I mention about being Fictoromantic & Aroaceflux, and the whole talking about there are Heteroromantic-Aces.

and well, even though I don't want to give everything away from that diary, I will say this.....even if some might not think it is possible.

but it could be possible to be scared straight, even when not being send to those disgusting inhuman filth camps, or as they are better known as Conversion Camps.

I knew someone, from when I was really little, who was around the same age as me when I was little, who had ended up getting a small crush, not on me of course......but they had showed a small sign of being biromantic.

I remember a bit of that time, what scared them in not talking about the small crush that had accord, and the reasons why they never came out about it, was because of something that had happen that caused them to not talk about it, and over time they only got crushes on those of the opposite gender.

but even if being "scared straight" is more fact than fiction, the certain feelings don't really go away....even if it might seem that way.

what happens is that it is locked away in a type of box, like a small chest that has chains and heart shaped locks around it, not to keep it in to try to deny it, but to protect it.

because not everyone is as lucky to have family and friends or others to try to fully understand them and accept them, even if they show signs of a different type of romantic identity before they became a teenager.

even if not everyone gets "scared straight" and it might not really be a type of way that you just become straight, but it's like getting so scared you have to lock that part of yourself away, not because you wanted to, I mean you did but it was because of bad experiences.

you created that chest in your heart, well it's more of a ethereal heart.

and you put the protective chains around it as well as the heart shaped locks. which that whole chest being inside of you think, reminds me of a Anime that has to do with this girl and a jerky boy.

even if ya have family that is all straight, and even have a misunderstanding about Asexuality and you might not feel like you can try to correct them by saying there are in fact some Aces who are Gay and some who are Straight...

like I pointed out, I wanted to come out being Aceflux but I wanted to get my family's thoughts about Asexuality first.....

and well I did, and once I did hear them I had ended up acting like it wasn't about me and I made sure to put on a type of mask, you know to hide your true feelings type of mask.

and well once I was in my room, I let all the bad feelings out and let myself cry.....yeah, I don't feel ready to talk to them about it again.

maybe sometime I can try to tell them that there are some people in this world who are both straight and ace, but I don't feel ready to do that right now.

I also think whenever I feel really sad at times, I can try to do my own way of emotional healing, like listening to music, watching a movie or show I like and even doing some reading, and if I feel up to it, playing some video games.

which I finally beat Mass Effect 3 even if it was the Legendary version, but I chose the Green Ending....

I'm not going to have my first win in one of the endings of that Mass Effect 3 game, be the other two endings....

also it is still possible to keep both the Geth and Quarian alive in that part of the game, you just have to make sure to do certain things in the game and not just go fight the Reaper on their home planet right away, doing that is a big mistake, and you cannot do that first....

Mass Effect Legendary might be a blessing, it has the DLC stuff already on it, and I'm glad that I saved that one Quarian Guy I forgot the name of, and didn't go for his team.....because if I left him behind it would of ended up having to choose between the Geth and Quarian.

anyway I hope things do get better, and well not just because of the situation that has to do with Yandere Dev, and if I have to pray more for him then I will, and I see the whole him saying he is taking some time away as a sign that prayer I made before came true.

I know there are the other stuff that was talked about that I had read before, and it really is possible that girl and what others are saying isn't the only reason why he needs time away.

I guess there can be some people who are mostly neutral, and I'm not even sure there are very many who understands both sides are at fault....

and yeah, my thoughts are if things were different and it was some guy who was actually the type of thing that some people are saying that Yandere Dev was, then yeah it is possible I would be fully on the side of that girl.....but it is also possible some are milking that messed up situation way too much.

also if someone older is being flirted with by someone who is younger, they can't just be quiet about it because they want to be nice about it and not get them mad at them...

that can be one of the parts that plays a misunderstanding, it is best to tell them not to flirt with you and plus even though the mistake is to use certain jokes that goes on between the conversation, it can possibly be misinterpreted...

even if I only know very little about the situation and only know from the posts that ended up talking about it up to the point where it is announced that the game will be on pause and well we can also view it on a hiatus.

but it makes me wish that girl had never talked with him, yes he is still at fault but at least he feels sorry and some form of regret of what happen.

and I'm not gonna give up on him or stop praying for him to not make that same mistake, I want to protect him from those types of mistakes.

and perhaps I should pray that girl doesn't make that same mistake again either, I don't think I really know her name, but even if I do find out about it, I wont say it on here or any other place.

even though some guys do treat some girls as one of the guys, they need to be careful with some words when they talk to a girl buddies.

some girls can take things way too literal, and well it can be possible with some guys.

it isn't just a problem with some girls, and yeah it can be possible that loneliness can possibly play a part for some girls and ebirls to do stupid mistakes and being at fault.

I think the reason why I fell for the wrong type of guys before who are now ex-boyfriends, even if they are only online boyfriends and never met them in real life but are still real people...

might have to do with my loneliness and possibly from certain energies I was picking up.

I know I am at fault for trusting them, even more foolish for trusting a certain one I shouldn't of.

even if they had a strange fetish that had to do with clothes, and I know that it had made me uncomfortable and even if I'm glad I don't remember much about them, but I know that it was my mistake in not saying that I didn't feel comfortable about it.

also if anyone is confused about the word Enbirl, it has to do with Nonbinary-Girl.

also it can be possible that there are different types of empathic stuff that humans go through, and not all of them will be the same.

and yeah, emotional healing is a must for anyone who had went through some stuff that might of really emotionally hurt them.

and yeah as weird as I can be, and I know it isn't possible.

but I still might have thoughts of wanting to punch Archangel Samael.

even if it is just thoughts and I know it isn't really possible to do so.

plus ya can't really prove that he is Cain's Dad, and yeah there is the whole being Cain's descendant, but I and others are also Seth's descendants as well...

and yeah, I'm still gonna stick to my new view about Cain and Abel, and how there is more to that story and how both brothers are at fault.

and yeah if Abel even tried that with my fluffy baby, I would possibly go feral earth angel on him, maybe I could just slap him silly.

Cain would possibly need a time in a corner and emotional healing himself, we can't just keep viewing him as always been evil.

the harmful stuff inside him, had been part of the reason he broke past a very dangerous breaking point.

and Adam & Eve were possibly bad at parenting, while at the same time being a little good at it, so it is possible they were gray-parents.

gray-parents are the type of parents who are in between being bad and good parents I think.

like Greg Universe who we find out from re-watching the first seasons of Steven Universe and even in Steven Universe Future, that he is a Gray-Parent.

I can still like Greg, but I have accept the fact that his parenting of Steven wasn't 100% good, and I love both the original series and the future series and some might can relate to Steven even if it is in a different way.

just like how some fans of RWBY can relate to Ruby Rose, and even some fans can relate a bit to Chara from Undertale.

we can have different characters from a show, video game, movie and book series that we can relate to...

and some might even relate to Blitzo from Helluva Boss, or even relate to both him and Fizz....

and even if the episode where Mammon is suppose to appear in might be a while, I got to say that his design is awesome.

and yeah, I still have the thoughts at times of calling dibs on Mammon's butt, which is different from Millie's dibs on Moxxie's butt.

but it's like has to do with how greed can go from the normal to the toxic, and it causing some coca-cola to have their price to be raised.

and once again, Mammon was the first guy I had thoughts about punching in the groin....

of course I had figured out I can't drink too much coca-cola cause it causes certain problems...

I think it was when the price for coca-cola was back to normal, when I notice it was causing me some problems and I had to stop drinking it for a while, and the problem was fixed.

when I can I can drink it again, but I'm going to take it easy on it.

doesn't change my mind about wanting to punch Mammon below the belt and calling dibs on his butt.

even if such a thing isn't possible and might never happen.

but I know I have grown really tired of how the masculine energy is.

even if the feminine energy has a bit of toxic and negative energy in it, but it isn't as high or as dangerous as the toxic and negative energy in the masculine energy.

anyway, the toxic masculine energy can be mixed with toxic-lust energy and it could be in some toxic feminine energy as well.

that second close call I had, that said happen when I was sleeping, it had lasted a bit longer than the first one.

and I'm going to make sure to keep that dream-catcher on my door, to protect me.

also those who are the ones who give off toxic-lust energy, they need to fix that problem, because that energy is freaking dangerous.

I mean if those two were real, I would feel a lot safer around Fizz and Ozzie from Helluva Boss...

I believe that those who are sensitive to some energies, can be in some form of danger from toxic-lust energy from another person.

and in theory, the stronger the toxic-lust energy, the more likely it will be picked up by you when you sleep and place you into a type of trance, so slightly different from what some succubus do.

like some info about a succubus is that they can put their target into a trance, but this isn't the case for this weird defective earth angel.

I know that I might never be 100% like other Earth Angels, even if it does turn out that not all Earth Angels who are also Humans, have RH Negative Blood.

I'm still procrastinating in checking to see if my blood type will come out O RH D Negative for a third time.

not really looking forward to the needle, and the feeling I got a few times when checking my blood type....but I learned while having help with it from family, it is best for me to keep my eyes closed.

I'm not even sure if it is a phobia of blood, so it could be a different reason.

anyway, I know that not everyone will try to understand that both parties are at fault when it comes to that situation that happen before the Yandere Simulator game had to be put on pause and we can view it as a hiatus.

I'm going to make sure to keep praying when I can, for Yandere Dev to not make the same mistake and also take as much time away to heal.

because it isn't just that mess that happen which is the reason he needs time to heal.

I'm not giving up on him, and I believe that he does feel sorry for what happen, but I am not happy that he talked with that girl, and I wish that mess never happen.

but hopefully both him and her, have learned from it and wont make the same mistake again.

I still love the Yandere Simulator Game, and if a new game developers have to pick up the story and continue it, we will have to accept that if it comes down to that, and the new game developers become adoptive parents to it, even when Yandere Dev is still given Credit.

there can be different forms of not forgiving and forgiving someone.

one of the things about forgiveness is that it can't be forced, and at least one side or both need to understand what they did that caused the harm in the first place.

like even if someone tells you not forgiving is a type of sin, but isn't trying to force someone into forgiving when they might need time, just a bit wrong...?

I might not be super smart, and yeah at times some stuff I say gets misinterpreted and it can end up hurting my feelings.

but I don't think it is right to just force forgiveness, there might need to be some kind of process before that can happen.

and besides that whole mess, there was other stuff that made me feel not so great...

and it having to do with the stuff that is going on at the other side of the world...

I guess it's like too many bad feelings...

and of course there is the whole having to place all videos and screenshots from my Xbox to a type of storage device because of a certain info that pop up on it.

and if I hadn't found out during that time when I had signed on it, I would of been really peeved.

lucky I had made it on time and figured out how to place some of them into a storage device that will be for media use and well the other thing I figured out was that I had to go to the Xbox store and download a certain app that is for media.

also when it comes to the whole stuff that went down that has to do with Yandere Dev and that Girl.....I rather not bring this up any time soon, and rather wait to post the original thoughts and feelings that have to do with it...

both sides are still at fault, and I hope that girl will stay as far away from him, and if I have to try to pray for that then I will do my best to do so.

in a way, it is possible they both ended up hurting each other.

and they both need to reflect on their actions in different ways.

I also know that not everyone who takes either his or her side, will agree about my view that both of those two are at fault.

like I said before, I'm not going to give up on him and I'm going to make sure to pray and hope he never falls into that type of situation again, even if he made a mistake that crossed a line which ended up having some get some terrible misunderstandings about him.

but so long as he doesn't make that same mistake, it should be fine.

and there are reasons why I'm mad at that girl, one of them being that she would be at the age to know better than to pull that slag.

but hopefully both sides will stay away from each other, cause that mess was frag up and I still wish it didn't happen...

also even if not everyone can believe that some non-straight feelings can happen before you become a teen, not everyone has to believe that.

but it can be possible, but the whole scared straight thing wouldn't mean you just become straight from something that scared you to the point of staying inside the closet.

but I think it's like placing the part of yourself in a box and placing chains around it with heart shaped locks on it.

it might not make sense to some, but that is the best way I can explain it.

when humans start out as kids, they start out with just romantic cute type of crushes for those they get crushes on.

the whole sexuality wont come until much later on...

plus being Aroace or Aroaceflux can be different for some, and there can be some people who don't start out as Aroace or Aroaceflux but might become that way later on.

I have crushes before, but at the moment I have no interest in getting into a romantic relationship with any real life humans, even if I end up meeting them online.

maybe I should write down a list as reasons what I find not attractive.

let's see, one of them being how some humans treat Aces, and let's see the Toxic-Hypers*xual is really not attractive at all.

Toxic-Masculinity is not very attractive, so there is that.

I hope that I don't have another panic attack like I did in 2015, even though I might of been close to having another one this year...

because once again it happen in a car, but this time I think I had better control of it.

I think that I still might have a type of Semi-Androphobia.

and at times some thoughts pop into my head, which might of started this year or last year.

whenever I'm in the kitchen and a male family member comes into that same room, even if they aren't really bad, but the thoughts "don't touch me." pops into my head.

I guess I can still trust some males, even if some are family.

well I can't trust one that is still technically family, but with the messed up stuff that he has done, I can't trust him and he needs to stay away.

I think some who have Androphobia and some with Gynophobia, some can have it far worse, so my slight phobia might not be as bad which is why I view it as a semi type.

and I believe that the panic attack I had in 2015, which ended up having me hit my head on the ceiling of the car...

was because of men and the thought of the dangerous situations.

even if not all guys are like that, but there are some who you need to be careful around.

also, I think self healing can possibly help even if for some it can take a bit longer than most days of needing it.

it might not be easy to get to the same type of feelings of happy that one use to feel until they were hurt past the breaking point.

and I know the best thing I can do, is hold onto the happy feelings I still have inside of me even if they might not be as strong as they use to.

having two depressions pretty much sucks, and falling into one after becoming better not too long ago from the first one....

that can pretty much super suck.

it doesn't help that Covid-19 happen.....and even some stuff that is happening now.

if I was allowed to, and if it were possible.....

I would still want to punch Archangel Samael....well him and Lucifer.

anyway I know that not everyone will possibly read this anyway.

and yeah even if it does talk about some other stuff, besides the Yandere Simulator game and the messed up stuff that happen.

but I hope there will be others who will end up working on the game, but would have to ask Yandere Dev first, and he would need to give them the okay and permission.

at least this isn't like the time I believed some fake news about Scott Cawthon being dead....you do NOT put a fake news about that.

and if I hadn't decided to click on it, I would of still believed it was true.

dirty slagging jerk who started that fake news joke had crossed a line.

anyway there is another post I want to do that has to do with a weird dream I had that has to do with Husk from Hazbin Hotel.

once again, even if not everyone has to agree with my point of view about my finding that both parties are at fault, do not misinterpret my thoughts and feelings about it.

and the best thing for those two are to reflect, do some self healing and never make the same mistake like that mess again.

also even if I had ended up in a sad mood, I think I'm okay now.

well there is that stuff that is going on that doesn't make me happy, and one of them being having to do with stuff that is going on the other side of the world.

and sorry if this ended up super long, but hopefully in the next post after this one, I wont end up making it super long.

Nina and Clockwork get on like a house on fire.

Nina spends most of her time with Doby and Toby so she NEEEDS a gal pal and honestly? I think Clocky would be the best fit for her.

Yeah Jane is cool and nice but their mutual grudge against Jeff would probably get in the way at times.

Clocky however doesn't have much of a grudge against the guy. She doesn't like him however but that's mostly because Jane doesn't either.

These two need to go to hot topic together NOWWW.

Nina's got the soft pastel emo look going for her and Clock is just Aggressively Bisexual. They fit in so well.

Nina's button collection vs Clock's snapback collection so true.

They like having 'girl's nights' that consist of doing each other's hair, painting their nails, and watching horror movies.

Clock is a BIIIIIG fan of horror movies, especially classic horror like Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Friday The Thirteenth and Saw. Nina gets scared of some of them though, and she can't stand gore, but she really really enjoys found footage horror movies. Blair Witch and [REC] are a couple of her favorites.

They also watch a lot of anime together! Clock is a total weeb. She likes action, horror and mecha anime especially! Nina is more into magical girls, slice of life/comedy, romance and drama. It can be hard for them to agree on a show to watch sometimes, but both of them are BIG Tokyo Mew Mew fans. Clock watched it growing up and it was lowkey her trans awakening.

OH YEAH both of them are mtf! Another thing to bond over <3 they're very supportive of each other too.

Mall trips are very common! They like browsing, trying on dumb outfits and making fun of random people they see.

They also like to pick out cute outfits for each other to wear. Nina is very fashionable. Clocky not so much, but she tries her best.

They have friendship bracelets!! They made them together out of kandi. Nina's is black and pink, Clocky's is green and white.

Nina likes buying her friends gifts as well as doing things for them. Nina would buy Clocky jewelry, some shirts and probably a pocket watch <3

Dorothea: Oh, hello Raphael. What can I do for you?

Raphael: Yeah. I carved our class symbol on it. Do you like it?

Dorothea: It’s quite lovely. Did you make this?

Raphael: Huh? Why not?

Raphael: Wonder what she meant. Maybe she doesn’t like pendants? I could make turn it into a bracelet instead. Or maybe some earrings? But first… gotta fuel my creative muscles with some food!

Dorothea: He made one for everyone? Ah, well… Oh dear. *speaking to herself* It appears I’ve misjudged him. I need to find him and apologize.

Dorothea: I meant saving me on the battlefield. I might have been killed if you hadn’t come when you did.

Raphael: Oh, that. Don’t sweat it. We’re friends, right? And friends look out for each other. Next time, you can protect me!

Dorothea: Speaking of, I also owe you an apology.

Raphael: *looking confused* What for?

Dorothea: A while ago, you offered me a pendant. I rejected it because I thought it was a courting gift.

Raphael: *blushes* W-what?

Dorothea: I’m so sorry. It’s just – men don’t usually offer me trinkets like that unless they want a certain something in return. But the healer who helped me was wearing an identical piece. He explained that you made one for everyone in our class, including the Professor.

Raphael: Yeah. I thought it’d be cool if we all had one as a team symbol. I mean, I know we all wear academy uniforms, but I figured it’d be nice to have something just for our class, you know? Plus, that way, we’ll all have something to remember our time together once we graduate.

Dorothea: What an excellent idea! I’m sorry I misunderstood your intensions.

Raphael: Aw, don’t give it another thought.

Dorothea: You wouldn’t still happen to have it, would you?

Raphael: Yeah, I’ve got it right here! Except, I thought maybe you didn’t want it because you liked other kinds of jewelry instead, so I also made a bracelet and some earrings too.

Dorothea: *laughs* Well would you look it that! They’re all so beautiful. May I have them?

Raphael: Sure!

Dorothea: And in return, perhaps you’d join me for tea? If we’re to be proper friends, then I’d like to get to know you better.

Dorothea: Well look at you! You’re a knight now?

Raphael: Yep! Ever since my parents died, I wanted to become a knight so that I could take care of my little sister. It’s been a long road, but we’re finally in a good place where we don’t have to struggle anymore. As long as I continue to work hard, I won’t every have to worry bout my sis going hungry.

Dorothea: That’s very admirable of you, Raphael. *whispering to herself* And if I’m honest, it very attractive.

Raphael: What’s that?

Dorothea: Oh nothing. *pauses* I was just thinking that I may have made yet another grave mistake regarding you.

Raphael: What do you mean?

Dorothea: Well, you see, for a long time, I’ve been looking for a suitable partner to share my life with, one who ensure both my happiness and survival. But, rather unfortunately I admit, I limited my prospects to those who come from wealth and high standing because they would be in the best position to take care of me for the rest of my days. As such, I discounted individuals such as yourself, who work hard every day for the ones you live, and are – above all – kind and honorable, more so that any noble I’ve ever dealt with.

Raphael: Um, thanks… I think? I’m not sure I know what you’re saying. But if you’re worried about the future, you can always come stay with me and my sister. We’re thinking about opening an inn someday. When we do, you can come stay any time you like. And I promise I’ll always take care of you, just like I do with my little sis.

Dorothea: *blushing* Well, perhaps not quite the same as your sister. But, thank you Raphael. It’s nice to know I have a friend who’s willing to look out for me.

Paired Ending:

Raphael returned to his hometown to serve his liege lord as a knight, and spent his spare time helping out at the inn that his family had opened during his time away. Members of the Mittelfrank Opera Company lodged and performed at the inn whenever they were in town, and Dorothea became a favorite guest, eventually retiring from the opera and moving into the inn. Raphael tirelessly ran the inn while Dorothea drew nightly crowds with her singing, making it huge success. Some claim that they were married in a modest ceremony, as neither had another partner and Dorothea was always seen wearing Raphael’s homemade jewelry but regardless, all records agree that they were lifelong friends, living together in happiness and wanting for nothing.

Ack, sorry for the lateness I saved most of these answers in my drafts but kept forgetting to post 'em after awhile, my bad >>;

💗~(RosaPrym)~💜

Is the most affectionate: Ooh Prym, most definitely~ while Rosie would eventually soften up a bit more after getting comfy in a relationship, she'd still be on the lowkey huffy/uptight side when it comes to showing affection (not that Prym minds, respecting her girls' boundaries and such uwu)

Their most common argument: Early on in their school days they always liked to try to outdo one another in alot of subjects (magic, academics, theater production, etc.), which once they get together would be alot more on the lowkey side given how much they've grown up since then. Regardless they'll still make up pretty fine after awhile though~ 💜

Nicknames for each other: "Rosie", "Rosebud", "Rosie Posie", "Ro", "Princess", "Darling", "Dearest", "Sweet Pea",... yeah there's a whole arsenal of 'em between these gals, lemme tell ya lol

Who initiates kisses: Prym, though if Rosie's feeling especially "bold" enough she'll probably sneak in a quick one before a big mission or something ;p

Who kisses the hardest: Rosabel can't even begin to count the amount of times Prym's lipstick stuck to her mouth right before a big work day xD

Who said I love you first: Surprisingly enough, Rosabel! After years of angsting, lingering on her feelings and just generally missing Prym after she's left for her traveling Mage duties... it wouldn't take much for her to finally blurt out her emotions by the time they'd inevitably reunite

Who whispers inappropriate things in the other’s ear during inappropriate times: Sneaky lil lady she is, Prym wouldn't miss the opportunity to liven up the mood via-telling all sorts of dirty jokes between the both of them (especially since Rosie herself has such an adorkable lil laugh on top of that)

Who’s the better cook: Rosabel was never really allowed around the kitchen thanks to her parents (whom always deemed it "too unfitting of a lady" for her to not let other servants cook for her), so Prym would most likely take over cooking duties at first. Rosabel always did want to try it though, especially since she still had memories of her dear Nana cooking the most delectable homecooked meals in her childhood~

Who wakes up to calm the baby: Both girls would take turns, given their natural soft spots for kids (especially Rosie :3)

Their favorite non-sexual activity: Performing in theater, bonding over some old literature, having lil picnic tea parties near the gardens outside, and so on~

1 sad headcanon about this couple: Rosabel often had to fight internally about her own feelings of jealousy and guilt seeing Prym with other love interests (Dantae Litayla in their first year, then Jada Ito in their third year). While not outwardly spiteful towards these pairs, with it combined to what she was dealing with at home... it just made Rosabel close herself off from Prym for awhile to not hurt her feelings (much to Prym's own confusion/worry that she might've done something wrong... as even through all their rivalry, she still considered Rosie a dear friend at-heart :c)

1 sugary-sweet headcanon about this couple: One of Prym's first presents to Rosabel as her girlfriend would be a fancy rose gold bracelet with charms of a rose and moon-shape (to represent them both as a couple :3)

Is the most affectionate: Tula's the most fluffy lil bean with practically anybody, including her big huff butt of a boyfriend~ ;p

Their most common argument: Hmmm... they probably wouldn't argue that much on their own tbh (at least not over anything too serious). Moreso its just over matters of Tula wishing Elas would loosen up a bit from having to be so worked-up and responsible over everyone (future king or not)

Who initiates kisses: Tula~ 🧡

Who kisses the hardest: Hmmmm, it'd depend but if Elas is feeling confident enough, he's got a good "fiery" side of his own~ ;p

Who wakes up to calm the baby: Elas would totally be one to be extra-protective of their baby early-on (having the royal medical team on speed-dial if anything were to come amiss), with Tula being right there to try and reassure him while comforting their lil one that its all okay

Their favorite non-sexual activity: Reading and Writing~ its been one of Elas' past times to vent out some of his stresses through this and Tula's always been a creative one since school, so together they'd probably have alot of fun making up their own lil novel to enjoy themselves uwu

1 sad headcanon about this couple: Knowing his father's unlucky history in love, Elas can't help but wonder sometimes if a similar fate would befall him the more he gets closer to Tula (hence some of his "tenseness" in getting too attached in relationships)

Dash: [shouldn’t LOVE that for you but I do, we should probably let y’all go on your tour then because we’re both in a mood and there’s nobody to separate you]

Lux: [probably, but I will insist on making you wait ‘til midnight regardless]

Dash: [it is a fat mood and I did pick that time deliberately so yeah, dance the night away first hens]

Lux: [Hmm, do we go with the Cinderella and have her bounce or do we go against it and not, because then she would think he wasn’t a dick later]

This drawing took forever to complete, but I am pretty satisfied with how it turned out. The first version is one without shading and second is it the one with shading added. (The quality is better if you click on it.) I came up with the idea after rewatching the old Justice Ducks’s episode, as well as being imspired by DT17’s “Let’s get Dangerous!” special and listening to the classic Og teen Titans theme on repeat also sparked a lot of imagination. The only outfits I didn’t come up with are Lena’s, Boyd’s and Louie’s which already exist the show. I thought about each kids’s strengths and personalities when designing the other costumes as well what kind of powers/roles they would play and what kinda relationship they would have with their super mentors for this au.

• First up we have everyone’s favorite sassy magical teen, Lena. Her magical girl type outfit is what used for her hero costume. I tried my best to get the colors right so I hope it looks good. Lena’s role on the team is The Magical Brawler, with her using magical energy blasts, as well as allusions and brute force to defeat her opponents. She also doesn’t have a hero name like the others and just goes by Lena. (This is mostly because her magic protects her secret identity or something.) She and Quiverwing are the snarkiest towards the villains, especially if their evil plans are really stupid.

• She acts as a cool older sister figure to other kids on the team and is one of the most proactive on the team, with her answer to fighting a villain usually being “let’s beat them up” which can sometimes land her into trouble if she’s not careful. She’s very protective of Webby and Her younger (adopted) sister, Violet. So word to the wise evil doers, do not under any circumstances attack/harm either girl or you will be in a world of agonizing magical pain.

• Being oldest on the team as well as one of the most pessimistic/emotionally guarded at times, she tends to be a little more jaded to the whole hero worship thing the other kids have going towards The Justice Ducks. Her mentor/teacher is technically Morgana Macawber. In the beginning she was very distrustful towards the older magic user due to the woman’s past actions as a villain, as well as Lena’s own hang up’s with Magica. However, She eventually warms up to the sorceress after she sees how while having questionable morals at times, is still a good person who genuinely cares about her and Vi as not only her students/sidekicks, but her surrogate kids as well. (Morgana definitely joins the ‘these aren’t technically my kids, but I’m adopting them. You can’t stop me club.’)

• After that, their relationship starts to get better, but Lena still has her more rebellious impulses which causes her to be a bit more difficult when interacting with her mentor. She will argue with her about things like “Seriously! Why should it matter if my magic is still ‘developing’?! I can totally handle my Own magic, thank you very much! Now let’s stop gabbing and take down this creep before he overruns the whole city!” (Stuff like that.)

• Let’s move on to Webby or as she’s better known in the crime fighting world, Gummi Gal! So, it was a little difficult to figure out what kinda hero she would be, but after i decided to go with combining her spy training with her gummi juice powers, from “From the confidential files from agent 22” everything else just clicked. (Please note that I’m vaguely familiar with original gummi bears, I’m going off of ducktales 17 interpretation of it so if I get anything wrong, that’s why.)

• First let’s talk about the costume. I wanted to give her something that showed her personality as both a trained combat and espionage expert, as well as a excitable sweet munchkin who loves glitter and friendship bracelets. I based the colors off her regular pallet and added the cherry red parts to allude back to the gummi berry juice. The costume is made from super rubbery stretchy protective material either invented by S.H.U.S.H, prier or Team science to keep our super adorable rubber ball of death safe from villains when her gummi powers wear off, while also giving her a boost in battle while trying to beat up said baddies. Her red bow is the same material as the outfit, I gave her a pink mask, cause that’s her favorite color (also I wanted her to have a different mask color from Gosalyn and Huey.) and her utility belt is filled with other gadgets as well extra vials of juice in cases of emergencies. Not to mentioned she finally got her own Action Cane and still has her trusty grappling hook if things get too crazy.

• Webby’s role in the team is definitely combative close ranged fighter and The Heart of The Team. She’s already a beast in hand to hand combat, but when she drinks her gummi berry juice, she becomes a unstoppable springy force of power and agility, that can really give the villains a headache. She’s the most encouraging and affectionate on team always giving her fellow teammates hugs or high fives whenever she can. Her biggest weakness has to be her willingness to trust people at their word, being a little naive to harsh truths of the world cause she wants to see the good in others. She’s a badass, but an idealistic at her core and just wants to make the world a more happier place.

• Webby’s hero mentor is the Moon’s greatest warrior, Penumbra. Penny is at first confused by Small Della’s odd abilities, but adapts pretty quickly. They train a lot together and Penny teaches the young earther tricks she picked up from living on the moon where the gravity is very different from earth. This helps Webby get better at controlling where she wants to bounce when using her powers. Penny is pretty protective of all of the small Dellas and will be pretty aggressive towards those who try to harm them.

• Huey was easy I just made him updated version of his Gizmoduck costume with more of an emphasis of protection and practicality. I decided to give him a mask underneath his visor, because I believe he would definitely wear it as an extra precaution so villains don’t figure out his secret identity. (Even though it’s pretty obvious who these kids are, if you’re any paying attention.) I added a magnetic electro pulse glove blaster (sorry if the science doesn’t make much sense.) as well as magnetic boots, so he can better stay on Boyd’s back in battle and flight. (I was mostly inspired by Hiro from big hero 6 for that.)

• He uses the blaster to send magnetic frequency waves at his enemies. He can also grab things from a distance as a nod to his safety first mindset. His role on the team is occasionally the leader (there’s a bit of conflict with that issue.) and most importantly the thing he prides himself on, The Strategist. He’s great at analyzing situations and coming up with strategies, but can still over think things to his detriment. He clashes the most with Louie on the team as he feels his brother isn’t taking his role very seriously and Gosalyn as she not the best team player. He still looks up to Gizmoduck as his mentor, which drives him to prove himself as a competent leader and crime fighter in his hero’s eyes. Finally his hero name I think would either be Pulse or Gizmokid. Mostly I’m leaning on Pulse, cause I think it distinguishes him from Giz and let’s him make a name for himself as a hero in his own right, not just stuck in someone else’s shadow. (Though the bad guys will probably just call him, Gizmobrat to spite him.)

• (With Boyd I had trouble with getting his coloring just right so if it looks off, that’s why.) Boyd is the technically the youngest on the team in both appearance and mentality. He’s a sweet precious totally real boy that everyone instantly loves...well almost everyone. Louie, is at first a little heistent to be around him, but knows what happened at Doofus’s party wasn’t his fault so doesn’t hold it against him. He’s one of the easiest to trick out of the whole team which makes prime target for scheming villains to mess with. However, don’t underestimate this little powerhouse or you’ll regret it. He’s closest with Huey, with him being the first real friend the little tyke has ever known. (Dr. Gearloose is more of a parental figure then anything.) They can often be seen coming up with plans or just having fun learning stuff together. His hero mentor is Gizmoduck as well, but he also quickly warms up to Gandra. (who may or not be a anti hero in this au.)

• Gosalyn’s/Quiverwing’s costume was little harder to figure out. I kept going back and forth from a modern vs classic look, until I finally settled on a compromise that felt right. I do wish I made the cape more like Darkwing’s and drew a more modern looking bow, but other then that I think it came out pretty good. Her logo I’m especially proud of. Her role on the team is definitely the sharp shooter archer and weapons expert. I like to think she’s kinda like what if Batgirl was a archer. She likes to come up new weapons and gadgets to use on the bad guys. She’s the second oldest after Lena, making her also an older sister figure to the younger kids. Her mentor is Darkwing Duck, she loves being his crime fighting partner, but wishes she get more chances to really show her stuff and not be babied all the time by her guardian. This causes her to be one of the first kids to disobey the adult heroes when they say to stay out of something. Like that will stop her.

• Dewey was the hardest when designing what kinda hero he would be. At first, I thought of giving him a magical legendary sword that could change forms depending on what was needed, sorta as a way to mirror Dewey’s creativity and ever changing interests. However, I also felt he shouldn’t need to be ‘chosen’ by something to be a hero, so now the sword is actually something that he had to have create himself, but it also happens to be a magical shape-shifting weapon?.... (honestly if anyone has any better ideas, please help me, I totally except suggestions.)

• I gave him a costume similar to his God of Dance/Champ Popular personas with a blue Darkwing inspired cape. (Admit it, Dewey you actually love the show!) I added some protective chest armor, also gave him a angel wings and stars motif. His hero name if haven’t already guessed is Daring Dew. His role on the team is kinda the wild card/funny guy as well as a lancer to the more focused sometimes leader, Pulse. If I had to give an example of his role then probably something similar to beast boy from Og teen Titans or The flash from the justice league. He’s usually the first one to try and lighten the mood when something goes wrong, but he has his moments of Insecurites that causes him to doubt himself.

• He’s unique case as he doesn’t really have a official heroic mentor and just kinds bounces around from person to person depending on the day. Not that anyone dislikes the kid, but because he just finds them all so cool that he can’t pick one. (Basically, you know how your favorite avenger changes every week, it’s kinda like that.) He gets along best with Darkwing though and is kinda like his unofficial second sidekick. However, he does love spending time training with The Duck Avenger. He does seem familiar though, he just doesn’t know how. Hymmm. I wonder why.......

• Violet was also a tough one. Do I go with tech based weaponry, superpowers, space themed or magic? Nonetheless, I decided to combine her junior woodchuck survival skills and her magical quick study abilities to make her sorta of Magical Green lantern with an alchemist twist. I wanted to give her own way to do magic without having to use Lena’s powers or Magica’s emulet as a crutch. Her book on her belt is an ancient spell book filled with mystical runes and incantations that she uses to create magical contructs like weapons to battle her opponents. I gave her a teal green cloak, (mostly cause I was inspired by OG raven Teen Titans) a teal mask to hide her identity, light teal gloves and a rune turquoise stone that help channel her own magical abilities when she using her spell book.

• For her hero name I kinda like Light Saber (Disney technically owns Star Wars, so they could use the name.) or Guidelight (kinda like play on her junior woodchuck guide book.)

• Violet is the supernatural expert and living encyclopedia of the team. Something tells me she would do extensive research on all the justice Ducks’s known villains and would keep record of all of the info she gathered on the subjects. I have a headcanon that after “Let’s Get Dangerous” happened in this universe she would watch hours upon of the old darkwing Duck show while taking notes to better understand the full extent of the fearsome four’s backgrounds and abilities. Morgana, like Lena is also her hero mentor. They get along pretty well. She loves learning new spells from older sorceress who is more then happy to help the other with her knowledge on the subject.

• finally last, but never least, Louie! First off I drew him in his simple green hoodie with a dress shirt and tie. (Kid is pretty lazy when it comes to heroic theatrics.) His role on the team is The schemer and self proclaimed, Young Justice Ducks manager. Louie doesn’t really go by any alias and doesn’t wear a mask, cause in his mind there’s not much of point since no one really take them seriously anyways. They’re the kiddie sidekicks club in a lot of people’s eyes, so they don’t get much media attention compared to their mentors.

• If he’s not ‘training’ with his mentor, Storkules, or just hanging out with his teammates, then he’s scamming villains out of their stolen loot or finding new ways to try and get the Young Justice Ducks name out there. He probably takes the whole being a hero thing the least seriously out of everyone on the team, mostly because the adults are always their to save the day and take all the fire, so why not focus on building a solid following and use their obscurity to their advantage against the villains. ( To be honest I really couldn’t figure out what kinda hero he would be. I think maybe later on he could regain his godly gold touch powers, though much more limited this time with them being on a timer of or something. If anyone has any better ideas for him, please send them my way)

Wonder Woman 1984 Couldn’t Save the Story

I’ve been looking forward to the sequel to 2017’s Wonder Woman since the film ended with Wonder Woman herself leaping from the top of a building and soaring into the credits. So when it was announced that Wonder Woman 1984 was going to be available on HBO Max Christmas Day, I went to bed each night with visions of indestructible bracelets dancing in my head.

Then it finally arrived. Christmas. WW84.

My wife and I settled into the couch with a bucket of Cherry Coke, a cornucopia of candy, and two obnoxious bowls of fresh popped popcorn soaked in butter. It was the movie-going experience I had been missing this year.

I love Wonder Woman. I didn’t grow up on the source material. I grew up on Lynda Carter. Reruns of the campy Wonder Woman TV show, which originally ran from 1975–1979 were a favorite of mine as a little kid. Not only was it an entertaining show for a preschooler in the eighties with the jumping and bullet-blocking and running, but I was also in love with Lynda Carter both as Diana Prince and Wonder Woman.

You see—sounding all Freudian alarms—my mother is a brunette and, from what I could tell at that young age, she could do anything and everything, so I grew up likening my mom to the Amazonian goddess. I also thought any pretty lady with brown hair was my mom including the woman on the Sun-Maid raisins box. (Despite my mother being a beauty queen and model—just like Lynda Carter—the real Sun-Maid Girl died at age 90 two months before I turned four.) From my vantage point, my mom was completely capable of saving the day and harvesting yummy raisins. A true wonder woman.

I wasn’t a big reader of the Wonder Woman comics. Blame that on my time as a boy in 1984. Wonder Woman comics didn’t make their way to me and by the time I was old enough to choose my own reads, I was too deep into graphic novels about the Vietnam War, X-Men comics, and other Marvel titles. But I always knew Diana’s story and powers, and recognized her as one of the most powerful characters to grace the pages of comic books.

Settled into the couch, we hit play and HBO Max glowed to life to give me the Christmas gift I’d been waiting months for.

The opening scene set the tone. A thrilling action scene showcasing the abilities of Diana’s people back on Themyscira. It dropped a few hints of what challenges Diana/Wonder Woman might face and the lessons she will learn or be reminded of. Good opening. And then the film fell apart and Christmas was ruined.

Nah, Christmas was fine, but Wonder Woman 1984 was a disappointment. And not as much for me as for Diana and Wonder Woman. And for actor Gal Gadot. She was robbed of an interesting story. There is no character development in WW84 for our hero. Diana is in the exact same place as she was at the end of the first film. She picks up a few new abilities along the way, but one, like flying in an invisible jet felt like director/writer/producer Patty Jenkins was force feeding me a MacGuffin only to throw it away after I agreed to swallow it. Flight is a big thing in this film but Wonder Woman learning to master it seemed wasteful as I was convinced she was learning to fly based on the way the first film ended. That’s on me.

When we left Wonder Woman in the first film, she was heartbroken for Steve Trevor (Chris Pine). When we meet her again in 1984, some seventy years after his death, she still pines for him. (See what I did there?) By the end, she’s the same. Closed off, unwilling or unable to open herself up to people, most notably to people who could love her and she could love in return. This, despite that Steve tells her that’s a stupid thing to do—remain closed off. When he comes back to life through a wish, he is filled with a zest for life, a chance to experience something again. Pine plays Steve with an almost childlike wonder and it’s fun to watch.

They missed an incredible opportunity to build an interesting story tying in time, the struggle and pain of being ageless—timeless. Maybe that’s how Steve comes back. He exists in a tear in time. What is the hardship of a god living among men? Not her challenging duty but her struggle.

And why 1984? For the fashion jokes? The nukes? Missed opportunity there. Especially since the year is in the title.

Kristin Wiig is great. She’s surprising as she anchors her Ghostbusters (2016) character into Barbara Minerva/Cheetah. But I wanted more form her relationship with Diana. When Barbara wishes to be like Diana, “Sexy, cool… special,” there’s a chance for her to also face the backlash of being an ageless goddess. That opportunity was dampened when Barbara cartoonishly chooses to become a full baddy. But you can’t blame Barbara, she was written that way.

Everything was written as a MacGuffin. One little thing to get us to the big moment with the big baddy—a Donald Trump-ish huckster played by Pedro Pascal. Pascal as Max Lord at first is a slimey but sympathetic character. That quickly devolves into him being a super-duper bad guy bent on world domination that overcorrects in heightening the stakes. The manner in which he goes about dominating the world is trite but also is based on a lazy Orwellian approach to what technology would be like in 1984. It gives the sense that the film was written during Lynda Carter’s heyday where 1984 still seemed futuristic.

There’s so much opportunity squandered. Diana/Wonder Woman is an ageless goddess with a lonely heart and incredible powers. How does one live like that? In the first film, Diana is learning what it means to be human. This film could have had her learning what it means to be a god among humans. Instead, the character is a pawn. She’s not driven by anything. And that’s what gets me.

Diana could be relatable. Make her the troubled messiah. She lives among us so long, she longs or struggles to be like us. And maybe losing her power—the unknown risk she takes when Steve comes back—is attractive to her so she can live and love. And if they had to bring back Chris Cline, the could have dipped into the mystique and magic of Diana’s world. Something more than a silly wish. Something more interesting that pushes Diana to face new internal struggles while working to defeat the external forces of evil.

The film sets itself up as movie that’ll deal with time. There’s a date in the title. But why 1984? For the nukes? For the broadcast Max Lord needs to tap into? For the fanny pack jokes? Jenkins and Co. could have given the theme a little more oompf by leaning into their own ideas of time and address the hardships a an ageless, nearly all powerful goddess faces. Instead, we get a joke about modern public art being trash and a WWI watch coming to life because… because the ghost of the man who owned it has come back from the beyond. Two completely unrelated things. But they didn’t have to be.

The film takes its time with the wrong beats. There are many big moments, often in the middle of the action, where Wonder Woman’s face is the focus. The only takeaway from these slowed down moments of intensity are for the sake of empowerment. And, okay, fine. That’s cool. I get it. Wonder Woman is empowering. The movie, however, is not empowering. It’s a vehicle that reduces Wonder Woman to a physically strong woman who does not develop as an individual. She’s the most dimensional inspiring cinematic female character since the offensive Captain Marvel.

Time proves to be a major influencer in the film in the way it’s wasted. When they have to fly to Cairo, they do so by stealing a jet that Diana has access to thanks to her job at the museum, and allegedly will face no consequences for hoarking a fighter jet for personal reasons. Regardless… They have to get from Washington D.C. to Cairo, a trip of just over 5,000 nautical miles. A modern Boeing 747 can fly 8,255 nautical miles on a full tank of gas. A fighter jet with a smaller tank would likely need every last drop and the wind at their backs the entire time to make the tip without refueling or plummeting into the ocean. Instead of being concerned with that, Steve and Diana choose that time to have their romantic scene. Flips and tricks and dawdling through a Fourth of July fireworks show. And why was Steve surprised by the fireworks and it being July 4th? He just arrived in a new body the day before. He certainly checked the date on a newspaper or heard something on the radio or a TV. And the Fourth of July was already a holiday before he was killed in World War I.

These gripes would be nitpicking if they weren’t so easily remedied by giving the main character an actual story arc.

Wonder Woman 1984 was a fine superhero movie. Far from the best (Captain America: Civil War). Better than the worst (Justice League). It had its share of fun action moments, but even in an action film, the action must be secondary to the story.

After watching the film, we turned on the old TV show. There’s not much character development there either. But it’s a 1970s network television procedural. It’s meant to be campy. And it was more than enough.

Following the three-hour Lynda Carter bender, I realized that you could totally edit scenes in WW84 to make a trailer about a woman who takes care of, then falls in love with, a mentally handicapped man. And that would be a great story to tell. Wonder Woman with Hollywood blockbuster money behind her deserves something interesting.

ACT ONE

SCENE FIVE

(REMINGTON and JAY are still seated at the living room table. REMINGTON is leaning forward with his elbows on the table and his head in his hands, bored. JAY is leaning back in his chair, staring at the ceiling, frustrated.)

REMINGTON

I can’t do it. All the voices are too loud, and the “Joyce” one is quiet as shit. It’s like, I‘m listening for “Joyce”, right, but out of nowhere another voice is like “Birds!” and I’m all like “Fuck!”

JAY

(fed up, without looking at REMINGTON)

Try again. It might help if you say “Joyce” along with the voice.

REMINGTON

Can’t you demonstrate? I really won‘t judge.

JAY

(still not looking at REMINGTON)

No.

REMINGTON

C’mon, just take off your little ring there — I’m guessing that’s the accessory you use and just...do your magic.

JAY

No.

(REMINGTON lets her head fall onto the table, exasperated. Jay lifts up a foot and is about to kick her hair when REMINGTON suddenly raises her head again.)

REMINGTON

Were you about to kick my hair?

JAY

Maybe. Maybe not.

REMINGTON

Better have been maybe not. My hair is my best feature. You should get it. I mean, you have lots of good features — like girl, you’re fucking hot — but your hair is pristine.

JAY

Thanks?

REMINGTON

You know what I don’t get?

JAY

(lowering her foot)

A lot of things.

REMINGTON

(ignoring JAY)

Why animals attack me. Is that…normal? I get that it was the sign I needed help with this, but…

JAY

You’re not special. Animals sense the “perfection” in us. In the whole several-human-reincarnations-in-a-row thing. Stay away from zoos.

REMINGTON

Hm. Come on, show me how to do the thing —

JAY

(betrayed)

No!

REMINGTON

Please! I’m really stupid. You’re smart and beautiful and experienced in this and beautiful. I’ll owe you one. Plus, your sugar daddy Dr. Morello’s gonna be pissed if we spent all this time sitting here and accomplished nada.

JAY

Oh, God, please never string those words together in that order again —

REMINGTON

And then he’ll dock your pay from nothing to less than nothing.

JAY

Oh, that makes so much sense. How would he be a hypothetical sugar daddy if he doesn’t pay me? That’s the opposite —

REMINGTON

Do you want your nonexistent salary to suffer, you sadistic bastard?

JAY

If I do it, will you stop talking?

REMINGTON

Probably will.

(JAY takes off her ring and places it on the table. The moment it leaves her hand, she winces.)

JAY

(in pain)

Aghh!

REMINGTON

(shocked)

Shit. Do I call 911?

JAY

(forcefully)

No. Just...watch this. Focus...

(pauses)

Here, this voice’s word is Clara...and then...say the word if it helps...

(pauses, gripping the table with both hands)

(With a painful movement, JAY grabs her ring. The moment she touches it, she relaxes.)

JAY

You’re welcome for that. Don’t fucking say a word.

(pauses)

Janette!/Remy fuckin’ Ratatouille!

(DR. MORELLO immediately notices JAY’s ring and REMINGTON’s bracelet on the table. He grabs JAY’s ring and shoves it in her hand. DAISY takes REMINGTON’s bracelet and does the same. JAY instantly snaps out of her trance.)

JAY

Holy —! God! Remington!

(pushing REMINGTON off of her. REMINGTON stumbles a little, almost falling off the table.)

REMINGTON

Shit!

JAY

What the hell was that?

(JAY quickly slips the ring onto her finger, evidently very embarrassed. REMINGTON regains her footing.)

REMINGTON

Eh, who cares. Let’s pick up where they left off —

DR. MORELLO/DAISY/JAY

No!

DR. MORELLO

Remington! Jay! Get down from the table immediately. Sit down!

REMINGTON

(noticing DR. MORELLO and DAISY for the first time)

Oh, shit. Hello. Sorry.

(REMINGTON and JAY make their way down back to their chairs. DAISY nudges DR. MORELLO.)

DAISY

See, I hate to say “I told you so”, but I told you so.

DR. MORELLO

Kids, what happened here?

(There’s a pause.)

REMINGTON

I think we got possessed. By dead lesbians.

DR. MORELLO

Oh.

REMINGTON

The word is most definitely Joyce now though. She’s, uh, she’s got Joyce.

JAY

You know how one of my voices is, uh, named Joyce? And how her word is Clara? She’s Clara.

REMINGTON

I guess Joyce and Clara knew each other back in the day...both in the literal and, uh, biblical sense...

DR. MORELLO

There’s really no need for profane hand motions. Go on.

REMINGTON

And then, well, we ended up in a situation when both of our accessories were off —

JAY

You mean your accessory was off and then you slapped mine out of my hand.

REMINGTON

Clara slapped it out of your hand. Anyway, then we got possessed.

DR. MORELLO

Okay.

REMINGTON

Yeah. Um...what do your big doctor brains think about that?

DR. MORELLO

I...I have never seen anything like this before...but I’m guessing the explanation is actually quite simple.

JAY/REMINGTON

What?

DR. MORELLO

The word a voice says is its most recurring thought manifesting itself as an imprint on the soul. Now, a person has to be quite important to someone if they’re, quite literally, all they think about. And for that to be something going both ways...these ladies certainly had an exceptional bond.

DAISY

Star-crossed gal pals.

DR. MORELLO

Yes. Soulmates, if you will.

JAY

Hold up. “Soulmates” as in Clara and Joyce were just one in a billion, or “soulmates” as in my soul and Remington’s soul?

DR. MORELLO

We have no way of knowing right now, but from what I think — well, this is quite a rare case, especially the fact that an echo of a previous life was able to take over the current host...I’d conclude that, yes, you are “soul-mates”, quite literally.

REMINGTON

So! How ‘bout it, eh, soulmate?

JAY

(ignoring REMINGTON)

That can’t be a real thing, can it?

REMINGTON

Only one way to find out!

DR. MORELLO

Now, seeing as you have actually uncovered some important information, you may have recreational time for the rest of the evening. I need to look deeper into this. Uh, there’s some video games in the cabinet. I’ll be in my office upstairs. Also, I was going to come in here to let you know we’re having pizza for dinner. It should be coming in half an hour.

DAISY

And I made sugar cookies.

(DR. MORELLO leaves dizzily. He looks like he has a headache.)

REMINGTON

Swell! Some quality soulmate time?

JAY

Someone get her away from me.

(DAISY looks back and forth from JAY to REMINGTON. She’s a smart kid. She knows when she should leave people alone.)

REMINGTON

Oh, I get it. You’re too good for me.

DAISY

I’m...gonna head out.

(DAISY exits.)

JAY

Listen, kid, you don’t know shit about me. I don’t know shit about you. It’s better if it stays that way. I don’t know what he’s talking about with this soulmate shit, but I do know that you don’t want to get involved with me and my life.

REMINGTON

Oh, ha. ’Cause you’ve got some kind of “issues”?

(JAY is silent.)

REMINGTON

Wow. Damn, I didn’t know someone could be this angsty in real life. With your wearing-all-black deal and e-girl hair and ear piercings and shit? Ooh, I bet you pierced them yourself with, like, the finger bone of a shark you strangled or something.

JAY

Sharks don’t have fucking fingers. And no; I got them pierced at a mall Claire’s when I was 11.

REMINGTON

(finding this funny)

Off brand, but okay —

JAY

Yeah. Fucking loved Claire’s. Still do. What about it?

(There’s a pause.)

REMINGTON

(quietly)

Nothing. Claire’s is valid. You’re a lady of fine taste.

(REMINGTON and JAY are silent for a moment.)

REMINGTON

They called our bodies “hideous”. Did you hear that?

JAY

Yeah, that was uncalled for.

(They both chuckle a bit awkwardly.)

REMINGTON

Sorry for earlier. It was my fault.

JAY

(tensing back up)

Yeah, it was.

REMINGTON

You could’ve told me listening to your voices...hurt.

(pauses)

How does that even work?

JAY

Didn’t tell you ‘cause I knew you’d ask that.

(pauses, before sighing)

I’m...in a peculiar situation. See, once the voices started to manifest in my soul’s earlier hosts, they...joined groups, or organizations. Similar to this one, but more serious. Cult-ish, almost. They’d dedicate their shitty lives to preserving the goodness of the soul to continue the line of human hosts. One organization like that a good half of my voices was involved with — it was large and thriving and would track down new hosts.

REMINGTON

That’s cool, but why does that...cause pain?

JAY

See, look past the single word a voice presents itself as and you “unlock” the memories of that person. Over time, the more you listen to them, the more they become an interactive collection of memories — almost a voice that reacts to your thoughts.

REMINGTON

So you can talk to them?

JAY

I guess.

REMINGTON

Wack.

(pauses)

Still don’t get why that causes pain.

JAY

We’re humans. We’ve got a limited view of morality that’s shaped by our society. Our perception of “good” or “bad” is probably different than what ultimately is considered by the universe as “good” enough to give a soul a human life. And...some of my voices have views of good or bad that are...incredibly outdated.

REMINGTON

(knowingly, slyly)

Ohhhh.

JAY

What?

REMINGTON

Your voices probably tell you to...ah...hee hee.

JAY

(more frustrated)

What?

REMINGTON

To, ah,

(pauses)
