Dreamed this morning about a sort of commitment ritual for 2 people where each of them would bring a particular liquid (either some kind of water, some kind of oil or some kind of alcohol) and they would both pour their liquids into a spherical glass vessel. Then a bone they had selected ahead of time would be placed inside and the vessel would be sealed.

Both the completed vessel and the ritual itself were referred to as The Bone and the people who had created The Bone together would then use it to divine their future together by shaking it up and interpreting the way the bone and liquids inside interacted. They would be expected to consult The Bone for any large decisions they made as a couple.
