#.txt #also I have to do a movie pitch for it bitch it's an amv with intentionally one dimensional characters 😭 tf do I even say about it #at least the characters are like. knockoff jaime and tommen so its almost like im drawing asoiaf fanart #unfortunately I've come to hate them. the knockoffs I mean #I wanna change the designs a bit so they dont resemble my blorbos as much. i think im gonna give the kid darker hair #ok well discount jaime just looks like him with 2 hands and a blue cape 💀and I cant change him atp #my worst mistake was giving him like. a solid metal skirt armor thing bc its a pain in the ass to animate #at the start of the year I had the most work done out of everyone how did this happen #its bc they started nitpicking the story and I kinda lost motivation to work on it lke this shit is stupid. and cringe #by they I mean the extra screenwriting teachers we had a couple lessons with which like. this is an animation course not a writing course #I'd get it if it was like. a full time school but we have 2 3 hour classes a week we dont have time for this shit man #ig my mistake was that my idea didn't start from the story it started from the song I wanted to make a cool music video for it #its not that the story is nonsensical or anything its just a very basic fairytale esque thing nothing groundbreaking #'but you're not SAYING anything with this' I'm not trying to omg just let me make my little amv :(#does everything need a plot twist or to subvert expectations is it not enough that it looks cool #there's a couple people who are worse off than me in terms of how much they've done but also theres a couple that are nearly done #looking at them like god I wish that were me.....#and also I think I accidentally overwrote a shot I worked on for 3 hours. killing myself #maybe I can restore a previous version but its on the school computer and the school is closed for a week so im not gonna know until then

anyway dc x dp is my new fixation hell and i've had so many ideas for aus but one that's really sticking with me is a classic "danny has to run away to gotham because his home is no longer safe" au where danny is explicitly looking for other ghosts or at the very least is pulled to gotham because there are so many of them there.

he flies around for a while and finds this manor and he can sense so many nice ghosts! so he just. goes there! and stays! and this can be human danny showing up at their door injured or it can be ghost danny just flying in but regardless, the waynes would never turn him away. bruce would get suspicious absolutely, but he's seen enough traumatized abused kids to know the signs. thomas and martha? they think this new ghost kid is adorable!!

there could be angst sure but idk i love the idea of danny getting hurt by his parents or the giw and being so wary of more humans, and this place full of friendly ghosts would be so enticing. ghosts that don't try to immediately wreck his shit? ghosts that get territorial but are also extremely welcoming and have a habit of letting new kids into their haunt? the batfam who've dealt with the paranormal before and wouldn't give a shit? that's a normal tuesday for them babes. like please, danny just found heaven and it's in gotham.

despite all the "batfam adopts danny" aus i've seen, i rarely see people mention the ghosts of dead family members who would absolutely still be there and would definitely want to help danny :(

I bought the entire baldurs series and both modern divinity games. I know it’s on sale please, please stop emailing me I can’t afford it. Yes I know it’s 70% off. I understand I promise, I’m really wanting to commission someone and I have bills to pay. I need to pay off my wheelchair so I can leave my apartment, I can’t afford silly chiptunes rn.

and i did notice that and i was extremely amused by it, albeit a little horrified with how easy i am to read/know that some of these are deep cuts to have it apply to some of the older blorbos. congrats!

(i did not make it easy with horton in the mix– he was a nostalgia pick that came back to prominence so he is a bit more off base in comparison to the others who at least have... connecting themes? or is at the very least guided by more modern blorbo sensibilities.)

You know what's half upsetting half pretty funny? There's this song I absolutely love and I've always wanted to put it in a character playlist, but it is just so bleak that I've never been able to justify putting it in a character playlist. Keep in mind I have a playlist for Anton Shudder, the guy who is so depressed he can turn it into a literal physical weapon. He's like the king of bleakness but the song was just too bleak. Well, I've finally found a character whose playlist I can put that song into -- and it's a fucking TFP character. I checked the song, counted all the lines in it (44) and all the lines out of those that don't fit him (9). As a percentage that means that 80% of the lyrics of one of the bleakest songs I know fit a guy from a show I watched when I was 11. Life is absurd.

no no, i literally just wrote down that they were drinking a refreshing glass of lemon juice. it's juice, right, made from lemons! like orange juice, sort of, kind of. nothing to see here, this seems fine! 🍋✨

(now, if my brain had been turned on at the time of writing, i would have known that isn't right, but it took me a few times reading over the fic to suddenly go, uh, wait. no. these poor fictional characters.)
