How???? Did you? Give them lemon juice??? Out of confusion on either lemonade type??? Did you say unsweetened lemonade??? Help

no no, i literally just wrote down that they were drinking a refreshing glass of lemon juice. it's juice, right, made from lemons! like orange juice, sort of, kind of. nothing to see here, this seems fine! 🍋✨

(now, if my brain had been turned on at the time of writing, i would have known that isn't right, but it took me a few times reading over the fic to suddenly go, uh, wait. no. these poor fictional characters.)

#in truth this may well have been more of a case of Writer Asleep At The Wheel than Writer Lacks American-ness #but the latter is such a frequent factor in english as a second language fic writing life that it can never fully be discounted #or. maybe even just fic writing life as a non-american. i'm sure there are plenty of first language english speakers frequently going ??#over word choice and spelling for their us american blorbos. i see you. i feel you #*#ask #anon
