This season of LITG has so far been so good. I wonder what happened that forced them to push the update a week… because it’s clear this “meet the OG girls�� was slapped together in the matter of hours and thrown up on the app. If you haven’t played it yet and want to know if it’s worth it….it’s not. We already know what all of the girls look like and the girls don’t really say anything new or interesting.

Here’s the gist of what all of the girls said..

Estelle: Alex isn’t the type of guy she normally goes for but she wants to try something new and she thinks he’s hot.. she can’t tell right now if just friendship vibes or more and she doesn’t wanna lock things in too early like Daphne and Raf. She thinks they come off looking forced. She loves all of the girls but Willow is her bestie… she mentioned asking alex about sharing a bed. I mean it’s a given on love island especially as an og, we’ve never asked to share a bed with someone so I thought that was weird.

Daphne: poor girl, she would benefit from some acupuncture and micellar water... I felt her reasoning for going after Cassius was actually so real. This is love island you’re supposed to explore your connections and attractions and for her to explore it with Cassius and see she didn’t feel anything I think is part of the process. What I found to be possibly the only interesting thing any of the of girls said was when she was talking about Alex she mentioned that he’s Raf’s bestie and that he would redo her kitchen cabinets but then she gets flirty and blushes and says “That’s not the only reason I like him” EXCUSE ME?!? 🤔👀 I wonder if they’re going to explore this at all or if this was just a random thing they added in to this super rushed update. I guess we’ll see.

Willow: she says she needed a break and her and Bryson aren’t really vibing. I’m sorry to the Bryson girlies but I get what she means, I kind of felt like he was a little annoying and it’s the reason why I couldn’t jump on his route 😬🫣 anywayyy Willow says she normally goes for business bros but it seems like it doesn’t matter what type of guy both types sucked, so she’s hoping for a new bombshell. Is it just me or isn’t Willow perfectly coded to have a friends to lovers type route with MC like a more new and improved Angie route??? Really hope they do bc the wlw routes def need some work. As for the other guys she thinks alex is a hottie, Joyo is gonna take her diving and eek she said it looked like Raf wasn’t that interested in Daphne before they left for casa.

Geri: I’m sorry but immediately I couldn’t focus on anything because they gave her the tiniest hands ever and it somehow makes her head also look bigger. Look at this pic of her and Daphne. Look at the hands!! The poor girls proportions are all off.

Ok ok back to what was said.. her connection to Joyo seems super physical and not much else. The things they have in common are all of the many places they’d want to bone and coffee. Basically she’s unsure of where her couple stands right before casa. She thinks Estelle and Alex are great for other people. She doesn’t seem them vibing or going very far. Daphne and Raf she thinks are vibing hard and she would be shocked if he twisted! This made me think if you’re on the Raf route she might be your enemy but on the Alex route she might be more friendly towards you. (I really hope they explore that) as everyone else has said Bryson is too much of a flirt that it’s hard to tell how he actually feels. She feels like there’s a spark missing with both Joyo and Bryson. She thinks every girl but Daphne is going to twist!! But she mentions we can’t forget history could repeat itself and Daphne could end up twisting too. It would actually be exciting if they had all of the girls twist too BUT I’m thinking that, that would mean no more bombshells for the rest of the season because we would be getting four new boys at once. I doubt they would throw more bombshells in for an already shortened season.

Someone was screaming.

This time you could tell it was a woman. The scream was coming from somewhere behind you. You turn, confused and slightly annoyed. It was your mother. She looked terrified. You were staring up at her, reaching your arms out for her and frowning when she took a step back. She wasn’t looking at you though. She was looking at something behind you. You turn around then, eyes searching for whatever has your mother so freaked out.

Oh right.

There on the ground lay your babysitter. You couldn’t remember her name, you think it was something like Lily? Lauren? Anyway, that didn’t matter currently. No, what mattered was that she was very much not moving and alarmingly pale. It's then that you realize you can taste blood. You bring your hands to wipe your mouth and notice they’re covered in blood along with your shirt. You lick your lips, confirming that your mouth is also covered in blood, and find yourself surprised when the taste doesn’t make you nauseous.

You tentatively crouch down by her body noticing the small bite mark on her neck that’s got a bit of blood smeared around it, but it’s not bleeding. You poke her arm, getting progressively more freaked out by her lack of movement. You're turned around by strong hands, coming face to face with your father. He’s saying something but his words feel so far away. You start crying, the gravity of what's happened finally hitting you.

You know the two of you were watching something a few moments ago. And then you remember being starved. And then you had just…bitten her neck. You remember the feeling of your teeth digging into her flesh, the way her blood had gushed into your mouth and your hunger had slowly left. It had tasted so good. And you had been so, so hungry.

You had killed her.

You wake with a start, gasping as you half sit up. You don’t make it very far however thanks to the tight restraints around your wrists. You tug frantically at them, your panic from whatever hellscape of a nightmare you had just had being made oh so much worse by the idea of being tied down to a hospital bed. You’re so busy freaking the fuck out that you didn’t notice James until he’s right in front of you, gently squeezing your shoulder and offering you a sympathetic smile.

“Hey, hey. Deep breaths hon. You’re okay.” He soothes.

“What- Where am I? Whats-Whats going on? What happened?” you question.

“Woah, woah, slow down bestie. I’ll explain everything in a moment you just need to calm down a bit if you can yeah?” he says.

You manage to take a few breaths and lay back against the bed. You close your eyes, taking one last shuddering breath before opening your eyes and staring at James expectantly. He scoots his chair closer and sighs.

“What’s the last thing you remember?” he asks.

“I…I was uhm….I was in the woods I think? I was crying I remember that… and then someone yelled I think and then I remember being in a fuck ton of pain in my chest. That’s the last thing I remember.” You explain.

He nods and hums at that before continuing, “Yeah uh, so you were attacked. You were pretty close to uhm to-“ he chokes up at that shaking his head.

“You uh you almost died. And uh you’ve been-you’ve been in a coma for like two weeks now. Larissa was here every day actually. She was camped out in your room the whole time, I don’t think I’ve ever seen her so frazzled-“

“She was here every day?” you ask, your voice much more fragile than you wanted it to be.

“I know you two got into an argument the night you got uh…attacked. I don’t know what it was about but I’m sure you two can work it out. I mean she was really worried about you, would barely leave your side the whole time. She isn’t even upset that you bit her-“

“What?” you interrupted.

“It’s really no biggie babes. I mean I’m a little miffed you didn’t tell me you were a vampire but if you hadn’t even told Larissa about it-“ he explains.

“I-What?” you so eloquently repeat. “I'm not a- What the fuck do you mean I bit Larissa?? Is she okay? What the fuck is going on here James???”

He pauses for a moment, staring at you as he connects the dots. He squints at your very obviously freaked the fuck out expression before he mutters a drawn-out ‘oh.’

“You didn’t know you were a vampire before I just told you, did you?” he asks.

“I’m not a fucking vampire dude! Surely I would fucking know-“ You stop, suddenly remembering the dream you had.

It had felt so real and so familiar. You had thought it was just a really shitty and vivid recurring nightmare but now you weren’t so sure. But surely there would have been physical signs? You sure as shit didn’t have fangs. And you didn’t drink blood. Although you did like your steak borderline raw and as bloody as it could be. And you remember Yoko saying something about you smelling weird. Holy fuck were you actually a vampire?? How the fuck hadn’t you known? How the fuck had you survived without drinking blood for as long as you had?? What-

“I honestly know very little about this whole thing. I’m sure Larissa and your three kids will have answers for you when they get here. But yeah babes, turns out you’re not as boring as we all thought.” He grins

You very lamely flip him off, the restraints around your wrist making it hard to do so. The two of you sit in silence for a bit as you sift through the mess your brain is in. Eventually you sigh, flopping back against the hospital bed and staring up at the ceiling.

“So I bit Larissa huh?” you murmur.

“Yeah, the doctors said it was probably just your body’s reaction to waking up after having blood for the first time in years. They said it was almost like bloodlust? Luckily your girlfriend is one strong woman so she managed to throw you off soon after the shock had happened, and then shortly after the doctor arrived and sedated you.” He says.

“I don’t know that she’s my girlfriend anymore.” You mutter, closing your eyes against the nausea and fresh wave of tears.

“Don’t say that babes, she understands it wasn’t your fault. The only reason she’s not here right now is because they’re stitching her up and making sure she’s alright. She wasn’t even remotely upset with you.”

You simply shake your head at his words. His reassurances are sweet and you are confused about why she would have been visiting you every day if she truly hated you. But a large part of you keeps replaying her words from that night on repeat. You know you’re not the ‘hyde’ she had spoken of, that much was clear now, but you weren’t human. You had attacked her after she had been kind enough to stay by your side. And you couldn’t be sure you hadn’t killed or attacked anyone else. If your lovely resurfaced memory was anything to go by you had certainly killed at least one person. Did that not make you every bit the monster Larissa had accused you of being? Were you not the monster she thought you were?

You're broken from your endless spiral of misery by the sound of the door to your room being opened. Your gaze snaps towards the sound, finding none other than Larissa standing in the doorway. Her eyes are scanning you over, brimming with tears as she rushes towards you. You flinch at her sudden closeness, doing your best to sink back into the thin hospital mattress. Your eyes land on the bandage wrapped around her neck. It covers a fucking huge area and is slightly dark from blood. Your heart squeezes painfully in your chest at the sight, knowing that you’re the one who hurt her. She reaches your side and reaches out to touch your arm, frowning when you rather poorly wriggle away.

“Darling…?” she questions, a hurt look crossing her face.

“I don’t- I don’t want to hurt you again please-“ you let out, your voice wavering.

“Darling I’m fine it wasn’t your- what on earth…?” she mutters, her gaze fixed on your hand that is tied down at your side.

Her expression quickly morphs from concern to anger, her whole body going rigid. She swears under her breath before shooting you a soft smile and saying she’ll be right back. She then exits the room rather quickly leading you and James to share a look of confusion. The confusion is soon answered by Larissa’s angry yell from the hallway outside. You then witness a very heated conversation between her and who you assume is a doctor during which Larissa angrily gestures towards you.

“She’ll be returning to Nevermore with me so that she can receive the help she actually needs. If she goes to whatever institution you plan on sending her not only will that be removing her from the place and people she knows but you’ll almost certainly be locking her up like some kind of criminal? Absolutely not. She is leaving with me and that’s final.” Larissa hisses.

“Miss Weems, with all due respect, she did attack-“ the doctor tries.

“No, she was attacked. And truly thank you for everything you did to keep her alive. But I am taking her home with me today and that is final.” She utters, levelling the poor doctor with a look that would make the strongest person wither and die.

The two exchange a few more words before the doctor leaves. Larissa stands there for a moment, her posture softening as she takes a deep breath. She then comes back into the room, her severe expression softening further. She comes back to your side opting not to touch you and instead resting her hand on the rail of your bed.

“The doctors sorting out a few more things and then you’ll be free to go. I-If you would like you are more than welcome to stay at Nevermore. Not-Not with me of course. I just- It may help to be around other outcasts and there are a few other vampires who may be able to help you with your situation.” She explains, not making eye contact with you and instead focusing intently on the floor.

“I can just go home if it would be easier-“ you murmur.

“I would rather you stay with me- with us at Nevermore. If that’s alright with you?” she asks.

“I think you should go to Nevermore,” James butts in, “It would give me peace of mind knowing you’re not all on your own.”

You nod, agreeing that it would probably be best if you had some help figuring out what you should do going forward now that you know you’re a vampire. And it would seem the students at Nevermore knew a fair bit more about your condition than you did. Larissa seemed relieved by your answer, her shoulders relaxing. James left a few minutes later, saying he was going to pick up some stuff from your place and would bring it round to Nevermore later.

A little while later a nurse comes in, undoing your restraints and explaining what your recovery process should entail. Larissa seems to be paying keen attention to what she’s saying, asking questions that you know you should be paying more attention to. Honestly, you’re feeling far too overwhelmed and tired to listen to what she’s talking about. Your head actually hurts trying to process everything that you’ve learned in the last hour.

You snap back to the present when Larissa gently touches your shoulder, telling you that you’re leaving. You sit up, absentmindedly rubbing at your aching wrists. You turn to stand, swinging your legs to hang over the side of the bed. You attempt to stand up, keyword attempt. The moment you put some of your weight on your feet you all but collapse. Luckily Larissa is there and she catches you, her arms wrapping around your waist and making your stomach flip. You stare up at her, your heart somehow both racing and aching terribly at the same time.

The nurse brings round a wheelchair, explaining that this sort of thing is very normal in patients who’ve been bedridden for as long as you have. She says something about you being back to normal in a few days, simply needing your body to readjust to everything. Larissa gently squeezes your hand, thanking her for all her help before wheeling you away.

You don’t know what the fuck has happened in the last two weeks. You don’t know how you’ve been a vampire your whole fucking life and had no clue. Suffice to say, you don’t know much. But you do know that even after everything that’s happened, you still love Larissa Weems. And you’re willing to do whatever it takes to make things right between you.

Your recovery was going well, all things considered. You had been out of the hospital and at Nevermore for about a week now. The day after Larissa had brought you back from the hospital you were introduced to Coach Vlad, apparently, not only was he rather skilled in physical therapy but was also a very old vampire. He had essentially taken you under his wing so to speak, telling you an awful lot about vampire history and teaching you about where most vamps got their blood from, how much they needed each day and all that.

Yoko, Enid and Wednesday had taken to visiting you in the evenings. The first night they had explained everything they knew and how they found it out. You were slightly disturbed Wednesday had been keeping such close tabs on you but were ultimately grateful. Yoko had explained that she had only ever heard of the practice you had been subjected to and was quite horrified it still happened in this day and age.

When they had left you then spent the night laying in your rather godddamn comfortable bed staring up at the ceiling as you essentially screamed internally. You were quite honestly flipping the fuck out. You kept asking yourself how you had missed it. How you could have possibly gone for so long not having any fucking clue. And that led to questions like how much your parents knew. They had to know you were a vampire and they had to have been the ones to…well try and change you to be more ‘normal.’ And if that wasn’t an extra large dose of parental trauma to add to the ever-growing list. What fun times.

You had booked an appointment with Dr. Kinbott the next morning.

You were currently deep in conversation with Vlad, taking a walk around campus to get your legs working again. You were taking a break in the quad when you turned just a bit too far and ended up wincing as the scars on your chest throbbed. Ever the attentive friend Vlad immediately checked you over and started asking a million questions.

“Vlad, I’m fine its just the scars. No big deal.” You huffed.

“Hmm, your healing should get better overtime. You have been without blood for a very long time. I’ll chat to Mari and see if she can’t whip up something with those plants of hers,” he comments.

“Mari?”

“Yeah, that’s what most of us call Marilyn. She’s a bit odd that one but a great teacher.” He hums.

“Oh…OHHH. OH wow, I am serving hella dyslexic right now. Oh my god.”

“I’ve been exposed to your silly words for a week now and yet you still come up with things that confuse the shit out of me,” he sighs.

“I thought you spelt her name like Mary – Lin. This whole time. I look dyslexic as fuck right now.”

“…Are you not dyslexic as fuck?” he grins.

You slap him, snorting and grumbling. The two of you take a seat on one of the benches, basking in an amicable silence. You turn when you hear a set of heels echoing against the stone of the hallways, You catch a glimpse of white hair disappearing around a corner and slump in your seat. Vlad notices and nudges you, raising a brow at your sudden down demeanour.

That was the one fuck up in your otherwise stellar recovery; Larissa was avoiding you. She had helped you settle in on the first evening but soon left you to your own devices. Part of you was relieved, if she was around you two would have to have a super difficult conversation or multiple difficult conversations. And you honestly didn’t know if you could handle that on top of everything else. On the other hand, you missed her dearly, you wanted to talk to her and just be with her. You wanted to share your worries with her, talk to her about everything that was going on in your mind. And know what was going on in hers. Know how she was feeling if she was upset with you or hurting. You missed her so much.

“She misses you too,” Vlad comments, breaking you from your silent musings.

“I’m not sure she does. I’m not sure I blame her if she doesn’t,” you sigh.

“Look, I don’t know what happened between the two of you. But I have worked with Larissa for a long time. She definitely cares deeply about you, anyone can see that. She’s just withdrawing to protect herself, and she probably thinks to protect you. She is a remarkable woman but she has been hurt so deeply by so many. She truly believes she is the cause of everyone’s problems. Take some time to figure out your feelings, but don’t give up on her, on the two of you.”

“Wow…I didn’t know you had it in you to do the deep and meaningfuls.I had assumed you were the ‘I don’t talk about my feelings, I am a rock’ type,” you joke.

“Yeah yeah, you can keep your feeling masking humour. Just promise you actually listened to what I said,” He snorts.

“I’m listening, I promise.” You huff, crossing your arms, “But if she does hate me then you’re buying me fuck tons of ice cream.”

“Deal,” he smirks.

“So, am I ever going to get a pair of sick fangs or…?” you grin.

“They should come back after some time, due to the enhanced healing,” he remarks, “I for one can’t wait until they come in and you sound like an even bigger dumbass trying to talk around them.”

“Yeah that’s sic- wait what?”

✰ KDRAMA CHARACTERS ID MAKE UP TO GIVE TO TXT MEMBERS IN TRUE BEAUTY! even though ive never watched the kdrama and hate the webtoon with every inch of my being.

𖥻 ִ ۫ ּ ﹗🩰 true beauty fans feel free to send me hate but you won't change my opinion.

YEONJUN: main character's savior aka the cameo 'almost' secondary second lead that appears mid-way into the drama after the main characters have always already confessed to each other and the second male lead has been casted aside BUT right now the main leads are having problems so in comes: choi yeonjun! for like either two episodes or two scenes, nothing in between.

probably someone huge in the industry who meets the main character in some make up room, while saving them from the other bully make up artist. shows too much interest despite not giving any attention but they are like, " who is she who does not give a fuck about me?" but with a nice guy smirk while showing off side profile and his nose bridge.

BOTTOM LINE, does not get the girl but ends in a good note where he is shown giving a shy smile in the camera and leaving probably definitely) gets casted as a male lead almost immediately after the show finished airing.

SOOBIN: is like those lowly assistant pd in the show where the main characters works as a makeup artist. sees the main character crying under the stairs, contemplates whether he should go or not to console but then he gets yelled at to get his ass moving. even ends up forgetting he saw any girl crying or whatever his life is already as hard as it is.

ALSO wears very thick black glasses, like the ones he does irl.

Is shown shamelessly clapping at the end of the drama when the main character accepts herself as if he did not just ignore the poor girl when she was crying all alone.

BEOMGYU: main character's useless, and very annoying date to a double date that main character gets roped in while she's at school. absolutely nuisance, can't sit properly in his chair, talks smack about the main character to her face because he's an insensitive teenage boy who wants the world to work on his whim. makes remarks like he can play "connect the dot" on her face with the acne while sipping loudly and obnoxiously from his straw.

EXCLUSIVELY wears a hoodie over his school uniform and has the most punchable face, we see him again when the main character becomes "hot" but he doesn't remember going with her on a date and tries to flirt and get her number. doesn't get the hint when he's turned down.

GETS punched at least once before his screen time in the show ends.

TAEHYUN: that one character we don't really think is important until the end of the series but he is still not important because he gets no lines.

WORKS in that comic shop where the main characters met up and they extensively, and LOUDLY discussed their secrets. like if he wanted he could have ended the entire series in 20 minutes.

Being a highly subjective assessment of one tiny corner of the interwebs. Organized by which ones (in each category) I’m enjoying most.

Ongoing Series - Thai

My School President (Fri YT) ep 9 of 12 - WinSound totally won me over in this ep. They were great. Their competitive style of romance, made me really happy. Double tsundere it’s so rare to get and not be annoying or depressing. Of course the mains were adorable too.

Never Let Me Go (Tues YT) ep 8 of 12 - Solid little episode. Perth in the pool, thank U BL gods. Peeling the shrimp to rope, always a favorite of mine. Some awesome couple flirting and a nice romantic sex scene. What’s not to like about this episode?

Hit Bite Love (Sat YouTube) ep 2 of 6 - King is fucking adorable. Burger is clueless and (apparently) entirely straight. Shogun is one of the gayest characters ever put in high school BL. Heda is kinda awesome, basically a chaos wingman. Matteo is interesting. I genuinely like the central friendship between King & Shogun a lot. Queer baby besties! It’s Ming & Wayo-esk but better. Holy KINK FEST outta nowhere, BLman! I’m getting total whiplash with this show. Very Make It Right. What does it want to be? Who tf knows but I’m into it, that’s for sure. It’s accomplishing something, which most pulps don’t.

609 Bedtime Story (Fri WeTV) ep 11fin - my backup computer is down so I haven’t had a chance to watch this yet. Hopefully but next week’s report.

Ongoing Series - Not Thai

HIStory 5: Love in the Future (Taiwan Weds Viki) ep 6 of 10 (or 11&12 of 20) - Jonny’s hair is driving me nuts. Hai Yi’s behavior is confusing me too. Office boys remain totally adorable. Very doomy mid run ep 6. Ah Taiwan, how unpredictable you are.

Candy Color Paradox AKA Ameiro Paradox (Japan Fri Gaga) ep 7 of 8 - these weirdos make for very strange boyfriends. Frankly? K seems like a useless bit of business, if you ask me.

Individual Circumstances (Korea Thurs Viki) ep 5-6 of 8 - I’m just annoyed with Mr. Tsundere at this point, he’s gone from grumpy to mean. I just want him to have a really good reason for having disappeared without saying anything, and good does not mean “sensitive pathetic authorial feels.” You don’t abandon your best friend just because you fell in love with them, that’s an unforgivably shitty thing to do.

The End Of The World, With You AKA Bokura no Micro na Shuumatsu (Japan Sun Gaga ep 1 of 8 - Stars Toshiki Seto (Senpai, This Can't Be Love). The world is about to be destroyed by a meteor, so Masumi visits his old uni library to read as much as he wants until the end. There he meets Ritsu, his player ex. It’s a bit awkward, and I’m not sure about the premise (it scares me that it might be sad). It’s racier, gayer, and has better kissing than i was expecting (again a sign it might go dark). Also Is Ritsu a big time bi-slut player or is that Masumi’s perspective? Regardless I’m intrigued if wary.

Finished this week

The New Employee (Korea Weds Viki) ep 7fin - They are so cute it’s unbelievable. I thought it was a good office romance ending, if not a great Bl ending. All in all this is a darn near perfect nugget of an office romance BL, sweet and much gayer than we have any right to expect from Korea. Rainbow rice cakes forever! 9/10

Between Us (Sun iQIYI) ep 12fin - It’s a serviceable series about hot swimmers flirting and dealing with family drama in a sweetly earnest manner, but ultimately it squanders the talent in play. I would’ve preferred a cleaner narrative arc, less angst and more plot, fewer couples, and a shorter series. That said, there’s nothing objectively wrong, sub-standard, or off-putting about this show. And it has lots of consent and other good qualities. It’s fine. Watch along here. 8/10

I Will Knock You (Fri Gaga) ep 12fin - I did think a lot over why I disliked this one. Because on the surface it’s just your standard slightly terrible Thai pulp, and I’m usually not that mean about them. I think in the end it comes down to the uke who just seemed to never warm to the boy pursuing him, and never really actually wanted to be his boyfriend. Also terrible dead fish kiss. 5/10

Caught up on 2020′s The Reason Why He Fell In Love With Me. (Gaga picked it up and I’ve been wanting to see it since it got announced in 2019.)

TRWHFILWM Series 1 - 2 teachers who work together at the same high school, one outgoing and the other reserved, start an affair. Gave me Ossan’s Love vibes and that is my least favorite kind of JBL. It’s just far too cartoonish and slapstick and I don’t like it. That said, it has several kisses, a happy ending, and they are cute together. So if you can this style BL, it you might like it.

TRWHFILWM Special - Completely ignores the first couple and the teacher premise, carrying over just one main character, and should have been a new BL (Boys Love flashbacks). I understand 2021′s season 2 continues this tactic. But I’ll watch it eventually.

vol vi thoughts bc fusebox keeps bringing me back

although we're in casa so ya know.... story is bound to get bad soon after casa

first of all, Hari. im so disappointed with his sprite because I'd so go for him for looks alone otherwise (his hair is nice and hes indian and hes got the rohan sort of physique albeit more muscle-y). but somethings up with his face and his eyes are a little red and his torso is doing the thing Vicki does, so he just feels like a leftover from S7 (and what a shame bc Tyler is drawn so well but barely gets time to impress us in the villa!)

OK anyway personality wise though hes giving nothing. Bombshells gotta cause more chaos and I think he'd be a fine and dandy OG in the real show but he's just kinda here. I mean idk maybe I tapped through his dialogue too quickly but in my head rn he's similar level to Elliot. Elliot I can at least make gamer jokes about and the girls had more to say about him than just: he's hot, and MC should go for him. that being said what I'm about to reveal i did in a few bullet points will not make sense.

The note was obviously gonna be from Jin (your LI), so them dragging it out was a little annoying. And I have personal opinion on what types of things should be gem choices and part of that is having a good enough excuse not to go through with it and I think not reading the note for no reason is not good enough. Anyway I did choose to read the note and it's sweet and references Jin's whole "funny guy but now I'm serious about you" shtick and I just wish they write that a little differently but it's still cute.

Then we get Bea's messages and it's odd bc I can't think of a reason or another season on the show that they dragged out the bombshells arrival like this. Like first of all, they might as well have given a message to Theo as well instead of just Oakley and Hari. But even more than that, why put the messages at all? just to have a cliffhanger at the end of the episode? I think just straight up during the sports day challenge, have someone read a text that a new couple is joining, and then bam it's Jin and Bea. maybe one text from her but the multiple was bugging me.

I also don't know why I got it in my head that Bea was gonna flirt with Theo/Claudia depending on who you flirted with, plus also your current LI but like that would've been a nice addition since I think Theo and Claudia should be done for but they don't make it clear???

Oakley messing with Emel about the drink was funny ngl, but I do miss the routes not merging because it just doesn't make sense to me having Oakley do that. Jack or Jin, maybe, but Oakley is the silent, serious type. Like in my head, he's more like Noah.

There is very briefly a few friendship moments between MC and Theo this volume and in my head they are besties and I wish that was canon/more explicit because I'm not going after him anyway. That way you get the friends who get closer and become lovers storyline from either Theo or Claudia and the other you still get to be friends with.

I'm surprised Claudia and Theo aren't just fully broken up because Claudia is asking for advice and I'm like, did yall not already get that sorted?? it's been so long. One of them should just go for the bombshells.

A chat with Claudia! finally! (albeit a gem scene) I thought we'd get to know more about her but it's mostly just a game of word association which is odd. I will say admitting that MC associates love with Jin made me laugh bc I'm cruel

The girls then say that MC needs to graft on Hari because they're both single and I get the support, but also MC is still getting over Jin lol.

Remember how I said the way I'm gonna play this doesn't make sense? Okay so I decided I needed to create my own mess, just to see if fusebox is gonna let my MC have consequences for her actions. So this is for science, in a way... Okay. So I may have let my MC flirt with Hari. And then maybe she got a sexy massage from him. And then maybe they kissed. What can I say? She's out of her mind without Jin. 🤣

okay no but seriously, in my head she does start to revert to her old ways, her old type, but she knows Hari isn't right for her. She misses Jin but she's not used to having a connection so fast with someone. And when he's gone she misses him but over the course of the day after putting on her brave face, she's convinced herself she's overthinking it. the letter was sweet but it scared her a little. she knows he was gonna ask her to be exclusive and she freaked a little. she just needs a little distraction....

I enjoy sports day but in my head it's usually a late in the show game. Like around in S2 when they have the bird thing happening or the S4 musical (OK maybe not that late, like probably pre baby challenge, but it's generally a challenge with very little drama is my point). still it was fun to have here.

and then of course return of the king, Jin comes back. and with the way I've been doing shit, yes, MC did kiss Hari when Jin entered and ohhhh he was upset.

Bea is cute but playful and still competitive and okay she goes for your couple, but also I get like Chelsea vibes from her (no canon reason why, I just think it's the hair) so love her.

Double date is so fun when your other partner is nearby, like it's almost enough to forget they did the same thing in season 5 because it's so much better this time around.

for fun and for angst I just imagine in the show, mid date they cut to a beach hut scene where MC is like "yeah I had a fun time with Hari but he when he was talking about all the things he wants in a life partner, I kept thinking about how I want that with Jin." 🥺

anyway yeah bring back beach hut

So I'm not a big fan of how they introduced the bombshells and LI return but it's not bad. I just think we could've gotten more time with Jin, Hari, and Bea. It's unclear but I think it's implied Jin, Hari, Bea, and MC are all single and I hope that's true because that way there will be little consequence (as in no sudden dumping) if you or another one of those characters brings someone from casa. because you're not in a couple anyway. (I mean I always hope there's no Dumping immediately after casa bc the arguments are more fun but this is how they've been doing it recently and i think part of that is bc of how they force the routes to merge)

it's also nice we don't get immediately stolen from our partner a la Tom/Cora entrance (or Elliot/Chloe) but it's sort of implied with how the sports day couples went? like I wish there was just a little more time before Casa so it's clear they're all single

or fuck it, give us a recoupling and post casa don't dump the other LI right away if you switch. Like you should be able to make up with your LI or not and it's boys choice and if they wanna keep the slow burn Theo picks last I guess and gets Bea just to also fix the Theo and Claudia together but not storyline. Maybe between your original LI and Hari, one of them picks Claudia (or give us another mlm couple if you're on a Claudia route and let him couple with Theo lmao)

under the cut for spoilers if u care…

overall i liked it a lot was a great experience and ill definitely play it again im usually a serious side quest completer and i did my best with this game but i think i still missed quite a lot of them haha. surprisingly i built my characters very well for someone who knows nothing about d&d (i thought ranger class meant you had to be an archer when i started…) and nothing was super easy or super difficult at the normal difficulty so well balanced and pretty fun i got really into the fighting by the end which i wasnt expecting

in terms of game mechanics a few things annoyed me a little…

1. this is especially true towards the end game but when youre in a fight with a large number of enemies (like 15-30) you are kinda forced to sit thru each of them taking their turn and at times the AI was a bit slow so it would get to an npc’s turn the npc would stand there doing nothing for 20 seconds then take 20 more seconds to complete their actions. then this times the 20 something other enemies there i really liked the fighting generally but moments like this where you would be waiting 5-10 minutes for your turn again i would get quite bored lol i did 3 word searches while waiting for my turn during the final two fights

2. sometimes you had to talk to people a little too much for example i would get on my computer to play for an hour or two and i would be looking to fight at least a little but sometimes you would not encounter that at all and have to spend your time doing the starting point of questlines where you walk around and speak to randoms for the whole hour u know. could be how i played the game though i like getting thru one area entirely instead of going back and forth between places and especially at the start of act ii and iii the first few hours i would do nothing but walk around and speak to people

3. okay now for my romance hot take: i think it was all too easy and when a game makes things too easy for you i find i like it much less. i did nothing at the start but not be outright rude to all the companions i met on the road but this let me sleep with whoever i wanted which was kinda a letdown because i think you should have to put some work in and at least have to try to flirt with them first!! i was propositioned by four characters in the first act and as i said i was really not going out of my way to romance anyone.

that being said i wish i romanced karlach she was def my fave character and i brought her everywhere and we became besties by the end (and i let her turn into a mind flayer for me and also for herself so she wouldnt die) but the reason i initially didnt is because i met her the same day as the night of the tiefling party and i thought it would be too soon to be doing that but then after i picked someone else she gave the remark everyone else did when i didnt pick them which was ???? ive known you five minutes why do u wanna sleep w me??? but whatever i liked her arc the best i loveeee her voice not sure what kinda british accent it is but its very pleasing to hear and she was always so charming. i ended up romancing astarion but im not sure i would do it again i love vampires ofc but he was kinda annoying me the whole time idk he was too fanfic-y for me. and i let him turn evil but then he got even more annoying so i broke up with him lol his loss

idk i think in rpg games i prefer if u can very briefly flirt with someone not completely get into a committed relationship (or at least have it be much harder than it was here) if u really feel something for some polygons you should have to put some work in yourself to see these kinda results! but thats just me im aware im in the minority of players here

also i finished bg3 last night finally!! my first playthrough took me over 90 hours i will write out my thoughts later

You and Steve sat on his couch watching a movie giggling and snacking the day away. “Too good. I could never get tired of that movie,” Steve laughed.

You grabbed a still filled bottle of beer and walked out the door, not without shouting your goodbye probably annoying your other neighbors. You walked to your apartment seeing the clock said it was around five. You grabbed your laptop and opted for pizza considering you didn’t really want to make anything from the kitchen.

About to input your card information on the website for delivery, you noticed you didn’t have your wallet or your phone. You left it at Steve’s. You walked across the hall and knocked on Steve’s but Steve didn’t open the door.

“Hey, I left my stuff here- Woah, you’re not Steve.”

A very tall fellow with striking blue eyes stood confidently at the door. He had fair skin and long brown locks pulled into a bun rested in the back of head. He was fucking gorgeous.

“Nope,” was all he said before Steve came up to the door.

“Hey you’re back. This my friend Bucky; the guy I grew up with, the one I told you about,” Bucky’s smile grew and you nearly buckled to the floor, gosh he was so handsome.

“Dude, come one. She’s too good for you,” Steve laughed, making Bucky roll eyes grinning.

For the rest of the day you couldn’t stop thinking about Bucky, and Bucky couldn’t stop thinking about you. Since that day, Bucky came around to Steve’s almost like clockwork. You were always making sure to leave right before he got there. You would peeked through your peephole, watching him go inside Steve’s apartment.

There were days where all three of you would hang out whether it’d be at your place or Steve’s, usually Steve’s, and those days were the worst. Bucky’s intentional stares and lingering touches. Sitting so close to you when you guys put a movie on.

One time when Steve went to the bathroom he asked if you had a boyfriend and regretfully you said no. It seemed as though his shameless flirting became even more shameless if that was even possible.

“Y/n, have I told you how good you look today?” Bucky asked you when you got back from having lunch.

“Yes, you have. About three times today,” you nudged his shoulder with yours.

“Ah shit. Y/n, I think I left my keys inside. Can I use your extra I gave you?”

“Sure,” you handed him your keys and he picked up the one that looked like an American flag since his birthday was the fourth of July. You thought it was funny and easy to remember.

“Ok thanks,” he handed them back once you guys settled inside.

“You guys want anything?”

“Nothing you couldn’t give me,” Bucky smirked at you, making you roll your eyes.

“I’m good Steve, thanks. I’m actually gonna head back to my apartment, I gotta finish homework,” you told him before leaving.

“You guys are still in school?” Bucky asked Steve when you left.

“She is. She’s working towards a PhD, I forgot in what,” Steve shrugged.

“Oh.” She’s smart, Bucky thought.

“I should probably get going too. I’ve got my bike and I heard it was going to rain for the next couple days.”

“Wait before you go, why won’t you ask Y/n on a date?” Steve smirked.

“Eh, she’s beautiful but I don’t think she’d go for a guy like me. She’s too smart,” Bucky chuckled.

“Nah, I think she likes you too,” Steve said.

“You gonna come by tomorrow?” he asked.

“If it doesn’t rain, sure.”

“It won’t; I’ll see ya then.”

Tomorrow came quickly and your head was buried in a textbook and your hand in a bag of chips. You had order takeout already and quickly ate it leaving boxes and plastics to-go utensils littered all over your table. On the bright side, or rather rainy, droplets fell gracefully down the window in front of you. They weren’t heavy but the drizzle was still very pleasant.

Rainys days were always your favorite. You usually spent them on your bed that laid underneath a window and if you needed extra comfort you’d crack it so you could hear the rainfall and cars drive over wet asphalt. It was peaceful.

Pulling you from your concentration was a firm knock on the door.

“Buck, whatcha doing here?” you opened the door.

“Steve said to come by but he’s not here,” he told you.

“Oh weird. He didn’t say he was going out. Did you try his spare?”

“It’s not there,” you frowned at his statement.

“Here let me grab my keys and I can let you in, he won’t mind.”

You grabbed your keys and searched for the American Flag key for Steve’s apartment but you could find it. The last you used it was when Steve needed his key because he left his in his apartment. Wait, how did he lock his apartment if he didn’t have his key? Why didn’t he use his spare; where is his spare?

“Hey, I don’t know where his key is so why don't you just come inside and wait here,” you offered. Did Steve steal your key? Why?

“Do you want anything to drink?” you asked him.

“You got beer?” he smiled cheekily.

“Of course I do,” you smirked.

Bucky came in and you quickly cleaned your disaster of a living room. There were papers and books everywhere, cups and plates piled on the coffee table. Bucky didn’t seem repulsed but he did mention slyly that he thought you were a tidy person. You punched his shoulder laughing saying you usually are but exams were tight right now. Not only that but you couldn’t even remember the last time you had a guy over.

You put a movie on for you and Bucky drinking beer and eating some snacks you had in a cabinet. You weren’t going to lie, being around Bucky like this was comforting but also nerve-wrecking. He was so handsome and of course that made you nervous. And his continuous shameless flirting did nothing for your own confidence.

“Awe man, Steve said he can’t come home,” Bucky read the message out loud.

“Why?”

“Said he got caught in the rain,” he told you.

“What a fucking liar. It’s hardly drizzling,” you laughed out loud.

Almost immediately Steve texted you asking if you let Bucky in your apartment and you replied saying that you would let him in his but that you knew he stole your key.

I’d do no such thing, he replied and you rolled your eyes.

Tom. Your typical frat boy.

Hot guy, astonishing body, soft curly brown hair followed with the dark brown eyes that had every girl drooling. His charming smile that he flashed to every single girl, covered up his conceited behaviour. Although he was a very charismatic person, he was a bit big-headed.

Did I say a bit? I meant a lot.

Parties were his scene. Tom loved the attention he got from the people almost immediately when he would enter the party place. Girls were basically throwing themselves on him, waiting for him to acknowledge them.

Tom was aware of the effect he had on the ladies, and he sure took advantage of that.

Every weekend there was a new one in his sheets.

He didn’t do feelings, some girls knew, some didn’t. So the morning after he would throw them out of his room half naked, all shattered and with the disgusting feeling that they were used.

He had a reputation, after all he was the most wanted boy out here, everyone’s dream was to become something to him.

Unfortunately no one had succeeded.

Did Tom say she a minute ago? Oh yes.

She was Sophie. And no, she wasn’t his girlfriend, but she sure didn’t think that way.

Sophie was your classic example of a girl that doesn’t understand the word no.

She was one of Tom’s flings, a beautiful, but fake girl. They got together at her 20th birthday party, it was just a one time drunk sex. Tom waited for her to feel asleep after a long session, so he could just go home and get at least a little amount of sleep.

However the next day at college, Sophie was like a limpet.

She didn’t let him breathe, even though Tom explained how he worked.

To be rejected or not interested in her was a unknown term for Sophie.

“Look, we shared a night, had sex and that’s all. It’s how I roll sweetie okay?” He desperately tried to get her off of his back.

“Tommy, I know how you do things, but you can’t lie about the chemistry. We just need to be together. And the sex is amazing.”

And that’s how it started.

Tom was loud and clear, not just with her, but with his friends and other ladies that she isn’t his girl, and never will be.

He really hoped that Sophie would let him be after a while, and she really did, but Tom just couldn’t keep it in his pants.

The Spring party.

Everyone got shit-faced, Tom was super turned on by a sweet brunette that clearly wasn’t interested in his lame flirting.

Sophie came in for a refill in the kitchen, but she was a godsend for Tom at that moment.

“Soph, sweetie mind if I get you a drink?”

“Thought you were clear about your feelings for me Tommy?” She answered, playing with the end of her dress.

“Yeah, yeah..How about I get you that drink, and we could catch up on things, ya know like old times?” He crossed his arms on purpose, flexing his biceps.

“I knew you would come back.” Sophie laughed, wrapping her slim arms around him.

It happened again. And Tom left like the last time, but once again Sophie didn’t get the message.

It became much more harder for him to avoid her, she was all over the place. She ruined his possible hookups, tried to meet his friends, brothers. It was getting on his last nerve, and even though he said that he doesn’t do relationships, she didn’t give up.

Sophie just wanted to be in the spotlight, and Tom was a great opportunity.

“Dear God. I told you that this lifestyle of yours would cost you. You should’ve refrain yourself for one night. Now you have a fake and crazy girl on your back, and no freedom as well.” You said, secretly eyeing him, he was hot you couldn’t lie.

“Thanks for not helping Y/N. Fucking hell I just want her to disappear, she is hundred percent crazy!”

“Why don’t you for once think rationally. Call her, take her for a coffee, tea whatever, sit down. Talk. Like normal people, tell her how things are, use your magic. But be nice and direct, she needs to get it in her head.” You tried your best to help him, after all he was your best friend and crush since preschool.

Stupid choice I know.

“I think so, but I wouldn’t be surprised that she spreads the news that I took her on a ‘date’, not a ‘can you please fuck off’ coffee.” Tom spoke clearly annoyed, filling up his empty glass.

He was tipsy already, and so were you. The wine absolutely did the job.

You were now nervous, your heart thumping against your ribs, the silence wasn’t an issue between the two of you, but tonight something was different.

“Why are you laughing?” You questioned, looking at Tom.

“Nothing darling, just remembered the day at elementary school.”

“Oh God. Which one?”

“You know, when you almost punched Elizabeth when she said I gave her a flower, and that I’m her best friend now.” He looked at you smiling like a child.

“Hey! You couldn’t blame me I loved you, you were my bestie I thought you betrayed me!” You stated, turning your body to his.

“Oh loved?” He grabbed his chest, trying to look hurt, but failing after a loud laugh escaped from his lips.

Your hand slapped his chest playfully, as an answer.

“This wine is crazy, I’m definitely going to consume it more.” He spoke.

“Well you for sure will if Sophie freaks out again.”

“New bottle?” You asked, standing up, your legs wobbly from the alcohol that was running in your system.

“Sure, it’s a long night after all.”

You tried to be as relaxed as you could be, but Tom’s presence tonight didn’t let you be.

Tom was also tense, the wine messed with his mind, he didn’t got laid for days, and the silky white shorts of yours didn’t help him at all.

You were in front of him, opening a bottle, but he just couldn’t control himself. His eyes were glued on your slim legs and tits.

He knew that under those hoodies that you wear on a daily basis was an incredible body.

Tom finded you attractive, absolutely stunning. He thought about you on his bed, whining for him, he really did wanted to have sex with you, but he couldn’t. You were his best friend and Tom didn’t want to hurt you.

“What?!” Your cheeks were burning, and you couldn’t believe he asked you that. Sure you two had conversations about sex, but only about his sex life, and by that I mean who he slept with not how and where.

“You heard me, c’mon we’re friends you can tell me everything.”

“Yes we are, but I would love to keep the informations about my sex life to myself.”

“So you’re a virgin?”

“TOM!” You almost chocked on the wine.

“Well?” He smirked, feeling how you got more and more shy from the conversation. God he wanted to fuck you so bad.

“No I’m not a virgin!”

“Then you can tell me when was the last time hm?”

“I don’t remember ok?! Jesus, the last time was probably the week before me and Noah broke up.” Your voice almost a whisper, realising that you were presumably too boring.

Tom just whistled the ‘wow that’s tooo long’ whistle, earning an annoying look from you.

“If it helps you I didn’t bang a girl for like a week, maybe more?” His answer turning into a question.

“Yeah, that helped me a lot, thanks Thomas.”

“Always here to help you.”

You once again slapped him playfully, but with the arm where your glass of wine was, spilling the beverage on his shirt and sweatpants.

Shit.

“Fuck, sorry! I’m drunk, I-shit.” Yes, you were absolutely drunk, because the sober Y/N wouldn’t try to dry Tom’s crotch with her hands.

Tom’s eyes opened widely. The feeling of your palm rubbing his now hard dick, speeded up his breathing.

Your knees were on the couch, and your body extremely close to his. You still didn’t have a clue what you were doing.

“If you’re gonna clean me up like this, I might spill some of this by myself darling.” He groaned, raising the glass in the air.

That was enough to send your mind to reality.

“OH GOD. I’m so sorry, oh my God this is so embarrassing right now.” You tried to sit back down, but Tom’s hands stopped you.

Before you could fall on the purple carpet in your living room, his grip brought you into his chest.

Your hands were on his thorax, his arms on your lower back.

“Shit, am I on his lap right now?! What the fuck is happening?” You thought inside your head. What a great situation to be in.

“You’re making me so hard now Y/N.”

You were speechless. This wasn’t happening.

“I think it’s a big shame that you don’t have any kind of relief after a long day.” He whispered in your ear, breathing in the sweet scent of your shampoo.

“Tom.” Your mind was hazy, you tried your best to resist this, but holy shit you wanted this since forever.

I still can’t believe this band is called “Sssss..!” imagine asking someone about their favourite musician and then they just hiss at you

The longer that this movie goes on, the more I feel a bit bad for Bright bc Win gets all of the voiceovers. They really only needed him for like, 30 seconds so far khgjhggj I hope he was still paid well

“This was the first time Scrubb’s song could make my heart beat this fast,” said Tine, thinking that is a chill and platonic thing to think about your music club buddy

I really do love that Sarawat starts this tradition of singing his feelings to Tine, and also that Tine sings along, slightly out of time

How is Green such a dedicated non-boyfriend to Tine, and yet somehow in his real relationship, finds it okay to join a club to flirt with another man in front of his actual boyfriend. Green and Dim need years of couple’s counselling

Is the reason that Dim’s band is wearing face-obscuring cardboard masks so they could use the same band members as “Sssss..!” without ppl noticing LMAO. Economical!

🎶 It doesn’t matter who you like. Just look at me. 🎶 I don’t know what it is about this song, but Took Yang (Everything) GETS ME EVERY TIME. IT’S JUST VERY ROMANTIC

“I feared that I might develop feelings for him,” said Tine, already tits deep in feelings

What I enjoy most about Bright, both as an actor and in general, seeing him in interviews and such, is that he somehow has this expression as if he is in love with everyone he’s ever spoken to. It’s compelling

I think in one interview he describes it as “listening really intently,” and I’m like. That is not how I look when I listen. You listen with love in your eyes. It is very endearing

I’ve never understood why the fake-dating break-up takes place while Tine is in a towel. Who decided this lol it really does distract from the sincerity of their feelings. His hair isn’t even wet LMAO

“But you like Earn.” It’s funny that in this recap, Tine doesn’t describe the like, 8 or 9 times that Sarawat, prior to this, sincerely declares that he is interested in Tine hkjfhkjfhf bisexual blinders on

“The guy I just talked to. He is the guy I like!” Sarawat’s flashbacks are so funny in the context of how he reacted to Tine every time he spoke to him. Sarawat’s that tweet that goes, ‘When I was 7 I had a crush on a guy in my class & didnt know how to deal w it so I wrote him a letter that just said “get out of my school”’

I love that how even when Tine is not quite ready to admit his feelings, he leaves the door open for Sarawat to understand that he is starting to reciprocate them

“Nowadays, I only wish for him to be faithful to me,” said Tine, as if Sarawat has not been in love with him and only him since the moment they met

HAHAHAHA it’s been 64 minutes and finally Sarawat gets a voiceover, good for him

Also if Sarawat proposes to Tine I will cry, I love that for them. I hope Tine uno reverses him and pulls out his own ring

It’s a shame that so far they haven’t included any scenes from Still 2gether, in which they address any of the relationship or personal insecurities that arise for these two over the span of the series, but I guess ‘and then we put work into our relationship’ doesn’t make for as good of a movie LMAO
