I love that every wiki is like ‘You get to the red line and it’s revealed Pavel is a high ranking officer’ and I’m like I knew that. I mean I didn’t know he was a major specifically, but he definitely told me he was an officer when we were on the surface.

Which begs the question: did he forget he was pretending to be a grunt and let it slip, because he got so comfortable around Artyom.

I finished Maria the Virgin Witch, which is a solid anime with a fun main character that not only has witches (always a plus) but legitimately examines how bullshit enforced purity standards are and the harmfulness of fundamentalist Catholic dogma, but the most important thing about it (jk) is it gives one of the most impressive ladies-carrying dudes moments I've seen in a while- not only is he twice her size, he's wearing (partial) armor, AND she's carrying a bigass heavy looking solid gold (?) cross she just looted in one hand and not breaking a sweat..incredible. That's talent. Biggest twist in the anime. She deserves better than this garbage man she has to haul around.

Sorry for the wait! I’M GLAD YOU ASKED because I’ve been meaning to draw this forever since I’ve been obsessed with Baldur’s Gate 3 (it basically makes up my DnD knowledge)! I had their race/classes jotted down in my notes for months. Here’s what I came up with, hope you like it!

I'm not trying to be unfairly critical about my art- there are things I know I do well (like anatomy and composition), but overall, I feel like my works lack any "oomf" dbdhdbd it doesn't feel that "interesting" to look at, I guess?? It needs a bit more flavour fbsjdhd

I do not have faith this is going to be a good adaption, I'm sorry, maybe 10 years ago this could have been a great passion project (especially if Gore Verbinski had been involved like originally planned) but I just know it's going to be an over-actioned, improperly funded (since it's a Netflix production they're absolutely going to either dump too much or not enough money in it then write it off as a failure if it doesn't 'perform' well enough), CGI-laden slop fest that doesn't even acknowledge or properly handle half the themes present in the series.

So, lesson learned: the calico eggs from the calico festival don't get saved after it ends and hence can't be used next year, I just spent 3 days mostly in the caves earning a currency I didn't end up spending 🙃 (150+whatever the adventure guy would've given me for gathering like 10+ eggs in the caves on the last day)

boy i love it when a battle comes together in a narratively perfect way

sixth or seventh try at the cazador battle. for once instead of opening with a call lightning, he decides to open with a blight and insta-kill my bard, who normally starts by dimension-dooring to free astarion. this means that things get perilously close to popping off ascension-wise before jaheira and shadowheart can get her back up and a Daylight off. this kind of sets the tone for the battle, which goes Badly for almost the whole time. it hits the point where both my bard and shadowheart are just spamming Mass Cure Wounds and Mass Healing Word to keep people on their feet.

however. eventually astarion gets in perfect postion to break out the scroll of disintegrate right at cazador. who fails the save. and finally takes a proper hit to his ridiculous HP pool. he then pitches a fit and runs right at astarion to try and fuck him up, but the healing from the ladies keeps him on his feet - and then cazador was in perfect 'astarion has a scroll of Sunbeam' range. he did also hit ryse with it because i didn't realise she was in range. it's fine. she gets it. she's cast fireball on herself to get enemies before now. that put him on his last legs.

and then astarion'd taken a potion of speed before, so he had another attack - and he was wearing the risky ring, so he had sneak attack from the advantage.
