The Best Beep Boop Tournament

The Best Beep Boop is a tournament I have created, in an attempt to take all 512 of the songs in my spotify playlist: the good beep boops, and figure out which of them is the best beep boop.

this tournament will be divided into 32 brackets, each having 16 songs, and then the final bracket in which the winners of the smaller brackets all fight each other.

when I’m listing songs in the matches themselves, I will list the listed artists with a few exceptions such as: 1. if one of the artists listed is a large company or franchise (this applies to high schools as well)

2. if the artist listed is not a human (I can only think of one song this would be an issue with, and that’s because the song in spotify is listed under the vocaloid that sings it, in this case I will list the human composer)

something important to note, the status of a song as a cover will not change the listings of the artists. I will list the artists that are cited in spotify. if I had to figure out they were covers by myself, so do you.

I do not currently know how many matches i will post per day, and it is likely to vary based on whether I want to do this or not.

finally, the listings of the songs in the screenshots of the brackets are for my own convinience. I am not going to the effort of creating 33 customized brackets to make the song identification easier for you. you can infer what I mean.

Hello dear. How are you?

Wouldn't it be cool if Metalhead had a female voice in new tmnt cartoon iteration. Idk why I thought it was gendered as female despite being a robot. Until lately I heard it saying "I will protect mutants" in a male voice. What do you think.

Was that a missed opportunity?

Personally I kind of like a mute metalhead. I grew up with 2012 metalhead which if I remember correctly, only kind of made beeps, boops, and other robotic noises

A robot voice would work for metalhead, but if I had any say in the matter I’d actually go in a different direction

I think it would be cool if the character either had a classic “robot voice”/gender neutral voice or if there was both a male and female voice speaking at the same time

Just something to add to the character, metalhead is so cool and the franchise could do so much with the robro!

So they both definitely love going on picnics, they have a soft spot for nature since Lukas loves studying the different plants and flowers and Axel enjoys it since it reminds him of the older days before the witherstorm situation happened... takes him back to when he was still able to hang out with Jesse and Olivia in the woods, when times were (sorta) simpler (cus yk yk they were forest kids that lived in the woods or sm (at least in my AU that's how I like to see it loll!!)).

Also they be packing a lot of treats like cookies and such (especially Axel yk how Axel is) and I'm a firm believer in the idea of either one of them making flower crowns for one another and after their picnic they just cuddle on the blanket while watching the sun starting to set. 🙋🏻‍♂️

I'm srry but I fully enjoy writing and thinking about men being lovey dovey like this it makes my heart explode.. IN A GOOD WAY I LOVE GAY PEOPLE !! 💥💥

*clears throat* anyways-

They're both really touchy when it comes to affection...... especially Axel. He's the clingy one in the relationship, and for good reason!

I see Axel bein the kind of guy who always tries to act tough (especially when it came to confronting Aiden and the others), I find him probably being the one who's picked on way more than Jesse and Oliva (cus uh... yk- appearance :^). He definitely never let's others see it, but he genuinely never thought he'd be able to have someone love him for his looks which is why I think he'd be pretty grateful having Lukas's attention, call him touch starved perhaps cus he's hella confused by such feelings but he really likes it!!

Sooo he's kinda always seeking that kind of physical or emotional affection from Lukas whenever he gets the chance (whether it be kisses, compliments, ykkkk rlly gay stuff that makes my heart all icky /pos).

With Axel being around Lukas more as well, I think the more time he warmed up to him, the more he was able to start opening up about himself. Whether it'd be platonic or romantic, I could see them perhaps sharing some sort of bond due to their history with one another, like you can NOT tell me that if they interacted more in the game (and Axel was written with more personality-) they could've at least had some sort of heart to heart moment on why Axel acted the way he did towards Lukas. 🫵🏻
