just watched The Substance and I'm so happy I decided to go and watch it, after all! it was so good!!! the body horror was spectacular, the acting was superb, everything was just right, honestly. it was horrific and hilarious at the same time (especially toward the end), which made me feel terrible for laughing as hard as I did, because on a deeper level, none of those scenes are funny, but on a movie level, they were hilarious (and had genuine comedic elements, so in a way, you're supposed to laugh, and you're most likely also supposed to feel bad about that). truly, I love Coralie Fargeat's style! her movies are so incredibly stylistic in the best way, I love it so much! <3 (please also watch "Revenge", if you liked The Substance. that movie of hers is amazing as well! but make sure to read the warnings or short plot summary of it because it deals with triggering/sensitive subject matters!)

that was a pretty solid 10/10 for me, honestly! <3

#lowkey went to see skz today 👀#i should have invested in some opera glasses bc i couldn't see shit....#it was still fun tho i impulse bought a lightstick and it's actually so cool having it sync up 🥹#my crush on bang chan has been resolidified he is so fucking talented and so caring and he just wants to give back everything 10x #the way he walked all the way to the end of each end of the stage multiple times to say hi to people off to each side #also boy can Move like i had my chan goggles on and there were times main dancers were the focus but he was all i could see 🤧#i still think it would have been more fun to go with a friend but i had a way better time than the last kpop concert i went to #everyone in the section i sat in decided to stay seated for most of the concert and i'm So grateful #i would have struggled so much if i'd had to stand for 3 hours and then get back to where i'm staying #like in some ways i wish i'd gotten closer seats but at least i wasn't on the floor forced to stand the whole time #there was a girl in the section next to mine who was possessed by a demon yelling yang jeongin every time there was a moment of silence #it was truly upsetting it sounded like she was actively dying....#i forgot how many skz songs i actually know really well tho they have so many bangers #good gig overall i'm pleased i went ^^

also currently trying 2 talk my mum in2 doing a trip in august to see family out west who i havent seen since i was single digits in age and like. i genuinely for realsies want 2 see those aunts n uncles but also...... i kinda really just wanna see metallica live. this is just a 2 birds 1 stone type of situation. srry 2 my aunts n uncles. yall r at least 55% an excuse 2 go out there in the first place.
