Her name is Pessume Kwon. (I know it’s kinda weird and fun, but please pronounce Pezermay or pesumay Gwon)

She is from the East and came to Vesuvia.

She knows that pronouncing her name ‘pesume’ in Latin means "worst, evil". So she doesn't like when someone calls her name that way, so people close to her usually call her ‘pem’.

She has an oriental appearance, and her cheeks and nose are always red(or pink)(She’s not drunk). Her eyes are grey with a faint green and purple color.

Her jacket resembles the clothes she wore in her native country. The ribbon tied to the braided hair tip on the left has been used since she was a child. Her gold-decorated haetae-shaped(Korean foo dog) earring tends to be worn on days when she wants to be gorgeous depending on her mood.

Pem speaks in a gentle and quiet tone. She is generally friendly and considerate to others, but she doesn't open her heart easily. It takes a relatively long time to get close, but once she opens her heart, she becomes a better friend and colleague than anyone else.

She is cheerful, positive and committed. She’s curious and enjoys trying various things. Also, She is well immersed in contemplation and philosophical exploration, forgetting that time goes by with people and talking about it. So everyone, how did you find this installment? Oh, you want to know why I sound so excited? Well, it’s because we just finished recording! It was a lot of work. As for exactly how much, I’ve been at this for one, two, three, four, five…about ten hours now! Well, obviously not all in one day. But anyway now we’re at Arcana Famiglia 2. Though technically we had Arcana Famiglia first, and then Vascello Fantasma, and then Festa Regalo, but this one’s Arcana Famiglia 2. If you want to know why it’s not called “due”… (TN: he was mumbling a lot here so I didn’t catch it. But made some Dante-level joke about “due” and “two”). Anyway, I had a lot of fun during the recording. And we even have new characters, new characters with routes this time. I’m sure there’s a lot of surprises about what each of the characters are like and how the Tarocco works, so if you’ve only done Liberta’s so far— *beep-boop* Oh whoops, I kicked something on accident, sorry. *laughing* Uh, then I hope you’ll get to the other ones soon too. There’s some super unexpected twists, so I really hope you’ll see them for yourselves. Then for anyone who did Liberta last, what did you think of him? Did you like him? Isn’t he great? I always wondered what would happen after Vascello Fantasma, but we actually got even more characters! The Star being a girl surprised me the most. But I feel like we still don’t have all of them. I think? Kind of like the Egyptian gods, but I guess that’s different. Well, if you’ve cleared the game, I’m sure you know how your ending went. I might get sad if I tried to guess… Some people might have cleared several endings already, or Luca might have been their first route. How was it? Arcana Famiglia 2? It’s been quite a while since the first Arcana Famiglia. I’m not even sure how many years it’s been. Frm a recording standpoint. The recording’s been done for a while now, and I don’t know when it’ll reach all of you. But it’s cold out right now. And when we recorded Vascello Fantasma, it was… Actually maybe I shouldn’t say. Am I even allowed to say? Haha. Probably shouldn’t say too much. Anyway, I’m supposed to reflect and talk a bit here. Hm, I wouldn’t know which endings or what routes you’ve seen so hmm. I guess there aren’t as many short scenes like before, and the lines are more story based. I think we recorded things more or less in order too, and that made it easier to get the emotions down. I’m not sure if that’s better from a player’s perspective. Like if it makes sense to have this conversation at this affection level, but it is one approach. It was easier though, so I hope you’ll enjoy this game too. The other characters and Luca. And a lot of the characters have…I don’t know if I’d say “bad ends” but there are some not that good endings. For Luca too. We had lots of discussions about it. Me with the staff. Like if he can’t talk, then do I need to talk? Shouldn’t he and Felicita be communicating with his expressions instead? And isn’t that what Felicita does and what makes her unique? That’s what I told them anyway. Not that I don’t want to talk. I just wondered if the scenes would be more impactful without voiceover. Wouldn’t that make the consequences more severe? But they said it was from Luca’s POV, so I guess that makes sense. Well anyway if you happen to agree with me, there’s a feedback card and a link on their webpage so you can let them know what you think. Maybe we’ll get a revised version. Hahaha. Cast Comment (Dante’s CV, Jurota Kosugi): This is Jurota Kosugi, and I voiced Dante. Sooo, what did you think of Arcana Famigia 2? Since it’s the second one, it really feels like the world of Arcana Famiglia got bigger. I think there’s multiple reasons for that, but I feel like the scenario had a lot more depth to it. I felt like a lot of the lines had some deep meaning to them. And as I’m sure you’re all aware, they’ve added quite a few new characters. We got some new friends, so that sure makes the world seem bigger too. And for me personally, we sure got a lot more of the younger Dante in Arcana Famiglia 2. Oh and this isn’t a spoiler, but while we were recording the director would tell me stuff like “this is the old one” and “this is the young one”. So they were differentiated but, I wonder if you all could actually tell hahaha. I did try to make the old one and the ~*young one*~ sound different, so I hope you could sort of tell haha. Anyway, I think it would take a lot of time for someone to experience all of Arcana Famiglia 2, but there’s no need to rush! Cast Comment (Sumire’s CV, Kikuko Inoue): I’m Kikuko Inoue and I voiced Sumire. I’m 17 years old, yes I am! So, how was Arcana Famiglia 2? For me, the script for this game was quite interesting so it was really exciting to work on. Sumire’s kindness and strength as a mother, along with her strict outlook on life came through a lot in her lines. And a lot of the scenes left a strong impression on me. She had a difficult past, but that didn’t matter! She did her best to push forward to the future. I really hope that you all will see that through playing the game. And I even got to play Felicita’s kids! It really is one of the perks of being a voice actor. So I hope you’ll enjoy experiencing that too! Thank you so much, everyone!

And she even has a partner. She’s a character with a lot of intimate lovey-dovey lines and getting her character profile even made my palms sweat. But we just wrapped up today, and I feel pretty satisfied. In the story, she’s already with Vir but after reading through the story, I think like Luca the most right now. The game hasn’t been released as of now, but once it is I think I’ll take the role of Felicita and experience the romantic moments with each of the guys. There really are a lot of characters, so I hope you get to enjoy this game many times. Thank you!

Random night chat

My cousin randomly asked if I write fanfic or not and I was like. Haha yeah I sure do write *sweeps my ancient ass Zelda fic deeper under the couch*

Anyways fucking hits you with a quick thing for World Ender and Infinite Strife, for the funny.

It was a quiet night in the world of Arcaea, perhaps even more quiet than usual. Aside from the entire commotion caused by a certain airship captain and a navigator from Lanota, there isn’t much for World Ender to do aside from the usual paperwork. But “usual” for him means sitting in place from morning to late night, and even later whenever he has to attend a duel request from Guests. But the point is, he is done with work, and he is more than ready to go and rest from sticking his eyes into those pieces of paper now.

But strangely, he isn’t that sleepy yet, and so he found himself wandering into the garden that Arcana Eden had been taking care of, and lay down on a patch of grass.

He looked up to the sky, head empty: “night” is just a figurative term in Arcaea, where the sky is perpetually white for as far as anyone could see, and the only notable detail aside from that are the streams of Light and Conflict memory shards floating in the sky, ever so occasionally twinkling like the “stars'' he had seen in several memories stored in the castle. 

“Oh? Don’t expect to see you here.” Interrupted by the voice, World Ender annoyingly looked up from his spot. “Ah. Hello, Infinite Strife.” He said as he noticed the girl with a pink rose growing over her eye standing near him.

“Hello hello!” The girl, Infinite Strife, exclaimed, “I thought you would go to sleep at this time?” She asked as she flopped over next to him.

“Don’t feel sleepy, so I figured I should probably visit Eden’s garden for once.” World Ender answered.

“Riiiiiiight, pretty sure this is the first time you’re here since Eden introduced it to us?” Strife noted, before smirking, “I just honestly find it remarkable that our ‘residential sleepy boy’ finally decided to go anywhere but his office or the living quarters.”

“Oh shut it,” He refuted “Isn’t that better than Ms. ‘I work and sleep anywhere but in my own office or the living quarters’?” “No it isn’t!” She denied.

“Yes it is.”

Strife huffed, turning away from World Ender. It was quite awkwardly quiet after that, until Infinite Strife began talking again “...Glad to see that you’re outside enjoying yourself for once.” 

“Whatever you say.”

“I’m kinda serious when I said that, you know?” She continued “It’s pretty concerning knowing that the only places you ever go to is work and sleep… And maybe occasional duels but that felt like a once in forever thing, and we’re basically immortal, Ender!”

“You have to take care of yourself, you know? Things getting too repetitive might make you lose your mind! Common, have we learned nothing from the incident with Ether Strike and Axium Crisis!?” She ranted on, yet World Ender didn’t answer, opting to let the conversation die out by itself. 

After that comment, Infinite Strife turned towards the eternally white sky that he had been looking at. The silence between them now felt much less awkward, and now that she had the time to admire the sky, she had to admit: that though it may not be the most beautiful sky in the Tower, it was more than enough for her.

“Hey, World Ender…” She said, yet heard no reply from her companion. She quickly glanced over to him, only to find out that he had already fallen asleep for god knows how long. “...” She paused in surprise, before softly sighing “Oh nevermind, you need rest anyways.” and returned her gaze to the sky. Soon, she found her eyelids slowly dropping, and she decided to close her eyes for a short while.

…

That next morning, Arcana Eden found herself pausing as she looked at her fellow friends, Infinite Strife, and World Ender, sleeping soundly on a patch of grass in the middle of the garden.

“Well, first time seeing this,” Pentiment commented. “Never expected to see Ender anywhere outside of his office.” “There’s a first time for everything I guess.” She chuckled lightly.

Just five! I haven’t actually published very many (obviously) but maybe I will in the future :-)

2. What’s your total AO3 word count?

40,450 apparently!!

3. Which fandoms do you write for?

These days, just F1 RPF. I used to write for other fandoms (the other published fics on my AO3 are for The Arcana, if any of y’all know that lol)

4. Which are your top 5 fics by kudos?

Given that I literally have five published…

- fallingforyou (random Lestappen word vomit)

- Enchanted (Lando’s Version) (little Landoscar drabble thing)

- The Magician (The Arcana - I wrote this one unemployed summer, mostly while wine drunk, aged maybe 22)

- Grimoire (The Arcana)

- Eridanus (The Arcana - this had potential but I never finished it teehee)

5. Do you reply to your comments? Why or why not?

YES! I don’t get very many, and appreciate each and every one! It makes me feel validated ngl 😅 i love engaging with other people who have things to say about something I create. Like, that’s so cool right?!

6. Which of your fics has the angstiest ending?

Honestly, none of them. I’m a sucker for a happy ending, so I will be tying up all loose ends to finish my fics. Maybe I’ll say Enchanted (Lando’s Version) purely because it doesn’t really have an ending - just a “perhaps”.

7. Which of your fics has the happiest ending?

I guess fallingforyou. I think it ends on a fairly hopeful note.

8. Do you get hate on your fics?

Not so far! I don’t think I have enough of an audience to generate hate comments, so I’m grateful for that lol

9. Do you write smut?

I do! Not necessarily very well, mind. It’s not often very dirty, more romantic smut. Is that a thing? It is now.

10. Do you write crossovers?

Nope. That’s some big brained behaviour and simply is not for me. I can’t keep up with one fandom, let alone multiple lmao much respect to those of y’all who manage it!!

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not to my knowledge. Like I say, I don’t think I have enough reach.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Nope - for reasons above!

13. Have you ever co-written a fic?

Not really. Although I help out my beloved Lola ( @twinkodium ) on hers, if that counts

LAWD i do not have one 💀 currently Lestappen or Brocedes (thanks to @like-pilot-lights for that one hehe)

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish, but probably never will?

Like In Karting, my Lestappen passage of time daydream. Will I ever get to the end? Probably not! Do I love it dearly? Absolutely!

16. What are your writing strengths?

Openings. Like, first lines. I can introduce a scene like nobody’s business. Just don’t ask me to finish it.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Pacing. I desperately want to just get to the point, which makes my fics feel rushed. Pls help me fix this.

18. What are your thoughts on writing in other languages in fics?

Besties i don’t even write well in English 💀 I feel like a lot of the time, it serves no great purpose. Especially if it’s randomly inserted google translate phrases that nobody speaking that language would ever actually use.

I guess like Harry Potter or One Direction, circa 2010 lol

20. What’s your favourite fic that you’ve written?

One that I published anonymously of the Dead Dove: Do Not Eat variety. I love it so much - it’s genuinely the only fic of mine that I read back and actually enjoy. I usually just publish my work and leave it there.

First of all, let me just start by saying that, after actively playing with the Arcana Game, my idea of Raniya grew farther and farther away from how the MC interacted and was portrayed in relation to the characters. Therefore, I’ve decided to diverge from the canonicity, and I started to envision Raniya more as an outsider rather than Asra’s apprentice, with a backstory quite different from what happened to the Apprentice. (It touches in some points, but otherwise the premises are completely different).So, as far as my Raniya is concerned,  she wasn’t the apprentice to Asra, but rather Nadia’s handmaiden, the one under her service before Portia was hired.

When she was 5 years old, Raniya found her brother practicing with the bullwhip close to their parents’ tent, and fascinated by that weapon, so graceful and yet so lethal, she begged him to teach her how to use it. In time she got better and better, and now, as an adult, she can be truly dangerous. Those who know her are aware of how lethal she is with her whip in her hand. It’s her main weapon for self defense AND attack, and it’s almost impossible for her to be without it. When she sleeps, she keeps it underneath her pillow.

Proficient in playing the violin: While living in her husband’s harem, when she was 18 years old and pregnant with Kara, she took a liking in playing the violin, to confort herself from her solitude and also distract herself from the complication her pregnancy brought. Now she plays it whenever she can, usually to accompany her sisters-in-law dancing.

HAIR: Obsidian Black with a blue hue, thick, long, wavy, usually braided.

EYES: Icy Grey, big, with thick eyelashes, a little droopy in shape.

SCARS/PIERCING/TATTOO: Raniya bears ten whipping scars on her back, consequences of the interrogation that took place after the death of Count Lucio. She always covers them, and it’s almost impossible to see her with her back completely bared.

PARENTS: Yusra Al-Yassin (mother), Fahim Al-Yassin (father);

SIBLINGS: Halim Al-Yassin (older brother) and Fahran Al-Yassin (younger brother);

RELATIVES: Her son, Kara Erhan Al-Yassin, son of  Gökhan IV, the Sultan of Arsan and the Vast Sand Sea of Shahin;

PETS: Enlil, her black Arabian Stallion, offspring of her first horse, Kamaria;

CHARACTER ALIGNEMENT: Lawful Evil

PERSONALITY: Raniya is aloof, self-controlled, pragmatic, no nonsense and with a very strong personality. She’s a passionate , resourceful and assertive woman, not afraid to work hard for what she wants, but also not afraid to resort to whatever it takes to achieve the results she expects to reach. 

She’s very logical, and like to approach problems with an analytical and calculating mind, not allowing her emotions to get in the way. She can come across as detached and threatening, especially when she needs to be, and she is not above to use strong or illegal measures to obtain what she wants. 

She calculates almost everything she does, and because of this she has a hard time being spontaneous. Letting her emotions (and her true motivations) escape from the façade she shows to the world is perceived by her as a huge faux pas on her side, and to show even a hint of weakness is something she would not forgive herself for. 

Raniya hates to be in the spotlight, per her choice, and feels more confortable in pulling the strings from the shadow, where she has more freedom to act according to her wishes and she feels she has more control of the situation.

She’s quite serious, and her smile are rare, usually kept only for the people she loves,  and but if she finds herself in a situation that calls for her to be pleasant, she has no problem being charming and relatable.

Raniya is intuitive and rather savvy in the manners of people, and this, coupled with her analytical mind and self-preserving personality, brings her to easily manipulate others, if she deems the situation to be appropriate. 

Due to her being a professional poisoner and potioneer, she is meticulous in all aspects of her life, and doesn’t like to leave anything to chances.

When it comes to her relationship to other people, she has a very hard time opening up to people and make friends, because of her incapability of trusting someone, if not after a long time. But if she takes a person in her heart and/or under her wing, in due time she becomes completely loyal and devoted to them, to the point of risking of hurting herself in the process. 

Due to her past, she’s terrified by the idea of being in love and all the implication that this entails, and for this she basically blocks all her emotions behind a mask of aloofness and apparent carelessness. She’s uneasy with her emotions, and become (to her great embarassment) a huge dork, when it comes to express how she feels.

Due to the fact that she doesn’t have many people that loves her, she cherishes the few she has dearly. She is a very hard woman, not used to receive affection or being affectionate with people, but when the few walls around her personality are parted by the people she loves, she is capable of showing great compassion and heart; this is especially true in regards of her son, Kara, who she loves dearly and helds in high regard and respect, regardless of the circumstances of his conception and birth. He’s the apple in his mother’s eyes, and because Raniya is sure he’s going to be her only child (because, no way she will go through the nightmare that was her first pregnancy ever again willingly), she is highly protective of him and highly secretive. A casual acquaintaince would never guess that Raniya is actually a mother, and even Julian, while being in a relationship with her, didn’t know about Kara. 

Phew, that was a long ass paragraph! I wi add a few things here and there, as well as her backstory, but where i live it’s very late right now, so i will do it tomorrow!
