Someone should play around more with the fact that Laurance is the universe’s chosen special punching bag for throwing people into other dimensions and timelines. Laurance has canonically been transported into other universes. Someone should play around with that more, put him in even more worlds. someone should make an au where the mind of MCD!Laurance gets transported into the body of a Mystreet Laurance in the middle of highschool, and now this grown-ass traumatized medieval fantasy man has to deal with the challenges of highschool drama and college and chemistry homework. and everything that happens in season 6. MCD Laurance should be there to witness and participate in the events of when angels fall methinks. someone should draw that

Hey so y'all know how Garroth asks Aph if she's sure about taking in Levin? Because her duties as a lord might get in the way? Do you ever think about how he was raised? And how maybe he's looking at Levin and seeing another kid who might suffer bc his parent is too busy being important to love him, and he's afraid? Because he knows (or at least REALLY wants to believe) Aphmau wouldn't do it on purpose, but then again, part of him still wants to believe his father didn't either? And the way he IMMEDIATELY volunteers to be in Levin's life, IMMEDIATELY steps up at every occasion, gets Zoey involved, ACTIVELY SAYS THAT HE KNOWS LEVIN WILL BE SOMETHING GREAT SOMEDAY TO OTHER PEOPLE?? He's making DAMN sure that kid has people in his life, and that the kid has somebody who unapologetically is proud and enthusiastic about him. I think he's making sure no kid ever has to grow up anything like he did.

thinking about how when Garroth gets back from the Irene Dimension he immediately gives himself the task of fixing up the old docks. thinking about how the docks first came about as a direct result of Aphmaus influence on the town originally, her tasking herself out of her own good-will to fix up and serve the first town she stumbled upon and decided to call home. thinking about how garroth says he fell in love with her as soon as he knew she was a good person. thinking about how Aphmau paving streets and renovating villager houses is what made him love her. thinking about how the docks was Their spot, it's where he saw her off and waited for her to come back from all her out-of-town quests, its where they meet up after Donna and Logan's wedding and where Garroth goes to reflect after Zenix's betrayal and is comforted by her. thinking about how Garroth's love for Aph is ultimately an extension of his love for Phoenix Drop and her love for Phoenix Drop is how she shows she loves him. Thinking about when he comes back from the Irene Dimension, after inadvertently leading the town to decay, blaming himself for Aaron's death, and irreparably damaging his relationship with Aphmau his first course of action is to fix up the docks. He's fucked up and the only thing he feels he can do is what Aphmau did so long ago that proved to him she was a worthy lord and a good person: roll up his sleeves and pick up a hammer and nail.

Dante is THE littlest brother of all time

This man was babied by Aphmau and Garroth and ruthlessly bullied by Laurance

Aphmau braided his hair and dressed him up in all of the fancy dresses Cadenza made her

She doesn’t remember having a childhood but she knows from watching Alexis and Leona play with Kyle, Levin, Malachi, and Yip that it’s a right of passage to dress your brother up in princess dresses

They introduce him as their baby brother

He is 6’3” something next to an itty bitty woman but he is her tiny little baby brother

He only looks like a little brother next to Garroth and Laurance and barely with Laurance

He is the Phoenix Drop baby brother

They don’t care if he is older than some of the residents he is the baby brother

Nicole and Nana both got the “if you hurt my baby brother” talk but it honestly didn’t scare either of them

Nicole knows no fear as a young adult and Nana was a grown woman with a husband, daughter, and step son she is not going to break Dante’s heart

Aphtober day 1: together

Yeah so I saw the prompt "together" and couldn't stop thinking of Levin and his many parents but also his music box. Matilda never got to see him grow up, but l like to think she'd be proud of him for becoming lord like he rightfully should have.

She'd also be happy to know he's so well loved by so many, yet her music box is still a part of him :)

crack baby laurance headcanons

- laurance was found like a rat on the street. basically baby cadenza came home one day with laurance tucked under her arm like "can we keep him??? 🥺🥺"

- for a guard, laurance fights DIRTY. yes, he has probably the most professional training in the region, and made the jury of nine list. HOWEVER, he did that to make a grade. when he's in an actual fight, defending what he believes in, he is NOT fighting fair.

- laurance doesn't really remember his bio parents. however, they're from Tu'la, and that's why he has a darker skin tone. I hc laurance as Brazilian, but in the world map i've made of mcd, Tu'la is basically south america.

- what he does remember of his parents is this one song his mother used to sing him. it's in a native Tu'layan language.

- laurance would climb literally everything in Meteli. whether it be trees, houses, the well in the middle of town, both of his feet were NEVER on the ground at the same time.

- cadenza was usually "in charge" of laurance. he would play pranks on her by hiding right when they got called home for dinner. she would end up panicking, and then laurance would have to apologize to both her and hayden.

- laurance eats worms. still does it occasionally as a sad excuse for a party trick. he also used to run around Meteli stepping on ants.

- his wadrobe resembles that of a pirate. Meteli is right on the coast and lots of pirates stop there to restock. sometimes, they end up trading their clothes for other supplies. laurance found their outfits to be extremely cool and bought a lot of pirate clothes for himself.

- cadenza used to feed the stray cats in Meteli. laurance would chase them around with a big ass stick. he only stopped when one time he fell while running and almost impaled himself. cadenza will never let him live that down.

- also BONUS; i mentioned this in my laurance hair essay but it has to be said again. when laurance was 8 his hair was really long and unkempt. one day, him and cadenza were playing in the backyard and she pushed him a bit too hard. he ended up getting his hair stuck in ths chicken wire fence and hayden had to cut him free. after that, he never let anyone touch his hair.
