“Okay okay-“ smiled Sebastian, leaning backwards against the nearby wall of the undercroft. “I dare you…” he paused, thinking of what next to say. “To send Amit Thakkar an owl full of belch powder!”

“Godric’s Heart Sebastian that’s awful!” You exclaimed, rolling your eyes.

Sebastian tsk’d, waving a finger in front of your face. “Ah-ah-ah you choose dare, remember?” He smirked.

With a sigh you admitted your defeat, reluctantly producing a blank piece of parchment to begin your nasty prank. Despite your reluctance to this task, Sebastian had welcomed you in to the undercroft even with all his prejudice towards you in the beginning- part of you felt like you had to go along with his dare even if it was a bit cruel (and a little funny).

Having never played many muggle games growing up, you’d thought now would be a better time than ever to introduce Sebastian to the wonderful word of ‘Truth or Dare’. Part of you regretted that decision now, with how wonderfully he was adapting to the game already.

“Alright Sebastian- Truth or dare?” You ask, not looking up from your letter.

“Truth.”

“Got any one in the castle you fancy?”

Sebastian’s silence is what finally drew you from your letter, looking up to meet his flushed gaze.

Part of you had expected a ‘no.’ After all, Sebastian never struck you as the romancing type, but seeing his face dusted in pink wasn’t unwelcome- in fact you quite liked the look on him. A voice in the back of your head urged you to make him blush more often.

You raised your eyebrow at him, prompting him to answer.

Sebastian whispered something, you could not make it out.

“What?” You asked, staring at him confusedly.

“You.” He whispered.

“Me what?”

“You- I Like you!” Sebastian exclaimed, his voice raising in frustration at your obliviousness.

Oh.

That went from zero to one hundred.

There was silence for what felt like eternity before you let out a small chuckle, taking a sip of the pumpkin juice Sebastian had brought the two of you.

He stared at you, his eyes a mixture of emotions.

Sebastian began hurriedly covering up his earlier confession. “I know you probably think that strange- I mean a boy liking another boy? Weird right anyways-“

“I like you too.” You said, staring at him over your cup of juice.

That effectively stopped Sebastian’s rambling, he peered at you- bewildered.

“But… but we’re both men?”

“And?” You asked. “Back where I’m from It’s quite normal for boys our age to fool around with each other before we marry- course’ I feel like we should all just be able to marry whom ever we want, never really found myself fancying girls.” You ranted, waving your hand animatedly in the air. All the while Sebastian stared at you, wide eyed and curious.

“…really?” He asked after a moment. You nodded your head, very serious.

“Have you ever… kissed another boy?” Sebastian asked.

“Oh yeah, plenty- a few girls here and there too…” you smiled, leaning in closer to Sebastian.

It seemed impossible to shock Sebastian any further yet here you were.

“And… fooling around… that too?”

“Occasionally… once or twice.”

Again there was silence, Sebastian staring at you intently.

“Could you…” Sebastian paused, thinking of the best way to go about this increasingly awkward conversation. “… teach me?”

It was your turn to be shocked now, staring at him for a moment.

“Teach you?”

“To like… you know- fool around…” said Sebastian, averting his gaze to the floor, that adorable pink flush returning.

You smiled at him, finding his clumsiness adorable.

“Sure.”

Tentatively, as if afraid of scaring away a small creature, you reach your hand over to Sebastian, placing your palm over his and guiding his hand to your waist.

“Like this okay?” You hum, looking up at Sebastian who swallowed heavily and nodded his head.

“I’m gonna- lean down here…” you explain with a grunt, shifting yourself backwards so that you were almost laying on the ground with your elbow propped up to support your weight, Sebastian’s hand still on your waist.

“Now I want you to put one leg over me… kinda like a broom.” You explained, watching with a smile as Sebastian clumsily followed your orders, straddling your legs.

“Good.” You praised, moving Sebastian’s other hand to cage in your body against the floor, your own tangling itself into his hair.

Sebastian’s mouth was slightly agape, his pupils blown wide and his eyes alight with excitement.

“This alright?” You asked, looking up at him to make sure he was still doing good.

“Very.” He breathed. “Could we uh…” he trailed off.

“Get to the kissing part?” You asked with a smirk.

“Yes.” Said Sebastian. “That… Please.”

Using your hand buried in his hair you guided Sebastian towards you, his head dipping to meet your lips in an inexperienced kiss.

It was clumsy and awkward, a mess of teeth clashing against each other and rushed apologies from Sebastian’s mouth.

Your chest was alight and if you hadn’t known any better you’d expected fire works to burst straight from your torso like one of Garreth’s wild potions.

“(y/n)…” breathed Sebastian into the kiss, his hand digging into the fabric on your waist. You pulled him closer deepening the kiss as you opened your mouth.

Pulling away from the embrace you look up breathlessly at Sebastian, his lips plump and swollen from all the kissing.

“Can I take your cloak off?” You ask quietly, your voice echoing in the undercroft. “It’d make this whole thing a lot easier.” And before you could even reach a hand up to unbuckle the clasp of Sebastian’s cloak he’d beaten you to the chase, practically ripping the fabric off his shoulders as he tossed it behind the two of you.

You looked at him in shocked silence, a smirk tugging at your lips.

“Eager are we?” You asked.

“Hush.” Said Sebastian, taking the lead as he bent down, his free hand not on your waist going to your chest, wrapping around your torso and pulling you in closer still.

Sebastian enveloped you in a kiss once more. Your mouth opened into his, turning messy as you searched for Sebastian’s tongue, the undercroft filling with the noises of breathless moans.

The sound of someone clearing their throat pulled you from the moment, Sebastian’s head whipping around to meet the intruders.

“Ominis!” He smiled forcefully, dropping his hands causing you to fall and smack your head against the old tiled floor with a ‘thump!’.

You groaned in pain, Sebastian reaching out his hands to help you before stopping himself, looking back at Ominis.

“Sebastian.” Ominis growled. “Are you seriously snogging a girl in the undercroft? I thought this was our place!”

“No! I mean yes! I mean-“ floundered Sebastian, helping you sit up from the floor and whispering apologies into your ear.

“I just… I really like this guy Ominis.” Sebastian mumbled, looking at the floor embarrassedly, not realizing his words till they’d already slipped out.

“Guy?” Asked Ominis, his voice suddenly soft.

“(y/n). I’m with (y/n).” Admitted Sebastian, his face that adoring shade of pink once more.

Ominis was silent for a long moment processing this new information.

“Okay… it’s- it’s okay Sebastian just… just go make out somewhere else yeah?” Ominis said, his voice suddenly soft and as soon as the tender moment happened it disappeared, the blonde boys voice snarky once more. “And if I ever catch you snogging in here again I’ll have your head, got it?”

“Very.” Said Sebastian with a small smirk, relieved at his friends response. He wrapped his hand around yours, hastily grabbing his discarded cloak and standing up. “Now I’m gonna…”

“Please do get your sorry excuse out of here.” Scoffed Ominis. “I’ll have to disinfect everything, who knows what you two’ve been getting up to.”

Fake killing Blitzø anon here, back at it again:

Yeah, saying that it was cheap and a sign of failure was my point.

Because they already failed. The fanbase mayorily HATES Blitz's guts to the point of vitriol and constantly woob-ify Stolas. If they try to get them together when the fanbase still doesn't see anything good in Blitzø (after all Spindlewhores made such a thing as a “I hate Blitzø" party) there are several people who won't like Viv's new favorite literally fetishized ship. So they need a way to salvage it. But what way do they have to make Blitzø likeable again?

I do genuinely hope I'm wrong tho. But still it seems as the more likely posibility... And in line with what Viv would do. After all Look My Way was completely unnecessary, and was originally a song about Stolas and his relationship with his daughter. But of course, we needed more Owl Pain™.

I think that if they see Blitz groveling on the ground and apologizing profusely to Stolas for the things the owl should apologize for, they will be content anyway.

I am actually pretty new to the fandom, so I don't know all the lore behind the songs, I didn't even know that Look my way was a fansong originally. That's also why at the beginning I didn't even notice all the woob-ification of Stolas. The part about their childhood was very random during my first watch too, and looking back at it, there's no reason to show just how pitiable Stolas is. He's got a pretty good life. It would be a different situation if, say, he was trying to conceive an heir but couldn't do so. That way he would have something serious to worry about (Paimon's reaction that was hinted during the flashback). But I digress.

Back to Blitz, I hope they won't fake kill him off just to make Stolas more pitiable (there's really no need) and to make the fandom like Blitz again... From what I've understood of The Vivzie Lore, she would be content if the people she thought did her wrong (but it was the other way around in truth, something that's mirroring the Stoliz situation both intentionally or unintentionally) came back to her and apologized profusely. Which, of course, is something normal intelligent irl people would never do lol so she projects and will make Blitz do it in her show (I hope I'm making sense).

So, Blitz could probably be compelled to grovel if he was faced with a near-death experience. I don't know if, when you said "fake killing" you meant from just a narrative standpoint (i.e. the audience thinks he's dead but he actually wasn't all along) or also from a plot point (he is killed and then resurrected with magic). In the first case, I would agree with you (even if I still hope they won't go through that route).

Regulus sat on his and James' couch watching a television show that Sirius had recommended to him. It was decently late at night but Regulus was a night owl unlike James who was.. probably in the kitchen?

Come to think of it he hadn't heard from James for an hour or two which was uncommon because he and James were usually together when they were both home.

"James!" Regulus called, his voice bouncing around the walls of the house.

"..Yeah!" He heard James yell back from across the apartment from what Regulus guessed to be the bedroom.

"Oh, just wanted to check on you!" He answered after hearing James' shout. Regulus heard James' footsteps as he ran from the two's shared bedroom. He emerged in the door way and instantly hoped onto the couch next to Regulus.

He wrapped am arm around James' shoulder giving him a little squeeze.

"Hey baby," Regulus smiled at his boyfriend. "I was wondering where you went, hadn't heard from you in a while."

"Yeah, I was just relaxing and r-reading," he said with a yawn. James rested his head on Regulus' shoulders closing his eyes. Regulus smiled and turned his attention back to the show still playing in the background.

After a few minutes he started rubbing James' shoulder and back in a comforting sort of manner.

James melted to the touch, his body fully relaxing. James deserved some rest after the stress he had been put under that entire week with the war and things.

James sighted happily as Regulus continued to rub his back, up and down. It startled Regulus when James yelped when he had started to trace on his lower back with his finger.

Regulus turned to look at James who had jolted away from Regulus.

"What was that?" Regulus asked James, perplexed.

"N-nothing," James (obviously) lied. Regulus internally sighed. James was awful at lying, especially when it was about him.

Regulus went through the options on what could have happened to make James yelp. He could be in pain and Regulus accidentally hurt him or touched something that hurt.

He could have gotten startled by the soft touch on his back and yelped in surprise. Or-

"I didn't know you were ticklish on your back," Regulus smirked at James.

"I didn't know someone could be ticklish on their back.." James confessed as a light blush dusted his face.

Regulus smiled an idea forming in his head. "Come here," he said and opens up his arms so that James would be laying in his arms.

With some hesitation James did crawl into Regulus' arms placing his head in the crook of his neck.

Regulus started with some more light tracing on the same spot that he had touched earlier near the small of James' back. James gasped and hide his face further into Regulus' neck.

Regulus moved his hands further up James' back paying close attention to how James reacted to different spots. He started poking at his spine and lower back making James let out a muffled squeal.

"Does this tickle?" Regulus asked teasingly.

"N-noho.." James replied quietly. Moments later James started to giggle some high pitched giggles.

"You suuure it doesn't tickle? I know it dooess~" Regulus teased relentlessly. James shook his head now squirming a considerable amount more. He wrapped his arm around Regulus to keep from trying to grab Regulus' hands.

"Ohoho gohohod," James laughed as Regulus poked and scribbled on his ribs, James' elbows snapped down to cover his ribs.

Regulus poked the back of James' ribs instead, finding a 'giggle spot' on one of the lower ones.

"Ohh, is this a sweet spot? Hmm? Did I find a giggle spot?" He said in a baby voice to make James blush more.

"Nohoho it- ack! Ohoho gohohosh!" James squealed when Regulus dug his fingers into the sweet spot.

Regulus slowly eased up on James knowing that James was all tickled out. He listened to James' quiet residual giggles and huffs as James relaxed again.

Regulus returned to just rubbing James' back, his eyes slowly drifting shut. His breathing evened out along with James'.

The last thing he remembered was looking down at James.

My name is Akashi Keiji,

I am the current manager of the [Unknown name] Middle School Volleyball club, tho I am thinking of playing in High School.

So there is this guy on the team, and he's probably the sweetest guy ever. I don't really like to talk a lot but he always tries to make me feel included whenever he can.

He's a joy to be around, a star in a dark night's sky.

It's weird to admit it but I think I got a pretty big crush on him. I don't know if he feels the same tho.

I've received lots of love confessions from both boys and girls but none of them were him. He also has his fair share of admirers, being the star player of the Volleyball team and all.

But he's never dated anyone of them apparently.

Today is Valentine's day, and I brought a rose to school for him. I wish I knew what the best way to confess to him was. I was alone in class around lunchtime when I heard him calling me,

"AGAASHI!" He was hiding a big bouquet of flowers behind his back, my heart already started racing when he said my name but when I saw the flowers I couldn't help but hope they were for me.

"Not to sound rude but you're into guys right?" my heart fell out of my chest when he asked that.

Be cool Akashi, he might actually ask you out. Be COol, BE F*CKING COOL!

"Hello, Bokuto-san. I am actually, why?"

F*cking nailed it.

"So like, if I ever wanted to ask a guy out, how would I do it?", when he he said that my heart stopped.

I could have thrown up right then and there.

Getting rejected indirectly somehow hurts more than when someone says it to your face.

But I answered his question the best I could. He deserves only the best in my opinion. And then he said something completely out of pocket.

"D-Do you wanna marry me!?"

I was taken aback when he said that and pushed the bouquet in my face.

And then I couldn't help but laugh, I felt bad about it but that was the only reaction I could give him. He looked completely mortified. Before the situation could escalate any further I pulled out the rose I brought for him and asked him out.

My face felt so hot it may have been on fire.

I actually told him I wanted to marry him someday!?

Why would I do that!? We're in middle school for god's sake!

But he didn't make fun of me for saying it. He never made fun of me for anything.

He picked me up that evening, he looked so cute, his hair was drowned in even more gel than

usual, he looked like a snowman with that jacket of his.

I bet I had such a dumb smile, his was so dorky I couldn't look away. I teased him a little about him asking me to marry him, I mean who wouldn't? He asked me to hold my hand and even through our gloves I could feel the warmth of his hand, I kinda wanted to snuggle him and hold his arm like we were an actual couple. As we walked to the Valentine's festival my heart couldn't help but race like crazy. I kept telling myself to act cool but it was so difficult to do in a situation like this!

We got something to eat, I sketched a street pertormer, he complimented me. On our way to the Ferris Wheel I spotted a shooting game with a gigantic owl plush that you could win.

"Bokuto-san, can I ask you for something?", I hate asking for stuff but I absolutely hate shooting games.

"Of course, Akaashi!" that damn stupid smile of his makes it so hard to not just melt right there, on the spot.

"Could you, maybe try and um... win me that owl?", I asked looking away, again if I wasn't so

bad at shooting games I would have done it myself.

The look he got of his face was one of total concentration, he tried a few times and cussed under his breath a few times, he won me a huge panda instead of the owl but I wasn't complaining, it was still something I could cuddle with at night imagining it's him. The Ferris Wheel was a little awkward but... he just makes me feel so many feelings I really didn't mind being that close to me.

"You're still sleeping over right? I don't want you to walk alone this late at night", I asked, he's slept over at my place so many times that we now have a bunch of his clothes at my house so that he doesn't have to bring stuff over every time.

"Yeah I'm not a fan of the dark really" , after he said

that, my brain started connecting dots, a perfect plan,

"Wanna go to the love tunnel?"

I am so so so sorry this took so long, anon. I started this and life got in the ay and then the holidays came around. But I finally got around to finishing this! Consider it a late valentines day gift ^_^

3 and 8, "snuggle weather" and "warm soup"

To say Cassandra was exhausted was an understatement. Her ankle was still tender, but the royal medic insisted the cast had to come off today. She didn't see why it mattered, she would still be wheelchair bound for weeks to come. And even worse, there was a terrible storm brewing so she couldn't even spend the evening mapping like she had originally planned. Normally she liked storms; autumn storms were the best. The storms in Corona were freezing thanks to the coastal winds, which made it perfect to snuggle up in a blanket. And she always enjoyed watching the lightning split the sky. Something about it was soothing.

Unfortunately this storm was different. Both Rapunzel and her father were stuck out in it. According to the briefing she was coming back from, Rapunzel had decided evading her security was a good idea and her father had gone after her to make sure she came home safe. Thank goodness she'd put on a pot of lamb stew to simmer before the briefing; she was now far too tired to start cooking. As Cassandra entered her room, she heard Owl ruffle his feathers and give her a soft sleepy hoot in greeting.

"Hey. Go back to sleep for now." She whispered, giving him a boop, "But wake me when the stew's done." Her wheelchair rolled right beside her bed, Cassandra stood up and let herself fall onto the...body??

"Heyyyyy get oooff..." a man's voice whined and Cass jumped back. Instantly, Owl hissed at the intruder as he sat up.

"Fitzherbert." Cassandra snarled, "What the fiddlestick are you doing in my bed???"

"Calm down, Cass, I just woke up, gimme a second." Eugene mumbled tiredly, rubbing his face to wake himself up. After a stretch that was far too long to be real, Eugene finally spoke, "The girls are cleaning my room, and yours is comfier."

"Well they're probably done by now." Cassandra rolled her eyes, "So go nap in your own bed."

"I'd love to, but I'm too tired to walk all that way." Eugene shrugged. Owl snapped his beak at Eugene and puffed his feathers so he looked nearly twice as big. Even though the sight was clearly a display of aggression, Cassandra always found it so adorable.

"Easy, Owl." Cassandra carefully limped over to Owl and stroked his head, "Rapunzel's boyfriend needs his eyes for preening. He preens way more than you do, after all."

Eugene opened his mouth to make a retort back, but then he finally got a good whiff of what was on the fire.

"Ohhh no, Cass!" He scolded, "You know what happens when you cook!" He made a move to "save" the pot, but Cass yanked him back.

"It's lamb stew, Fitzherjerk. For your information it's the one thing I can actually cook. And it's almost done, so don't touch it." She snarked at him.

"Wait, something you can cook? This I gotta taste!" Before Cassandra could stop him, Eugene made a beeline for the pot again and eagerly tasted it.

"Holy moly, this is delicious!" Eugene marveled, "How'd you learn to make this? This is even better than when Mis Claire made it at the orphanage!"

Cassandra blinked in surprise and smiled at him. No one had ever asked about her stew before.

"It's an old family recipe...I think. The secret ingredient is Saporian black pepper." She answered. She leaned over the pot a bit and gave the stew a stir, carefully checking if it was ready.

"You think? What, are you and Cap a little fuzzy on family recipes?" He asked, quirking an eyebrow.

"I've been making this since before my Dad found me." She explained, "Mother...my mum...I think she taught me. I remember standing over the pot, with my hands on her wrists as she was stirring."

"That...that sounds nice..." Eugene mumbled.

"It was." Even though Cassandra wasn't looking at Eugene, he could tell that she was smiling sadly. Shoot, his plan was failing! Gotta think of something to avoid missing parents....

"What are you doing?" Cassandra asked when she noticed him rummaging through her shelves.

"Looking for a good book, but all I can find is maps and history stuff." He griped, "Oh my god, of course you're a Seven Dragons fan."

"Hey! That's the best book of all time!" Cassandra defended, giving him a playful glare.

"Oh come on, it's the worst book in the Flynn Rider series! He's barely in it!" He protested, "That's why I only read it once."

"That's because it's Ramona's story, not-" Cassandra began, but then cut herself off, "Wait....you only read it one time?! How long ago?!"

Eugene bit his lip to hide his smirk. He had her right where he wanted her.

"I dunno, like ten years ago, why?" He asked, maintaining the perfect air of nonchalance.

"Oh that's nonsense, we're reading it now. Get in the blanket. But don't get any stew on my bed." Cass instructed. Eugene finally let himself smirk once Cassandra turned her back towards him. She fell for it, hook line and sinker. Hopefully this would be enough to keep her from worrying about Rapunzel and the Captain until they came back.

RO.Bug

Sayta & Neska are two cockroach sisters working as bounty hunters to put some food on the table. Sometimes Neska’s best friend Artun also tags along to help them out. They all live in the remains of a human house, where a lot of other bugs built their towns and cities.

This is the project that currently I’m putting the most focus on, working on the script and hopefully soon - drawing the pages of the comic!

RO.Bug: The Sinking Ruins

This is a project of a game that I worked on for my thesis. It takes place in the same universe as RO.Bug of course, but it focuses on a different location and different characters.

Isel is a moth traversing the old ruins on their robotic wings, trying to find a way back to their kingdom and to the man who took their wings in the first place.

RO.Bug: TSR on ToyHouse

I also had ideas for multiple spin-offs that take place in RO.Bug universe, mostly games with a couple webcomics, but right now I’m focusing on the two RO.Bug projects mentioned here so I won’t introduce the rest until I have more concrete concepts.

Purgatorium

A concept that started out as an idea for a comic, that later turned into an idea for a game due to its complexities and different endings. I don’t want to spoil it too much, so all you need to know about this for now is that it takes place in the afterlife and the main character wants to learn about their life and how they died.

MetalHero / Stage Heroes

I’m still not 100% set on the title for this one because I’m still looking into what isn’t copyrighted yet or how many protagonists I want to include (it started out with one but as more characters arrived the more it seemed this story could benefit from either having multiple POVs or being an anthology series)

It’s about superheroes with powers based on music - different genres, specific bands, artists or even instruments and songs. One of the heroes we follow is MetalHero (again, probably the name will be changed bc this one might be copyrighted), a friendly silly guy who just happens to be into metal - and also everyone in his city knows his identity and is chill about it~

It will start off as a webcomic, even though it could benefit from being an animated series.

Currently I don’t focus too much on this project, because the bugs take all of my time lmao but if you wanna see some of my old artwork featuring these guys, you can scroll down my instagram :D (I probably posted about them here too, but it’s easier to find them there) also if you have any questions regarding this series, feel free to ask~ !

What would be your voice fancasts for your version of Donkey Kong/Donkey Kong Country franchise?

Fun fact: the reason I never answered your DM to me with this question is mostly because I was trying to figure out who would be best for who, but also because I was trying to decide if I should make this a public thing or not, so thanks for helping make that choice. XD

I know this says fancasts for my version, but I went more of a "general voice headcanon" route for most of these. Some also have the actual fancasts, or at the very least the people I wouldn't be upset about having be the VAs even if the voice winds up different from what I hear in my head.

I could really only figure out the Kongs, so uh... Ye. Also, all the underlined names are linked to pages to see more of the stuff they've done!

DK: Mark Fischbach. Zero rhyme or reason, other than I spent a full year drawing practically nothing except DKC characters set to GMOD moments, mostly Markiplier's, so now it's all I hear. However, I would not be mad if Richard Yearwood reprises the role (or even Sterling Jarvis).

Diddy: Ben Schwartz. My Diddy is more teenager-adjacent than most people's probably is (around 14), and I'd be lying if I said my hyperfixation with DuckTales 2017 a couple years back didn't have anything to do with that.

Cranky: This one is surprisingly hard to pin down. Here recently I've been imagining him more with Keith David's voice, but in the past I've also imagined David Tennant, Bernard Cribbins, and Aron Tager (his VA in the cartoon), the latter two of whom have both sadly passed in the last couple of years. I'll also happily take Bill Farmer, tho. For me it all depends on the tone and other factors of the situation presented (eg, an AU, the actual game series, others' interpretations, etc).

Funky: Gotta still be Damon D'Olivera, his VA from the cartoon, but I wouldn't be against Phil LaMarr or Greg Eagles voicing him either.

Candy: I do not hate Joy Tanner's voice for her in the cartoon at all. In fact, like Funky, it's mostly all I can hear for her. If I had to choose someone else to fill the role, it'd probably be Jennifer Hale.

Dixie: I think I had the most trouble with her surprisingly. I didn't necessarily like or hate her voice in the cartoon, but I have to go with Mae Whitman on this one. I was thinking along the lines of how Amity from The Owl House sounds, if you wanna know the thought process.

Wrinkly: Wendie Malick is the only voice I've really actively pictured for my specific version of her. The second I heard the line "Wait---those are MY dumb kids!" in The Owl House, my brain has never let the idea drop. However, if there ever actually is a show version of the DKC series that included her, I would not be against Tress MacNeille being her VA.

Swanky: Will Arnett is just how I hear him by default (I blame DK Vine in part). IDK, similar reasons to Diddy in that it has to do with other fixations of mine colliding into my brain. However, here recently my brain has also been tickled by the idea of James Monroe Iglehart being his voice in a version of the show that actually uses him.

Kiddy: OK, so y'all know how my brain runs. Sadly, sometimes I forget about him. However, I feel like Dee Bradley Baker is a safe bet.

Lanky: Rob Paulsen. IDK, even his normal voice just works.

Tiny: Kristen Schaal, solely because sometimes there's moments of her that cross my mind that make me go "Oh that's Louise Belcher (or Mabel Pines) vibes."

Chunky: Of all the actors, voice or otherwise, I've dug through today to find voices for characters I otherwise couldn't picture... I'ma have to give Chunk the monk Richard Horvitz. It also helps that this is literally one of those VAs I grew up hearing, so I can imagine the role working well, although other VAs mentioned throughout this list could potentially also work well.

Originally the Kongs from the actual DKC series proper is all I was gonna do for now, because it's late and brain hurty, but y'all know me a little better than that. I've got at least two bonus people for y'all.

K. Rool: Similar to a couple of characters above, I'd love it if Benedict Campbell could reprise the role, as he's literally the only voice I've been able to hear for him for years. However, that being said, there are a few others I will accept in his place, being Mark Hamill; Keith David (mentioned above); Clancy Brown; and Alex Hirsch.

DK Jr.: You said it was a fancast for my version, so while I know some people think Junior and our DK are the same person, in this instance I don't. I've racked my brain for a while trying to figure out who I best hear as his voice, and I had songs from a certain Disney animated show playing on loop last night and anyway, long story short, Jeremy Jordan is the headcanon voice for my version of him.

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

I don't, I'm sorry!! When I first started posting on ao3, I answered every comment I got, but as more came in, I realized I was running out of ways to respond and it felt like I was just copy and pasting "thank you so much omg!!!" again and again and it felt awkward and disingenuous. (I meant it tho!! I did!!)

Also I never have any idea how to respond to long essay type comments that were picking the fic apart and highlighting everything they like about it. I ADORE those comments!!! They make me happier than anything else on earth but HOW can I respond to them?? A one liner thanks feels cheap and meaningless, but a long ramble about my own stuff feels arrogant.

So I just stopped replying to comments altogether. But listen please listen!!! I do read them!!! I read every single one of them and I love and appreciate them with all my heart!!! Thank you so so SO much to anybody who's ever left a comment on anything I've written!!!

6. What’s the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

I don't really write angsty endings. I guess atlas and pages both ended on a bit of a bittersweet note? Maybe.

That one ducktales fic Fearless left off on a kinda angsty cliffhanger, only because I never finished it. So it's technically an ending

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Man I dunno most of them are kinda open ended (or unfinished) I suppose A Little Change ended on a sickeningly sweet note. Like disgustingly sweet (because I was 19 and stupid and had no concept of subtlety) Penniless Promises ended with a marriage proposal.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

No the only hate comment I've ever gotten is this one

It kinda annoys me. I consider your first hate comment to be a special milestone in your fanfic writing history. I've been waiting years for this. And then I FINALLY get it but I have no fucking idea what it means.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

I've written bits and pieces over the years but I don't post any of it. I think the last "smut" I posted was weird werewolf knotting shit in like 2017

What kind? Fuckin uhhhhh. It's always very fluffy. Usually there's nothing weird going on. Sometimes there's monsters involved but the monsters are usually massive sweethearts who just want love.

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Yes. A few times. And it's always fucking wattpad. At one point, somebody put my fic through Google translate and reposted it in Spanish. I would have been completely unaware if somebody hadn't messaged me about it.

The process of getting them to take it down was a fucking circus. Their ability to use Google translate suddenly vanished the moment I contacted them.

I reported it and had to go back and forth with Wattpad support because the fic was IN SPANISH, so they just kinda glanced at it and were like "This is not the same thing that you wrote. These are different words. Spanish words." I was losing my MIND!!!!!!

They took it down eventually. Anyway...sorry I went on a tangent, I just think this is a funny story. Moral of the story is there are probably several stolen fics on wattpad and run through translators, and we have no idea. There might be more of mine on there but honestly I do not have the energy to be monitoring the stupid site. I hate wattpad so much its unreal.

As we have just learned from the above story, yes :D!!

But also yeah, some people asked permission to translate my stuff and post it with credit. Sunshine has been translated into Spanish and Ukrainian!

No I can barely manage to write them myself

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?

Undocumented Events of March 23rd. I might update it at some point in the next five years. But I had so many chapters planned that it will probably never reach the ending at the pace I'm going with it. But I love the jungle book husbands. I get back to them at some point in time

16. What are your writing strengths?

Word disease is the worst fucking thing ever but it CAN be a good thing in some circumstances. A huge meaty chunk of a fic. Something to dig into. Having a lot to say can lead to a lot to write. And the more you write, the more likely you'll get some quality stuff in there.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

I repeat. Word disease is the worst fucking thing ever. And when it's coupled with a complexity addiction, UGGH!!! It's a blight on my life. I can't just write a simple straightforward fic, without getting carried away and the ideas just get bigger and bigger. Suddenly I'm implementing more elaborate concepts, scenes that need to be handled delicately. Everything takes absolutely all of my brainpower because I'm a neurotic overthinker who can never just RELAX and write something fun. And I WANT all of it. I want to execute all the plans that exist in my head but then I get overwhelmed by how big and complicated everything has gotten and I get burned out. Which is why things so rarely get done.

I'm a perfectionist. A horrible terrible one. I struggle to write ANYTHING without carefully constructing every individual line of it. Which makes progress so slow and tedious. I get scared to even START fics because I'm afraid I'll make myself feel awful again if they don't turn out good.

My grammar is very imperfect but I'm working on that.

I can be very unnecessarily wordy and take forever to get to the point. I've reread my own stuff and even I have difficulty following it because the sentences just have so many bells and whistles for no good reason. I completely forget a huge chunk of vocab and don't realize they are simpler way to phrase things.

My attempts at executing believable emotional scenes often fall kinda flat. Writing drama is hard but I'm amazed by some people's capability to master it so I'm chipping away at it, hoping to get better.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

I don't really have any thoughts at all about them. Literally none.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

I'd like to say it was Trolls but it was actually Hetalia when I was like 14. But I do everything within my power to distance myself from Hetalia, so I like to say it doesn't count. But....need to be honest.

20. Favourite fic you’ve ever written?

Currently, at this point that I am at, the ones I used to be the most proud of now feel like they were a waste of time. I'm sure that will change again in a few months. How I feel about my own stuff is never consistent. The way that this question is phrased implies a forever favourite. Something I loved then, I love now and will love in future, and that is just never the case.

But also I don't wanna be an Eeyore about it, so I'll say a trance, a dance, a romance perchance?

I really do love my fairy Willow. She's so special to me :D!!

YES!!!! I DO, ACTUALLY!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! I have a whole playlist (and a second one dedicated to him and his son, tho there are some overlaps and some Donut Family songs in the Donato one idk it's like that)

His nickname among the Clowns is Crown. Can also be applied to Souta but this is a Donato song. To me.

The Puppet Master, by King Diamond - again with the clones and puppets. It's not my fault his entire kagune is made of puppet master crosses. Also, last verse? :re 168 to 172, his fight with his son. "The show has come to an end, the master himself is on the stage with his children, the curtain must fall and then the puppets they are gone" it's the fight. it's the final battle, Donato is (seemingly) right there, with his son, he knows he has to end it so he goes. I am soooo sane about this man.

7. What is your deepest joy about writing?

Ohhh what an interesting question! I think what I love most abt writing—why I still write even if it only results in unfinished wips—is… hm how to put this… an execution of an idea? Putting my own spin on a concept? Bringing smth to life from my mind and onto a page? Like I just love thinking about things, and writing gives me a way to share that w other ppl or put it into words, and that’s what’s best about it!

LOL uh the first definition that comes to mind for a piece of writing ‘haunting’ me is in the ‘god why did I write this’ sense, in which case I’d probably say my fanfic from my hetalia days……. A full ten years ago at this point…… But I’m also an advocate for not being ashamed of your writing no matter how old or cringy it is bc we all had to start somewhere right? And it still brought me joy at one point even if it doesn’t anymore, so I wouldn’t exactly say that it really does haunt me per se haha

The other sense of ‘haunting’ is probably ‘I think abt it a lot’ in which case—my wips haunt me. OTL

14. Do you lend your books to people? Are people scared to borrow books from you? Do you know exactly where all your “lost” books are and which specific friend from school you haven’t seen in twelve years still possesses them? Will you ever get them back?

I do! Not as much (read: at all) anymore bc my friends and I have all diverged in terms of preferences and also physical location, but in high school, sometimes I’d even give my kindle acct in order to share ebooks haha.

But I’ve also always been a library person, and my physical collection is exceedingly small. I also don’t tend to reread anything? So I only buy books if there’s a reason I’d want to display it and/or come back to it. And it’s hard to lend books if you don’t own them haha. I would lend them if I had any though!

23. Describe the physical environment in which you write. Be as detailed as possible. Tell me what’s around you as you work. Paint me a picture.

So. Most often I’m on my bed (full size, cheap, IKEA) and on top of my blankets (cheap, Amazon). I do most of my work in bed and lying down lol and also on my phone bc if I waited until I had my computer I would get nothing done. It’s probably either late at night or very early in the morning (bc I am unfortunately both a night owl and an early bird—no sleep for me!), so the light is rather dim. I have several larger stuffed animals w me on my bed (one is ice bear from CN, one’s a weighted dragon plushie, and one’s a really loooong shiba-dog-thing that’s probably close to my height) that I can prop my head up on or squash beneath me, depending on my mood. I also have an extra pillow to put against the wall for if I do decide to do anything while sitting up (currently cuddling it as I write this). A lot of what I own is a shade of blue or green. There’s a string of white Christmas lights around the wall next to my bed bc I can’t stand the brightness of the overhead light. Currently there’s a half-finished quilt rolled up beside me.

Really tho I write anywhere inspiration strikes me. Once I wrote a decent chunk while sitting in my car in the parking lot of a homegoods lol

29. Where do you draw your inspiration? What do you do when the inspiration well runs dry?

Hm… my inspiration probably comes most often from other people! I had a ton of fun with all the sctir prompts I got a while back :) A lot of my favorite ideas that I’ve executed comes from putting a spin on an existing trope or concept, or from seeing smth around tumblr or twitter and wanting to write my own version.

My inspiration well runs dry very often, actually. I’m a huge binge-writer—most of what you see from me is stuff that I wrote within a couple days, which is why most of my fics tend to be short. I’m definitely not one of those ‘write a little bit every day!!’ kind of people—that would never work for me, and kinda drains my soul. Trust me I’ve tried lol (case in point: I managed to do an entire nanowrimo a couple years ago (the whole 50k!) and never touched or looked at that fic ever again. Was a fantastic exercise, but just not the way I work). Usually if I have an active wip, I do try to go back to it every couple days, just to make sure I don’t forget about it entirely haha. If I’m not actively working on an idea, I try not to let it bother me too much; the waiting is as much a part of my writing process as the actual writing. I’m all for making it easier for yourself—fanfic writing is a hobby, not a job, and I’m here for my own enjoyment more than anything else. I want to lean into it most when I’m happiest, yknow? :)

Bonus question for fun: 11. Do you believe in the old advice to “kill your darlings?” Are you a ruthless darling assassin? What happens to the darlings you murder? Do you have a darling graveyard? Do you grieve?

Yes absolutely!!! This isn’t to say that you should ruthlessly get rid of what you love most in your writing, but definitely don’t be too attached to every single word you write. The writing advice that I’ve found most helpful so far in my writing journey is: if you’re stuck in your writing, the problem isn’t with the current scene or paragraph, it’s what happened before. I’ve also had an English teacher suggest to us once that we should try rewriting something from memory to pare down to what’s most important (bc anything you don’t remember isn’t essential). I start over all the time if smth’s not working for me and I delete and go back if I get stuck. If I’m getting rid of smth that’s longer, I do try to keep it around or move it to a separate doc in case I need to use it later, or to try and incorporate into a different scene so that I’m not dropping it entirely, but I’ve found myself doing that less and less as I go. It’s annoying, maybe, but I don’t grieve haha

(ALSO the best part abt fanfiction is that even if a scene that you really love doesn’t work in the main sequence, you’re allowed to write spin offs and side stories and extra scenes as much as you want to lol. Like killing your darlings doesn’t have to mean you resign it to never seeing the light of day, maybe you just fake their death and move them to a different neighborhood skdnejcbjdd)

i also like spiderman (probably not to the extent that you do) and i saw that there were spiderman stickers at five below when i went last time idk if you live where a five below is but if you do then yeah!!! i when it comes to my special interests i throw them on EVERYTHING (my shark stuff for example) but its like my room has so many posters and even i make stuff myself sometimes for my decor and like i really enjoy surrounding myself with my special interests its like ‘hey everyone!! i love this thing and it makes me so happy!!!’ and i think its great

yeah i am so very happy to meet people who are like me because i have struggled with making friends for so long /nav and to finally belong feels so awesome and amazing!!!

I'm only putting my major fandoms, otherwise this would probably never end.

The owl house: Luz Noceda. My highest ever kin. I have so much in common with this girl, the love of fantasy, the feeling of not fitting in, leaving behind a toxic environment and flourishing... if I were to list it all, I'd be writing all night.

Kingdom hearts: Aqua. Aqua is a character that from the start of the game gets a lot of responsibilities thurst upon her, and she handles them... not too well for the most part. I can relate so hard to this, the feeling of having so much to do and so many expectations while trying to manage your relationships with your friends and yet remaining strong and hopeful...

Arcane: Caitlyn. I relate to Caitlyn's perseverance and tenacity and how openly kind she is to those around her.

Pokemon: Probably Hau (from Sun and Moon). This boy is so enthusiastic and goofy! I have put the probably because I am not even half as extroverted as he is, but our levels of silliness match.

12. dog person or cat person?

Cat person. I love them both almost equally but I can't imagine myself having a dog. Their care is a bit more demanding for me and I think I can understand cats a little better/easier.

I guess so. My account contains things I have never told anyone irl (most notably my asexuality) and I am more free to geek out and scream about my interests there. Tho, some stuff a bit more personal are kept for me.

Since the question says "love" and not "fall in love" I'm gonna assume it's about any kind of love, not just romantic.

I suppose I do but for the most part it depends on the person. Like there are people I know for a couple months and are some of my favorite people in the world and others I have known all my life that I feel little to no connection at all.
