I do a LOT of pondering on DK's paternal ancestry and I think the funniest thing I did other than giving him exactly one (1) other ancestor aside from Cranky with the name Donkey is giving him a few ancestors who look or give off the same vibe as one of his more immediate male family members.

Fandom spaces have GOT to stop finding out about concept art & saying they were supposed to have x or y. That’s not how concept art works, there isn’t a secret better show they decided to hide from you for no reason
#i like to think of it as headcanon fodder#it may have come from concepts of what could have been but that's just it: it wasn't#you can keep it as your own headcanon but that doesn't make it ACTUALLY canon#and you need to stop forcing the idea that it is on others
