Oh no you're absolutely right, it is weird, Lizzy even comments on it to Grell in the corner like "Hey, call me crazy but doesn't he look awfully familiar" which Grell does agree on

Unfortunately they couldn't invite O!Ciel to when the party was being hosted because he was awfully sick (and couldn't compare the two side by side to prove they weren't just insane)

I do plan on changing r!Ciels design a bit when I get to it so he doesn't look TOO similar, but for now the lore is that Lizzy and Grell DO find it weird when they realise r!Ciel looks familiar to o!Ciel. No reason for it just besides "funny"
