AG’s First Studio Album "Time Of Day" Overview

Album Details

NCT AG’s first studio album, Time Of Day, was released on Friday, October 14, 2022.

The album has thirteen tracks.

The title track is called B.O.Y (Basically Over You)

The tracklist includes four solo songs, two duo songs, and AG's queendom finale song.

This album brings an end of the Time Of Day series of mini albums.

The album comes in two versions: AM and PM

Teasers

In the teasers for the comeback, all the girls were hanging out with their members in dreams

A voice calls out to each of the girls pulling them away for their members dreams and back into the flat

In each individual teaser the girls walk past mementos they’ve taken for previous NCT music video before approaching Naevis at a computer.

In the last teaser, The girls stand before Naevis. Hannah and Aurora in white. Juno and Moxy in black. Naevis turns around and tells the girls they have another mission and gives them the coordinates. The girls bow to Naevis then leave the flat threw a grey portal.

When the portal closes around the girls; the comeback date, the title of the album and the fact that this comeback is for the groups first full length album is revealed

The teaser for Heart 2 Break saw the girls posing with the pieces of a broken heart. The colors of video were white, red and various shades of pink. The video ends with Juno singing the titles name.

Headphones Teaser: Moxy was posed with her dancers. The light turned off and on as the group did the opening choreography. The video ended with Moxy rapping the first line "Keep some headphones in my pocket for when life gets too chaotic."

Let Me Get Me Teaser: the teaser shows Hannah walking through a club with a gaggle of girls behind her. The groups makes their way to floor and make space for them in the middle. The teaser ends with Hannah smirks and flipping her hair as Hannah voice cuts in singing “I won’t let me get me.”

History Teaser: Juno walked in with cute pajamas on. A group of girls, including the other three members, were scattered around a bed of cushions and pillows doing their own thing. Suddenly, Hannah called all the girls over to crowd around her phone. Juno joins them only to see a picture of herself with a guy and it looks like their about to kiss. The girls all turn to her. Juno looks around sheepish. The beginning notes of History play as the camera pans over to bed where a notebook lays, showing a graffiti picture of the title, History.

On + Off Teaser: Aurora is sitting in a shallow pool of water as rain falls on her head. Her body is hunched over itself. Knees pulled to her chest. Aurora face is hidden by her arms. Before the camera cuts, we get a glimpse of Auroras right eyes as Aurora sings “take me to that place”

B.O.Y Teaser: The instrumental of the song played as the girls run around their apartment getting ready for a night out. Juno's phones buzzes with a incoming text message. The girls gather around to see a text from someone with a green heart as their name. The message says Miss U. The girls groan at the message. Moxy grabs the phone and throws it. the camera focuses on the phone. Another message pops up with a video. The video opens and show clips of the video. The whole teaser ends with fans hearing how the girls sound singing, "I'm basically over you!"

Outfits

Club

The sparkly and shiny pieces were in a abundance this comeback.

The club outfits were the same from the video

The older girls all wore more revealing clothing. Fans loved Juno’s look with a butterfly on the front.

Aurora was the most covered. She wore shorts but had on a cropped tank top with an oversized bedazzled crop top

Sparkly

All four members are wearing sequin jumpsuits. Aurora and Juno wear one piece jumpsuits. Hannah and Moxy wear two piece jumpsuits.

There is two versions of these outfits. The first is silver and gold. The other is in the individual member colors

Uniform

The plaid in these outfits was lime green.

Moxy wore plaid pants and a plaid loose bow tie

Both Hannah and Juno wore pleated skirts. Juno wore a vest with a green bow and Hannah wore a blazer and a plaid tie

Aurora had on a colorblock plaid skirt that has a buckle strap across the leg with a skinny plaid tie.

Colorblock

The colorblock outfits links the girls together thru their signature colors. The track pants and track jackets had the colorblock pattern.

Moxy = green and blue

Hannah = blue and pink

Juno = pink and purple

Aurora = purple and green

These outfits had a black version and a white version

Music Video(s)

B.O.Y

The video starts at an upscale apartment where the girls are getting ready for a night out.

Thought the first verse, the members enter and exit through different door and opening in the apartment. Apearing and reappering with new parts of the outfits on. At one point, we see Juno running a flat iron through her hair. Hannah applying makeup. Moxy picking between shirts. Aurora booking the car.

Hannah gets a message on her phone and all the girls crowd around to see the message which read, ‘I’ll be at club tonight. We should hang out, I miss you 😘’

They all cring, lookin go away disgusted. Aurora gets a notification. The girl go downstairs, get in their car and make their way to the club sing the chorus on the way. (Special cameo by their manager as their Uber driver)

The song continues as the girls arrive at the club. They don’t even have to show Id to get in. In the line, a guy is waving trying to get their attention but is ignored

In the club, the girls make their way around saying hello and taking pictures with the crowd. Further in the club, the boy from earlier pulls Hannah aside trying to convince her to get back together but Hannah rejects him by singing the pre hook. Before joining the girls to sing the chorus again

After getting rejected, the boy storms off with his friends. The members make their way to the middle of the floor, singing the bridge. Once in the middle of a circle of bodies, the girls finished the video dancing to the last chorus of the song.

At the end, over the credit roll, is clips of the girls eating pizza and wiping makeup off after arriving home

Cannonball

In Cannonball, the girls are in a black and white world. They walking to a school where the students turn and gawk at them. When they slam into a classroom, their colorful outfits are revealed. The teachers tries to scream at them but Aurora touches two points on her arm and makes the teacher pass out (A la Quinn Pensky)

Moxy sings the opening line and the room explodes into colors instantly lifting the student spirits. AG and the students of the school spend the rest of the video brings arts back to the school. Kids are singing, playing sports, painting, playing instruments, and dancing.

In the middle of the video, Aurora takes a math book, grimaces at it then tosses it into a portal.

The video ends with the girls dancing to the end of the song together. Ending the video all the students cheer and thank the girls for freeing them and bringing color back to their school

Track Videos

Heart 2 Break

This is more of a performance video. The girls are dressing in white, pink and red. They dance on a set with different sizes and styles of hearts. Towards the end, confetti cannons launch heart shaped confetti into the sky as the members sing the last chorus

Shots are edited in of the girls playing around with the hearts on set. One member walks behind a heart then another member walks out. The members appearing in the middle of one of the hearts doing assorted cute poses etc.

Headphones

Moxy walks onto the set. as she walks, voices recites insults about her that have been posted online. The voices get louder as Moxy takes her place among the dancers. One of the them, holds out headphones for her. Moxy takes them. When she puts them on, the voice cut out.

Moxy smirks to the camera as the song begins. The rest of the video is Moxy dancing with her dancers. In some shots, Moxy sits up high on a throne while haters try to scratch and claw to reach her. During the second pre-chorus, one hater actually makes it to the top but Moxy pushes them off before they can touch her.

When the video end, Moxy takes off the headphones and the voices from the beginning are still quiet. Moxy laughs as she walks off set

Let Me Get Me

Hannah is sitting on a bed in tattered clothes, her hair a mess. She's flipping through channels in the dark when her phone rings. It's massages from her members

Moxy - It's time to stop moping, girl!

Juno - Well be at this club tonight [Club location]

Aurora - Be there in an hour or were coming over a dragging you here

Hannah rolls her eyes but gets out of bed anyway.

Hannah makes it to the club right as the girls are about to walk in. the girls make their way to the dance floor. The crowd is backing up making a circle in the middle. The girls make there way to the front. Nobody makes a move to jump in to the middle. Moxy and Juno share a look then push Hannah out onto the floor as the song begins

Throughout the song, Hannah loosens up more and more until more dancers join her in the choreography of the song. Hannah's ex arrives and their eyes meet. As Hannah sings the last chorus, Hannah freestyles just to show off that her ex won't and can't bring her down.

When the song ends, Juno, Moxy and Aurora rush to hugs Hannah, freaking out over how she just murdered the dancefloor. Hannah meets her ex's eyes again. This time she smirks and waves goodbye.

History

The members of AG are at a sleepover with a bunch of friends. Everyone is talking, eating and cracking jokes before someone in the room asks Juno "What going with you two?" All the conversation stops. Everyone turns to Juno who blushes at the attention.

Her phone rings and its someone with a broken heart as the name. Juno picks up the call and starts the song breaking up with this mysterious person.

During the video Juno shows the group pictures of herself and different guy hanging out. Those pictures transition to Juno and the guys actually at these places. The two dance together during the chorus.

During the dance break, Juno dances with the guests at the sleepover before her phone rings again. This time it's someone with a heart emoji as their name. Juno sings the last pre-chorus before she runs downstairs to the front door. The guests all follow her.

Juno dances to the last chorus with her new love interest as everyone looks on. The video ends with Juno kissing her guy dancer's cheek

On + Off

The song had contrasting moments in the music and the video follow this. During the mv the skies behind Aurora and her dancers flip between overcast and a stormy sky. all the dancers are performing in a shallow pool of water.

When the dance break comes, lightning strikes the sky and it beings to rain drenching Aurora and the dancers until the end of the song.

The video ends with Aurora reaching out to the camera, sorrow on her face. Her eyes roll back as her body falls into the water

BTS

The members took a stab at writing a song for this album. The end result is Heart 2 Break. Taeyong and Mark helped all the girls with the process of songwriting. From Taeyong's bubble, he said Juno picked up songwriting the quickest out of all the girls

The girls filmed a lot of behind the scene content for this comeback. The favorite had to be the recording of the girls solo songs. Moxy was there for each of the girls sessions and she helped coach for every single one. At one point, the producer jokingly offer her to sit down and take over.

Even thought the girls all have solo and duo song, the girls vocals are everywhere on the album. Moxy and Juno sang background vocals on On + Off and Let Me Get Me. Hannah sang background vocals for Let Me Move You as well.

Aurora explained that she originally wanted Juno's song but after seeing the lyrics she was glad her song was On + Off

Moxy joked about the original title of Headphones referred to an illegal substance that she has never seen in her life

The producer of Headphones dared Moxy to rap the chorus in a single breath. She rapped flawlessly but after she finished, Moxy collapsed against the wall of the studio to catch her breath.

In very Hannah fashion, she was the most excited for the choreography to Let Me Get Me rather than actually having a solo. Kun produced the beat and Hannah loved it. She brought it to one of writes on a previous WayV song. Hannah sat down with them for hours nailing down the inspiration of the lyrics.

The choreography for B.O.Y is classic AG hip hop mixed with voguing. Fans praised the simple yet fun point dance that anyone could follow

The girls promoted for two weeks. During the first week, each member got to perform their solo song. For the rest of their promo time, the lead b-side chosen was Heart 2 Break.

AG got four wins during this era. The first one legit shocked them cause they were against Stray Kids. The boys stayed back on stage to congratulate the girls on their win(kings and queens collide)

The group filmed a performance video with all the members of NCT. In the background you can see Taeyong, Doyoung and Kun filming them like a proud mom(s)

Mnet filmed a variety show with the girls. Four episodes aired during the week before their comeback show. The show centered on the girls forming two teams of two. The played games and completed challenges in order to build the "club" of their dreams.

Mnet would decorate the club according to what they won during the entire show. Then fans, staff, fellow company idols and their members would visit both clubs and vote for the best one. The members would the performance video in the winning club (mentioned above)

SM built a popup store that looked like a club. The store had albums available for purchase, a photo booth, a selfie wall, a bar with non alcoholic drinks for all fans to enjoy. Everyday, whoever was best dressed won signed album

At the countdown live, it was chaotic. the boys constantly calling in, causing disruptions. The girls spoiling until the last second, like literally singing whole parts of song. Someone pushed at the girls giggle button cause they couldn't stop laughing. Taking five minutes to sing the entirety of Circle of Life.

SM pulled idols from every group to react to the girls music video. Yeri, Eunhyuk and Leetuck, Aespa, Minho and Key, Boa, Taeyeon and Hyoyeon, Suho and Xiumin. Every single idol could agree that BOY is AG's best song so far.

Everywhere they went, idols were pulled to do the B.O.Y challenge with the girls. the best one was with Moxy and Sunmi. They filmed it when the girls were on Showterview.

The girls got really close to their dancers. One of the dancers posted about their experience, calling the girls the nicest idols they've worked with. AG always treated to snacks and drinks after long days of dance practice

During the shooting of the club shots, SM invited AGzens to fill the background of shots. The girl kept checking on the fans making sure everything wasn't too hot or they weren't tired.

To prevent spoilers, SM banned dslr's and took fans phones at the door. After the recording fans posted threads of their experience. A fan revealed that the girls preformed Heart 2 Break for them once the video shooting was over as a surprise

At the two of the music shows, AG prepared gifts and snacks for fans in attendance. Each fan received a box of food and a exclusive photocard set they could get anywhere else

The girls participated on K-909 where they performed B.O.Y, Congratulations, Heart 2 Break and Rainbow by F(x). In their interview with Boa, the girls performed a acoustic version of I'll Be There. Hannah explained that she fought for this song to be included in the album. Eventually, the song grew on all the girls. They said the song is a promise to czennies.

On every variety show they participated in the hosts introduced them as queens much to the girls joy. On weekly idol, Eunhyuk actually bowed to them. Kwanghee was quick to follow suit.

The girls loved the combo of Technically Single and Down In Flames because both song visit a relationships in the middle of two extremes. One song wants commitment while the other just wants out. Hannah said it was fun to immerse themselves in both emotions to give each song the right emotional weight.

The girls actually wanted to film videos for both of the duo songs but due to a busy schedule they couldn't

At the end of promotions, their YouTube channel released a video of the girls singing Coloring Between The Line as the girls decorated a selfie wall that was at their popup for fans to take pictures in front of. At the end of the video, it revealed that a repackage is coming but the date is pending

1. Song of the Wind by KINGDOM - the Ghibli vibes are SO STRONG in this song, I don't think I've heard a kingdom song I don't like so far so this being my absolute no contest top song from them kinda says something. It's such a beautiful song and I'm so excited for you to listen to it

2. Reborn by GHOST9 - this wasn't a recent thing I was actually obsessed with this song last year when she had it on her Halloween playlist but I only rediscovered it recently when we she was watching the performance video on the TV heh

3. BlockBuster by DKZ - I think this is gonna be really entertaining for you so I'm not gonna spoil anything I'll just say that their nickname of "guys who know how to have fun" (or something like that) really makes sense lol

Every day it’s the same old thing. I pass the same old doors as I make my way towards my own at the end of the corridor. Counting the room numbers as I pass.

“508, 509, 510,-“ I count and but as soon as I reach room 511 the door suddenly swings forward and I’m greeted by both a whistle and Chad, my neighbor.

“Y/n baby I keep on waiting for you to go on a date with me like you promised,” Chad said as he stood in front of his door frame, right arm resting on the door. “I need to show you around town,” he said with a smirk as he rested his face on his fist.

I scoffed as I moved away from him, “The only thing you need right now is an urgent shower. You stink like a pig and it’s absolutely disgusting. Besides, I never promised you anything” I said, trying to continue on my way, but Chad just kept getting more and more persistent with every rejection. His nagging was getting annoying.

“Come Y/n I’ll take you to this bar across town, I’ll even pay for your drinks” he kept persisting.

You would think that any decent guy that’s asking you out on a date would obviously pay for them himself. It’s a given but this is Chad we’re talking about. I was sick of his terrible date ideas and I had to face him once again.

“Listen, I don’t know how many times I’ve told you this and how many times I’ll have to repeat it but, I don’t want to go on these stupids dates with you,” I told him as I rejected for what seemed to be the millionth time. And as soon as I said that the door beside us swung open.

Out came a young man wearing a navy blue cap that was covering almost the entirety of his hair but still managed to expose small tufts of dark brown hair from the sides. He looked up at the predicament Chad and I were both in and I was able to get a good look at him.

He had almond-shaped eyes that were a dark brown color and had various beauty marks scattered around his face. He was attractive. Very VERY attractive. Oh no I’m in deep shit, I thought to myself as I quickly turned away when I felt that I was staring at him for too long. He turns away from us and heads towards the elevator doors.

I stayed stunned for a few moments then turned to face Chad again, completely red in the face, dumbfounded, and at a complete loss for words. But before Chad could get another word out I quickly rushed to my apartment and leaned my back against the door once I got inside. My heart is beating fast and my chest feels tight and constricted. I quickly got myself a glass of water from my faucet and though it helped with my fast heart rate, it didn’t help the butterflies swarming around in my stomach. It might sound crazy but I think I’ve just met the man of my dreams.

Ever since then, I’ve made sure to take my sweet time walking down the corridor in hopes to see the cute boy from apartment 512 again. I’ve gone as far as to purposely make small talk and fake my interest in Chad in hopes to see him once more.

Loud footsteps came barreling towards the elevator. The yell of itself was enough to get my blood pumping but, to make matters much worse it was the cute boy from apartment 512 who was coming towards me.

“Thank you so much,” he said out of breath once he got inside. He offered me a smile of gratitude as the elevator doors closed. I noticed that he wasn’t wearing a cap this time but, instead he was sporting a grey beanie with red and blue stripes.

‘He’s the most beautiful man I have ever seen in my entire life’ I internally screamed to myself.

“Yeah, no problem” I responded quietly in hopes I wouldn’t make a fool of myself.

Even if there weren't more than two pieces of dialogue uttered between us, it was enough for my heart to beat faster than the speed of light.

The boy from apartment 512 who causes me to stutter like I've never done before.

I was manning the cashier station at the cafe I worked at. It was filled to the brim with people who were either typing away on their laptops or having a conversation with their friends.

But on this day, I had finally learned his name.

The busy atmosphere had me tackling customers' orders from left to right, “Hello, may I take your order?” I said as the next customer approached me.

But surprisingly enough, I was greeted by a familiar face.

The cute boy from apartment 512.

“Yes, hello I would like a caramel macchiato please,” he said and I felt my face go red instantly.

Oh my god, it’s him again, I thought as I knew that my brain would start to scramble once more. “O-of course. Coming right up, n-name?” I asked him as I completely stumbled on my words.

“Alex,” he said, “Okay A-Alex your name will be called out when your order is ready,” I tell him as I continue on with my work.

My coworkers had never seen me lose composure like that. It was clear that they would never let me live this down but even if I made a complete fool of myself in front of him, a huge part of me also just wants to keep talking to him both night and day.

But today I have finally truly decided to confess my love to him

I mentally prepared myself for the next time I interacted with Alex. I’ve finally decided that the next time I would run into him, I would finally ask to get to know him better in hopes that one day friendship will blossom into a wonderful relationship. A giddy laugh escaped me as I thought of the idea.

The cafe was busy as usual, with the same groups of people coming in. As it hit peak rush hour the line of customers just kept getting longer and longer and I was attempting to quickly attend to them to the best of my ability. Somehow, this was not enough to deter the feelings of butterflies in my stomach.

I knock on his door and I get goosebumps,

a blonde answers the door and my heart breaks

As I heard the bell above our door ring once more I raised my head and saw him, Alex. He was holding the door open for a woman as she walked in. They stood close together as they waited in line. This might seem like a bit of an exaggeration but when I saw them conversing together waiting in line the butterflies that were once fluttering disappeared and were replaced with dread. As my heart dropped, I realized that one thing was wanting to be friends with him but, that doesn’t change the fact that I had grown feelings for him. If he’s in a relationship then, what now? I felt lost as to how to handle this.

As the line in front of me kept getting shorter and shorter, I was becoming anxious as his turn was approaching. Though as it was almost the pair’s turn to order, Alex suddenly turns around and leaves the line and when his turn arrives he still wasn’t there. Despite this, I still went ahead and tended his apparent girlfriend.

I truly felt my heart breaking into pieces when suddenly she asked:

"Were you looking for my brother?"

“Hello, may I take your order?” I asked her, “Yes, can I have a vanilla latte please? But um, can we wait a couple of minutes for my brother? He went to the restroom and didn’t tell me his order,” she asked. Then the realization hit me like a ton of bricks, this was his sister. I’m so dumb, how could I’ve not realized the resemblance between them?? “Yeah that’s no problem” I finally responded.

Soon enough Alex came rushing towards his sister, “I’m so sorry for the wait” he said once he reached the both of us. “Just hurry it up. I’ll be waiting for you at the table” His sister said as she turned her back to the both of us.

Turning my attention to him as I rang up his order he then speaks up “You’re one of my neighbors aren’t you?” He asks me with a grin. I stop in my tracks as if I’m a deer in headlights.

“Yeah I am actually” I smile at him trying to muster enough courage to continue our conversation.

“I thought so, you were the one who held the elevator door for me the other day right? Also, the one who was yelling at my neighbor.”

My face instantly goes red as I thought back to the first time I met Alex. “In my defense he deserved it. He’s been harassing me ever since I’ve moved in” I shudder at the thought of Chad.

“Yeah I’ve realized that he really is a douche, he enjoys banging on the damn walls at three in the morning” he said as we laugh together at the stupid things Chad has done.

“Okay, okay you’re order will be out shortly,” I tell him with a smile, feeling my heart skip a beat. But Alex doesn’t move from the line.

“To be honest the whole reason I even came here wasn’t really for a drink or anything.” He said gazing towards the floor and rubbed the back of his neck.

“This might be a bit sudden because we’ve barely met but I wanted to actually ask you for your number since you seem really nice and you’re very pretty. If you’re not interested then that’s fine, I’ll just take my drink and go” Alex said sheepishly.

After I heard these words I found myself dumbfounded. At a complete loss for words. ‘DID HE JUST SAY THAT??? HOW DO I RESPOND???’ and from there my mind was absolutely speeding to the point where I just stood there. ‘HURRY UP AND DO SOMETHING!!!’ I yelled at myself, but yet still nothing managed to escape. Alex began to fidget more and more playing with his hands as I just stood there without a response.

“It’s okay, I’ll just go now.” Alex quickly said leaving.

Alex’s POV

‘SHIT. FUCK. MOTHERFUCKER. STUPID IDIOT.’

I cursed at myself while I walked towards my sister. Laying my head on the table, covering it in utter embarrassment.

“That didn’t go well, did it?” My sister said while casually scrolling through her phone. “And here you were boasting about how much of a smooth talker you were. You sir, just got rejected.”

“Will you shut up?” I groaned at her not raising my head. I’m already embarrassed out of my mind and she is not making it any better.

“Fine fine, you big baby I’ll go get our drinks and then you can go home and cry.” She said standing up as our orders were called.

‘God, why did I think it was a good idea to bring my sister along? How had it not crossed my mind? I hadn’t even given it a second thought as to what I was gonna do if I did get rejected. And to make matters much worse I just got rejected in front of my sister. I will never hear the end of it at family reunions. I’m already mentally digging my grave when I heard my sister come back.

“I think this one is yours” She said as she placed my drink in front of me. I raise my head slightly so I would be able to see what was in front of me. I looked at my cup as it said:

“No, baby, fuck. I didn’t mean-“ Mark stepped forward and you stepped backwards. It broke his heart. “What? You didn’t mean it? It’s not your first time saying that Mark. I’ve had enough. We’re going in circles, it needs to stop!”

It wasn’t the first time that Mark told you that he’s sick of you and that he wished that he never dated you in the first place.

“I love you, baby. Believe me, I was just angry and-“

“frustrated- I know, it’s always the same excuse Mark. I know that you don’t love me, so please, just leave. Find someone you love and who treats you better, apparently I’m not enough.”

“I do! I do love you! Just hear me out, please!” Mark was crying, you weren’t even crying.

“Why are you crying? I’m letting you go Mark, you don’t have to force yourself to stay with me anymore.” Your heart clenched, your hands formed to fists, nails dug into your soft skin.

“I love you…” he whispered, “I love you so much, please give me one last chance.” He begged. “Did you love me when you told Johnny that I was so annoying? Did you love me when you told Jaehyun that you’re sick of having sex with me, sick of me calling you and texting you? Sick of me asking you about your day and worrying about you? Did you love me when you told Mina, that we aren’t serious? How can you love me when we aren’t even serious?”

Mark looked defeated, “H-how did you-“

“Is that important? You talked to them every time I was with you, you wanted me to hear that. You want me to break up with you because you are a fucking coward.”

“I-I never wanted you to hear that- I just, I don’t know what to say, I’m so sorry, please. I’m begging you, give me one last chance. I love you. I really love you so much, I can’t do it without you. I need you in my life.” Mark wiped away his tears with his hands, but the tears were still rolling down his cheeks.

“I’ll never forget how you treated me, how much you hate me. You made me think it was my fault- that I was the one who destroyed this relationship, but it wasn’t me. It was you, and now, take your things and go. We’re done.” You didn’t allow the tears to fall until you entered the bathroom, closed the door, and locked it.

You fell on your knees, your hand was on your mouth, covering your whimpers and sobs. It hurt, you loved him so much it broke you apart. You felt your chest tighten, the pain filled your body and there was nothing you could do to stop the pain.

“I-I love you. So much.” Mark was on the other side of the door, his hand was on the doorknob, he couldn’t hold you anymore, it was over now. Mark was still crying as he held his bag tightly and hoped that you’d open the door and jump in his arms, for one last time.

He could hear you, your sobs were loud, you were never good in hiding your emotions. Your eyes filled with tears and pain. “I’m sorry.” And with that, he walked out of your apartment and left.

You couldn’t breathe, the hand that covered your mouth before, was now holding your chest tightly. Your eyes were wide, were you having a panic attack? The bathroom suffocated you, the walls came closer and closer and you were having a hard time controlling your breathing.

Your curled up and closed your eyes, you tried to think of happy memories. Yeah, you had happy memories with Mark, not just bad memories. The first time you had met him was your favorite memory of him.

You’ve met Mark on a blind date your friend had arranged for you almost two and a half years ago. She told you that you were a perfect match and after two weeks of begging you to meet him, you said yes. It wouldn’t hurt right?

“He’s a little bit shy, okay maybe not a little bit, but like, you know, he’s cute you’ll love him.” Your friend said as she helped you with your make up. “I’m shy too! What If we just sit there and don’t talk?” you said worriedly.

“No, he will talk. Maybe even a little too much.”

You looked through the restaurant and looked for the man in blue. The two of you decided to wear a matching color since you still didn’t know what he looked like, and he told you to wear blue because it was his favorite color.

Your gaze met his, and your brain stopped working because he looked so handsome and cute at the same time. Mark’s smile widened as he watched you walk over to him. His palms were sweaty, and he was absolutely nervous.

“Hey, Mark?” you said nervously.

“Yeah, hi. I’m Mark. Wow you’re way prettier than I imagined.” He rambled and you smiled at him shyly. “Oh yeah right.” He got up and helped you with your chair like a gentleman. “Thank you.”

“Uhm, I ordered red wine, but like, if you want to drink something else, like, champagne or something tell me.” He was talking so fast and you could see how nervous he was, just like you.

“No, no. Red wine is totally fine.”

“Yeah, uhm, Minsoo told me that you like red wine, but I thought maybe you’d like to drink something else.” He rambled again. “Am I talking too much? I feel like I’m talking too much.”

“No,” you giggled, “You’re not talking too much don’t worry.”

“That’s good, my friends told me to shut up, but I feel like I can’t stop talking. Did I tell you that you’re really pretty?” Mark didn’t even notice the waiter looking at him with his mouth wide open, “Thank you, Mark. You are very handsome.”

The waiter looked to you and then back to Mark as you and Mark just looked at each other without saying anything. The waiter cleared his throat, “Sir, would you like to order now?”

And after ordering, your night was filled with smiles, giggles, and loud laughs. Mark was so funny and cute the whole time, and when you held his hand, which was resting on top of the table, his cheeks started burning and you just wanted to squish his cheeks.

“You’re so adorable.” You smiled at him shyly. “And you’re so gorgeous.”

You were in front of your apartment, even though you didn’t want the night to end, but it was almost 1 am and you had classes the next day. “I had so much fun tonight, Mark. Thank you so much.”

“Me too. And uhm, I really would love to do it again.” He blushed a little. “Me too. You have my number?”

He nodded and you couldn’t resist, so you tiptoed and kissed his cheek before you entered your apartment, “Good night, Mark.”

You woke up on the bathroom floor. After crying for hours and trying to calm yourself down, you fell asleep. You fell asleep with a smile on your face, the memories you shared with Mark were beautiful, almost too good to be true. But after everything you’ve been through, you didn’t want to wallow in memories. Even it’s just for one night, you wanted to stop feeling sad and down, you just wanted to be happy and think about yourself first. No more thoughts on Mark’s wellbeing, no more going through pictures of him on your phone and no more texting him that you missed him.

You were determined, your relationship with Mark was over, and he wouldn’t change your mind this time, like he always did. This time, you had enough.

“H-Hyung, I just- fuck.” Mark cried into his palms. Johnny knew that your relationship with Mark was about to end, after everything Mark had told him, he didn’t think he’d see his friend crying like this after you broke up with him. “I just can’t believe it, I-I thought that we’d be together forever, no matter w-what.”

“Mark, isn’t this what you wanted?” Johnny asked carefully.

Mark shook his head, “I-I don’t know what I wanted, I only know that I want her b-but she’ll never want me back.”

“You said it yourself though, that you were sick-“

“I know what I said!” he shouted at his friend, “I’m sorry- I didn’t mean to shout at you, but like, I know what I said and If I could take it back I would. I just feel so… so empty without her. I think… I think I was scared that she’d stop loving me first and that’s why I pushed her away.”

“That’s literally the dumbest thing you could’ve done.” Johnny sighed.

“She didn’t even cry. S-She looked so, so done. Done with me and done with everything, like she fell apart and it’s all because of me.”

Mark couldn’t breathe, his heart clenched, and he gripped his shirt, everything suffocated him. He remembered your emotionless face and the emptiness in your eyes, and this time it was Mark who was on his knees, having a panic attack.

A couple weeks after your fight with Mark, you found yourself alone at home, an empty bottle of wine next to your empty bed.

He didn’t try to contact you. The only information you had about him was that he stayed with Johnny. Johnny sent a simple text, telling you that he was sorry and that Mark was in safe hands, since he knew, that you after everything still cared for him.

You didn’t cry after the last time you cried. It’s going to be a long journey until you close the big chapter labeled ‘Mark’ and you hoped that it’s going to be a peaceful journey, but after tonight, you weren’t sure if there was a possible future without Mark in it.

Suddenly you heard sounds coming from your door. Didn’t you lock it? Who is trying to get into your apartment? It was past midnight and with a pan in your one hand, you slowly walked to the door.

Of course, it was him. Mark still had your spare key and he forgot to ask for your permission before he entered.

You let out the breath you were holding. “What are you doing here? Did you forget anything?”

Mark looked at you and then at he pan in your hand. “Are you going to hit me with it? I’ll let you do it If you listen to me for just a minute.”

“N-No I’m not going to hit you with. I thought you were a thief.”

You put the pan on top of the little shelf next to your door. “A-Are you scared alone?” he asked you.

The truth is, yes you were. You were scared of being alone, scared of darkness.

“N-No?”

“You don’t have to lie to me, I know that you’re scared. I’m sorry.”

“What are you doing here? I don’t think you came just to ask me If I’m scared.”

“I needed to talk to you, I know it’s late and stuff, but like, yeah I just- I couldn’t sleep nor eat and yeah, I, uhm-“

“Mark you’re rambling.” He reminded you of the time your first started dating, how nervous he was and how he couldn’t stop talking because he hated awkward silence.

“Yeah, I am. Sorry, I just want to talk.”

“I don’t think there is anything to talk about, Mark.” You sighed. “There is. I can’t survive another week without telling you how much you actually mean to me.” He whispered.

“Mark I really don’t want to do this-“

“Please, just one minute. Just one minute.” He held your hand, and you didn’t push away. You missed his touch. “Fine. Just one minute.”

“First of all, I love you. I really do. Since the second I saw you enter that restaurant, I knew that I loved you and I can remember how much of an idiot I was, like, the entire night, but you still kissed me goodbye on the cheek and my heart was about to explode. I thanked Minsoo so much and I still thank her for introducing you to me. I was like, a blind date? How’s that going to work? And it was the best thing that ever happened to me. I know I pushed you away, I was an asshole and I hurt you so much, but I’m an insecure, stupid pussy and I can’t believe I had you, but then I let you slip through my fingers. I didn’t know how to hold your hand and I didn’t know how to make clear, that I need you. The things I told the others, I don’t think that I was actually complaining because If I think about it now, my heart flutters and I can feel the butterflies in my belly jumping around. You cared about me like no one else did and I missed you so much, I just can’t lose you. Your my first and only love, I don’t want anyone but you.”

You were crying, he was crying, Johnny was probably at home crying too.

“M-Mark…” you whimpered, you didn’t know what to say.

“P-Please just give me a chance to gain your love and t-trust back.” He wiped your tears away with his soft hand.

“I’m… I’m so sick of being hurt, I’m so sick of it, Mark. I can’t take anymore pain, I’m so sick of suffering and not being loved, I-I just want to be loved. You h-hurt me so much the past months, I don’t think my body and soul can handle it I-If I go through that again…” you sobbed.

“You won’t need to- Baby, I promise you, I’ll never ever treat you like that again. I won’t let you suffer, not again. I love you I love you so much. I love you please believe me, I love you.”

Mark wrapped his arms around you as you cried into the crook of his neck. He repeated over and over again that he loved you as you both cried together, arms wrapped around each other and hearts connected again.

“One last chance, and if you fuck up again, you’ll never get to see my face again.” You whispered.

“I won’t fuck up, I promise you. The days without you were torture. Being without you is torture.”

“C-Can we take it slow, Mark? I feel like… I feel like if we rush things you’ll get sick of me again…” you were scared that giving him another chance was a mistake.

“No, no baby. Don’t ever think that again, okay? We can take it slow if you want that, but I don’t want you think that I’ll get sick of you, I could never. Being away from you was so hard, I don’t want that to happen ever again.” Mark pressed his lips on your temple.

“Okay…”

“Do you want to go on a date with me? Are you free on Friday?” he asked you and you chuckled.

“I’m not sure, I have to check my schedule.” You teased him.

“Babe…” Mark whined.

If you made a request but don’t see it below that might be for a few reasons. 1) I’ve written it already and it will be posted in June. 2) It’s one of the requests I posted on May 8th so I won’t talk about it here. 3) I considered it a demand not a request (for example, I received two that said “Anything with,” that wasn’t really a request just telling me to do it. Hi I just had an idea for a game you could do. It could be where someone has to say as a boy what they’re like physically in stages. So first stage is hair color for example, second stage could be height, third stage could be body type, etc. An example would be if I was a black hair, short height, thick body type, I would match up with someone like Nicki Minaj. Just an idea which you could extend on. Hopefully it makes sense. I appreciate you!

I actually have a game like this mapped out called “Build a Sissy” where you choose age, hair color, and bra size, but it would take a LOT of work to make so I haven’t written it yet. Maybe some day though. :)

So it is not an issue with CGI “enhanced” celebrities but for Cats it is because I do not have a Furry fetish and I get uncomfortable thinking about writing caps for it. But I write caps with “manips” all the time (photoshopped images of celebs) so I’m not ruling out CGI enhanced celebs all together.

You don’t have to be sorry! Like I said, in the future I’d ask that folks limit requests to no more than 3 celebs at a time but you didn’t know that. I’d never said that before. I typed up every celebrity and they’re going to be sprinkled in during June. Hope you like them! :)

I'm the one that asked for the Stephanie Beatriz caption from a whole back, and I absolutely loved how it turned out. Each time you roll out a new caption is like a small thrill to me and I read them right as they're released.

Now this wouldn't be an ask if I wasn't asking something, right? Well, next month sees the release of the "In the Heights" movie, and there's an opportunity there to do a series of captions using stephanie Beatriz from that same movie.

How about instead of removing the captions with Demi in them ,the images of Demi were just replaced with another celeb and if Demi is mentioned by name in the caption then that could be edited  to mention a different celeb. I respect Demi's decision I do but lets not lose some well made captions. Also if you could please make a caption where Amy Adams feminises a fan and raises them as her daughter and Kristen Stewart makes you her submissive wife that would be appreciated. I'm a fan of them.

So about the Demi Lovato captions: I understand your feelings but I’m still going to delete the original captions. Because of how my captions are made I can’t just go back in & swap out an image or edit the text, I have to remake it from the ground up. I am hoping to do that with some (maybe all) of the Demi Lovato captions & re-publish them, but I’m still going to delete the originals.

I can do the Kristen Stewart one for sure and I’ll TRY to do the Amy Adams one I just am not 100% sure I can find a pic for that but we’ll see. :)

About the hiatus: I don’t know when it’s going to be. I want to TRY to make it to at least July 18th because I have a specific game in mind I want to post for 5 years of Celebrity TG Captions games, but after that I have no idea. (A/N: So, here’s an imagine nobody asked for in honor of my blog hitting 500 followers! Basically this is set during the 2016 Rio Olympics, it’s loosely based on Megan Rapinoe’s story of how she met Sue during that time after losing to Sweden. Anyway, r is a member of the Team USA women’s basketball. Enjoy)

"Come on, Alex. It'll be fun. Besides, we need the drinks to forget about this hell of an Olympics" Pinoe insisted, tugging on the forward's sleeve in their shared room.

"You're just going to go and flirt and leave me alone in the club. I will not be a part of that" Alex said indignantly, pouting on her bed.

Megan had been pestering Alex to go to a party near the athletes village in Rio de Janiero because her crush from the Team USA women's basketball team had invited her over.

But considering they had just lost to Sweden in the quarterfinals the other day, Alex was definitely not in the mood to go around and celebrate.

"No, I won't leave you. Plus, Sue said she'll be bringing a friend along. Please, Al? For me? Be my wing woman" Megan said, pleading with her eyes.

Alex looked over at Pinoe and rolled her eyes.

"Fine. But if you leave me alone I'm going to kick your ass back into the United States" Alex said.

Pinoe cheered and jumped up from the bed. She hurriedly went to her suitcase to rummage for something to wear to impress Sue.

Alex sighed and reluctantly got up to get ready too. What was she letting herself into?

"I hate you" Alex said, picking out a simple black crop top and her favorite skinny jeans.

"No you don't. Besides, you might even meet someone there" Pinoe said, winking as she put on a vintage band tee.

"I doubt it" Alex said. Meeting a prospective girlfriend wasn't exactly what she had planned on getting from her trip to the Olympics.

They arrived at the simple pub half an hour later. It was a bit busy, with more than a number of Olympic athletes enjoying their free time.

Most of the sports didn't have events for the next two days, thus the packed house of sports men and women from across the globe.

Pinoe was scanning the pub before finally seeing Sue, who was already on her feet and waving the two of them over to a small booth in the corner of the pub.

"Hey! Nice to see you guys" Sue said, giving Pinoe and Alex a hug. Her companion, a teammate on the national team also stood up.

"Megan, Alex, this is (Y/N). She's my teammate" Sue said, motioning to the other woman.

(Y/N) was dressed in a black sleeveless Nike hoodie that showed off her toned arms and Alex couldn't help but stare at the tattoo sleeve that covered the woman's right forearm.

"Hey. Honored to meet USA's best female athletes" (Y/N) said with a charming smile, extending her hand.

Pinoe shook her hand in stride but Alex had to be brought out of her trance before finally stuttering a "nice to meet you" before they all took their seats.

"You know, I don't know about being USA's best female athletes... after what happened the other day" Pinoe said bitterly. Sue reached out and squeezed her hand.

"Hey don't be so hard on yourselves. You guys we're amazing. It's a game, you win some, you lose some. You're still pretty badass" (Y/N) said with a toothy grin at the both of them.

"Damn right we are" Pinoe said, sharing an easy laugh with (Y/N), Alex was still a bit mesmerized at the female basketball player.

"I'll get you guys some drinks. Just tell me what you want" (Y/N) said, standing up and smiling at the group.

"Rhum coke for me" Sue said, (Y/N) nodded and looked at Pinoe.

"I'll have a dry martini please" Pinoe said. (Y/N) then looked expectantly at Alex, who was still spacing out in (Y/N)'s direction.

(Y/N) flashed an amused smile and before Alex could reply, Pinoe grabbed her by the shoulders and spoke for her instead.

"She'll be having a whiskey neat" Pinoe said, winking at (Y/N). The latter nodded and smiled.

"Nice. My kind of gal" (Y/N) said and walked away.

Once (Y/N) was out of earshot, Pinoe shook Alex while Sue looked at the pair amusingly.

"What's with you, Al?" Pinoe said, wondering what has gotten her friend so loopy before her first drink.

"N-nothing... I didn't expect Sue's friend to be so..." Alex trailed off.

"Cute?" Sue quipped.

"Hot?" Pinoe offered.

"Both" Alex said, flushing a deep red.

"Don't worry about it. (Y/N)'s a sweetheart and coincidentally, a big Alex Morgan fan" Sue said with a smirk.

Alex flushed even more, why would such an attractive person be a fan of her?

"She goes to a lot of NWSL games during our offseason. I think her mom used to play soccer before, so she grew up around the sport" Sue explained. Pinoe and Alex nodded along.

The three soon fell into easy conversation before (Y/N) finally got back with four drinks perfectly balanced in her hands.

"Here you go beautiful ladies" (Y/N) said with a grin, handing each woman her ordered cocktail.

(Y/N) took her seat across Alex, who was finally able to calm down enough to try and make a conversation with the attractive basketball star.

"So, (Y/N), how's the Olympics been treating you?" Alex said, playing with the rim of her glass as she tried to keep herself calm under the other woman's gaze.

"It's been fun, international basketball play is really physical. But I enjoy the challenge" (Y/N) said, her eyes sparkling as she remembered being on the court.

"We're playing Spain in the final next week. So I'm pretty pumped about that... Sorry about what happened with Sweden" the woman continued cautiously.

Pinoe and Alex sighed but nevertheless gave Sue and (Y/N) a sad smile.

"Well, we just have to bounce back stronger" Pinoe said. Alex nodded fervently.

"I'm sure you guys will" Sue said, looking over at Pinoe and they share a moment. Alex and (Y/N) glanced at each other and smiled at the their friends' interaction.

"So, I heard you're a NWSL fan?" Alex said, taking a swig of her drink. She relished the heat of the drink making its way down her throat.

"Definitely. You're actually one of my favorite players" (Y/N) said, scratching the back of her neck. Alex appreciated the flex of her muscles at her action.

"That's sweet" Alex said, blushing and looking down at her lap before sharing a smile with (Y/N).

"Something about your fire just really inspires me" (Y/N) said, trying to play off her honesty with a shrug.

"You're one smooth talker, aren't you?" Alex said, some of the alcohol already kicking in for an added notch of confidence.

(Y/N) blushed at being caught flirting but winked at her nonetheless.

"Is it working?" (Y/N) said sheepishly. Alex threw her head back with a laugh and the former's breathe is taken away.

"Walk me back to our dorm later and I'll tell you then" Alex said, flirting back.

"I might just take you up on that offer" (Y/N) said, winking at the soccer star.

The night continued on with both pairs falling into endless conversations with each other.

(Y/N) let Alex rant on about Jill and their Sweden game, she looked like she needed to let it all out.

The basketball star listened intently to Alex's words, only getting a little bit lost in her blue eyes every once in a while.

"Sorry, I keep on talking about myself and the team" Alex said, finally, catching herself going on and on about what had happened.

"No biggie. I like listening to you talk" (Y/N) said, grinning at her. Alex blushed and pushed a loose strand of her hair behind her ear.

"What about you? Tell me about yourself" Alex said, motioning to the other woman.

"Well, what can I say? I'm Team USA's starting power forward, I play for the Connecticut Sun after three years of college in UConn. Oh and my mom used to play soccer for North Carolina" (Y/N) said, listing facts about her.

"Why'd you choose basketball instead of soccer then?" Alex said curiously. (Y/N) shrugged.

"Guess I'm just more comfortable on the hardcourt. Plus, my dad always dragged me to the basketball court to play with him and my brothers too" (Y/N) said. Alex nodded along to her story.

"But I do love soccer, still. As much as I love its players" (Y/N) said grinning at Alex once again. The latter blushed.

The pair are brought back into reality when Sue and Pinoe stood up, they both looked a bit tipsy already and had a knowing glint in their eyes.

"Guys... we're just going to go... somewhere" Pinoe said, slurring a bit already.

"Yeah. What she said" Sue quipped. The pair didn't even wait for (Y/N) and Alex to respond before they were scrambling off to god knows where.

"They're definitely hooking up" (Y/N) said, chuckling at the situation. Alex sighed and shook her head.

"I told Pinoe not to leave me alone" Alex said.

"Come on, is it that bad to be stuck with me?" (Y/N) said, grinning at Alex. The latter shot a playful look.

"A bit, yeah" Alex said. (Y/N) faked offense and scoffed.

"Rude. Come on, let's dance" (Y/N) said suddenly, taking Alex's hand before she could protest.

Alex planted her foot to the ground.

"Nope, nope. Not gonna happen" Alex said, feeling laughter bubbling up as (Y/N) tried to drag her to the dance floor of the pub.

"Come on, I bet you're really good" (Y/N) said, laughing as she tugged on the other woman.

"I'll step on you" Alex said, finally giving up and letting (Y/N) lead her into the crowded dance floor.

"I don't mind" (Y/N) said, grinning at her.

Alex rolled her eyes but started swaying to the beat of Major Lazer, Justin Bieber and Mo's Cold Water.

The two moved in sync to the beat, sharing smiles and laughter as they tried to weave through the crowd.

"You've got moves, Morgan" (Y/N) said, winking at Alex.

"I could say the same for you, (Y/N)" Alex replied. Seemingly like magnets, the two athletes continued on to close the distance between them until they were practically grinding on each other.

It took Selena Gomez's Hands to Myself to snap them back to reality and move back from each other a bit.

They were both flushed and had a sheen of sweat from dancing too close.

"Wanna get out of here?" (Y/N) offered breathlessly. Alex nodded and the basketball player took her hand and led her out of the club.

"I wonder where Sue and Pinoe are" Alex wondered out loud once they were out of the club. (Y/N) shrugged.

"They're big girls, they can handle it" (Y/N) said, grinning. Alex laughed.

They walked together in comfortable silence before sitting down in a patch of cool grass a few blocks away from the athletes' village.

"You know what I've really enjoyed about being in Rio?" (Y/N) said, looking up at the sky full of stars.

"Getting to meet me?" Alex said, laughing at her own reply.

"Well... other than that" (Y/N) said, smiling sweetly at the forward.

"What?" Alex said.

"The stars" (Y/N) replied, looking up at the sky again. Alex followed her lead and looked up too, indeed, the sky was full of stars.

"It doesn't look like this back in Connecticut and star gazing is definitely one of my top date ideas" (Y/N) said, subtly inching her hand closer to Alex's.

Alex blushed but kept her eyes up to the sky. For some reason, she could sense (Y/N)'s hand moving closer to hers and was anticipating the contact.

"So, is this a date?" Alex teased, but the blush on her cheeks betrayed the confident facade.

"If you want it to be" (Y/N) said, finally reaching Alex's hand. They intertwine their fingers and keep their eyes glued to the stars.

Alex only hummed in response and inched closer to the other woman, soon enough, she was already leaning her head on (Y/N)'s muscular arm.

They sat in comfortable silence for about 10 minutes before a yawn made its way to Alex's mouth before she could stop herself.

"Sorry. Must be a bit tired" Alex said, facing the other woman -- their hands still intertwined.

(Y/N) smiled and pulled Alex to her feet.

"Come on. Let's get back. We need our rest" (Y/N) said, glancing at the watch on her wrist.

It was getting pretty late and Alex nodded her head.

"I'm taking you up on that offer to walk you back to your dorm, by the way" (Y/N) said, grinning. She had let go of Alex's hand, the latter could only stop herself from frowning at the loss of contact.

"My knight in shining armor" Alex mused. (Y/N) guffawed and they started walking towards the USWNT's dorms.

Easy conversation fell between (Y/N) and Alex, sharing stories about their journeys to their careers.

They were both very passionate about inspiring younger generations to pursue their sports, despite being conceived as a male sport.

It didn't take long before they were in front of Alex's dorm and (Y/N) began shuffling in her place.

"So uhm, I wanted to ask you Alex if you wanted to go to the finals game next week. Us players have a few seats courtside reserved for us. My family couldn't make it because of schedule problems... but I'd really like you to be there" (Y/N) said hesitantly, she began to scratch the back of her neck again.

Alex smiled and pretended to think about it for a while.

"I mean-, only if you want to. I think Sue's inviting Pinoe to watch too. It's alright if you don't want to-" (Y/N)'s rambling is cut off by Alex's finger shushing her.

"I'd love to, (Y/N)" Alex said, smiling up at the taller woman.

"That's great. I'll see you then?" (Y/N) said, a faint blush on her cheek. Still having a bit of liquid courage left from earlier that night, Alex caught (Y/N) by surprise by pecking her on the cheek.

"See you then" Alex said. (Y/N) was slack jawed at the sudden display of affection and the forward couldn't help but find it cute.

"Good night, (Y/N)" Alex said, already making her way to the door. (Y/N) seemed to get snapped back into reality and grinned at the forward.

"Good night, Alex" She said, instinctively holding her hand up to touch her cheek.

Alex Morgan just kissed her freaking cheek.

Soon enough, Alex and Pinoe found themselves inside the arena and took their seats courtside while Team USA was warming up.

The latter had narrowed her eyes at Alex after she told her she wanted to go watch the Finals game with her.

"Did something happen between you and (Y/N) the other night?" Pinoe probed but Alex kept her mouth shut.

"Not exactly. But she invited me to come so..." Alex said, avoiding Pinoe's eyes.

Sue and (Y/N) spotted the pair in their seats and waved while doing warmups on the sideline.

Alex couldn't help but chuckle at the faint blush on (Y/N)'s cheek, one that probably painted her own cheeks as well.

Alex and Pinoe got comfortable while the official warmups rolled on.

It didn't take long before it was tip off time. The starting lineups were called and Pinoe nudged Alex when she cheered loudly as (Y/N) was introduced.

"What? Just supporting my friend" Alex said, shrugging.

"Yeah. A friend you called hot and cute just the other night" Pinoe said, laughing.

"Well, she is" Alex defended. Pinoe could only roll her eyes playfully.

Team USA was killing it against Spain, they were dominant and being a power forward, (Y/N) was always crashing the glass for rebounds and easy layups in the paint.

(Y/N) made a long bomb from beyond the arc to beat the buzzer in the second quarter and decided to give a little show to Alex.

Both she and Pinoe had a good front seat view to the shot and once it swished through the net, (Y/N) pointed at Alex and winked.

Alex blushed and hid her face behind her hands.

"Okay, what was that?" Pinoe said, guffawing at Alex's red face.

"Shut up" Alex said, but she couldn't stop the smile creeping up her face.

(Y/N) would once again interact with Alex when she swatted a shot away from a Spanish player -- she flexed her arms after the block, right in front of Alex and Pinoe's seats and the Orlando forward couldn't help the rush of blood to her face.

"Appreciating the gun show, Al?" Pinoe teased.

"I am actually, yeah" Alex said through gritted teeth. She wondered what else those hands can do other than do magic on the hardcourt.

The game ultimately ended with a lopsided 101-72 victory for the Americans.

Sue and (Y/N) came over to Pinoe and Alex to celebrate, already with their medals hanging around their necks.

Pinoe crushed Sue with a hug as Alex and (Y/N) were a little more hesitant.

"Sorry if those things I did during the game were a bit too much. I think I become a whole different person when I'm on the court" (Y/N) said chuckling, but Alex shook her head.

"It's fine. It's cute, really" Alex said, biting her lip. (Y/N) glanced down at her lips.

"T-thanks" (Y/N) said, wanting desperately to hug and kiss the other woman but didn't want to invade her personal space.

"Congrats on winning the gold" Alex said, wrapping her arms around the other woman's neck.

(Y/N) instinctively put her hands on her waist and blushed.

"Thanks... I'd say this is the highlight of my trip but I'd be lying" (Y/N) said, wriggling her eyebrows.

Alex laughed and kissed her cheek once again, but this time she leaned in to whisper something to the basketball star's ear.

"Take me out on a date back in the States and you'll have even more highlights to experience" Alex said in a sultry voice.

(Y/N) gulped and pulled away from the hug with a blush on her face.

"I-i'll definitely do that" (Y/N) said. Alex winked at her.

"Now go celebrate with your teammates, (Y/L/N)" Alex said.

(Y/N) grinned and ran back to her squad in the middle of the court, with Sue reluctantly in tow.

"Maybe this wasn't that bad of an Olympics" Pinoe said, staring lovingly at Sue.

"Mhm, not that bad at all" Alex replied, her eyes set on (Y/N).

No problem!! That's one of my favorite cgs of Alex and MC as well, it's just so visually powerful in a way. That and the heartbreaking scene from season two where MC leaves their apartment after Ares goes after her because she has begun to panic and worry about how all of what she sees as her problems alone are/will affect them and it's both so sweet and tragic. My first time through I was so happy I think I cried when Alex found MC and brought her home.

I loved Hades route, but not necessarily entirely for Hades...I REALLY like the story line of the Titans. Selena and Helios were so cute I wanted to adopted them so bad and resident cherry petal pretty was absolutely stunning and very quickly stole my heart even on Hades route lmao. I think part of why I did finish Hades route was because I was semi hoping he would show up in season 3. At the time I didn't know he his own route. Was so happy when I found out.

i liked hades' route, too, it's very interesting!!! i like hades a lot but he's also very frustrating sometimes lol. but agreed, the titans are wonderful!! i loved the titan storyline so much, i still wish they'd have touched on it a little more in season 3, even if i understand why they didn't have the room for it. im very glad astraeus has a route for us to enjoy (or, in my case, for me to sob over)

“What’s the drinking game rule with the bartender guy? Jack?”

“Okay so anytime Alex, remember that’s the guy in the purple shorts there, starts flirting with Jack, you have to take a sip. You take another any time Jack is ignoring another person trying to ask for a drink to flirt back,” Luke explains while pointing at the men he references before taking two sips from his wine glass.

“Jesus Christ,” Michael groans before lifting his can to take the sips as well. “These two alone are going to get me wasted and one of them isn’t even a contestant. Why did I let you talk me into this?”

Luke drops a piece of popcorn into his mouth and smiles at Michael’s entirely fake glare. “Because you love spending time with me and I love trash TV.”

“It’s definitely for the wine and snacks but just keep telling yourself that.”

Their attention drifts back to the screen then as the theme song for this week’s episode of Love in Paradise starts playing. It’s some corny intro sequence, this version of the reality show much more self aware than the other iterations that play throughout the year. Michael and Luke laugh at the silly poses and actions this season’s cast have picked to do and throw in random comments about different people as they pop up on the screen.

Luke loves Saturday reality TV night with Michael. Loves that he has a friend willing to watch week old episodes of Luke’s favorite show just to spend time with him. He had been worried when he took this night job that he started recently that he would lose contact with all of his friends that worked and went about their lives during normal times. Though he supposes that Michael doesn’t exactly go about his life during normal hours despite working during the day. Honestly he avoids ever thinking about it too hard because then he gets worried about whether or not Michael is sleeping at all, really. And Michael hid all of his hair-ties last time Luke called Michael’s mom worried about his health.

Luke’s pondering his best friend’s sleep schedule still when the theme song is wrapping up, the final person shown before the show’s title being their ridiculously good looking host. Luke really prides himself generally on not having too much of a crush on TV personality but ever since he got stuck on this show after watching the previous few seasons on Hulu with the girl who works the graveyard shift with him at the hospital, he’s been drooling over Ashton Irwin. Honestly, it’s a damn shame that Ashton is the host rather than the lead on the show. That would get Luke to sign up to be a contestant in a heartbeat and him and Michael both agree that Luke would make excellent TV on a program like this.

“You know,” Michael says while grabbing a handful of popcorn. “They’re totally only bringing this Niall guy on so they can make all of us swoon over him before breaking his heart and making him the lead on the next season. There’s no way that him and Harry make it to the end of this thing.”

Luke takes another sip of his wine while making a disappointed sound. “See that’s what I think they’re doing with this Alex situation.” He gestures toward the screen where Alex is once again batting his lashes at Jack. (Which prompts Michael to groan before taking another sip. This week’s drinking game really wasn’t messing around.)

“Like I’m telling you there is no way they would give up having Jack as the bartender, he’s fucking hilarious. Plus then we get a whole run of promo ads for the next season with Alex’s pouty face. Which, hate to break it to you, dude, is much cuter than Niall’s.”

“Take that back, Niall is adorable.”

Luke raises his hands in surrender. “Not saying he isn’t cute. Just saying he’s not as cute.”

Michael shakes his head. “Goddamn, what are you turning me into?”

They watch for a while with minimal comments back and forth. Jamie and Damon get into a fight over what he decides to eat for breakfast (he’s spent the season attempting to convince her he’s a vegan and she caught him red-handed with both bacon and cheese). Harry and Niall write songs for each other on the beach (“musicians have the best break-ups there is no way that’s not what’s going to happen, Luke”). Luke continues to make heart-eyes every time Ashton Irwin comes on screen to welcome a new contestant to the beach house or to address the audience about the structure of the show. Michael suggests that they make a drinking game rule for every time Luke zones out when Ashton comes on screen shirtless. Luke blushes and flips him off.

The episode is winding down, and Luke and Michael are slumped against the back of the couch (very well wine drunk at this point in the two hour episode) when an ad from the network sounds out providing details on how to sign up to be a contestant or how to nominate someone for the next season. 

“Hey,” Michael starts, his head rolling to the side to meet Luke’s eyes. “we should sign each other up for the show. That way I can actually meet a man and you can attempt to swoon the host. Their ratings would go nuts if a contestant rode off into the sunset with that god of a man.”

“As if either of us would ever have the energy to be a TV personality,” Luke scoffs. “Like everyone on this is totally expected to be an influencer once it’s all over and I just don’t think I could stand myself if my job was to try to get people to buy essential oils and supplements.”

Michael laughs as he stands to collect their empty glasses and snack bowls while the preview for next week’s episode plays. “Just saying, man, like with this new schedule you’ve got, what are the odds you’re able to date anyone?”

Luke rolls his eyes, though if he’s being honest, it’s definitely something he’s been thinking about. “Whatever, that’s a problem for another day. Now, what are your official finale predictions? Because I’m willing to literally put money down on a dramatic scene of Jack and Alex calling whatever they have off, sunset in the background and that new Selena Gomez song playing before camera cuts and they announce the new lead.”

Michael marches back into the living room and throws a $20 bill down on the coffee table. “Harry and Niall make it all the way to the overnight date before Harry gives some shit like ‘the music just isn’t there anymore’ and then they play that new Julia Michaels song while Niall cries.”

“Deal.”

I think the pansexual flag is probably my favourite of all of the Pride flags. It’s just so warm and happy! Pansexuality is the sexual attraction to people regardless of gender. As you may have guessed, the stripes on the flag represent attraction to those who identify as female (pink), those who identify as male (blue) and those who identify as non-binary (yellow). It differs from bisexuality in that bisexuals are typically not attracted to all genders whereas pansexuals are. Books that feature pansexual main characters aren’t very common but I’m hoping that will change over the coming years as more well-known faces are opening up about their pansexuality -Miley Cyrus, Cara Delevingne and Janelle Monae have all come out as pansexual- and as understanding of it increases. June is pansexual, Selena is demisexual, both are plus sized and this sugary sapphic romance is perfect for anyone who loves a fluffy burst of cuteness. Low on angst, high on acceptance and loveliness.

3. Seven Ways We Lie by Riley Redgate.

When rumours of a student-teacher affair start to surface at Paloma High School, it turns out everyone has secrets and seven unlikely friends are about to come together amidst the drama. Lucas is the pansexual character and he’s so incredibly likeable. There is also an ace character and lots of cultural diversity, so pick it up if you’re looking for a great character-driven inclusive YA contemporary.

4. The Library Of The Unwritten by A. J. Hackwith.

Claire is Head Librarian at The Library of the Unwritten, a place in Hell where all of the unfinished books go but when a Hero escapes from his story, she must get him back but it triggers a terrifying power struggle between Heaven and Hell. Claire is openly pansexual and there are references to multiple other characters being queer. It’s a unique supernatural fantasy adventure that true book lovers will lap up.

5. Fledgling by Octavia E. Butler.

When a young girl loses her memory after a horrifying attempted murder, she realises that she doesn’t want for normal human needs because she is in fact an Ina -a genetically modified vampire. Sexuality as we know it is not really present in Fledgling due to the complex relationships between humans and Ina. The book challenges the rigidity of sexualities as we know them but pansexuality is the closest word that we have to describing it. This is a very unique strange sci-fi novel that has so much to say about human life.

6. Miss Meteor by Tehlor Kay Mejia and Anna-Marie McLemore.

No girl who looks like Lita or Chicky has ever won the Miss Meteor pageant so the ex-best friends decide to team up and smash the long-held standards of the pageant. Chicky is an androgynous pansexual and there is a lot in this book that deals with questioning and self-acceptance but it’s done in a light-hearted manner. It’s a fun, three-dimensional, magical realism story with wonderful characters.

7. Verona Comics by Jennifer Dugan.

Jubilee and Ridley’s parents are rival comic book store owners but when the two teens meet at a convention, they can’t help but fall for each other. Jubilee is pan and Ridley is bi and there is some discussion about the differences between the two, as well as Jubilee questioning whether she’s allowed to identify as queer because she has only dated guys. It’s a Romeo and Juliet retelling, so there is a lot of darkness, depiction of mental health issues and suicidal ideation.

8. The Long Way To A Small Angry Planet by Becky Chambers.

When Rosemary joins the crew of the Wayfarer ship, she doesn’t expect much other than the chance to explore space a little but the madcap diverse crew offer so much more. It’s never explicitly stated but if you understand what pansexuality is, then you’ll recognise it in Sissix and potentially in Jenks too in his romance with Lovey. This is a wonderfully quirky, funny, character-driven sci-fi series that celebrates diversity and acceptance through a thoroughly loveable cast.

I've seen you're doing fancast, but nothing for Alex? :( What about Marissa and Burg? If you don't have a fancast for the three of them, a description would be great! Also, I'm headcanoning their group chat name as "The Fab Four" :)

Honestly, Alex and Burg didn’t get fancasts because they’re newer. I very often don’t have fancasts until people ask me or I have to come up with something for fanart. When I had fanart done, Matt got lots of directions that said things  like: sort of like this, but taller/shorter/different hair. Cupid didn’t have a fancast for 3 years. Mills at least a year. And most of them come from my stumbling on someone. Like, I watched Cloak and Dagger and was like, “Oh. There’s Mills.” It’s why Micah’s is so random. Because I knew what he looked like, didn’t have a cast for him and then saw this random guy on a crafting reality show and knew that was what Micah looked like. Even with Noah, I have to be like, Corbin at this age but with different hair. Sorry that’s such a long explanation to a simple ask. I try not to be long-winded and often fail. So if you have ideas after you read this, feel free to send them and I’ll look at them. :D

Alex: He’s a big guy. By the end of Stronger, he’s 6’1” and Kent says he’s taller every time they see him. He will be 6’3” by the end of his junior year. He says he doesn’t need new clothes, but he does because he will not stop growing. He’s going to be like Jack, coming back after every summer more bulky. Brown straight hair that he keeps short enough that he doesn’t have to put effort into it. I’m hesitant to give an actor because I know when I stumble on one I like better, I will change it. But maybe a young Chris Evans for now? I will try to post when I find one I like better. Marissa: I’m sorry to Marissa. I just forgot about her because she wasn’t on the list for the last ask. Selena Gomez in the time of Wizards of Waverly Place.

Burg: I just googled forever trying to find someone I liked and I just failed. He has light-brown curly hair. He’s 5’10 in Stronger and still growing. He tries to bulk up because he feels short so he’s muscular. He wears contacts to play hockey but often wears glasses when he’s not playing hockey. All the guys consider him to be sort of brainy and this doesn’t help. He and Hunter are most likely to go to college and actually care about classes. His face hasn’t lost all his baby fat in a cute way. I’d almost say young Joshua Jackson, but his face is too slim to be Burg and his nose is wrong.

I think your headcannon for their group chat is accurate. Alex would be too lazy to title it. Burg probably wouldn’t think of it. Marissa might not call Alex fabulous so Noah clearly named the chat.

Different styles, but both incredibly interesting and well-made. Loves planes.

RealLifeLore: Similar to HAI/Wendover, videos generally go between 6min to 12min. Lots of interesting and diverse topics with a fun tone. Geography videos and hypothetical questions galore. Super well-made, too. Loves Toyota Corollas.

Polymatter: Similar to Wendover and RLL. Videos are serious and educational, covering a big range of topics as well, including currencies, economics, the entertainment industry, etc. Some of the prettiest and smoothest animations ever.

Scary/Mysteries

Bedtime Stories: A channel producing 20-30 minute videos about a diverse array of mysteries: cryptids, aliens, disappearances, true crime, you name it. Each video features original black and white artwork to go with the narration, and the atmosphere it manages to create is impeccable. Very well-researched, and very mindful and respectful of the victims it talks about. Highly reccommended.

Nexpo: Youtuber that specializes in investigative videos about a variety of mysteries, both from the internet and from real life. He’s covered anything from video game mysteries, to reddit enigmas, to ARGs, to real life dissapearances and unsettling occurences. He has a series called “Disturbing Things From Around The Internet”, which is absolutely chilling. Super engaging and terrifying. As we say, everybody gangsta until Nexpo says “Let’s take a look...”.

Barely Sociable: Similar to Nexpo, he puts out long, documentary-style videos about internet and real life mysteries. He’s dived into varios videos about the dark web and the silk road, and is currently doing a multiple-part series about the mystery regarding the identity of the creator of Bitcoin. Really cool videos.

LEMMiNO: King of quality over quantity. He might not upload much, but when he does it’s an absolute delight. He makes 20-30min long documentary-style videos about diverse topics, mostly centering on mysteries and other curious occurrences, such as the Battle of Los Angeles, The Mandela Effect, or the Dyatlov Pass Incident. INCREDIBLY high-quality video, you really feel like watching a TV documentary.

Gaming

Achievement Hunter: A group of people who play games and are kinda terrible at them most of the time, and who are part of Rooster Teeth, the guys who make shows like RWBY and RvB. Not only do they play video games (such as Minecraft, GTA, GMod, and countless more), they also play board games, and have a variety of other live action shows you can enjoy. If you decide to get into them, it’s a one way trip, but what a trip it is!

Press Buttons and Talk: The gaming channel of Alex Mankin and SungWon Cho (yes, ProZD!). They upload every day, and have played a wild variety of games, so I’m sure there-s something for everyone. Their Ace Attorney playthroughs are perfection, as they voice all the characters and give birth to countless hilarious inside jokes along the way.

TAEHYUNG (Taeter tot): You were sitting on your Bed trying to watch On My Block all the way through without any interruptions since the new season came out next month. (NO SERIOUSLY MY HUSBAND BETTER LIVE)

Taehyung had other plans clearly as he came in the room and walked to your side of the bed and sat on your lap, wrapping his long arms around your neck and gave you a closed mouth smile. He looked down at you as you huffed and paused the TV to make eye contact with the kid like young man.

"What, are we switching roles again? TaeTae it's too early now get off" you whined and pushed him to his side of your shared bed but, all he did was pout and Lay on your legs.

"I'm just craving more attention from you that's all Jagi" he mumbled against your thigh as he rubbed his head on it as if he were a cat. You however, just rolled your eyes but couldn't help but smile... Lord you loved him so much it hurt.

"Nuh uh! You just don't want me to be looking at Ruby" you smirked making Tae instantly jump up and sit with his legs under him on the bed.

"You always watch Interviews he's done, you stalk his social media, you have pictures of him in your phone. What about me?" He said while giving you his box smile.

"Jason Genao is My little tiny baby he's so short" you said before looking at your remote to find the play button so you could resume your show and once you did you were completely fixated on 'Ruby Martinez'. Taehyung whined and rolled off the bed before getting up off the floor and stomping out.

You were enticed by your show but you heard loud laughter from down stairs and you tried to ignore it

Once you made it half way down stairs you seen Tae on the couch watching TV, he was watching Wizard's of Waverly place and that's when it clicked.

"Y/n isn't Alex just Clever? Selena played her really well I think , don't you?" He said smiling at the TV and wiggling his eyebrow. You sighed and took the remote from him and shut the TV off making him look at you and attempt to protest against your actions.

"Nope I don't want to hear it Taehyung Kim" was all you said before you sat on his lap and layed down with your head on his chest , and your feet on the arm rest of the couch. You could tell Taehyung was smiling.

"Nice try. I like the whole plan to make me Jealous but if all you can do is Selena then do better" you said sighing softly.

"I have no idea what you are talking about" he mumbled with his lips on your forehead.

"Riiiight" you said before rolling your eyes and closing them enjoying the moment because , even Jason Genao couldn't compare to Taehyung and his cute childlike ways.

You were just so happy "Gosh you are one fine specimen" you said while smiling extremely hard at the screen that held the angelic face of your favorite artist. A few moments later your Front door opened and you didn't bother to look away from the screen as you knew it was only Jungkook.

"Gorgeous where are youu?" Jungkook called out to you but were still looking at the TV.

"In the living room handsome" you replied. Footsteps came closer and you noticed Jungkook from your side vision. He came to hug you from the side and you let him but, you dodged his kiss that he tried to plant on your lips "no wait, this is the best part!".

Jungkook frowned "well pause it and give me my damn kiss" he said with his hands on his hips. You paused the TV and looked at him like;

He instantly became Timid.

"I mean- give me my damn kiss.. Please?" Jungkook scratched his forehead awkwardly as he looked down not wanting to see you look at him that way. Soon he looked up unafraid of your intimidating glance anymore and looked you in the eyes.

"Just one quick kiss" he said while puckering his lips and moving towards you with out stretched arms but you put your hand up so his lips collided with it instead

"uh uh you too close" you replied to his gesture before grabbing the remote from the table and resuming the music video so, kook just huffed and sat on the Recliner chair. Once the video was done a commercial came up and it was Ariana Grande who now graced the screen.

"She's so pretty I love her" you coo'd

"Ya know I bet she'd give me a kiss if I wanted one" Jungkook grumbled "I agree though" he sighed. "She's something magnificent" he said looking at the TV with the singer on it. You looked at him with your hands on your hips and a slight frown.

"Really, Tell me what else do you like about Ms. Grande?" You said stepping closer to him. "Well her hair? It's so long and silky, her smile is one I could look at all day, she's so bold and her dimples? Still nothing compared to Namjoon Hyung's but still cute" she chuckled.

Ohh so that's the game he was playin? Well you could play along. You huffed and crossed your arms "well why not go tell her that instead of talking about her to your actual girlfriend" you pouted as you tried to make your best dramatic exit and boy he was buying into your act so much. He jumped up and wrapped his arms around you from behind and swung you around.

"I was just playing Jagiya. You know I don't think anyone is as magnificent as you, I just wanted to make you a little jealous." he said turning you to face him. You shrugged.

"I know I was just playing along." You winked at him and kissed his chin since you didn't feel like standing on your tippy toes.

"Just for that though you're gonna wait even longer for a kiss now" you whispered before walking away. "Y/n nooo" Jungkook whined.

You already knew he was about to whine by his jutted out lip "Mwo? You'd rather go visit someone's mother than see your boyfriend practice?" You looked at him frowming a bit.

"No I never said that" you groaned .

"It's fine I guess.. I'll see you when I get home. Although I'd really love it if you were there. Hearing words of encouragement , making me laugh, playing on stage..." Jimin said while walking towards the kitchen side door slowly but still facing you. You almost ran and jumped into his arms.

"I guess I'll be leaving now.. Without my Baby." He sighed exaggeratingly .

"My hand is on the knob.. Twisting" he said looking at you with hopeful eyes but all you did was wave "Seriously Jagi?" . You just laughed "Bye baby I'll see you later" you said while blowing him a kiss but he flicked it away.

"Ehh I don't want it." He said before finally leaving out the door. You sighed and grabbed a muffin off the counter before biting it. "Why, why do I always give in?" You whined to yourself. You grabbed another muffin and headed out the door where Jimin had exited that lead to your garage.

"Jimin don't forget to eat th-" you began but stopped once you saw Jimin making your neighbor laugh up a storm and something told you that what he was sayin probably wasn't even that funny but the Cougar had always had her eyes on Jimin since you guys moved in that neighborhood. You walked closer and soon you seen her more clearly; push up sports bra and yoga shorts with nikes, hair in a ponytail, make up caked on and, perfume that probably was fly repellent. She seen you appear and smiled causing Jimin to turn around.

"Oh Y/n this is Mrs. Christy" . Oh so she was married and hitting on your boyfriend? "More like Mrs. crusty" you said under your breath so no one would hear.

"So where are you headed?" She asked smiling innocently at Jimin

"oh I was on my way out to my sound check, my girlfriend can't make it to see me sadly because she already has plans" Jimin pouted while looking your way.

"Well throw me under the bus" you scoffed.

"Ohhh sweetie that's unfortunate but you know I'm a fan of your group and I'd love to watch" she said while touching Jimin's right shoulder.

Before she could responde you turned and pulled Jimin towards the car by his hand as he waved and turned to Face the woman. "Oh, goodbye Mrs. Christy it was nice chatting with you" he said.

He went to the driver side as you went to the passengers.

"You're really funny you know that Park?" You said. "Just wanted you to come with me" he shrugged while giving you his signature smile. "And attempting to make me jealous was the way to go?Tuh yeah right." You scoffed. "Ahh now Jagiya you know it worked a bit" he smirked. "Shut up. Get in. Drive" you said while glaring at Jimin before seating yourself in the passengers seat of the car.

"I love you More" he chuckled before getting in the car as well.

JIN (Jineus):

Jin told you about the Sound check they had today and you said you couldn't make it but were secretly planning to surprise Jin. He had made a Big deal about How Jimin's girlfriend was going to be there and so, he wanted his there as well.

"Yahh, Jagi you don't even have to come to support the others but just me" You remembered him saying. You laughed to yourself as you pulled into the reserved parking of the Arena. You got out and headed towards the back entrance and showed your pass to the security as they let you in without much hesitation, you were excited because you knew Jin would be so goofy and more energetic now as he always was however, seeing you just added to that. So you finally saw a hall entrance that was lit Dimly with blue and purple light fixtures and that's how you knew the boys were in there.

You walked into the main part of the huge arena just looking around at all the seats that would be filled later. You looked towards the stage to see Jin instantly and once you locked eyes he smiled like a kid on Christmas but soon turned his attention to the lady in front of him, he looked at you with a mischievous grin on his face and your smile Instantly turned into confusion.

"What the hell are you up to Kim?" You mumbled. You walked up the steps that led to the stage "Y/n you made it" Namjoon chirped "Yeah Hi Joonie" you said with your eyes fixated on your boyfriend and the woman in front of him. You got closer to them and Jin looked at you

"Ohhh my Sweet Y/n you made it! " He said acting shocked as if he hadn't known you were there. He then looked at the woman and turned her to face you.

"This is Seungnin, our beautiful Tech support lady.. Isn't she gorgeous?" Jin asked looking at you innocently but you could see right through that innocent facade.

"She's stunning" you smiled kindly at the woman facing you, she bowed to you "Thank you I'll excuse myself" she blushed and scurried away. You looked at Jin smirking who was just shocked "That didn't bother you?"

"What didn't?" You asked pretending to be clueless.

"Me complimenting her like that. It didn't make you even a little.." Jin trailed off "Jealous? Oh no honey I know you only have eyes for me" you said. "Ahh yes my beautiful Princess, you know I was just trying to bug you. Nobody can make me as happy as you do" Jin gently said while wrapping his arms around your shoulders, and leaning your head on his chest to embrace you.

"I know" you sighed contently.

CHARLY BLISS - CAPACITY

Katherine St Asaph: My suspicion that Young Enough is going to sophomore-slump hard and laboredly is at war with the thrilling, buzzing joy that's suffused every venue I've seen them play, and also with what feels like several weeks straight of "I'm at capacity, I'm spilling out of me" being an earworm. And also, perhaps the subconscious cause: my current millennially burned out state of needing to have a full-time job, plus a side job, plus freelance writing, plus an ill-fated attempt to learn real analysis at the same time (please especially don't try this), plus a pile of grovercode needing turned into a presentable product in a week (or this), plus a dwindling social life, plus not dying, plus the knowledge that even all this isn't stopping the rest of the world from lapping me on every axis. "A couple of things is enough": what a great fantasy. [7]

Ryo Miyauchi: "Capacity" captures the awkwardness in the process of transition. Hissing drum-machine ticks and bleeding Casio notes that sound inspired by early Rilo Kiley stick out of Charly Bliss's usual get-up like new accessories on an outfit during a trial period, but those new add-ons move the band's music into a slightly later era of indie-rock without overtly messing with the "bubblegrunge" of the last record. As the music shifts in tone, so does Eva Hendricks, who seem less sardonic not just through her more paced delivery but also her more matter-of-fact lyrics. [6]

Ian Mathers: Sometimes it feels like me and everyone I know are still sentimental, anxious kids and what is "sometimes nothing is delicious" but Mulaney's "in terms of instant relief, cancelling plans is like heroin" with a starker anhedonia? But I think the restless buzz of "Capacity", coating the surprisingly steady, sturdy song structure, would appeal even if it didn't touch the exposed nerve of this week's minor breakdown quite so hard (but it does that, too). It's still early in the year, not too late to try for "Sever every microscopic atom of connection to / 'I can barely keep myself afloat when I'm not saving you'" as a personal resolution. [9]

Joshua Minsoo Kim: Musically, it's less exciting than what Charly Bliss have provided in the past. But more than that, it's the song's lack of development and dynamic range that turns "Capacity" into a frustrating listen. There's bright synth arpeggios and pounding drums but they're part of an arid musical landscape that sucks the life out of everything -- even Hendricks's idiosyncratic voice sounds anonymous here. The toplines are solid, though, so I'm still holding out hope for Young Enough. [5]

Alex Clifton: I feel like Emily Haines comparisons are inevitable; Eva Hendricks shares her gift of a bright, clear voice that glides. Halfway through the song it begins to swallow itself and even my usual songwriting kryptonite (contrapuntal melodies sung by the same person) doesn't manage to hold my attention as it might in other circumstances. Alfred Soto: Not until the second half with the addition of shiny, basic guitar lines does it exceed its minimal capacity. Before that moment, the synth arpeggio and Eva Hendricks' voice harmonize too well: cutely, in places mawkishly. Yet it coheres, if not at the level of "Percolator." [6]

Joshua Copperman: "Capacity" features a stock drum loop, an almost wholly synthetic backdrop, and a trebly, over-processed main vocal. "Capacity" also rhymes "me" with "me," and "wrong" and "wrong." Anyone more attuned to 'authentic music' will be irritated to no end, but that might be the point. The music perfectly mirrors the inability to make everyone happy, leaving all parties unfulfilled and unsure where their priorities lie. In the way "Capacity" alienates everyone musically and lyrically, the song becomes more relatable. There are hints of embracing the burnout in the lyrics, but the music completes the anti-people-pleasing message. Anyone talking about burnout (except for Anne Helen Petersen) just sounds like the ear-piercing sonics of this song to those that don't understand. Too many bands pivot to synth pop in order to be more accessible, but true to their songs' message, Charly Bliss intentionally please no one but themselves. [8]

Iris Xie: While Ava Max tries to fake meaningfulness with "So Am I" and Julia Michaels and Selena Gomez are insincere about their experiences with "Anxiety" -- Charly Bliss actually does the work of making art that communicates what it is like to recover from the dark, twisted anxiety of people pleasing, while dropping a latticework of references to that lived experience. When Eva Hendricks snarls "desecrated and complacent," when she rises in elation with about being a "sentimental, anxious kid," I wince in recognition. How have my own experiences of being mistreated, combined with overthinking and settling for crumbs, created maladaptive coping mechanisms where I people pleased and operated from my insecurities? The past few months have been full of being honest with myself on new levels -- I realized that absolutely no one in my current life wants me to be at capacity at all, and they are all rooting for my genuine happiness. Amazingly, "Capacity" embodies a significant part of that experience. Amongst fuzzed guitars and vibrant chimes that oscillate between warmth, danger, and concern, the pre-chorus is electrifying in its construction: "Sever every microscopic atom of connection to / "I can barely keep myself afloat when I'm not saving you." The melody's quiet, stirring confidence repeats itself in the hook, "I'm at capacity, I'm spilling out of me / It's got nothing to do with me." When Hendricks sings this, it is with a searing mix of joy, resignation, and defiance, and is reminiscent of being high on hope, as seen in Grimes' "Artangels" and Perfume's "Fushizen Na Girl." When I sing along to the hook, and I hear that little thunderclap of drums that affirm the shaking epiphany, I feel simultaneously elated and "god, fuck it, why was it like this?" But it's okay. Releasing old survival mechanisms that no longer serve me, with the help of therapy and support networks, has helped me understand an important truth. I no longer need to embody old roles that use overextended selflessness as false ways of receiving the self-love that truly, only I can give myself. Therefore, "Capacity" represents the sunniness rising from a relentless miasma, and the work it takes to figure out what your true capacity is. [8]

Vikram Joseph: Living one's best life is a phrase that a few of us might have used on occasion over the last couple of years - probably with a sense of humorous detachment, but also, almost certainly, with a kind of low-key reverence for the concept, which is, surely, the absolute platonic ideal of existence, right? It's easily confused, by me at least, with doing as many things as possible all at once; trying to keep myself and everyone else happy and to find comfort in the happy exhaustion of filling almost every evening and weekend with plans, and yet never shaking off the sensation that I'm still not doing enough, not meeting enough people, not living well enough. Fortunate, then, that I've been blessed in recent weeks with two extremely relatable songs on the subject - Alex Lahey's excellent "Don't Be So Hard On Yourself", and this (even better) Charly Bliss single. Transitioning from the salt-spray power-pop of their debut album to rich bubblegum pop, it's a hooky, summery self-care anthem cushioned by dense, foamy pillows of synths. And it culminates in a spectacular two-chord (it's rare to hear the old I-IV sound so climactic, or so well-earned) middle eight which must be the most ecstatic-sounding bonfire of anxieties I've heard in ages. "I was raised an East Coast witch / like doing nothing's sacrilegious / triple overtime ambitious / sometimes nothing is delicious," Eva Hendricks sings in her wonderful, weightless helium howl, that last line sounding like a revelation. Maybe 2019 is the year of doing less! Probably not, though. [9]

George

I feel kind of bad going to an open house for a place we’re not going to buy. Noelle says not to worry about it. We’re generating more foot traffic. Liz says we can look at colors and design for our house while we’re here. Construction hasn’t even started on the house we bought. It’s almost an apartment building, but not really. All five of our houses, Corbin and Katie’s, Morgan and Selena’s, Liam’s and Bens, Elizabeth’s, and Boston and Anya’s, are connected in the main level and the basement. You can lock the doors between houses, but still. Apartment building.

Because construction hasn’t started yet, we have to look at doors and tiles and floors and paint colors and furniture and everything that goes into a home. It’s exciting, but also daunting.

The houses we look at are absurdly nice. I can’t imagine living on this much. I can’t imagine growing up on this much. But the pension the Naryoren paid us for the rebellion and the whole thing with the destruction of neo-Nazis and general saving of the world from eternal damnation has made us this rich, at least. On top of that, grateful Paranormals who recognize us from posters and speeches sometimes give us things for free, which is crazy. We’re like every other veteren. We are children and we did start the whole thing, but still. We don’t need all this free stuff. Being able to buy whatever I want whenever I want is a new and strange occurrence for me. I go out of my way to buy the cheapest food items at the grocery store even if it’s rutabaga, and last week Noelle had to talk me into buying a magazine. Maybe I’ll get used to it. Maybe it’s just that the war ended two months ago, and all ten of us are still living in connected hotel rooms, and I just got bumped up to therapy every two days instead of going there every day at seven before work. I started working at an animal shelter again just to feel normal again, and because I felt bad spending all this money without working for it at all. My friends tried to talk me out of it--we should enjoy life now, they said, because we’ve been putting our lives on the line for three years and even before that was hard. I don’t think I deserve to just not work, though.

The sun is blinding as we hop out of the tram--the Naryoren travel system that hangs just above the ground, soundlessly slicing through the sky and making the ground clear for people walking or biking.

Liz pulls stylish leopard-print sunglasses out of her bag. The Switzerland district is hilly and green, covered in dark trees. The house we’re looking at today is huge, with thirty rooms (what do they even use thirty rooms for?) and four stories. The estate is even larger--it extends a good way off the sides, although you can still yell to your neighbors--and the backyard is huge. I’d call it a waste of space if the land wasn’t able to be accessed by everyone, even though the owners are the only ones who can put things on it and no one can disturb their peace by having a cookout in the middle of the night or walking the dogs early in the morning.

It takes us a few minutes to even find the room the realtor is in. She (she has her pronouns on her business card, and all the business card information is on the advertisement sheet) has cookies in an intricate glass dish in front of her. Behind her are far too many glass cabinets of china. At that point, you can’t even pretend you’re going to use it.

“What flavor are the cookies?” Liz asks.

“Vanilla sugar cookies,”

“Oh, I can’t eat that. Vanilla extract is haram,”

“Sorry,” the realtor says.

“It’s okay, I don’t mind,”

Taking a cookie when Liz can’t seems rude, so I don’t. We head into the next room, a library.

“I love these wooden panels,” Noelle says. The bookshelves are white and made to look very rustic.

“I do like this soft white aesthetic a lot,” Liz replies. “Maybe we could replace the blue with another color though? Like pink. I just think something softer would do, you know?”

“There is a lot of pink on our vision board. Pink with a few splashes of orange could look good,”

“You want those pillows with the tassels you saw at Lagra Alla Saker, don’t you.” Lagra Alla Saker is the closest to a department store the Naryoren have. All of the places are local here, however, and a lot of the things that can be made by hand are, making each item unique. We didn’t buy the pillows last time because we didn’t have anywhere to put them, and we got the business card of the person who makes it, so it’s not that big of a deal if there aren’t any left.

We keep searching room after room, Noelle and Liz strangely serious. After the war, everyone gets serious sometimes, for minutes or hours or even days. For every time we seem normal, twice we get set back.

“Is this kitchen number five?”

“No, one of them was a pantry,” Liz corrects me. Why would someone need five kitchens?

“Oh, George. Do you think we should add a room like this?” Noelle points in the next room. Inside, pillows are strewn over the floor between cat trees, and a cluster of kittens play keepaway while the older cats watch.

I can’t help but squeal. “It’s perfect, oh they’re so cute!”

I just got my cat back from my dad, who had him during the war. Technically our hotel doesn’t allow cats. They don’t mind, for people who are paying for five rooms and have been for months. I’m pretty sure they never have and never will receive business as good as ours, especially because they can boast that they are hosting the only ones willing to start a whole war. On accident. We started a war on accident.

“So, whaddya think George? Should we convert the basement into a cat cove?” Noelle wiggles her eyebrows at me. I laugh. “Maybe?” Who has so much even their cat gets a room? Alex, Autrey and I had to share a room our whole life, and our house only had four rooms; a bathroom, two bedrooms, and a living room/kitchen/dining room. All this excess is making me uneasy. Excess is what makes people so desperate for money they’ll employ sweatshops to do it.
