Keep the Oneness with the Transformed Human Virtues by Drinking the Spirit of Jesus
The first item of a walk worthy of God’s calling is for us to be diligent to keep the oneness of the Spirit with the transformed human virtues strengthened by and with the divine attributes; for this, we need to be transformed and we also need to eat and drink the humanity of Jesus in spirit. Amen! We believers in Christ are learning to live the Christian life according to the divine revelation…

When recognizing a mistake, don't you instinctively strive for improvement? Similarly, when life knocks someone down, don't they inherently seek to rise stronger than before?
Our inner light is the greatest source of guidance. Is it not fitting that celebrities are called stars, shining bright? When we close our eyes, darkness fades, revealing our own radiant potential. Didn't the dragon's tail sweep away a third of the stars and hurled them to earth, reminding us God's Word is our eternal illumination?

Yeah I am mad about how the authors treated their sweet angel Abeke actually.
Bad things that happened to Abeke:
Mom, only person to understand her, died pre-series
Dad and sister are emotionally abusive
Tricked by her enemies and roped onto the wrong side
Distrusted by the rest of the Four and believed to be a spy
Targeted by Meilin in particular
Kidnapped by obnoxious pre-teen boys
Gets frostbite
Gets concussed
Gets stabbed
Gets captured
Gets beaten up by Meilin
Lied to and betrayed by her dearest friend
Meanwhile dad DISOWNS her
Understandable depressive episode
Makes up with dad because he apparently decided he wanted to keep treating his daughter like shit
Mauled by cougars
Loses Uraza to arch-nemesis Zerif
Another extremely understandable depressive episode
Nicknamed "hollow-girl" which tells you a lot
Almost killed by Uraza on two separate occasions
Friend* killed by Uraza
Denied proper resolution with said friend
Doesn't get to kill arch-nemesis Zerif
Doesn't get to use her Rain Dancer powers a single time
Attacked by ants
Mid bond token
Can't even keep her cat
Justice for Abeke.
#jesus himself didn't suffer so much as abeke#reading this list back like what the fuck was going on#abeke has not done a single thing wrong in her life ever#yes some of these events were necessary and furthered her as a character#but many were not. and some were downright harmful to her character growth#are we ready to talk about how the black girl was the designated punching bag of the series? (stares directly into the camera)#(to drive my point home consider how she was the only one of the four to have to bleed in order to wake the bond token spirit. lol)#and what is she given to show for it!#nothing. shitty bio family. dead boyfriend. MID BOND TOKEN.#i'd be more satisfied with it all if she got her moment to kill zerif/the wyrm and be the hero and become even more revered and glorified#in the world's eyes#but nope#zerif was the hero in the end i guess (eye twitches)#there's such little payoff for the seven hells she went through it's kind of sickening#meilin's apology to her is incredibly brief. no scene of rollan or conor apologizing.#nothing at all from her family. in fact blatant confirmation that NOTHING has changed and she's still presumably being mistreated.#not a single moment alone with redeemed shane to talk about everything. not one.#abeke my forever favourite. my dearest beloved. the authors loved to hurt you but mark my words i will give you the happiest ending of all#you will be honoured in life and your name will be remembered long after the others' have faded into obscurity#people hundreds of years into the future will form a religion around you probably. and you will be worshipped as a goddess. as you deserve#text#original erdas#spirit animals#spirit animals books#spirit animals series#abeke

Everyday we must wake up and die to ourselves and pick up our crosses and follow Christ. This is so hard to do. It can be very challenging mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually, financially. Everyday we have to fight against our flesh and our sins. Everyday we have to fight against our own thoughts and our own desires and our own wants and our own needs our own emotions and feelings.
It's hard. I struggle with it every single day. Sometimes every hour of every minute of everyday.
But when we deny ourselves. When we turn to the Lord. When he touches us with his spirit. Oh man. There's nothing like that peace.
Walk with the Lord. Talk to Christ. Every chance we can get we should turn to him. In good and in bad. Take heart my brother. Worry not my sister. He sees our hearts. He hears our troubles and our pains. Everyday is a challenge in walking in step with the Lord, it's hard work. But there's a beautiful in it like no other.
I'll pray for you, please pray for me. I love you all 🤍

Walking in the Light
Jesus said, “I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life” (John 8:12). And He also declared, “I have come as Light into the world, so that everyone who believes in Me will not remain in darkness” (John 12:46). When we trust in Christ as our Savior, God rescues us “from the domain of darkness” and transfers us “to the kingdom of His…

What Is Mine: Understanding Jesus's Revelation of Truth
In John 16:13-15, Jesus gives a profound teaching about the Spirit of Truth, the Holy Spirit, and His role in revealing divine truth. By repeating the phrase “what is Mine,” Jesus underscores the unity within the Trinity and the shared mission of glorifying God and communicating His truth to humanity. The Spirit of Truth: A Guide to All Truth Jesus begins by affirming the Holy Spirit’s role as…

Holy Spirit glorifies Jesus
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. (John 16:13-14)
Jesus has been talking on and off about the Holy Spirit and the work He will do since chapter 14. It is pretty clear that the Comforter is the Holy Spirit. John 14:26 spells out for us exactly how Jesus identifies the Comforter as the Holy Spirit. In our quoted verse, he is identified as the Spirit of Truth.
However, I want to focus on one thing, namely “He shall glorify me”.
One of the primary works of the Holy Spirit is that He brings glory to Jesus. Jesus is glorified when sinners turn to Him in repentance. He is glorified when people share testimony. He is glorified when we obey him.
I have a question about the Pentecostal / Charismatic movement and perhaps I am ignorant, but who is glorified when you fall over backwards, when you have no self-control, when you claim to perform miracles? All in the name of the Spirit.
I find it somewhat strange that when going to such churches, the focus is on the Spirit, but if the Holy Spirit is to point sinners to Christ, and there is very little, or no mention of Jesus. I do not see Jesus being glorified.
Then we have the Fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5:23 where among other, we have “Self-control” listed. I see no self-control in falling on your back. In fact, you have lost control because there is always a catcher behind you.
Two Ways to Live? We need to get all our doctrines and practices from our primary source, God’s word. We must not get it from anywhere else.
Father, thank you that Holy Spirit “will guide you into all truth”. Thank you that Your Word is Truth. Thank you that Holy Spirit is Spirit of Truth. Guide us and protect us from all false ways.

Glorified
Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: “Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You, as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him. And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. I have glorified You on the…

Fear of Submission: Ruining Relationships for Centuries
In today’s culture, submission is often viewed as a form of weakness or oppression. Yet, when we study the heart of submission through a biblical lens, we discover that it is not about losing power but about gaining harmony. Submission, partnered with humility, is a cornerstone of healthy relationships—whether in marriage, friendships, or everyday interactions.
The Root of Resistance
The fear of submission often stems from pride and a desire for control. Society teaches us to “put ourselves first,” to fight for our rights, and to never appear vulnerable. While there is a time and place for self-advocacy, the mindset of constant self-focus can breed division. When people refuse to yield to one another out of love and respect, relationships begin to fracture.
Submission in Marriage
In marriage, submission is not one-sided; it’s mutual. Ephesians 5:21 instructs couples to “submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.” This means putting aside selfish desires to serve and honor one another. Husbands are called to lead with sacrificial love, as Christ loves the church, and wives are called to support and respect their husbands. This divine design isn’t about dominance or inferiority but about creating a partnership where both spouses thrive.
However, fear of being “less than” often leads to power struggles. When one or both partners refuse to submit, the marriage becomes a battleground of egos rather than a haven of love and peace. True humility allows both spouses to see submission as a strength that builds trust and unity.
Submission in Friendships
Friendships flourish when humility reigns. When friends are unwilling to compromise or apologize, small disagreements can fester into major rifts. Philippians 2:3-4 reminds us, “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.”
When we practice submission in friendships, we choose to listen, to serve, and to prioritize the other person’s well-being. Friendships rooted in mutual submission grow deeper because they reflect Christlike love and patience.
The Fruit of Humility
Humility is the antidote to the fear of submission. When we let go of pride and embrace a spirit of servanthood, we create relationships that reflect God’s grace. Harmony comes when people stop striving for dominance and instead work together as equals, honoring each other’s strengths and lifting one another up in weaknesses.
By choosing submission and humility, we experience:
1. Deeper Trust – Knowing someone is willing to lay down their own desires for you builds confidence.
2. Stronger Bonds – Mutual submission fosters teamwork and shared purpose.
3. Lasting Peace – Humility diffuses tension and promotes reconciliation.
The fear of submission has sown seeds of disharmony in relationships for centuries. But God calls us to a higher way of living, one that embraces humility and submission as tools for unity, not oppression. By submitting to one another in love, we mirror Christ’s sacrifice and create relationships that glorify God.
Let us not fear submission, but rather see it as an opportunity to reflect the selfless love of Jesus in every relationship. Only then can we break the chains of pride and walk in the freedom of harmony.
