The Hedonist gives me vibes of a person who would try to tell a funny story only to discover that it was actually a traumatic event by seeing the horrified faces of the people they're talking to
LMAO
this already sort of happens in one possible Val variable where The Hedonist tells him their grandma used to call them "tiny hurricane" and he's like "that is not a normal nickname for a child" 😭
Once the party was well underway and people were starting to head out, Tri Delta pledges dressed as cupids began delivering everyone their anonymous roses, the notes all in sealed envelopes, attached to the rose with the recipient's name on the outside.
TO: JESSE HART
@jessehart
jesse,
If you ever get bored
And are in need of a third
Don’t look too hard or too far
Just leave the bedroom door ajar.
May things get better soon. Happy Valentine’s Day.
there's a lot i could say
but i'll leave it at happy valentine's day
Come tell me a secret,
I'll give you good reason.
I think you might deserve better
i love you! you're the best friend ever!
roses are red, doctors condescend
oops. i think this was meant for your father!
an easy mistake to make - just ask your ex-girlfriend.
ABOUT THIS SKELETON:
If there is a party, THE HEDONIST would be there. Constantly surrounded by alcohol, drugs, and plenty of willing people to partake in them. Including THE GOLDEN GIRL. When you need to have a good time, The Hedonist is who you call, always ready to get wild. Granted, Greer used to call him for more than that. Boyfriend at the time or not.
MEET JESSE HART.
{ NICK ROBINSON, 20, CISMALE, HE/HIM } Is that JESSE HART? A JUNIOR originally from LOS ANGELES, they decided to come to Ogden College to study PRE-MED. They’re THE HEDONIST on campus, but even they could get blamed for Greer’s disappearance.
HOW THEY EMBODY THEIR TROPE:
Jesse Hart lived a cushy life in Los Angeles, and with a quasi-famous father (a Dr. Phil wannabe, daytime show where he got to stretch his therapist muscles and wield his last name like a brand-- Matters of the Hart-- blegh) many doors were open to him very early in life. The rules were fast and loose in his house, so Jesse was left untethered and unsupervised most of the time. He sought attention and affection in any and every way he could, finding it as addictive as any drug. And considering his parents were regularly out of town and Jesse had a big house all to himself, by his sophomore year of high school, he had learned that being THE HEDONIST meant he had attention in droves.
RELATIONSHIP WITH GREER:
Jesse is not here for a long time, he’s here for a good time. Greer stoked the flames of that chaotic energy, matching him and then some. Any time they were together, it was a thrill. He fed on her excitement, always working to one-up himself for the next thing to keep that exhilarated smile on her face, keep her calling him in the middle of the night, and sneaking around behind her boyfriend’s back (or sometimes right in front of his face). Jesse and Greer were like gasoline and a lit match: one flick of the wrist away from total combustion.
Fellow tops out there. Anyone else get the need to just completely envelop their bottom? Just go completely primal and wrap as much of yourself around them as you bury your strap/cock as deep into them as possible. As much skin contact as is physically possible as you thrust deeper and deeper. Where the only way closer you could get is if your bodies melted together, and even then you'd keep fucking them in a state of pure carnal bliss. Where you stop being you, you are simply a top, put there to lose yourself in your bottom, and for them to lose themselves in you. To keep them so close it almost hurts as you cum, pumping every last bit of your very being into them. Holding them there for what feels like an eternity after because they are yours and you are theirs, and in that brief yet beautiful moment, you are one. Anyone? No? Just me?
So how healthy was actually the relationship between the hedonist and Augustus?🤨 They were young, he was so much older and although the hedonist was never in the cult lee say Augustus was still very much a cult leader. It ended in a very traumatic way, but is there a chance that the hedonist will think back on it without the rose tinted glasses of nostalgia and go “ahh wait shit when I think if the implications-“ or won’t it matter just because how special it was for them? I mean I love the complexity of it either way but I’m curious how both you and the hedonist view it! 🦦
You're actually the first person to bring this up, which is interesting because I've never seen The Hedonist and Augustus' relationship as healthy! So I'd say I view it as unhealthily codependent, not to mention a tad manipulative from Augustus' side; he'd constantly write to The Hedonist, claiming they had to break up and leaving The Hedonist upset and anxious, only for Augustus to make up with them in the next letter.
As for The Hedonist, though, I don't think they'll ever be able to see past their love and nostalgia for their relationship. Augustus was their first love, and they have a lot of great memories from the relationship (I think it helps most of it happened by letter and not in real life).
(As a sidenote, this is why Evie warned The Hedonist against Augustus. She didn't see it as healthy.)
