Alluka: It's Alluka! And I was closed off from my family because they feared my abilities/wanted to control me and was continually dehumanized and misgendered by them and for a good portion of my life I was separated from the only person who saw me as a person.

Alluka: And I brought some mentos!

Kurapika: Hello, I'm Kurapika and all my friends and family were slaughtered by a notorious gang who stole their eyes and sold them on the black market, now I'm empty and angry at the same time and will dedicate my life to revenge at the cost of my life.

Leorio: Heyyy it's Leorio and my motivation to become a doctor comes from the fact that my childhood friend died because of a preventable disease all because he didn't have the money to afford healthcare.

Kallua meeting Mike Zoldyck for the first time!! This isn’t my assassin au by the way. It’s just an au I made where Killua and Gon are chill with Illumi and Killua’s family mostly and go to the estate sometimes to visit. It’s very goofy Ik. Kallua is very well liked by animals in all aus, like Gon, which is why Mike and Kallua clicked so fast, and Mike showed affection to him. I don't think Kite is Gon's father figure but I also don't think he's NOT Gon's father figure. It's like, yeah Kite doesn't think of Gon as a son (god no.) and I don't think Gon consciously sees Kite as a father figure, but he DOES project a lot of feelings about Ging onto Kite because Kite is his closest tie to Ging and the only way he can feel worthy of his father is through being worthy to Kite. And that desire to be seen by Kite is a lot of what Gon sees as "father figure"-esque, knowingly or not.
