The mother of Sadala: Sadala the ninth used to be a tyrant. She let the power get to her head and did as she pleased with the planet and its people. Only when the mother was defeated by the daughter: Sadala the tenth that the planet seemed to find some peace. Whenever she was asked how she felt about killing her mother, she remained silent. Her mother had done so little with her that she was just another person to her. Killing her was only difficult because she happened to be a great fighter with the power level to back it up.

The Emperor's Dragonfly

In a forest on the outskirts of the largely Asian-inspired fantasy empire of Kinpa, the ninth daughter of a dragonfly couple, Darter and Needle Qingting, leaves the family's pond to grow up from naiad to dragonfly. Named Cui upon completing her emergence, she is provided for and protected by both her family and her teacher, Mizuki the water bug, though she proves to be somewhat brash. One day, Cui is distracted and flies into a reed, falling into the pond where a lonely diving bell spider named Geopum places her in a bubble out of curiosity, but Mizuki manages to locate and rescue her. Cui's parents reprimand her for her recklessness, irritating her to the point where she flies away from home that night.

Meanwhile, the old emperor passes away, and Mayak, the court magician, is sent by royal advisor Kama to find a bride for the new young emperor, Ryo. Mayak comes across Cui just as she is caught in a spiderweb, and rescues her by magically turning her into a human girl, with a longhorn beetle named Han witnessing her transformation. Upon realizing Cui to be a potential bride for Ryo, Mayak convinces her to come live in the palace while also advising her to keep quiet about her true nature to Ryo and Kama as he brings her to be arranged to meet the new emperor. After being delivered to Ryo by Mayak and the palace servants, Cui undergoes teaching under Kama to learn the proper mannerisms for being in the royal court. Meanwhile, Darter, Needle and Mizuki search for Cui. After Mizuki interrogates Geopum, Cui's parents learn from Han what happened to their daughter, and fly to the palace. However, having become enamored with Ryo and imperial life, Cui refuses to leave the palace and return to the family's pond, so Han decides to stay with her for her protection.

To the north, a military outpost is invaded by rebels, under the leadership of the ruthless "Demon Queen" Ryuk Mun. They are assisted by the shapeshifting Jangsan Tiger Tashi, who uses her magic to disguise herself as a surviving soldier and report the attack to Ryo; Empress Dowager Choi issues a conscription decree ordering every family to contribute one man to fight Ryuk's forces. However, Cui becomes suspicious of Tashi, prompting the latter to report this to Ryuk, who orders the shapeshifter and two of her own men, the twins Yinku and Yanku, to eliminate the girl. The three attempt an ambush on Cui and Ryo during a romantic outing, but Han, along with Mizuki, who is visiting to check on her, comically foil them. Finally, Tashi distracts Han by mimicking Mayak's voice, allowing Yinku and Yanku to abduct Cui once she is alone. They bind her and throw her down a well, but Mizuki frees her and helps her to escape.

Her suspicions confirmed, Cui returns to the palace and exposes Tashi as an impostor. However, a panicked Tashi, having realized that Cui is not human as well, forces the latter back into her dragonfly form in front of Ryo and Kama, but is stripped of her magic and turned human by Mayak. Ashamed, Cui flies back to the pond, where Mizuki, Geopum and her family console her. Having escaped capture, Tashi confronts Cui and reveals that she only fights for Ryuk only because Ryuk treats her as an equal rather than an animal. Tashi also reveals that the attacks on the outposts have been a diversion, as Ryuk's true plan is to kill Ryo, whose father had her warlord son executed, during the upcoming new year festival. Having kept her ability to speak to humans, Cui flies back to the palace to warn Ryo of the impending attack. After some consideration, Ryo and the palace staff decide to believe her, and prepare to defend the palace; Tashi, by now sympathetic to Cui and disenchanted with Ryuk, decides to reform and join them.

During the festival, Ryuk's forces overpower the city guards and make their way to the palace, where a battle ensues. Ryuk's men are defeated, but an enraged Ryuk prepares to kill Tashi for her betrayal. However, Cui stops Ryuk from beheading Tashi, and they lure her into a fireworks launching tower; The other bugs, guided by Cui, fire a Huolongchushui cannon at Ryuk, killing the warlady. The city's assembled inhabitants praise Cui and her friends for having saved them, and they bow in honor. Afterwards, Mayuk restores Tashi's powers, and together they turn Cui and her whole family, along with Mizuki, Han and Geopum, into humans so they can all live in the palace together. Cui and Ryo are wed, and go down in history as both great heroes and the benevolent rulers of Kinpa.

.....I'mma use this as an excuse to talk about my dnd characters in a sec lemme just talk about my one rp one I'm still working on.

Danuja: all her pictures haven't been formatted yet, but her name is Danuja which means empress. She's part of league counsel, and a stick int he mud. Basically I wanted to have there be someone on the KanJoh board who made the call to let Pryce be in charge of his gym again, and also be like the epitome of the whole,"it's about image, you're feelings on the matter are invalid. Now act like a proper elite." She existed during the Kanjoh war as well which is where much of her ideals stem from, and she's just sort of antagonist while being seen as a 'good person' by the public.

Lokni MY BOI!!! My first real dnd character. Look he was supposed to be corrupted and become evil, but ended up finding a ghost girl in a knife, and well he got randomly adopted so he randomly adopted her. He also felt a need to act better as he was obsesses with revenge, but while he stood by his obsession secretly was ashamed by it, and didn't want her to follow in his path. Thus he acted better for her, when she was around, and gradually began to realize that with his plan he'd loose everyone. He sort of knew that, but the more time he spent around the party, his brother, his daughter, he realized revenge wasn't worth missing out on their lives and set up a plan to correct the wrong done to his family, but in a way that was noble, that helped more than hurt, and I love him. He was a blood hunter human path of the lycan-werefox, based on zoroak so he had minor illusion capabilities. He performed the spoons, did magic tricks without using magic, was adopted with his brother by a centaur woman after their mother was murdered and his dad went insane. Which speaking of my favorite quote of his was,"Lovely to hear you all are doing wonderfully with leading the red primordial away from the city, um distraction is going well however I do have an update. One that man IS my father, and two my name has activated his murder button. Ah, so help, please and thank you lovelies~! *stabbing noises ensue.*"

Amelia Warforged robot girl swarmkeeper ranger. Sweet bean just woke up one day with bugs living in her, and sees them as her family with no other memories until later in the campaign. She really doesn't want to hurt anyone, and is super sweet just comes off as VERY creepy as she hasn't figured out socialization yet.....and that people get grossed out when you put raw meat inside the gash on your chest to have hundreds of bugs swarm the meat to devour it. She managed to befriend many an enemy despite having awful charisma, found out she was millions of years old, and struggled after loosing a party member with the concept of, hate. She lived to the end of the campaign going on to have a bug sanctuary while estivating the site her old city crashed in guarding the new sun of the land. Best quote from her: Dm: So the squid creature is pointing a gun at you, two flesh golems snarl above her waiting for his command to tear her apart, this looks similar to the ship you awoke from when you first gained consciousness and the computer may tell you something, but you can't reach it....what will Amelia do? Me: Uh....well...there is also the survivor, I know he's being hostile but.....ugh I feel sick cause this could kill her since she's so naive, but she's a peaceful soul...fuck it she'll sit down, criss cross, and go."You...You are hurt. Can I help?" Dm: You feel something probe your mind, do you let it in? The party: Oh fuck we're going to fight brain washed Amelia. Me: She doesn't even hesitate, and let's whatever this is explore anywhere it wants. Dm: Amelia, you've just gained an ally.

Keepa She's a satyr with bubble gum pink hair, pale skin with that soft pink blush, black nose, and gray fur. Cute as a button, and like a warlock or whatever~! Look she has wonderful loving parents they just run a thieves guild, and like stealing is so hard! It's easier to grave rob, so she did for awhile. Then there was this one tomb, and she was feeling a little goofy silly, signed a contract for funzies as a joke, and got dragged into a warlock contract with this suuuper lame lawful sea god. Eventually that just didn't work out, but like there was no way out of the contract without dying. Basically the dm and I weren't really vibing with her plot so we changed her class. SHe flipped off her god, he tried to kill her, and his mortal enemy picked her up and she agreed to be a rouge for the pirate queen. Oh and the sea HATES her, yeah no more beach days ever. But she got to keep her super cool octopus cat that is a freak of nature, and she loves him. Best line from Keepa Keepa: "OOOOOh my gosh! Guy's guy's best name for us. We got a bird guy, two satyr's, a minotaur, and a lycan.....we can call our group the Paw Patrol!" This became cannon, and our DM hated it. Status who knows cause our dm is wrapping her in the current game.

Punch Current character, a kenku who's a monk, homebrew subclass, but basically he punches ghosts. Look his parent's just kinda disappeared, and so he moved in with his best friend and friend's older brother who's parents are dead. That was life for awhile as best friend got tangled in the mafia, tried to kill a girl, who's now their friend, long story there, and then there's a cool dino racing guy that is also dragged into this cause well they gotta cure this sickness on him. My favorite part is cause his speech is limited as a kenku I'm allowed to use any sound from a meme board along with a few phrases, and sign language. I don't do it constantly, but I enjoy being able to smack a meme in the middle of combat. He's chaos, he wants to prove himself by fighting a ghost dragon, his intelligence is seven which is a dolphin, he has anger issues, he is punch. Best line: Brother: Hey uh....I'm sorry about trying to kill you and all, I um. Girl: Don't bother me with apologies, don't fuck with me ever again, and I'm only traveling with you because you ruined my life, and career so the only thing I have going for me is fixing this stupid disease. Unless it's business, don't. talk. to. me. you. cunt. Brother:.....Ok good talk....oh punch, you saw that, huh? Punch: Minecraft oof noise followed by, that's alot of damage meme noise. Brother: OH shut up punch what do you know! Punch: Oh yeah...it's big brain time meme noise.

Basics.

Prometheus Productions has announced its first ever dare event titled “Your Choice,” where all dares are submitted by the public for contracts to follow through on. What all characters are unaware of (and are anxious to find out) are the dares themselves! None of them will be revealed to them until the moment they are dared to do them, where they will be left with a choice to complete it and earn points or decline it and lose points.

However!

You (as a player) will know these dares in advance!

As stated previously, the severity of the dares are listed within 4 levels. As a player, if you would like to participate, you must fill out this form (located here) with the highest level you as a mun feel comfortable playing with your character. In character, the dares are “randomly” selected, meaning they will have no control over what dare is given to them. Of course, Cora or others may hand-select certain dares for certain contracts or even behind the scenes members. You are more than welcome to have your character speculate.

When signing up for a level, you also inherit all dares from the levels beneath it. For example, if you choose level 3, you will not see any dares from level 4 but all those from Levels 1-3 will be at your disposal.

The Set Up.

There will be groups of three (2 contracts and 1 BTS character) participating in the event. The BTS character is referred to as the Sponsor. The job of the Sponsor is to read out the dare, choose which contract it belongs to, and then determine whether or not the contracts have completed their dares.

Each group will be put into an escape room setup. When the groups have been announced, you (as players) may choose one of seven escape room settings to have your characters trapped in (this detail will be released later). Like all escape rooms, the main objective is to escape from it, as it is the only way the dares will stop appearing in the room.

Dares cannot be ignored. If the Sponsor is incapable of doing their job properly, there will be repercussions before the Sponsor is replaced by Ms. Samson herself. This is something all of your characters will be warned about.

Each dare is worth a set amount of points. If the dare is completed, your character gains those points. If they decline it or fail, your character loses those points. Mathematically, it is possible for your character to be cancelled within the game.

If your character declines a dare, their opponent (the fellow contract in the room) is allowed to steal it from them for the chance to earn the points. Declining will not make them lose the points, but failing to complete the dare once it is accepted will. Choose carefully. 

All characters are aware that the Sponsor has the option of completing ONE dare for a contract at their sole discretion. If the Sponsor is successful, the contract still gains the points, but if they fail, the contract will still lose the points.

Details.

Because of Cora’s spiritual beliefs, all dares are inspired and also delivered by means of the Major Arcana cards. This is to say that each dare is printed on the back of one of the cards from the Major Arcana deck. How they enter the escape room is up to you. If you are interested in seeing the exact deck that your characters will be exposed to, you’re more than welcome to see them here.

All groups will be televised live and be available for viewing on Prometheus’ streaming app. Viewership will be keenly watched, which is an important factor for the main reason that if there is a decline in ratings, Prometheus will throw in various twists to excite the audience. (You may read about potential twists below, but you are more than welcome to add your own.) When the groups are announced, you will also see at what time slot they are given (i.e. 5pm, 10am, etc.)

When writing your event thread, there is no minimum or maximum requirement in terms of post length or amount of posts to be eligible for your points. Go at your own pace.

“Drink me.” Everyone in the room is knocked out by a drink. They are aware that it will make them pass out. When they awake, all participants notice that there are little cuts in their forearms and they’re tasked with finding something within one of them (not necessarily meaning in their own body, willing them to cut into the competition.) It is a 50/50 chance the answer is purely metaphorical or if there is physically something planted in their arm. Your choice. | 400 points | The Wheel of Fortune

!!!All Levels are subject to one wild card named The Hierophant. The card is intentionally blank. The Sponsor creates the dare and the points amount up to 300 points.!!!

Twists.

As stated before, Prometheus will manipulate the escape room to drive more viewers in if they find it is needed. The following twists are possible:

Fire being started

Shaking of the set like an earthquake or a nuclear explosion

Gas filling the space

Loud music

Total blackness

Heat

Cold

Flies/Bees/Insects

Rain

Wind

A person touches something and it breaks immediately (small explosions from the special effects dept.)

A timer is randomly set off, counting down, but counting down to what? Something innocuous like a pre-recorded video message of Cora saying that fate only has the best intentions for them.

Suddenly really curious what her thoughts on the Empress Elizabeth and Catherine the Great were. If this ask doesn't "speak" to mun atm, please don't rush! Or if mun isn't comfortable delving into either, that's fine too. No biggie :)

Phew, okay, so Russian history isn’t nearly my area of expertise when it comes to history, but I tried to do a bit of preliminary research online, and hopefully this makes sense. If anyone more well-versed would like to correct me, please do! 

So, starting off with Empress Elizabeth. Snow could admire some aspects of her as a person, such as the fact that she never married and instead chose lovers as she pleased, and that she never executed anyone during her reign. And Snow did appreciate the growth of the University of Moscow and the Imperial Academy of Arts, as she is a being who values knowledge above all else because she has seen much cruelty born of ignorance in her long life. 

However, under Empress Elizabeth, cruel mutilation and disfigurement was still done to those who opposed her, or whom she thought opposed her. Her taxes for the war and her opulent palaces were a burden on the Russian people. And as far as the Seven Years’ War went, Snow disliked Austria, Prussia, and Russia equally, and all other empires that went to war over colonies and land. During the time, she still had little for Bavaria, even, given how cruelly she was treated by her own subjects, but she nonetheless tried the ease the suffering of civilians as much as possible. 

Now, regarding Catherine the Great. Again, Snow was glad to see another patron of the arts and medical advances, such as inoculation. But, Catherine also expanded the Russian Empire, robbing land from other nations, (the partitioning of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth particularly didn’t sit well with Snow), and rejected aspects of the Enlightenment because they threatened absolute monarchies. Some of the schools established during her reign, such as the Smolny Institute, were houses of propaganda (in Snow’s opinion). Catherine subsidized churches and emptied monasteries. She declared that Jews were foreigners and had little to no rights, and serfs were still at the mercy of their landowners. 

As the one-time wife of a Jew, and of a Lithuanian witch, needless to say, Snow wasn’t pleased.
