Hi hope you’re doing well! I just wanted to ask a question in regards to financial success and stability. What in our chart helps us find those things and how can we implement it into our lives? 🩷🌸

If I’m being honest my way of managing money in terms of spending isn’t the best but I’m trying to learn because I know with habits like mine I’ll be in situations where I don’t want to be like right now. I did secure an internship but due to travel and financial reasons I wasn’t able to commit to it and now I don’t have a job and I have responsibilities which require paying bills and loans so it’s tuff at the moment especially as a college student😭

I’m a hard worker and the career aspect of my life is usually where I do well compared to my love life lmao but I still wanna know how I can gain success and stability in my life cause I truly need it like others do, thank you💗

Hi! I’m sorry to hear about what you’re going through. There are a few things in your birth chart that show how you are with finances and success. Jupiter, Pluto, Saturn, Mars, the 2nd house, 8th house, 10th house, and the 11th house all deal with money and success.

Jupiter and Money:

When talking about the 8th house in regards to relationships, the first thing that we think of is sex, however the 8th house rules sex because it is all about any type of deeper intimacy in any committed connection. Our 7th house tells us how we relate to others and what type of connections we like to establish with others but the 8th house can tell more about what you need in order to nurture and establish a deeper connection with someone. Of course many other things in the chart are very telling of how you connect with others such as Moon or Venus, but in this post I'll focus on the the 8th house which is all about going past that one-on-one interaction (7th house) to really let the other person in, which is why you may or may not be comfortable with your 8th house energy. This house is very telling of the type of energy you need in order to build trust and strong binding and also how you behave with the people you trust

*Please note:

If you're using placidus and you find that you're in situation where for example you're a water ASC but your 8th house is ruled by water and not air just pay attention to the 7th house description of water asc and the 8th description of fire asc and so on. If your 7th and 8th house are ruled by the same sign for example Virgo, these descriptions still apply cause the following sign (Libra) will still occupy some of the 8th house but you could also relate to the earth 8th house description of air risings

Planets and the rest of the chart will give more nuance and layers to these energies

Earth risings really want to get to know someone on a really deep level due to water DSC. They don't necessarily overshare (they very much can), but they are the ones who can get through to others, they're the type to want to make small talk vulnerable or deep right away and you will notice this with how easy it is for them to get through to others. They are very good listeners and can easily make people feel loved and appreciated even through a casual interaction. They do this because they want to know who someone is deep down so when intimacy comes they feel free enough to show their wilder, adventurous or even childish side without being judged since they have fire 8th house. They want to be pampered back and feel a little "selfish" and free and dominate the situation or their partner doing so. I like to think of it as they charm people in (water 7th house) so they can be adored (fire 8th house) but not in a malicious way of course. The type of dynamic they seek with people they trust always involves playfulness, spontaneity and will definitely be out the door if you judge their personality or ego in some way. If they don't trust you they will be able to stir you up emotionally without showing you their real personality which can result in them leading people on a lot. This does not mean they are fake but since they are earth risings, they are used to keeping it together all the time so they want to be able to let loose during intimacy. Having prominent 2H/8H placements usually means money will always be an important topic for you, for good or bad - but usually you were raised in an environment where it was discussed a lot, you were aware of ur family's financial situation etc and it could have created traumas.

It can be about having parents that were irresponsible with money so now you're yourself extra careful with it, it can be about having stingy parents (so now you have issues w not spending a lot while at the same time feeling insecure if you don't have enough savings).

It can be about spending too much all the time because that's how you soothe urself (because it's a family pattern lol), it can be about always being in the position where you give money to others as a way to make them love you subconsciously (and u regret it all the time).

earlier in february, i quoted @liberationastro's tweet about the 8H and how it relates to dreaming — going over its connection to dream spellwork, prophetic dreams, etc.

i got several responses from my followers who are also 8H placements:

Venus + Ketu = a perfectionist, an artist, spiritual. Not really what you described. Ketu is not related to maya. Rahu is related to maya. A strong Ketu associated with Venus makes Venus obey, stopping it from materialism, making Venus go on the path of devotion to a religion/a person in a relationship. Ketu is the heart because it doesn’t have a brain, only listening to its body. Rahu I understand maybe because with Venus is full of materialism easy fast money but Ketu nah. I have Venus and Ketu in my 12th house and my Ketu is strong best believe I am nothing like you described. The whole chart needs to be examined plus divisional charts to know how someone can behave. One placement ? Let’s not go there. I also know someone with Rahu and Venus in the 12th house and he’s a healer working in the medical field and also spiritual. We understand each other. Rahu and Ketu do well in the dark/negatives houses 6th,8th, 12th because their nature changes to fight the obstacles such houses are creating in someone’s house to liberate them from their struggles. Rahu and Ketu are the army. 6th, 8th and 12th houses are the battlefield their prosper in.

Now for the nature of Venus, Venus is the commander in chief of the Asuras (demons). Venus is all about the finest things in life. Best behaviours too in society and the punishment of bad conduct. So this issue is definitely not about Venus. The thing is Rahu next to Venus, Rahu will imitate Venus qualities, display it but Rahu is the background energy, Rahu works with illusions, so next to a strong or weak Venus, Rahu becomes strong and might go crazy and go after everything it desires. Rahu is desires, obsessions, also detachment of materialism after it matures around the age of 42. Only a strong ketu can balances out rahu. Ketu is the light at the end of the dark empty tunnel after enlightenment happens thanks to spiritual work . Ketu is in the dark all the time until it does the work to see life through its senses and heart. Rahu is the light that goes crazy, the limelight that might disappear into unknown/dangerous places because it wants to experience everything because of insane desires. So in conclusion nothing is just all dark or just all light. Dark and light work together. Good and Evil. There is balance in this universe. Yin and Yong. Rahu and Ketu. The background energy makes us realise we all can be good and bad depending on a situation.

Society have conditioned us to just see things in black and white. Without telling us dark and light will always balance each other. Too much light will lead to the darkest times. For instance : celebrities being always in the spotlight and then going crazy when they’re alone, doing the most insane stuff. Too much darkness will lead to the brightest time. For instance : the black sheep of the family hated all his life from birth, going from trauma to trauma, yet being enough resilient to heal and thrive later in life.

venus, or shukra, being the teacher of the demons is much more an ignored fact than it should be. in the charts of tantriks / people who practice black magic to hurt others, venus is in low dignity with rahu. in the charts of known terrorists, dictators, murderers, serial killers etc venus is almost always in extremely weak dignity or extremely strong while being a malefic.

and i don't mean the 'venus in virgo' kind of weak; i mean the venus which comes into contact with the tamasic planets like mars and saturn, or with the demonly rahu and ketu and is also weak in the shadbala and digabala, or is a malefic and is very strong in the shadbala. edit: since i saw this getting popular, i'd like to emphasize that a malefic venus + strong shadbala + weak digbala + conjunct rahu is the worst case scenario, don't demonize yourself or anything 💀
