@louvemeanyway and I are having marital problems so I turned it into a shitty bucktommy ficlet and making it everyone's problem

"Tommy, what is this?" Buck interrogates, waving an iPad in Tommy's face.

Tommy squints from the light of the bright iPad blaring in his face and snatches the device from Buck. "What's what, Evan?"

"D-did you write this?"

Tommy lets out a sigh and reaches over onto the night stand for his reading glasses. The first thing he notices is the time. It's...2:35 AM? The next thing he notices is his that this is his iPad and this is his notes app.

"It's in my notes app, Evan. Obviously, I wrote it." Tommy deadpans

"Why would you write a fic about Chris cheating on Kyle with Anthony? I thought we were ChrisKyle shippers?"

"W-we are. I just...had an idea and needed to get it out of my system."

"Out of your system?!" Buck exclaims, grabbing the iPad. "In this scene, Chris is telling Anthony that Kyle isn't satisfying him anymore. Why would you say that?"

"It's just a story, Evan."

"No." Buck shakes his head. "This is more than a story."

Tommy watches as Buck gets off the bed and grabs his shoes. "What are you doing?"

"I'm going home. I can't lay next to a traitor."

Tommy sighs. "Are you breaking up with me over a fan fiction?"

Buck shrugs. "I don't even know who I'm dating right now!"

Buck moves into Tommy’s three-bedroom-two-bath-yard-big-enough-to-keep-a-dog duplex on their first Valentine’s day together as a reunited couple.

It’s not at all how they had planned to spend the day. 

In fact, Buck was supposed to move in the week before so that they would both be completely settled in by the time the day of love and romance rolled around. They had planned to celebrate the day with marathon sex, topped off with a pizza, wine and tiramisu night for dinner, followed by more sex. 

It was supposed to be a sex extravaganza. A sextravaganza! 

Tragically, however, Milton over at the 217 had sprained his leg and Tommy had had to pick up some extra shifts and since Buck still had ten more days on his lease and Tommy refused to let him move in all by his lonesome, they decided to push their plans to the weekend when they would now both be off-shift owing to Tommy’s updated schedule. 

However, no moving is ever done during the weekend. Largely because the baby gets colic and Jee Yun decides she cannot stand the crying and Buck bravely offers to take his extremely irritable niece for the night. 

Him and Tommy end up spending all weekend at tea parties and baking cookies and binge watching Barbie movies on YouTube. It’s not a bad way to spend their time off, but they don’t get anything done, that’s for sure. 

Although, the million and one pictures he has now gained of Tommy passed out on the couch with a princess tiara on his head and little Jee asleep on his chest are totally worth the hassle.

Evan had texted him when he got back to the loft a few hours ago, told him that he was crashing after his shift and to let himself in because even though he has a key now, it still feels a little weird to let himself into a space that isn’t his. So when he unlocks the door, he knows Evan’s going to be asleep, and there’s an undercurrent of want thrumming through his entire body because of it.
