The 100 knew how to do a redemption arc.
Throughout its seven-season run on The CW, post-apocalyptic sci-fi drama repeatedly doubled down on one of its many thought-provoking mantras: there are no good guys. The “good guys” often did terrible things in the name of survival, and the “bad guys” were rarely through-and-through evil (although they could be “cockroaches”).
Timed to the recent 10-year anniversary of the series premiere, we chatted with Richard Harmon, Lindsey Morgan, and Henry Ian Cusick about how they came to join the show, the extent to which Harmon and Cusick saw their characters as villains during the first season, and why they think The 100 has stuck around in the sci-fi genre.
Murphy wasn’t originally Murphy: he was “John #1,” and he wasn’t meant to live past the show’s second episode. Harmon recalled the process of first auditioning for the show: “I originally auditioned for the role of Bellamy, beautifully played by Bob Morley,” he said. “I remember auditioning for that and thinking, ‘There’s no way in hell I’m ever going to get this role.’ Lo and behold, I did not.” Weeks later, he got an audition for the roles of “John #1” and “John #2,” and after feeling confident that he’d booked it, he learned that he had. He was John #1.
Harmon said that despite his character’s predetermined Episode 2 death, he approached the first episode determined to do something different and have fun with the role. Thankfully, showrunner Jason Rothenberg was watching. “I guess he noticed that, liked what I was doing, and expanded the role in some rewrites during the shooting of the Pilot,” Harmon said, adding that half of what Murphy said in the aired Pilot wasn’t there in the original script. “When it got picked up to series, he emailed me personally—which was kind of a shocking thing as not a lead, to get an email from the creator of the show. He said, ‘I really liked what you did, how would you feel about not dying in the second episode? Could you stick around for the whole first season? Your last name will be Murphy, people will call you Murphy, and what do you think?’” And so went the story of how he booked “John #1”… and how “John #1” became John Murphy.

First appearing in the show’s second episode rather than in the Pilot, Morgan wound up on The 100 through a whirlwind of correct timing and fate. She’d been waiting to hear whether she’d booked a role on Chicago P.D. when she auditioned for the part of Raven on Tuesday, chemistry-read with Thomas McDonnell [played Finn Collins] on Thursday, and was on a plane headed to Vancouver by Sunday. She later found out she wouldn’t have gotten the Chicago P.D. role. “It’s crazy to look back and imagine it happening any other way,” she said.
Similarly to Harmon’s “John #1,” Morgan’s Raven wasn’t meant to be a The 100 mainstay. Originally, Morgan said, Raven was meant to die after just five episodes—a shock, when one considers how integral the quick-thinking mechanic and tech genius became to the plot of the show. “I was on pins and needles, waiting to receive my death notice with each passing script,” Morgan said. After the Season 1 finale, Rothenberg made the offer to Morgan to stick around for Season 2. She’d been up for a role on a different show at that time. If she’d gotten it, Raven would’ve died from the gunshot wound dealt her by Murphy. Obviously, Raven survived. “The rest was history,” Morgan said. “As we all know, nothing can kill Raven Reyes.”

For his part, Cusick mentioned that it was a sense of longing for Lost that led him to The 100. “It was Pilot season, and I had just finished something, and I was reading a bunch of Pilots,” he remembered. “The 100 turned up, and I thought it was very similar in tone to Lost, which I was missing. I read that and I said to my agent, ‘That’s a cool Pilot.’ I ended up having a meeting with [showrunner] Jason Rothenberg, and we had a chat, and he offered it to me.”
While he did almost float Clarke’s mother, Dr. Abby Griffin (Paige Turco}, in the Pilot, Cusick disagrees with the label of Kane as a villain and passionately defends him. Even in the show’s early days, he says he just viewed Kane as “more of a d**k.” Cusick recounts several things his character was accused of doing but never actually did—such as attempting to kill Jaha (Isaiah Washington)—and maintains that rather than being villainous, Kane was simply a stickler for the rules. “Other people were talking about him and badmouthing him, but he was just a man who was trying to save the human race,” Cusick said. “He went about it in a rather authoritarian, draconian way. He was very strict. And then when he arrived on Earth, he went ‘Oh, humanity is still around.’ Then he could go back to being who he really was. That’s my opinion.”
Whether viewers considered him a villain or a d**k, Kane undoubtedly softened up. His kindness and diplomacy helped establish peace with the grounders as he formed a friendship with Indra (Adina Porter), he and Abby fell in love, and he gradually became a father figure to the delinquents—especially Bellamy Blake (Bob Morley). “I really took to Bob quite quickly,” Cusick remembered. “We would joke around a lot. I would call him my ‘idiot son’ and stuff like that,” he said with a laugh. “We kind of cultivated that relationship, I thought, that we were like father and son. We enjoyed each other’s company, so that was easy to play.”

Harmon, on the other hand, readily admitted he played Murphy as a villain in Season 1—so much so that he’d taken inspiration for Murphy and Bellamy’s relationship from Biblical literature. “I based [Murphy] loosely off of Lucifer, actually,” he said. “Bellamy was God, for this group, and I’m his right-hand favorite angel, but demon, really. Eventually I try to take too much power, just like Lucifer does in the Bible, and God smites me down. That’s when I get thrown out to the grounders in the wild and come back way later, with the sickness.”
When the show was picked up for a second season, Harmon and Rothenberg had another chat. “At the end of Season 1, Jason said, ‘Will you stick around for the long haul now going forward to Season 2?’” Harmon said. “And I was like, ‘Of course, I would love to, but how are you going to do that?’” Rothenberg, Harmon remembered, wanted him to get the audience on Murphy’s side. Harmon was up for the challenge, as long as he was given material to convince the audience that there was a good reason behind Murphy’s notable not-niceness. “Eventually, as the seasons progressed and the fans responded favorably to Murphy, all of my cuts were a good angle, and I was a little more tanned with dirt, and I was like, ‘I think they’re trying to, maybe, make me hot,” Harmon laughed. “I don’t think at that point in my career anyone had ever tried to make me attractive on-screen before. That was nice. That felt good.”
Raven Reyes was about as far from a villain as one could get, even though she, like every character, had to make incredibly difficult choices. Morgan has fond memories especially of Season 2, and portraying Raven’s journey with losing the use of her leg. “As an able-bodied actor, I felt a deep responsibility and honor towards playing a character with disabilities as accurately as I could,” she said. “I wanted to bring justice, nuance, complexity, and the best accuracy to her journey as I could, and hopefully share and showcase her truth, as well as the strength people with disabilities exhibit daily.”
Morgan, too, has fond memories of filming in the Vancouver wilderness. While filming with Cusick and the “adult” cast on the Ark put her inside in the warm studio (and closer to the snacks), she enjoyed being outside in the forest… and sneaking in an on-set nap when an opportunity presented itself. “I can, and will, nap anywhere,” she recalled. “Thomas [McDonnell] almost stepped on my head once, because I was napping on the floor of our cast tent. I blended into the ground.”

Aside from his bond with Bellamy Blake, Kane’s other major connection on The 100 was his romance with Dr. Abby Griffin. Surprisingly, Cusick hadn’t known the writers intended to take the characters in that direction. “I remember Paige [Turco] saying to me, ‘I think they’re trying to get us together,’ and I was thinking, ‘No, that’s never going to happen. We need to be combative. That’s where the drama is,’” he said. In the end, Kane and Abby had a heartwarming love that lasted several seasons. Cusick thinks that not being told from the start about the romance angle only improved his performance. “The actors had no clue that was going to happen, so we were just playing our motivations, and our roles, and what we thought was right,” he said. “There was no hint of any flirtation or anything like that between the characters, so that’s when it happened. Maybe the audience saw it, I don’t know, but it was certainly a surprise to me.”
Unfortunately, Kane and Abby didn’t have the happy ending that many might’ve hoped for. Cusick departed the show in its sixth season, and Turco’s character was killed off in the Season 6 finale. While The 100 fans know all about heartbreak, it might add an extra layer of sadness to know that originally, Kane and Abby had been intended to have a more hopeful story. “My relationship with Abby was good, and people wanted us to get together,” Cusick reflected. “I think that would’ve happened, had I not left. I know that Jason [Rothenberg] said he wanted that to happen—he wanted us to get married, which would’ve been interesting.”
Cusick also directed the eleventh episode of Season 4, “The Other Side,” and the tenth episode of Season 5, “The Warriors Will.” When he thinks back on those experiences, he does so with appreciation for the show’s crew including director of photography Michael Blundell, and gratitude to Jason Rothenberg, director Dean White, and the cast. “Just in general, I never really got a chance to say this: I wanted to say thank you,” he said. “When I meet everyone at cons, I’m thinking about how we all went through this together. We all have relationships that are unique, because we went through that show. I’m always amazed when we meet up at cons by how fun they all are, and how nice it is to see them again.”

On the subject of conventions, Harmon mentioned that he and Morley used to take it as a badge of honor when fans would tell them that they hated Murphy and Bellamy. Twitter death threats, too, Harmon learned to take in stride. “It got a little hectic at times, for sure,” he remembered. “If people wanted to hate you so much, I’m so grateful for that. That just means we did our job well.” Harmon also mentioned that he wished he’d gotten to keep Murphy’s jacket from Season 1. Unfortunately, he doesn’t know what happened to it. Morgan, on the other hand, has held onto a few of Raven’s iconic items—including her trademark red jacket and knee brace. “I joked that I was going to make a plaster cast out of my body and display them in my house,” she said. “I definitely didn’t do that, but I have them in a safe place.”
As for The 100’s staying power, Harmon, Morgan, and Cusick all pointed out its continued interrogation of what it means to be human, especially in heightened, life-or-death situations. While the show was airing, Harmon said he called it the “biggest show you’ve never heard of.” At this point, he no longer thinks that description is true—people have heard of it.
“It was cool to be on the biggest show you’ve never heard of, because people would be like, ‘What show?’ and then all of a sudden there’d be five people who’d go, ‘The 100? Yes!’” he remembered. “People who watched it fell in love with it. Or were livid with it. Either way.”

secrets out. bellamy blake x reader
summary 🛁: alie gets under the skin of everyone, even the ones who seem the most shut off
warning/s 🚽: swearing, depression, talks of miscarriage, and gif not mine, angst
slater’s note 🪞: season three truly was the best season. this is... dramatic? it has potential but i gave up.
Tumblr media
it was your turn.
alie crossed all of them off like a list. one by one, mind fucking them until they couldn’t handle it.
mind manipulation, you knew all about it and you were certain that it wasn’t something you could be so easily affected by. you had met a lot of people, had a lot of boyfriends, and friends, and even your own parents who enjoyed getting into your head with simple words that made you feel guilty or sick to your stomach.
you were sure she couldn’t get into yours.
“hello, sweetheart,” raven quirked her head, already analyzing you and your current mood. “see they finally brought in the big guns.”
you humph in amusement with lips slightly twitching upward as you made your way to one of the boxes that sat close to raven. you were hoping to rest, put your mind to ease as you sat before her, not expecting much to come from her mouth since you were a closed book.
clarke and jasper were practically left open and begging to be read as they sized up to raven with their emotions still filling their eyes to the brim. they were easy targets, easy to tear down, and easy to extract a fit from.
and although bellamy seemed just as shut off as you, he really wasn’t. bellamy had so many problems shoved in the back of his mind that they begun to pile and overflow. and with anger issues compiled from unsettled issues in his past; he was just as much as an easy target as they were.
everyone hits rock bottom, but not all get to face the humiliation of others also realizing and coming to spit in your face.. a plan alie was hoping to put in motion, she just had to bait you first.
“you’ve always been the smart one,” she slightly twisted her head, raven’s eyes dark and filled with a conscious that wasn’t her own. “always thought for the better of others.. never yourself,” she shook her head and you could tell by the way her eyes slightly squinted she had something up her sleeve.
you were intrigued.
“so.. selfless and yet you’re always blamed for every problem that comes up. why do you let that happen, y/n?”
you tilted your head to the side, not exactly finding truth in the last of her words, you had never felt blamed, and if anyone was a scape goat, it’d be murphy. but you still found yourself listening, eating up the lie like a story.
“which is why i’m confused as to.. why you took the chip..” her face screwed up and at the sudden words you inhaled sharply knowing very well everyone heard her words just as you did. “i mean, y/n, as much as a smart decision that was, it was a rather selfish thing of you to do, don’t you think?”
you kept your mouth shut, knowing this wasn’t the last of her words. she had a plan of some kind, she was still trying to get into your head and she felt so close by the way she had just watched you adjust yourself in the slightest way possible.
“like i said before,” you mumbled, “your chip didn’t work.”
“that’s too bad, isn’t it?” she whispered, almost taunting you, “whatever’s hurting you must be something real bad with how brave and strong you are, or—excuse me, seem to be.”
“someone should go in there,” jasper suddenly stood from his spot at the door, listening in, his mouth beginning to grow dry as he stood up anxiously, looking between bellamy and the rest of your friends listening with just as slack and uncomfortable expressions; taken aback.
he made a move to go in but bellamy quickly stopped him, “just wait.”
“bellamy-”
“but then again, the strongest of us always seem to carry the most. you would know wouldn’t you?”
your mouth twitched from frowning deeper as you thought of all the past torment, from the moment you were born to the moment you landed on the ground.
“shall we talk about why you took the chip?”
“we can talk about whatever you want,” you leaned forward with your elbows on your knees.
this couldn’t get any worse than it already was.
“i want you to choose. bellamy or mount weather?”
you swallowed harshly, but your voice was still stern as you stared at her with narrowed eyes, “neither,” you leaned forward, thinking of the many flaws to weaknesses that centered in your heart just with the those topics. “i want to talk about you, raven, only you.”
“deflecting the question won’t work, y/n,” she almost glared at you, “you said we could talk about what i wanted and now i made a decision; i want to talk about what happened in mount weather after you got shot.”
your face dropped and you didn’t even try to hide it, remembering exactly what she was talking about and the room suddenly felt hot and you wanted to leave but you felt completely sucked in like she was a vacuum, giving you no choice but to get swallowed.
“you were pregnant, right?” raven’s head dipped to the side, already knowing she had gotten to you despite your face no longer showing a sign of distress. “with a little girl?”
jasper’s gaze, as well as everyone else’s, landed on the side of bellamy’s jaw, eyes wide, holding their breath, waiting for him to step in, to stop it, do anything but freeze up like a stick, struck dumb with shock.. and hurt and a pain he couldn’t distinguish, something he had never felt before to the point he didn’t even know if it was all real.
raven tsk’d, eyes landing on her lap, “such a shame really.” you could see the sick smile that began to climb up her cheeks, making you want to scream, shout, anything to get rid of the pain clawing at your chest. “does bellamy know?” she looks up, as if wanting to really know, as if she didn’t already. “i mean he is the father after all, you think he’d deserve to know.”
he knew now.
“bellamy, do something,” clarke gaped at him, her hand tugging at his arm, begging him to snap out of the trance he was in. “bellamy, you need to go in there. you need to get her out of there."
“he held you... thinking you'd die, completely unaware of the baby inside that really took the bullet," raven inhaled, sighing, her head shaking. "that really is sad, i don't know how you didn't end it-"
you got up and she smiled, anticipating this moment. but you don't do what she wished you'd do. you stood calmly, staring deep into her hazel pupils, amusement snowing around, almost encouraging you to inflict pain on her.
"you're not real," your voice is low and quiet, "you can't effect me. you promote a false devotion and promise a final happiness and safety from pain, but you're flawed and can't even bring the weak of us down."
your eyes dart back and forth in search of some emotion in her eyes, but it seems she goes blank and shuts down like a computer until her jaw tips up, pulling closer to your face, whispering back, "you think that you're so brave, y/n. you think that you're some courageous soldier just because of the luck you had of showing up in the right place at the right time," you feel a hand grip your bicep while the other wrapped around your mid section, slowly pulling you away from the words that ran out of her mouth fast, “but you're wrong, deep down you're coward just like all your friends and my point is only further proven when you took the chip, because admit it y/n, you're scared, you're scared-"
you felt like you had been ripped from a different world once bellamy had spun you around to face him. your body shook internally as realization overcame you of what had all been revealed within that room. bellamy looked scattered as he stared into your eyes with his own wide ones. he didn't look himself; he looked worried and maybe even sad.
very sad.
"y/n, sit down for me, please," he grasped your arms lightly, pulling you down on one of the chair slowly and gently, afraid you'd break under his touch. he was completely disoriented and he wasn't even sure if what was all happening was real.
you stayed blank in the mind, feeling completely drained and distraught to the thought of what was running around in his head right now. it hurt that he now knew everything.
"talk to me," he slowly kneeled before you, "what—baby, what happened to you?"
you inhaled sharply, the feeling of tears beginning to form in the crest of your eyes as you begun to feel overwhelmed—your chest tightened and it seemed like such a strain on your lungs when you tried to breathe, "bellamy, a lot happened in... mount weather that i can't even begin to explain. i'm not even sure what was real and what wasn't."
"i was in a dark spot," it was hard to force out and you could barely look him in the eye with the intensity he kept within his eyes. his heart hurt for you and he couldn't even begin to think straight with all that was revealed with raven. "i can't think straight half the time, bellamy and after everyone was killed at mount weather.. and i was shot... i didn't feel like the same person anymore.. nothing felt right..."
you choked. your voice caught in the back of your throat as you attempted to explain yourself but he stopped you, shushing your voice as your tears begun to slowly fall and paint your cheeks. he pulled you close by the back of your neck, stroking his thumb against your scarred skin while the other wrapped around your waist, pulling you to him and his warmth. he held you tightly and so hard, that his ribs hurt but he didn't care because he was afraid that you'd slip from his grip, like you had before.
but you stayed and you held him just as tight, allowing yourself to sink, because this was the only thing that truly felt right.

Silent bloom
Parings: Finn Collins/reader Bellamy Blake/reader
Warnings: Mentions of blood
Chapter: 1.13
Distance was all that mattered. You run through the forest, leaves and branches reaching out to grab you, tearing at your skin and clothes. You weren’t stopping for anything, and sure as hell weren’t going to stop to look behind.
Seeing the night sky was the only assurance that you were still alive, but despite that, there was no help for the sick feeling inside your stomach. The mud and grit had become enmeshed with raw pink flesh and was spotted with blood. You had no idea where you were heading.
Looking over the gates at camp, you spotted some white flowers growing. They were beautiful and pure. You had picked a few and decided to place them on Wells' grave. You weren’t overly close to him when he was alive, but you still felt guilty for not being able to save him that night. If you had gone looking for him sooner, or screamed for help, he might have had a chance to survive. Taking care of his grave was your way of apologising. Octavia had offered to go with you, but you insisted on being alone.
As you made your way back towards the gates of camp, a rustling noise from behind caught your attention. You turned to see two men in hazmat suits crouching close by. They were watching your campmates through binoculars. Gulping down, you slowly started to back away, hoping they wouldn’t notice. But they did.
You tumbled over a branch that caused you to land on the ground with a thump and before you had the chance to move again, men in hazmat suits grabbed you. Your kicks and screams did nothing to aid your escape. You weren’t strong enough to fight them off. The feeling of something sharp pricking at your neck made you scream out for help weakly as the dizziness caused your vision to start blurring.
Suddenly, the man let go and he fell to the ground. The second body quickly hit the ground after. You tried to crawl away from them, not being strong enough to stand, but you didn’t make it far. An older looking woman walked forward and glanced down at you. Her face was covered in black kohl, and she was wearing tribal clothes that were decorated with fresh blood. She was a grounder, and she wasn’t alone.
"It’s not safe out here."
You turn around to see Bellamy standing behind you, with an unamused expression on his face. Not that you judged him. He had almost died twice in the last few hours.
"It’s not safe anywhere," you pointed out.
Clarke and Finn returned with grounders not far behind. Monty was still missing. Murphy had terrorised the camp, and now Raven was possibly dying, and Connor was dead.
"Your shift is over. You should get some rest." With a sigh, you accepted Bellamy’s hand, as he helped you down from the ledge you were standing on. You couldn’t help but stare. Even in the night, you could see the bruises around Bellamy’s neck. Without thinking, you reached out and ran your fingers across the dark mark. He flinched only for a moment before leaning into your touch. His gaze fell from your face down to your bandaged thigh, "Does it hurt?"
"No... Well yeah, but it’s getting better." You stepped back from him, "How is your neck?"
"Never better." You snorted at the bluntness of his answer. Something else was playing on his mind. Bellamy tensed again before he spoke. "Octavia told me about you and Finn arguing, a-"
"It won’t happen again. We have bigger issues to focus on."
"I was going to ask if you were okay." You didn’t know what to say. It had never occurred to you that Bellamy would have cared, especially when grounders could attack at any moment. "O never went into detail, but she said it got nasty."
"I would never have taken Bellamy Blake for a gossip," you teased.
Bellamy smirked at your comment, "you're one of the best gunners we’ve got Daisy, but you are useless if you're distracted. I don’t want you to miss a kill shot because of a distraction."
He was right, the argument was a distraction. You only cared deeply about a few people, and in the blink of an eye, you had lost Monty and Finn. You let out a deep sigh, "there’s nothing to tell... how far away do you think the grounders are?"
Bellamy clenched his jaw. You assumed he wasn’t happy that you were avoiding the question, but this wasn’t the time to open those wounds. "They won’t be far," he must have sensed you were unconvinced because he probed you some more. "You’ve been staring outside these gates for hours without flinching. What’s going on?"
"I just... I don’t get it. They only followed Clarke and Finn so far, then they stopped. I’m just trying to figure out why."
"To get reinforcements."
"Maybe," you paused before continuing. "From what we know, grounders don’t give up without a fight. They aren’t afraid of dying. Hell, the bomb at the bridge didn’t stop them. I think something else made them turn back."
"I really hope you're wrong."
You opened your eyes to the noise of yelling around you. It had all just been a bad dream. Groaning, you tried to sit up and realised you couldn’t. You had been chained to the bed.
"I’m glad kom see yu laik awake skai raunon."
You turn your head and see the grounder from the forest standing by the doorway. "I... I’m sorry, I don’t understand."
A younger looking girl stepped forward, and translated. "She’s glad to see you are awake."
For what reason would a grounder want you awake? You suddenly noticed the chains attached to your wrists. The memory of Murphy telling you what the grounders did to him played on your mind. You instantly curled your fingers into the palm of your hands.
"Why?" You were embarrassed by the weakness in your own voice.
"We saved you."
You looked between the young girl and the older woman who hadn’t taken her eyes off you. It was true they were probably still alive, "thank you."
"Mochof," the older grounder said before placing a bucket of water down next to you. "Mochof is thank you in our language. My name is Zelda, and this is Ada."
"I’m Daisy." You eyed Zelda suspiciously as she poured a powder into the water before offering the bucket to you. "What did you just put in it?"
"It has healing properties. It will pull any poison from your wounds out."
"Why would you waste your medicine on me?"
Ada took the bucket from Zelda and placed it in front of you, "because we want peace."
You accepted the ragged looking clothes from the young girl and began washing your neck, before moving to your ankles. There was no point in refusing, you had no weapon and physically wouldn’t be able to fight them off with restricted movement. The stinging sensation in your wounds was unlike anything you’d ever experienced before. Soon after, an overwhelming heaviness takes over you.
You opened your eyes again to find you were still in the same hut as before, except now it was only lit by a small flame that was next to the chair Ada was sleeping in. You wonder how long you’ve been asleep. The night's cool air made goosebumps appear on your skin, which caused you to notice your lack of clothes. Your trousers were gone.
"I cut them off to change your wound."
Her voice took you by surprise, as you hadn’t realized she was awake. You looked at Ada and noticed she now had war paint on her face that matched Zelda’s. "Who was screaming earlier?"
"They were just reapers."
You tried to rack your brain for any clues about them, but your mind went blank. "What are reapers?"
"Men who are no longer men." Ada stood up and walked towards the ‘bed’ you were still chained to, "You have an interesting collection of scars, Daisy."
You scoffed at the comment, "so I’ve heard."
"Did you get them in battle?"
As Ada moved in the dimly lit room, you noticed the three large scars on her left shoulder. They looked deep and raw. "No, most of them were caused by accidents. How did you get yours?"
"A wild animal," she paused for a minute before continuing. "I have water and food to share if you’d like some."
It amazed you the way you had been treated by the two grounders, considering the stories you had heard. Her offer reminded you of the night you had your wristband removed so you could give Charlotte more food. The memory caused a lump to form in the back of your throat. "Only if you have enough to share."
After eating in silence, Ada offered to look at the rest of your wounds to make sure they weren’t infected. You couldn’t decide if she was genuinely kind or trying to lure you into a false sense of security, regardless you accepted her offer.
As Ada cleaned a couple of scratches on the back of your neck, you cleared your throat. "So... what are you and Zelda planning on doing with me? I’m guessing I won’t be free to walk any time I want."
It surprised you when Ada let out a small laugh, "That is the plan."
"Now I’m really confused. You kidnapped me to clean me up, feed me, then let me leave?"
"We saved, not kidnapped," you helped your chained wrists up. "We aren’t stupid. You could have woken up and tried to kill us."
"Good point, but I still don’t understand why. Our people are at war."
Ada sighed before rummaging around in a different part of the room. "We have a common enemy, the mountain men."
"The men in hazmat suits?" She nodded, and it started to make sense. "What are they doing?"
"For a long time, people have been going missing. Many of us believe if we work together we can stop them."
Her comment surprised you, "Does your commander think so?"
"Not yet, but if your people understand we aren’t savages, then maybe they will be willing to fight with us."
You couldn't help but laugh, not because the situation was funny, but because two grounders had saved you from mountain men, then chained you to a bed, but still showed you nothing but kindness. And now they want to use you to help end a war. "How many of your people think this?"
"Enough of them. Do you think your people would do the same?"
You knew Octavia would be accepting of grounders wanting peace. Finn and Clarke would be the same. The problem would be convincing the rest of the delinquents, but you were sure Bellamy would convince them once you explained. God, you hoped you got the chance to see them all again. You let out a deep sigh. The last thing you wanted to do was lie. "I hope they will. They might not listen to me, but I know somebody they would blindly follow."
"I’m going to find Zelda. I brought you this in case you get a cold."
"Thank you," you called after her before throwing the blanket over your legs.
After she left, you laid back down as questions kept swirling around in your head, but you’d have time to ask them in the morning. The last thought you had before falling back asleep was if Monty had been taken by grounders, or mountain men.
The door to the hut suddenly burst open and a blood-soaked Ada entered. It had been at least a couple of days since you last saw her. Luckily, she had left enough food and water for you, as well as loosening your chains slightly.
"What happened?" Ada said nothing but unchained you before throwing clothes down beside you, "Are you hurt?"
"Hurry and put them on."
As you pulled your new trousers on, you froze when a gunshot went off in the distance. You turned to face Ada, who was staring emotionless outside the open door. You leaned closer to her and whispered, "What’s going on?"
"Skaikru didn’t want peace. I can’t help you anymore."
"Wait?" You said it a little too loudly as Ada made her way to the door, causing her to turn and frown. "You need to tell me what happened. I can still talk to-"
"It’s too late," she snarled. "Zelda is dead. The war has already begun. Jus drein jus daun, blood must have blood."
You stared at her not knowing what to say. You finished getting dressed in an awkward silence as Ada kept guard. The last few days had felt like a dream you couldn’t wake up from. At any moment, you’d wake up in camp and the dream would become nothing but a distant memory.
"You will need this," Ada handed you a blade. "Be careful, the poison the mouton men gave you can last for days. Mebi oso na hit choda op nodotaim Daisy kom Skaikru."
"I hope we meet again."
Days of not walking properly had taken their toll on your body as you kept stumbling while walking up the steep hill. You ducked down low when you heard voices getting closer. Crawling closer to get a better look, you froze when multiple gunshots fired close by.
You stayed in the same spot until you heard the familiar voice of Clarke. You slowly struggled to your feet and began walking to the top. The thought of yelling did occur to you, but you were dressed like a grounder, and would be alerting god knows who to your location. The pain radiating through your body made you want to give up, but you needed to push forward. You needed to know if your friends were safe. Finally, a head of blonde hair came into view, along with thick dark hair. A wave of relief washed over you knowing that Bellamy was safe.
You thought it was strange that neither of them were moving forward as you stumbled towards them. Clarke placed a hand over her mouth and spun to face the other way, the same time you fell to your knees. "Daisy!"
She rushed over towards you, while Bellamy stood stunned for a moment. He quickly snapped out of it. Clarke moved to the side as Bellamy knelt down in front of you. He brushed strands of hair out of your face, "I thought you were dead."
"Ditto," the expression on Bellamy’s face worried you. "So what have I missed Blake?"
Bellamy held the same worried expression as you got back to your feet and walked towards where he stood a moment ago. Nothing could have ever prepared you to see a pile of dead bodies. The sight made you feel sick. Finn and Murphy came into view. Both of them noticed you at the same time. Murphy shook his head as Finn stepped towards you with an almost insane look on his face.
You stumbled backwards and a pair of hands caught you before you fell. Bellamy held onto you tightly as you backed away from the scene in front of you.
Finn suddenly appeared directly in front of you, saying, "I found you.”

Bellamy Blake x Reader
Tumblr media
Location: The Dropship
Summary: After leaving the camp with Clarke, Jasper, Octavia, Monty, and Fin in attempt at getting to the mountains you make the mistake of following Octavia into the fresh water you find along the way. After Octavia is attacked by a creature in the water she is saved by Jasper. You all think you're safe but, the creature comes back for more and takes you this time instead, leaving you injured when the group finally saves you. However, Bellamy isn't too happy to see that both his sister and his girlfriend come back to camp wounded.
Warnings: ⚠️ language, kind of a make-out session/a little smutty, blood, being attacked by a creature, injuries, mentions of drowning/drowning like scenes, overprotective! and jealous! Bellamy(but hey who doesn't like that 😉)
Pairing(s): Bellamy Blake x Reader some Fin x Reader if you squint.
Words: 2,292
A/n: For this imagine the story has been altered a little bit. And I apologize if somethings wrong with the scene, I just started watching the 100 so I apologize in advance if i anything seems off or wrong.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Your POV:
"Are you sure we're going the right way, Clarke?" You groaned out as you stepped over yet another large tree root. You had been walking for hours and your body was tired. All you wanted was to sit down and rest for just a minute.
"Yes, I'm sure." She paused, taking in a deep breath as she looked around at the woods. "I at least think we are."
"Maybe we should go back to ca-"
"Hey, guys! Check this out!" You were interrupted by a sudden shout, turning your head in the direction of the shout you sped up your pace until you moved into a run. Your e/c eyes widened at the sight, allowing them to dance across the crystal still water that laid in front of you.  A wide grin tugged at your lips as you turned to look at Octavia, giving her that same mischievous smirk that she was giving you.
"You thinking what I'm thinking?" She laughed, her eyes darting back out to the still water.
"Hell yeah!" You shouted, pumping your fist into the air before starting to take off your jeans as you watched Octavia begin to break the still water, creating ripples the further she walked in.
"Man, I love earth" you heard Jasper mumble behind you. You rolled your eyes at his comment knowing he was watching you and Octavia strip of your clothes. With that same smirk you followed Octavia into the water, sighing at the cold sensation that wrapped around your body the deeper you went. However, you only made it waist deep in the water when the group behind you began shouting.
"Get out of the water!"
"Get out of the water now you guys!" Your eyes widened at the way the water moved. Fast ripples and waves moved towards you and Octavia at a lightning fast speed. You turned on your feet and moved out of the water as fast as you could, slipping and sliding on the wet rocks beneath your feet as the water restricted your movements. The rest of the group were up on the rocks, shouting and reaching their hands out towards you and Octavia. You managed to get closer to the rocks to grab Fins hand, who pulled you out of the water and onto land unharmed. Without a minute of rest you turned around quickly, screaming out your bestfriends name in fear.
"Octavia!" You cried, letting go of Fins arm as you fell to the ground near the edge of the rock you were standing on. Your eyes landed on Octavia just as the creature took her under the water, your eyes glazing over with tears instantly.
"Octavia! No!" You continued to cry out for her, your eyes searching the deep river for any signs of her. Just as soon as everyone thought she was gone, she broke the surface again and dragged around in circles, screaming for help.
"Quick! Help me distract it. Maybe it will let her go." Clarke shouted, pushing a large boulder into the water with the help of Fin. Just as she thought, the creature let go of Octavia and rushed to the splash that was created by the giant rock. Jasper ran to the waters surface, jumping in and pulling her out of the water and onto land safely.
"Octavia! Your leg." Clarke mumbled, pointing to the smaller wound on her upper thigh. I stayed sitting on the cold wet rock, watching the group from a distance as they checked on her wound. I was too busy focusing on slowing my breathing that I didn't notice the creature was coming back until something grabbed my ankle. A sharp, loud scream left my throat as I was dragged back into the freezing cold water. As I went under, I inhaled some of the river water, coughing it back up and gasping for air as I surfaced.
"Y/n!" The group shouted, rushing to the edge of the rock.
"Y/n! Hold on! Quick, Somebody help her!" I could hear Octavia's terrified shouts from the shore as the creature dragged me around the water. However, everyone was frozen In place and too shocked to do anything. Another sharp scream left my throat as sharp teeth sank into my waist and left arm, blood staining the water red as it leaked from my body and into the river.
"S-Somebody... h-help me!" I coughed out, reaching my right hand out of the water as if someone would grab it and help pull me out. By this time I had inhaled too much water and was becoming dizzy from the lack of oxygen. As spots started clouding my vision everything stopped, the creature released me from its hold and suddenly I was floating, kicking myself up above the waters surface to try and inhale what oxygen I could. My body grew tired the more I kicked, pain shooting up my left side with each thrust as i kicked myself closer to the shore. My head started to go under again, my breathing turning into desperate gasps.
"It's alright, I got you now." Fins hands wrapped around my arm, pulling me out of the water and back onto the shore. He pressed me against his chest as I coughed up more water onto the rocks, groaning at the pain that throbbed on my left side. He gently put me down on the ground, rolling me onto my side to let the water fall from my mouth.
"Oh god.. Y/n! Are you okay?!" Octavia shouted, her eyes glossing over as she looked at the deep gash on my waist.
"I-I'm alright..-" I paused to cough, wincing at the pain in my side. "I think anyway" I forced out a laugh, soon followed by another short coughing fit.
"Let's get you two back to camp, those injuries are bad." Clarke said, the others all nodding in agreement as they crowded around me.
"Wait you guys.." Jaspers eyes widened, his lip quivering slightly. It's like he was frozen with fear, even greater fear than what we just went through.
"What Jasper? We don't have time to wait." Clarke lectured, per usual for her. There was a rather long pause as we all waited for Jasper to speak up again. And when he finally did the groups eyes widened in fear, swallowing the lumps in their throats as he uttered those five words.
"Bellamy's going to kill us."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Someone get me some medical supplies!" Clarke shouted as we made it into the clearing of the camp. All eye turned to look at us, hushed gasps and whispered filling the clearing as Jasper helped Octavia sit down on a log and while Fin placed me on the floor next to her, helping me lean back against the log for support. Bellamy and Murphy were in the back of the large crowd that had gathered around. They shared a look, Bellamy's jaw flexing as he pushed forward through the crowd, Murphy following quickly behind.
"What the hell happened here?" That voice. That stern, deep, husky voice you knew all to well sounded above all the commotion. You raised your head slightly, giving Bellamy a tired smile as Fin adjusted you once more for Clarke to be able to work her magic. Murphy stood next to Bellamy, the two giving each other a worried yet curious stare as their eyes landed on my wounds.
"Ow! Clarke that stings!" I hissed out, jerking backward slightly as she applied some ointment to the wound. Bellamy walked up to Octavia first, sending Fin and Clarke a glare as they ignored his protests and questions. But, I didn't fail to see that stern glare he sent their way as he squatted down next to his sister. He was always overprotective of me and his sister but, when it came to me it was a whole new level of overprotective. I was used to it by now but, it still sent butterflies to my stomach knowing he still felt and acted the same way as when we first met.
"I'm sorry, Y/n. But, we need to clean the wound, it could get infected." You could hear Bellamy and Octavia mumbling at the other end of the log. Bellamy's jaw tightened in anger and worry the more he heard your painful moans. He hated seeing you hurt in anyway so, you can imagine the shock he had when he saw you entering the camp with a bloody gash on your waist and a rather large scratch on your left arm. He wasn't there to protect you and that pissed him off even more. After Clarke was done she and Fin walked over to Octavia, leaving you alone for only a few seconds before Bellamy was right at your side.
"Are you crazy? You could've gotten yourself killed Y/n!" He mumbled, placing a hand on your shoulder as he used the other one to lean on, giving himself some support.
"I'm fine, Bellamy. Fin pulled me out of-"
"Fin?! Why is it always about Fin nowadays!" He whisper-yelled, his face turning red in anger and jealousy.
"Bellamy calm down! I'm alive thanks to him-"
"I'm not going to calm down Y/n! You could have died! don't you get it? you could have died out there and I wouldn't know. I don't like that he touched you.. I don't like that he was the one that pulled you out of the water. I don't like that he's the one who brought you back to camp wrapped up in his arms as if he was your boyfriend-" I cut off his jealous rant with a kiss, pressing my lips onto his in a heated kiss. His breathing slowed down and his muscles began to relax as our lips moved in sync. After a minute we broke away for air, resting our foreheads against each others. He moved his lips down to my neck to place rough yet sweet kisses there, earning a gasp out of me. He placed feather light kisses the rest of the way down, stopping at my exposed shoulder -as I was wearing a tank top- to place small, light, loving kisses there. A small groan left my lips at his light touch which caused him to smirk against my skin. He knew exactly what he was doing and only made his ego bigger.
"Bell.. Not here. Not in front of everyone." I mumbled, pushing his head up so he could look me in the eyes again.
"Why not? Everyone should know that you belong to me." He smirked, tucking his hand underneath my legs as the other wrapped around my lower back, careful not to touch the wound on my hip. He stood up with me in his arms-bridal style- as he started walking to his tent. Giving Fin a sharp glare and a smirk as he passed him before entering me and his shared tent. He gently set me on the cot, giving me another hot kiss on my lips. He placed his hands on either side of me to support himself as he hovered over me. His black curly hair fell over his face as he planted his lips back on my neck, kissing and sucking till a sharp gasp left my throat once again. He abused that spot for a moment, smirking against my skin as our breathing became heavier and our bodies became hotter.
"You're lucky you're injured right now or else I wouldn't be holding back." His hot breath hit against my skin as he spoke, making another quiet moan leave my throat.
"Oh really?" I smirked, placing a firm kiss on his toned jawline. He took in a sharp breath, falling to lay beside me on the cot. His signature smirk was plastered on his face as he made himself comfortable next to me, his hand running down the thigh that wasn't injured.
"Now you've got me all hot and bothered, babe." I grumbled, scooting down so I could lay my head on his bicep, giving him a small kiss on the cheek before I snuggled into his chest.
"You could say it's payback for almost dying on me."
"Well, you'll just have to punish me when I'm better don't you think?" I questioned. I already knew what his answer would be but, I enjoyed the teasing.
"Oh you know it babygirl." He smirked, looking down at me with those dark, brooding eyes. oh boy were you in for a treat once your wound healed.

imagine accidentally confessing your love for John Murphy
Tumblr media
“You’re really pretty, y’know?” Murphy muttered, tapping your nose. He was laying in bed with you.
You just giggled at his comment and pulled him even closer to you, thinking about how lucky you were for having him. He had been nothing but an amazing boyfriend to you since you arrived on the ground.
“I love you” slipped from your mouth, before you could stop it. You felt the corners of his mouth lift up, and he kissed your neck softly.
“I love you too”

It's the 100 season finale. Clarke makes a decision that, for once, doesn't lead to a bunch of deaths and saves people. She self sacrifices herself and ends up giving her life for a good sacrifice.
When she opens her eyes, she's strapped into a chair on the Ark. She's 17 year old Clarke locked away in the Skybox. The Ark has been conducting a simulation on both the prisoners and willing volunteers to see what it would be like to send everyone to the ground. Everyone was in the simulation together and when you die, you get pulled out.
Everyone is alive because none of it ever happened. We get Wells, Finn, Bellamy, Monty, Jasper, Harper, Lincoln (plot twist, hes actually a volunteer for the simulation from the ark), Lexa (same as Lincoln), Kane, etc.
All is well.

Sorry if I'm late but here's one: Viva la vida (Coldplay) with Bellamy from the 100 if you are up to it? I dunno why he came to mind when I heard this song again after a while 😄
Viva La Vida
Summary: You put slugs in Bellamy’s boots. He isn’t pleased.
A/N: Coldplay is my favourite band! (Besides Take That!) Enjoy! Also... look at that gif!!<3
Set probably around season 1-2.
Tumblr media
You grinned, crouching behind a bush and watching Bellamy as he tiredly picked up his boots.
It was morning, and you’d woken early in order to train with your sister. She was currently getting ready herself, and so you’d taken the extra time to your advantage and decided to mess with your brother.
Your eyes were alight with a happiness that was terribly rare these days as you looked on, teeth biting your bottom lip in anticipation.
Bellamy sat on his blanket and you grinned. He lifted a leg, pulled on his boot, and- “AH! Holy- what the shit?” The whole camp stopped what they were doing to turn their heads towards him. He was holding his leg away from him as though it’d offended him, and his boot was hanging limply in his hand.
“Bellamy?” Clarke asked, a hint of concern lacing her voice.
You watched with quiet laughter as your brother turned his boot upside down and shook it, looking on with horror as a few slugs tumbled out. A chorus of “ew”s and “that’s disgusting”s rang out through the camp before they all moved back to what they’d been doing before, chattering among themselves.
Clarke smiled at Bellamy’s obvious revulsion. “Well,” she said, “that was a wake-up call.”
Bellamy nodded tightly, lips set in a straight line. “You can say that again,” he muttered under his breath. He ensured there were no slugs in his other boot - there were. Eight. You’d counted them yourself. But he’d shaken those out, too, with a huff and a low growl - before slipping them on and standing to his feet. He turned, eyes so clearly searching for someone, and you wisely ducked down.
“Has anyone seen Y/N?” he asked loudly.
You giggled but quickly paused when you heard Finn. “I think I saw her over there,” he said, and you peered over the top of the bushes to see both boys looking your way. You quickly widened your eyes before deciding that there was nothing for it and swiftly standing up.
“Hey, Bell,” you said with a grin.
Bellamy crossed his arms over his chest. “Why were you hiding?”
“Is there a law against it?”
“I guess not. But you can be damn sure that somewhere in the rules of sisterhood is ‘do not put slugs in my big brother’s boots’.” He rose an eyebrow.
“Funny,” you responded, “I never saw that.”
“Oh, really?” Bellamy uncrossed his arms and stepped forward. “Well, you’re gonna see it now.”
And you squealed, turning immediately and racing off through the trees.
“Get back here!” he called after you, though the laughter was evident in his voice.
“I just wanted you to live a little!” you yelled back, jumping over a couple of boys playing with stones on the grass.
“I am living!”
“Just because you’re alive it doesn’t mean you’re living- oof!” The air was immediately knocked from your lungs as you bowled straight into someone.
“Gee, sis. Watch where you’re going.” You looked up to apologise, only to see that it was Octavia you’d unintentionally ran into. Her hands were on your shoulders, steadying you, but as soon as your brain registered it was her you immediately wrenched yourself from her hold to hide yourself behind her.
“Protect me, Tavi!”
Octavia frowned before turning back around just in time to see Bellamy run up to her. He glared at you. “Step aside, O.”
Your sister smirked and crossed her arms over her chest. “Why?”
“Because she-” Here, he pointed a finger accusingly at you, and you ducked down as much as possible- “put slugs in my boots.”
Octavia rolled her eyes. “Oh, come on, Bell. You’ve gone through much worse. I’ve gotta train her, now, but you can have your revenge later.” She turned and grasped your arm. “Come on, you.”
Bellamy was still stood in the same place, arms crossed, eyebrows pinched together. You stuck your tongue out at him and he pointed a finger at you in warning.
Well. Whatever his revenge happened to be, at least you could say you were happy, which was more than you’d ever been on the Arc.

“I’m coming with you.” You told the group of teens about to begin their own mission in the woods. You had been keeping an eye on them recently, it’d be best to keep on with that. Kane was counting on you to evaluate the authority of the Ground. These guys were rising up.
“Alright, good.” Clarke accepted your offer and led everyone towards the forest.
“Welcome to the team, y/n.” Finn walked beside you with his hands in his pockets. “Believe it or not, we’re the fun ones.” He joked, giving you a much needed laugh. “Just don’t get on the wrong side of the Princess over there.”
—————
You went on a few more treks with that team...and Finn. You were starting to form a bond with him. That wasn’t in the mission guidelines.
“Y/N, watch out!” Finn tackled you into the dirt as a trap was set off, only missing the pair of you by a few inches. “You okay?” Each of you panted and you were pretty sure you saw the life flash before your eyes before frantically nodding. Finn crawled off of you and pulled you back to your feet, then you immediately yanked him forward for a kiss of gratitude. Maybe a little more thank gratitude, but that’s not important right now.
“Thanks, Collins.”

You wake up to find yourself being dragged into the area the Ark was in.
“How many of you are there?” A woman in a guards uniform asks. But you and Clarke were to worn out to even answer. You watch as people quickly move away, clearly being afraid of you as they thought you two were grounders.
“Wait,” You hear a voice in the distance.
“Once the prisoners are secure,” The guard woman says.
“They’re not prisoners. That’s my daughter and that’s Y/N Y/L/N,” The woman says leading you to realize it was Abby Griffin. She quickly rushes over to make sure Clarke was alright and then you, before passing out again.
You wake up laying on some sort of cot, “I need two saline and two pressure dressings,” Abby says as you and Clarke both wake up.
“I’m on it,” A man’s voice says.
“I saw your ship crash,” Clarke states raspily to her mother.
“I wasn’t on it. I’m right here,” Abby responds.
Abby and her assistant, Jackson, work to tend your wounds as you notice the guard woman from earlier come in, “Are they alright?” She asks.
“They will be,” Abby answers.
“I’m sorry ma’am. We had no idea who they were. Where have you been?” She questions us.
“Byrne,” Abby says, clearly wanting us to get rest.
“Mount Weather,” You answer raspily.
“The grounders took you to Mount Weather?” She asks.
“No. The Mountain Men. We have to get them out,” Clarke answers sitting up.
“We’re not doing this right now,” Abby says again wanting us to rest.
“Yes, ma’am,” Byrne responds before leaving.
“Mom. Did anyone else make it here?” Clarke questions as you sit up as well.
“Yes. Six of you did,” Abby answers.
“Bellamy?” You quickly say.
“And Finn?” Clarke asks in quick succession. Abby softly nods and you feel like a weight lifted off your chest.
“I thought they were dead,” Clarke says. “I thought you were dead,” Clarke says as she starts to break down. You move as quickly as you can to comfort her.
“Not me,” Abby says before pulling Clarke into a small hug. She then puts her arm out to pull you in as well. As much as you still didn’t like her, you needed a good hug. “I’m right here,” Abby whispers.
After Abby had helped you and Clarke clean up she stayed until you two fell asleep. You woke up just a bit after Clarke as she and Abby were having a conversion.
“How long have we been asleep?” You ask groggily.
“About 10 hours,” Abby responds. Clarke then tries to quickly get up but Abby tries to stop her.
“Clarke, slow down. Hey, it’s too soon,” Abby tells her.
“Mom, we need to move against Mount Weather. How many guards are there here? Where are Finn and Bellamy?” Clarke asks.
“Clarke, please. You need to rest,” Abby pleads.
“I don’t need to rest. I’m fine. And I don’t need you to protect me,” Clarke says moving to get up.
“I’m sorry Miss Griffin. But Clarke’s right. We need to get our people out, we need to make a move,” You say sitting up as well.
“Yes and what we need is to save our friends,” Clarke says getting off the cot.
“Ma’am,” Byrne makes her way into the tent. “Movement in the North Woods,” She announces.
“Grounders?” Abby questions.
“I don’t think so,” Byrne responds with a slight smile. You and Clarke quickly get dressed and follow Abby out of the tent.
As soon as you’re out, you notice Raven sitting off to the side, “Hi,” Clarke says.
“I’ve been waiting out here all night,” Raven says using a cane to help her up. “Abby said you two needed sleep,” She says hugging Clarke and then you.
“Raven, I--” Clarke starts as you two notice the brace on her left leg.
“Sucks, but I’m dealing with it,” Raven states, still with a smile plastered on her face. The three of you then turn your attention once you hear the gate was opening.
“Bellamy,” You say to yourself noticing it was him and some other people.
“Go. I’ll catch up,” Raven smiles.
“Okay,” Clarke says quietly. You and Clarke head off and towards the front of the camp.
As soon as you got close enough you run right into Bellamy and embrace him. You clearly caught him off guard as he didn’t know what was happening but soon enough he wrapped his arms around you. You and Bellamy just stood there embracing eachother. You felt at peace for a moment knowing he was ok and that you got to see him again.
Once you pulled away Clarke quickly moved to take your place, “Now, there’s something I thought I’d never see,” Octavia comments as you pull her into a hug.
“I’m glad you’re ok,” Octavia whispers in your ear.
“You too,” I say as we pull away from eachother. Clarke quickly takes your place again to hug Octavia.
“How many are with you?” Bellamy asks.
“Just us,” You respond. You watch as their faces fall flat.
“Where’s Finn?” Clarke asks and Raven looks over to Bellamy for an answer.
“Looking for you,” Bellamy responds looking at Clarke.
You, Clarke and Bellamy, spend a few minutes catching up, “So what happened?” Bellamy asks.
“After we barbecued the grounders, the men inside of Mount Weather caught 48 of us. They seemed all happy go lucky, but Clarke and I knew it was too good to be true. So we invested and found out that they were using captured grounders to heal themselves,” You explain.
“One man had severe radiation burns and a few hours later. He was completely fine,” Clarke explains as well.
“Well I’m just glad you’re ok,” Bellamy says setting eyes on you. “Both of you,” He says shifting his eyes to Clarke. Before we could continue Abby makes our way to us and pulls Clarke aside.
“What? No. You can’t just cut them loose,” Clarke says after her mother explains the situation.
“Sweetheart, we don’t have the manpower to send out two rescue missions and protect our camp,” Abby explains. You and Bellamy exchange looks as you both clearly know how stupid the situation is.
“Mom, they’re in trouble. They’re either gonna get themselves killed or make things worse with the grounders...who wee need to get our people out of Mount Weather,” Clarke says.
“I know you feel this is unfair...but our priority has to be with Chancellor Kane...if there is any hope for peace,” Abby responds.
“If you wanted peace, you shouldn’t have killed the only grounder who was gonna help us,” You say getting annoyed at Abby.
“I’m sorry. The decisions been made,” Abby says.
“You’re sorry?” Bellamy speaks up. “Finn and Murphy are out there looking for your daughter with guns you gave us. And now she’s home, you’re just going to abandon them?” Bellamy questions, but Abby clearly has no response to that. “If you can’t spare the guards, we know the terrain. We have a map. We can do it ourselves,” Bellamy states.
“No, absolutely not,” Abby says sternly.
“Mom,” Clarke snaps.
“I just got you back,” Abby snaps back.
“Abby,” Jackson says running in. “I’m sorry. We need you in medical,” He says.
“You better go,” Clarke says quickly, clearly showing she’s done with the conversation.
“Byrne. No one leaves this camp,” Abby states not moving her gaze at Clarke.
“Yes, ma’am,” Byrne responds. Abby then heads off with Jackson, glaring at both you and Bellamy.
“We’re gonna need guns,” Clarke says moving back towards you and Bellamy.
Bellamy then heads off, knowing just who to talk to, as you and Clarke head to pack some supplies. “So you and Bellamy?” Clarke questions as you two pack some bags.
“What are you talking about?” You ask back.
“I’m not blind,” Clarke softly chuckles. “There’s something there isn’t there?” Clarke questions.
“I was happy to see him safe. That’s all there was to it,” You say as you finish packing a bag.
“Uh-huh,” Clarke says.
“Come on we gotta go,” You say quickly making your way out of the room.
You and Clarke then go to meet Bellamy and Raven behind a part of the Ark, “Scored you a couple extra clips,” Raven says as you two walk-up.
“Hey, my mom’s in surgery, and the team going after Kane just left. We should too,” Clarke says.
“Did you find Octavia?” Bellamy asks.
“No. I found you,” Octavia says making her way up to us.
“I’m not letting you two leave here without me,” She says looking between you and Bellamy.
“Octavia--,” Clarke tries to start.
“Finn and Murphy are headed for Lincoln’s village. I’ve been there. Have you? Have they?” Octavia asks.
“You done?” Bellamy asks back. You then hand Bellamy one of the bags you were holding and he holds it out to Octavia.
“What’s this?” She asks.
“Your pack. Lead the way,” Bellamy responds. You all then finish preparing to leave as you, Bellamy and Clarke grab guns.
“Whoa. Not so fast, Pocahontas,” Raven says noticing Octavia shift to the gate. Raven then taps her cane on a wire causing a  large spark to appear, surprising you a bit.
“I thought you said it was handled,” Clarke whispers to Raven.
“It is,” Raven says pulling out a walkie talkie. “Shut her down, Wick,” She speaks into it. She taps her can once more on the wire and no spark appeared. “Handled,” Raven states.
The four of you sneak out of the gate and head into the forest. You spent hours on your way to Lincolns village and set up camp once it got dark. You all laid down to sleep, although being unable to sleep you shift and open your eyes to find Bellamy staring at you from the log he was sitting on.
“Last time I saw you, the dropship door was closing,” Bellamy says. You shift uncomfortably remembering how hard you fought for them to wait. “Had to be done,” He states back.
You pull yourself up, “Did you get any sleep?” You ask him as you see Clarke do the same.
“It’s okay. I’ll sleep when we find Finn. You two haven’t seen him. Losing you Clarke, the others, the war, it changed him. He executed the grounder that drew us the map. Pulled the trigger without even blinking and walked away,” Bellamy says.
“That doesn’t sound like Finn,” Clarke says shaking her head.
“No, it doesn’t,” Bellamy says softly. “I saw what he was capable of...and still, I let him go with Murphy and two automatic rifles,” Bellamy says upset.
“I’m sure that had to be done too,” Clarke responds.
“When we got back to the dropship and no one was there...we assumed it was the grounders,” Bellamy says.
“Makes sense. You couldn’t have known it was the Mountain men. No one could have,” You say.
“How long until chocolate cake turns into being hung upside down...and drained for their blood?” Bellamy asks.
“I don’t know. But we don’t have much time,” Clarke responds.
“Okay. First we find Finn, then our people in Mount Weather,” Bellamy says as you and Clarke nod in agreement.
“And Lincoln,” Octavia says from her makeshift bed. “I think we’ve slept long enough,” Octavia says getting up. You, Clarke and Bellamy then follow and get ready to make your way through the forest again.
You all continue to trek well into the morning. Soon enough you see the large statue in the distance representing Lincoln’s village, “Which way to the village?” Bellamy asks.
Octavia just stands there giving us no response, “O?” You ask.
“The reapers came from here,” She points with her machete from the ground to the statue. She starts to cry and turns towards us, “I couldn’t save him, Bell,” She says and falls into Bellamy’s arms. You move to hug her as well, hoping it would comfort her. “I couldn’t save him,” She says as you pull away.
“It’s okay,” You hear Bellamy barely say.
The four of you continue to make your way towards the village before you’re alerted by some gunfire. As soon as you heard it you all start to run towards the village hoping to get there as soon as possible. As you hear more and more gunfire you continue to make your way towards the village.
Once you make it to the village you find the villagers in a small coral with Finn and Murphy on the other side. The villagers are screaming and huddling together, scared for their lives. Octavia is the first to make it into the village and quickly makes her way over to a man looking at a body. As the rest of you make it in you notice the bodies lying motionless on the ground. Finn tries to move towards Clarke but she’s quick to move back, knowing what he’s done.
“I found you,” Finn says out of breath, but Clarke just shakes her head almost seeming scared of him.
A/N: Finally the reunion with Bellamy. And the truth of what Finn’s become. I hope you all enjoyed this part!

The Fierce And Broken
2.05
Masterlist
“What do you mean I can’t come?”
“Y/N we have been over this,” Abby sighed. The good doctor was still avoiding eye contact with you. “You aren’t well enough to join us. I’m still very concerned that you might develop an infection, and we need you here.”
You frowned. Octavia, Raven, Clarke, Bellamy, Finn, a few guards and Abby were leaving on a mission because Raven figured out that Mount Weather had been jamming the signa. “What about Raven? She’s injured, or does that not matter because she’s expendable?”
“I never said-”
“But you think it?”
Abby’s face twisted as she stepped closer to you, she looked ashamed. “What did Raven tell you?”
“Nothing,” you scoffed. “She told me nothing but I saw you.”
Abby let out a sigh of frustration as she packed the last of the first aid kit she was taking with her. You weren’t usually willing to confront someone about a situation that didn’t involve you, but you had been seething all night. Raven was your friend and didn’t deserve to be slapped across the face regardless of how Abby felt.
“Tensions have been running high recently, and-”
Shaking your head you cut her off, “I don’t care. Raven is the only reason your daughter, and the rest of us are still alive. She saved us from the grounders and you’ve thank her by treating her like dirt.”
“Y/N...”
“This isn’t the ark,” you shook your head.
Abby cleared her throat and finally looked you in the eye. “I meant what I said before, we do need you here. How would you feel about being trained further in the medical field?”
Her question took you aback, it was unexpected. “I...what would I need to do?”
“Once you are fully healed you can shadow me and Jackson,” there was an awkward pause before she continued. “Regardless of what you think of me, don’t turn down this offer. We need all the help we can get and you have a lot of potential. Think it over and we can talk about it again once I return.”
You awkwardly left the room without saying a word before heading towards the gates of camp where you knew the group was. You needed to say bye to Raven and Octavia before they left. Being so preoccupied with your own thoughts you didn’t notice the person in front of you until it was too late. “Shit, sorry I never seen you.”
Finn shrugged, “it’s okay.”
Despite the fact you didn’t agree with what Finn did in the grounder village seeing him look so lost did pull at your emotions. You couldn’t help but feel sorry for him, you weren’t an expert but you thought Finn was suffering from post traumatic stress disorder, or something similar. So far you’d based your opinion on him from how he’d treated Raven previously, but you’d survived being taken by Anya together. You knew he was a good person and something must have caused him to snap.
“How are you feeling? I heard what the mountain men did to you.”
“Sore but I’ll survive,” you sighed. Finn nodded and began to walk past you when you stopped him. Gently you squeezed his shoulder, “whatever’s happened will sort itself out, okay? Stay safe out there.”
“Reyes!” You shouted while walking towards the gate fast as you could knowing they were about to leave at any moment. Raven spun around to face you and the nervous look on her face concerned you. “Are you okay?”
She nodded, “yeah, everything is peachy.”
You opened your mouth to reply when Octavia stepped in front of you with a frown on her face. “Alba, you should be resting.”
“I don’t need to rest O,” you chuckled lightly. “What I need is for the two of you to be safe out there.”
Octavia briefly filled you in on their plan as as she spoke you couldn’t help but notice the way Raven’s brown eyes darted between the two of you. Looking over Octavia’s shoulder you could see Abby and the guards walking towards the group. It was time for them to go. As you watched them leave you couldn’t help but worry with how distracted Raven seemed. It wasn’t like her, she was usually on the ball with everything.
It seemed you weren’t the only person Abby had told about her offer to train you as Jackson had found you to give you a gift. An atlas of human anatomy.
You had taken notes of things you didn’t understand, and would ask Jackson about later when the flaps to the tent opened. You were surprised to see Murphy standing there.
He entered the tent as you stared at him speechless. You didn’t know if you should scream at him or hug him. Murphy didn’t give you a choice as He pulled you into him, your head rested on his chest as his arms wrapped around you tightly. Eventually you stepped back, and he brushed strands of hair out of your face. “I thought you had died, then I thought I was going to die.”
You let out a deep sigh, “everything is so messed up.”
Murphy flopped down onto the makeshift bed and let out a loud groan. You noticed a few cuts and bruises that seemed to be decorating his body, “who did that to you?”
“Bellamy. I thought he was going to beat me to death, again.”
“You almost hung him, I could see why he’s mad...this time anyway.”
Murphy chuckled at the expression on your face, before pulling you to lay down next to him. “Yeah, yeah everybody hates me. I know that.”
“I don’t hate you,” you turned to face him. “I still love you John, even though you acted like a psychotic fool.”
“A psychotic fool? That’s probably the nicest thing I’ve been called. Aren’t you going to ask me?”
You were confused. The two of you had lots of things to catch up on, so it wasn’t obvious what situation he was talking about. “Ask you what?”
“If I meant to shoot her?”
A horrible feeling of guilt settled in the back of your throat. This was the tent you shared with Raven and the person who almost killed her was sitting in it with you, but you also knew it was an accident. “You’ve done some stupid shit, but I know you wouldn’t have harmed her deliberately.”
“You must be the only one.”
A comfortable silence filled the tent until you decided to break it. “My dads dead.”
Murphy sat up fast, “what?”
“Uh yeah...” you felt your voice break, “he volunteered himself on the ark.”
Murphy must have known what you meant as he linked his fingers with your own. You shared the story Clarke had told you before explaining what happened in Mount weather. You were more interested in learning what happened in the drop-ship before the grounders attacked, and what happened in Tondc.
You woke to the sound of shuffling close by. With a groan you opened your eyes to realise you had fallen asleep while sitting on the ground with the damn book on your lap. Craning your neck in the dimly lit tent you were able to make the figure out.
“When did you get back?”
Raven froze and looked over to you, “just now.”
You sat up and threw the book down onto the bed before stretching your stiff body. Raven didn’t look her usual self, something was off. “What happened out there?”
“I was able to break the encryption on the radio and we can now hear the mountain men. They keep talking about something called the veil.”
Your mouth curved into a smile, “you're a genius Reyes.”
Raven didn’t answer you and continued to get changed. The atmosphere between you wasn’t good, you could tell she was pissed off. She looked extremely uncomfortable when you spoke to her. You wracked your brain to try and figure out what you could have done when you realised Abby could have filled her in on your conversation.
Raven picked the book up off the bed and sat it on top of a bag so it wasn’t on the ground, “I guess I’m not the only genius here.”
“I got asked if I wanted to train more in medical stuff, I think I’m going to go for it.”
“That’s good.”
Sighing you stepped towards Raven, “what’s going on? Whatever it is you can tell me?”
You and Raven had shared a lot and had become close friends since the first night you shared a tent with each other. It hurt to think she was in pain and didn’t feel she could share it with anyone, especially you.
“Just leave it Al.”
The tone in her voice told you everything you needed to know. She was mad. “I shouldn’t have said anything to Abby but I did. She doesn’t get to hurt you like that.”
Raven stepped closer to you, “you spoke to Abby about me?”
You stared at her wide eyed. Shit. “I thought you knew,” the brunette shook her head. “I know you asked me not too, so I’m sorry if you think I’ve betrayed you in some way.”
“Why?” She asked softly, “why did you do it?”
“Because I care about you, and you're going through a lot. The last thing you need is-”
Raven cut you off by pressing her lips against your own.
