She took a moment. “It’s actually sir duckstien.” She said. “Quackers is a nickname.” It should be obvious why that was the case, obviously.

“Oh, the other guy said he had booked his hotel, the rental and flight already. So he’ll be fine.” She waved it off in an instant. “Said he’s not been in the Pacific Northwest much, and he might do some sightseeing when it’s over, he’s low maintenance.”

Annalise got to the shack. She didn't seem angry, much more defeated really. She knocked on the door. "Hey... I'm here to apologize for my stubborn ass."

The shack was…well, bigger than a “shack,” even if it had a sign that said “Mystery Shack” on a part of the roof. Honestly, this thing could have been a lodge considering how big it was.

And the person who answered the door wasn’t Sixer.

A man with silver hair and almost radioactive green eyes pulled the door open and raised an eyebrow at Annalise’s comment.

Crescent looked the kid up and down, trying to get an idea of whether or not she was friend or foe. “And who are ya apologizin’ to, exactly?”

height: 5′4 and 3/4 (when i was 11 my doc was like damn you’ll get to 5′5 soon enough but like.... never did)

hobbies: writing (mostly fanfic now, used to work in journalism and dabbled in original fiction), drawing (took a long break and didn’t draw for 4 years but i’m back on my bullshit), bouldering (i like both doing the sport AND watching it), playing D&D, gaming (though I haven’t had as much time for games what with all the other stuff)! reading too. 

favorite colors: any form of light to medium blue is my absolute favourite colour, though I dress in complete black and grey monochrome because I hate making decisions in the morning 

favorite books: i have legit NO clue how to answer this because there’s too much shit but I’ll try. 

Growing up, my favourite series were A Series of Unfortunate Events and the City of Ember trilogy. 

The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane is another fav childhood book. It’s about a porcelain rabbit finding his way home and it really got me in the emotions so hard that I still think/cry about it as an adult. 

In HS, I remember loving John Steinbeck’s East of Eden so much that I went 15 mins over the time limit for a class presentation talking about it (everyone kept groaning but i just chugged on cause i loved that book so fucking much. prof enjoyed enthusiasm about books and didn’t stop me). 

Lately though, I’ve mostly been reading sci-fi anthologies, queer graphic novels (my absolute favourite is ‘The Less than Epic Adventures of TJ and Amal,’ which is entirely available as a webcomic for free. It’s a really gorgeously drawn road trip/love story), and fanfic. 

I feel like I should also mention Questionable Content - it’s a (free) webcomic that still updates almost daily, and I’ve been following it for a decade. QC is still one of my ultimate favourite things I’ve ever read. 

last song i listened to: Probably “The Parting Glass” by The High Kings, a rendition of a Scottish Drinking song that is legit the best fucking song ever. Either that or something by Doja Cat

last film i watched:  Bon Cop Bad Cop - a Canadian classic and I realized I’d never actually seen it! Had to rectify that stat

inspiration or muse: tbh when it comes to writing (this is gonna sound cheesy as FUCK) i’m most inspired by my relationships with my close friends, my family and my partner. my writing might be hella ridiculous at times but it’s entirely cheesy mush when it comes down to it

dream job: to be QUITE honest, i just wanna be one of those people in mocap suits that jumps around in a green room and models for 3D animation. However, the chances of that happening are close to 0%  given i’m literally in grad school to be a librarian. i do GENUINELY want to be a librarian but if someone were to come up to me tomorrow and be like, “i’m offering you a job with the same salary as a specialized librarian except all you need to do is mime out action sequences and facial expressions in a mocap suit” i’d be like sign me the fuck up. alas, a girl can dream.

meaning behind your url: I wanted it to be a pun and i thought “Sir Cumference” was funny because it had a medieval vibe. Turns out, its the name of a series of educational math books for kids. the more ya know.
