It looks a little gnarly from the firescale, but fabrication was a success! Everything is firmly attached. Now it goes into a citric acid bath overnight to remove the firescale, then tomorrow it'll get a flat black enamel coat for the detail (brass doesn't tend to patina well), buffed & polished, and lastly, the stone will be set.
