Even if Capcom didn't plan anything with the writing and Project W wasn't a thing until RE5, I still love the fact that the reveal recontextualizes Wesker's line to Chris in RE1:

Just spent a very enjoyable half hour exploring your color guardians universe! How much flexibility is there in their color palettes? Like could a blue end up leaning more teal or indigo, or darker or lighter shades? Or are they pretty much locked in on the palettes you've given them so far? Also has Anita ever accidentally crossed paths with her family since coming back from the timestream and how did that go? (Angsty, I assume.)

wait firstly, Anita did track down her family upon returning and she does gently stalk them. Generally she avoids them cuz it hurts too much to think about. She doesn't have plans to reveal herself to them until she knows the Colorless are completely gone.

the colors can absolutely go darker and lighter, but the hues don't vary all that much from what you've seen. This is true for all the Color Guardians. They can't really combine colors, based purely off how they were created. However they can wear each other's colors as accents!

-some examples! Red has healing abilities, and if an injury is severe enough Red can leave a healing star which functions like a magic bandaid

-Orange can force people to tell the truth and whenever she does so it usually looks like the affected is wearing orange makeup

-Pink has mind controlling abilities, but can embue this into objects however she sees fit

I was thinking about TMA in relation to Fnaf because of the similarities between Nikola Orsinov and Eleanor, and I came up with a Fnaf au where roughly the same plot happens but under TMA rules, and I made the MCI kids' fate even sader. William made them into Avatars as part of his attempt at creating the hunt ritual, and now they're required to go around killing and traumatizing people so their god doesn't eat them from the inside. And they have more of their memories than their canon counterparts.

i find it shameful that the leaders of a series of eastern european and balkan countries are choosing to either stay by israel or keep their mouths shut on this. we are countries which have no history of colonialism or colonial outposts around the world, in fact, we are countries with a long history of struggling against imperialism and opression from several bigger empires, and we know what it is to be opressed in this way, and we know what it is to have your people ethnically clensed and your lands stolen while your delegates desperately beg foreign countries to please help them and noone does shit bc bigger empires have split the world up amongst themselves (like the fall of romania to the soviets most recently). i find it shameful that romania, which was one of the first countries to recognize palestine in 1988, and which has been praised over years for standing by palestine and trying to promote a two state solution (okay not perfect, better than nothing this shit Is complicated regardless of what internet ppl say) again and again and support palestinian interests to the UN,,, is now largely choosing silence and through association with the eu, standing by israel. come the fuck on. in part im sure because romania (and bulgaria) are already on bad terms with the eu, western euro doesn't like that we are in it and were having issues w shenghen and corruption and plenty of other shit and our ""leaders"" probably wouldn't wanna throw more fule to the fire, in part because our ""leaders"" are mostly amoralistic self interested money stealing corrupt good for nothing fucks who barely give a shit about their own ppl even. either damn way, shameful

I love NAE and I know he is a bit (well, more than a bit) of an antagonistic cretin, but it feels like his anti-social personality might be a coping mechanism for personal issues and insecurities he is struggling with.
