Hari Mara Hari - Lejla (BiH 2006). What to say, beautiful ballad in native language, very powerful voice, in my honest opinion this song should have won back in 2006. But then again, I'm a fan of his music so maybe I'm just biased

Go_A - Shum (Ukraine 2021). What every country should do: send a mix of folklore and modern music in native language. Honestly if I had to choose a country that overal has best entries without a doubt it'll be Ukraine, they never disappoint. What's hard to choose actually is which song of theirs was the best. I can't decide but Go_A's Šum definitely goes into top 3. Also in begging everyone listen to Shady Lady, their 2008's entry

Conchira Wurst - Rise like a Phoenix (Austria 2014). Hands down one of best ballads in English sent in last 20 years. Definitely a deserved win, no matter what public at that time said cuz of her appearance. The 'but I'm gonna fly' part never fails to give me goosebumps. I feel like that song could be trans anthem

Elena Born and Stig Rästa - Goodbye to Yesterday (Estonia 2015). The classic. Very simple yet striking duet, idk how to describe it but there's something rly captivating about the song. Ans they look like they're so in love 🥺

Can Bonomo - Love me back (Turkey 2012). Add to endless list of songs that should have won over Euphoria 🙄 it's a very unique song, very catchy too. Also this is the last year Turkey took part in esc :< I miss their performances 😭

Željko Joksimović - Lane Moje and No name - Zauvjek Moja (Serbia & Montenegro 2004 and 2005) - I tried to choose only one but couldn't ;-; that's how 00s music on Balkan was like, it fills me with nostalgia. Sadly national song content in 2006 was one of reasons why union between two countries collapsed so it's more of pensive nostalgia for people here

Anxhela Peristeri - Karma (Albania 2021). This song was criminally underrated 2 years ago :< powerful ballad, perfect voice, strong tune - idk why she didn't rank higher? Albania always sends good song in their language and gets little points, it's unfair :/

Charlotte Perrilli - Hero (Sweden 2008). Yes I can't believe I'm saying this but there is an underrated swedish entry. I've hear this one back in 2008 and it stick with me ever since. Catchy 00s pop song

Andromache - Ela (Cyprus 2022). This one didn't even qualify ;-; honestly it was one of my faves from last year but it was so obvious she was nervous on stage. Plus song isn't really much of Eurovision material so I sort of understand why she didn't qualify but I adored the song nonetheless 🥰 love hearing Greek language

Dima Bilan - Never let you go (Russia 2006). His voice 🥺 song is so beautiful idk what to say really beside I'm an absolute fan (plus that imma go dig up more of his music). I do like Believe from 2008 too but prefer this song

Dash was known for his prime jock personality. Really just a cookie cutter jock from those classic underdog movies. Low grades, quarterback on the football team, shoving kids in lockers, everyone knew it. What they didnt know was that this isnt where the similarities stopped. His mother died when he was younger. He wasnt going to be tricked into believing in a future he had no chance at. After all they say you become your parents. Hes right on track for that, just like his old man. No way he is like his mom. She was kind, sweet, and cared about everyone. No hes nothing like her. He knows it. He can only hope she isnt looking down on him, she probably disowned him ages ago is she was. No son of hers. Sometimes he tries to plead with her. What choice does he have. How can he change it. Please help him. No matter how much he begs and pleads she will never answer. Shes gone and now she can see just how horrible her son really is. She much be so disappointed. That thought shakes him to his core. The idea that his mother who he loved is disappointed in him. How could he turn out like this, to waste all her efforts on teaching him better. He might as well go spit on her grave now. So he decides then and there that he will change. Tomorrow he says. We are far from midnight yet, but i think i want to say a few words to say goodbye to this year.

2022 was a rather kind year to me, despite the horrors! And sure, the horrors were great, i am in the worst economic position ever since the pandemic, and i haven't been able to STILL fulfill my resolution, which is to come out, not to mention the very awful moments I've had w my dad's relationship and my grandma rn, but hey! Everything is going ok right now.

So let me actually thank for what the year gave me and for what achieved. For example, i finally finished highschool this year! I refuse to think of it because if i do i will cry and that goes against my tough guy persona, but it's truly a great achievement. 3 years ago i nearly killed myself because of this shit and today i stand alive on top of it. I made it. I fucking made it. And there were many obstacles, i had my own fucking Judas!! But hey, who cares! I did it.

And this year gave me a lot of joy!! This year i found out my passion for liveblogging which made me watch so many movies and be able to share so many feelings about it.

The fixations that stole the show this year are without a doubt spiderman, evil dead, and american psycho tbh! Absolutely not the only ones but the ones that most good did to me in an emotional level. I spoke a lot about my love for these things and how much they mean to me and i could do so for all the other fixations I'm kinda glossing over but that would take waaay too long 💀

But not only that, this year was WONDERFUL for music too!!! I got to get into Reverend Glasseye, my current favorite band, and so many others. Like Harley Poe! This year's album made me so clinically insane. I truly got super into these genres i was previously unaware of and it feels so nice. I'm thriving honestly!!

This year also was a great one for relationships in all honesty!! If you asked me who I met this year i wouldn't be able to answer you, but what i know is that this year truly allowed me to become more and more normal, and allowed me to create a deeper bond with a lot of mutuals and friends!! There's still a long way to go, there's a lot of people with whom i want to be closer, but this is more than i could have wished for years ago!!!!

Of course it's selfish as balls to give myself all the credit, i truly am thankful for the friends and people that have been with me this year, in a bigger or smaller scale. I appreciate and love all of you and I hope this can keep going. Hugging and kissing u all /p

AND THATS NOT ALL ABOUT MY RELATIONSHIPS!! I would be a madman if i just glossed over how my 3-4 years relationship with Blood ended. But that's not bad!! So, overall, 2022 treated me niceys! Sure, there were a lot of bad things, lots of extremely painful things, the horrors were strong, my mental health is ever deteriorating, but it's okay. I have hope! I have friends, i have love, i know i can make it. I WANT to make it. I want to keep going, i want to see more of this life, i want to see more of my friends, i just want to keep on living.

And that's the note I'm ending the year on!! On a pained but hopeful note. Like a man, crawling, full of open wounds, looking up and the sky again, seeing the sun go up, thankful of still being here.

Oh yeah and I'm also thankful of my brain chemistry changing crush on Willem Dafoe that was a very cool part of this year too! 😁👍

.Arthur was dreaming about being in a loving relationship since forever. Family is something that is very important to him. And that's what he is looking for when it comes to a partner. He is longing for someone he can be a family with. The family he never had. Heˋs not interested in superficial relationships that wonˋt last long. Losing someone he trusted in would be a dramatic let down. Arthur is in need for someone he can spent the rest of his life with. Someone to trust, to lean on.

Whats most important to him, is to be understood. To be truly seen. Someone who will love him unconditionally. Just like he wrote in his journal „My one and only person who understands me“. He felt missunderstood since childhood and all he is looking for, is that one love that truly gets him.

Thats why  communication is very important to him. Arthur really wants to talk to someone. He wants to talk about his day when he got home from work, about his latest observations and the latest jokes he was working on.

At first it wouldnˋt be as easy to talk about some other things as he thought. His darkest thoughts and highest hopes, every messy thought that is crossing his mind. Words and feelings he never even wrote into his diary because he knew his therapist might read it. Arthur is slowly getting used to  trusting you with his feelings. Once he knows he is understood, he will lie down in your arms, his head resting on your chest and simply talk.

I tend to think that Arthur keeps a secret diary, one he doesnt show his therapist. And once he trust you enough, there might be nights when he is grabbing his secret journal and read you a page or two. Because he wants to share his thoughts and let you know what is going on inside his head.

There will be days and nights when everything is getting too much and he will not speak a word, knowing that itˋs okay to just be together. Knowing that you will understand his silence too.

But letˋs go back to  before the two of you had moved together. To when he first saw you.

Arthur might have been watching you for a while. Mostly from the distance, because he is too shy to make the first move. Heˋs kinda waiting for that magic moment of you walking straight up to him to ask him out for a date.

Arthur has no experience with relationships or dating, all he did was dreaming about it all his life. His idea of it is a very romantic one. A love like he saw it in the movies or is discribed in the oldies he likes to listen to.

Even in his daydreams we sometimes see him too shy to hold Sophies hand, another time brave enough to knock on her door to grab her face and kiss her, while candles are burning in the background of her apartment. In reality he is too shy to really talk to her, but he still opens the elevator door like a gentleman. And thats how he sees himself in a relationship. A romantic at heart. A gentleman, but one who loves to be silly and funny with his partner.

Arthur is dreaming about being adored but he would give his loved one just as much admiration back. He loves to show his love by inventing insider jokes only the two of you will get and by gifting self made presents, like self written poetry, pressed flowers, polaroids and self recorded mix tapes. Everything he shares with you is personal and true.

Your first date  will probably not happen until you notice this beautiful man and how incredibly shy he is. Maybe someday heˋll find the nerve to  cross your way, asking you for a lighter. Heˋll be nervous about if you notice his sweaty hands and shaking voice. Not sure about how he could possibly ask for your name.

Arthur might try to bump into you more often. Heˋll wait for you outside the Donut shop until you come out and pass you by with a shy smile or ask you what time it is.

And one day his dream will come true and you ask him for his name. Because it is impossible to not fall in love with him.

Arthur would be beyond excited  about his first date. Heˋll dress in his best clothes, put on some cologne, hoping youˋll be the one. Heˋll pick something simple like going to the donut shop, drinking coffee or going to the movies together. It might take a while until he tries to touch you „accidentally“ or even hold your hand. He wants to make sure this is truly happening.

His first attempt of getting closer to you might be him asking you for a slow dance. This could happen at any place. At a small cafe, at the park or in his kitchen. Arthur wouldnˋt even feel the need to put music on do do it. Light hearted lovesongs are already playing in his head when he is with you and he wants to make you feel the melodies that fill his heart with joy. A heart that would definitely start racing the moment youˋll lean in for a loving kiss...

He dreamed about being kissed for as long as he can remember and when the moment comes, heˋll be mostly passive and insecure at first, trying to get a feeling for it. He wouldnˋt know what to do with his hands, before he gets confident enough to gently hold your face, while he is kissing you back.

Arthur dreams about being more confident and straight forward, but his lack of experience make him wait for you to take the next step and the next.

He was yearning for closeness to another person for his whole life. How many nights did he fantasize about having someone to cuddle with at night…someone to hold, to make love to.

Intimacy in itś purest form would be the most enjoyable part for him. He wants to be able to finally show his love to someone. Someone who will love him in return. He wants to feel, to touch,to taste and smell, to be real in someones arms and someone to be real in his.

Arthur is craving eye contact and gentle hands. Heˋll be passive at first until he slowly gained some experience with you. As a victim of child abuse he needs his partner to be very sensitive, compassionate,patient and empathetic with him.

Making love is all about connection, being wanted and comfort to him.

Being in a relationship and living together to him is about sharing his life with someone. Being loved feels like the final proof that he does exist.

Nyx was scheduled to get his vaccinations today and Cassian who Feyre had just found out had a fear of needles was worried on her sons behalf.

Feyre felt Rhys sit next to her and used tendrils of darkness to wisp around Nyx. Nyx instantly brightened and giggled reaching out to them. Rhys nodded at Madja, and as Madja softly took his right leg in her hand, Rhys tickled Nyx on the left side. Nyx squealed in laughter, completely oblivious to the shot that was just given to him.

“Good thought”, whispered Feyre who felt more love for this man everyday. More love for him for being such a good father.

six of crows is a book, the first in a duology, set in the same world as the recently netflix'd book series shadow and bone! the books and the show (which, from a i-read-the-books standpoint, it was GREAT???) definitely have made their rounds of popularity on tumblr twitter etc, so i'm sure some of you at least know of the netflix adaption. (please don’t hesitate to ask more clarifying questions in relation to this!! and about characters or lifestyle or plot. pls. my ask box is so open)

six of crows, specifically, is still one of the best books i have ever read. it takes place in a fictional sort of 1920s-vibe era that has magical elements to it. what is GREAT about it is that it doesn't center around the magic (shadow and bone does but ah i didn't like those books as much)- the magic is simply in the world and it is so effortlessly talked about and politicized. there are six main characters and together they pull the most well-written, smart, thought-out heist for a million kruge, which is their currency. and that would be all the plot context you'd need, since in theory, i would invent... a whole.. whole different fucking heist....😔

i did, yeah, so there are certain people--called Grisha--that are born with abilities. you'd take this sort of genetics test when you're young and you'd find out. there are different kinds of abilities that range from fire to manipulating solid matter. more to come on them though🤝.

there are five main continents--kerch, ravka, novyi zem, fjerda, and shu han, though most of the story takes place in kerch's capital city and then in fjerda where the heist takes place. five continents, five boroughs... sometimes things just work out lads. anyways, character time.

jack kelly--kaz brekker's role

this is a no-brainer i would hope. in the book, kaz is a ranking gang member of a gang called the Dregs, which fits perfectly with jack as they’re both young leaders. kaz is a very broody type of leader, very snide and aloof, and jacks jackness would be fun to write in this position. hes a criminal mastermind at only 17, of course, and crafts the genius plan of the heist himself. kaz is also extremely ruthless, which ties into his aloofness, so jacks charisma paired with that same ruthlessness? oh man. oh man thats gonna be so fun.

davey jacobs, the ghost--inej ghafa, the wraith's role

YALL in the book inej is basically an acrobatic knife-weilding spy who literally makes no noise entering rooms and can scale buildings. she's also one of few characters with a mentioned family of mom, dad, brother, etc. she's kaz's right hand, as davey is jack's. inej is also the heart that kaz doesn't have, so to speak. while jack would certainly have more of a heart than kaz (who is like. basically heartless until inej you know the drill), he doesn't often think to use it, and davey would be his reminder ("well, how do you feel about it" "who's going to be affeted by this" "no, Jack, thats murder"). also nimble acrobatic davey... yeah♥️

now. for those of you who have read the series y’all might be like hmm… idk about this one… but Let Me Tell You. first of all, nina is bouncy and snappy and bold and unapologetically herself. and that is exactly who crutchie is. he is so proud of who he is and where he came from and who he’s become! nina is also a grisha, called a heartrender, which gives her powers over the human heart (speed/slow pulses down, stop hearts, i think they can like… squeeze them almost it’s wild)! which means my man crutch has powers. making crutchie nina gives crutchie and dave an absolutely wonderful dynamic so that’s very exciting🤝

spot conlon—matthias helvar’s role

YALL gonna hate me for this one lowkey LMAO… so matthias comes from a place where they believe grishas are witches and should all burn and die! gah!!!! he has a past with nina, which i plan to reflect with crutchie and spot which is absolutely BALLER… those two need more content together and i am willing to give it. you’re welcome. like spot, matthias often is quite stone-faced and serious, very much the “you guys are all idiots” while being an absolute lovesick dope all the while. very underrated character, i’m quite pleased w myself on this one AND how im gonna do ships… oh baby

oh fucking BABYYYYY this one is hype. in the book, wylan’s father is the one that hires the crows (our beloved cast) for the million dollar job, and kaz sort of recruits wylan for like. sort of insurance, that they’ll get the money or like they’ll harm van eck’s son. but he’s also a huge asset—he knows a shit ton about explosives and demolition, so he actually becomes super helpful in their little mission and he hates his dad♥️😌. kath is similar for a billion reasons, but i like kath being “the new kid” and learning about life that isn’t in a mansion, and her really wanting to escape the way her father wants her to live and find her own people. also kath is the audience’s eyes into the world of the crows for y’all so you’re welcome for this pov lmao.

Okay, so here we go:

1. Favourite Place

This is a tough one because India has everything: seas, beaches, forests, cities, you name it. But if I had to choose, I would go for Goa and Assam, they are very beautiful.

7. Favourite 3 words in Native Language

So, hindi is a very complex language and well, my 3 fav words as of now are:

A) Aap : You.

This is unique because there are 3 variations of saying you in hindi: tu, tum and aap. So, why is "aap" unique? Because you use this word to convey repect towards a person. So, I would say "aap" to my parents, my elders and even people younger or same age as me who I respect greatly.

B) Yaar : Friend. We also use it casually, like someone disappointingly saying, "man". So, when we go: "Yaar, this is crazy" it mostly means "Man, this is crazy"

C) Tulsi : Basil. It sounds so sweet 😍

10. Favourite Swear Words

Ah, this should be my favourite 😆

Okay, so my favourite would 'saala' which actually translates to 'younger brother-in-law' 😆😆😆 But, in cuss language, its like saying "bloody"

Another is 'Maa ki Aankh' meaning 'mother's eye' I mean, I dont even know if it classifies as a cuss word but well, it unfortunately does. 😆😆😆

Actually, there ARE worse meaning swear words than these but at my home, there is a rule of "no swearing" These are the ones I can get away with 🤷‍♀️

So, theres "bhenchod" meaning sisterfucker, "chutiya" meaning asshole and "teri maa ki chut" meaning your mothers cunt. I know these, but I have never said it in person 😕

13. Does your country (or family) have any specific superstitions or traditions that might seem strange to outsiders?

Oh yeah, we got a good chunk of them:

A) You should never wash your hair, cut hair or wear black clothes on Thursdays and Saturdays.

B) Never touch the broom with your feet.

C) Similar to @veterveter never pass salt by hand. Oh! And also never spill salt.

These all bring bad luck if done.

D) Also, whistling at night attracts ghosts. 😳

As for traditions, well, we have "muhurat" which is auspicious time and/or day, so, for these things they are used:

1) When you start a new bussiness, are getting married or going to do a "puja" means religious ceremony, a specific date and time is decided, so that it brings in more luck 😊

2) We dont name a baby immediately after its born, firstly its astrology chart is prepared, then the priest reccomends the alphabet by which the child shall be named and then on the 6th day, there is a puja where the child is named.

And just like auspicious time, there is also inauspicious time that occurs for 90 mins, twice, everyday. You just have to be little extra careful during those times, nothing serious.

(So, if I have to leave for somewhere at 9am and that time occurs between 9am to 10.30am, I will leave instead at 8.45am)

22. What makes you proud about your country? What makes you ashamed?

I am proud of my Mother India.

Our motto of 'the world is one' and its acceptance for everyone. India is a place where at every 50km you will find a new culture, new language, new traditions and despite all of that, everyone considers India as their Mother and country.

Okay, as for the ashamed part, yes, there are things which I am NOT happy about but not enough to make me ashamed.
