In response to the 4020 ask. Fun fact i hate racewashing to fix art especially blackwashing being assoiated with racebending. This is exlusive to writing and drawings yall. I dont want to see a non black person paint their skin dark to cosplay as a black character thats just blackface. At least with whitewashing a fictional character to fix i know its bigoted trolls who think a certain adolf is based and not worth arguing.

It also is wild to me people defend racewashing as fixing art. in media at all cause its tokenism. Legit the netflix cleopatra and the new little mermaid is what racewashing to fix art leads to. Its why i hate the representation matter uwu cause thats all the writers will focus on. Making a mascot for dark skinned kids to latch on. It never works btw if its just tokenism. Kids of color aint stupid. Pocs and black folks know when were fed tokenistic crap that can and should be considered racist. Racewashing isnt racebending btw. Racewashing fixing art and i guess fing history with recolors. Racebending is just for fun where you draw a character as a different race and not saying this character being black makes em suoerior to the oroginal. 10. what inspired this character’s creation? I was watching Buffy and spun off of a similar idea where in the show, there's this demon who can bestow people with the powers of a vengeance demon, which made me go oh hey thats like a warlock patron! The concept was from like 2021 when I was both watching critical role daily and watching buffy with Liv so really everything I thought about was Liv, buffy the vampire slayer, and critical role campaign 2.

13. what are some motifs you associate with them? did you intentionally bring in those motifs, or did it happen over time?

Above all else, love. Abandoning home, abandoning self, in the pursuit of love, in the pursuit of *something* more than what currently is emptiness. When love becomes a pursuit of vengeance (uwu). Also the general feywild motifs reflecting in Moxie, that bright pretty colours hide dangerous insides and darkness. These were definitely intentional, and I think in fleshing out certain parts of backstory that I hadn't wholly filled in, I managed to strengthen those motifs even more. (this is so my way with characters. i have a basic outline, and find I can add richer detail the more I get to know them through writing/being them)

40. if you had to remake this character right now, how would you change them?’

I think I would have leaned more into Charlatan background instead of focusing so much on what Moxie was doing before The Horrors. It completely fits what she was up to in her pre-ayla years, and the bonuses from it would have been nice from it. That's one of the parts I didn't fully write out, just a general idea, and built it up more later BECAUSE she was so instantly the queen of white lies. and im like yeah that actually makes perfect sense here.

51. what element of their backstory are you proudest of?

Childhood and how it ties into overall Exandria lore for sure. I was sooo damn pleased with myself from managing to connect a couple different area specific things to Moxie, and how that ties into her family being Like That and her leaving. It hasn't fully come up yet but I personally do enjoy it all for my own sense of place for my character in the world.

59. what’s an element of their philosophy that you disagree with?

Chase Pleasure, Avoid Pain

I'm just better at sitting with and feeling and working through painful things. And in general, avoiding shit constantly is annoying to me. I like to be silly and chaotic, but I'm not chaotic enough to make life decisions and big things based on what's the next feel good thing and how can I avoid the Bad Shit indefinitely. Dealing with the negatives head on is better in the long run.

Chapter 19: Kiwi

“Kaashi!”

Turning to his left, Y/N comes in with her school bag towards him as he takes another sip from his water bottle.

“Oh, hi N/N, what’s up?”

Y/N comes to a stop in front of him, grabbing a paper from her folder and handing it to him.

“Kiyo said he has to take care of his son, so we have a shift on Friday night.”

“Yeah, that’s totally fine, thanks for letting me know.”

“Yeah! Well that’s all, I gotta get home.” Quickly giving him a hug, Y/N turns on her heel, beginning to walk out the exit doors of the gym.

Looking at his feet, Akaashi feels a warm heat form on his face, leading him to place his hands to cover the embarrassment he’s feeling.

It’s just hot it’s just hot it’s just hot it’s just hot-

“Akaashi! The hell you lookin like a burnt ass child for?”

Turning at the voice, Akaashi faces Konoha standing with a hand on his hip, staring at him. Akaashi’s eyes slightly widen, with him shaking his head as to wipe the color off his face.

“Nothin-“

“Aww come on Kaash you can tell me!”

“It’s none of your business.”

“If I find out you’re selling crack without giving me a discount I’m gonna kill you.”

Hearing the door shut behind him, Akaashi tiredly shuffled into the gym, coming out in sweat pants and an old black shirt.

Since it was after practice and they didn’t have school tomorrow, everyone was either going home or going out with their friends.

He looks to the right, seeing his managers dressed up nicer than he was.

“Oi, where are you two going lookin all dolled up and stuff?” Bokuto says, leaning an arm on Akaashi’s shoulder.

“Heading out with Y/N, she just got done with practice so she should be here.” Konoha walks up behind Kaori, resting his sweaty forehead on her shoulder, before she abruptly pushes him off.

“I’ve only seen that girl in jeans or sweats.”

“Still gonna wear jeans, dumbass. You’ll never catch me in a dress unless it’s prom.”

Turning around, Y/N comes in smiling, slightly dressed up like Kaori and Yukie.

“Oh wait, how cold is it I left my sweater in my locker-“

“Uhhh, Kaashi has an extra one if you want.” Akaashi nods, agreeing with Bokuto, and grabs it from his duffel bag, handing it to her while looking at her in the eyes.

“So, where are you guys going looking nice?”

“It’s just jeans man,” Yukie says, beginning to giggle, “we’re gonna just go grab some pizza probably, then go roller blading, we aren’t sure yet.”

Akaashi gives her a nod and a small smile in agreement, “sounds fun.”

Facing Y/N again, he sees that she placed her jacket over his hoodie. Smiling, she snuggles into the hoodie, making Akaashi’s face turn slightly pink.

Bokuto notices this, sharing a look with Konoha, confused eyes shared between them.

“Alright, we should get going.”

The girls stand next to eachother, with Yukie’s hands in her pockets and Kaori holding onto her purse.

Y/N gives Akaashi a quick hug, backing up to be in line with the managers.

“Thanks for a hoodie, Keiji.” She gives him a wink, with the 3 beginning to talk and walk out the gym door.

Akaashi’s face explodes with a red shade, his hand covering his mouth.

“Akaashi~ you good there? Got something to say about our lovely friend? Hm? hMMMMM?” Bokuto pressed on, circling Akaashi whilst popping up randomly in front or behind him.

“Nothing.”

“OH COME ON AKAASHI JUST SPILL IT” Konoha yells, his hands gripping his hair while he paces in front of the boy.

“OKAY OKAY SHE LOOKED PRETTY AND ITS DRIVIN ME CRAZY JUST A BIT ” Keiji reveals after the two boys pressed on, coming closer. Konoha and Bokuto stand up straight, looking at eachother, then back at Akaashi.

Bokuto bonks him on the head, with Konoha creating a loud thud when he hits the floor, then face palming.

“YOU MOTHERFUCKER!”

“YOU BITCH, “it’s none of your business” MY ASS ITS ALL OUR BUSINESS NOW!”

“SOMEONE CALL AN AMBULANCE”

“BOKUTO ITS NOT THAT BIG A DEAL”

Tackling him, both Bokuto and Akaashi ended up on the floor whilst Konoha kept pacing.

Y/N is back to calling him Keiji :)

The boys are used to seeing the girls in sweats or just jeans and a random shirt, but they had nice shirts on, hence the “dressed up”

F TIER:

Mama Robotnik- she is in F because I do not like her

E Tier:

06 Eggman - I’m not a Sonic 06 hater, I actually like Sonic 06 more than most people. but this egg... this egg is scary but not in a good way. he is just ugly because they gave him 4 tits and human eyes :(

ASOTH Eggman- This is a good egg, but he is not a sexy egg, I know I’ll get some flack for this, but there was just a lot of competition. The eggmarket is tough. he is not on E tier because he has a nice tushy.

D Tier:

Sonic the Eggman- This Egg is moderate. he is a furrier egg. but I do not like hair in my eggs. yucky. He reminds me of that hairy egg from the Mandalorian. He’s cute I guess, but not a true egg. not what I want in an eggman.

Mr Tinker - He is an eggnigma. He may have gotten a higher spot on the list if only his fit wasnt so wack. Those are just not his colors. He is a nice guy though. 

Anti Eggman - Twink. He is just too small to be an eggman. thats my only criticism.

Steve Eggman - He’s just Gru’s brother but less attractive.

C Tier:

Satam Eggman- His deep seductive voice sounds almost robotic, it’s cold and echoes, but it still maintained the warmth of a man. He was aloof and cruel, heartless even. He dresses to kill, and his large frame could crush a hedgehog in seconds. He’s a large man, but a strong one. Its unclear from where I’m standing, but I think he may have some robotic augments. Perhaps the reason for his harsh demeanor is because he lost his true heart long ago. The only reason he lost is because he’s dummy thicc and the clap of his ass cheeks keeps alerting Sonic.

B Tier:

Gerald Robotnik- Now, I know he isn’t eggman, but he’s got all the characteristics of an eggman. But god, where do I begin? He’s deeply unhinged and ruthless, an alpha-male who reeks of potent intoxicating pheromones. He’s got a dark aura that I just can’t resist. He literally wanted to nuke the Earth just because his niece. Now, some would call that a red flag, but I call that mysterious and misunderstood. He could step on me, and I’d say thank you.

Classic Egg- This egg is less sexy, but more cute. I want him to hug me, and praise me, and make me feel like everything is going to be okay. He’s warm and soft, and smart, and he has the cutest smile.  uwu

A TIER: 

Before we continue, there is some things we should disclose. This tier was highly contested in our test group. There was fighting, blood was spilled. So... the verdict of which of these eggs should be S tier couldn’t be determined. These Eggs are wild. and we have some strong feelings. 

Jim Carrey Eggman- This one is a no brainer. Jim Carrey is one sexy egg, he’s a complete and utter maniac that exudes sex. The second he was revealed, the internet went wild. What makes him A Tier is that he looks the most conventionally human. He’s a very handsome human, but he’s kind of not a real eggman, so sadly, that prevents him from achieving S tier.

Modern Egg- This is the eggman we are all most familiar with, some would say he is the defacto eggman. And I’d say that spot is well deserved. He’s pretty hot, sure, and he’s pretty smart, but what makes A material? Well, he’s just the perfect Eggman. And he has a very awesome theme song. His mustache is very impressive, and he’s got some fiiiiiiiine legs. I love his two sets of eyewear and don’t think they’re silly. 

Boom Egg- Everything I liked about Modern Egg except now he’s buff. 

Nega Egg- He’s the most tragic of all the eggmen. His backstory brought me to tears, he came from a long line of brilliant scientists, but our Eggman(god bless his heart) has failed so so many times that it tarnished his family’s name for generations. Nega Egg was forced to live in shame, and this shame fueled his hatred towards his egg lineage. It drove him to go to another dimension for a fresh start. His mustache is probably smooth as silk, it simmers in the moonlight like undriven snow. He sports a familiar outfit with a devilish twist. He’s a slick man from the future, if you don’t get the appeal, i’m sorry, I can’t help you.

S TIER:

Now... what we’ve all been waiting for, the eggman to rule them all. congratulations

LORD BOXMAN!- hands down, the sexiest eggman of them all, but sorry ladies, you can’t have him. Lord Boxman is the only openly gay eggman, and he’s got a lovely husband. He’s a flustered dork when he’s around his crush and it’s honestly so cute. I fantasize about him rubbing his long chicken hand down my back like a backscratcher, and the deep intimate sensation it would give me to melt away all the stress of life. Lord Venomous is so lucky to have that. Also We also got to respect a (previously) single dad who loves his kids and is trying his best to run and operate an evil empire all on his own. He’s voiced by the legendary Jim Cummings, his voice is deep and scratchy. He’s 5 foot something and he’s royalty!

this concludes our tier list, no I do not take constructive criticism, because my opinion is correct.

Dabi x reader (with minor x bakugou)

Prompt: During the USJ incident the villains kidnapped you. UA has been on high alert after that incident, metal detectors at gates, students having to check in during breaks on campus, and more. You have been at the villain bar ever since, quirkless thanks to All For One, and with no memory of UA or your life before it. When Dabi started hanging around the bar, he became attached to you, playfully teasing you for being forgetful. Things fall apart when Bakugou is captured during the summer camp training and he gets to see you, his stolen s/o again.

-When you woke up in a wood panel room with no memory you panic and look for a way out

-The door was unlocked so you opened it, found an empty hallway with the staircase at the end, so you go down it

-Its only kurogiri there at the bar, you look towards the door and bolt for it

-Kurogiri terrified you at first

-Kurogiri just teleports you upstairs

-It repeats for about three more times before you come down and hug the wall asking who he is

-“Kurogiri.” he makes a glass of apple juice and puts it on the bar counter. You walk over and take it

-“Are you hungry?” “yeah”

-He starts asking about you, gauging to see what you remember

-He makes you food and keeps talking to you

-He tells you you can’t go outside yet

-You ask him if he knows why you have amnesia and he says you had a mental break of sorts

-Your family left you in their care with no phone number

-Shigaraki comes in, he’s very demanding and childish

-You all get to know each other, you play minecraft with shigaraki, specifically those hunger games ones

-He gets better, calms down and learns how to be more strategic

-You never meet all for one, and shigaraki and kurogiri are careful never to mention him around you

-Enter: dabi

-Shigaraki HATES him lmao. He hates how Cool and Chill he is

-So he saddles dabi with babysitting you, and he lets dabi take you outside

-Dabi keeps a hand on your wrist the whole time, he never lets you out of his sight and he doesn’t let you let go

-You two had never talked outside of introducing yourselves

-You happily thread your hand through his and tug him through the shopping district

-You’re constantly talking to him and wanting to explore so he goes along with it, sticking to the busier parts of the shopping districts to help blend in

-He has on glasses, a beanie, and a face mask so no one can see him

-There are cameras that identify you in the district so UA is alerted. The heroes immediately head out to get you back, the local police are alerted

-Dabi notices that there are more police around, he doesn’t even know what you’re doing at the villain hideout all the time. All he knows is you have amnesia and that you’re quirkless. He immediately withdraws his hand from yours and slings it across your shoulders. He leads you into a shop, “follow my lead, doll.”

-He picks out a dark pair of sunglasses for you, sloppily restyling your hair and picking out a big jacket and a new outfit for you

-He rips the tags off them and says to change and wait outside the dressing rooms. He comes back to get you, giving you a face mask too

-There are police and heroes there in the whole area. Dabi tightens his arm around your shoulder and walks faster. He’s calling kurogiri trying to coordinate a way out.

-The police and heroes are going through the crowd picking certain people removing glasses and masks. 

-The whole area is closed off, there is no way to a private spot for kurogiri to open a portal

-Dabi calls someone else

-And then someone behind you says excuse me

-Dabi’s fingers loosen off your shoulder and his palm starts to hover so he can move his hand if needed

-He slowly turns the both of you around

-Its a kid

-‘You guys dropped this’

-Its a bracelet you bought

-You say thanks and take it back

-The kid blanches. He grabs a piece of his hair and awkwardly scratches it, then throws it to the ground

-Its a purple ball

-Seriously what the fuck

-Dabi panics and moves his hand

-Nothing comes out

-All might is running at you yelling to let go of one of his students

-But you arent his student

-Does he mean the kid in front of you

-Dabi is panicking youre both stuck in place

-And then the floor falls under your feet

-Dabi puts his palm back on your shoulder pressing down to keep you close

-And you fall into the bar hideout, shigaraki pacing and toga, twice, and shuichi all watching you

-Toga is asking about deku, twice comments how uncool it is for dabi to not even say a villain one liner to the heroes and shuichi is grateful you guys are back but thinks dabi is an idiot for not keeping on moving

-It unconsciously puts a target on dabi’s back, the heroes cannot have it confirmed that the masked man who had you was in league with the league of villains

-Twice, toga, and shuichi all take turns hanging out with you

-Twice likes to be dramatic so you guys get screenplays and act out scenes together

-Toga likes to do boy talk and make up and shop online

-Shuichi likes to watch anime. The sword fighting ones that are super philosophical. Kill la kill. Attack on titan. THAT philosophical stuff.

-They go away on missions often but they always come back with stuff, plants, flowers, something from the outside world

-You have not been able to go back out after the shopping district incident

-Dabi realizes from your amnesia you cant read

-He bought you a very cheesy very embarrassing very risque manga

-He teaches you to read, do math and you learn it all very very fast

-Its more remembering than relearning

-He also brings music

-You all have small dance parties together and kurogiri doesn't mind

-Shigaraki is NOT invited he just stands and. Watches. Its unsettling.

-Kurogiri teaches you how to make drinks in a flashy bartender style

-Dabi tests out what you make

-You two typically spend time casually but movie nights with you all is fun

-And then they have a big mission to go on

-He has to go to a forest camping trip to take one of the students

-Hes gone for about three hours before coming back 

-Kurogiri and shigaraki have you go upstairs

-They lock you in

-You can hear angry yelling and then it gets muffled

-You go to sleep for the night

-You wake up from the door being unlocked and yelling

-Dabi pulls your blankets back and you are immediately awake

-A little embarrassed to be caught in your star and rainbow pajamas

-He puts one hand under your chin and makes you look at him

-Toga is behind him saying not to

-Twice is saying that theyre being rude for barging in

-Dabi talks “what do you remember?”

-“I don’t remember anything.”

-He turns to twice and toga “told you everything is fine”

-He looks at you, “remember that outfit from the shopping district? Change into it. We have a guest”

-Its a simple outfit, a big hoodie, casual jeans and a white t shirt with a smiley face heart on it

-You step out of your room and dabi is in his same outfit

-He puts a hand on your shoulder and saunters down the stair with you

-He looks smug

-You come downstairs and there is a boy with spiky blond hair yelling muffled things from behind a steel mask

-His hands are bound too

-You think that this must not be a nice guy

-Shigaraki is hunched over at the bar while twice and toga are laying on the couch

-Spiky haired blond boy looks surprised to see you

-Dabis hand drops to your waist and spiky hair’s eyes follow it

-He looks angry and starts thrashing

-You take a step back but dabi’s hand keeps you in place

-“Are you willing to listen now?”

-Dabi takes a seat in a one person chair and you sit on the armrest

-Shigaraki gives a big long winded speech about everything wrong with society and how heroes are not bettering society but protecting the one thats already in place

-Dabi eventually gives you a tug and sits you in his lap

-Spiky hair has his eyes on you the whole time and he starts yelling again when dabi puts a hand on your knee and rests his chin on top of your head

-You don’t like this kid, he seems violent

-Thats how the first day of bakugo’s kidnapping goes

-Bakugou has to sit and see you his upper classmen crush sit in the lap of a villain and look at him with fear

-You’ve been here this whole time, why haven’t you left?

-Shigaraki wants you two to play this up, wants dabi to pursue you and rile you up in order to help break bakugou’s spirit

-Enter fake dating au

-Becomes real when all might saves you and dabi almost loses you when one for all forcefully opens the portal

-Bakugou is so angry to have you then lose you again

-You and dabi live happily ever after uwu
