Character Building/Backstory

•  What was it specifically about your OC and their skills that caught the attention of Mann Co?

A shooting contest. No, really. Thats it. It was sponsored by Mann Co with the intention of finding a recruit and she did wonderfully. I suppose all those years at her high school’s rifle club paid off. • Does your OC have a particular opinion of Mann Co itself?

Didn’t know about them till she started working for them. Kinda hates them, actually. You’ll understand why further down.

• What mercs does your OC get along with well? Who do they have most in common with? Any best friends? Or…more than that…?  👀

One word. Scout. They get along as good as peanut butter and jelly. They’re both from the east coast, for one, and for two they’re both kinda dumb little idiots. also shes buff and hot so like...She and pyro mingle ok due to them both rlly liking cute frilly things, and she likes soldier as well. She really thinks soldier is funny and awesome as hell, which sometimes causes a lil bit of jealousy in scout. 

• What mercs does your OC NOT get along with? Anyone they particularly hate? Why?

Spy is not the biggest fan of her because of how well she complements scout and kind of encourages his behavior. He sees her as kind of a nuisance. Thats kind of a lot of people’s opinions. Also she does not get along well with sniper because she feels there is a rivalry between them both. He doesn’t really care but she is mad competitive against him and is always trying to prove that she’s a better shot, and also has N O T H I N G in common with him at all and she is unique and special 

• What is it specifically about your OC’s personality that stands out? Many of the mercs have their own (exaggerated) traits that make them , well, them! (Canon examples are like how soldier is obsessed with America, Medics shockingly Hippocratic approach to medicine, etc.)

Idk man she kind of a bimbo. That’s really it hahaha, that was my intention. Self bimb-sert. 

•  Whats an unexpected quality your OC has? A secret hobby or skill or trait that nobody would expect from them?

She’s actually really politically educated and active. She’s also anti-war which is why she doesn’t much like Mann Co. When she discusses this stuff it kinda puts a strain on how well she gets along with sniper, and he tends to call her a hippie, which...she kinda is, honestly. Just doesn’t look or tend to act like one. 

“Gameplay” Questions

• If your oc was in the game, in your opinion what would be the best strategy to play them effectively?

It’s pretty simple really. Tranquilise someone, then wrap back around and shoot them dead with pistol. Or let someone else do it. She is not really a hard offense character, and is kind of a mix of support and offense. 

• What classes/mercs is your oc strong against?

Best used to counter higher attack enemies like heavy or soldier. Tranquilising them can do wonders, haha. 

• What classes/mercs is your oc weak against?

Imo, sniper. I think for her to effectively tranq ppl she’d have to stay a bit still leaving her open for shots. 

• What would you do to make your character balanced, but still fun to play? Basically what weapons and abilities would you limit? Which ones would you highlight?

I would really like to highlight her ability to tranquilise people to slow them down. This means ofc that it does not do a lot of damage, if any. Her modified pistol however does a lot more damage and has a bigger clip size and hits harder than the regular pistol. (and also its cute) 

• Would your OC have a special ability or gameplay element unique to them? (Canon examples include Pyro’s pyrovision, Soldiers ability to rocket jump)

Nope, not exactly. The closest is the fact that all her cheerleading training makes her similarily agile to scout. But of course not the same nor better. 

• Would your OC be effective on the front lines, flanking, ambush, or rear?

Combo of Rear, then front lines.

Post-Christmas Pokemon Thoughts

Well, everyone, as of the time I am writing this, it is officially no longer Christmas day. Pity, but eh. Well, no time to dillydally, let's keep talking about Pokemon Adventures! I had to take a few days off to deal with mental health but I'm back to reading.

NGL I really think I prefer Yellow over Red. Though that might be because she ended up getting more pages and also she's a smol cute bean and moreover her arc was less episodic.

Overall I'd say that the gen 1 stuff is really good. The episode admiteddly suffers from the episode chapters making the pacing feel staggered, as well as the fact that characters besides the central protagonist (Red or Yellow) don't get as much development.  All of the changes and interpretations definitely help to keep the plot interesting though. It's definitely something they could more easily get away with in the gameboy days, when the limits of technology prevented plots from being as fleshed out in the games, so supplementary materials were free to make things up as they went along. It's enjoyable, though obviously despite what people online may say it's definitely still all-ages.

The artstyle is amazing though, it's cutesy beyond belief.

Definitely a good first arc, looking forward to the rest of it!

I would actually point more towards Kaminari being the most probable one to react on screen, since he’s always got something to say in scenes like this one - and in general towards Kami, Baku and Sero being the ones to... confront? Kirishima specifically about this mission, not because I don’t want Mina to be there too! But generally as far as past arcs go Mina seems to be more part of the girls group than anything, and since Tsuyu and Uraraka were there too she might be between the ones reacting to Tsu and Ura more specifically (like she was the one to fawn over the two of them after their first day of internship) while Sero, Baku and Kami were the ones to react on screen to Unbreakable AND the ones Kiri spoke to about his insecurities to begin with... then again, given the flashback I do hope Mina will be proud of him on screen......... aaaahhhhhhhh I guess we won’t know until Horikoshi will finally show us, will we? ;u;

If you’re talking about emojis and not kaomojis then I’m with you on that lmao mostly cause I feel like Bakugou would be a really lazy texter but would at the same time be the type to dislike writing without capitals or proper punctuation and so on, so to avoid having to put actual effort into texting he just answers (when he answers) using one single emoji and thats it. It’s up to his interlocutor to understand what he meant with it. Up until now the only people who get it 100% of the times are Kirishima, Sero and surprisingly Todoroki.

right so like last week we had a few slices of raisin bread from T&T ( our local Asian food supplier in the form of a supermarket eyyy ) and I was like,,, wow ??? dude how great would raisin bread french toast be like wOW !!? I’ve never made french toast before and tbh we’re like rice everyday ™ and honestly the inside of our fridge has never seen cheese or cream or pasta ( ok look I know uncooked pasta doesn’t go in the fridge but I was making a point ) and certain other western-type foods are rare guests ( a tragedy rly because I love that stuff ) bUT ANYWAY !! I was thinking about french toast and going,,, woah,,, woah woAH ??? we might actually have all the ingredients ?? we always have eggs, and… oh, half and half…? aw… we don’t have that— oH but you can make it with milk and butter ??? gasp i actually think we have like 1 stick of frozen butter from waaaay back and I’m sure it’s saved there omg this’ll work. we don’t have nutmeg but… I distinctly remember getting vanilla extract and my mom says we have cinnamon ?? I didn’t even know we had cinnamon !! wow this is going to work imma make it for breakfast tomorrow it will be great !! so cue tomorrow, I wake up earlier to get it ready ( lmao since usually I wake up like 5 mins before transit comes and toss stuff into my backpack and leave ) and,,, and it turns out we I overestimated what we had in our fridge aHAHA,,, what I thought was a stick of butter was actually yeast and there was ?? no sugar ?? I could not find sugar,,, we didn’t have milk either and I was v disappointed in myself bUT !! I still made it using soy milk and brown sugar ( it was super hard I was chiseling it with a spoon ) but luckily I did manage to dig out the vanilla extract + the cinnamon was def there, as were the eggs and salt was around. of course, had to use vegetable oil instead of butter to grease the pan as I’d planned but !! it totally turns out great and was a p good success considering a first attempt hahaha,,, topped it with bananas, crumbled walnut and maple syrup and it was great :^))))))

I had doubt but then i saw the moment where H touch L arm and i was in! I actually became a fan of the music after. I've done everything in reverse with this band! But when i entered the fandom in feb2016 and i was hopping to see it all end like a month later! But hey, still here! And loving it mostly! End it!

1. What kind of highschooler are/were you? I was... the girl who everybody liked because "too pure and nice for this world". I remember once a classmate told me I was the only "lady" in the class and they also chose me as best classmate lol I was like "wtf, I don't talk to anyone but you still choose me, thanks thanks but I don't deserve it because I didn't do anything".

And most of my friends was from another class and they know I'm quiet and "cute" until I have confidence and trust in people and I'm literally the chibi who wants to fight everybody when they call me chibi. ¿? I talk a lot... and I'm super dramatic ahahaha. I was the Ice Drama Queen before Elsa, excuse me.

2. What’s your favourite poem or quote? A line that stuck with you? I have a lot. I'm always using quotes from The Simpsons or Disney movies and basically my sister is the only one who gets it and complete the dialogues if there are dialogues lol

I'm not good at remembering poems so... And I'm not sure if I have a favorite line, because I like too many. But I'll say Annie's "I just want the weak, who do get swept along with the flow, be considered human too" is one of my favorites because I felt it. I consider myself weak too, in the way I interpretate that quote lol And now is in my sidebar, yes.

3. What’s a mundane special talent you have? (Small stuff like being able to make dragon origamis or being good at rhythm games idk) I'm really good at not make any sound when I walk so basically my mom always jumps scared because she "didn't see me coming" or she "didn't feel me / my presence" or whatever you call it. Hours ago she scold me because she saw a reflection in the mirror and when she turned out I was there staring at her lol

4. What would you describe your aesthetic as? Snowy things lol Winter, snow, snowflakes, snowdrops, ice, colors related to this things, etc. I told you, I'm obsessed with them ahaha That's why my friends calls me "The Ice Queen" lol Not because I'm a person with cold heart. (Basically, I always like characters related to ice or crystals so Annie got a point there lmao). I could marry Shirayuki Mizore if I can but I love too many characters and I can't pick only one plus they are fictional *sobs* (Insert another reason of why I didn't watch YOI: because everybody was talking about it and I was jealous because I saw a lot of things related to ice and blue-ish things and I was like NO NO THAT THINGS ARE MINE!!!! *dramatic Tamaki pose*) Hello, I'm super jealous.

5. What do you think are the most important traits a person can have? Kindness. I'm not really good at picking people traits because I know a lot of people with different traits even ones I say like "I don't like it" but I like them anyways lol I'm too weak. I easily love people even if I have a hard time trusting in them x'D

6. What are your favourite scents? Ehh... Vanilla, when you turn off a candle, Colognes for babies lol I actually love the smell of babies and kids ;u; I love kids. I suck at remember the things I like when people asks me the things I like >:c

7. What hobbies or extracurricular activities have you participated in in your life? Any you were particularly good at? When I was young (I'm old already) I tried ballet ¿? I always liked to dance and do presentations in school's aniversaries lol Once for the english class I had to sing Hakuna Matata with two friends and I was Simba. Doesn't have too many lines in that song but my evil friend made me say some random bugs names or things that rythms with Hakuna Matata. The teacher liked it a lot and she MADE US DO THE DAMN PRESENTATION IN FRONT OF OTHER RANDOM CLASSES AND I REMEMBER MY COUSIN TRYING TO HIDE HIMSELF WHEN I WAS IN HIS CLASS AHAHAHAHA.

Everyone is always looking at me like that because I'm always saying and doing dumb things. Not so long ago an anon told me I'm "a boob" and I didn't understand it so I had to google it and I laughed because.. yes. I'm super clumsy and dumb, like.. remember I come from the past, aka january 2017.

OTP things... I don't really call OTP to ships that aren't canon lol My first ship was Usagi with Seiya from Sailor Moon x'D I never liked Mamoru for her and I didn't understand Seiya was actually a girl when I was a child but whatever xd my first ship was a female x female lol And I really love when Seiya teases her calling her Odango... so let's start with a cute nickname. Half.. "I'm being annoying calling you like this" half "but I like it for you".

I also like when person A use person B's appareance for jokes lol //I actually enjoy when people tease me for being short lol but shhhht!//

But I'm a trash for this kisses where is one of them who just... do it and then both are like "MAAAAAHHHH?????!!!" and random reactions while both are red. If they are dramatic, I'd love it more. Like WTF YOU JUST DID??! *hits the other with a bag, book or whatever it has in the hand or close*

The first kiss where they are like staring at each other and kissing again at the next second without anything more are boring lol

10. What aus based on real movies or shows are your favourites? (like disney aus, atla aus, mr and mrs smith aus, etc.) I love Disney AUs because I love Disney but the character must really fit for me to like it lol I also like reencarnation AUs beCAUSE I CRY I MEAN, I REMEMBER THE KDRAMA 'GU FAMILY BOOK' AND I START TO CRY BECAUSE AOKSNHFIDUHUAGDS.

I also like a lot this... when the characters change bodies so basically they have to live in each other and is super funny to see lol //Insert the kdrama Secret Garden. It sounds like I've seen a lot of them but actually not lol//

I'm a trash for the AU where there's a girl hiding her genre and acts as a boy lol MULAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN AND Ouran are my faves, of course.

High School AUs too lol they are like.. too common but I love them. (College ones are meh, tho)

I also like musical AUs but basically they end being like.. Disney AUs because too many songs lol
