I know we talk a lot about keep jumping on boxes, but I'm honestly so grateful for Joe hills' knife theory; a variation on spoon theory that says once you're out of spoons, you can choose to take knives instead in the knowledge that it will hurt later. and the number of times I've told myself 'ok let's take the knives' is so high that I've found it really helps to acknowledge it. And I think this is the first time I've really ever "met" Joehills. I've known he was a member of the server for a long time, and that in the fanart he is a muppet (????), but I've never really seen him or listened to him speak before.

My god, he is WAY MORE casually unhinged than I EVER could have predicted.

And the fact that some of them don't have known accounts they're just lurkers??? HELLO??? What do you mean that there is a small chance that smallishbeans has seen a drawing I made of him and liked it? What do you mean that joehills could have possibly seen my post at some point in time??? It's extremely unlikely but 0.0000001% is still a percentage.

the time Cleo was teaching in primary school and got asked 'have you ever heard of mumbo jumbo, miss' and then having to act like they haven't known him since he was 17

the time etho was out with a friend and the friend's kid went 'omg that's etho' to their dad, and the dad came back like 'why does my kid know you?'

the time that Cleo left their job to be a YouTuber and their whole class was desperately trying to figure out who she was
