the ben 10 mpreg episode is frequently on my mind. it pops up at random intervals.

like the necrofriggian babies just fucked off to the other side of the universe and were mentioned in passing once later on. twice if you count the video games. seems like a significant event, but it's just back to business in the next episode. "save the last dance" is also known as one of the best episodes in the series (if not the best of alien force overall) and not just for the babies. also for the impactful character interactions and relationship development.

also, ben is only 15 years old in alien force. that's almost one baby for every year he's been alive (he has 14 of them). i will never get over that. unforgettable.

Ok, so some of you replied to a post I made a while back about missing Whumptober, and people gave me lots of options for drawing challenges to do in the meantime. There were some great ideas but nothing in particular that jumped out to me.

BUT WHAT IF---

Instead of doing my own personal prompts, I think it would be really fun to draw 1 color drawing each day that corresponds to a scene in an LU fanfic!

So, for example, I would find fics that I've read and like and pick a scene to draw, then post it and tag the writer(if they have tumblr) and link the story!

This way I get to have fun reading and gifting art, writers get more exposure for their fics, and people get recommendations for LU fics they may not have seen!

I could probably do it in July, that way I have time to find 31 fics and pic the scenes. And ALSO get a head start on drawing, cus man, monotone sketches everyday in October was hard, color drawings will be even more time consuming, so I would need to hard core prep.

If I do this, would people be willing to give fic recs of their favorite stories? Granted I would reserve the right to pick and choose which ones I do. I wouldn't want people to feel sad if I didn't do their fic, but regardless, I think it might be a fun idea.

I still don't think Ben did anything wrong during "Duped." He deserves to do normal teenage boy stuff like see a movie on opening day, and he was trying to give himself that while also saving the world AND supporting his girlfriend's tennis match. He didn't spend enough time with his duplicates to realize that they had opposing personalities to their assignments — it's not like he sent his asshole-self to Julie's match on purpose.

Julie groped for her alarmclock, trying to get the steady beep-beeping to shut up. Her head was killing her.

But instead of her alarm clock, her hand hit something warm, that yelped. She pried her eyes open, squinting confusedly at the - admittedly cute - guy she'd apparently just smacked in the face.

This wasn't her room. And she was pretty sure it wasn't his either, given how he was sitting in a chair next to the bed, his head seemingly pillowed on his arms until Julie had so rudely smacked him awake.

The beeping continued, and she looked around.

Oh. Hospital. That was a heart monitor.

"What happened?" she asked.

"So um, you remember how you were about to go on at Open Mic Night at Eats and Beats?" the cute boy asked her.

She nodded. She hadn't even told anyone about it, too worried she would chicken out like she had done for the last three years.

"Well, I was kind of showing off a guitar trick to an audience member and didn't realise you were behind me and um... I-kind-of-brained you-in-the-head-and-knocked-you-unconcious-I'm-so-sorry," the guy blurted out. He looked really, really guilty. "I got you flowers and a get well balloon and a cute plush bunny because they didn't have any bears that said 'Sorry I knocked you out' so..."

Julie blinked at him. Maybe it was the concussion, or maybe it was that he was very cute... or maybe it was the early morning light streaming through the windows. "You stayed by a stranger's bedside all night?" she asked. The boy stopped rambling, then nodded.

"Well, since I kind of just smacked you, we're even," Julie decided. "Though maybe you can buy me some breakfast when I get out of here."

The boy's smile was hesitant, and relieved, and beautiful. "Deal. I'm Luke."

"Julie."

I'd like to think that Dandy in their scarecrow costume actually seems to attract crows instead of "scare" them.

The whole time they're in their getup, a crow or a few follow and linger around them. At first startling Dandy at the begining of their Halloween celebration and eventually they just sort of get used to them.

SO. Over a year ago in July I was tagged by @arrow90-quiver on this picrew, a time so long that the post on which I was tagged no longer exists and I could only locate a version of it through my email because I had email notifications on for tags and thus a full copy of the post in my email. I know it is VERY LATE, but last year I convinced myself that I could not post this without doing art for it, and by now I've done a lot of art for it at various points. So I'm still posting this I'msososorry

In addition to Balthazar and Carmen, I made my other two Kingmaker characters- my Varnhold's Lot general Xinyue and my good run baroness Teliah. Teliah is a nervous wreck of an NG halfling druid and she is driven by twitchy prey animal instinct in everything. Xinyue is a CG human magus and she is like a himbo for girls. No one is as cringe or fail as her, or as oblivious to it. She once failed so many Athletics checks to climb a cliff in a row (falling on her face every time) that I finally gave up and decided to split the party for that half of the map and leave her down there. What a woman. It's endearing to me, I can't help but root for her

With all the Missing Numbers Doodles popping up today, I finally found it in me to actually doodle and not care about how it looked. Anyways—

Here is Aster’s Halloween Costume! I didn’t color it, but Aster is Little Red Riding Hood and Del is the Werewolf. He’s not trick-or-treating, by the way—he’s just handing out king-sized chocolate bars to everyone he passes while walking around!

It’s not much- Just a goofy little thing to celebrate the holiday. Happy Halloween, everyone!
