Suga wasn't paying attention, but he sure as fuck was now. He watched with a slack jaw as Daichi stood and walked to the back, shooting him a friendly smile and plopping down next to him in a chair.

The universe was so kind today.

"I'm Daichi, I don't believe we've met before," he smiled, leaning his arms on the table and looking over at Suga. Suga tried very hard not to stutter. "I'm Sugawara, but Suga is fine. Nice to meet you."

While Daichi insisted that everyone he met called him his first name, claiming everyone was his friend, Sugawara decided he was not friendly enough to do that. A nickname would have to do.

Daichi was the definition of a popular guy. He was sweet and smiled at literally everyone with all his teeth. He was the kind of guy to throw his jacket in a puddle so his date wouldn't have to walk in the water. Suga could not say the same for himself, but he sure as hell could appreciate it.

Daichi moved his focus back to the professor, who started to explain the project. Suga kept his attention firmly on Daichi's muscular arms that leaned on the table, like always. Jimin wanted to tell his story of when he was going through a hard time, and he wanted to do it in korean, promoting more in Korea, with songs that, in the end, only him and people close to him know the meaning. Yet, he did AMAZING and made history (is still making). It seems to me that the #1 on hot100 was unexpected to the company and even jm, but yet they did provided to us 2 versions of Like Crazy, one of them being an eng. ver, and promoted at Jimmy Fallon... So maybe they still hoped that the song would do well internationally? (pdogg tho... he just KNEW face would be massive and destroy kpop). But Jungkook... i think that, for a long time now, he aims to achieve western recognition, way more than jm, and thats ok. So Seven obviously is a song to the US market, and all of us know that. The song is in english, is very pop, written and produced by an american guy that is responsable to other huge hits. It is made to be stuck in our heads, not to make us think about deep things. It is breaking and will break so many records just like LC, but the difference is that the success is THE GOAL (remember all of that Scooter posts on his ig?). Jimin wanted to tell his truth with Face, Jk wants to be closer to being a big pop star with Seven. So, of course Seven would get a different type of promotion.

OK SO that's actually one of my fave ones (jun as suga) and it was mainly because of things furudate said about suga like outside the mangas, that he loves spicy food, bad puns and they're both geminis LMAO but also the fact that suga is willing to sacrifice his spot on the team just so that the team can go further i feel like that's something jun might do as well like idk if sacrifice is the right word for him but he's willing to let others have the spotlight because he wants what's best for everyone and not just him. also the Little Shit energy that both radiate (in the best way possible) and also the way both of them take care of the people that they love, it's not always with words but rather actions that sometimes might go unnoticed, they're both the caring type at the end and a very similar one for me

Summery: 1st day of the training camp

When we came back for the longer training camp I was much more relaxed. Last time it was only one night but just a few weeks later and were back. Everyone’s been starting to try new things, I think last training camp had everyone realizing we don’t match up at all. Iv been working with Noya a bit more on receiving and everything a libero does as well as working with Tanaka on spiking. But the most interesting thing Iv been doing is helping Kagayama out, he’s working on a new kind of set and asked me if I would throw for him one day after practice, I was hanging back a bit myself just not wanting to leave the gym and so I decided to help him out. I’m seeing a new side to him I didn’t know, I’m used to seeing him as the perfect setter like he could do anything, but seeing him struggling and frustrated is new. The day before we left for training camp we were practicing his set and he got angrier then I had ever seen him, he threw the ball and shouted.

“Ahhhhhh! Why can’t I get it!”

I’m immediately on the ground trying to figure out what to do to help calm him down, but the only thing I can think of that he likes is volleyball. Sooo

“Kageyama!” He pauses to look at me, “umm I was wondering if you wanted to take a break from your set and maybe help me with mine instead.” I guess that got him to pause since he was now just looking at me, “is just Iv been wanting to work on it for a while now but it’s just, your so good at it and I just wanted to ask for some pointers, and it just seems like you could use a break so.” His breathing has started to even out a bit more, he looks a bit caught off guard.

“Ughh yeah I can do that.” So for the next half hour we worked ok my set, I made sure to praise and complement him on his set to make sure he knew how talented he was, I’m sure working so hard on a set and not being able to get it is really frustrating. After a while we were both tired so we moved to sit down drinking our water in silence.

“Thank you for helping me out, and you know for calming me down.” His voice got quieter as the sentence went on but I understood what he was getting at.

“It’s all good kageyama. I bet it’s frustrating.” He looks over at me and we make eye contact, it’s nice.

“Iv always been able to get it, and I just haven’t had to do something new like that in a while.”

“I know it’s frustrating, and I know I don’t know a lot about volleyball but even I know your one of the most talented players, you’ll get it, it’s just going to take a bit of time.”

“Thanks (Y/N)”

I smile over at him happy I could help in anyway, he pulls out his phone to check the time, “holy shit it’s late.” I look over at his phone and realize it’s 12:30 already!

“Oh wow.” Kagayama looks over at me and we start laughing, both realizing how wild it is that we stayed here for that long, “oh my god our buss to head to training camp is going to be here is like 4 hours!” Kagayama starts laughing louder.

“Holy shut we should head home huh?!” Both of us calm down our giggles before moving to walk home, we walk mostly together till we half to part ways, “well I’ll see you in a few hours Kags.”

He smiles at me a little “yeah I’ll see you in a few hours.” And with that we split ways.

It’s before the sun comes up that we have to be at the busses so naturally everyone is very tired. I meet Tsuki and Yams there but once Kagayama shows up I move over to him, he’s looking through his bag and so I ask “making sure you packed everything?” He look up startled but his gaze softens when he sees it’s me, “yeah after how late we got home last night I didn’t really have time to pack properly.” I giggle at him, “lucky I pack like a week in advance.” He chuckles “maybe I should start doing that to huh.” Coach gives a little speech and tells us all to get on the bus, I was originally planning on sitting wish Tsuki and Yams but they ended up sitting together and Kags asked if I wanted to sit with him so that’s what I did. Not long into the drive I ended up falling asleep with my head on Kagayamas shoulder, and he fell asleep with his on my head. But we were rudely awoken by Daichi “come on idiots were here.” I know I have a massive blush in my face so I get up and move to get off the bus quickly, I hear Daichi chuckle at us but ignore it and move quickly, one off the bus I move to find Tsuki and Yams, “so I see you’ve become friends with the king?” Tsuki says skeptically, “oh shut it Tsuki.” Yams laughs at us as we see Nekoma come out to greet us.

I walk over to where Kenma is talking to Hinata excited to see him again since we talked a bit at the last training camp and he seems super cool, “hey Kenma!” He looks away from Hinata and smiles at me “hey (Y/N), I was just talking to Hinata about the camp.”

“Oh yeah! It’s in a different place, do you know why?” Kenma chuckles at that question “yeah it’s a bigger space and a bit cooler here, but there’s a lot of bugs.”

“Fuck I should have brought bug spray.”

“It’s ok you can use mine if you wanna,” he says smiling a bit.

“Are you sure that would be ok?”

“Yeah I don’t mind!”

“Thanks Kennma.” I smile at him but the moment is cut short by a super tall guy yelling over at Hinata “hey did you grow taller yet?!” The two start bickering and I give Kenma a surprised look,

“that’s Lev, he’s the new kid for us.”

I giggle at the distressed look he gets looking over at the tall kid.

“I’m guessing he’s...a lot.”

“How’d you know?”

“I mean he did interrupt our conversation by yelling at Hinata about his height.” Kenma laughs at that.

“So (Y/N) you play any video games?” Me and Kenma talked the entire walk to Karasanos room, finding we have quite a bit in common, from our love of the same video games to our inability to sleep most nights. He’s nice to talk to, his calm and quiet tone is relaxing to listen to and his more subtle demeanor is cute.

We all put our bags in the room and got ready for our first game today. I didn’t play in the first few, but after a couple they switched me into the libero spot for a while and then I played middle blocker. We aren’t doing too good tho, haven’t won a single game, and after the 8th time doing the run for the loosing team I think I’m gunna die. When the end of the day came around we all collapsed after our last run.

“Ughhh I don’t think I can breath” I hear tanaka yell.

“We lost every game, how’d we lose every game.” Suga asked

We looked into the gym to watch the one game that’s still going, we are nowhere near that level. Daichi sits up and says he’s going to work on the synchronized attack, so everyone started to scatter.

I look over and see Tsuki walking away from the gym most of our team was using and Yams yells over at him “you aren’t going to practice Tsuki?” Tsuki turns around “no, we practice enough already.” And starts walking away, I knew Yams was probably itching to go practice his serve so I tell him, “go, I’ll follow the giraffe.” He smiles gratefully at me and I starts chasing after the blond boy.

“Tsuki wait up!” He doesn’t turn around so I start running faster till I catch up with him. “ughhh why are your legs so long!”

“There not that long yours are just short.”

We pause for a moment, it’s awkward. Me and Tsuki have never had an awkward moment, I don’t like it.

“Aren’t you going to practice?”

“No, we do that enough, everyday for hours we practice, I’m done for the night.”

I’m so lost on what to do at this point, I want him to come practice but I can’t force him too,

“Hey glasses kid,” I hear a voice say and turn around Tsuki stopping in his place, “oh and (Y/N)” it’s Kuroo from Nekoma.

“You guys wanna come practice with us? We could use another blocker!” I look over to Tsuki hopefully, maybe this will be the opportunity to get him motivated. Tsuki looks up and with the fakest smile on his face he says “sorry, I’m all done for the night.”

Kuroo and one of the other guys I think from Fukurodani are both appalled by his response,

“You know he may not look it but he’s one of the top 5 aces is Japan.”

The owl looking guy stands up taller and puffs out his chest looking proud. It’s cute!

“Yeah I think he’s still upset he’s not in the top 3 anymore.” I chuckle, there fun, you can tell they all joke around a lot.

“Well I’m in.” I say walking up to the gym and yelling back at Tsuki “don’t make me do this alone.” The three others stay in the door continuing to try and convince Tsuki to join.

I’m walking through but jump when I her “oh hi” from the floor, looking down it’s the tall kid who was talking to Hinata earlier. He looks like a baby dear before it can walk!

“What happened to you?”

“Kuroo did.” I laugh back at him. He sits up more going over to sit agains the wall and I move to sit next you him.

“Your a first year right? How long have you been playing?” A guy like him is clearly a powerhouse, I assume he’s been playing for years.

“Oh I just started!” He says with a goofy grin on his face,

“You just started!!”

“Hey! How long have you been playing!” He says in an amusing accusatory tone

“Well, I kinda just started too!”

“Haha were tied.” I smile over at him, he looks kinda intimidating but he certainly doesn’t act it as he giggles at our interaction. I think back to when I first saw him earlier he was with Kennma, I wonder where he is?

“Hey your on the team with Kennma right, I just talked to him earlier today and haven’t seen him around much since?”

“Oh Kennma?” I hear Kuroo yell jogging over to us “he went to go play some video games, he’s not really the type that needs to practice, nor do I think we could get him too!” He chuckles.

“Oh that reminds me! Did you get Tsuki to join?”

Kuroo gets a cocky smile on his face looking over his shoulder to see Tsuki looking angry. I get up but before I Kuroo I say “great, you made our tall guy with glasses angry.” I laugh at him sarcastically, he laughs back loudly and we go to start our first practice game of many.

Karasuno:

Daichi: he snores like a dad I’m sorry, you can’t get a full night’s sleep when he snores in your ear like that. Stiff cuddler - you see the way he lies. He’s like a log

Suga: doesn’t snore but he whispers in his sleep, you have no idea what he’s saying because it’s very soft. He smells nice so his pillow always smells astronomically good. Cradles you like a baby if you have trouble sleeping. Wakes you up with tickles

Asahi: a soft snorer but he does that thing where he breathes in and chokes on his spit and ends up sputtering everywhere 😭 Latches onto your arm and his hair always gets in his way somehow

Tanaka: he grumbles?? like a bear?? Kind of like talking in his sleep but it’s really aggressive for some reason?? His bedsheets haven’t been washed in years

Nishinoya: you can’t even find his bed because it is so covered in clothes and other rubbish. He has to be a sleepwalker, come on. You’ll find him curled up in one of the kitchen cabinets in the morning

Ennoshita: loves setting the atmosphere with scented candles before blowing them out to go to sleep to the nice smell (has definitely forgotten to blow them out and almost started a house fire) Good cuddles, soft, very nice 👍

Kageyama: sleeps with his back turned to you and falls asleep as soon as his head hits the pillow. He just says “goodnight” rolls over and “😑” Wakes up way too early for practise or to go for a run

Hinata: has a smile on his face when he sleeps!! vv cute!! Curls into the tiniest ball too!! vv tiny!! You have to be the big spoon, I don’t make the rules. Probably hugs his pillow or a volleyball

Yamaguchi: bright red if you’re sharing the bed with him 🥺 probably doesn’t sleep for ages because he’s so nervous. I don’t know why but I feel that he needs to have like a hot chocolate or tea before bed

Tsukishima: sleeps with his headphones on and listens to music. Either that or he needs white noise. Sleeps like a pole, the only way you are getting cuddles is if you hug him 💀

Nekoma:

Kuroo: we all know he sleeps on his stomach with his head squished between two pillows. Don’t know how he breathes but ok. Latches you to him with one arm and strokes your hair. Ceo of breakfast in bed the next morning, with his cat/s of course 

Kenma: he doesn’t sleep

Lev: your blanket is his now 🙃 and his legs get in the way, you might even get kicked in the face. Other than that, I feel like he’s a really pretty sleeper. The blankets all are a mess and his limbs are everywhere but his face is really pretty

Yaku: finds it hard to sleep because he’s so stressed because of Lev. Needs warm milk to fall asleep and the conditions need to be just right. Help him meditate a bit and relax him then he’ll give you some nice cuddles

Yamamoto: just like Tanaka he grumbles in his sleep and has really crusty sheets. He doesn’t cuddle you, you’d have to fight his waifu body pillow to earn cuddle rights and establish dominance

Aoba Johsai:

Oikawa: fakes snoring softly because he likes you’ll find it cute, it’s annoying. It used to be that overdramatic whistling exhale but now its real. Immaculate cuddler tho, definitely gives you a shirt of his to wear to bed

Iwaizumi: he sweats so much in his sleep... it’s gross. Mucks around with the temperature of the ac way too much because he gets too hot. Then he gets too cold, you get it. Strong arms to cuddle with, only if he used them

Matsukawa: definitely snores, but not as dad-like like Daichi. Is the type to stick one leg out of the covers to keep his body temperature just right. That leg is used to hug yours when you two cuddle

Hanamaki: sleeps naked,, kind of uncomfy if you’re in there as well. Luckily he sleeps fairly still so that he isn’t flinging his stuff all over you if you get what a mean 😬

Kyotani: you’d think he’d be another growler, but he’s dead silent. If you didn’t sleep with your head on his chest to hear his heartbeat you’d think he was dead. Also a pretty sleeper, idky but I think he’s pretty 👉👈

Fukurodani:

Bokuto: it’s canon that this baby sleeps with the biggest smile on his face (like owl father like crow son) Hoots in his sleep!!! Inhales deeply and exhales like “hoooot~”. Biggest cuddle bug, please hold him close to your chest

Akaashi: ceo of pretty sleepers right here. Always reads before bed and sometimes gets lost in the pages that you fall asleep on his lap. That’s when he turns off the lamp. Loves playing with your hair or having you play with his

Konoha: keeps his window open to sleep, he likes the natural breeze. I reckon he’d get a little annoyed if you were a clingy sleeper because he likes his own space

Shiratorizawa:

Ushijima: canon that he sleeps with a volleyball on his bed. Definitely sleeps like a brick wall (to match his personality) but anyways. Thinks that bed is for sleeping, doesn't get why you want to cuddle him

Tendo: sleeps with his eyes open- I’m kidding that’d be terrifying. Sleeps with Pokemon plushies like the cutie he is 🥺 Hugs you with all his might the entire night, the plushies between you, arghhh he’s so cute. Please tell him he’s beautiful before he falls asleep, he’ll be in such a good mood the next day

Semi: sleeping playlists, one for every night of the week. Plays it all night and has his morning one queued up for you to wake up to. Also a very pretty sleeper with the best smelling sheets

Goshiki: restless sleep-talker. Rolls about, snores - when he’s not snoring he’s monologuing whatever is in his dream. Tiny spoon, not little spoon, tiny spoon, hug him

Inarizaki:

Atsumu: menace. Literally argues with Osamu in his sleep, even acts it out. Blanket stealer, but has to dramatically tug it off you to emphasise his argument you’re hearing every word of 🙄 Genuinely doesn’t know that he does it

Osamu: as quiet and brilliant of a sleeper he is, with the softest cuddles, the best part is how he wakes you up. Soft kisses, soft sunlight, and his cooking. Definitely insists that you wear one of his jumpers to bed

Aran: perfect man, soft as a teddy bear. Bit of a snorer though, but is trying to fix it because he thinks it bothers you. Like I said: perfect man. Big strong arms to hold you in

Suna: enjoys cuddles the most I reckon, he finds it comforting. A spinet sleeper also, but his breathing pattern is really nice to fall asleep to. instead of a pretty sleeper, he somehow is a hot sleeper

Kita: because of how much he values the process, his bed is so neat and perfect. The type to flip his pillow to the cold side. Plays a rainy-day podcast, and has ambient lighting. So relaxing to share a bed with, honestly

Date Tech:

Aone: soft boy, teddy bear. Very awkward at first but be patient with him please😇. Large bed for a large boy, plenty of space. But he tends to stay in one place holding you so softly like he could break you

Koganegawa: he’s such an inviting sleeper, I can’t describe it. He looks so cozy and happy that you just want to join him, ya know? Talks in his sleep too, but he says stuff like “can I be your friend?” and “you’re so cool”

Other Teams:

Sakusa: his bed is perfect, clean sheets every single night, especially if you’re sharing with him. Fifty-step skincare routine he does before bed. Let’s say he’s comfortable enough to cuddle you, he cradles the back of your head. Also loves to sleep on your chest and have you rake your nails along his spine 🙈

Terushima: another hot sleeper, great cuddles too. I feel that he parties a lot so he doesn’t sleep until 2 or 3 am when he’s not because he’s ruined his sleep schedule 

Hoshiumi: aggressive cuddler. Will hug you so tight. Sleeps halfway down the bed in a little ball surrounded by pillows. Coos like a bird, but he does that aggressively too

I’m only doing one or two fics per ship (which in hindsight is KILLING me so I’m just putting the first fics I find and am like I really liked that one LOL) because I wanted to do a shorter fic rec list (tho watch this become super long LOL). I also may or may not be procrastinating finishing a couple other long posts, so there’s that hehe. For the (kinda but not really) public consensus for best fics per ship (by kudo count) check out some of my other posts. Also I’m putting some ships I don’t actually read much of (OOPS LOL) so if you think that there’s a fic that fits my type (if I even have a consistent type) better, pls tell me LOL. The Loyalty of a Traitor by DeathBelle (E) 76.9k // ok so does me liking this fic make me basic cause I feel basic LOL. I really love mafia fics, and the way the story line developed was SO good, like IN LOVE with this story. This is a fic where you should read WARNINGS, TAGS, and SUMMARY before diving in, but if the length scares you, don’t be. It’s so easy to fall in and get lost in the writing!

the courtship ritual of the hercules beetle by kittebasu (chanyeol) (T) 66.3k // again, basic? Probably LOL but it’s good so I have no shame ;) Again, pls don’t let the word count scare you (cause it scared me LOL), you get really into it after like 2 paragraphs, so just make sure you have enough time to finish hehe.

KuroKen:

Thicker Than Blood by kylar (M) 91.4k // are you surprised that there is another mafia one? You really shouldn’t be LOL. Anyway, I’ll just be here pushing my mafia fanfic agenda while you read this monster of a fic hehe :) Definitely read WARNINGS, TAGS, and SUMMARY because there is some very sensitive topics involved! I also adore the oibokuroo friendship headcannon, so more reasons to read, right?

Liked, Commented and Subscribed by Royal Society of Pandas (Abarcelos) (T) 45.7k // this fic is SO funny omg. I read it and I had to stop so many times just to laugh because I could not stop sometimes LOL. However, there IS angst towards the end, it gets resolved, but it’s still there... But honestly, it just adds such depth and flavor to the fic, so pls read it!

BokuAka:

bang! now we're even by Authoress (M) 11.9k // so I’ll be honest, I don’t read a lot of BokuAka (...oops?) and so I wouldn’t consider myself as the best person to be recommending fics for this ship (in general too LOL).... ANyway, I love myself some good spy AUs (was gonna put that IwaOi spy AU but the LIMIT), and Akaashi in a dress? Like the tags might state, what more do you need? The characters are done beautifully, and the story development is SO good, so I give you all my humble BokuAka rec.

Crisis Converted by valiantarmor (M) 60k // man do I really love fighting in my fics LOL. This was super good and the plot itself kept me really engaged (what a twist omg). It does talk a bit about mental health issues, but it’s done so well, and they really did this AU justice!

DaiSuga:

How to Manage by SuggestiveScribe (E) 39.3k // ok so yea yea we established, I’m basic, BUT can you blame me? This might’ve been one of the first DaiSuga’s I’ve read and I have no regrets. Literally, this fic series is one of my favorites, so OF COURSE I had to add it somewhere :D Honestly, I don’t even think you need to read the first one to understand what’s going on, but I would just cause it has some funny DaiSuga moments too ;) This is explicit for PWP, so proceed with caution~~

Burden of Blame by DeathBelle (E) 91.2k // ummmm, haha what, another mafia AU? Me, predictable? Noooo, never..... Anyway, this one was so freakin’ good like, love it so much! It’s one of my favorite mafia AU fics, and I love the story line progression. Poor Atsumu being dragged into this mess, but it’s okay because THEY are IN LOVE. Honestly, this fic is Atsumu best boy like he is the best boy. BEST BOY.

Notte Stellata by awkwardedgeworth (T) 20.9k // I ignored all of the other fics I LOVE in this ship (like the pain I’m in rn), but I love this fic with my whole heart. Like I have reread this fic multiple multiple times because I love it so much (tho I might’ve skipped the angst a couple of times cause I didn’t want the pain okay?). I keep coming back, and the second fic in this series is SO funny and cute and I love it here. Please read it, it’s so FREAKING good, angst and ALL.

KyouHaba:

Team Mom by All_My_Characters_Are_Dead (T) 2.7k // so as I was going through this tag (because that’s what I do LOL), I remembered this fic and I love it. Like yes Yahaba is the fear factor and yes Kyoutani is the DAD. I really like the team dynamics in this one, and the first years make me laugh pls.

Camellias by kiyala (T) 1.9k // IK you’re all like, you’re missing such great fics, like no I’m not I just made myself hate myself by limiting fics to two per,,, I love this fic and when I starting looking for this ship, it was the first one I thought of hehe. I really love magic and their interactions are so cute and the PLANTS ARE DOING THE MOST. Pls read both in the series, cause domestic KyouHaba is best KyouHaba ngl LOL. I love the plants, and if you read the second one, someone tell the trees to stop bullying Yahaba.

MatsuHana:

This gets annoying fast, Makki by Ink_stained_quills (G) 2.3k // IM IN LOVE WITH THIS FIC PLS I COULD NOT STOP CRYING TEARS OF LAUGHTER. This AU needs more fics PLEASE. It was SO freakin’ funny and the other teams KILLED ME. Like how they all approached the problem differently and how some of them (KUROO) asked for help LOL. Please this is so freaking funny go read it.

boiled frogs by reginagalaxia (E) 91.5k // I told myself I was gonna put my most angsty fics on another post (which I will for my other favorite MatsuHana angst fic which I love), but this fic. Omg I saw it and I was like I have to. Literally I have to. I hate angst, but read it. It, the, plot, omg, I jjfnsfknalkjdnf ljksan. Like I’m not sure you understand. This fic. asjfjfsadnldjb. im just gonna start off with my minimal gender + sexuality hcs bc those are the easiest to explain lmao

i'm sorry but kageyama is mega gay. like super gay. he's literally one of those "i've just never had time for girlfriends, ____ is more important" dudes like cmon

meanwhile i go with the (somewhat) majority and say hinata is bisexual, though i dont think he uses labels (half because he doesn't think they matter, half because he knows nothing about lgbtq terms lmao)

he just seems like the type where you show him a picture of a cute girl and he goes "oooo pretty!!!" and then you show him a picture of a cute boy and he goes "oooo pretty!!!" and you have to do a double take because you didn't know he liked men

kenma gives asexual vibes i can't totally explain it he just does

ok anyways onto general hcs

the miya twins totally grew up with a bunk bed and would purposefully move around a bunch so the bed squeaked and it would keep the other awake

oh btw on the topic of sleeping; hinata's a hundred percent a starfish sleeper. at the training camp he'd wake up completely turned around on the floor on his stomach

tsukishima is a god at tetris. like absolutely a legend. he's literally one of those japanese players you always find on the leaderboard legit

kageyama doesn't play video games (this is just canon) but he does commonly play one. its called animal crossing baby

hinata visits his island all the time and sends him letters even though they could just text

speaking of texting; kageyama, sakusa, tsukishima, and osamu are the dryest dry texters in the history of texting. you could tell them they just got kicked off the volleyball team and they'd still reply "Ok."

bokuto has "i used to eat small objects as a toddler so now i'm basically 36% plastic" energy

akaashi probably reads classic literature in his spare time like a LOSER

that or those really depressing mangas that start with true love and end with somebody dying tragically

suga has definitely illegally set off fireworks at least ONCE in his life

yamaguchi still sleeps with stuffed animals specifically a 4 ft polar bear named pogo he had since he was 5 because one again he's just got that vibe

he hides it in his closet when company comes over tho. the only people who know are tsukishima and yachi (tsukki because he was there when yamaguchi was a kid, yachi because the bear accidentally fell out when she was there)

yachi, hinata, and kageyama are all besties sorry i dont make the rules

oikawa has probably worn makeup in public before (not like heavy heavy makeup tho just mainly like eye makeup)

on the subject of makeup stuff kageyama probably gets his nails painted by yachi sometimes bc he saw her wearing it and thought it would help them look better than he was already trying to make them

kita plays a game with atsumu and osamu where whoever starts a fight with the other gets a point. whoever has the least points gets free food on him at the end of the week
