I got a book about sewing and mending for Christmas, and I've been using it today to try darning my socks for the first time.

Mr. Fell - I’d like to ask you a question, sir, but as I am a bit chagrined to be asking it, I must do so anonymously. Sir, is it improper to pray to angels?

I was raised in a religious tradition that encourages praying to saints and other “intercessors”, as that’s considered a way to get additional weight added to one’s prayers on their way to the Almighty. And I notice that the Archangel Michael is often revered as a saint, and so must also be the recipient of prayers.

Additionally, we were taught that the Almighty is busy, very busy, with far loftier things than we can comprehend. We were discouraged from thinking that we should interrupt.

As a result of these two factors, I often find myself hesitant to pray to the Highest power. I feel the need to have a…a middle-man, as it were. Someone who might not be irritated at my small, mortal concerns.

I’m sure you can read between the lines, sir, and know that I am asking if it is alright to pray to you, or to any angel.

I had to think about this before replying. The world is full of different beliefs and different ways of connecting with the Higher Power, as it were. And I am just one angel. Lowly of rank and — for most people — a fiction. To give you an answer that has meaning but that doesn't presume an authority that isn't mine is a fine line to walk.

But I'll try.

The God of your understanding is big. Vast in a way that is beyond even the most inspired physicist's comprehension.

There is room in that vastness for all the business of the universe, from the crash of galactic tides to the drift of a single protozoon. Your prayers and concerns are neither small nor inconvenient. You are the Almighty's treasured Creation, and you are heard, whether you shout your prayer from a mountain top or whisper it in your innermost heart.

That being said, if you find you're more comfortable asking for angels to intercede on your behalf, there's nothing wrong with that, so long as you pray through us, but not to us. We love you and we'll add our voices to yours. But it’s important that you know that we exert no influence and the answers you receive are not ours.

And sometimes the answer is 'no’.

Keep a hopeful heart and ask for whatever sustains and comforts you.

I hope you hear ‘yes’ more often than ‘no’.

Okay so the line "When does a comet become a meteor?" is a pretty dope lyric, but it is a question with an answer.

I think.

This is all going to be pulled from what I can remember from my high school astronomy class, no googling*.

But comets are basically dirty snow/ice balls that normally stay in the Oort cloud out past the Kipler belt (where Pluto is), and they orbit the sun with incredibly elliptical orbits, so most of the time they're super far away, but sometimes, when we can see them, they come in close to the sun and it's heat makes them melt/sublimate*/fall apart which is what the tails are, and since ice is super reflective, we can see them.

Meteors are bits of space rocks that enter Earth's atmosphere. We can see them as shooting stars and during meteor showers because we can see the light created as they burn up in Earth's atmosphere. Slight tangent, but they become Meteorites if they don't completely burn up and some solid bit of them actually reaches Earth's surface.

So to answer the question: "When does a comet become a meteor?" when/if it enters Earth's atmosphere.

*I googled this word because it was bothering me that I couldn't remember it.

Mizumi on youtube

I found a bunch of old videos/comment section mizumi was a part of 11-9 years ago. One is an AMV (anime music video) collaboration with someone, and the other is her featuring in 4 videos from a person's Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask's playthrough.

(DISCLAIMER: DON'T GO AND HARASS THESE PEOPLE. THESE VIDEOS ARE A DECADE OLD AND IT'S HIGHLY LIKELY THAT THESE PEOPLE AREN'T EVEN FRIENDS WITH MIZUMI ANYMORE. HARASSING INNOCENTS DO NOTHING TO HELP, AND WILL ONLY MAKE THINGS WORSE. Thank you)

The existence of these comments/collabs by themselves proves... nothing, really. The content of them doesn't say anything about mizumi's character (not that I'd know, I don't speak German well enough to fully translate everything she says), and, even if they DID say something important, it's from a decade ago, so what value would it hold in comparison to mizumi's actions now?

I'd be lying if I didn't admit, however, that I'm at least a bit curious as to the contents of the Zelda playthrough are. Google translate can give me a rough idea of what her comments say, but not the whole video. If anyone out there speaks German, and can help me, that would be very much appreciated.

I'm also a bit confused about this specific screenshot from the second person's channel:

"Do you like AMV's? Check her channel, too", but there's no videos at all. Completely empty. Not even any playlists, nothing. This suggests Mizumi could've unlisted/privated/deleted these "amv's" sometime between 11 years ago, and today (so, there's no real way to narrow it down). I'll have to go back through her history to try and find any mention of amv's, or featuring in a zelda playthrough, or anything. This will probably take a while, so be patient while I do so.

This post doesn't really accomplish or share anything noteworthy. It doesn't expose/shed light on the truly nasty, deplorable side of mizumi as a person, all it shows is that, yeah, mizumi used to make amv's with someone and was in a zelda majora's mask video. Big deal, so what?

BUT! What this post, and what this whole blog sets out to do, is not just to expose/call out mizumi, but to archive her actions over the course of her internet identity, since she makes it a hobby to delete anything and everything from her past without a care in the world.

So yeah, I'll continue to try and find more context behind these images. Because who knows, my search could lead me to find something important; something I never would've been able to find if I hadn't turned my head to look in that direction.

Welp. Seems to be that time again.

Despite budgeting very carefully for my much-needed counter replacement this past week, there were unexpected costs when we discovered damage to the plumbing under the sink

A hypothetical of what might happen if Ryestalker met Honeyspring.

The torti molly wandered far from her clans territory. The medicine cats were looking for an herb..something bane? They described it pretty accurately to her and stressed the importance of caution.

She sees what looks like one of the flowers nearby a burrow, and she approaches curiously and cautiously. Leaving a set of three pawprints in the dust. She examines the flower when she notices movement in the burrow. Her scraggly tail bristles as she looks up.

The figure was pale, hunched over, and it seemed like their face was melting almost. She could smell the infection. The death. And..milk. This cat was a queen. What in the stars has happened to this cat? Were they alive? Surely not?

"Do you need help?" She asks immediately, taking a tentative step foreward.

Honeyspring peeks out, And upon hearing the molly sPeak, slowly tilts her head until the frail bones in her neck Pop.

How rare it is to have companY, and so honeyspring beckons ryestalker closer.
