Backstory: As a human he was rather well known, his names was Ciri Princin (pronounced: seer-e, Prince-In), he was a performer/magician. Often hired for birthdays or special events. One day he was reached out to by C&A. They had heard the buzz around Ciri's name and were hosting an opening event for their new headsets. C&A wanted him to test it out in front of their "guests and clients", show how it worked and introduce it to them, all of that, hype it up! after thinking it over he gladly accepted. when the night came he was buzzing, so excited and honored to be able to play such an important role, C&A promised to pay well too. When he got up onto stage and placed the headset on after a lengthy introduction to the headset and himself, it was lights out. one thing he didnt know or get to figure out for himself, was that the "audience" he was infront of, was just C&A staff to convince and trick Ciri into a false sense of security.

Gaap Goemon- A deep sea of mysteries and legends

Goemon is from the Gaap family and he's a samurai but we all know that there are more things we need to know about him and I am very curious too. In the meantime I thought I'll do a little overthinking.

This is the costume that Goemon wore on Iruma's Birthday. It's tilted "magician of the sea". Though I saw him in that chapter i couldn't make out anything from it as the title wasn't given in the chapter. I never even saw these draft designs Nishi sensei published. Now with the title we'll think that Goemon has something to do with the sea! Also I noticed that his home has seashells hanging from the roof and embedded onto the pillars.

Later I found a theory on twitter and the draft was available there. This is an excellent theory 🔮 which says that Goemon could be an octopus like demon. The author relates him to Akkorokamui, a Japanese octopus demon that is kind, generous and has healing powers. Akkorokamui is also worshipped in many parts of Japan. Akkoro-kamui. I wonder if that's why Nishi sensei put Camui near Goemon in the beginning lol. Anyway, it could be true as the other titles suit their characters. Also when I looked at the house closely I saw this

On the main roof, the symbol looks like Goemon's head with tentacles!

Then if you play TRPG you probably might know about "The call of Cthulhu". Cthulhu is a giant monster that has an octopus head, wings like a dragon's and body of a human's. He resembles Goemon SO MUCH! His head, wings and the tail, if you look closely, Cthulu's tail looks like one in Goemon's costume.

Nishi sensei is a fan of O.O no shuyaku wa ware ware da. You know, Shaoron and his gang that you see in the spin off manga. They are actually real people and Shaoron plays this game. I wonder if they got inspired by Cthulhu too. It could be possible that both the legend of Akkorokamui and Cthulhu could be blended into the creation of Goemon.

Cthulhu and the crest on the roof have the same expression!

The call of Cthulhu is actually a series of stories written by H. P Lovecraft. They got adapted into movies and games.
