MORE TAMAKI🙏🙏🙏
who am i to deny you 🫡

ꕤ*. synopsis: tamaki doesn’t do so well at hero events, but he’s grounded with you there. not to mention you give him the perfect motivation!
↳ ♡₊˚.warnings: smut, car sex, he says “i love you”, exhibitionism, unprotected sex, sub!tamaki, pet names, established relationship, lil bit of edging, cute tamaki naps for aftercare :3
a/n: sorry if the way i capitalize some stuff has changed, i want to make it easier to read!! i really hope you like it, give me some feedback or suggestions pls!!
ever since he’s met you, tamaki has been doing a lot better at handling any event that comes his way. his friends take notice, praising him for sticking around “this long!”
he owes his success to you, who he will often scamper off to. you’re always with him at every event, keeping him grounded and confident(ish).
usually, he’ll take you everywhere with him, making you become his bodyguard against awkward conversations or slightly passive aggressive behavior. however, you know that it is good for him to do some things on his own so he won’t feel so horrible when you’re busy and can’t escort him everywhere.
so the pro-hero Suneater is here, after several minutes of you gently pushing him, at a table with Deku, Dynamight, Lemillion, Red Riot, Nejire Chan, and a few other names from high school. while he does feel much better that nejire and mirio are there with him, the potential comfort he might have had is ruined when everyone delves into questions about his personal life.
tamaki mentally curses mirio, who asks first, “Suneater! i haven’t met that girl you’ve been parading around yet? when will i get to meet her?”
“her name is ——, and you can meet her soon, i guess? she said she would follow me over soon.” tamaki replied.
“she’s very nice, Lemillion! i met her once while getting a drink at an event a week or so ago, and she was nothing but kind!” Deku shot out, happy to have met a nice person.
nejire never passes up an opportunity to talk about something happy, so she began her rambling, “she’s so preeeetty! can you ask her about what products she uses in her hair? does she have extensions? does she wear wigs? if so, where does she get such natural ones?”
the indigo-haired hero you cherished began to sink in his seat, visibly overwhelmed by the onslaught of questions that had begun after the mention of his date, but felt better when he felt your hand pat him on the shoulder.
“hi, baby. are you doing okay?” you asked, loud enough for people sitting near him to hear, but to him nonetheless.
he began to sit up in his seat, the pet name being comforting enough to help him regain some composure, “yes, i’m okay, how are you?”
you gave him a small smile as you sat in your spot next to him, confirming that you were feeling alright.
mirio was the first to speak to you, “are you ——?! i’ve heard so much about you!! well, pieces about you, tamaki is kind of private about your relationship, but pieces nonetheless!!”
“yes, that’s me! it’s lovely to meet tamaki’s best friend!” you replied, recognizing tamaki’s description of his grade-school friend.
“AWWW, Suneater, you’ve told her about me!” mirio shouted.
tamaki smiled up at him, how could he ever think that he wouldn’t tell everyone about the person who motivated him so much?
~
as the evening went on, you had been asked plenty of questions, mainly by nejire. you had no complaints, as you found everyone thoroughly entertaining and sweet.
the whole time, you were keeping physical contact, even in small ways, with tamaki. it was the best way to make sure he knew you were still there for him and thinking about him, even as you conversed with the others.
over time, your small touches turned into something else. clasping his hand turned into rubbing his thigh, slight pokes turned into tracing soft circles on his bicep. the little things meant the world to this man, so you knew he was getting your idea.
about 3 hours in, tamaki’s social battery had been completely sucked dry. he gave you a special look and squeezed your hand twice to let you know he wanted to go, a signal the both of you had come up with.
you cleaned up your area at the table, stacking your used dishes neatly for a waiter/waitress to pick up with ease, and stood up. you patted yourself down as your lover stood up, and you all exchanged goodbyes as the both of you walked out, your arm wrapped around his.
the both of you walked out to the car, and tamaki slid his hand down to your waist and pulled you closer. you were stunned, he rarely initiates things, especially in public.
“tama” you cooed in his ear.
tamaki led you to the backseat of the car, opened the door for you, and sat next to you. he kept the door slightly ajar for what he would call “ventilation” when you questioned him later.
you kissed him first, a small but sweet kiss. your partner, however, kissed you again. longer, deeper. he grabbed you and held you close to him, and he leaned against the back of the seat. he began to unzip his pants when you stopped him.
“are you sure, baby?” you asked, knowing his fear of having all eyes on him.
“yes, i love you too much, please.” he replied, asking you to please continue.
you nodded at him, and got on top of him. you gave him kisses on his neck and bit him softly as you pulled down his pants to let his cock spring out.
you flipped up the dress he bought you special for this event, and moved your underwear to the side. tamaki brought his hand down to rub small circles on your clit, getting you wet for him.
you softly pushed his hand away, then brought yourself up, then down onto his dick. he let out a small whimper and you shushed him, “shh, baby, we don’t want anyone to see, do we?”
tamaki swallowed thickly, and stuttered out, “n-no”
“maybe you’d like that, dirty boy.” you teased, and he whined in response.
you bounced up and down softly on him, the friction of the base of his cock teasing your clit.
then, suddenly, you heard voices outside, a mere 10-15 ft away.
“oh, hey, someone’s car door is open. should we close it?” said one of the voices.
tamaki’s eyes widened, but he never stopped bucking up into you, and you never stopped riding him. he whimpered quietly, and you put your thumb in his mouth to silence him.
“nah, let’s just leave it. someone might be coming back to it in just a minute.” said another voice.
the both of you heard their footsteps trail away, and you looked at each other. tamaki leaned up to kiss you, and you could tell he was getting close. he was rutting into you from below, and it made you giggle.
“don’t cum until i say, tama!” you reprimanded.
he nodded quickly, confirming his submission.
you were also getting close, and tamaki always knew that you should cum first. you slammed down onto him harder, making his tip kiss your cervix every time. his cock was rubbing against a sweet spot inside you the deeper you went, and you came with a moan of his name.
as you were going through the aftershocks of your orgasm, tamaki began to beg.
“please, can i cum? please.” he whimpered out, his legs shaking slightly.
you kissed his forehead and gave him permission, and his cock twitched as he finally let go of the orgasm he had been holding. his cum warmed your insides and gave you an extra, satisfying feeling as it began to leak down.
“i’ll drive us back home, sweetheart, you rest. i know you’re tired” you told him as you slowly got up, grabbing a blanket that rested in the back pocket of the car seat, special for any sleepy car rides.
you laid tamaki down in the backseat and covered him in the fluffy blanket. you adjusted his pants and his underwear to make him as comfortable as possible.
you got out, adjusted your dress, and closed the car door. you got into the front seat and turned the car on and the heating up so your partner would be cozy on the ride home.

The Myth of Sisyphus and PHILosophy (lol) - a brief essay on two nerds playing a game that might not be that deep but hey who's gonna stop me from pushing this boulder up the hill of writing this?
Disclaimer: it's finally my turn to use my useless degree that included a lot of literary analysis for something extremely important to society: analyzing Dan and Phil content!!! yay!!! This is about to be incredibly nerdy and waffly, but like what else are you doing with your time anyway on phannie tumblr?? (pls read it, I just reread Camus for this for the first time in years okay I'm dedicated to my craft)
"The struggle itself towards the heights is enough to fill a man's heart. One must imagine Sisyphus happy." Albert Camus
As a part of Camus' essays on absurdist philosophy, The Myth of Sisyphus deals with the pointlessness of existence, through retelling the story of the greek myth about the titular character who, as a punishment for defying Death, was condemned to spend eternity pushing a boulder up a hill just to watch it fall back down. That may sound bleak, such is the futile nature of getting up every day and doing tasks, after all.
However, that's not really what the essay conveys. As the quotation provided in the beginning shows, Camus' takeaway about the myth of Sisyphus isn't about how easy it would be to take the option of not engaging at all with the repetitive tasks that make life what it is, or even focusing on how disappointing this pointlessness is. It's about how the journey of getting up everyday and motivating yourself to hit the peak of the hill is all there is to life, really. The absurd conclusion is, ultimately, that pushing the boulder up the hill everyday is what true revolt against the senselessness of the universe is. If there is no reason, we make the reason by climbing up with our rock everyday.
We choose to be happy every day and appreciate our rock, our hill, our existence as a whole. We choose to believe Sisyphus is happy, and, as disappointing at it may sound at first, it's worth it to live your existence, as long as you decide to appreciate your present more than your future (the destination, that elusive peak of the hill).
In Dan's words, you decide to have "just one good night" together every night on tour, you appreciate the journey of climbing out of that mental health hole again. You climb up that hill again and again, because it's worth it, and there are things - bigger than yourself or your personal boulder or even your destination, - that are worth fighting for every day. You embrace the void, and have the courage to exist today, not tomorrow atop the hill.
As Camus' Myth of Sisyphus was, admitedly, one of the inspirations behind We're All Doomed (and it shows!), it makes it even more intriguing to inquire about how much of their reactions to that particular game about Sisyphus informs their perspectives on the world and their personal philosophies.
As a disclaimer, I must add: I don't claim to know Dan and Phil personally, and I only have acess to the parts of them they decide to share, the performing side of them. So, quite obviously, I can be fully off the mark on this one. Still I think it's interesting to dive into, if not for accuracy, at least for better understanding of the personas they portray online, and how their worldviews bleed into it.
The first big point a lot of people brought to the table is the shift in Dan's philosophy ever since writing and performing We're All Doomed and (most likely) a lot of therapy and work on himself over the years. Gone are the days of existential crises being treated as a joke, or mental health in general being discussed without care for what the audience may take from it. During the video, it's quite apparent that he tries very hard to mantain that voice of reason (sometimes breaking it out of frustration, which is fair!), to somehow guide us into an understanding of what this philosophy means to him personally and to his self-proclaimed magum opus WAD.
This is relevant, of course, insofar as this becomes the thesis of the video, silly gameplay and jokes aside. So I couldn't not mention it here, as it's extremely noticeable and commendable of him to now have a different kind of perspective towards the topic of mental health, in this more mature era of their content. You can tell it's relevant to him to try to get the point of the myth across, in a way that tells his audience, as much as it tells himself, that giving up isn't a choice. You must keep pushing that boulder and you must believe that Sisyphus is happy, and so will you be during that journey up the hill. Even when it falls down again and you meet frustration, you pick yourself back up and keep trying to enjoy the present once again.
Secondly, regarding Dan's behavior during the gameplay, it's notable that he gets extremely frustrated when the boulder falls down (who wouldn't?). However, he always tries to catch it and put it back in the path upwards, instead of throwing his hands and giving up like Phil seems to do. This shows, very loosely, how he handles frustration in his own life: trying to fix things and get them right on path again. It's sometimes the most difficult choice to make, but it's extremely corageous to just keep trying in face of extreme frustration. We've seen it all over gaming videos, but also on his own personal projects getting shut down, and Dan still insisting on carrying on creating things that are personal to him, even in face of rejection.
Phil, however, seemed to give up out of frustration extremely easily, so much so that Dan kept pointing it out how he'd let go of the controls and let it happen. It might not mean much, but since he himself claims he gives up on things that are too difficult, it might just be an aspect of his personality to literally let go in face of things he perceives as impossible to achieve.
It is also notable that when he made a mistake, no matter how competitive they usually are on the surface, Phil decided to ask Dan for help, or try to tag out entirely and hand it over. This may not only be related to frustration, but also to knowing how to ask for help, and also a belief that Dan is "the strongest one out of both of us" and he will be there always to help (quite adorable). Dan's tenacity in front of difficult situations is a great complement to Phil's anxious eagerness to hand over the controls when things get overwhelming.
It's interesting to point out how their personal worldview influenced their gameplay as well. Dan was focused, sharp, driven to get to the top of the mountain by keeping in complete control of the boulder at all times. He held on tight to the challenges and kept going, and he wasn't afraid to run back and catch himself enough to try again. Phil's style showed something very interesting about him that is notable in gaming videos in particular: Phil's propensity for making little goals and celebrating the little things in the path to a goal.
Getting through one obstacle that was once difficult is enough to make Phil seem content with his progress. He celebrates every little step of the journey and, in that way, it's easier for him to appreciate it naturally. He's focused on the little tasks more than the big picture, and that makes the experience more enjoyable. His goals shift, of course, as they progress through the level, and the difficulty ramps up. Even so, he's still more likely to point out that's the farthest they've gotten and, hey look at this ramp, let's get through this ramp and then we've won, because that's my goal right now, and that's enough to make me happy in the present.
This counterbalances Dan's more bleak outlook wonderfully as well. While Dan is focused on making it to the top of the hill, and gets extremely discouraged seeing there's a lot more ahead they'll never get to experience, Phil's view is that they got through that one challenge and, surely, next time they'll get through one more, and so on and so forth. Focusing on smaller things is, ultimately, a good way of finding happiness in the process of pushing up that boulder.
Moreover, Phil's brief comment about how you could "make up little stories in your head" is also extremely telling of the kind of person he is. As Camus' philosophy claims: the only way to live with an absurd world is by living through it and learning what it means to be happy in a world that doesn't make sense. In Phil's mind, a bearable way to get through the harrowing experience of every day existence is making up stories, which matches up with his creative mind. Art and creation are indeed things that can make life worth living, and it seems that even subconsciously, that's the path he'd choose against the pointlessness of repetition. The joy of creation is, certainly, and extremely human and beautiful way to find meaning in life.
The most interesting point I'd like to raise, though, is how they got through that game together: as much as Dan accused Phil of distracting him, it was interesting to see that he didn't notice that's entirely the point. The boulder falling down is nothing compared to the stories we share, the conversations we make. What is important is the journey you take, and hearing about your best friend's weird school inter-sports anecdotes, even if you have to start over because you got distracted.
And that's entirely the point I'd like to leave this of with: pushing up that boulder is only worth it if you learn to live, if you learn to love, if you learn to enjoy the present moment, instead of focusing on that ever elusive destination. Therefore, what makes not only the video interesting, but also the game bearable at all, is their interaction with each other. Much like in life as partners, Dan and Phil would, obviously, climb that hill together. They would find the joy in the little moments together, laugh, yell, get frustrated, pick each other back up again in moments of frustration, and keep going up that hill together.
The only way to live is if one imagines Sisyphus happy. The only way to exist is if you decide that, no matter what, you'll create your own meaning. The only way is to find joy in the now instead of later. The only way to make those grueling day to day tasks happy and fun, is by choosing hapiness. Dan and Phil have, in every sense, decided to keep climbing up that hill of existence together. It may be slow and clumsy and loud at times, but it's their own experience. Ultimately, the only way to experience that gaming content is by imagining Dan and Phil are happy to make it for us, and that we can all share a little bit of our hill in moments of laughter and community. That's what makes life worth it in the end.
A/N: this may be the weirdest thing I've ever done, pls accept me for who I am, thank!

how do you feel about not seeing daniel and johnny's reaction to silver and kreese's deaths? and do you think it was a good idea to kill off kwon as a plot device to move the tournament to the valley, considering how we barely saw anyone concerned over his death? and do you think there was a point to axel being abused by sensei wolf? I thought someone would come out out of that plot when he slapped him in front of everyone but nothing happened
In a way, I kind of like that we never see Johnny and Daniel reacting to Kreese and Silver. Both of them (theoretically) made peace with their pasts and chose to no longer let Kreese and Silver have a hold over them. So it seems kind of fitting that we never see their reactions to the death—because it just doesn’t matter to them anymore. On the other hand, it did really contribute to the overall feeling of this last part of the season feeling way, way too rushed. They gave themselves 15 episodes to try and wrap a nice near little bow around the series, but instead used 10-12 of those episodes to blow everything up once again, and then left themselves barely any time to actually close out the story.
As for Kwon…after part 2, I really thought I understood why they at least did it, even if I thought it was dumb as hell. They needed something truly awful to happen as a result of Cobra Kai’s mentality, something horrific enough to shock even Kreese. And I still think that’s what they intended with it…but then by literally redeeming the Cobra Kai philosophy, it completely invalidated everything, including Kreese’s entire arc in part 3 that was motivated by Kwon’s death. And so in retrospect Kwon dyinrg just feels completely senseless, and like you said literally just a plot device to move the Sekai Taikai to the valley and give Johnny an avenue to take back Cobra Kai. It feels cheap and lazy and really takes out the humanity of a lot of these characters. Like, Daniel’s really the only one who gives a shit a kid died right in front of them? Johnny’s really going on a whole spiel about how he needs the win at a tournament where a kid just fucking died? Robby and Miguel and Sam and all the kids are just jubilant and happy about continuing the tournament where someone their age just bled out in front of their eyes??? It’s absurd. And not in a satirical intentional way, in a plain fucking stupid way. This show wants the best of both worlds—to be a silly absurdist karate show, and to tell a thematically resonant story—and everything with Kwon is the prime example of how they completely failed on both fronts.
And Axel and Wolf, idk I have been vocally unsympathetic towards Axel so maybe I’m not the best person to answer this question. But like. I also expected more tbh??? I thought they would force Johnny to step in or something between Wolf and Axel, as a parallel to Mr. Miyagi saving him from Kreese. And part of me is glad we didn’t have to see that, simply because I don’t care about these new characters and don’t want to waste anymore screen time on them than necessary lol. But then it’s also like, what was the point? It feels like they didn’t want to make Axel a one-dimensional villain so they gave him an abusive sensei and a crush on Sam and hoped we felt bad for him. But they had no qualms about making Zara or Wolf or even Kwon fairly one dimensional villains….I wonder what the difference is between those three and Axel….😒. And by giving Axel that mini-redemption where he looks at Sam and chooses not to take Miguel out, they kind of robbed Miguel of his clear, unambiguous win. And I’m not saying they “nerfed” Axel or that Miguel didn’t win fair and square or that Miguel couldn’t or shouldn’t have won that fight. But the fact of the matter is that what was depicted was Axel choosing not to take Miguel down, and losing because of it. Miguel didn’t deserve to have his big win overshadowed just to give some new, minor (white) character a redemptive moment 🤷

I'm annoyed that the many issues with canon Timebomb due to the rushed way the show handled the pairing have started to seep into the fanfic sphere too - namely, Jinx's mental illness being downplayed, Ekko having no personality, relationships or individual motivations outside of his relationship with Jinx and the Firelights being non-existent.
It's got to the point I actively seek out fics published between S1 and S2 over newer ones. They are more likely to nail Jinx and Ekko's characterisation and their dynamic where even the show's writers couldn't.
As someone who doesn't ship timebomb I completely understand your take and it is VALID. Timebomb as a concept is very interesting because theoretically you have these two childhood friends that lost each other only to be reunited later in life as enemies on opposing sides. That is some really compelling groundwork for a romantic relationship! However, the show doesn't really do anything to actually frame them like this. We rarely get to see Jinx and Ekko interact in the whole show, let alone exchange any dialogue with each other.
The timebomb "content" in season two feels misplaced and undeserved because it IS. The only time we've seen these two actually together in a meaningful way in s1 is their fight one the bridge. That fight made it clear that these two have a history that the audience isn't privy to and this one scene is the entire foundation for arcane! timebomb. Ekko has an entire episode in season two that is NOT dedicated to expanding his character, NOT dedicating to elaborating on his relationship with Jinx, but an episode that is dedicated to exploring an alternative reality where Jinx grew up to be a different person. We spend all this time with Ekko and Powder and then the show acts like their dynamic is somehow transferable to Ekko and Jinx by showing us that somehow when Ekko went back to Jinx he was able to reconcile with her and save her life and get her to fight one last time.
To me this makes no sense because episode 7 really didn't show us anything illuminating about Ekko or his relationship with Jinx. It didn't explain what happened between them, or why Ekko would have romantic feelings for Jinx. We go the whole show without ever actually getting any context as to what happened between them, so the nature of their relationship is truly a mystery. Ekko doesn't go through any major development in that episode, he stays consistent throughout the whole time. Ekko in general is unfortunately a character that goes unexplored throughout the whole show. We don't know much about who he is as a character and his goals, motivations, or reasonings. This same issue occurs with The Firelights. We know they're a group of rebels, but what do they ACTUALLY want and what are their plans to achieve their goals?
Ultimately it was decided that none of this mattered because instead of using the groundwork laid out in season one, season two only had one thing in mind: their end goal. And that end goal consisted largely of fan service, which is why we got a timebomb kiss. Not because it added to Jinx and Ekko's story (the kiss wasn't even between Jinx and Ekko lol) but because the ship is popular and they knew a kiss would make fans happy. A large part of the fandom is very happy with the fan service they received in this season and now they are, predictably, running wild with it. Timebomb has become even more popular than it already was and most of the content is very sweet in nature. I'm glad that shippers are fed and enjoying themselves. However, I cannot look past how the adoration for the ship has made people turn a blind eye to what was established prior to season two. The Firelights are important to Ekko, and Jinx killed many of them over the span of several years. Jinx was born with mental illness and her illness impacted her everyday life. Ekko and Jinx seemingly have a complex history that needs to be unpacked before they can even ATTEMPT to be on good terms again. The last time we saw Ekko and Jinx in s1 they LITERALLY tried to kill each other! This is a relationship that deserves and NEEDS time to be understood.
As for Jinx's mental illness being downplayed? 100% true. In season one Jinx's mental health was vital to the story the writers were trying to tell. They didn't want Jinx to seem like a manic, Joker-type character. They wanted her to be someone the audience would simultaneously pity and fear. But in season two, the end goal was to have Jinx reconcile with Vi and be a hero. To the people behind season two, this wasn't possible without stripping Jinx of everything that made her a fan favorite. Season one was all about rejecting the past and embracing who you truly are and what you've become. Jinx's final action in season one is sitting in the Jinx chair, proclaiming she has changed, and then nuking topside. But in season two, Jinx answers to the name Powder and says "Jinx is dead." In season two, Jinx becomes completely pacified and is no longer a murderous criminal who struggles with daily hallucinations. The erasure of her mental illness and identity has led fans to come to the conclusion that she was never really "that messed up" to begin with, all her problems were because of Silco and now that Silco's gone, she's better. This view is incorrect because we see Jinx have meltdown before she even meets Silco AND arguably Jinx reverting back to Powder isn't inherently a good thing. Powder isn't inherently the "better" version of Jinx. The fact that she even reverts at all goes completely against the message of season one and Silco's dying words, "Don't cry. You're perfect."

how to get out of a funk✧.*

hey guys! so its been a longgg time since I posted because im just getting out of a little funk and decided to make a post on some things I did to get out of it! I know especially the summer time can be really difficult for people (me included) so I wanted to take the time out to share things that helped me. Hope it can help some of you all too!
get moving/workout
whether its a little walk or a whole routine at the gym keeping it moving gives you an energy boost as well as naturally bringing up your happy hormones. it could even be as simple as doing a quick stretch!
take a shower
sounds simple right? as simple as it is it sounds it really does make a difference on your overall mood. and if u want to take it a step further make it an everything shower!
read a book
when was the last time you read a book? and be honest! instead of being on my phone all the time which really drains our energy more than we think, pick up a book! the act of reading alone will make you feel better about yourself because its counted in a way as being productive. take it a step further and read a motivational book!
shutting your phone off
this one can be superrrr hard. even for me personally i have trouble with this. but ultimately when i do take breaks and put it down i feel sooo much better about myself. like i mentioned before being on our phones so much can really put us into a bad state mentally. Can’t stop altogether? Try just limiting down the time u spend on it, till you don’t feel the need to be on it all the time anymore. It may be hard but this one act alone will improve how you feel soooo much and out of all of these this one I highly recommend.
open a window
this is one of the simplest things you can do to make yourself feel better. opening a window to let in light AND fresh air is so much more good for your body then you think it is. For me the fresh air always brings me back to life. If you want to take it a step further go outside and take a walk!
sincerely,
- katelyn 🪽

Nothing's Wrong with Dale - Publishing Update May 4 2024
So my work work is starting to relax - it'll be 'normal' working hours after May 15, but i'm manifesting some early additional free time (by ignoring some of the things i still have left to do) and i thought i'd give an update on my current NWWD plan to fill you guys in (if anyone wants to know) and to motivate myself to, you know, do it.
let me know what you think and if you have any questions! or if there's anything else you want to know!
So the overall plan is as follows:
First Rough Edit - this is basically just changing the POV from 2nd POV to 3rd POV. This is very tedious and currently what I'm doing right now. I'm also making a list as I go for high level updates/changes i want to make. Just thinking about the story as a whole and what tweaks i want to make now that the whole thing is finally done (primarily moving exposition around, if there's anything extra i can remove, timing of when certain things are discussed, and so on).
My Main Edit - this will be more time consuming but probably more fun as i do my main revise and edit of the story as a whole. i'll likely print the entire story out, make edits on hard copy, and then type up all the edits. I will also probably be sending the updated chapters to my main beta, for her opinion. (this would be the person i first texted about Dale in Dec 2021, she deserves first look lol)
Editor - After I'm happy with what I've done, i'll send the entire thing over to my editors, the main ones who worked on DSM. This will likely take a good amount of time (DSM took one month) but in many ways involves less effort from me lol. Just nerves.
Cover, Self-publishing Details - while my editors have the manuscript, I'll be narrowing down what I want the cover to look like and hiring a cover artist. (i've got a short list of artists right now, but i'll probably continue to refine that). I'm bad a visualizing covers and so this will be hard for me, although i have some basic ideas. i'll need to gather reference photos too and then work with the artist. I also want to publish more widely than just Amazon and will hopefully get DSM out to other places as well as a test run before NWWD. Look into more marketing? This is the most miscellaneous of the steps.
Process Edits - actually go through all the edits and notes given to me by my editor. This takes a lot of time (and is mentally taxing - no one likes to read pages of people telling you what you need to fix about what you wrote even if its overall extremely helpful and necessary)
Finalizing - I'll send the edited version to my first beta and another ARC reader/friend. I'll work on the formatting for the book. Coordinating where it will be published and when.
Publishing!
This is a loose list of steps that I mostly defined right now, but are similar to what i did with DSM. As i said, I'm in step one, currently just finished Chapter 25 of 36 of that rough edit.
I'll try to provide some updates on the process at it moves along, if people are interested in hearing about that. I'll most likely keep those updates on this blog, along with any other publishing specific commentary. if any one has any questions or thoughts on the whole thing, please feel free to send them to this blog or comment on this post.
I'm very excited to really dig into publishing NWWD and looking forward to sharing it with you!
Thanks to everyone for all their support - I wouldn't even be considering this (i probably wouldn't have even had a finished draft) with you!
#self-publishing#nothing's wrong with dale#writblr#writing#NWWD status#so excited to be making progress again#long road ahead but its gonna end with me having a full book published#so i'm beyond thrilled#publishing

Papyrus' Heaven Theory - I Swear It's Not Card Friends
Updated June 4th, 2024. Currently probably the definitive version of Papyrus Knight.
Part 1 - The Flaws with Papyrus Knight
a. "It's out of character"
Well, this is the main flaw that Papyrus' Heaven is made to address. However, this section is to run through the argument, so let's see here:

Papyrus is often seen as a simple, happy, and whimsical guy. And on the surface level, in Undertale at least, he does seem to be.
He also has one core difference when compared to the rest of the main cast: He cannot kill you. Toriel can kill you if you're not careful. Sans can kill you in his battle, though it's hard to reach. Undyne and Asgore have essentially made it their job to do so. Mettaton lives in a killer robot body designed to murder humans, a body created by Dr. Alphys. Flowey is a genocidal maniac who will kill you, only to revive you and do it over and over again.
But Papyrus? The only instances of him being able to kill you were a rare glitch in older versions of Undertale, which appears to now be an impossibility.
Now, someone this nice surely cannot have been an evil Knight in another timeline, right?
Well, let me present you a mini-theory within this theory:
Papyrus' Disremembrance Theory
There is a LOT of evidence that Papyrus is intentionally making himself forget many things, many important things.
Dialogue from the King Papyrus ending as well as the Lost SOUL battle paints a dark picture for Papyrus' backstory. Him saying absolutely nothing during part of the fight is haunting, and could imply that he's unable to remember what he would've said at that point. This is especially relevant as it comes at the same time Sans says "you'll never see 'em again," which is a very likely reference to his time in Deltarune's reality. The King Papyrus ending is quite terrifying too, it alludes to his "usual encouragement" not always working, which seems to imply there are past coping mechanisms of his.
This—coupled with the evidence that he's from the DELTARUNE reality—implies he is deep in denial and has forced himself to forget nearly everything. By the way, if you're not aware of said evidence, check out my post detailing the evidence Sans and Papyrus are from the DELTARUNE universe. It's fairly good, but I did not address the sun argument...so I will now.

A major argument against the Papyrus Deltarune theory is that he doesn't know what the sun is. Clearly, he cannot be from Deltarune's Light World if he does not know what the sun is!
Well, my answer to this is fairly simple. He likely has beaten the Deltarune reality out of his mind so hard that he doesn't remember what the sun is. He has to strain himself to even remember there was grass, after all. He does use the term "sun on my skin" but I believe he isn't fully aware of the connection between "the sun" and a big ball in the sky.
To wrap up Papyrus' Disremembrance theory, I'd like to point out that it nicely contrasts Sans' whole "don't forget" thing. This is even reflected in the Lost SOUL dialogue; Sans is clearly grieving while Papyrus has fully made himself forget.
Now - back to the main point!
Since we have established Papyrus is in denial, and has made himself forget practically everything that occurred in his time in the DELTARUNE reality, we can now treat his Undertale incarnation as a "soft reset" of sorts. Many traits of his shine through, but he is a fairly different person.
For example, I believe one of his core traits is his "I WILL BE THE ONE!" mentality.

If Papyrus really is the Knight, him being obsessed with a goal of causing a world-changing event to happen would add up. The core motivation for both would be to become worshipped and to achieve what he perceives as the greater good.
It would also be consistent with how Asriel—the Angel in Undertale's world—deceived him into doing his bidding. Assuming that the Knight is working for Deltarune's Angel, that could be a recurring theme for Papyrus' story.
Lastly, I will mention how most Papyrus Knight theories mess this up. They often claim he does not know about the Roaring, or that he makes the Dark Fountains just to get some Darkner buddies. And, while that may be on the surface level closer to his Undertale characterization, it does not add up with the in-game evidence. Queen makes it clear that the Knight goes by 'Roaring Knight' and King implies he was ordered to fight the other kings by the Knight. This clearly implies they are devoted to doing the Angel's bidding, regardless of if it's morally wrong.
b. "He's from Undertale, so he can't be the Knight"
I won't spend too long on this one since it is absolutely unchangeable, but I will bring up a counterpoint, one that I explained earlier.

Papyrus is kind of a Deltarune character???
If anyone who first appeared in Undertale counts, it would be the skeletons.
Hell, W.D Gaster in Deltarune is very heavily implied to be the same Gaster who built the CORE in Undertale's reality.
It appears the skeletons are strange, interdimensional beings. Gaster exists everywhere at every possible time, and Sans and Papyrus are known to have hopped realities.
Essentially, this argument is a bit weaker for someone like Papyrus than someone like Undyne who isn't the same character across both games.
I do get it, though. However, I do think there is room to debate he's being treated weirdly compared to nearly everyone else.
This line about Papyrus.
This damn line about Papyrus.
I don't think it proves he's the Knight at all, but Toby Fox is totally conditioning us to wonder where the hell Papyrus is.
And given the way the newsletters have been using Papyrus, it's honestly odd to imagine he won't have some strangely major role in the plot.
I could easily use something like this GIF as "evidence" but it really isn't. I could argue it ties Papyrus to a future Dark World location, I suppose. But really, the main takeaway is that Papyrus is treated extremely weirdly when compared to the rest of the returning Undertale cast.
c. "Nobody knows who he is"
Well, this flaw is near-unfixable. However, it is possible to turn it into a slight strength.
Firstly, though, there are ways for him to be more known to the main cast.

Deltarune has teased a Papyrus hangout in a similar vein to Undertale's date. Not only has Sans directly told you that you'll hang out with him soon, but the Steam page hints that Papyrus is busy—implying he will show up later.
This could easily pay off in a hangout later in the game, which causes the Fun Gang to familiarize with him. Hell, it's possible there's a Dark World adventure with him later on. However, I have a question to pose to you:
Does it really matter?
Well, likely, yes. Though, it is potentially not as much of a flaw as you would think.
Consider, for a moment, who else do we know for sure has created a dark fountain? Kris. And, tell me if this sounds familiar.
"Antisocial person lacking friends, who—in the grand scheme of things—lives under the shadow of their older brother."
Sure, this isn't exactly that unique of a character archetype, but if the two Dark Fountain creators share those traits, it could mean something.
Kris isn't as unknown as Papyrus is, but still— many people do not know them very much. Some don't even know their name; Undyne addresses them as "Asgore's kid" and even the ones who do know their name are not quite familiar with them.
Some More Weird Parallels Between These Siblings

Kris and Papyrus are both compared to Luigi from the Mario series.
Yes, I get it's stupid to bring up Luigi in an essay about Papyrus being the Roaring Knight, but hear me out here.
In debating Papyrus Knight since I wrote the original draft of this essay, I've mostly encountered the response that it's a basic trope and cannot be considered as an intentional parallel.
However, knowing Toby Fox directly acknowledges it and considers both of them to be Luigi-like characters...that makes it far more plausible of a comparison to make. Both of them are younger siblings who, despite their circumstances, wish they were "as good" as their elders, being Asriel and Sans. Just LOOK at Kris' room.
Papyrus and The Fun Gang
Papyrus is absolutely one of, if not the best character to make the Knight in relation to the Fun Gang.
I know that sounds odd. How? The Mayor is a character who they all at least know exists, and a similar thing could be said about Alvin, or even a more out-there candidate such as Alphys.
But...one thing nearly everyone else has in common is that they are figures of authority. Figures not nearly comparable to the teenagers who were pulled into a universe-defining story which puts fate into their hands.
This could apply to Kris (albeit limiting the affected parties for obvious reasons) and arguably Dess, but Papyrus really does work the best from the perspective of an "equal" antagonist.
This becomes especially clear when you consider the main antagonists so far.
A king, a queen, some criminal mastermind guy. To have their creators and ultimate superior be just another sad teenager like the Fun Gang could work as a better story.

Now.
The main issues with Papyrus Knight have been fairly addressed.
They will be hard to correct, but I have gotten them out of the way in order to pave the foundation of my theory. If the Knight is creating these worlds, why? They don't just want little Darkner buddies...if so, why would they order Spade King to overthrow the other kings?
Well, the motivation comes down to one word.
...
Okay. This is a bit funny. When I originally made the theory, I considered Dess was controlling him to create an Angel's Heaven. But now i go against said idea. But I'm too lazy to change the title, so pretend that nothing happened.
Part 2 - Papyrus' Heaven Theory
The General Idea
If you just want the key details of Papyrus' Heaven, here you go.
Papyrus doesn't want the Dark Worlds for friends, for fun, for adventure, or whatever. He is fully convinced that whatever he is doing is working toward a great new future.
In Undertale, we see his "I WILL BE THE ONE!!!" mentality with his ultimate goal of saving monsterkind, by capturing the final human. I believe he felt that very way about being the Knight. That he is ultimately a legendary hero.
This parallels the Fun Gang, who are also a group of inexperienced teenagers lacking friends who have been turned into prophesied heroes of the world.
Papyrus is aware, in some way, that a Roaring exists and believes it's either a necessary evil or the key to the perfect end for the world. He is not going to have a Berdly moment where Ralsei tells him it's bad and he stops.
What he did hurt him so much that he repressed the memories and vowed to be a better person.
Now, let me look at a few of these points in further detail.
"Papyrus doesn't want to make fountains for friends, fun, or adventure. He believes he's bringing a grand future."
Well, I can sense a counterpoint coming.
If he is aware of the Roaring, and believes it could be used to help save the world, why would he not just start the Roaring right then and now?
Well, I feel the easiest way is to connect this to Gaster.
Sans is fairly obviously connected to Gaster, but what many people don't consider is the strange level of meta knowledge he possesses. Not only does he wink at what we can only conclude is the Player, but he fairly accurately knows the release window between chapters of Deltarune. (2 years to describe the window between Chapters 1 and 2, which is correct if you don't round upwards.)
Given he says you'll most likely see Papyrus again when Asriel returns, we can infer this will likely be around when a major story moment occurs. This is probably sometime between Chapter 5 and Chapter 7, however it is most likely during Chapter 5 proper, as that chapter may take place in the Flower King shop for various reasons. These include but aren't limited to the likely placement of the Church in Chapter 4 based on various context clues, the potential for a Flower King area to serve as a pseudo-endgame with Flowey characters and the like, and the May 2024 newsletter giving us some content regarding the Flower King shop a while after Chapter 3's development completed.
There are also many reasons to believe Chapter 5 will end with the Roaring beginning and heavily feature the Knight, such as Chess Theory and the original release schedule.
Regardless though, given that Papyrus is known to have some form of relationship with Gaster, I could see him having some level of fore-knowledge. It'd be interesting if Gaster actually needs the Knight for the Legend to come true, and thus is affiliated with them.
"In Undertale, we see his 'I WILL BE THE ONE!' mentality which may carry over into his attitude as the Knight."
Papyrus is strongly devoted to his goals in Undertale. Sometimes, painfully so. He is very, very committed to making sure Frisk is captured. Even after they become friends with him, he continues to aid Undyne in capturing him.
And yes, he is very aware of what he's doing.

Papyrus very much knows the consequences his actions have, and does not cease even despite the fact he is friends with the person who is going to be murdered; their blood would be on his hands. Yet he is unrelenting.
I imagine this is a personality the Knight could have.
To endanger children by placing Dark Worlds in a school and a library, and to continue creating these Dark Fountains even after having learned of the Roaring (if he didn't already know of it) is something I cannot see many characters doing. Of course, that can be addressed with others, but Papyrus in particular is very stubborn, or to put it another way, determined.
Regardless of whether a Knight Papyrus would want recognition or love, I believe he absolutely considers himself to be a hero. Perhaps he is misguided. And, if the Delta Warriors are also misguided, then it'd be a double misguide. Two opposing sides, and yet both manage to be wrong in a sense.
Does Papyrus Want Recognition Again?
Speaking of, though, it is entirely likely that Papyrus wants to be hailed for his work as the Roaring Knight.
Perchance Sans is being truthful when he says Papyrus wants friends, and Papyrus takes that in an unhealthy direction using Dark Worlds.
While Kris used the Dark Worlds to make new friends with Lancer, Ralsei, and Susie, as well as improving their bond with Noelle and Berdly, the Knight has been shown to have manipulated the chapter bosses in order to worship them. Maybe not directly, but they absolutely have displayed behaviour that implies that the Knight feels like a god to them.
It is presumable that Papyrus may also want to gain praise from other Lighters in this manner as well, but he certainly has taken the role of a 'god' to some Darkners.

"Papyrus is aware of the Roaring and considers it necessary to fulfill his grand goal."
Given Queen calls the Knight the Roaring Knight, this is a pretty clear-cut case.
As I mentioned in the last section, Papyrus absolutely does know his actions have consequences, and it's very hard to change their mind. In Undertale, thankfully, most of his actions were benevolent. But in this case, he is really acting in a dangerous manner which is bound to hurt many people.
"What he did hurt him so much that he repressed the memories, and vowed to change and improve as a person."
I already covered this earlier, during the Papyrus' Disremembrance segment.
However, I do want to expand a little more on a specific argument against it here.
I've seen Papyrus' ignorance at what a human looks like being used as a point against him being from the Deltarune world, or a point against him having met Kris.
Now, if Papyrus' Disremembrance theory is correct, that explains that argument away.
Next, I'll cover more tangible evidence for the theory.
Part 3 - Some Potential Evidence I Guess
Susie Is QC Lmao
When talking about the Roaring Knight and the Dark Fountains, Susie says this:
"The Roaring Knight…
(...)
Since they started showing up,
Everything’s gotten a lot more interesting, hasn’t it…?"
This is odd. It's very, very similar in wording to the way QC describes Sans and Papyrus being new in town. She says the following:
"There’s two of ‘em…
Brothers, I think.
They just showed up one day and…
… asserted themselves.
The town has gotten a lot more interesting since then."
The focus on the Fountains being new and the very similar choice in wording leads me, and others, to believe this may be an intentional parallel. Of course, there are other Knights who could be 'new' like the Vessel, but Papyrus fits the best by far, because of the fact the original statement was about him and Sans.
Papyrus and Dreams
Papyrus is weirdly frequently connected to dreams.
If you take even a casual glance at Deltarune, it's pretty clear dreams are significant to this game.
"This robot was the embodiment of a lightner’s dreams."
“The edge of shadow, where reality and dream meet.”
In the Undertale 5th anniversary alarm clock winter dialogue, Papyrus talks about how he let Sans sleep despite wanting him to help to clean up after the holiday party, and adds that this dream was his gift to him.
"SO I LET HIM SLEEP.
HE BETTER NOT EXPECT ME TO CLEAN UP BY MYSELF NEXT TIME! THAT GOOD DREAM WAS MY PRESENT TO HIM! NYEHEHEHEHEH!!!"
In Papyrus’s room, upon inspecting his bed, he talks about his dream of driving down a highway:
THAT’S MY BED!
(…)
OF COURSE, THAT’S JUST A DREAM.
SO INSTEAD I CRUISE WHILE I SNOOZE.
Papyrus and the IcePalace Maze
Now, I'm including this one more for the hell of it rather than because it's really evidence. But, regardless, here it is.
On the Spamton Sweepstakes website, clicking on the black door of the blue and white d_a_m_n_y_o_u_t_e_n_n_a page leads us to Noelle’s blog. https://deltarune.com/icepalace_glaceir/. In her blog entry, she talks about the cross shaped maze in the ice area from the game Dragon Blazers. If the player wasn’t accompanied by a specific character to guide them, they got lost and became stuck forever.
In the Undertale 5th anniversary alarm clock winter dialogue, Sans describes how Papyrus threw a holiday party for everyone and made a maze out of snow and ice, in which Asgore got lost:
"this winter, papyrus threw a holiday party for everyone.
[...] oh yeah, he even made a, uh, a “welcoming puzzle” for the party.
a giant labyrinth made of ice, snow, and musical ornament,
you, uh, had to get through it to get to the front door.
think asgore got lost in there for a while.
undyne had to go save him."
Mettaton refers to it as a "mind maze" which is extremely interesting if it truly is referencing a Dark World.
To be clear, though, my claim is that it is a parallel to Papyrus' previous actions, not that they really created a Dark World here. That would be silly.
The True Meaning of the Word Font
There is a very compelling case that the word 'font' means 'Dark fountain.'
Papyrus (as well as Sans and Gaster) use the more common modern definition of 'font' which is essentially just a computer typeface.
However, the more traditional definitions oddly line up with a description of a Dark Fountain.
Don't put too much stock in this one. It's mostly a fun coincidence!
"A receptacle in a church for the water used in baptism."
This one should be fairly obvious.
Darkness is compared to water a lot. Down to the word 'fountain' being used at all. The filename for the background in the intro is "IMAGE_DEPTH" and the sound effect when Kris and Susie fall into a Dark World is called "ocean."
The 'baptism' part is especially interesting though.
A 'holy fountain.' Not only does King describe fountains as Holy, but so does the soundtrack. The theme of the Dark Fountains is called THE HOLY. Given it is in all caps and fairly reasonably connected to Gaster, it's interesting that a skeleton who uses a strange font himself would describe them this way...
"A reservoir for oil in an oil lamp."
Not much to say on this, other than the fact oil is VERY dark. A very dark liquid such as Darkness may be comparable with oil.
"A source of a desirable quality or commodity, a fount."
Now this really just describes the Dark World.
Not only does the Dark World act as a form of 'Dream World,' but it actively amplifies the skills and powers of those who enter.
Monsters are able to use magic, or at least harness it more powerfully than normal.
Given the way Dark Worlds work, you could very much consider them to fit this definition of font.
Papyrus' Heaven - Conclusion
This is my first long-form theory, and I hope you liked it. Please point out errors or holes, and I'll go back and edit them!
Updated June 4, 2024 to reflect changes in my, and other people's, visions for how it should go.

I've been wondering for a long time. How would you characterise Wemmbu? How he seems in your eyes, your opinion of the guy. I hope I don't sound weird or crazy.
aw dw anon its okay to be curious ^^
regarding my characterization of wemmbu, while there is a lot of consistency in how he acts since hes an improv rper and therefore generally just acts as a polished/exaggerated version of his own self, there are still a few differences in how he acts depending on what smp hes in
general: smarmy, quite pathetic but tries his best to hide it until he literally cant anymore, opportunistic, petty, truthful in that kind of way that makes you doubt him, not quite black and white thinking but can switch up fast when someone does something that presses his buttons (doesnt necessarily trigger when someones just being mean, its specific kinds of things -- mostly has something to do with pride and trust), has a desire to be on top of things but whether or not he indulges in that desire depends on his overall plans and the kind of server hes in, silly but in a lowkey way as in like he presents himself as a normal person which works but only if you dont look closer, lowkey cringey in that uwu kinda way (affectionate), good at one-on-one yapping esp if hes confident & knows more about the situation than the other person but starts to crumble if its either him vs a group or if hes genuinely not confident about something, willing to sacrifice so much just to achieve his goals whatever they may be
kings smp: more opportunistic and a lot more willing to lie & manipulate & betray, crab mentality very high but he holds it back since indulgin in all of it at once isnt very good for his plans
challenge smps: like kings smp but even More willing to lie & manipulate & betray, has a stronger crab mentality since the whole point of the smp is to win and he really wants to win and he knows he wont be seeing these ppl in this context again anyway so hes willing to do whatever it takes even if it means betraying his allies, << does Not apply to team challenges btw he will be very loyal until hes given a reason to betray such as believing the others are betraying them first
lifesteal smp: had a good grasp of what it means to be a lifestealer right from the get go but has struggled a bit in figuring out what that means for him exactly so he still has a bit of that new guy stench if you get what i mean (this characterization becomes less and less prominent the later in the timeline it is), has been very loyal thus far and is more than happy to point that out, average level of lifestealer aggressiveness, i like to parallel him with zam mirror-style due to them having opposite thought processes but coming to similar conclusions (pic below of unfinished draft ive had for ages cause idk how to word my thoughts regarding this properly other than 'the vibes')
unstableverse: very obvious mirror parallel to zam that i honestly wouldnt be surprised if it was on purpose, kinda hard talking about his motivations and character devoid of context regarding zam considering he spent 4 out of 5 eps as a major character (even when he isnt actually there lmao) and wemmbu spent 3 of those 4 eps obsessing over him but i will try my best, can be a bit of a stalker but only if he really cares about whatever it is the guy hes stalking is doing/potentially doing, no empathy (affectionate), generally doesnt care that much about individual players but when he gets attached he gets Attached for better or worse, zeroes in on his goals even to his own and others' detriment, a lot more pathetic than in other smps or at least has a harder time hiding his patheticness, also may just be me but i think hes more pessimistic?? not entirely sure tho
overall i think hes pretty neat! pretty cute and silly but also devious and mischievous, if i could shake him in a can i would
#mine.ask#Anonymous#i should probs tag stuff like this so i can read them again later#mine.hcs#uhhhhh might change that later idk

i'm curious about the new dorms in pairs! leeknow said they all got to choose who they wanted to live with. is it true and are they satisfied with the member they are with? (i know its not been long since they moved in together). and how do they welcome that change on a personal level? thank you!!
Hi:) so i reformed the question a little bit, since before the reading i felt like the members theyre with was a mutual decision they're all content with. I don't feel like they really had much preferences either. So either way i think most of them would've been pretty content with whoever they ended up with. After all they have lived with everyone once, and more or less have learned to live with each member.
That being said i find the topic intriguing myself, especially after laying the cards so I've prepared a follow up reading going more into details like what was the overall reason the group decided to move. What was each members motivation to want/not want to move. What co-living in each dorm is like, like looks, vibes, routines, dynamic, personal relationship, individual relationship with oneself, changes of before, likes and dislikes etc. so stay tuned🥰✨🙌🏻
*For entertainment purposes only!
How do Skz feel about their new dorm arrangements?
Chan - 5 of Swords, The Fool, 2 of Cups
Out of all Chan seems to be the only one that didn't welcome the change with open hands. I feel he might've had some reservations and maybe feared that the bond between them might weaken or even break if they now spend less time with each other. U know you get used to someone when living together so u get a bit blind about stuff that would annoy you. And by moving out into pairs he might've feared that some members might once again start to bicker (im thinking of han and hyunjin😂) Despite that he kind if gave in or was overpowered by the majority when making that decision and is actually pretty content now with i.n as his roommate.
I.N - 3 of Wands, 2 of Wands
He was so in for the whole change. Very enthusiastic. I think him, hyunjin and leeknow are the most excited and happiest ones. He took a big part in planing and executing the move i feel like. He was definitely very involved. I think now he has way more (mental) space to indulge in things he might've not been able to before now that he has more peace and quite and more space. He's excited for the fruits of it all.
Lee Know - 4 of Wands, Page of Swords
He feels really happy, kind of like he hit the jackpot or something. This might've been something he has awaited for a while and now he finally has it. Other than that i don't see much tbh. I think he's just excited to start his living together with Han and build a closer relationship and create an intertwined life with each other(?).
Han - 9 of Pentacles, 6 of Cups
He feels the whole thing was a big success/jackpot too and is very happy with the move as well. I believe he's excited to have it easier. I see him finally being able to take care of his inner child, and also for his inner child to be taken care of by Leeknow specifically. He feels like he can relax and let himself be cared for and pampered - something he apparently couldn't do and didn't get while in the other dorms. Both of them are very compatiable as in ones needs automatically fulfills the others needs and vice versa. They really do each other good.
Changbin - Queen of Cups, The Empress
Changbin is also very content with the change and i feel like he wants to use this time and newfoudn space and peace to get to know himself better and grow. To care better for himself. To nurture himself more. I feel like he's kind of over the bachelor / youngster life and wants to slowly step into a more adult role and become more autonomous and mature when it comes to life and general. I feel like he kind of steps in a new era and is in a state of a metamorphosis or something, where he turns from a boy to a man, and other stuff begin to interest him slowly and for that he needs to change to. But he can't feel like a reliable man, capable to provide for his partner and eventually his family, if he has lived his whole life with his parents or his other bachelor friends. He wants to take this opportunity to become more "serious" and reliable - build himself and his confidence in his skills to "survive" on his own. Learn what it is to live by yourself (even if he still shares the apartment with hyunjin) and get used to, in advance, of what life with a partner would be like. Kind of like practice for the future and indirect manifesting.
Hyunjin - The Sun, 3 of Pentacles
Hyunjin feels amazing and is really, really happy about the move. He can finally flourish. I think he's that type of introvert where the more people there are around him, the more dampened his energy gets. Now when he shares an apartment just with changbin (who's also very focused on his own thins recently) he can unfold and flourish fully the way he wants to. I think he wants to learn new things and engage even more in his own hobbies and interest and he actually looks forward to when he actually misses the members or human contact. I think in the past years he's been so stifled continuously, feeling slightly suffocated by the amount if people around him that he has forgotten what it is to actually want to see people. To crave human contact. He's happy that now with his newfound peace and space he can enjoy his own company to the point where he will start actually craving other people himself.
Felix - Temperance
Felix's reading wasn't very detailed or colorful. Basically he's just content with the new living arrangements. He would've been fine either way tho:)
Seungmin - Justice, Knight of Pentacles
Fo him imnpt getting anything specific either, i guess he's just indifferent and will continue just living for himself and do his own thing, maybe a tad bit easier now that he shares his space only with one member.

Do you think Art was manipulating Patrick and Tashi the whole time? I see it takes that he didn't really mean to, and it was unintentional, but I think it was intentional the whole time.
If you want proof that Art was manipulating Patrick and Tashi the entire time, the proof is in the sauna scene. His vibes are crazy in that scene, if you imagine he's just acting naturally the way he feels, but if you imagine he's up to something and that's part of the mental game with Patrick, the question becomes what is Art doing in that scene and why? The answer is, Art is making sure he wins. Art's being honest when he tells Patrick that what he really cares about is winning, and winning the points that matter is what he's good at. He means that about his tennis career, but also about the fact that he's the one who got the girl they both love to marry him and have his baby.
When he gets back to the room, Art makes the weird choice of asking Tashi to hold him until he falls asleep. Why not invite her to go to bed with him and both go to sleep? She can't fall asleep herself sitting up with him in her lap, so she'll have to get up in a sneaky way to avoid disturbing him. If she's already successfully snuck out of bed without waking him, that's the perfect opportunity to sneak out to see Patrick. Being very seductive with her and getting her riled up and then crashing out on her also ensures that she's going to be sexually frustrated when she meets up with him. Wonder what they're going to do?
Contrary to fandom opinion, Tashi DOES love Art, and Art is fully aware of this. Tashi asking Patrick to throw the game is just as predictable as her sleeping with Patrick, if you consider how high Art raised the stakes of the match in her mind by pressing her into saying she's going to leave him if he loses it. Surely Art doesn't believe Patrick is going to tell a version of Tashi that is both begging him to lose the match in fear of an implosion of her marriage and also so horny she's practically climbing all over him "no," no matter what she asks at that point. Getting those pieces all in order is some real master manipulator work.
Art's history with Patrick meant that he was always going to be both his biggest personal and professional threat, but also his biggest personal and professional motivation. Art made sure that went the right way for him when it really counted. He does want to be with Tashi, and retiring on top ensures she'll get the closure she needed on their careers and they can just be rich and happy together. He also wants his friend Patrick back, and his impending retirement means that his professional competition with Patrick is officially ending. If Tashi takes Patrick up on the offer to coach the next year, it won't put him in conflict with Art because Art's already won everything and retired, so the three of them can just hang out with Patrick on tour and have threesomes lol. Nobody gets a setup that good for them, that screws over or defers the happiness of everyone around them by happenstance. The best part is that even though they may not know exactly how he does it, Patrick and Tashi know when Art is playing them. That's why Tashi looks so upset in the hotel room, and why Patrick gets the general vibe she hates him. It's also why even though Patrick and Tashi are directly confrontational with each other, they never look as hurt as they do when they have a problem with Art. They know he's going to get what he wants, and it's probably gonna hurt.
#art donaldson#tashi duncan#patrick zweig#challengers 2024#challengers spoilers#art is such a good snake you never see it coming#a wolf in sheeps clothing that eats the whole flock without taking off his wool coat#they all love each other and that's why they manipulate each other

HI PINKY ! 🎻 Anon here ✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧
My finals went overall quite well! (Except for one final but my overall grade was still fine so we're all good) I did end up having my ceiling of my room collapse though! (ノ`Д´)ノ彡┻━┻ Gotta love landlords that refuse to do proper house maintenance on century old homes. So right before finals had my ceilings collapse, then had finals while stuck sleeping in the living room (to be fair the couch was comfy but the whole setup is less than ideal), and then literally the evening after my last final flew out to literal other side of the planet for college visits. So needless to say I've been rather tired recently! It's been fun though and I also got to see some family that I rarely see again so that was nice. BUT! I finally have the mental bandwidth to send in an ask again. So enough with the dramatic rambling about my life I have more ideas about the human hero reader I thought of!
So! I learned just the other day that an army captain is actually kinda low rank. (At least in the US military, can't speak to other systems) And you usually get there within like 4 years of your career as an officer. And if Wars is around 24-26ish (at least that's how old I usually imagine him since he's one of the older members of the group but not like OLD) and he would have started his time in the military as like a 17-18 year old, buddy boy would actually be behind on his career. (Stick with me this will all come together I swear!)
So I imagine human hero reader (I'm calling them hh!reader for my sanity to specify from here on out for my sanity) ended up getting pulled into the military after saving Hyrule. They really don't like being there, but the royal family of that time doesn't really give reader a choice. I'd imagine them most likely being a very low rank enlisted soldier. (If you require explanations for anything just let me know. I am more than happy to explain and understand most people haven't been raised around this stuff) But because reader didn't want to join the military in the first place and Warriors is one of the MOST wary member of the chain they would probably butt heads quite a bit. I imagine reader with an attitude of while they're usually a very nice person to be around they can hold a strong grudge and aren't afraid to tell someone if they're being an idiot. Not something that goes over well in the military. So reader probably targets at least some of that frustration to the resident military man. And something that would be rather easy to go for is that fact that he still hasn't been promoted. This would probably devolve into him telling them that they suck as a soldier until reader snaps and said they never had any choice in the matter and they storm off. Probably one of the their merry little band would go after reader. I think Sky might be best since he's a knight himself so he'd have a better idea what they were going through. Wind would also be an interesting option especially if it's after the whole "We're the same since we both made the active decision to save Hyrule!" moment. Both are good chances at bonding. Oh yeah I guess it's relevant that I see reader at an older teen age, like 16-17. Yay sibling dynamics (I say this like my only younger sibling doesn't drive me up a wall). I'll prolly add more later but I am tired. And I have a relatively early morning tomorrow.
Hope this was coherent but I actually had motivation for once so I went for it. If any clarification is needed just ask. Make sure to drink water and eat a snack! Self care is important to help prevent burnout. Have a lovely week. Good day/evening) ┌|o^▽^o|┘♪ See you maybe once I've slept and ate. Bye!!
Oh, I thought you going to go the path of Reader outranking Warrior and him not being able to do anything about it. ^.^*
It reminded me of that one post for Marvel where Tony got excited because Rhodey, being Colonel, outranked Steve and could tell him what to do.
I'd imagine if Warrior pulled out the whole "you suck as a soldier" Wild would have to push back a bit because if they suck, what does that make him? He died! Hello? At least Reader had something going for them. They still won in the end with minimal loses on their side.
Wild lost everyone.
So what does Warrior actually think of him then?

How I View the Twisted Wonderland Boys!
I don't hate or dislike anyone, but there are definitely characters I enjoy more than others. Here's how I categorized them:
🟣 I wish they were used in every event. Always wanting to see them more.
🔴 Smiling whenever they have their screentime.
🟡 Pleasant guys. Don't seek them out but enjoy them for the most part.
1. Azul Ashengrotto
Always entertaining and a joy to see. I usually don't like business/workaholic characters, but he's very well rounded and not dull. I like that he's always up to something and is usually smart about planning, but it's also amazing to watch his plans fall apart. Best aesthetic and I love his mer form.
2. Rook Hunt
Rook is weird. But in the best way possible. I like that he's a bit of a mystery, but his overall intentions seem to be pure hearted even if he creeps out the others. He's very passionate about beauty, but instead of being full of himself, he's always complimenting others.
3. Cater Diamond
Not enough to be in the purple tier, but I really like him! At first glance, he's a bit annoying and overly peppy. But there are subtle hints dropped throughout his scenes that show a more distant personality. He puts on a happy mask most of the time, but is actually subdued (and maybe even a bit lonely?)
4. Jade Leech
Polite and courteous, but up to something. His mushroom hobby is fun and quirky. I like that he usually keeps his motives hidden that gives him an air of mystery.
5. Vil Schoenheit
I had expected him to be overwhelmingly arrogant and vain, but I was glad to be wrong. He puts a lot of effort into himself and does a lot for his dorm. He's not without flaws, but he's a lot more put together than the others.
6. Floyd Leech
I love his chaotic energy and moods. Whenever he's involved, I know it's going to be a fun time.
7. Idia Shroud
If Idia was just a shy, otaku nerd, he'd be lower down on this list. However he's also very blunt and gives some of the funniest lines. I love it when he casually roasts the others. There's a good balance between his social anxiety and his more gremlin side.
8. Deuce Spade
Such a wholesome sweet guy. He's a bit dumb, but his heart is generally in the right place. I like when his old delinquent personality switches back in whenever one of his friends is getting messed with.
9. Lilia Vanrouge
A more controlled kind of chaotic. I don't think he'll start any of the chaos, but he'll join in. I also like that he can't cook but seems oblivious that no one else likes his food.
10. Jamil Viper
I feel bad that he puts himself down to make Kalim look better. He's carrying the whole of Scarabia on his back. Poor guy is just mentally exhausted all the time. I want him to get more recognition.
11. Silver
A very polite and gentle guy. He doesn't talk much and may possibly have narcolepsy, but he's very endearing. One of the more levelheaded characters. He reminds me a lot of Link from the Legend of Zelda series.
12. Ruggie Bucchi
Just a hustler trying to get by in life. Usually stays out of everyone's way, unless Leona puts him up to something. Probably the most underrated character.
13. Ace Trappola
Can be a little rude sometimes, but makes up for it by being funny. Thinks he's slick, but everyone around him can see through him. Should know better, but he doesn't.
14. Riddle Rosehearts
Honestly, he's just okay to me. Not the most interesting character among the bunch, but does complement others well in their interactions. Still a little too strict with rules. I love seeing him smile and being happy, especially the chibis, it's adorable.
15. Epel Felmier
I think he is cute, but I like him best when he's in "troublemaker" mode. Cares way too much about appearing manly. Really underrated.
16. Malleus Draconia
Initially, I thought he'd be my favorite, since the community seems to favor him and I also love Maleficent as a Disney villain. Though I found him a bit... underwhelming? His interest in gargoyles is neat and he's fairly chill for someone who's so powerful.
17. Jack Howl
His main thing is just training and getting stronger, which doesn't resonate with me all too much. But he has a lot of nice moments and cares about being honorable which I can respect.
18. Kalim Al-Asim
Sunshine characters aren't really my thing. I don't really like that he is oblivious to the harm some of his actions cause to others. He does contrast well with the rest of the characters, which can lead to some fun interactions.
19. Leona Kingscholar
I don't find him particularly entertaining most of the time and he seems kind of just there. Usually he's pretty rude, but not in a funny way. He's very perceptive and can be smart when he feels like it.
20. Ortho Shroud
Like with Kalim, I'm not really invested in him because of his consistent positivity. He's cute, but without Idia, I feel like he doesn't really have much of an impact on his own.
21. Trey Clover
Has cool unique magic, but doesn't stand out to me very much. He's usually non problematic, which makes him a little bland. He has grown on me, but I prefer scenes with other characters much more.
22. Sebek Zigvolt
The one character I nearly gave the blue/dislike. He's usually ranting about Malleus and that's what most of his character boils down to for me. Although I do admire his dedication even if it gets a little old.
Bonus Characters:
1. Dire Crowley
Either the main villain or a character with a tragic backstory. Both? He's at the top because while we don't know his motives, the mystery behind him is intriguing. I'd like him regardless of how his character is revealed later on. I have my own theories, but I'll keep them to myself for the time being...
2. Grim
Little chaos gremlin. Definitely a cat monster. He can be a bit annoying sometimes, but I feel like it's part of his charm. Plus I feel like he genuinely doesn't know better at times, he's still young and learning.
3. Sam
He's like Azul, but easier to trust. There's a lot of mystery about him, but it doesn't feel unsettling. Very chill and would be fun to hang out with and talk to.
4. Che'nya
Even though he doesn't appear much, he has a way of stealing the scenes he's in, a very memorable character. I never liked the Cheshire Cat in the 1951 animated version, but Che'nya is alright. Hope we see more of him if there's an RSA focused event.
5. Divus Crewel
I like that he loves dogs in contrast to Cruella, who wants to skin puppies. A little bit strict with his students, but in a good way. His design is amazing.
6. Mozus Trein
He's a little forgettable, if not for his cat and the history lessons. He seems pleasant enough, but I keep forgetting he's there a lot of the time.
7. Ashton Vargas
I love the villain he's based on, since he's so unsettling in an eerily realistic way. But Vargas is just a stereotypical gym bro guy. Nothing wrong with that, but his character could benefit from some more nuance.
8. Neige LeBlanche
Like with a few others from before, I don't care for joyful characters. I do not hate him, but I would be okay if he never appeared again outside of mentions. Unless he gets deeper character development than what we have seen so far.
Original template under the cut.

Hi Inferno I hope you’re doing good!!! I’ve been thinking about Michael a lot lately and I just wanted to get some insight from you (if you’re okay with revealing!!) BUT I’ve been wondering about Michael’s personality- from what I’ve seen on your blog, he feels a lot more cheeky and mischievous. He also feels like a chara who has ulterior motives (but maybe I’m thinking too much on that TToTT) I was just wondering what your inspo was to write him this way? I think it’s a cool spin on his chara, it definitely gives him a lot more life and feels fleshed out!! I’m so excited to see more of him later down the line, he feels like such a cheeky guy!!
Hii straw! This ask got me so happy oh my god you have no idea, michael is honestly my fav one write soley on the basis he's just so fun to psychoanalize and also on how much there is to explore with him as a character omg
Michaels whole deal is that he really NEEDS to be the "good guy" all the time in this very unrealistic "pure" ideal way (thats honestly unreachable) but at the same time just like oswald he's very mischievous and enjoys causing chaos but that alone goes against his idea of "good" even if its really not that serious so he supresses alot of those feelings...untill he finds someone "bad" it would be ok to let them out on of course
He can be very mischievous and as if honestly not more sassy than oswald but only in certain circumstances, that being when he's around someone who he can percive or mental gymnastic into a "bad guy" then all the gloves are off, what are his circumstances for someone being bad? That uh...depends, but mainly think haze code if you catch my drift
The thing is he puts this belief above his own judgment or feelings as painful as it can be for him sometimes, he can find a "good guy" annoying as all hell but will hold in any sass talk in
Also on the ulterior motives things YES he does have them! all the time too! I litellary thought abt making the song "ulterior motives" his theme but ultimatley went against it bc it would be too self aware for him and also it more so applies to his personal relationships rather than him as a whole, but while he is in like the biggest denial about it ever like im not kidding this is where writing him gets kinda hard starts but he has ulterior motives for most of his actions and relationships
he just tries fitting this perfect ideal pure so so much and has been for so long, yet under all those attempts and repression there is still him a harshly flawed, aware and painfully wishing to get out character that tries slipping through every possible acceptable break and loophole he can find
I tried explaining his character as much as I can here without going into his backstory because he is definitley the character who's past effects him (as well as oswald) the most, most of what i've just written goes back and roots from it, also now I feel is the good time to mention hes not in any way evil or bad just really flawed and bc of being in denial about it while pretending to be this ideal good guy sm he's holding himself away from growing and becoming accualy a better person like he wants to be
Also the inspo for writing him that way comes from many many diffrent directions like epic mickey, meta commentary, how over the years mickey got watered down more and more for sake of merchandising despite coming from era of experiments, the unreiable narration and honestly much more i tbh don't think I can list off some of things I have In mind
but the one and biggest inspo i have to list off is simply Hollywood
also just wanna throw ou there the "good guys and bad guys" world view really harshly applies to any authority figures even most minor ones for multiple reasons one of witch i can't reveal because its connected to his backstory too much
He is sm fun to write especialy since YOURE not suppoust to agree with him that often, also the other thing is he gets to accualy properly fuck up now without narrative coddling him up and concequences of his actions dancing off to the sunset
#Michael charm#Rubberverse#I love this#I love this ask#I love getting asked abt my stuff#Im a bit tired rn so I might edit this later but I hope this info dump is kinda explaining him better#He is driving me insane#I def fucked up something explaining it here#But id love to talk abt him more#As well as rubberverse#I need to start just infodumping more often#But also the spoilers-#Theres a whole ass character whos extremly important WHO I HAVE POSTED ABT OVER A YEAR AGO ONCE#who is like root important on both oswald and michael theres no story without that MF whom i hate#And I havent spoilerem anything about him for over a year if not 2 years and i think i deserve a treat for that#This ask was a gift for me or so it feels like it so it goes to#Fave#For bringing me joy

Thoughts, for some reason?
*CW Mental health, suicide (I'm fine!!), general existentialism
I'm not entirely sure WHY I'm writing this but it feels like something I wanted to do so... I'm doing it? I guess? I dunno. This will probably be pretty boring so don't feel like you need to read this at all!
For some reason, I always spend this time of year being oddly introspective. Maybe it's the seasonal depression! Maybe it's the end of the year! Maybe it's the fact that I'm another year older! Who knows. Regardless, I feel like I usually spend this day in particular wishing I weren't here anymore. Just thinking about how incredibly little I've done with my life, how I know I'm just a bit too much of a person to be anything but at least a mild annoyance to everyone around me, how foolish it is to feel like these are major concerns when there are so many people who are actually suffering.
But one thing I learned this year was that I found a lot of identity in who I was to other people and to the world. I lost a huge part of my identity when I changed careers, I had the worst PTSD trigger of my life so far earlier this year that sent me into such a spiral that - for a bit - I wasn't sure I'd still have my identity as a wife, either (turns out, when your fight or flight makes you take off and cut contact with almost everyone for days it scares the shit out of your spouse and that makes it so you have some stuff to work through - who knew?)
Another thing I learned? This whole writing thing makes it better. I've always been a writer but I've never put it out there. I wrote novels that have done nothing but sit in notebooks or Word documents, just so they'd exist somewhere outside my head. In some ways, the fact that those characters didn't exist anywhere else was good motivation to keep living, even when it felt like I didn't want to. I may not have felt like real people would particularly miss me but if I died then the people in my head would die, too, and isn't that sad for them?
And then I started writing fic this spring. Until I shared my first fic on AO3, I could count on one hand who had ever read my fiction writing (besides a short story here and there that got put in a school literary magazine or something.) It was never something I really counted as a serious part of myself, it was just on the same level as other things I do for fun. I never really felt like a writer. Turns out, sharing the writing helps me feel like a writer! I think it would still help if no one read it but you lovely people have made it even better. And it's nice to have an identity that feels like it belongs to just me. No one can take it away from me. I'm in control of it and I think that's been part of what's making stuff feel better than it usually does right now.
Anyway, this isn't to try to just throw my mental health stuff out there - which feels very weird to do even though I don't feel like I've tried to hide it or anything like that? I don't know. I think I'm just doing this to say sharing these stories means a lot to me? That identity means more to me than I really understood before now? That it's been nice to find this part of myself?
Regardless, I'm happy that things are feeling better this year. I'm happy I have stories to tell. And, even if no one ever reads another word I write, I'm happy you're here, too.
Love you!! ❤️
#fanfic#writing#I might just delete this later because it feels very whiny and vulnerable but also I felt compelled to share something so here we are#mental health

My Boyfriend's Back Chapter Thirty-Two
A/N: After having a long conversation with my best friend and her helping pull me out of my anxiety induced overthinking spiral to hell, I have decided to keep the chapter I wrote. I added something stuff, and maybe it so you should know who is talking.
For those confused. Someone on wattpad said they couldn't understand who was and wasn't talking, and it sent me into a spiral yesterday. That is why I deleted it.
But just know that my mental state is still fragile at the moment, so if someone tells me they still don't understand, I will probably do something stupid, like delete the whole story. Anyway, here ya go.
YN
"You good?" Derek nodded and caught the pants that were thrown at him. "Thanks," He said and slipped the pants on. Sidney just looked at him confused and hurt. I knew exactly what was going on. Derek was one of the ghostfaces, but there was no way he killed anyone. The guy might be going to school to be a doctor but he definitely couldn't kill someone. He's too much of a pussy for that.
I started chuckling but not because it was funny. Because it made total fucking sense in a way that didn't make sense. "What's so funny?" Derek asked. "It's always the fucking boyfriend! Makes total sense, but also fucking doesn't because Derek is a fucking pussy!" I looked at Sid and threw my hands up. "He knew who you were the whole fucking time! He knew exactly what you went through, Sid!"
I turned back to the right and pointed my finger at the other person, Derek's partner. The person that had me and Sid in complete shock. "You…you I kind of understand. But not fully. So tell me, why? What's your motive?" I asked. I got a smile and a little laugh from them. One of those laughs that happen when you think back on a really good memory.
"I met Stu a year ago. He walked into the store I was working in and I recognized him right away. Of course his hair was black when I met him and not blond like it is now. I didn't tell him I knew who he was right away. Instead I offered him a place to stay and got to know him." I couldn't help but picture Stu with black hair. I shook my head and continued to listen to them drone on about meeting him.
"Then a week later I ended up confessing I knew who he was. He wasn't too happy about that at first but I was able to calm him down and reassure him I wasn't going to say anything. I found it so fascinating how his mind worked. He told me everything that happened and how he and Billy planned it and how he got away. In that span of time I found myself falling for him."
A part of me didn't want to believe that Stu had something to do with this, but my rational side knew he did. I knew from the very beginning that he had something to do with all this shit. But on the other hand I was also trying to not let my jealousy show. I was trying to make it seem like I didn't give a fuck.
"Well, you know how he is. Ridiculously handsome, caring, a complete goofball. I mean the liver alone joke! How could you not laugh at that?! It was fucking hilarious! He's so charming. I can see why you feel for him."
I rolled my eyes and looked over at Sidney who was giving me a confused look. I could feel the guilt start to bubble up inside of me. I've been messing around with him behind everyone's backs. I keep telling myself I don't want him. I don't want anything to do with him. My brain is the rational one. It's my heart that's stupid. I looked away from Sidney and looked back at the bitch standing in front of me.
"You know, I've been trying and trying and trying…" She took a step every time she said "trying" and was now only a foot from me. She looked me in the eye, anger clear as day behind them. "To get him to see me, but all he sees is you! I've done everything to try and get him to look at me the way he does you. But no…he's obsessed with you!" I wiped off the spit that landed on my cheek.
"I even tried getting rid of that geek of yours! After hearing him talk about Stu the way he did. I couldn't control myself. It was perfect though, don't you think? But of course, YOU had to get in the way. God, I thought he would have been happy but he was so pissed off because you got hurt. He was pissed when you got stabbed too. It's always about you. I've even gotten down on my knees for him."
My hands balled up into fists and I could feel the anger clawing to get out. My jaw tensed and I did everything to keep myself from pouncing on her and ripping her throat out. I could feel Sidney's eyes boring into the side of my head. I spared a quick glance at her and I knew she saw straight through me. I put up this front that I feel nothing for Stu, but she knows. She knows that I'm still in love with him.
I looked back at the bitch that kept running her mouth. She had let out a chuckle. Ine that said she was proud of herself for getting to me. "Oh…does that piss you off? Thinking about me on my knees in front of him with his c…"
she didn't even get to finish her sentence because I jumped at her. Of course, I didn't get my hands around her neck like I wanted because Derek stopped me with a knife to my throat. "Don't even try it," he told me. I looked up at him and then to the knife in his hand.
"Someone's touchy. Did I hit a nerve?" My gaze flicked back to the bitch in front of me. Before I could say anything though Sidney spoke up. "That's why you were always asking about Stu. That's why you wanted to know what he was really like before him and Billy did what they did. What are you getting at here, Hallie? You're doing this because you're jealous of my sister?" She asked, Hallie.
She then directed her attention to Derek, "I don't understand…why? Why are you doing this?" She asked. She had pain in her eyes, begging for him to tell her this was some cruel joke. He gave her an answer just not the one she wanted to hear.
"I did know who you were when we met at that party last year to welcome the freshman. I've actually been obsessed with you since I saw you on the news after what happened. I met Hallie when she came on a tour her senior year of high school. I was a freshman here. We started talking about you two and it eventually got to where she told me she knew Stu and could guarantee that I would be able to meet you because she knew that you two were going to come here," he told her.
"He wanted you and I wanted to get rid of yn," Hallie said. Our attention then turned back to her as she continued. "Make Stu see that I'm better than she is. Oh, and of course there is someone else helping us, but he seems to have pissed off somewhere." She threw her hands in the air.
Taking a deep breath she continued, "Anyway, I told Stu I would help him scare you enough that you'd run into his arms every time he showed up. That we could make the sequel he and Billy wanted. Our other partner had other ideas though and messed the plan up but I guess it all worked out. I promised Stu you wouldn't die but…after yesterday night…knowing that you slept with Stu and he was with you the whole night!"
My eyes casted over to Sidney and she gave me a confused look and I just shook my head. It was stupid to lie when she knew the truth. I've been scared that someone would either find out or that if I decided to tell someone they wouldn't believe me.
I looked away from Sidney and back at Hallie with a blank look. "I don't know what the fuck you're talking about. I haven't seen Stu Macher since he and Billy tried killing us. So if you do have contact with him…then he's just trying to make you do his dirty work. He feels nothing for you and never will. You're just a little puppet."
She screamed, running at me and tackled me to the ground, hands around my neck, and yelling how she was going to kill me. I heard Sidney gasp and say my name. She tried to move forward but Derek wrapped his arms around her from behind and held the knife to her just like Billy had. "Sorry, but I can't let you do that, babe."
