I’ve been having trouble with face shading lately so here’s a realistic study of Jason Tam that I’ve been working on

OK this isn’t technically a fandom confession but I NEED to share this with someone because it’s fucking bonkers. My school has a summer arts program, and the high schoolers are doing LSoH this summer (auditions are in three days I’m so excited). Anyway there’s a guy that always does the shows/gets leads whose dad happens to be the vice principal of our school. So earlier, the dad asked the kid what show he would recommend we do for summer arts and he said Little Shop. Great choice, we agreed. But the kid is also getting top surgery soon and can’t go to auditions/dance for a few weeks, and he really wanted to be Audrey II. SO, the directors of the show just said “send in a video of you singing Suppertime, and we’ll give you the part.”
IDK, it sucks because he always gets leads and there’s a much better fit for Twoey in the cast who’s never had a real lead before even tho they’re incredibly talented. IDK if they felt bad for him bc he’s getting surgery, or if they just wanted to cast him bc he always gets great parts, or if it’s because his dad is in a position of power at the school, but either way I think it’s shitty that he gets to “skip the line” (not my words) and get a part automatically. Obviously it’s great that you’re getting top surgery dude but just let someone else have a part :(

Yes, Greece still exists, we didn't all die 2000 years ago. Yes, people speak Greek. You people are so fucking stupid for real. So many of you claim to love ancient shit but can't even acknowledge the actual living culture of the people whose mythology and classics you romanticize. You keep leaving annoying comments about how you just forget Greek people still exist, thinking you're being quirky because you love ancient stuff soooo much that you forgot about the people it came from. You think about it so little you don't even realize that an actual Greek person has to read this shit, making it clear how little you actually care about the culture beyond the romanticized (and westernized) mythology. Don't claim you love Greece, don't use our mythology anymore if you can't acknowledge that we're still around without making it about how little you think about us. It's mind boggling that you'd think a Greek person would read this and think you're anything but obnoxious. Explode.

listen I don't like aemond but him letting larys think he was about to become hand and letting him start his little Oscar-thank-you-speech to immediately cutting him off like "ew not you. you set ur family on fire little ugly toad. fetch me grandpappy otto" was almost cartoonishly hilarious
