he was ecstatic when you showed up with the little girl’s hand in yours

“oh my goodness aren’t you so cute?!” he gushed squatting down to get on her eye level

she hid her behind your legs in embarrassment

the day was spent playing various games like hide and seek easing your niece into the unfamiliar surroundings

at one point when she settled down watching television hyunsuk couldn’t help but look at you saying

but when he told you practice was cancelled for the day he decided to join in on baking

walking in the dorm shaking your shoulders trying to get rid of snow that’s when you saw the welcome sign

as you walked into the living your room you sat down on the couch putting your nephew on the floor so that he could crawl around

he then crawled to yedam’s guitar playing with the strings laughing at the funny noise it was making

you were picking up your 5 year old nephew from school wanting to see doyoung since his dorms was on the way back home

he was surprised to see you but even more surprised when you brought your nephew as well

since it was a beautiful day out you all decided to go to the small park behind the dorms

all three of you decided to play a game of soccer while doyoung was giving your nephew some pointers

you smiled at the wholesome interaction while your nephew looked up at him in admiration

when you gently passed her over to haruto he smiled

jeongwoo ran after her trying to catch her

“come here baby!” he giggled making funny animal noises trying to get her attention

finally scooping her up he gave her a small kiss on the cheek

you pouted until he saw your face giving you a small kiss on your pouty lips

Kim Hongjoong:

It was after a party that you guys had with the boys that he found out. They were in the process of cleaning up, and all that was left was to take down the balloons, which he was doing. Being bored with nothing to do, you absentmindedly began to play around with a few decorations, making them float around in mid air. It was Wooyoung's piercing scream that had everyone's attention on the floating confetti that currently was making weird shapes.

"I fucking told you that old lady looked like a witch! But you still bought the decorations from her!" Mingi began exclaiming, as he shielded himself behind Yunho's body.

"How was I supposed to know she'd voodoo curse them?!" Hongjoong tried defending himself, but was scared to death as well.

Coming out of your trance, you realized you had to come clean about your telekinetic powers before they developed high blood pressure.

"Guys it's not demons...... it's me." You let out a sigh.

"Babe, now is not the time for jokes! The room has bad vibes and we gotta call an exorcist!" Hongjoong wasted no time and threw you over his shoulder as they all made a break for the door.

You protested, saying you'd prove it by opening the door, which you did, leaving them all stunned and frozen in place. You finally convinced him after moving objects that he asked you to move. Realization hit him that his girlfriend has super powers. He'd be so upset that you never told him.

"And in the 2 years we've been dating, you couldn't mention that fact instead of making me believe that other demons besides San existed?!"

Park Seonghwa:

You and Seonghwa had a very loving and open relationship, full of trust, neither of you hiding anything from the other..... Well except the fact you have the ability to know what anyone is thinking, even from kilometers away. You could just block it out, but being curious, more often than not, you found yourself wanting to know what your boyfriend was thinking. Even when he was away on tour, you connected your mind to his. Needless to say, sometimes there were some very impure thoughts at times, not that you minded.

It was one night, you two almost nearing your first year anniversary. Seonghwa and you were cuddled up in bed, just looking at each other and placing innocent kisses. But you knew better, you could hear how Seonghwa wanted to go further but obviously wasn't going to, thinking you weren't ready.

"I am ready and I want to." You casually blurted out.

"What?" He simply asked.

"I know you want to go further, and I want to as well." You assured him.

He blushed a little and ruffled your hair. "Wow it's like you can actually read my mind."

Biting down on your lip, you looked back up at him. "I can....."

Of course, he only released a soft chuckle, thinking you were obviously joking, cause no one can read minds. You proved that to be untrue, citing down examples of times you read his thoughts. You even made him think of several things, some deemed impossible to guess, and accurately relayed those thoughts into words. You left him stunned for sure, even flustered by your ability.

"Does that mean you even heard what I was planning to get you as an anniversary gift?" He asked, genuinely worried the surprise was ruined.

You poked his nose, assuring him you won't find out.

Jeong Yunho:

To say that Yunho loved how small you were compared to him is an understatement. He adored how tiny you were, it made him feel like your knight in shining armor, your personal protector and boosted his confidence in you needing him for stereotypical manly things, such as opening a jar a pickles.

What Yunho didn't know was that even though you seemed tiny and fragile, you possessed super human strength. You rarely showed it off though, preferring to keep a low profile and if it made your boyfriend happy, why spoil it? Unfortunately, your boyfriend likes to be spontaneous, dropping in on you randomly. It was during one of those surprise visits that he witnessed your true potential, in the form of you lifting up your marble dresser with one hand, like it was nothing more than a basketball. He just stood there with his mouth open, silence for what seemed an eternity.

"Well say something!" You finally exclaimed, hating the silence.

"How long have you had that power?" Yunho simply asked.

"Since birth........ are you mad?" You wondered if he'd be upset about finding out this information.

Instead, he just picked you up and spun you around rather happily.

"Are you kidding?! My tiny girlfriend has super strength! Is there anything cooler than that?"

Yes, he was ecstatic about this discovery.

"Do you know what this means?!" He asked you.

"What?"

"You'd beat Jongho in an arm wrestling match! Oh how I'd love to see his shocked face" A mischievous grin spread across his face just picturing the maknae's face.

"The possibilities are endless baby!"

Kang Yeosang:

You had a super natural ability of healing faster than any human possibly could. If a bullet shot you, you'd feel it as nothing more than a punch and in a couple hours you'd be perfectly fine. Not that the situation ever happened, just an example. And you weren't really the clumsy, accident prone type, so rarely ever needed to make use of your ability.

Which is why you often forgot about it and therefore never told Yeosang about your special gift. But it became known when he was playing around in the company building. While distracted by something, he left his skateboard on top of the stairs, and you happened to be walking over to see him. Holding a bucket of chicken, you didn't see his skateboard and therefore tripped on it, causing you to fall down an entire flight of stairs. Yeosang ran over to you, panic all over his face thinking about all the damage you probably had, he definitely heard bones cracking. But to his surprise, you sat up just fine, only rolled your shoulders back, looking in mint condition.

"You literally just fell down about 20 stairs, how are you not dead?" He questioned you.

You then remembered about your super natural healing and proceeded to explain why you're fine to him. He was silent for a while, but then nodded in understanding.

"Are you sure you're fine? Nothing's broken?" He was still worried about your well being.

"Just my shoulder popped out of place, but I put it back when I rolled them back." You assured him that you were fine and he had nothing to worry about.

You did however scold him for leaving his things scattered randomly. Had it been anyone else, he probably would have been guilty of an accidental murder.

Choi San:

Growing up, you enjoyed your ability to become invisible, both figuratively and literally. You liked keeping to yourself and didn't mind that no one ever noticed you. However someone did notice you eventually, and his name was Choi San. His eyes were always on you since day one and you were all he could see. It took a while, but he finally won you over and the relationship was going wonderful.

The problem arose when he started becoming more bold, more teasing towards you, that's when you weren't able to keep secret that you could disappear into thin air. Knowing fully well you just finished showering and were probably changing right now, he decided to 'accidentally' walk in on you naked. As soon as he opened the door though, the cheeky grin he had was replaced by utter confusion when you turned invisible before he could even get a good look at you.

"Holy crap! What the-!" He could not process what happened and became even more scared when all he heard was your voice telling him to get out and wait for you in the living room.

After putting on clothes and calming him down, you told him that you had invisibility powers. San was amazed and curious about your strange yet unique ability. He proceeded to ask you many questions, which you happily answered to him.

"Ok but if you turn invisible right now, would I be able to touch you?" He asked, while simultaneously reaching his hand to your face.

Song Mingi:

You honestly loved your ability to fly. Sometimes if you had a bad day, you'd just go to a secluded area and fly around without a care in the world. It proved to be somewhat therapeutic for you when you were stressed or sad. You hardly needed to make use of it after meeting Mingi, he was such a ray of sunshine and always there for you, that he became what you needed if you were having a tough time. He never knew about that part of your life of course.

Until one day when he was busy with schedule and you felt bored. You found yourself walking to your favorite place and began reminiscing about old times. Soon you were just happily flying around, thinking no one was around to see you enjoy what you had missed for a while. But Mingi saw. After a canceled schedule, he went looking for you, and having mentioned before that this was your go to place, he went looking for you. He did found you, flying around trees and seeing how gravity didn't affect you at all. Once you finally noticed him, you panicked and came straight back to solid ground.

"How, how long have you been watching?" You fidgeted nervously with your fingers.

"A good 5 minutes." He simply replied.

Your heart sank. What if he didn't like you after this? What if he thought you were weird? What if he would never want to see you after this?

He seemed to notice what you were thinking and he was quick to push your worries aside, pulling you into an embrace and kissing the top of your head. That said it all for you. He loved you and this wasn't gonna change anything.

"So.....by any chance, can you hold my hand and take me flying with you?"

Jung Wooyoung:

You came from a family of shape shifters. Your parents, siblings, aunts and uncles, could all shift into some type of terrifying beast. Wolves, tigers, lions, alligators, bears, you name it. So why the hell were you only able to transform into a weak little kitten? It was embarrassing for you growing up and for that reason you avoided shifting all together, it caused you to have low self esteem.

When Wooyoung came into your life, it was like a breath of fresh air. He made you feel beautiful in every possible way and suddenly you were more confident in yourself. Wooyoung never questioned what made you so insecure, knowing you wouldn't want to talk about it. Eventually he had to find out though, and he did during a family gathering of yours. While he was looking around the pictures, he noticed a lot were of fearsome animals. When he questioned you about it, you took a deep breath, and pointed out that they were your family. He didn't believe you obviously, until he witnessed for himself a few of your relatives morphing into their animal forms. He was genuinely intrigued by this and of course, wanted to dug deeper.

"So what do you turn into?"

You simply turned away, not wanting him to know and refusing every time he asked.

"Why not?!" He screeched.

"Because it's embarrassing!" You hollered.

"Come on! I just saw your grandfather turn into a black bear and scratch his ass on a tree, how embarrassing could it be?"

Sighing softly, you gave up and slowly morphed into the tiniest and cutest ragdoll kitten he had seen. A smile crept up on his face, before bursting into laughter.

"Stop laughing! It's not funny!" Your squeaky kitten voice piped out.

"I'm sorry baby! It's just that it's too adorable!" He was definitely enjoying this.

Choi Jongho:

Speed was your thing. There was nothing that was faster than you on this earth. And it was somewhat euphoric for you. The adrenaline that rushed through you every time you ran faster than light was indescribable. You often wanted to show off your skills, but avoided it knowing how nosey people could be.

You felt attracted to Jongho because of his strength. You often wondered if maybe he was just like you, but you found out that wasn't the case. He had his limits. But you didn't. Of course, you wanted to tell him, you felt sure he wouldn't judge you or pester you about your speed. But you could never find the right moment. It came spontaneously, like the many things in your life. It was when you were watching him workout. Repairs were being made on the ceiling and that's what caused a small piece of it to fall off, almost landing on Jongho had it not been for you pushing him to the opposite side of the room, you landing on top of him.

He just blinked as he processed what just happened.

"Did you just yeet us into another dimension?" He chuckled.

You blushed and laughed softly before proceeding to tell him everything. He didn't need any more proof than what just happened.

"I always knew you were my special girl." He winked at you.

Last thing you bought online? Did you like it? OMG OMG so I got Angela an Army Bomb!!!!!! for her birthday!!!! It was HELLLL looking for sealed ones that were already onhand, but fortunately I was able to find one from this really nice seller a few days ago and the shipping was quick as well. I’m just a little worried because the outbox has a little dent on it :( but it was the best onhand offer I could find so I got it before anybody could call dibs. I still hope she likes it! I got her batteries too so that she can try lighting it up as soon as she has it. :D

Could you date someone who didn’t drive (and didn’t show an interest in ever getting their license, either)?  I feel like this is such a petty thing to make a big deal about...if they knew how to commute or any other way to get to their destination, I don’t think this should be a problem. It would only be an issue to me if they refused to get a license in a very I-generally-lack-ambition kind of way.

How would you react if your artwork became famous?  I don’t have any to show off to begin with. I love appreciating art, but creating it was never a forte of mine.

Would you get your nipples pierced?  No, I don’t plan on getting any piercings. How many people know your birthday?  Outside of my family, my best friends. I think everyone else relies on Facebook to be reminded, which is fine with me.

Has anyone ever tried to ruin a relationship you were in?  No. Quite the contrary, really...I was sometimes informed about red flags taking place, which of course my stubborn ass ignored.

Have you ever watched a whole hour long infomercial?  Probably, as a kid. The channel from which I used to watch WWE aired these really long infomercials so I would watch those while waiting for like Raw or whatever show was going on after.

Are there any themes from TV shows that you like to sing along to? The Big Bang Theory and Friends; and then I also liked humming to the themes of Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, and BoJack Horseman. The Phineas & Ferb theme was also a lot of fun to sing along to.

Do you eat dessert after dinner? No, I never do that. I’m usually already full after dinner, and we don’t always have sweets at home anyway.

When you go out drinking, what do you prefer to drink?  Cocktails. I very rarely go for hard drinks/shots, especially if I brought my own car.

What was the last thing that you said to one of your siblings?  I just told my sister I was done using her laptop so she can have it back. My Memories of 2020 DVD turned out to be region-locked so I have to use her laptop every time I want to watch it :(

Have you ever learned something shocking about someone through Facebook?  I mean I’ve had to learn about more than one family death through my Facebook feed, which sucks but is nothing I have control over. Otherwise the most shocking thing I’ve seen is probably classmates from high school having their own kids, but at this point I’m used to it already.

What’s the scariest living animal that you’ve petted?  I’m not really afraid of carrying/petting animals especially if there’s a guide or expert nearby, but the most daring one was probably the crocodile I volunteered to hold in Palawan.

You were in your room hanging out with your boyfriend of 3 years, Harry, when you were interrupted by your mom, “Y/N, I just got off the phone with your aunt from Udaipur, she has invited us for her daughter’s wedding, so you better start packing. Hello Harry.” she ordered before leaving.

You were 5 when you moved to Kingston from India, and your neighbors, the Hollands made you and your family very welcome and soon enough your friendship with Harry turned into something more.

You groaned as your mother left you with the news, you loved visiting India but it always annoyed you how your relatives said how white washed you were. Harry noticed your very obvious annoyed behavior, and thought of an idea which might make your trip better.

“Can I come?” he asked, ripping you out of your thoughts. You looked and him confusingly.

“Wha- why?”

“For many reasons. First, I’ll get to meet the rest of your family; second, India is a very beautiful country so it’ll be a great opportunity for me to take some photos and third,” he moved closer to you and holding your hands in his, “maybe you could take me sight seeing?” He asked with hope in his eyes. “Really? I mean are you sure? My family back home is very judgmental, you sure you’ll be able to handle it?”

“Of course! I mean we got your parents approval to date, so bad could it be?” You threw your head back laughing on how ignorant your boyfriend was of your family. “Oh, Harry you naive little boy.”

“I’m being serious!” he said sternly.

“Wow, really?”

“Please?”

“Ok, I’ll ask my mum.” When you went down to inform you mother she had the same reaction as you. “Beta, I fine with it but I really can’t say about your relatives.” she shrugged. “So can I take that as a yes?”

“Yes, he can come.” You were about to go and deliver the good news to Harry when she stopped you in your tracks. “But he is your responsibility.”

“We’re not kids mum!” you groaned.

The next two weeks went by too quickly, checking flights, packing etc., From the time you arrived at the airport to the drive home, you could see how Harry’s face lit at the beautiful scenes of the city and how quick he was of capturing them on his camera. Settling in you kept your outfit ready for your cousins Mendhi ceremony the next day.

As you woke up with the sun, got ready for the day full of fun. You wore a teal green and pink ghagra choli, which was the first time Harry saw you wearing traditional wear, his jaw nearly dropped when he first saw you. Likewise for you it was Harry’s first time wearing a traditional kurta, he surely was trying his best to impress the rest of your family and by the looks of it, it was working out great so far.

As the celebrations began you found your self rather busy with catching up with your family and introducing Harry to some of them. When you were called by your aunts to apply mendhi on your hands you left your boyfriend with cousins, but somehow he managed to sneak out and find you.

“Things are going well I suppose?” you snickered.

“A bit.” He admitted shyly. While one of the ladies finished drawing the design on your hand she asked you if your “husband” wanted your initials on his palm, when you looked at him he was confused like as if he’d done something wrong.

“What’s wrong?” he asked.

“She’s asking me if you want my initials on your palm, they say the darker it is, the more deeper and stronger your love is for me.” you informed. Without sparing a second he shoved his palm in front of the lady enthusiastically making everyone giggle at his excitement.

A few hours later while you were busy catching up with your cousins suddenly the music and chattering of all the guests stopped, a certain curly haired boy standing in middle of the dance floor caught your attention, and one of your favorite song starts playing; badtemeez  dil.

Your jaw was wide open when the curly boy revealed himself who was none other than your boyfriend. As the beat continued, he very smoothly danced to you and closed your mouth, returning back to the dance floor.

For you Harry was always that guy would rarely dance in front of people, if you knew bringing him to India would bring a different side of him you would have done it sooner.

What was even more surprising was that Harry learnt every single step from the movie, and it was at that moment you realized to what lengths he could go to prove his love for you to everyone.

Rock and roll the night away!

What better way to escape than getting lost in music? Headphones on, thoughts off - nothing like some good bops to help get you through the day.

KK Slider's been looking into expanding his musical repertoire so he's been playing around with different genres in hopes of creating a brand new sound. And that's how rock and roll night came to be!

Joining us on this musical adventure are Sonja, with her siblings Robbie and Tiffy, and cousin Bubba. It's been ages since Daisy Jane and I have last hung out with Sonja so it's nice that she and her fam dropped by for a visit. I've hung out with Robbie and Bubba a handful of times while this is the first time I've met Tiffy.

Sonja's been meaning to stop by the camp for a while but life has gotten busy. She also wanted her dad and stepmom to come along too but then something came up so they were unable to make it at the last minute. Same thing for her grandma, though to be honest, camping isn't really her thing so it's probably for the best that she didn't come.

Old Thelma Lou may come across as a cantankerous old lady but she really is a nice person once you get to know her. Underneath that rough exterior is a protective, dedicated, and tough mother figure who wants what's best for you, even if she kinda has a hard time showing how much she cares about you. We video chatted with her before the concert and she's still the same old Thelma Lou, keeping an eye on her children, grandchildren, and their friends in her own unconventional ways.

We also chatted with Buzz and Skeeter, both who are doing well. The reason why they weren't able to join us at the camp is because Skeeter's pregnant again. She and Buzz were going to have a boy last fall but there were complications and the baby was stillborn. So far things are moving along smoothly, but to be safe, Skeeter's on strict bed rest. In about four months, Sonja, Robbie, and Tiffy will have a little sister!

Sonja has been busy working on her graphic novel, which she plans to release in the fall. She's a freelance graphic designer and illustrator, known for posting relatable and funny comics online. I love her art - it's got a sketchy and loose style that's sorta minimal yet super expressive. When I got into digital art, I took some inspiration from Sonja's work by using pencil brushes for line art and the gouache brush for coloring.

After working in the studio for hours on the book over the past several weeks, Sonja felt she could use a change of scenery - which was the main reason why she wanted to come to the camp. She also wants to get back into using traditional mediums like painting so she brought along some canvases and paints. The great outdoors is perfect for finding inspiration when you're in a rut!

Robbie runs a fix-it shop in Elmstown with two of his friends. His specialties are clocks and anything that has a lock thanks to his grandma and dad - Thelma Lou likes collecting clocks and Buzz's a locksmith. He's the reason why the family saves so much on repairs - Robbie and his friends can pretty much fix anything! Elmstown is pretty far but I'm keeping his business card in case I need something fixed like my computer since that'll be more cost effective than sending it to the store where I'll probably get overcharged.

It's a good thing we have Robbie here to help KK Slider with the equipment. He had some old amps and guitars that he'd been meaning to get fixed but since they were custom made, it's hard to find parts that need replacement. Thankfully, Robbie never leaves home without his toolbox and with his magic, we were able to improve the stage setup.

Bubba's still living with Thelma Lou, though he's in the process of moving out to his own place. He's not leaving Rayetown though, just moving to the other side of town so he can be closer to the post office. Along with delivering packages for the citizens of Rayetown, Bubba's also a drummer and occasional lead singer for The Cogwheels, a local band that regularly performs at the Chili Bowl.

Thelma Lou and Bubba have a sweet relationship. He's the oldest of the Harp grandchildren through Thelma Lou's daughter. His parents pretty dumped him on Thelma Lou's doorstep when they moved halfway across the country, which wasn't very nice of them. His mom and grandma have a stormy relationship so that explains why Thelma Lou's kinda overprotective of him, and in return he respects her a lot. Recently though, Bubba and his mom have been keeping in touch sporadically - thanks to Uncle Buzz and Aunt Skeeter. As for his dad though, since he walked out on his mom, he hasn't heard from him in years, which he feels is probably for the best.

And there's Tiffy, the youngest (so far) of the grandchildren. She's seven and a half years old and likes to sing and dance. This is her first time being away from home for a couple days so she's pretty excited about it. Plus, she gets to spend time with her siblings, something she always looks forward to since they live far from home. By the time she was born, Sonja and Robbie had already long moved out of Rayetown. Up until Tiffy came along, Sonja and Robbie rarely visited home, a deliberate choice that they both kinda regretted but at the same time felt it was necessary.

Tiffy's looking forward to the new baby - and she's absolutely certain that things will work out this time. She was really bummed about what happened with her brother, especially since she always wanted a little sibling. Buzz and Skeeter had been trying for years to have another kid - they didn't have Tiffy until about six years into their marriage - and that was after being told many times that they missed the boat. It's a good thing they didn't give up or else Tiffy wouldn't be here today!

While helping KK Slider set up for the concert, we also went sightseeing outside the camp. Now that the weather's warming up and the sun's staying out longer, we can venture further out. The first place we went was the mountains, where Sonja was inspired to pull out her canvases and paints. She's been working on landscapes and backgrounds so it was the perfect opportunity. Since she had a lot of fun doing that, I figured we could do the same in other places outside the camp like the woods or the meadows.

As they were testing out the equipment, KK and Bubba were jamming out while Tiffy danced. She definitely inherited Buzz and Skeeter's dance skills! Tap dancing and ballet are her favorites and she definitely wants to branch out to other forms of dance. Her parents are looking into more dance classes for Tiffy, which she's excited for. One of the reasons why she's looking forward to having another sibling is so she can have a dance partner in the future. Imagine, Tiffy and her little sister, dancing together!

Later, Robbie joined in on the jam session, playing the bass. Apollo, Static, and Cherry joined in as well, and before we knew it, all of them were writing new songs that eventually became the setlist for the concert! Sonja later got into the jam session after Daisy Jane showed her around the cabin and her studio. I sense a collaboration between the two in the near future...

Around 5 we finished setting up for the concert and began preparing for a barbecue dinner. By the time all the food was set up, it was time to rock and roll! I have to say, KK and the campers really outdid themselves with the stage setup. It was a mix of performances by KK Slider and jam sessions by us. The concert was an awesome experience!

In the span of one hour, Bubba and KK wrote Road Ode. KK came up with the intricate melody that's a perfect fusion of his signature sound along with elements of classic rock. Bubba came up with the lyrics, taking inspiration from his relationships with his mother and grandma. Easily one of the highlights of the night.

Apollo sang lead on a number he co-authored with KK Slider titled Old Man Blues. It's a bluesy rock and roll tune with a catchy guitar riff that's stuck in my head as I write this. The light show visuals really add to the vibe of this song, elevating it to another level.

Static and Cherry performed Heavy Metal Ballad as a trio with KK Slider - another song that was just finished today. The song was actually three different compositions that merged into one. Cherry has been playing around with a cool heavy metal beat for a while. She had a good thing going on but had trouble turning it into something, so she put it aside in hopes of finding the right spark to kick it off. Static came up with lyrics for the chorus, originally through a little ditty he called Lightning Muses. And like Cherry, he had something but couldn't figure out what direction he wanted to take it. Then along comes KK Slider, who saw the potential in these two wildly different compositions. Somehow, with his verses and additional melodies, he created an instant hit!

In an unexpected surprise, KK Slider got Daisy Jane and I on to perform a new KK original as well as a couple songs from Lilac and the Cadillacs. The new song, Sky Blue Twilight, is a collaboration between me, Daisy Jane, and KK Slider. It was something we came up with a while back, and I had almost forgotten about it until today. I'm pretty rusty from songwriting but working on this piece was pretty fun! I really should get back into writing music...

Sonja, Robbie, and Tiffy also joined Bubba on stage for another new song, titled All That Rock 'n' Roll. Tiffy sang lead vocals with Sonja on the keys and Robbie on bass. Along with being a fantastic dancer, Tiffy's a great singer! I filmed the whole thing for Bubba so he can send it to Thelma Lou, Buzz, and Skeeter. I have to say, KK Slider and Bubba make a great songwriting team!

Another fun song is Violet Blaze, an upbeat rock and roll tune by KK Slider, Candi, Kabuki, and Spike. KK Slider really outdid himself on that guitar solo! With riffs like that, there's no other song fitting to be titled Violet Blaze. What one can't put into words, music expresses it - one just has to listen and feel.

And of course, in between the new songs were KK Slider classics, but remixed. It's amazing how changing up the genre can give well known songs a fresh makeover! That's what I love about KK Slider's music - the versatility. In terms of reinventing his sound while staying true to himself, I'd say KK Slider succeeded with flying colors!

Aside from Tiffy and the early risers, the rest of us have been rocking and rolling way past midnight. I'm still a bit buzzed from the concert, which just ended less than an hour ago, so I'm gonna unwind for a bit before going to bed.

top 3 moments in a show that made you ugly cry: Not that many things make me ugly cry, but definitely the bit at the end of Doomsday in Doctor Who where Rose and the Doctor get separated by the rift...I definintely bawled at a couple of moments in OUAT, and definitely at a few in the Untamed, mainly episode 32

the earth, the sun, the moon or the stars: the stars. When I was in high school my dad and I went up to Scotland to go skiing and it got to -20Csomething (which is VERY rare for Scotland), and it was crystal clear. I’ve never seen so many stars, it was awe inspiring.

Emotionally healed, a lot. I don't think some things will ever fully scar over, but nevertheless, I don't mentally have fuckin gashes in me. Have you ever struggled with your weight? Ever since the breakup, yes. I thought I was slightly fat before then, but looking at pictures now, I just think "damn hunny u look gud" and realize I was perfectly healthy. But anyway, I was put on a medication called Abilify (full-on name droppin', fuck this med), and it MURDERED my metabolism. I could eat a fuckin carrot and gain five pounds, probably. Emotional eating probably contributed too, but here's the thing: my current doctor took me off of it, knowing the moment I mentioned it that it was not only bad for me and my conditions but also responsible for the extreme weight gain? Pounds dropped like a ton of bricks, and this started before my emotional eating began to die off and regulate. I lost around 80 pounds just from dropping a goddamn pill. Part One: Slow Down ~Seth Clearwater

A/n: This is what I'm calling the Dance series I guess? There's going to be two parts basically, and it's going to be the same idea as I Think I Got You Beat- it has a song you can listen to while reading, but I'm not going to go word for word like my other prompts. Needed some variety so here's some Seth!

Additionally: I don’t hate imprinting, this is just my quick take on a fun possibility :)

"You've GOT to be kidding me."

Seth shook his head as he spotted the girl he didn't really recognize past what he'd heard about her. She was new to La Push- something about her parents being unfit, so she was sent to live with her aunt and uncle, who were on the Rez. Ever since the girl arrived there had been rumor after rumor about her, and she took each in stride, with a smirk and a coy refusal to confirm or deny anything for sure. It was the way she basked in stirring trouble and causing tension that set Seth on edge around her more than any rumor that was most likely made up anyway. Seeing her at school was weird enough with how she was so beautiful but so off limits in every way, but now? Seeing her party crashing the weekend fireside they were all having to hang out? It was mostly the Pack members, Jake and Sam's packs both showing up to reconnect and check in. This was a place they could hang out as themselves, without having to pretend to be human or speak in code or beat around the bush. Now, in their area of the sanctuary, the human no one wanted around had shown up.

Sam shot Seth a look, warning him to calm down. Seth glared at him until he felt Jake's hand on his shoulders. Ever since Seth had gotten older and had started pushing limits, only Jake could ever really calm him down. He stayed by Seth now as Sam moved to the newcomer. "Hello," he greeted very unwelcomingly.

The girl's smile widened, but it somehow seemed cocky, and that was irritating. "Hi! Saw the bonfire, thought I'd drop by and say hi." Sam's expression darkened, and her smile faded a bit. "Unless I'm not welcomed."

There was something in her eyes. Not offense or anger, but acceptance. It was almost like she had expected to be kicked out, just not this soon. Hurt and disappointment flashed across her face. Sam paused, his face softening. The second she noticed the change in him her walls were back up, and she smiled that cocky grin again. "Well then have fun!" She turned her back, walking back the way she came.

"Wait!" Sam called after her. She paused but didn't turn around for a second. When she did, the way she looked at him was almost flirty. He wondered if her moment of perceived weakness was an act or not. "We have room for one more," he told her.

She laughed, her head tilting back and her eyes sparkling. "No thank you, Mr. Uley. You can't party crash if you're invited. I'll see... most of you guys at school." she giggled and then turned around and strutted off.

As she disappeared, Leah joined Jake and Seth on their way to talk to Sam. The trio reached him just as he turned around. "Thank God," Seth breathed. He didn't want to deal with drama tonight, especially from people he didn't trust.

Leah and Jake saw the look in Sam's eyes though. Maybe there was more to her than what they had reduced her to...

After that night the girl that had shown up at the bonfire showed no further signs of character other than aloof and silly. She was never serious, choosing to lounge in her chair with her feet on the desktop in front of her, cracking jokes that only the people around her could hear. It got harder not to laugh and indulge her as she continued through every day and every week, never faltering or losing her forever good mood and a bright smile. She didn't pause when she made jokes, and she never failed to have a comeback. She was actually quite likable, even when she bit her tongue in a situation and you could read it all over her face that she had a witty remark or an insult that would be hard for everyone not to laugh at- except the victim of the comment, who would be mortified. Even in those situations, when you knew she was secretly insulting you or someone you cared about, she still had a vibe about her that drew you in.

She was private though. Rarely talked to anybody - other than her comments. Rarely even made eye contact or had an actual conversation with anyone past what other people initiated and carried. No one could get any real information about her or even any of her preferences- even her favorite color. The interest in her never faded because of that element of mystery and curiosity.

Except for Seth, who found her cocky and annoying. He didn't know what about her put him so off, but every time she got anywhere near him he felt really weird, so he just avoided her. When a distraction presented itself, he was relieved. A new wolf had shown up in town out of nowhere only three days ago, and with all of his friends talking about that instead of the New Girl was an appreciated change in conversation.

They had only seen him once so far. They had been out, mostly on a joy run when they'd come across an unfamiliar wolf. That same unnatural size and the same too-human eyes, but he refused to turn human so they could talk, and they couldn't speak through thoughts because they weren't part of the same pack. They tried to scare him off, but he was smaller than them and agile, just enough to get between and away from even Sam. It was moments like this that they really missed Leah and Seth. Embry had been the one to take it to Jake who had then told Seth and Leah, and now both packs were trying to figure out who this new wolf was and why he was there.

Just in time, the Cullens paid a visit. Bella liked to occasionally visit those she could so they would stay one or two days and see only those they could, like the pack or her dad. Charlie had stopped asking questions despite his curiosity, happy to simply be able to see his daughter. When they arrived, Jake and Sam warned them about the unknown wolf that was hanging around, and they all agreed to keep an eye out. They were staying for a week this time, which the pack appreciated. After all, the more hands, the better.

Or so they thought.

It was obvious she thought the house would be empty. Most of the Cullens were out hunting, so it was a fair assumption. What she didn't know was that Edward had stayed behind, having fed the previous night so that everyone could go tonight. They didn't want to leave Renesme alone with some rogue wolf on the loose who didn't know or understand the Cullens and would most likely come after them.

The second she stepped onto the lawn Edward appeared. "Why are you here?" he growled.

She was surprised and tried to use that to make herself look innocent. "Whoa, sir, I'm just lost. Can you please direct me to-?"

Edward's face twisted more menacingly. "I know what you are!" he snarled.

Just as the girl was about to get aggressive, Embry came stumbling out of the woods, looking as if he had just scrambled to get dressed and in the clearing before something happened. "She's harmless!" he assured, holding his hands out. "Human. She's the new girl on the Rez. Y/n, right?"

She nodded, smiling brightly. Edward's posture did not change. "She is not human," he growled.

Embry looked between Edward and Y/n before sliding between them, his chest to Edward- blocking the girl from the vamp. "What happened to innocent until proven guilty?"

"What happened to trust?" Edward shot back. "Did you forget I can read minds? She's not human! She's-" Having senses Edward's emotions, Jasper had warned the others just in time to bring all of the Cullens zooming into the scene, just as wound up and ready to attack. Sam was moving to him as well, not sure why the girl was a threat but knowing that she was one. The wolves had come here to back up the Cullens and if a mind reader who hated to hurt people unless absolutely necessary said there was a danger, a danger there was.

Jacob was last out of hiding from where the wolves had surrounded the house, ready to pounce at any needed moment. He looked at the girl in his wolf form, Seth and Leah right behind him. While Seth mentally grumbled on about how he just KNEW there was something off about her, his and the non-human girl's eyes met, and the entire world stopped.

Her eyes widened, and she stumbled just as Leah stepped over to keep Seth on his feet. Faced with suddenly a lot more threats she could handle it too short a time to make a plan and Seth on top of that, she turned. Right then and there she turned into the rogue wolf everyone had been searching for. One of the younger wolves growled, but Sam hushed him. There was more going on then they were seeing.

Leah, Seth, Jake - who were mentally linked - and Edward were the only ones who really knew what was going on. Seth had just imprinted on Y/n. Though, of that group, Edward was the only one that knew she had imprinted in return. The girl found her footing and panicked, forgetting her reason for coming and turning, taking off. Everyone was either too shocked or too unsure to go after her.

After she was gone, Sam looked at Edward. Answering his mental question, Edward responded aloud, "She was here because vampires were too close for comfort and she wanted to spy and see what we were up to. She wasn't here to attack." He seemed taken aback, having never experienced an imprint in time like that before. Even if it was second hand, having it from two people was enough to make him understand what it was like and he wondered how they kept standing after such emotions hit them. "I only realized after she-" Should he say? "She turned. She was surprised, and her guard went down, and I realized what her plan at been. A recon mission."

Sam looked at Jake.

He imprinted?

Jake nodded. Sam closed his eyes. Great.

The next day after school, Edward had Bella pull Seth aside and tell him that Y/n had imprinted back. "He didn't want to say in front of everyone. Figured that was kind of a private thing bet. It felt wrong not telling you either, though, so now I'm here..."

Seth nodded, a sort of bounce in his step. "Thanks, Bella."

It had been a week since then though, and it was quickly becoming apparent that Y/n wanted NOTHING to do with Seth or anyone associated. She had tried to make friends with them before, but there was a noticeable shift in her character now. She practically disappeared, and they realized why after Leah saw her notice Seth and then immediately turn the other way and full out run in the opposite direction. Seth was suffering, his need to be closer to her - at least SEE her - and the call to help her and be part of her life eating away at him as she avoided him. He didn't know how she could handle it, denying and ignoring the wants and needs she would be feeling just as strongly for him.

Finally, he snapped.

He showed up at her house half an hour before sunset, flowers in his hands as he knocked. It had taken some spy work to figure out where she was, recognizing and then following her scent until it brought him here. It felt creepy, but he didn't know what else to do. Now he had a little date planned out. Something simple. Flowers, sunset, talking. No expectations, just a little sit down to understand her and make a relationship with her so it would stop hurting him. When the door opened, he grinned upon seeing her. "Y/n-" The door closed and he took a step back in surprise. What was going on with her? "Y/n, please!" Then something occurred to him. Maybe she thought he still hated her! "I- I imprinted too!"

The door flew open, and she took his hand, suddenly running as if her life depended on it. He dropped the flowers along the way, so shocked by her attack. They were running, tearing out of there so fast she didn't even close her front door before they were gone entirely, in the woods with the house quickly getting more and more out of sight.

Just as suddenly as she'd started, she stopped, tugging him to a halt and spinning him to face her. He was mostly expecting her face to be ecstatic, but she looked anything but. Scared, angry, maybe. No sign of any kind of happiness. "What the HELL were you thinking?" He stepped back, shocked by her reactions and forever unsure how her brained worked.

"I- just thought you were avoiding me because you didn't know I imprinted too? Edward saw it when you- when we- he's a mind reader."

She glared. "Of course you guys have a mind reader." She scoffed, rolling her eyes and placing a hand on her hip. "Let me make something very clear Seth, I know you imprinted on me too and I figured you would think I also imprinted on you. Our reactions were the same."

Seth's face scrunched in irritation. "Then why avoid me? I know it's killing you as much as it's killing me. Why put us through that?"

Y/n looked at him like he was the single most stupid thing on the face of any planet, anywhere. He widened his eyes as if to say 'what?!' Her expression softened. "Seth, why are you here?"

He ran a hand through his hair. "I was going to ask you to watch the sunset with me? Talk? Something other than watching you avoid me like I have some disease you'll die a painful death of if you catch?" He threw his arms up briefly, his hands coming back down to slap against his legs.

She sighed. "Why were you going to ask me on a date?" He went to answer, but the look in her eyes made him pause. "Because I'm your imprint?" He shrugged. "You couldn't stand me before. Do you think I missed the glares you shot my way, and the comments mumbled under your breath? God Seth, you're not subtle!"

Seth looked away, feeling suddenly... off. Like the whole world had changed. Imprinting was good. Exciting and happy. This wasn't what he thought it'd be. "So... what? You're going to avoid me and blow me off?"

"The only reason you're mad about it is because you feel like you have to be with me! You have to be my boyfriend and by my side and-"

Seth blanched. "We could be friends!"

Y/n scoffed. "When have imprints ever been just friends?"

"Oh, I don't know, Quil and his imprint? Claire? Little girl? I'm sure you've seen them together?" He was full sass now, his hand on his hip and his shoulders dipping so he could be closer to her height.

That made Y/n smirk. "And what happens when she grows up? They'll be so close, and their bond will be so strong that I'm sure she'll be crushing on him from the time she's 11. And then she'll reach 13, 14, and things will take a real shift. 15 and he'll ask her on a date. They'll be dating before she's 16- I PROMISE you!"

Seth folded his arms over his chest. "And what's so wrong about that?"

"It's like an arranged marriage!" Y/n groaned. "No choice, not really. There's always someone who loves someone before they were forced to love someone else." Seth thought of Sam and Leah and looked away. "There's always someone who never wanted an imprint, who was vehemently against it until they imprinted and it suddenly changed EVERYTHING for them." That immediately brought thoughts of Jacob, and Seth wondered what it would be like for Jake of all people - who is the most against imprinting - to be thrust into a love he didn't want. "There's always the best friends suddenly turned lovers or strangers that become so close so fast that it gives everyone else whiplash." She paused. "There's always the boy who hates the girl until some magical fate bullshit decides he will no longer be able to." It was quiet for a second. "And what happens if I say no, Seth? We fall apart? We break down and lose our minds? Before I was hoping to just get you to not hate me, but now you're willing to do anything to see me happy. It's sick and twisted and unnatural, and I hate it!" Her eyes watered and Seth's heart began to ache.

He was shocked by how poorly he'd perceived this girl. Why did he even hate her to begin with? Because everyone else was infatuated with her, so he refused to be like everyone else? Because she was pretty? Because she was impossible to not like and he liked to do impossible things? Because he was suddenly in the mood to mess with people and cause little problems here and there that were utterly harmless... until they weren't? Because of hormones? Because she was a new face in a small town and she could light up a room with her smile, bringing a new meaning to the word 'life' with just the way her eyes sparkled? Because she was hard to resist and hard to stay away from and it threw him off in a way he couldn't comprehend or control? Because, maybe, even before she was his imprint she was his crush and he didn't like forced, rushed things either?

The epiphany hit him hard, and he wondered how he could communicate the thought process to her without getting interrupted, misinterpreted, or just sound pushy or annoying. Words never did the job actions could...

Actions took time though.

He met her eyes. "Why don't we just start at friends?"

She rolled her eyes. "Seth, where I come from, imprints are seen as... wrong. They're frowned upon. My parents would move us again, at worst. Put me on internet school at best. It doesn't happen much for my pack but after they were nearly wiped out a wolf whose imprint died... it's been totally off limits. Against the unspoken laws. It's best if we just stayed away from each other."

Seth's eyes widened a bit. "I don't want to stay away from you."

Y/n sighed. "It doesn't go away, the pain. But you learn to bare it, and once it hits a point, it stops getting worse. They say it's just like an emptiness. Like someone took a part of you away forever. It's not even painful after a while." Her eyes watered and Seth realized that she was scared. She had been brought to think of imprinting differently than he did and now she was terrified of the situation dumped in her lap.

Unable to help himself he stepped forward, wrapping his arms around her and hugging her. She gasped, and he expected her to push him away. But she didn't. She clung to him. They were both quiet a second before she finally did move away from him. "You're a nice kid, Seth. I'm sorry it was me."

She turned away and began walking back to her house. "I'm not," he told her. She paused. "And I'm not giving up on you. I was wrong to not like you before. It was dumb and immature, and I'm glad I imprinted on you because it forced me to see my bullshit to the core of this whole thing." He chuckled. "Emotions are hard, and I know you think it's wrong but... I can slow it down. I can make it as real as it should be- as it would have been if I hadn't. If we hadn't. I know I can do it."

"What if I don't want you to?" she asked without turning around.

He paused for a second. "Look me in the face and say you don't want me to. That you don't even want to be friends. Part of our group, like that day you came to the bonfire. Tell me you want me to go away and if you really want me to not be apart of your life, I'll do it. Whatever you need."

Y/n was quiet for a second. Her hands curled into fists and then she kept walking, and Seth smirked, watching her.

Just like I thought, he thought to himself.

He was determined now. He'd be gentle, but he was determined. Determined to prove to her that she was wrong and there was more to this than she had been taught.

Seth kept his promise.

He waited two weeks before he even acknowledged her again. Until his chest hurt and his stomach was in knots, and his heart felt like pure metal, heavy and weighed down in his chest. Only when Seth missed her so much that he couldn't pretend he wasn't feeling it anymore did he finally break, finally stopping himself from going out of his way to avoid her. One day he held a door open for her. It was so casual and lowkey that he didn't even look at her as he held it open. She shot him a look, but he only looked at her after a second, motioning her to keep walking after it seemed she was stuck in place. She thought he would hover around her after she went through, but he only brushed past her and then made his way to his friends.

Another time she dropped a book while she was juggling a bunch of things in her arms, and at once and he appeared seemingly out of nowhere with a polite, friendly smile. He went to hand it back to her before he saw her struggling and paused. She saw him look at her struggling and the moment he decided he was going to help. For a second she was going to snap at him to back off, but then he very concernedly asked, "That looks like you're caring a lot. May I please help?" She had seen Seth hold doors open for other girls and help teachers or neighbors carry things to places if it was too heavy or too much before. What would it be different if he helped her now? So she said yes. He looked so relieved that she chuckled.

After that, he told her her backpack zipper was open. Or that her shoes were untied. Or that her hair looked pretty. He eased himself into her life as naturally as if it hadn't been planned. It was so easy for him to go from noticing her need for help to seeing her regularly from then on. It felt so typical that she was taken aback.

Who'd have thought a seventeen-year-old boy would have so much control? From there he started to bump into her more. He'd acknowledge her as he went inside, calling her name and waving. He greeted her as he held a door open, by name. If they happened to be walking down a hallway together in the same direction, he would move up next to her and start idle chatter about casual, mundane things. Suddenly they were acquaintances, and she realized that he had weaseled his way to that spot so quickly, so smoothly, it was as if it was made for him specifically.

A month had passed from when they'd had their showdown in the woods before he approached her at lunch and sat with her. At first, she was tense, but the reaction was so much less severe than if he had done so at the beginning. They began chatting, catching up, gossiping. He got her to laugh, and she got him to roll his eyes in amusement. Three days later, Seth's friends came to them as well. One by one they came to sit at her table until Jake, Embry, Quil, Seth, Colin, and Y/n were all sitting together at lunch, cracking up hysterically and shoving and teasing and acting as if they had known each other forever. Just like that Y/n was one of Seth's friends.

Everything was going good... until the dance came up. 

Prom, oh, prom. It was their senior year, and Seth was stoked to go to prom as a last hurrah for his senior year, and the final step to his plan. He had looped everyone in on it and as an entire pack (and friends, with even Sam's pack offering to help). Making the poster, planning the perfect place to wait as Y/n made her way from school to her house. The pun and the flowers- they all made sure everything was perfect. The others didn't know why because Seth didn't want to tell them anything Y/n wasn't willing to have them know, but they did know that it was imperative that he was careful and precise and that nothing went wrong. Any little thing could set her off and then she'd be gone, and all his hard work would be for nothing. He had to respect her boundaries too.

He waited by himself a little ways from the school so that when he faced Y/n, it would be just him and her. Private. No pressure, no audience, and no chance it would get back to her parents too soon. She'd have time to think and process and make a decision without feeling like he was rushing or forcing anything. When he saw her face, he perked up, shaking the little poster he'd made. It was small for a sign- more movie poster sized than prom poster. Easy to carry or throw away if this went wrong. "Hey," he greeted. She was about a foot away, and when she saw his stance and what he was holding, she froze. Now he tried to ease into it so she wouldn't freak out. "Y/n, you're a good friend of mine. I think so anyway." He was suddenly nervous, far more than he had been before. What if he hadn't accounted for something? What if no matter what he did or how long he took, he would never win her over? He could be satisfied being her friend if that was what she really needed, but it was HIM that liked her. HE - not the wolf and it's stupid instincts - was asking her to prom. He wanted this, so badly he knew his heart would break if it was as impossible as she had first made it out to be. "Um." He paused, looking up at her. "You don't have to say yes. But I really like you, Y/n. Me."

She looked up at him, her eyes widened as she slowly approached him. He watched her. "Seth..." She panicked, covering her mouth. "I want to say yes." He didn't move a single muscle. She looked at him very carefully. "I mean... ME." Her palm flattened against her chest. Her eyes watered and she almost smiled. "I want to say yes. Past instinct, past need, I just want to..." Seth grinned until her smile fell, horror filling her expression. "Oh my god, I'm in love with you."

She had said it so quietly he'd almost missed it. Almost. He stepped closer. "Y/n-"

But she stepped back, her hands up. He faltered. "No." She shook her head, eyes widening more. "No."

He set the poster on the ground, leaning it against a tree as he slowly approached her. Her hands stretched out, trying to keep him away. He grabbed them with his own, bringing her fingers to his lips. "I love you too," he whispered, close enough to her that she couldn't miss it. "ME. I do, not the imprint stuff. Just like you said. I promise." Her eyes closed. "I know. Without us imprinting, I know we would still be here. Right now. We would still be in this exact position, and you'd still be asking me to prom, and I would be as terrified as I am right now because, even if I hadn't imprinted, I'm still... terrified."

"Of me?" Seth asked gently, almost hurt.

"Of me," she corrected. "Of my heart and my feelings." She looked at him. "I've never fallen in love before."

Seth stepped closer, one of his hands moving to brush against her cheek, her jaw. He calmed her with his touch and the soft smile that adorned his lips. "Neither have I. We'll go on from here just as we did before, yeah? Slow and steady. We're figuring it out together."

Looking up at him, Y/n finally smiled. "Yeah. Okay." She still felt scared, but less so when he was by her side, having her back. If giving into her fear meant losing Seth, what better reason did she have to be brave than to keep him around as long as he'd let her?

What Rhymes With “AIR”?

1.   Are the walls of your room bare or do you have things hanging up there? I have some stuff on my walls.

2.   When’s the last time you went outside to enjoy the fresh air? I briefly went outside at night on the 4th of July to see the fireworks from my driveway with my family. Prior to that I hadn’t been out of the house since May and before that it had been since March. 

3.   Do you watch the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air? Sometimes.

4.   When’s the last time it felt like you were walking on air? I had one bad floating feeling experience from a bad edibles trip. I literally felt like I had to hold onto something to “stay grounded.” I also ended up getting sick. It wasn’t a fun time. I found out the hard way after that time that it didn’t take much of an edible for me to get high lol. It tricks you cause it can take a bit to kick in, so you think you need more, but nope.

5.   Have you ever been on air, on a radio station? Yeah. I used to call to request a song sometimes back in the day and my call  was on air a few times.

6.   Have you ever felt like all of the air was coming out of your lungs? Yes.

7.   Has it seemed as though anything has ever disappeared into thin air? Have you ever pulled an idea out of thin air? Yes! So frustrating. I’ll be using something and then put it down for a sec, only to not be able to find it where I thought I put it. Like for instance, it happens a lot when I’m wrapping presents. The pen or scissors I’m using always seem to “disappear.” RIP to all the pens that seemed to just vanish, too, throughout my school years. And yes, I’ve also pulled ideas “out of thin air.”

8.   Have you ever wanted to be on “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire”? I enjoyed playing along while watching and I even had a computer game version, but nah. I wouldn’t get far at all and it’d be embarrassing. I don’t do well with being put on the spot either.

10.   Would you like to be an heir or heiress to a fortune? I mean, I wouldn’t have been opposed to it if I was haha.

11.   Would you be able to successfully get away if you ever came across a bear? I mean, there’s no way of knowing for sure, but I hope so?? Well, I hope to never be in the situation in the first place, obviously, but you know. There are people who have certainly been quite lucky in that situation and others not so much, so. I know you’re supposed to remain calm and not run, which I could probably do cause I’d likely freeze up in fear. I’ve seen videos of people, some of them have been children, who successfully got away.

12.   Where’s your favorite place to go? How long does it take to get there? The beach. The closest one is like 2 hours away.

13.   How often do you err on the side of caution? I’m a cautious person. And also just a big scardy cat.

14.   How often do people say they’re angry with you? People don’t say that, but I know people have been upset, frustrated, disappointed, and irritated with me.

15.   Do you own any long underwear? Long underwear? No...

16.   How much Tupperware do you own? *shrug* A lot.

General Randomness What's the weather like right now? It’s very bright and sunny out, but January is typically one of the colder days of the year so I’m not feeling uncomfortable right now. It’s the perfectly chilly temperature I would have liked to have all year long. What are you currently sitting on? I am sitting on a chair at our dining table, which is usually where I take surveys. “Whatever. I am so sorry to call so close to the holidays, but I… Well, I kinda need a favor. And you still haven’t made up for the fact that you hid Peter’s Spider-Manning from me for such a long time, so you can’t say no unless you want to be seen as a real douche.”

MIT and May’s apartment in Queens was an exact 3 hours and 17 minute drive.

As Tony pulled up outside the dorm building May informed him that Peter was in, Tony sighed, glancing at the clock and back at the door. Christmas Eve, and traffic was going to be a bitch. Tony was on the road from his own home at almost seven in the morning, and just arrived then, at almost noon. Which meant a stop for lunch before they even started going, and by one PM, the road was going to be awful.

But Tony couldn’t complain when he saw Peter Parker himself emerge from the dorm, inter coat wrapped tightly around him, timbs crunching snow beneath them, waving goodbye to someone else who had left the dorm. Tony was surprised to find people still at the dorms on Christmas Eve despite Peter.

Peter was supposed to get a flight out from Massachusetts the day before, but since the bad snow storm caused planes to be cancelled, couldn’t get onto another flight. And, May had to work until six that night, thus Tony Stark was picking Peter up for a mini road trip back to Queens, and back to Christmas.

“Hi!” Peter said as he opened the backseat and threw his duffel bag and backpack back there, before scurrying to get into the front seat. It had been a long time since the awkward teenager Peter Parker sat in the backseat while Happy or Tony was driving him. Now he shimmied down into the heated seat and smiled widely at Tony. “Thanks so much for driving all the way out here. I know it was probably really annoying and—”

“And completely worth it since I haven’t seen your chubby little college face since, what, October?”

“You literally saw me, like, two weeks ago, Mr. Stark.”

“But I didn’t see you, see you. Saying hi backstage for five minutes after a lecture? Not seeing you, kid.”

The kid smiled smally, buckling his seatbelt as they started driving, and instantly Tony broke the silence by saying, “I used to live there, in Next House when I was a kid here.”

They chatted aimlessly (Tony’s projects, Peter’s schoolwork, how much he misses Spider-Man patrol every night, etc.) until it was fifteen minutes later and Tony makes a sharp turn into McDonalds, which he would only allow on roadtrips.

Tony got a burger, fries, and a diet coke. Peter got an eight piece chicken nugget with a large fry and a kiddie meal cheeseburger and fries. And a vanilla milkshake.

“Look!” Peter held up the little toy that had come with it. Tony laughed openly, and Peter looked pleased with himself.

“So, besides schoolwork being a pain and missing Spider-Man, how are you adjusting to college?”

“Good. Boston is a lot slower than New York, but it’s still fun. My roommates are nice and all, but I still mostly hang out with Ned.”

“How’s Fred doing?” Tony asked, merging onto the highway.

“Ned is doing great, thanks.” Peter turned, looking out the window. From the major storm almost two days ago now, there were still piles of dirty snow piled on the side of the road. Some small snowflakes still fell softly around them, causing a gloomy grey atmosphere to surround them. Peter smiled to himself, breathing in deeply. The car smelled like Tony. He wasn’t sure what that exactly meant, it just did. It reminded him of his high school days, where he would spend days at a time with Tony, tagging along to science conferences, working in the lab, those few times he even stayed with Pepper and Tony. “How’s Morgan been?”

The three year old had a liking to Peter. Peter always babysat her when she was younger and he still lived near. She asked Tony on too many occasions if Peter was her brother.

“She’s good. Missing you a lot. Especially when you used to play with her upside down.”

Peter laughed, and nodded. “I miss her, too. Can I visit while I’m in New York?”

“I think Mor would be honestly offended if you didn’t, kid.”

Peter sipped his milkshake, still fiddling with the toy in his hand. Tony noticed his fingers had red nail polish chipping off them.

“When did you do that?” Tony reached over and grabbed his hand, examining the maroon. Peter pulled his hand back, self conscience.

“My roommates girlfriend did it one day while she waited for him to get back to the dorm. I didn’t really have a choice in the matter. Also nail polish remover smells super bad, especially someone who has intense smell.”

“It looks good.” Tony nodded.

“Thanks.”

The first hour was fine. A bit of traffic as they left the city, which was reasonable, but nevertheless okay.

Peter had, at some point in that first hour, plugged in his phone to charge and in doing so realized he could play music. So they were contentedly listening to Hamilton.

“How do you know all the words?” Tony asked, laughing as he watched Peter try to dance along (key word try) to the upbeat parts (it was him moving his head around and bouncing a little in his seat).

“Jus’ do. Listen to it too much, I guess.”

Two songs later, they were in a brief bumper to bumper traffic stop due to a crash, and Peter was furiously texting someone.

Tony suddenly felt like he couldn’t talk to the kid. It had been so long, and the kid had a new life in Massachusetts. The kid doesn’t need Tony anymore. Well, he never needed Tony in the first place, but it was nice for Tony to spoil him when he was in high school.

One hour, then two, and even after driving for almost three hours, they hadn’t even gotten halfway home. The snow was getting heavier, though not intense, and though there weren’t that many cars on the road, everyone was driving slowly, scared to spin off the road on ice or a frozen engine or brake.

“...Then, Ned completely downed the water, and made the face pretending it was really awful. It was so funny.”

“Sounds hilarious,” Tony smiled contently at the road, then glanced over at the boy, unsure. “Have you… Have you been drinking? Not water shots, but real shots?”

Peter looked to his lap, and before he responded, Tony quickly added, “It’s not a big deal if you are. I just… I want to make sure you are doing it responsibly. When I went to college, not that our experiences are in anyway the same, of course, I drank a lot. Too much. It was… I wish I had someone, an adult I mean, not just Rhodey, to tell me to hold it a little bit, and that the soft buzz from one was enough and the lifelong regret wasn’t worth the blackout.”

“I’m not drinking, Mr. Stark. I mean, at the start of the year I went to this party and decided to have one, but… it was disgusting,” Peter said, looking at Tony earnestly, then cracking a smile. “Alcohol isn’t for me.”

“Okay. That’s… alright. That’s good,” Tony smiled, glad his Peter wasn’t continuing down the same destructive blackout alcoholic path he had been on for so long. “That’s really okay. A lotta people don’t drink. I barely do anymore.”

“Do you think Morgan is going to like alcohol?”

“That girl is hyperactive enough, kid. And… Pep is most likely already preaching the badness of alcohol to her. I doubt she will, what with having to grow up with my past haunting her.”

It was a deep seeded fear of Tony’s, one that he rarely expressed to anyone other than Pepper, but also one that was no doubt going to come true at least a bit. Hell, it already had begun. When Morgan was born, it was almost instantaneously that Morgan was thrown into the spotlight, with articles and online news sites writing about the newest Stark, and how she will have to inherit the company, etcetera. Which wasn’t true in the slightest. If she went down the same path as Tony with mechanical engineering and showed an interest in wanting to run the company, then she would inherit it. If not, Tony would find someone else. He would never force her to inherit if she didn’t want to. Maybe Peter would be able to take it over. Or he could leave it to Harley. Who knows yet.

“That’s also kinda why I’m not gonna drink,” Peter said softly, suddenly looking sheepish and a bit nervous. “I mean, I get that it’s my choice and beer is honestly disgusting. But even if it wasn’t… I don’t want to let you down.”

“Peter…” Tony clapped his shoulder in a fatherly manor, then ruffled the boy’s curly hair. “You could never let me down.”

They finally arrived at the apartment at half past six.

“Thank you so much, Mr. Stark.” Peter had said this about four times on the road, but apparently felt the need to say it once more as they pulled up. Tony put the car in park, and smirked.

“Like I said, no issue. Lemme come up and say hi to May.”

Tony carried Peter’s backpack for him (“God, kid. How much does this weigh?”), and followed him to the stairs then to the apartment. He waved at someone outside a different apartment, who smiled back.

“Merry Christmas, Parker! Dile tu tia feliz navidad, yeah?”

“I will! Tell Alberto for me!” Peter held up a hand in respect, then knocked on his own apartment. He turned to Tony and sighed, “I think my key is buried in my bag.”

Tony just chuckled.

The door swung open, and May smiled widely, opening her arms widely. “Hello!”

Peter hugged her tightly, dropping his duffel ont he ground. Tony picked it up, and stepped inside past them.

“Hey, good you came up!”

Tony raised an eyebrow and turned to find Pepper sitting on the couch in the Parker’s living room, Morgan sitting on her lap chewing on something.

“Why are you here?”

“May’s car broke down at work. Wouldn’t start when she went on her lunch break. She called to ask if I could call a tow truck for her, and then I, sorry we…” She gestured to Morgan, who had perked up at Tony’s voice and was trying to climb off the sofa to get to him. “Picked her up. Just got here like, ten minutes ago. I decided to stay to see Peter!”

Peter had looked over at this point, and beamed.

“Hi, Pepper!” He said, jogging over quickly to give a tight hug. “And hi Morgan!”

“Petey!” Morgan screeched, now sidetracked from her quest to get to Tony and instead waddling her way over to Peter, grabby hands in his direction. “Up, up!”

Peter scooped her up, and planted a kiss on her cheek, which she giggled to. “Hi, Mor. Merry Christmas!”

“Merry Christmas!” She yelled, but it sounded roughly like, “mewwy chrimmas”. Still adorable.

“Good to see you, Tony,” May said, also giving Tony a quick and light hug.

Pepper, Morgan, and Tony left two hours later, after eating dinner in the apartment and Pepper and Tony getting to watch Peter and May open the presents they had gotten them (an Apple watch for each of them, because that is a good gift even if not StarkTech goddammit).

Before they left, however, Tony made Peter come all the way downstairs to the car to get one other present he had for Peter.

Tony retrieved it from the trunk, and held it out to the boy. It was a faded red sweatshirt, with grey block letters of MIT on the front, outlined in black.

“This was a sweatshirt that Rhodey actually got for me the first Christmas I knew him. It doesn’t really fit me anymore, but… I thought you might want to have it. You know, since you go to the school and all. Plus, it could be like a sorta tradition. I got it my first Christmas at MIT, now you got it your first—”

Peter almost tackled Tony to the snow covered ground in a bone crushing hug.

“Thank you, Tony. I love it,” He said, holding it to his chest when they broke apart.

“Yeah, yeah,” Tony waved off the kid with a smile. He saw Pepper emerging from the apartment building with Morgan behind Peter. “You can wear it over your Spider-Man suit when you go patrolling in a few days. In case you get cold.”

Peter gave one last hug to Tony, then another one to Pepper and Morgan, and with one last wave darted inside.

Tony smiled softly, picking up Morgan, who was staring at the door Peter just went in.

“Where’s brother going?” She asked sadly.

“Don’t worry, Mor,” Tony said quietly, grabbing Pepper’s hand with his free one. “You will see him soon.”
