emotions (how does she express her emotions around you)- remember when i said ice queen… yeah. but only at first! its like, you asked her out and she agreed but she was so excited for the date and tried to hard to be composed she actually freaked you out 💀

family (does she want one)- i’m gonna say yes. mina feels like the type of person who would want to settle down eventually and have a mini-me running around

gifts (what about gift giving)- mina is rich ok. rich parents, one of the most successful groups in korea… she gives you gifts casually, thinking they’re just a small thing that reminded her of you while it’s an sickeningly important watch or something lol

holding hands (does she like to hold hands)- as i said before, yes. i think she also likes to drag you around in certain situations. if you’re taking too much with one of her members for example, and not giving her enough attention, she’ll subtly grab your hand and drag you away

injuries (what would she do if you got hurt)- burn down whatever hurt you. and i lean BURN. she’s serious about her baby getting hurt

jokes (does she like to joke around)- yes BUT, you almost never expect it. mina doesn’t feel like the type to pull pranks so when she makes a harmless joke or says something ironically you usually think she’s being serious 😭

kisses (how does she like to kiss you)- gentle and calm. mindful and demure. my girl has all of the time in the world ok

love (what’s her love language)- gift giving! pushing the ice queen trope, i think mina is aware people see her as colder or more closed off so she’s actually scared you’ll think she doesn’t like you because she isn’t being as affectionate. in return, she’ll spoil you rotten. every thing that reminds her of you, even the tiniest bit, she gets it.

memory (what’s her favourite memory together)- i’ll say introducing you to her members. because they’re such a big part of her life, she waits with it until she thinks you’re really the one. her parents have met you before twice lol. anyways, the small twinkle in your eyes as you chatted shyly with her members, holding her pinky with your for mental support—that’s her core memory

nighttime (how does sleeping with her look like)- you two just sleep on your assigned sides of the bed. one way or another you’ll get entangled during the night, but neither you nor mina mind falling asleep while laying side by side.

oddity (what’s one quirky thing about her)- i think ballet is very quirky. years of practice, she subtly pokes your side every time you’re not standing straight. she just doesn’t want you to get back aches tho :((

pet names (what does she like to call you)- the most cute, tooth rotting names and i’m not even joking.

quality time (how does she like to spend time with you)- you’re playing minecraft and/or animal crossing with her, end of discussion

rush (does she rush into things)- nope. as i said before, she has to get used to you. you were the one to ask her out so she has to get to know you on that level now, then get to know the other you while you slowly warm up to her too

secrets (how open is she with you)- not very open. through your relationship, she slowly unravels her secrets to you, but it takes time and you have to be patient with her.

time (how long did it take her to confess)- you asked her out, so there’s that. but confess her love? man i’m gonna say a couple years lol

upset (what’s her reaction when you’re upset)- if you’re upset after a fight, she’s upset too and then she just apologises the next day, tired of sleeping in bed without you. other than that, she’ll be surprised and try to immediately console you

visibility (is she afraid of the public opinion)- not really. if you’re in love, she doesn’t see your relationship as something the public has a say in

warrior (how often do you fight)- only when you’re tired after work. and it’s stupid stuff too. you placed your shoes on the spot she usually uses so you two banter about it for two minutes until you’re both in bed, laughing about how stupid that was

x-ray (is she able to read you)- yes! someone has to bffr. mina knows you like the back of her hand lol

yes (how would she propose to you)- remember the dates when you come home early and cook dinner? she takes a day free and when you get home early for your date, she surprises you by taking you out to a fancy restaurant instead. she’s so nervous too 😭 but you’ll say yes, right?

what's your experience re: the difference between writing prose and scripts 😭 i have to write plays for the first time for school and i miss my wife Purple Prose

Congrats on writing your first play! And I definitely empathize -- switching from one form to the other was hard for me, and something I still struggle with. Musical theater is arguably the novelist's crutch into scriptwriting because we have access to songs -- the kind of access to the characters' thoughts and intentions you get throughout a novel, you can inject into a song, whereas straight playwrights (especially realist playwrights) don't always have that built-in genre convention for theatricalizing their character's minds.

Unless you're working at a level of heightened text in your play that allows interior monologues to be spoken aloud or narrators to describe things (which, hey, you might want to consider!) then you'll have to really work on externalizing both beauty (your beautiful descriptions of things in your short stories? now someone has to say them out loud. Who would? What sort of person would speak this way? Would anyone?) and character development (often my playwriting teacher says that every shift in a piece has to be signaled through an action. A character can't just change their mind. That change doesn't exist to the audience until they do something with that new perspective -- hurt another character, avoid a situation, indulge in something they've opposed before, etc.) Writing for theater really forces you to make your character arcs visible in a way that prose doesn't.

On the other hand, you now have access to a ton of other tools that you didn't have as a prose writer! These usually fall under the broad umbrella of "theatricalization," but really just mean everything you can do in the theater that you can't do in any other medium. The intercut scene before Me, Myself, and I in Adamandi -- the casual, silent cohabitation of the past couple and the present couple at the start of Ghost Story -- the use of the edge of the stage to represent suicide in Adamandi -- all only work because the theatrical audience is willing to accept thematic intersections of space, time, and character because of the boundaries of the stage. When can two things happen simultaneously? When can your character make eye contact with an audience member? When can they leave the stage? What does having collective physical bodies perceiving your art allow you to do - when are they crying together, laughing together, when does their pulse race? Can you make them feel scared? Try out writing scenes that take place in the dark, in a spotlight, with a silent actor onstage, or with significant costume changes that can carry an equal amount of the story to your stage directions and spoken text.

Finally, I guess my overall advice would be to study plays you admire (my benchmarks are currently Is God Is, Escaped Alone, Streetcar Named Desire, M. Butterfly, and various Paula Vogel plays -- And Baby Makes Seven is my fave but The Baltimore Waltz is probably a gentler introduction to her) for their conventions and copy the shit out of them. Imitate their formatting, for a bit. Steal a staging that works in your context. Cut your dialogue down viciously -- words and exchanges that take a few seconds to read on the page take precious minutes to say out loud. Watch out for conversational cul-de-sacs -- ideally each line should advance the scene, advance the characters, and advance the plot. If your character is saying stuff like "What's your name?" then maybe the scene needs to start later -- you want every line to be one that only that character would be able to say.

Relatedly, and I think a failing of mine when I made the switch that is now getting better: don't rely on tone indicators to do the work of adaptation. Your actors and directors will ignore them, first of all, but also each line should contain its proper reading -- it should be clear from the context of the scene whether your character is saying "Hello." (angrily) or "Hello." (haughtily). I try to limit myself to 10-20 tone lines per 90-page musical script, if that's a helpful benchmark for you (this is different from stage directions, but you should also not be using stage directions to take the place of good dialogue. Anything inconsequential -- he paces or chewing his lip or with a sly grin -- ought to be cut.)

Anyway, overall, have fun and do whatever it takes (including disobeying all the advice above) to FINISH IT! You'll only know once you have a full draft A. whether you want to keep going with this medium and B. what your storytelling is Like; how you can improve it. Good luck!

This is in regards to something you mentioned about the OST of Last Unicorn.

I love that film and have watched it many, *many* times! And - like you - I always found the duet distinctly... off. I never could pin down why, I just knew it made me uncomfortable and didn't seem to fit. With the movie or even just the rest of the soundtrack. But when you discribed it as 'out of the singers' range' I had something of an epiphany and I couldn't help but wonder what you'd think of it, so here I am. 😆

What *if* that is actually sneaky characterisation/commentary on the romantic subplot? I mean, this whole soundtrack is so well put together I feel like it has to be intentional, right?

The way I see it both singers are straining just like the characters are, for something that is just out of their reach. And also isn't really right for them. And I feel like on some level they know it. That, I think, is why the climax of the song is particularly discordant. It's to signify that them coming together, as they are doing in the scene, is wrong. For them as people and for the story at large.

Dunno. Just my two cents.

I would love to hear your thoughts on it. IF you have the time and energy to spare! No stress! Most of all I just wanted to let you know about a possible (maybe?) reason for this weird thing, just in case it kept bothering you. (As a fellow ADHD brain I know it be like that sometimes. 😄)

Tbh I kinda doubt they'd intentionally make music that sounds bad to do that, when there are many musically pleasing ways to signal that a romantic duet is between characters that are actually incompatible - even things like Love is an Open Door, where "we finish each other's-" "sandwiches!" "That's what I was gonna say!" helpfully hints that Hans is fluidly saying whatever he needs to in order to appeal to Anna without making the audience's ears hurt. One of the more impactful bits of the Death Note musical is that Misa keeps trying to have a romantic duet with Light and Light is much too busy having homoerotic duets with L instead, so Misa ends up basically belting a solo over the much more synced-up music of the dynamic duo. It's a musically pleasing way to signal which characters are in sync and which ones aren't. Several songs in Wicked do this too, like in Dancing Through Life where the romantic duo declare that since they're both perfect they must be perfect together, or the song that basically says "I must be happy, because happy is what happens when all your dreams come true."

I think the main thing that makes that duet not work is that it's one of the only parts of the OST that's sung by the main voice cast rather than a professional singer. The composition is solid, but it kinda sounded like it wasn't composed with their personal ranges in mind - possibly composed before they were cast. They could've done what disney was doing - cast a singer for the character songs and a separate voice actor for the dialogue - which they apparently did in the theatrical release, having Kate Irving sing instead of Mia Farrow, but they didn't for the video release, so the voice actors have to just try their best, possibly with only one or two takes to do it in, and the end result is a bit of a mess.

okay I have to come clean: I cheated and put this one on the list even though I don't have a file for it, physically. or rather, digitally, I guess. but I needed an excuse to talk about it, because my mental file is sprawling, and, well. above all else I am a Suffering Game bitch, and this is an AU that diverges from canon in the aftermath of Lucretia in Wonderland.

she still escapes Wonderland — only to find herself alone in the Felicity Wilds, remaining grievously injured from the games. twenty years older, still losing blood — and the monsters in the wilds can smell blood, immediately encircling her. but before she can make her final stand... bolts of red, necrotic magic rain down on her foes, and Barry appears, reducing them all to dust.

he's both the person Lucretia most wanted to see, and the person she was most terrified of seeing, with the guilt of betraying Cam still fresh in her mind. he sounds just as terrified, as he asks what the hell happened to her. Lucretia doesn't answer, because her legs give out, and she passes out.

the rest of the fic is Lucretia recovering in Barry's evil cave lair, in the way that would be the classic whumpy injury hurt/comfort if it wasn't for the fact that. well. they're still Lucretia and Barry post-betrayal. they can barely face each other. Barry sees Lucretia twenty years older with a half dozen new scars, and can only think about how his Animus Bell did that, even if indirectly. Lucretia sees Barry's lich form, tattered and gaunt, aching from the separation from his lifelines — and wonders why he saved her life.

hell, she wonders why doesn't he kill her now? with her gone, it would only be a matter of time until he found Fisher — and the Starblaster, for that matter, whether he chose to use it or not. in her mind, if he were to use it, it would surely just be to bring back Lup — not bring back her, not knowing she could betray him again, uncompromising on her plan as she is...

and Barry is just as deeply, upsettingly aware as she is of what he has to gain by killing her. what he had to gain by letting her die. but on a level that doesn't surprise him, not compared to how it surprises Lucretia — he obviously can't bring himself to do it. to hold his lich form together, after doing that? after losing his sister, too? the only person to even remember him, no matter the reason? it would be impossible. his soul would be gone before he even finished the job.

...and then there's character development — and eventually, dare I say, even communication — that happens, that I don't want to spoil for when I do write the thing, but. I think you get the vibe. (also: lots of black smoke imagery persists even after Lucretia's out of Wonderland. that's the second most important part of the vibe.) the premise is a heavy one, and not my only Suffering Game WIP either (the other is canon compliant, but I kind of think this one could build off it), so it's gonna be a long time before I'll be able to write it, but I think about it all the time 😭

this post. I often think of A Million Dreams song from the Greatest Showman because it's kinda portrayal of Dick's mindset as Robin and Nightwing. But there's one stanza that sticks out in particular in connection with this: There's a house we can build Every room inside is filled With things from far away The special things I compile Each one there to make you smile On a rainy day

And each time it just reminds me of how in the Golden Ages Dick and Bruce used to collect memorandum of their adventures together. And both of them look over it all and reminisce canonically. But Dick was the one who moved out, and I mentioned in my B&D relationship post long ago but Bruce literally sulks in a cave filled with adventures of their time together. When Dick leaves for college, Bruce actually shuts down the batcave and leaves the manor to settle in a new place to go on a journey of self-discovery to find himself anew/become more modern.

I think not enough people talk about Cedric's heartbreak during the "Enchanted Feast" episode (Sofia The First E2 S2)

That's a small character analysis btw, only in this episode

He was so in love by Sasha (yeah, I mean, it wasn't really love since he just saw her once, but he had a big crush and it's the first time we ever see him canonically having one), he thought that everything she did was amazing and her spells worked so well, I mean, he could only fall in love for a sorceress as powerful as he is, probably he was impressed because she could do her spells in front of the royal family without making any mistakes (something that he couldn't do)

And I think mentally he must have saw her as beautiful, polite, talented and had the same interests and magic knowledge as him, so he was really impressed and was even obviously giving her a first chance when he introduced himself, he was obviously flirting with her 😭

When Sofia comes to him and tries to warn him about having a weird feeling about Sasha, it didn't even cross Cedric's mind that she could be a cruel person, because I mean, she was perfect in every way

And everything gets worse when you realize that while he was saying this, she was throwing magic powder on his wand to ruin the show he would put on during the feast. I mean, he was even praising her the moment she arrived, it was impossible that she hadn't heard, but she didn't feel any remorse when she ignored him and did him harm anyway.

If Sasha's plan was to trap everyone inside the dining room, she could have easily just ruined Cedric's wand and then he couldn't do magic against her anymore. But no, after his show was ruined she still cleaned up the mess right away while Cedric was all embarrassed, showing him and everyone else that she knew how to fix the mess he made, and even offered to do the show, knowing that he was doing it first, on purpose. AND THAT WAS FOR ABSOLUTELY NO REASON, that didn't change a thing in her plan, because the plan was to leave Cedric without magic, not to humiliate him. She didn't need to humiliate him to achieve this, so like????

She knew that he was liking her, because his flirts were obvious, "I'm Cedric the sorcerer, at your service" and bowing himself in front of her, OF COURSE SHE KNEW he was all giggly she's not dumb

SHE HUMILIATED HIM BECAUSE SHE WANTED TO AND SHE KNEW THAT HE LIKED HER 💥💥🔊‼️🔊💥🔊💥💥🔊🔊🔊🔊💥💥💥‼️🔊‼️🔊‼️‼️

In the scene where Sasha offers to do the show, look at Cedric's expression of someone who felt completely betrayed, "how could you do something like that to me"

I don't know if that's just me but I think that she was trying to show the king that she was better than Cedric and that it was worth replacing him with her, because then it would be easier for her to constantly stay close to the amulet.

And so the expression of Cedric's feelings of betrayal was to be angry and treat her as a possible enemy/threat like "if you want it that way, so be it", but of course very hurt that the royal family replaced him so easily, and that the girl he thought was perfect actually did this to him, even though he didn't do anything to her to deserve that treatment

(I can't help but sing Olivia Rodrigo's song "you betraaaaayed me and I know that you'll never feel soooorry for the way I hurt" 😭😭😭)

When Sofia goes to his workshop to tell him the truth he's just so defeated and so sad, it breaks my heart. That scene just show us that he wasn't just angry like he tried to show everyone, he felt betrayed and humiliated, because of everything that happened and because of his feelings for her too. It's like Sasha was so perfect that she was even better than him for everyone else, including himself. He could never get to her level or even dream about having something with her because she was way out of his league. He was just showing everyone a mask, showing that he didn't like what happened and that he was angry, but the truth is that he wasn't just mad, deep inside he felt really betrayed.

When Sofia tells him who Sasha really was, he becomes a lot angrier because he was having a crush on a lie, and worse, she was a very bad person and was still trying to achieve the goal he had been trying to achieve for decades, which was to get Sofia's amulet. Maybe he even understood that she was trying to take his place as a royal sorcerer too, indirectly.

Notice how he tells Sofia that he "doesn't need any help", because at that point it was already a personal anger he had with Miss Nettle, she deceived him, played with his feelings (don't tell me she didn't, she obviously knew about it) and made him go through all that. He doesn't want Sofia to get involved in this, because it's a problem HE has to resolve with Miss Nettle, and he is very angry.

When he goes to confront Miss Nettle he didn't said "you are trying to take over the kingdom?!", he said "so you aren't a sorcerer after all", like, it was the start of an obvious argument. He was going to confront her for lying about her identity to everyone, not because she was betraying the kingdom. And then she proceeds to be mean again and responds with "I guess that makes two of us" and laughs like GIRL PLEASE CALM DOWN YOU ALREADY DESTROYED THIS MAN'S HEART, THAT'S NOT ENOUGH YOU REALLY WANT HIM MISERABLE

And when she tells him about the cristals she sprinkled on his wand to affect his magic he feels betrayed again, because now he understood that everything that happened was her fault, even his show going wrong. AND THEN SHE OFFERED HERSELF TO BE IN HIS PLACE INSTEAD, THAT WAS SO MEAN, he finally got what really happened

When she leaves him tied up and unable to do anything, he also seems very sad. When Sofia arrives, you can hear the sadness in his tone of voice, even though he appears angry. They look for a way to get to Cecric's tower to get a new wand, but all the passages have been blocked by Miss Nettle, and he doesn't just seem angry, but again, hurt, because now he can't do anything to stop her either (or unmask her, or make her pay for what she did).

and while they are in the hall not knowing what to do to stop her, Cedric is sitting on the stairs with his hands over his face, this for me is the peak of his sadness, because now that Miss Nettle is away and they don't need to react all the time, he can stop and think about his (constant) feelings. He looks absolutely defeated :( he's not even talking to Sofia, he's just very, very sad and hopeless. He can't do anything about what she did or what she's doing, just understand that he was played with and that's all.

When he gets a new wand he gets "happy" again because now he can have his revenge, and make her pay for what she did to him (and everyone, but mostly him). He's so determined that he doesn't think about making a plan, he just wants to get to her alone and resolve everything on his own, because of the torment Miss Nettle put him through.

And yeah in the end everything went well but I just wanted to analyze Cedric's feelings more deeply because in this episode everything is very implicit, and people don't pay much attention to the drama that happened. They talk at most about him being in love at the beginning of the episode, but HELLO HE WAS ALSO DELUDED AND HURT, ABOUT TO CONFRONT HER FOR PLAYING WITH HIM, IT'S THE BEST PART OF THE DRAMA

If you could react to those specific scenes paying attention to what I said, you can see that it makes a lot of sense, but I truly beleieve that was what really happened, I don't see this episode in any other way

He smiles, he missed this old you, you've never changed ever since you were children; that takes him back to his younger days, with you. You continue on: "I found a good job abroad, and it pays well. It's also a job that I've always wanted to have.". "I know, you've always been adventurous, wanting to get away from this small town.". You nod, surprised that he somehow still remembers that about you.

"What about you? What have you been up to? You ask curiosly. Truth be told, he had grown up and looked way different from the young boy you used to know, but his personality didn't seem to change much; his body was just a man now. A handsome man at that. You briefly wondered if he was seeing someone else know, but quickly remind yourself that it's not what you're here for. He's just an old friend you knew.

"I got the military job I wanted." Swiftly, he meets your eyes for a second to see any sign of admiration or fondness for his new job. He thought that maybe joining the army would make him more scary, more manly, less of the young and dumb boy he once was. Yet your expression never wavered, but you seemed proud of him. He was fine with that. "That's really great König! I can't imagine the hard and tough training you went through to join the army, I'm very proud of you." Your answer was so genuine and kind. It made his heart ache a little. Just a little... "Yeah, I'm happy you think that." Wow, what a conversation killer you thought. Seems like you still need to take the lead, even in a conversation.

"So...." You start slowly, pleading him with your eyes, to say something too. "So, why are you back here?" He asked, genuinely, he was curious; he hadn't seen you in such a long time, didn't hear from you either, and now you just suddenly show up? And he happens to see you? Fate must have set you guys up, again. Dumbfounded, you answer: "I'm just back to see my family, I miss them a lot, and this town, even if I acted like I wanted to get out of it. I never thought that I could miss it so much, or maybe I just missed the memories I made here." Wow. What a deep answer. Were you also thinking of him when you said the memories you missed? Does that mean you missed him? Part of the reason why he was in this particular café today was because he missed you.

He missed the memories you both made here, the numerous dates you guys had here. He just didn't expect to see you. Lady luck really smiled on him today, so why does it feel like he's fucking it up? What does he lack? What's wrong with him? Hadn't he grown into a better man now? Older and wiser, kinder and smarter? You break his train of thought when you suddenly tell him that it was time for you to go, you still had family to visit. He silently curses himself for letting you sit in silence with him, when he had this chance to talk to you again. He just mods politely, tells you that it was nice to see you again, and maybe you both should go out to catch up again sometime. You nod and agree: "Here's my number if you want to contact me König." Althought taken aback by your boldness, he eagerly takes your number. "Here's mine. See you here, same time, same place, in two days?" You agree and say your goodbyes to him, little did he know, he should've cherished this time better, as it would be the last time he ever got to see and hear you again.

The two days went by so slow. He was still processing the fact that he actually got to see you again. "Should I wear something nicer today?" He thought. "No, it's just a casual talk over coffee. Nothing special." He opted for a white button-up shirt and rolled up the sleeves, paired with dark jeans and leather shoes. At least he looked presentable enough. At the same time as yesterday, he drove to the café. He sat down in the sane spot as yesterday, patiently waiting for you. After he waited around 20 minutes, he decided to text you."Hey y/n, are you okay? I'm waiting at the café for you. If you are running late, it's okay, just lmk." Simple, yet to the point. He waited about 10 minutes for you to reply or call him, but there was nothing. Anxiously, his thoughts started to waver and think the worst. Maybe it was your plan all along, to get him to trust you, and then to hurt him like this. No, you wouldn't do that; you never were that kind of person. He knew he needed to stop being so insecure and worried, so instead, he decided to drive to your family to check on you instead.

It was a short drive, from the café to your family house, which he remembered was on a small but peaceful street. Driving by, he saw it; it was the same as he remembered in his teenage days; small yet cozy, you had a younger brother that most likely already moved out too. The house had all sorts of flora and greens growing outside of it. Your parents had a passion for gardening and always kept everything presentable. Parking his car on the side of the street, he got out and made his way up the steps of your family house. Nervously, he knocked on the front door a few times, anxiously waiting for someone to answer the door.

After a few minutes of worrying and anxious thinking, your mom opened the door, looking distraught and her eyes a bit red. "Hello Mrs.l/n, how are you? I came to check up on y/n after she didn't show up to our...catch up day today.". He was so nervous about talking to your mom again, fearing she would get mad and shut the door on him since you guys weren't a thing anymore. Instead, she looked a bit relieved, but tears started welling up in her eyes. "K-könig, it's so nice to see you again... It's y-y/n, she...she got into a car crash just half an hour ago. She told me she was on her way to see you." His heart dropped. "W-What, Mrs.l/n, are you sure? Y-y/n can't really be....gone? Right?" He was shaking now, stuttering through his words. "I wish I was lying too König, but we just found out too, after the police called us.". No!no! This can't be! After all those years of missing you, he got his chance to talk to you again, and now you leave again? It can't be true! "Would you like to come in and have a seat König? I'll make a cup of tea for you, " she sniffled. Still shocked, he nodded and went inside your house. The smell and feeling of your presence hit him like a train. He couldn't help but let tears well up in his eyes, nose starting to run. Your mom gently pats his shoulders as she leads him to sit down at the dinner table.

After he was seated, she started to make some tea in a kettle: "she had missed you a lot." She told him suddenly. Shocked, König looked up at her from his hands, "she did?". "Yes, she told me yesterday night about how she ran into you at her favorite café, and how you hadn't changed much. She said you reminded her of home." Fuck. He started crying harder now, after he heard what your mother told him. You really missed him? And all this time he was worried about what he did. You truly were a kind soul. Your mom turned around and gave him a hug. "I know it's hard König, I know you must have missed her too. Otherwise, why could you have come all the way to our house to check up on her?" He shifted, agreeing with what she said. "She would've been very happy to hear that you still care about her this much, after all these years.". He started bawling now. He didn't care if it was embarrassing. He didn't care if he wasn't manly anymore. All he wanted to do was to mourn for you, for the soul mate he lost. For the one who slipped from his fingers all the time.

Your mom continued: "After the police are done investigating who the driver that ran into her was, and after they...they gather her body... we will be having a funeral for her. We would be happy if you'd come." "Yes, yes, I will be attending her funeral, Mrs.l/n." "Good, she would have wanted you to. Would you like to stay here for tonight?" She asked kindly. "Thank you for the offer, Mrs.l/n, but I think I should go and think about everything." "I understand König, but you are welcome back here anytime okay?" He nodded, thanked her for the tea, and went about his way home.

On the drive back to his home, he couldn't stop the waterworks from coming. He was never the type to cry so hard, especially not over someone. But you, you had been different. You bad been someone special, someone he held dear.

Now that you're gone, he doesn't know what to do. He was probably going to drink his night away and reminiscence all the good times you guys had together.

The day of the funeral came back. All your friends and family were gathered together on a gloomy, cloudy day. The sky looked like it dared everyone to go home, for it would start storming anytime soon. Looks like even the heavens were downcast from your death. He stood alongside your mom for the rest of the funeral. He brought your favorite flowers and set them on your gravestone solemnly. Silently, he promised to himself that he would never, ever love anyone unless it's you again.

3. Myself - Overall, what I am, my personality, my choices (wrong and right), my thoughts (wrong and right). A pretty big task, but overall, my plan is to first accept myself for what I am, which is still going on!

I pretty much have a (chaotic) golden retriever energy and am really fond of joking around once I get to know someone. My sense of humour is beyond repair: a mix of dad jokes and bad puns.

The jokes aside, I’m pretty affectionate after getting to know someone and will actively let them rant to me whenever. I also geek about things I’m interested in every now and then.

If someone is able to put up with my weird I’m also really supportive + try my best to help them in any ways I can, since I enjoy helping people.

Sometimes I get closed off after getting to know someone mainly because I have a lot of self-doubt and scared of hurting them and myself in the process? It’s a weird thing. Mostly because I keep moving and have never really settled for a while.

My love language are words of affirmation and physical touch mainly, the lateral only reserved for people whom I’m really close to. It takes a while to get close to me but once I love you I am an absolute mess, completely smitten. I’m a lot more soft and jokes are less chaotic. Cuddles and hugs r a must !!

Glad to see I'm not the only one who doesn't like the production of style (Taylor's Version)... like I'm legit upset because it is my favorite pop song of Taylor and I swear I listen to it at least once a day. Anon, I share the same concerns about overreacting. I want to like it so badly! Can I get there if I view it like a live version, or a sister version?

The opening notes of the original version scratch a very particular itch in my brain; they cause some sort of instant dopamine release that continues through the song. The TV version? Does not do the same thing, which is a MASSIVE loss for me personally (ADHDer, so my dopamine levels are already way lower than baseline for neurotypical individuals). It was one of my go-to songs for the dopamine hit I needed to get motivated for tasks and 😭😭😭. I don’t want to listen to the stolen version on principle, but I feel this loss keenly.

My husband pointed out that I might be able to fiddle with things since it’s a digital release. And maybe the vinyl/CD versions will be better (both are en route to me)?

But yeah. This one hurts right now. First world, privileged white woman problems, I realize. And at the same time - feelings are still valid.

Unpopular opinion

I'm not sure if this is unpopular, but I think the anime drops subtle hints to the point that It's not outwordly to assume that Levi and Hange had some sort of romantic/sexual relationship going on since before the battle of Trost, in 850.

My personal headcanon is that they had a casual thing since that time, but because of their circumstances never got to explore and voice their deep feelings for each other. A lot of things in their relationship are left unsaid, and that's both beautiful and painfull.
