its been 3 days? i think? since qatar and...
a level 100000 landoscar event happened and no one should ever forget about it. i'm serious guys-no other pairing has anything CLOSE to giving up a win not because of team orders or anything but because the team told them NOT TO and they still did it to repay a debt, to show respect, to honor a friendship
ohmygoddoyouunderstandhowinsanethatis-
lewis hamilton is going through stage 5 depression right now and honestly i think it all started from that brocedes montage they made him sit through-
but all jokes aside i started watching this sport because of him and i'm really hoping that next year he can rebuild that spark that roared to life in silverstone, that flickered in vegas. like i dont know what i'm going to do if-
actually not even going to think about it
also if ferrari win the wcc im going to lose my mind. my MIND do you understand me. like what the FUCK was that penalty-but it's not happening so whatever-
oh also the fia continously manages to be one of the worst organizations in sports, and i'm saying this as someone who is an AVID fan of football, basketball, hockey and the NFL, and has gone through FIFA corruption scandals, the NBA and some of the most stupid techs you'll ever seen, the NHL's policies and reffing around hits and injuries? and the current scriptwriters in the NFL for the cheifs. because all of that falls short of letting a literal MIRROR (and debris ig) be out on track for multiple laps.

Back to the dinner that became a spontaneous birth then reprimand from a newborn toddler. Where genres collide. Before the misunderstandings clear, there is pain. : )
While the Bats have been busy being Bats, Alfred has been busy being Alfred. Making all the appropriate preparations for Tim and the innocent baby this deal has produced. (Because Alfred is a sensible gentleman and would never blame or punish a newborn for existing, regardless of the presumed 'sins of the father' or potential world ending future.)
That the baby came out so unexpectedly in the middle of dinner and also already a toddler, though clearly he is cognitively much older, is only a minor set back. Alfred had the foresight to acquire the necessities for what he had assumed would be several months of development. The smaller diapers and clothes will simply have to go into storage should one of the other children someday grace Master Bruce with more grandchildren.
"If I may, Master Tim. Young Master, Danny was it?" Tim mutely nods, brain still whirring away trying to figure out what happened to Danny and also why everyone is looking at him like that. "Young Master Danny seems to be in need of dressing." Danny looks down at himself for the first time, then immediately tries to hide in Tim's shoulder with a squeak.
"Da! Tim! Why my naked?"
"Last I checked, humans are not born with clothes, Danny."
"Oh. Yeah. Uh... can I boh-woe a t-shut?"
"Nonsense, young Master. I have plenty of clothes and diapers for a variety of young ages set aside."
Tim startles at that, clearly not expecting it. "Why?"
Danny squeaks again, clearly embarrassed. "Die-puhs?"
"Surely, Master Tim, you did not think I would allow my great grandson to go unclothed?" Alfred levels Tim with his patented eyebrow. "Now, if you would follow me, there is a nursery prepared in just across the hall from your bedroom. We shall find everything we need right now in there."
Apparently Tim's emotions haven't leveled out yet, not that he expected them too immediately, but it would have been nice; because tears are springing to his eyes at the casually implication that Alfred at least still considers him family. "Right, yes, right. Clothes, diapers, good idea."
Danny squeaks once more. "Do I hab t'wear die-puh?"
"You are physically a toddler. Your body probably doesn't have bladder and bowel control yet. So until we know for certain, yes." Tim stands, turning to leave the room with Alfred.
Bruce finally regains enough wits to speak. Which naturally means he immediately puts his foot all the way in his mouth. "Alfred, wait. The child is- We don't know- It's a Death God incarnate. It could be dangerous."
Tim freezes, back still to the room. The temperature seems to drop several degrees. The Bats scramble to take defensive stances. "What?"
"Tim, Son, I know your head is probably a bit messed up right now. But we are your family. We are. And you have to remember, I know you remember, you made a Deal with a Death God to bring me back. And it took advantage of your body to give itself human form. That's not a child, that is a Death God incarnate and it is m-"
Danny glances up over Tim's shoulder, wide eyes brimming with tears, before burying his face back in Tim's shoulder with a high whine straight from his core. Danny knows that Tim isn't his dad. That means Tim's dad isn't his grandad and his siblings aren't aunts and uncles.
Danny knows this big, loving albeit extremely dysfunctional isn't actually his family. But his core apparently didn't get the memo. So the rejection still hurts. It bites and stings and aches along the Y-shaped wound that doesn't physically exist on this body but Danny can still feel it scarred into his soul. And Danny doesn't really know what he did wrong here, but his tiny toddler body is full of big feelings and his Obsession demands he try to fix it, to regain the family's approval.
"Saw-we. I di-int wannoo take ad-ban-tage ob Tim. Wuh jus posed to we-go m' boh-dee. O a boh-dee. My boh-dee wuh hut bad an it wu-int he-wing an Cawk-wuk said dis would be good. Tim uh-gweed, to bing Buce home, I could he-uh inside him. Use his body as a temp-ate to fit mine. I doh-no wuh wen wong. I doh-no. Saw-we. M saw-we. I dunno. M saw-we."
.
Toddler translations again:
"Oh. Yeah. Uh... can I borrow a t-shirt?"
"Diapers?"
"Do I have to wear [a] diaper?"
"Sorry. I didn't want to take advantage of Tim. [I] Was just supposed to regrow my body. Or a body. My body was hurt bad and it wasn't healing and Clockwork said this would be good. Tim agreed, to bring Bruce home, I could heal inside him. Use his body as a template to fix mine. I don't know what went wrong. I don't know. Sorry. I'm sorry. I don't know. I'm sorry."
Just a little idea
What if when Tim went off to look for Batman when he was lost in time he bumped into Phantom.
They made a Deal
Phantom knowing CW helped him find Bruce and how to get him back safely, Phantom in return for reasons (hurt badly & recovering, or evolving in power) needed someone very ecto-contaminated (Ra's fault) like Tim, to be contained in.
From a magic user point of view, knowing very little of the GZ and how they work, Tim made a very powerful Deal with a powerful death being (High Ghost King Phantom: Hello!) and is now somehow pregnant (not really but they don't know that)
Danny while inside Tim inside his core can still hear the world outside normally and can share his emotions with Tim to communicate. Which looks a lot like Tim is speaking to his belly just like expecting parents do.
This could be angst or crack
or
my personal favourite, different genres for different pov's
Tim's would be happy, just regular getting his life back together being a total BAMF, coming of age type of vibe
The rest of the Batfam and other heroes pov would be angst, paranormal, psychological horror.
Misunderstandings galore
Dick regretting heavily his decisions which caused Tim to run away because he did not believe him and he has many Regrets.
Bruce feeling guilty that Tim felt the need to make such a decision as to make a Deal and end up pregnant just to bring him back.
Meanwhile the magic users have told the other heroes about Tim's situation and now think that he's going to give birth to the child of a very powerful death being and if something happens to Tim to risk the baby it would cause all of their worlds destruction.
so pretty much-
Tim-Girl Boss, Gatekeep, Gaslight
Batfam- Much Angst
Others- *panicked chicken noises*
~
Just an Idea
#This was supposed to just be a short scene about Alfred being the only one sensible enough to actually prepare for a baby#But alas - I am incapable of staying away from the angst#Also I hope I'm doing okay with the toddler talk#Danny obviously has a vocabulary way above a normal toddler#But the physical oral dexterity to actually pronounce all those words is another matter all together

Capital Idea as Buffalo Bills Prepare for More Divisional Grappling
Congratulate Washington for their field goal. They didn’t even get the score over on behalf of degenerate gamblers, so at least it seems like the game wasn’t fixed. Only one fanbase wishes it were.
The Buffalo Bills welcomed results in a way those with financial stakes didn’t get. There are bigger challenges ahead than guessing the point total. The reigning AFC East champions finally face another divisional matchup after breezing through a non-conference schedule portion. FCS-level competition is over.
It’s tough to measure defenders statistically unless they do something exceptional. Terrel Bernard made it easy to notice. How does he top a sack? An interception is an even more effective way to disrupt a pass attempt. Throw in a recovered fumble for a Bernard hat trick. He even added a second sack for a four-goal outing. Tage Thompson was undoubtedly impressed.
Blitzing is legal? The greatest change since the coach also became his own subordinate has been the willingness to modify plans like trying to gather the gang for a movie. Stubbornly sticking with a philosophy instead of responding to conditions leads to soft coverage at times we unfortunately remember as a precise quantity of seconds. Sean McDermott knows the best chance for a successful repair is to fix it himself.
Stopping Washington at the goal line’s edge early in the second quarter when the result was still in question reflected play-calling that was as aggressive as the play. The defense is bending but not breaking the philosophy of bending but not breaking.
A welcome new option contributed to a high percentage of sacking Sam Howell nine times. Leonard Floyd would fit with any defense and especially this one. Briefly setting a rate of tackling the quarterback behind the line of scrimmage on every play ever was an exciting two-play stretch. He still set a pretty good standard. Floyd is notably versatile in pursuit as seen in sacks that respectively reflected uncommon speed and viciousness.
Big steals are the most fun way for recuperating players to make their comebacks official. Micah Hyde brought back the Jambi chant for fans who miss both Paul Reubens and John Paragon. Similarly, Tre White tending the goal was terrific for more than the play itself. Nothing is heartening to Bills fans like a fantastic turnover created by a universally beloved player who still appears to occasionally lag during his recovery process. Let this be the boost and sign he needs.
Can you throw it over A.J. Epenesa? That’s a fun way to learn the answer is no. He scored twice as many points as Washington if you want to know how the day went.
Throwing an interception of his own was an unnecessary attempt to keep conditions fair. Did Josh Allen’s turnover constitute an acceptable risk? I’d call it borderline. The questionable force didn’t affect anything other than football square pools. But the general sense that he’s still trying to shoehorn in completions could affect the Bills in closer contests. You may have much preferred fitting in a rocket to Diggs that the defender deflected to him in a call that was as close as Lando escaping from the Death Star. I’m sorry for the spoiler.
Patience paid off. Is this Earth? it’s nice to see examples about doing what’s wise actually working for once. Trying to not eat a Paula’s donut before the salad sets up joy later as long as you can postpone fun for just a moment.
Gabe Davis changing directions really is unjust. How is any cornerback supposed to turn with him? Balancing calls makes life even trickier for defenders, who should know it’s okay to cry. A strategy learned playing Tecmo Bowl is as basic as it is fundamental. The Bills got just the foe to test it against. Buffalo and Washington technically have the same record.
Rushing at the right times is a sign of maturity for an offense that treats throwing like a social media dance craze. Buffalo’s best running back since Thurman fake-high-fived the saddest capital-area fans possible after knowing just when to take off.
Eric Bieniemy and I spell our family names slightly differently. He supervised more successful drives this week than me, but only barely. Cherish an extra side benefit of holding his offense to a garbage time field goal, namely a week without hearing how racist the NFL is for not giving him a head coaching job. It’s almost like he’s good as long as he coordinates skilled players.
Conditions are only relevant if you keep throwing away the ball. Modest rain made the afternoon in Maryland look comfortable, at least if your favorite team didn’t lose by 34.
Washington sold out like Howard Stern thanks to Bills fans who enjoyed a win in a setting that wast homey if not quite home. This team’s followers are used to traveling to a stadium stuck in the distant suburbs. In honor of the contributions, they should have played Shout. The hosts missed a chance to let everyone hear the Isley Brothers version.
Teams can only control how they play against who they play. The opponent obviously affects every moment. As with everything else in life, our reaction is the only thing we control and thus the most important aspect. Enjoy the life lesson along with a comically lopsided result.
The best clubs minimize the impact their foes exert. All they could do with the opportunity was expose Washington. Their next enemy faced an even sadder side. Denver is playing like they’re hosting an estate sale.
Buffalo isn’t going to face another quarterback learning how not to make a fifth mistake. As for their own passer, Allen must continue to not imagine opportunities are available during a game that’ll be watched by action fans in addition to backers of the two competitors. Expecting a 90-point game with slightly more balance seems reasonable. Out-balancing the Dolphins will tilt the score in their favor.

Where the Wild Things Are Pt 3
<Theme>
The pool beneath Valhaas Barrow came from a subterranean river said to stretch all the way from the Black Shroud. The source of nearly every oasis in Thanalan, it remained the sole reason why the Miqo'te and various beast tribes could even survive in the dust-swept wastes. This water was as precious as it was sacred, reserved only for those closest resembling the divine image of Azeyma. The punishment for any Tia, slave, or outsider in this holy place was death.
The walls were painted by the many hands of women who came before. Some told tales of legendary heroes, others of harrowing tragedies; but the space along the ground was reserved for the kittens, who doodled rough paintings of flowers, or the sun, or even each other. Era wanted to place her mark in this place too one day, but she wanted to make it count- she wanted it to mean something.
“Well?” Her mother asked, catching her attention. She stood with two aunts, and all three stared at the woman expectantly. “We can’t get you clean if you’re not naked.”
Era was hesitant, but begrudgingly obeyed, starting with her boots before working her way up. When she first left her family to search for Tage, she had only a few scrapes on her hands from pulling feisty rodents from their tunnels and homes; but the more skin she revealed now, the paler her mother became. Era had her shirt halfway over her head when she was swarmed by her and her aunts.
“Were you stabbed?! Beaten?!” Yuun traced a few scars on Era’s stomach with her finger. “Gunshot wounds… did the shelled men do this?”
Era was barely able to get a word out when their hands began poking and prodding at all of her past injuries; something about this made her feel more vulnerable and ashamed now more than ever. “Y-yes, the Garleans-”
“What happened to your arm?!” Her mother grabbed her by the elbow and held her forearm close to her face. “Is this a burn?! How did this happen?!”
“Mom, please!” Era yanked her arm back and slinked away from their incessant touching. “It’s a long story… all of it is…” Telling them about how ‘Had-rel’ commanded her to stick her hand into a crackling fireplace was the last thing on her mind. Or the time she was shot during her ambush against that Garlean century. Or the time she got smacked in the side of the head and lost consciousness for a minute. Or all the times she was beaten during her many training lessons.
She aptly decided to change the subject before they continued to pelt her with questions.
“Do I have to do this? I don’t… I don’t want to mate with him, mom…”
Her mother’s face was still flushed with worry, but a reassuring smile began to creep along the corners of her lips. “Leave us.” She commanded, sending the grumbling women back upstairs to give them the space they needed. Era flinched and looked away when she casually pulled off her clothes; she knew she would have to be naked, but she wasn’t expecting her mother to do the same. Her skin was like polished porcelain, with her rich brown hair ending in small curls that almost reached to her knees once she let it all down. Even after giving birth seven times, her body remained a work of art. It was hard not to stare, harder still not to be envious; Era could only hope to have half a body like her mothers in twenty years. “We used to bathe all the time naked together, dear. Why are you so nervous now? All that time in those tribeless cities has affected you.” She reached over and gently took her daughter by the hand. “Come come, into the water while it’s still warm.”
Getting washed by her mother made her feel like a kitten all over again- a recurring theme since returning to her home. The water was warmed by dropping smoldering rocks heated by the bonfire into the depths, but the pool itself was surprisingly shallow- barely reaching over her hips while sitting down. Era definitely remembered being able to float in this exact pool when she was just a little younger. Did she really grow so fast? Or has the pool been shrinking since she departed?
Her mother started with her hair, massaging raw honey into her scalp until it ran down her chest, shoulders, and back. “You need to grow out your hair. Keeping it short is cute... but there isn’t a Nunh alive that wouldn’t kill to gaze upon your body with hair that reaches the floor.”
“Mmmn…” Was all Era could mumble in between licking at the honey dripping too close to her mouth; the little bit of boar she ate from her mother’s helping wasn’t nearly enough.
“Era…?” Her mother started, causing her ears to perk. “You have been mating in the cities?” She did her best to conceal her startled shock, but her flattening ears and her tail thrashing about in the water beside her mother gave away the truth. Era’s mind frantically raced as she tried to conjure up a convincing lie, but her sudden silence only further proved her guilt.
“W-what are you t-talking about…?”
“I know bite marks when I see them.” She gave her daughter’s shoulder a few sharp pinches. “These ones look recent… very recent. You were supposed to save your first time for your Nunh.”
“W-well, I… I figured… w-why not practice…? F-for when I’m with my Nunh, I mean…” Era didn’t dare turn to look her mother in the eyes; the heat searing her face, neck, and now shoulders, was enough to boil this water. “That makes sense… r-right…?”
“A man has patience for a maiden.” She started, with the tone of her voice darkening. “Don’t tell Vahli about your ‘practice’, I don’t know how he will react.” Her mother paused to gather her hair in her hands to expose Era’s shoulders and back. She then plucked a lump of cactuar flesh out of the water to rub against her skin; with luck, the rejuvenating flesh would help conceal her more recent love marks. “What is his name?”
“Zevi…” For some reason she decided against revealing his tribe, not that it mattered; he cut all ties with them long ago.
“A Tia from the tribeless cities.” Yuun mused, working down one of Era’s arms. “He must be quite something for you to abandon your duties to the tribe. What is he like? Is he handsome? Strong?”
Era bit her lip for a moment in silence, but the silence did only last for a moment. “Brown skin burned by the sun. Black hair like raven feathers… and looking into his eyes is like staring up at the bright blue sky. Is he handsome…? Mom, he’s gorgeous…” She blinked a few times before clearing her throat. “And um… he’s strong enough to punch a deeproot tree out of the ground with a single punch. He was with me when I stormed that castrum to avenge Tage’s dea-...” Mentioning his name again put a dull ache in her heart; she thought she was over his death, but being here… where her journey all began… and it almost felt like she was right back in her apartment, staring at his ruined corpse all over again.
“I’m so sorry, honey…” Her mother leaned forward and wrapped her arms around her. “I know you wanted him. But he is with Azeyma now… hunting in Her endless fields of eternal sunlight.”
Era leaned into her mother’s embrace and closed her eyes. “Mom… I… I don’t want to lose Zevi. But if I defy the Nunh… I’ll lose my family…” Slowly she turned to look her mother in the eyes. “What do I do…?”
She planted a wet kiss on Era’s temple before sitting upright to continue scrubbing her daughter’s skin. “When your father became the tribe’s Nunh, he had to kill my father to do it. I was… I was so angry that this overgrown brute murdered my father and expected me to have his children in return… like I should be thanking him for taking my father away from me. I planned on killing him before it was my turn to pleasure him, you know. I almost went through with it.”
“What stopped you…?”
“My mother did. Killing him wouldn’t bring my father back… and it would only put the entire tribe in terrible danger. Any Tia could walk in and claim us as their wives without having to fight for it. No… instead of that, my mother suggested a better way. I learned Rarku’s secrets, memorized what made him tick, and discovered his deepest desires. I did my duty as his wife, and eventually had him eating out of the palm of my hand. Men are simple creatures… and easy to please. I guess what I’m saying is…”
“To do my duty and stop complaining?” Era groaned. “I don’t know if that’s something I wa-ow! Ow ow ow!” Yuun gave her daughter a warm smile as she continued to pinch and twist her ear.
“Let me finish.” She firmly spoke, eventually releasing her. “You can’t have your family and your forbidden love if you don’t have his favor. Do what us wives do best, dear… turn your will into law.” She took Era by the chin and turned her head toward her. “If you’re successful, you may even be able to convince him to let you visit the tribeless cities every few years or so.”
They remained quiet for the rest of the bath. Yuun washed the honey from Era’s hair thrice over, until her locks shimmered in the flickering torchlight. She ran a bison-hair comb through the fur on her tail until it glided effortlessly from base to tip, and lastly she scrubbed Era’s face with hardened animal fat and spearmint leaves. As soon as her mother rinsed her face, she shot up to her feet in a hurry. "What-?! Where do you think you are going without your clothes?!"
"There’s only two things I can do that shouldn’t be done with clothes on." Era called back, turning to look down at her mother. “If I want Vahli to do what I want… I need to leave an impression. Goodbye, mother, and thank you for the bath.” Without another word she spun on her heel and began marching to the exit, foregoing her clothes and leaving her mother and her dignity behind.
Walking among tribekin topless or wearing little more than war paint and boots wasn’t an uncommon sight for this sect. The concept of modesty was a little more ambiguous around here, with many kittens running around butt-naked during the summer migrations. But for a fully grown woman strutting her stuff and soaked from bathing in the blessed waters was, well, just strange enough to garner attention.
Era held her breath and stepped beyond the curtain dividing the sacred pools from the rest of Valhaas Barrow. The searing heat returned to her face and shoulders the moment she saw familiar faces down the hall, but it was too late to turn back now; she was in deep, and if her confidence wavered now, she wouldn’t be capable of seducing Vahli, and her chance of keeping both her tribe and Zevi in her life would blow up in her face. “If I refuse Vahli, and return to Ul’dah, I would never see my mother and family again. If I fail to impress Vahli, I wouldn’t be able to be with Zevi.” Era had to focus on organizing her thoughts to distract her from the gawking stares. Most of the slaves averted their gazes when she strode into view, while many of the warrior women nodding approvingly. “I need to blow his mind to keep both my tribe and my love. Gods… I hope he’s not worrying about me…” She caught a glimpse of Denoh sitting alone in the corner with his boar scraps in his grasp, but she looked away before their eyes met. Despite the audible gasps or faint whispers, Era found herself handling this situation quite well; at the very least, nobody was trying to stop her, or call her out by her name-
“Yeah-hahah! Errraaaa!” Chaje Koss hollered and shouted when she briskly marched by, holding a half-empty skin; with three empty skins littered around her staggering feet. She was as sloppy drunk as you could get on fermented goat’s milk without also getting food poisoning. “Go get you some! Hahaha- yeeeeaaaahhhh!” Soon others joined in, giving the ‘champion of Azeyma’ a round of applause. Era wanted to wither away and die, but she couldn’t stop herself from smiling at her aunt’s slurred encouragement. She awkwardly waved at them before reaching the bottom of the incline, and the spiraling tunnel that led to her destination.
Era stormed into his personal chambers by nearly ripping the leather curtain from the ceiling. Vahli was hunched over the stone table with Auntie Shepka, the Lady of War, at his shoulder when they both looked up at the same time to witness her and all her splendor. She stood there in silence as she caught her breath, letting her Nunh’s gaze follow the beads of water trickle down her shapely form. Era could feel his eyes on the bullet scars dotted on her stomach, the discoloration from the old burn halfway up her forearm, and the deep scratches covering her fingers. Judging by his ears flattening against his head and his thick tail twitching under the table, he clearly liked what he saw. Yet she couldn’t tell if he was speechless or not; he wasn’t exactly a chatterbox when they first met out by the bonfire.
Fortunately Shepka was willing to break the awkward silence. “Ahem… you should tend to this…” She reached over and rolled the leather up before tucking it under her arm. “We’ll discuss our plans later when you have more time.” Vahli still didn’t speak- he simply nodded in her direction, but his gaze never left Era. In fact they kept their staring contest going as Shepka walked past her on her way to leave, and the naked woman didn’t blink until the two were alone at last.
Vahli pushed off the table and stood up straight. His pointed ears were only a fulm and a quarter away from brushing against the ceiling. “Your scars… you’ve seen many battles…?” Era caught on to the tone of his voice almost immediately; he was distracted… surprised… nervous. She could use this. It felt like that time she seduced that Lalafell in the Gold Saucer, but she knew he wasn't lonely enough for her to come on that strong. She closed her eyes, took a few deep and steady breaths, and relaxed; the rest came naturally.
“I didn’t come all this way to talk.” Era stepped back and reached behind her to make sure the curtain was fully closed. A shy smile spread across her face once she began walking along the wall, plucking each torch up and blowing them out like candles; one by one she dimmed the room, until only a single torch resting on the table beside Vahli remained.
Era emerged from the dark, her blue eyes reflecting the only light source left in this chamber. There were no chocobo down beds, and no cotton pillows or wool blankets for them to rest on; only the loose dirt floor and the hard stone table. "I will return to you…" She reached up and grabbed her Nunh by the bone necklace, and pulled him down into her awaiting kiss.
"Whatever the price… I'll pay it!"

2021-08-01
Draussen ist das Wetter trüb. Die Schweiz feiert Geburtstag. Nationalfeiertag.
Da steckt also dieses Ding in meiner Brust. Es will mich töten.
Outside, the weather is gloomy. Switzerland celebrates its birthday. National holiday. I assume that the gloomy weather is for Switzerland and not for me. My mood has also been rather gloomy for the last two days. What goes up comes down? Well, it can't be that bad. It's simply that a deep fatigue has now taken hold of me. This is sometimes debilitating, and it shouldn't be. So yesterday I went out of the house and met up with my soccer friends for the match. FCZ won 3:1, put in a good performance and for me it was nice to get out. But also very exhausting, as I realized when I got back home.
So there's this thing stuck in my chest. It wants to kill me. It's not a conscious decision and yet it is. So now it's it or me. The thing is abstract, it's there, giving me coughs and breathing problems. That's why I noticed it in the first place. And I am lucky that it still concentrates on itself and has not already migrated to other parts of my body.
I know it will be a long fight. And after 4 days I already realize that chemotherapy is a tedious, exhausting process that can set me back on myself. I now have to find a way to deal with it, to be positive, not to disappear into my shell. Everything that was said in the abstract before now has to be done.
It is crass that the thing should be a part of me, it comes from my cells, grows in me. That makes it more difficult than fighting an enemy that comes from outside. The fight against the thing can thus also develop into a fight against myself, my body, and I want to prevent that at all costs.
Now I just want to get this dreary Sunday behind me. It will probably rain the whole day. I'll go out with the doggies.
En el exterior, el tiempo es sombrío. Suiza celebra su cumpleaños. Fiesta patria.

Songs I associate the Seventeen Members with
Decided to do the SVT Tage game made by @milkteafairy-hyeri. She said anyone who wants to do it and so here i am lol! (Also tagging @woozisnoots since she also did a “anyone who wants to do it”)
List songs in your playlist and strictly on your phone playlist which you associate the Seventeen members with! It’s up to you if u wanna add an explanation!
TBH this was really hard to do x.x Like none of my music really reminded me of them cause if i’m not listening to Kpop Im listening to hard rock or parody music x.x
Im tagging...anyone who wants to do this! Just tag me so i can see your choices <3
Seungcheol
Warriors - Aaliyah Rose (She-Ra theme song)
Tbh this just feels like Cheollie to me, as a leader he is always there for his members and supports them so much.
Room Shaker - Ailee
This song just reminds me of his on stage duality. like specifically this gif i saw forever ago but couldn’t find it again x.x
Jeonghan
Goodnight My Angel - Celtic Woman
The title kinda explains itself lol. It’s a really pretty lullaby, and he likes sleeping so much and he’s an angel and it was cute.
Troublemaker - Olly Murs ft. Flo Rida
So it was either this song or Chillin’ Like a Villain from Descendants 2. But this one fit a bit better. All his cheating in games and how he is just kinda chaotic, it made me giggle thinking about.
Joshua
Sing for You - EXO
This song just screams Joshua to me, i would love to hear him (and tbh the whole group) do a cover of this song. I can just imagine him playing his guitar and singing and it just makes me soft to think about.
Dragon Slayer - NSP (E)
It just reminded me of how anytime the fandom calls him the Gentleman of the group and the rest of SVT is just like “NAH”. (don’t read too much into this choice lol it just made me giggle)
Junhui
Níl Sé’n Lá - Celtic Woman
So this song is legit just about partying and having fun and not thinking about what will come tomorrow, and it just really reminded me of Jun’s cheerful personality.
Otsukimi Recital - Jin,IA
This one, reminded me of him comforting Yanan during that Chinese show they did together. The whole song is about trying to make someone close to you feel better and I just imagined Jun singing it to Yanan and it made me really happy.
Also translates to Moon viewing recital, and his Korean last name is Moon.
Soonyoung
I Don’t Know What We’re Talking About - NSP
I imagine that this song is sometimes what it’s like to be in Soonyoung’s brain lol sometimes it doesn’t make sense but it always makes you laugh.
Caffeine - RWBY
This song is so hype for me and just reminds me of how he is live on stage. It is also a song called Caffeine and that boy has energy for literal DAYS.
Wonwoo
Kataomoi - Aimer
So this song starts out kinda sad but gets happier at the end, and it really reminded me of how Wonwoo had talked about himself during Hit the Road. How he was curious why people liked him. it was also super chill like he usually is.
My Only Chance - The Toxic Avenger
So this song is from one of my fave video game soundtracks. It’s a really chill song and feels like it would fit Wonwoo’s vibe, and the fact that he is a gamer.
Jihoon
Breathe (2 AM) - Anna Nalick
So this is dumb but i mostly picked this because A. It was just kind a chill kinda sound and B. Because of the line “2 am and i’m still awake writing a song”, it just reminded me of all that Jihoon does.
Rock Show - Halestorm
DRUMMER WOOZI
Seokmin
Sunny Summer - Gfriend
This boy is literally sunshine, and i could also see him dancing to this song and just being super cute.
Dinosaur Laser Fight - NSP (E)
That skit they did where he was the English teacher? Yeah this song is what it would have been if he was a science teacher in that skit.
Mingyu
Ka-CHING! - EXO-CBX
The guys always tease him about having a lot of money so this is just where my brain went.
Guy.exe - Superfruit
“Six feet tall and super strong” I may pick on Kim Mingyu but this boy would be perfect BF material.
Minghao
Dear Fellow Traveller - Sea Wolf
This song just had a vibe that screamed Minghao to me. Just a kind of mysterious yet welcoming feel. If that makes sense.
Drop Dead Gorgeous - April Smith and the Great Picture Show
So i love this song and I feel Minghao could relate, because it’s talking about wanting to be with someone that’s smart and not just pretty. The tag line is “Cause if you’re just drop dead gorgeous, you should just drop dead.” saying that if there isn’t anything going on in your brains, then you need to GTFO and that just felt vry Minghao to me.
Seungkwan
Sweets for Two - Interlunium
1. Seungkwan is sweet as sugar, 2. Seungkwan is a foodie <3
Pillow Talking (feat. Brain) - Lil Dicky, Brain (E)
Okay hear me out, this would legit be him arguing with someone about these things. I can legit see him having similar reactions to Lil Dicky in the song and it had me cackling just thinking about it.
Vernon
Retro Future - Triple H
Vernon’s whole closet just screamed this song at me (i know he’s changing to darker colors but until it’s happened i still got Tie-dye Vernon on the brain)
Popsicle - UHSN
This is literally just because my all time favorite look for Vernon is this one
Chan
Yakusoku no Kizuna - Risa Taneda
K-POP’S FUTURE LEE CHAN! This is all about working hard for your goals and being able to keep going forward because of the people around you.
Byakuya ~True Light~
TBH this is legit just because i had an idea for a D.N.Angel au where Chan would take Daisuke’s role >.> (and Jeonghan would be Dark) that’s honestly it.

Origins Day 1 Part 4
He saw a red figure coming towards him as the screaming got louder, but before he could doing anything the figure smacked into him, sending them both tumbling towards the ground. Adrien felt the figure, another person, smack against his chest as, was that string?, wrapped around them. Right before the could hit the ground they suddenly stopped. The string had not only tangled them up, but saved them from a very painful landing.
Adrien looked at the person tangled up with him. a girl that appeared around his age with blue haired pigtails and a domino mask just like his, though hers was ladybug patterned.
“Well her there,” he greeted, “nice of you to drop in.”
“I’m sorry.” the girl apologized. “I didn’t do it on purpose.”
“I bet your the partner my Kwami told me about,” Adrien said, as soon as his feet were on the ground again and he was no longer tangled up with the girl. “I’m…mmm…” he couldn’t believe he hadn’t thought of a name yet. “Chat Noir. Yeah, Chat Noir.” He liked it, nice, simple. easy to remember and self explanatory. He looked to the girl who was trying to get her…yoyo? untangled from his baton which was still balancing above them between the two roof tops. “And you are?”
“I’m Mar-oh-mal-eh“ She said, pulling on her yoyo, also sounding like she hadn’t thought of a name. She stopped as her yoyo gave way. She reached out to grab it but unfortunately for Adrien, or Chat Noir as he was now being called, it thunked him on the head. His baton landed beside his feet with a clatter. “Madly clumsy.” the girl finished. “I am so clumsy.”
“No sweat clumsy girl,” Chat Noir said, grabbing his baton. “I’m learning the ropes too.”
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
The ground shook which each boom. He and the girl both looked up and watched as the Montparnasse Tower collapsed.
Chat Noir didn’t allow himself to feel horrified at what he just witness. He knew he needed to he help out and take down this villain before it could destroy anything else.
He ran forward, shoving his baton towards the ground, allowing it to expand and vault him over to the tower, and Stoneheart.
Time to actually be a hero.
Marinette watched as the black cat theme person accurately named Chat Noir, vault himself towards danger.
“Hey wait!” she called after him as he landed on the roof of a nearby building. “Where are you going?”
There was no way he could be heading towards Stoneheart. They hadn’t trained nor did they have a plan. There was no way they could take down a rock monster.
“To save Paris, right.” Chat Noir called back to her.
So maybe she had been wrong.
She watched as he jumped away, not being able to do anything to stop him.
She looked down at the yoyo in her hand. “Trust yourself.” she whispered, remembering all the words of encouragement Tikki had said to her before disappearing into the earrings.
“Trust yourself.” she said, this time with a bit more forced confidence as she threw her hand back, spinning the yoyo, before flinging it towards the building Chat Noir had just jumped form. With a pulled and a scream, she was once again airborne, whether she wanted to be or not.
She so wasn’t cut out for this.
Chat Noir arrived at a stadium where Stoneheart was chasing a kid about his age. Chat Noir got his baton ready, aiming for just in front of the stone monster just as the kid trip and fell, successfully cutting Stoneheart off.
“Hey,” he said landing, as the monsters target ran off. He brought his baton up to sit on his should, “it’s not very nice to pick on people who are smaller then you.”
“I guess you’re talking about yourself.” Stoneheart said. He pulled back in fist and swung it down aiming to squash Chat Noir.
But Chat was expecting it. After all, what do you get when goading a villain. He jumped out of the way, placing his baton in front of him so he could fended himself. While this may not be like fencing, hopefully he’d be able to fight the monster off just fine.
Stoneheart tried to smack him flat, like he was just an annoying bug but Chat managed to jump out of the way again.
When Stoneheart stuck down at him a third time, he was ready. He used the rocky fist as a jumping point, landing on the back of the things head and smacking him with the metal baton before jumping to safely.
A yellow light surrounded Stoneheart causing him to double in size, turning around to face Chat Noir, defiantly pissed off now.
That so wasn’t good.
“Where are you partner?” Chat Noir asked, mainly to himself since it was just him and Stoneheart. Now would so be a good time to have some back up.
Marinette watched as Chat Noir tried fighting Stoneheart, causing monster Ivan to just get bigger and angrier, though his main form of attack still seemed to be trying to squash Chat Noir like a bug. Like what she currently was.
“Oh, I can’t. I’m not going to be able to do it.” Marinette. Tikki should have chosen someone with confidence, who was athletic and had all their limbs and wasn’t a complete scary cat.
Marinette watched in horror as Stoneheart lifted up the goal and flung it at Chat Noir, who managed to dodge it, but now it way flying towards the stadium entrance where Alya was crouching, filming the interaction on her phone. Chat Noir saw what was happening and flung his baton out, causing to expand and suspended itself over the concrete above Alya. The goal hit the baton, and bounced off, landing in the grass beside an unharmed Alya.
Chat Noirs act of heroism caused him to not pay attention to Stoneheart, who picked up the feline hero in one of his giant fists.
“What are you waiting for super red bug.” Alya’s voice called out to her. “The world is watching you.”
Now most people would think this would only set Marinette into a deeper spiral of panic but it actually helped. As Marigold, Marinette was used to trending to be someone else, and while as the base of it, she was still the same as Marigold, she didn’t change her personality completely, Marigold knew what to say or do, how to be confident and with a few tweaks, maybe even be a hero.
Marinette looked back at the Stoneheart held Chat Noir strapped, forcing any her fear and doubt, replacing it with determination. She could do this. First things first, rescue her partner.
Marinette jumped from the top of the stadium, eyes locked on Stoneheart, as she flung her yoyo out, wrapping around Stonehearts legs, as she slid between them.
“Animal cruelty? How shameful.” she said, giving the yoyo string a tug, tying Stonehearts legs together, causing him to fall to the ground, as well as releasing Chat Noir.
Chat Noir bounce across the ground as he was flung from Stonehearts grip. Marinette heard Alya excitedly go ‘yes’ as she rushed over to him.
“Sorry it took so long, Chat Noir.” she apologized.
“It’s cool Wonder Bug,” he said. He stretched out as he got to his feet. “Not lets kick his rocky behind.”
He rushed towards Stoneheart but Marinette grabbed his tail, his belt? tail, yanking him back towards her. “Wait.” she said. “Haven’t you noticed? He gets bigger and stronger with every attack. We have to do something different.”
But what?’
“Different how?” Chat Noir asked, as if reading her mind.
Which was un-usefully blank. “Uh,” she let out dumbly. She hadn’t really gotten that far in her plan. “I don’t know.”
“Okay,” Chat Noir said. He turned and faced Stoneheart. “Let’s use our powers. CATACLYSM!”
Chat Noir glanced at his hand, which not had black puffs of black smoke or something toxic looking, coming off of it. He turned to bug girl. “Apparently i destroy whatever I touch.” he told her.
“I don’t need a superpower to destroy everything.” Bug girl said, though it sounded like she only meant for herself to hear it. Chat Noir wondered if the cat ears actually gave him cat like hearing. He’d have to test it out later.
For now, lets see what this hand could do.
Chat Noir turned around and touched the goal post, watching in fascination as it started to rust.
“No! Don’t do that!” Bug girl yelled right as his hand made contact. What was her problem?
The goal post collapsed along with the rest of it.
“Cool!” Chat Noir said, turning back to Stoneheart. “It’s just you and me now.”
He ran towards the monster. “Time to rumble, soon to be rubble.”
“Chat Noir,” Bug girl called after him. “Wait.”
Why wait when he was about to end this thing?
Chat Noir jumped int eh air, propelling himself way higher then he would without the magic suit, smacking his hand against one fo Stonehearts toes as he landed.
Nothing happened.
Why isn’t anything happening? It worked on the goal post.
He tapped his hand against the toe a few times. Maybe he just didn’t get enough contact.
Nothing.
“Oh oh,” he said, looking up at the massive stone monster. “I guess I only get one shot to use my power.”
He waved at Stoneheart. Maybe if he looked none threatening, he wouldn’t be squished.
Well he was half right, he thought to himself as Stoneheart kicked back towards bug girl.
“And you only have five minutes before you transform back,” Bug girl told him as she looked down at him disapprovingly. “Didn’t you kwami explain anything to you?”
“Chat Noir put his hands behind his head somewhat sheepish but still wanting to appear confident. After all, it’s not like he was hurt. “I guess I was a little excited about my new life.”
“Well, up to me.” Bug girl said. She flung her yoyo up into the sky. “LUCKY CHARM!”
Marinette watched as a red light came from her yoyo and…a bodysuit fell from the sky. Wasn’t this power suppose to be helpful?
“Super power.” Chat Noir said in a slightly mocking tone, though it didn’t sound like he was trying to be hurtful.
“My Kwami told me I had to break the object where the, whatchamacallit, the akuma, is hiding.” Marinette explained.
“Well,” Chat Noir said, “he’s made entirely out of stone.”
“His right hand,” Marinette said, trying to think up a plan as she looked at a slowly approaching Stoneheart. “It’s still closed. He never opened it. It’s like the Russian dolls. The object isn’t on him, it’s hidden in his fist.”
“So what’s you plan?” Chat Noir asked.
Marinette looked back at Stoneheart, thinking. It was as if the world went black and white. Stonehearts fist lit up in red with black polkadots. So did Alya who was still filming on the other side of the field. And finally so did the hose, once at where you turned it on and then again where it laid at her and Chats feet.
“This.” Marinette said, reaching down and picking up the hose as her plan formed. She shoved it into the wetsuit, which was like a wetsuit version of her suit, making sure the hose couldn’t slip out.
She then tossed out her yoyo, wrapping it around Chat Noirs feet. “Don’t resist.” She old him. “Trust me.”
She yanked Chat Noir off his feet, who let out a scream of alarm, swinging him around a bunch of times before flinging him away, right into Stonehearts fist.
“This girl’s crazy!” Chat Noir yelled as she did so.
“Catch me if you can.” she taunted Stoneheart. She flung herself at Stoneheart, aiming closer to his right fist.
Just as she’d hoped, Stoneheart opened up his fist, dropping the object hidden within, as he grabbed her.
“And now,” Marinette said, glancing towards her new friend. “Alya! The tap!”
Thankfully Alya got what she meant, instantly running towards the tap and turning it on. Within mamanents the wetsuit expanded, forcing Stoneheart to release her. She landed and instantly ran to the idea he’d dropped, stomping her foot on it. The rock like item crushed under her foot, releasing a black and purple butterfly. She watched it fly away, amazed that she had done it.
Chat Noir watched as bug girl stomped on the time that had following out of Stonehearts hand. A weird black and purple butterfly flew out and away. Purple cracks started to appear along Stoneheart until he was completely incased in them. They crumbled away revealing a large teenage boy around his age.
Chat Noir landed on his butt unceremoniously since there was no longer a rock fist holding him up in the air. He turned and looked back at the bug girl.
“That girl is awesome,” he couldn’t help but say. There was no way he could have saved the day without her. Nor could he have come up with that plan. “She’s crazy awesome.”
“Wha-what’s going on?” The boy who used to be Stoneheart asked. “What am I doing here?”
Chat Noir was confused but he ignored the boy instead turning toward bug girl. “You were incredible miss..a… bug lady.” he complimented. “You did it.”
Bug lady put her hands out in front of her to stop him. “We both did it, partner,” she told him. She put her hand out and Adrien instantly got what she was try8ing to do, throwing his own fist out.
“Pound it,” they both said as they fist bumped.
Chat Noirs ring let out an annoying beeping sound. He glanced at it to see the toxic green paw print blinking.
“You should get going,” Bug lady said. “Our identities must remain secret.”
Fair enough.
Chat Noir gracefully bowed towards his partner, “Fair well milady.” he said turning around and running away. “Let’s do this again soon, okay?” he called behind him.
Marinette watched as he jumped and used his baton to get out of the stadium. “Uh huh,” Marinette agreed. “Not too soon I hope.”
She didn’t need another monster attacking Paris after all.
She glanced back at Ivan who was sitting confused on the ground. She looked at the piece of paper in her hand and couldn’t help but wonder what Kim had written that had sent Ivan off so badly earlier in the day.
“You haven’t even got the guts to tell Mylène you love her, wuss,” she read aloud.
Marinette felt her heart go out to Ivan. She walked doer to him.
“Kim wrote it,” He explained since as far as he knew, she didn’t know who he was or what was going on. “He’s always making fun of me.”
Marinette couched down, placing a hand on his shoulder, hating the ashamed looked on his face. She couldn’t believe how mean Kim could be sometimes. “You know, you should get so bent out of shape about that.” Marinette told him, trying to cheer him up. “There’s no shame in telling someone you love them, Ivan.”
Ivan looked at her confused. “Hey, how do you know my name, miss?”
Marinette quickly pulled her hand away. Shit, she hadn’t thought about that.
“Uncanny.” Marinette turned and saw Alya crouched close to them, still filming. “Amazing! Spectacular! Are you protecting Paris from now on? How did you get your powers? Did you get stung by a radioactive ladybug?”
Marinette defaulted to her reporter training, ignoring Alya’s questions as she headed towards the end of the stadium so she could leave.
“Oh I have a ton of questions to ask you, miss, uh…” Alya trailed off.
“Ladybug. Call me Ladybug,” Marinette watched herself say to Alya before using her yoyo to propel herself to the top of the stadium and way.
“Ladybug,” Alya repeated, keeping her phone’s camera on Marinette as Ladybug. “Super awesome.”
The screen went back to Nadja of TVi. “So thanks to this ammeter forage,” she said, “ the Parisians now know the identities of their heroes.”
Marinette couldn’t help but smile. “I did it Tikki.” she said happily.
Tikki, who had reappeared once the Ladybug costume had transformed back, thankfully returning Marinette to normal, black hair, regular prosthetic and everything, floated up to her face. “You see, you were up to it.” she said hugging her cheek. Marinette closed her and nudged her with her head affectionally.
“Marinette, dinner time!” Her maman called from downstairs. Marinette turned her computer off and made her way downstairs, a little hop in her step, feeling proud of what she’d done to protect her city and save Ivan from the evil butterfly thing.
Marinette got downstairs to see her maman and dad by the table with the TV on to the news.
“I am please to announce we will be holding a huge celebration in honour of our cities new protectors, Ladybug and Chat Noir.” Mayor Bourgeois announced from in front of Hôtel de Ville.
“Ladybug. Her name is Ladybug.” Adrien said, watching Mayor Bourgeois’s news conference. He couldn’t stop thinking about her and the way she had saved the day. He wondered if she was English since she chose an English name for her hero persona.
“EWIE!” Plagg said flying over to him. Adrien hadn’t even noticed that Plagg had gotten into his food, carrying his desert over to him with a look of disgust on his little face. “What is this?”
“Seriously?” Adrien demanded. He could so do with the annoying flying cat. “My personal chef made all this.”
“If you expected to get my energy back,” Plagg said, throwing the dessert to the ground, “after a transformation, I need to eat something more delicate.”
Adrien sighed. Why couldn’t he just have a magic ring that gave him powers. “Okay, what do you want?”
“Oh my!” Marinette turned from where she was washing the dishes to look at her maman in alarm. Was she okay? Did something happen?
Her maman was looking at the TV where Nadja was reporting on Stoneheart again.
“Just as Paris is about to celebrate the appearance of our two new superheroes Ladybug and Chat Noir,” Nadja said as the TV changed to show a clip of purple butterfly landing on a lands shoulder, turning him into Stoneheart, “a new wave of panic is sweeping across the capital as dozens of people are mysteriously transformed into stone monsters.”
Marinette felt horror sweep over her and her papa pulled her maman to his chest.
“It’s simply unbelievable,” Nadja continued.
Marinette bolted from the kitchen and up to the privacy of her room so she could talk to Tikki without her parents seeing.
“Camembert cheese,” Adrien said. Why did it have to by stupid, stinky cheese. “Fantastic. All he eats is Camembert cheese, which means I’m going to smell like stinky old cheese.”
“These victims transformed into stone beings,” Nadja caught his attention as she reported on what looked like dozens more Stonehearts, “are still, like statues. Police are perplexed. What will happen to them? Will they come to life? Or will they stay frozen in time forever?”
“Plagg, what’s going on?” Adrien asked, getting to his feet. He thought everything was suppose to be good now that they’d defeated the original Stoneheart. “I thought we defeated him.”
“Did you capture the Akuma?” he asked.
“What’s capturing the Akuma have to do with the other stone beings?” Marinette asked, not understanding what Tikki meant.
“An Akuma can multiply.” Tikki explained. “That’s why it must be captured. If Ivans emotions become negative again then the Akuma will turn him back into Stoneheart again. He’ll control the stone beings and bring them to life to serve as his army.”
“So that means that this is all my fault.” Marinette said, bringing her hands up to her face as panic started to settle in. “I knew it! See Tikki, I’m not cut out to be a superhero. I’m only going to keep messing up.”
“Keep calm, it was only your first time.” Tikki said, trying to reassure her. “You’re going to go back and capture Stonehearts akuma,” Marinette turned her back not wanting to listen to Tikki. She was a failure, “and do it successfully.”?
Marinette whipped around to face Tikki. “I can’t. I told you I’m clumsy, and a cripple, and I create disaster all the time.” she said. “I’m only make things worse, for me, for you, for everyone. Chat Noir will be better off without me. I’m quitting.”
“So I can’t do anything without Ladybug?” Adrien asked Plagg. That sucked.
“Only Ladybug can capture akumas and repair damage caused by super villains.” Plagg explained.
Okay. That was fine. Sure he would have to wait for her to make a move but she had kicked ass earlier in the day so she’d be able to do it again.
Marinette looked at herself in her vanity mirror, only able to see what a failure she was. “If Chat Noir can’t capture akumas then just find another Ladybug. I told you, I’m not cut out to be a hero.” Marinette told Tikki. She was done. She wasn’t a hero and that was the end of it. She took off her prosthetic arm so she could use her numb to help take her earrings off. “I’m sorry Tikki.” she said as she did so.
“No! Don’t ta-“ Whatever Tikki was going to say suddenly cut off. Marinette looked up and saw that Tikki had disappeared.
“Tikki?” she called softly. She looked around her room before sighing. It made sense that Tikki had disappeared now that Marinette had decided not to become a hero.
Marinette turned back to her vanity, where the hexagon box was, and carefully placed the earrings inside, placing the box in the middle door and shutting it away. It was better this way.
“I’m really sorry, Tikki,” Marinette said, feeling grief wash over her. Grief for losing Tikki, who’d she liked, and grief for failing Paris and trapping innocent people as stone monsters.
She’d find a new Ladybug tomorrow. Someone who’d actually be a hero.

Gå tur i naturen.
Hi everyone and thank you for following me ...
A little about being a witch in a modern society.
Remember no one says you have to go with pentagram. High hat. Black clothes or Whatever .
But there are some things that one should do.
And I will come up with some of them here and why.
Walk with bare feet in summer.
Because: when you walk with your feet you get your grounding
Not only that, it is healthy for your feet to have a period of the year when they are not squeezed inside shoes and socks. It does not prevent foot fungus and other bacteria from holding in your feet.
So enjoy the summer and hot days with bare toes.
Remember you can also take it in small doses in winter it just as healthy ...
Burn sage.
Because: Sage is proven to kill bacteria both by yourself and the environment you burn it in ...
Meditate.
Because: By meditation, you charge yourself with cosmic energy. The energy you also use when you make spells / rituals / magic for example
It also good for your psyche. Your body and for your spiritual hormone dmt (Yes the brain produces DMT itself) DMT is the hormone that do so people can communicate with animals and plants as they also produce DMT
Meditation is also good for your body. It puts it in a different kind of balance. And remember to take your age for minutes to days. For example, you are 33 years old. Is it meditation at 33 min.
Plant fresh herbs and plants you use in magic.
Because: first, it makes your indoor climate better. You add more oxygen. Plus you have everything at your fingertips. And that both good in food and magic.
Walk in nature.
Because: it is proven that nature has a positive impact on our soul. Walk a minimum of 30 minutes every day no matter what the weather.
Collect rainwater
Because: good for your herbs and plants. But also good for the animals that live in the nature / city that has no other options. And that way you help a show that may not have had a choice of its own.
But the best advice I can give you is. Be the witch you've always wanted to be. Do not think that you have to follow a fashion whether it is one form or another. Just be you. Go in the silly clothes. Be colors in if that's what you love or gloomy and dark. No one should tell you who you should be or how you should be .. Because only you know which way you go.
Then embrace that path. But most of all, embrace yourself and everything you are ...

Translation: German manga of “The Minish Cap”, Part 5: “The King and the People of the Wind”
...Welp. This time on my translation series, Vaati has an even more troubled past, Siroc doesn’t shut up, and a Feather makes me question reality. Tune in next time for Link cussing Ezlo out.
My translation key: DT: „direct translation" (translated word for word) EQ: “English equivalent” (as in, as close to an English-sounding sentence as it’s gonna get) DT/EQ: „"direct translation/English equivalent" (for when the DT is so similar to an EQ that it’s practically English already) OE: “official English (translation as given in the English version of “The Minish Cap”)“ (NOTE:) “anything I need to point out” (exactly what it says on the tin) BG: „backwards German” for the Minish language in forwards form BOE: “the forwards version of the Minish language in the OE version” BOET: “the TRANSLATION of the forwards version of the Minish language in the OE version”
My translation work under the cut.
5. KAPITEL: „DER KÖNIG UND DAS VOLK DES WINDES" 5TH CHAPTER: "THE KING AND THE PEOPLE OF THE WIND" CHAPTER 5: "THE KING AND THE WIND TRIBE"
DT: „I am a Sage, the among the Minish known is. And Vaati was my student." EQ: "I am a Sage, that is known among the Minish. And Vaati was my student." OE: "In the Picori World, I was a famous Sage. And Vaati was my apprentice."
DT: „He was very fascinated of the evil side (of) the humans." EQ: "He was very fascinated with the evil side of humans." OE: "But he worshiped the evil in YOUR world."
...ershaffen hatte." DT: „One day stole he the Cap, the wishes fulfilled, the I for the humans... ...created had." EQ: "One day, he stole the Cap that fulfilled wishes, that I... ...had created for the humans." OE: "Till one day he stole a very special cap I had made... ...One that grants wishes."
(CUE FLASHBACK).
Ezelo: „Vaati! Was tust du da?! Finger weg von der Mütze!!" DT: „Vaati! What do(ing) you there?! Stay away from the Cap!!" EQ: "Vaati! What are you doing there?! Stay away from the Cap!!" OE: "Vaat, what are you doing?! You mustn't touch that Cap!" (NOTE: Alternate translation could be, "Hands off of the Cap!!")
Toneffekte: „KRACK BIEG" DT/EQ: „"CRACK TURN" OE: "SNCH ZWARRK"
Toneffekte: „BUZZZZ" DT/EQ: „"BUZZZZ" OE: "FLAASH"
Ezelo: „Uaaaah!!" DT/EQ: „"Uaaah!!" OE: "Aaaargh!"
Ezelo: „Was... Was zum..." DT: „What... What to (the)..." EQ: "What... What the..." OE: "Wh... What happened?!" (NOTE: ...„Was zum Geier?", most likely...)
Vaati: „Hi hi hi. DT: „Hi hi hi. You appear good (x), Master. Even the Sage Ezelo is powerless in this shape/form." EQ: "Hi hi hi. You look good, Master. Even the Sage Ezelo is powerless in this shape/form." OE: "Heh heh heh heh! You look good, Master. Even the great Ezlo... ...can't do anything with a cap for a body!" (NOTE: „aussehen".)
Ezelo: „Was hast du getan, Vaati?!" DT/EQ: „"What have you done, Vaati?!" OE: "What have you DONE, Vaati?!"
DT: „Master... the power (of) the Cap makes me to (the) sorcerer. With the power, the everyone overwhelms." EQ: "Master... the power of the Cap makes me a sorcerer. With the power that overwhelms everyone." OE: "With this Cap, I'm not longer an apprentice... I'm a Mage! I have more power than anyone in the world!" (NOTE: *sighs at English version*)
Ezelo: „Vaati! Was hast du vor?!" DT: „Vaati! What have you before?!" EQ: "Vaati! What are you up to?!" OE: "But why? What are you after, Vaati?!" (NOTE: Idiomatic, and almost verbatim with Ezlo's in-game line, „Was hast du nur vor?!?")
Vaati: „Ich will das Force." DT/EQ: „"I want the Force." OE: "The Light Force!"
DT: „In this hundredth year opens itself the Gate... I take (for) me the Force and become almighty!" EQ: "On this hundredth year, the Gate opens itself... I'll take the Force for myself and become almighty!" OE: "I will find the Door that opens only once every century, and inside... ...I'll find the Light Force! Then I'll be omnipotent!"
Vaati: „Wiedersehen, Meister." DT/EQ: „"Good-bye, Master." OE: "Good-bye, Master." (NOTE: OKAY, THIS IS THE LINE THAT BROKE ME. On top of Vaati not actually saying "good-bye" in-game... Typically, it's „Auf Wiedersehen". Notice how Vaati drops the „auf" part... It makes it slightly less formal than the full thing- yes, but... It also implies that Vaati wasn't exactly sure if he'd ever see Ezlo again. And that hurts my soul.)
Ezelo: „Warte! Warte, Vaati!!" DT/EQ: „"Wait! Wait, Vaati!!" OE: "Wait! Vaati! Come back!"
(END FLASHBACK).
Link: „Was ist denn das Force?" DT: „What is then the Force?" EQ: "What is the Force, then?" OE: "What's the Light Force?"
DT: „You know the Minish-Legend... The Sword... is not the sole(thing), what the Minish the humans given had." EQ: "You know the Minish-Legend... The Sword... isn't the only thing that the Minish had given the humans." OE: "Remember the Picori Legend. The sacred Sword WASN'T the only gift the Picori gave the Hero."
DT: „There was still the Force with the golden shine. It bestows its owner unlimited power." EQ: "There was also the Force with the golden shine. It bestows unlimited power to its owner." OE: "They ALSO gave him a Golden Light-- the Light Force-- providing near-limitless power."
DT: „What will happen, if Vaati it now obtain/receive should...?" EQ: "What would happen if Vaati should obtain it now...?" OE: "If Vaati gets his hands on that, imagine what would happen!"
Ezelo: „Ich kam her, um Vaati aufzuhalten. DT: „I came here, in order Vaati to-stop. And so (x) you me in (the) Forest saw." EQ: "I came here in order to stop Vaati. And so, you saw me in the Forest." OE: "I'd come to the bigger world to stop Vaati... ...when I met you in the forest."
Ezelo: „Das is alles meine Schuld..." DT/EQ: „"This is all my fault..." OE: "This is all my fault!"
Ezelo: „Wir müssen Prinzessin Zelda vom Fluch befreien!" DT: „We must Princess Zelda from (the) curse free!" EQ: "We must free Princess Zelda from the curse!" OE: "We must return your Princess Zelda to normal!"
Link: „So war das also... Für dich... ...war all das nicht leicht, Ezelo." DT: „So was that so... For you... was all that not easy, Ezelo." EQ: "So that's how it was... It wasn't all that easy... For you, Ezelo." OE: "So you're not just tagging along... You want to stop Vaati too!" (NOTE: Slightly idiomatic.)
Link: „Aber du bist der große Weise... Kein Wunder, dass du so viel weißt." DT: „But you the great Sage... No wonder, that you so much know." EQ: "But you being a great Sage... No wonder you know so much." OE: "And you being a distinguished Sage... ...explains why you know so many facts!"
Ezelo: „Hee hee Von nun an darfst du mich Meister Ezelo nennen!" DT: „Hee hee From now on may you me Master Ezelo call!" EQ: "Hee hee From now on, you may call me Master Ezelo!" OE: "Correct! From now on you can call me SIR Ezlo!"
Link: „Ächem Na fein, Meister Ezelo." DT: „Ahem Well fine, Master Ezelo." EQ: "Ahem Alright, Master Ezelo." OE: "O-Okay, Sir Ezlo..."
[The English version drops the „Ächem" from Link, and replaces it with a comment from Ezlo instead... OE: "Better!"]
Ezelo: „Ja?" DT/EQ: „"Yes?" OE: "Yes?"
DT: „And where is the Force, of/to (the) Vaati seeks?" EQ: "And where is the Force that Vaati's seeking?" OE: "...Where IS the Light Force that Vaati's looking for?" (NOTE: ...„nachsuchen"?)
DT: „Initially had it the Royal-family of Hyrule. But now is it missing." EQ: "Initially, the Royal Family of Hyrule had it. But now, it's missing." OE: "When we gave it to the Hyruleans, the Royal Family had it. Where they put it, I don't know."
DT: „We must now rather of/to the four Elements seek!" EQ: "But now, we must seek the Four Elements!" OE: "More important right now is the Four Elements!"
Link: „Genau! Wir brauchen nur noch eins! Das Wind-Element!" DT: „Exactly! We need only still one! The Wind-Element!" EQ: "Exactly! We still only need one! The Wind-Element!" OE: "Right! Only one left! The Wind Element!"
DT: „Elegant, how Lexts the Map with the feather locked/sealed (has)." EQ: "Elegant how Lexts sealed the Map with the feather." OE: "How cool! Librari fastened the Map with a feather."
DT/EQ: „"He is probably very proud of the feather." OE: "He was so proud of the one he got from the cucco."
Toneffekte: „FLAPP" DT/EQ: „FLAP" OE: "FWIP"
DT: „The Wind-Element must of the People in (the) Palace (of) the Wind custody be." EQ: "The Wind-Element must be in the custody of the People of the Palace of the Wind." OE: "The Wind Element is in the Palace of Winds. So the Wind Tribe must have it." (NOTE: WHAT A MOUTH-FULL.)

Ezelo: „Kein Wunder... DT: „No wonder. The People (of) the Wind separated itself/themselves of the Earth and lives now in (the) Palace above the clouds." EQ: "No wonder. The People of the Wind separated themselves from the Earth and now live in a Palace above the clouds." OE: "It wouldn't be on a Map. The Wind Tribe left the ground long ago. They live in a Palace above the clouds."
Link: „Aha!" DT/EQ: „"Aha!" OE: "Hmmm..."
Link: „Über den Wolken... Waaaas?!" DT/EQ: „"Above the clouds... Whaaaat?!" OE: "ABOVE the clouds? Wait a minute!"
DT: „How come we then above the clouds?!" EQ: "How do we get above the clouds?!" OE: "How're WE supposed to go ABOVE the clouds?!" (NOTE: GEH IN DIE TASCHE, WÖLKCHEN.)
Ezelo: „Da oben ist das letzte Element...?" DT: „There above is the last Element...?" EQ: "There up-above is the last Element...?" OE: "That's where the final Element is."
Link: „Was mach ich bloß...?" DT: „What do I just...?" EQ: "Just what do I do...?" OE: "But... But... But..."
Fremder: „He, Junge. Is das die Karte von Hyrule?" DT/EQ: „"Hey, boy. Is that the Map of Hyrule?" OE: "Hey, boy! Is that a Map of Hyrule?" (NOTE: Long time no see, Fremder/Stranger.)
Fremder: „Weißt du, wo Gustafs Grab ist?" DT: „Know you, where Gustaf's Grave is?" EQ: "Do you know where Gustaf's Grave is?" OE: "Can you tell me where King Gustaf's grave is?"

Fremder: „Ja. Du wirst etwas glücklicher. Daher heißen sie auch Glücksfragmente." DT: „Yes. You will (be) somewhat luckier. Hence called they also Luckyfragments." EQ: "Yes. You'll become somewhat luckier. Hence, they're also called Luckyfragments." OE: "Yes! Something that makes you happy. They say the Stones are PIECES of happiness." (NOTE: In a way, this is a pun since „Glück" can mean both "luck" AND "happiness".)
Fremder: „Ich schenke dir einen Beutel davon. Möge das Glück deine Wege kreuzen..." DT: „I gift/present (to) you a bag thereof. May the luck your path cross..." EQ: "I present to you a bag of them. I got an answer: 07-10-2019
You want it? You get it. This post is probably gonna be super loooong, so be prepared. Sorry if the spacing is weird, tumblr is a bitch. Of course, german + english. FYI: I was listing to Simmer by Mahalia and Babygirl by Shindy.
Julian Brandt:
In my eyes Julian is and remains a super tender lover. Most of the time at least. I think he likes to give very much, but would also like to lean back and enjoy from time to time. For Julian, make-up sex is a big deal, because we know that sometimes he doesn't think things through before he talks about them. This, I can imagine, will certainly lead to conflict in the relationship and so it can of course simply be “clarified". But he can certainly also become a bit rougher, especially if you are cheeky and get him on his toes or if it didn't go as planned in a game. Then, of course, all positions are processed according to his wishes. Of course the sound is a bit rougher then too. At the end, of course, cuddle time.
Julian loves to cuddle, no secret. He'll probably have to force you to cuddle with him, not you him. He seems to be a very affectionate and loving lover, who also does not hesitate to demand attention openly.
Julian doesn't like to share. I do think he's a jealous guy. He's probably one to hide it and pretend it's nothing. Logically, however, his bad mood and dismissive nature speak volumes. As long as he knows your buddy you're hanging out with, and he can tell for sure for himself that there are no romantic feelings in play, it's likely to be okay. But if it’s about some strange guy from your circle of friends, of whom he may have never heard anything before, something like that will certainly cause him some headaches, because of course you are a part of his family and that should remain like that.
Romanticism won't be Julian's number one priority. I don't think you can expect him to say words that will set your heart racing. He'll be able to plan a romantic evening, but that’s probably it. With him I always get the feeling that he doesn't take many things very seriously and rather smiles about romantic actions, like a 12-year-old.
You will be spoiled with a lot of cuddle time. He will also pay attention the fact that you often see each other, he’s quite often on the road and has appointments, so you can't take it for granted either. Julian will also love to take you out to dinner and not only at McDonald's. Otherwise there are of course here and there some earrings, shoes or handbags.
Vorlieben, ganz allgemein. Preferences, in general. Julian Brandt is for me the epitome of a feedbackfucker. He likes to hear how good he is in bed. One of his other preferences is sleeping. I am very convinced that he likes to sleep and, if possible, sleep for a long time. Otherwise, he likes listening to music and playing playstation very much and intensively. Special Preference: Likes to shop for ugly rags and calls them clothes.
Stöhnen? Zwei Wörter. Moan Compilation. Safe ist er lauter als du. Moaner? Two Words. Moan Compilation. He’s probably louder than you.
The first “I love you” comes unexpected, by chance and from Julian. Probably you were allowed to play Fortnite with him and surprise him with your skills and then it just slips out. Completely overwhelmed.
Niklas Stark:
Niklas. Er weiß was er will und was ihm gefällt. Liebe Grüße an deinen Hinten. Niklas. The little puppy Niklas. I think we underestimate Niklas enormously. He always seems so cute, innocent and sometimes a little clumsy. In bed, I can imagine, there is nothing left of the cute puppy. He knows what he wants and what he likes. I still want to believe that sometimes he's too shy to tell you when he wants to try something more special. You often set the tone in bed and he, pleasurably, follows. The whole thing can of course turn itself around. Is he having a bad day and you're pissing him off with petty things? Greetings to your butt.
Puppies like to cuddle, so does Niklas. I'm sure he's also a very affectionate guy, at least in his private life. If he could, he'd spend all day with you on the couch or in bed. I imagine cuddling also alone by his size and strength so pleasant, if you then fall asleep on the couch, he will carry you to bed.
I also believe that Niklas can be quite jealous, but shows it openly. He will talk about it if a relationship you have with a buddy doesn't suit him, or is too close in his opinion. We have already noticed that Niklas will worship you like a queen and of course does not want to lose you. That's why he's probably not so happy when you chill with other guys and he's not there.
Niklas has a romantic streak. He knows you well enough and knows how to wrap you around his finger. He certainly does a full program with suit, music and rose petals every now and then, for example if you had a bad day or he was away and you couldn't see each other.
The Stark house spoils you with many gifts. Every few days there's something fancy to wear or an expensive handbag because he probably thinks he can only hold you that way. I'm sure he's a flower fan too, and he'll be happy to give you some. When the relationship is a little older, you might even get a puppy as a present.
Like I said, Niklas knows what he likes and what he wants. I think he is rather the giver in bed and therefore likes to take the oral exam with you. He probably plays playstation a lot too, especially when you don't have time for him, or he listens to music. Special preference: Buy hair care products and never use them.
I am pretty sure that Niklas can also be loud in bed, but rather leave it to you. He spends most of his time between your legs, he doesn't need to be loud there.
Niklas would like to say “I love you" after a few days, but knows that it is probably a little too much. I think you'll say it first, and he'll say it right afterwards because he's been waiting so long, but didn't want to say it before so as not to overstrain you.
Roman is and will always be a daddy to me who likes it a little harder. In order to tickle out the really hard Roman you have to strain his nerves a lot, which has to be done every now and then. With Roman it's probably even fun to discuss, because you just know what will happen later on. Roman, of course, almost always sets the tone. There are exceptions too, maybe when he didn't have such a good day and lets you take control. Just sit back and let him be pampered by you after a hard workout. What more can daddy roman want?
I think with Roman you can also cuddle well, even if he may not always want to and you might have to force him sometimes. But if you lie with him on the couch or in bed, and he closes his strong arms around you, things are already over. Whether you had to annoy him before or he came crawling all by himself, it’s all forgotten already.
On the one hand, I think Roman is jealousy in person and simply kills every male being in your circle with his gaze. On the other hand, he probably doesn't care at all what you do with your buddies because he's just so complacent and knows what you have with him. There are definitely limits to Roman, but he clarifies them directly with your buddy.
Somehow, I don't consider Romantic to be a romantic. Here a few flowers, there a nice evening, but that’s it. You are responsible for the romance in the Bürki house. But with a little persuasion, he will lie down in the bathtub full of rose petals with you.
Does he really have to spoil you? You can call Roman fucking Bürki yours. Nevertheless, he reliably sponsors everything you wish for and you don't even have to say anything. Jewelry, shoes and if you were very well-behaved there might be a Benz waiting at the front door. He can also spoil you very well with his hands, of course. Be nice to Daddy Roman, then you'll get a massage.
Preferences technically, Roman doesn't say “Absolutely not!" to anything in bed. He'd like to do you just like he wants to. Roman also likes to play playstation and listens to music. Special Preference: Getting Tattoos that could have been stung by me.
Roman is probably a quiet guy in bed who doesn't give so much of himself. He'd rather listen to you and grins so smugly.
I think the first “I love you" comes from you. He, as the older one in the relationship, takes his time and shows it to you rather by actions that he likes to have you with him. Sometime, after a few months, he probably can't stand it anymore and confesses his love in a quiet moment.

Welcome the 2021 (7th) Cate Blanchett Birthday Project!
Every year, for the past 7 years I’m trying to collaborate Cate Blanchett fans together in order to make something special for her birthday. And I am super excited to say that we have made 6 successful birthday projects together which has ALL arrived to Cate.
Cate Blanchett has influenced me and many more people through the years and this project is my way to say: Thank You. This year the project will surround CELEBRATING OURSELVES.
Cate is a huge inspiration for all of us. She believes in celebrating ourselves as WHO WE ARE. If it’s as a woman, as a man, as a queer, as whoever we want to be, and this project is about that. It’s about being ourselves and celebrating us as who we are, because that’s where our true power lies.
This year we will create a fan cover for the ultimate Cate song “You Don’t Own Me” This is how it will work:
The amazing Maya has created an amazing piano cover for us. It is right here.
I want you to listen to the cover and sing the song! If you’re not sure, you can listen to Erich’s great intro here.
Then videotape yourself covering the song. You can create two different videos of Audio & a video OR make it in one. It doesn’t really matter
The most important thing here is that the Audio needs to be AS CLEAN AS POSSIBLE. Meaning: I want to hear your singing voice only! The playback will be in your headphones but not for me to hear it.
If you are a dancer or a performer this section is to you: You can dance/ perform to the piano cover and I will add that to our clip.
Some things to get out of the way:
I’m not singer and I’m not expecting you to be ones. It’s just you making something fun for Cate! :)
The song is not very difficult, so if there are certain parts you feel you are better at, feel free to sing only them. Anyways, I promise I’ll edit it the way we will hear your BEST parts
This is also the first time I’m doing something like that, so be supportive and have fun!
How does it work?
Send an email with your Name, Age & Country
Mention in the email if you joined any of the past projects and if yes mention the year
Send your Audio & video as one / two files
Make sure we hear only your singing voice in the recording (and not the piano cover. A great way to do that is to put headphones on and listen to the piano over there)
Rules:
Keep an appropriate language
Letting you know the project will be released ONLINE
Deadline
All projects should arrive until APRIL 15TH, 2021. Send them all to the following address: [email protected] (the same one from past years) If you have any questions you can ask me here on the ask box / twitter / email .
Taking part in the project this year + special thanks: Cate Blanchett Daily, Queen Cate, Cate Blanchett Fan, Erich, Abbey and Maya.

The placement test
When my train reached Ødense, I thought the Danish voice on the loud speaker instructed those continuing on their journey to move to the front cars of the train, but I understood him even less when he repeated himself in English. I still had an hour more to go before I reached the Vejen station. I asked some young women. They thought I needed to get out on the platform and enter the front cars from outside, but they weren’t sure. I was afraid to leave on a ‘maybe,’ so I asked a porter. He gruffly told me to get off the train and pointed out the open doors and vaguely towards the front. Was I supposed to go there? I followed his instructions, but the cars in front weren’t even connected to the rest of the train. Wasn’t it supposed to be the same train? I wasn’t sure if they were the right ones, but with no other options I shoved my bags and myself through at least fifteen people and into the car. There were no empty seats. I squeezed passed people and stepped over huge bags in the aisles, looking for any indication that I was were I needed to be.
I was surprised when I heard someone call my name from behind. Who did I know in Ødense? I had only been to the city three times my entire life. I turned around on saw Roody, one of the students at the højskole from last year. “Oh good, I’m in the right place,” and he assured me I was. We immediately began talking in English to catch up, but I promise you, as soon as we stepped off the bus, it was all Danish.
Fifteen other højskole students waited with us at the station, but there were only eight seats in the van that came to pick us up. Roody and I offered to walk the three kilometers to the school, if the bus could take our heavy bags. A young woman named Bridget decided to join us. The three of us began to exchange getting-to-know you questions in Danish on our walk, and I held my own. Even back at back the school, three of the teachers commented on how much my Danish had improved. I understood so much more than last year.
On our walk Bridget and I became pals. She’s from the UK, but lives in France. She picked up Danish for fun as a teenager—just taught herself for kicks—also studies Lithuanian. There’s another language I’m forgetting that she’s fluent in—beyond those five languages, she has a handful of others that she can “order a train ticket or ask for directions in.” Watched her flip between English, Danish, Lithuanian, French, then back to English depending on the native language of the person she’s talking to. Oh, and she’s only twenty-two years old.
Maria, a young woman born in Poland, but spent most of her life in England, quickly befriended Bridget and I. Maria has been studying Danish for less than a year and she struggled to catch what was being said. “Don’t worry,” I told her, “I was in the same boat last year. I never really knew what happening.” She was stressing about the placement test. “If you’re in the beginning class, then that’s where you’ll need to be.” She was fine with that. I explained a few things that were happening for her, just as people did for me last year.
Maria wasn’t placed in the first group, like we had expected, or the second group, which I had been. She was placed in the third group. “I only understood little of what was said in class,” she told me, “but I asked around, and it seemed the rest of the class understood the same.” She knew more than even she realized. I expected to take her under my wing, but I don’t think she really needs it. It’s funny how intimidating conversation can be and suddenly you forget that you actually know. It did not surprise anyone that they placed Bridget in the fourth group. A couple of students from last year were disappointed that they didn’t make it to that group, but apparently, this year’s advanced group is at an even higher level than they were last year.
I love it, because I can just listen to them talk. For whatever reason, I find the advanced students much easier to understand than native speakers, maybe they talk slower or maybe they don’t mumble as much. At any rate, they’re a good stepping stone for me.
I’m happy with the group I’m in. I have Henning as my teacher, and I just adore the man. I feel on par with my classmates. It’s a lot of work learning a foreign language. I shouldn’t expect more from my two years of study. I think last year I was disappointed I had less access to my knowledge, while this year I think I’m more realistic in my expectations of myself.
I do look at my fellow students that have five or six languages under their belt with a little awe. I wish I would have applied myself more in high school French. I wish I would have learned more Spanish in my ten years at Rosti. I can see that reading and writing in other languages improves storytelling, heightens empathy, and broadens your options to a global level. I am determined to see my Danish studies through though. Maybe I’ll pick up French or Spanish in a year or two. The people I meet here are so smart and accomplished. Just as it did last year, they inspire me to work for more.
This evening we wrote down some fears we had about starting this program, and I’ll share them with you here. I’m not going to translate, but if you’re really curious, google translate should give you a rough idea. It’s one of constant echo, a fear seems to recycle itself over and over in other areas of my life. I’ve been giving it some thought, and I think I need to use this trip to figure out a way to let that fear go.

//
On friday I've been meeting up with a friend and it was really relaxing. We were able to talk a lot and also went to eat Burgers after chatting! On Saturday I've been to a friend's party and - fitting to the international women's day - we've literally been celebrating in the name of the woman. On Monday I met up with a friend who has been visiting Montreal for a few days. We explored the city and looked at awesome street art. Besides that did we go to the Place-des-Arts, a place where you can find a theater and a concert hall. There a photo documentary called was featured. The documentary is called "Papas / Swedish Dads" by Johan Bävman. Two funny coincidences happened to me at the exhibition: The first thing was that I realized that I've seen exactly this exhibition 3 years ago in Sweden. The second thing was that I started talking with a stranger about the exhibition when in the end he revealed that he was Johan Bävman, the actual photographer of the exhibition. That was a really cool experience! Johan then told us, that he is mainly in Montréal because of his exhibition of course but also because he would participate in a discussion on Tuesday. He invited us to the event and I went there the next day!
The event itself was a discussion about maternity leave and the fact that the number of men who take a long time paternity leave is still really small. The discussion was really interesting to follow with many different impressions. It gave me I sights on a topic that haven't affected me or my life yet but as I said, it was still super interesting and should be discussed more often.
