Let's Analyze Chip Skylar's Song: "Chely Audi, the Magic Girl"
Theme and Storyline:
The song seems to be inspired by the classic "chosen one" trope, often seen in fantasy and science fiction narratives. Chely Audi is portrayed as a special individual destined to play a crucial role in protecting the universe. Her journey involves joining the Crystal Gems, a group of powerful beings, and facing various challenges and tests.
Character Development:
Chely is depicted as courageous, bold, and possessing extraordinary powers. Her human origin adds a relatable element to her character, making her a more grounded protagonist. The song emphasizes her ability to overcome obstacles and inspire others with her spirit of rebellion.
Musical Style and Composition:
The song's overall tone is upbeat and energetic, reflecting the adventurous nature of Chely's story. The use of a chorus helps to reinforce the main theme and make the song memorable. The bridge section provides a more reflective moment, highlighting Chely's inner strength and determination.
Potential for Expansion:
The song offers a solid foundation for a more extensive story. It could be adapted into a musical, a TV series, or a film, allowing for further exploration of Chely's character, the Crystal Gems, and the universe they inhabit. The inclusion of the Hex Girls adds an interesting dimension to the narrative, suggesting potential alliances or conflicts.
Overall Impression:
Chip Skylar's song presents a compelling and imaginative tale of a young woman destined for greatness. The catchy melody and inspiring lyrics make it a potentially popular piece. If the story were to be expanded upon, it could become a beloved franchise, captivating audiences with its blend of adventure, fantasy, and empowerment.

if you’re hearing ALIEN BLUES by VUNDABAR playing, you have to know BRINLEY REED  (THEY/SHE; GENDER FLUID) is near by! the TWENTY FOUR year old BARTENDER has been in denver for, like, NINE YEARS. they’re known to be quite CYNICAL, but being WITTY seems to balance that out. or maybe it’s the fact that they resemble LIZETH SELENE. personally, i’d love to know more about them seeing as how they’ve got those CHAIN SMOKING ON A RAINY NIGHT, A FLICKERING NEON SIGN, HOLES IN EVERYTHING YOU OWN BUT ON PURPOSE vibes. and maybe i’ll get my chance if i hang out around the MONTEBELLO DISTRICT long enough!
DEATH TW
THE BASICS:
full name: brinley sofia reed
birthdate, zodiac sign: november 17th / sagittarius
sexuality: lesbian
occupation: bartender at ambrosia lounge
THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS:
brinley’s father wasn’t around as much as they would’ve liked, but never in a deadbeat father sort of way. their father was a brave man who was fighting for their country, something that they had always admired and looked up to. he was around for a handful of christmases and birthdays, but their relationship with their father mainly revolved around phone calls and the occasional video call with dodgy quality that always left her wishing that she could see him in person. she rarely felt a sense of resentment towards him that he was never around, that’s how their dynamic had been as long as she could remember.
knowing their father was (hopefully) always going to come back to brinley was something that they had grown accustomed to. what they never really got the hang of was leaving the people they had grown close to over the years of traveling around with their father. leaving the first few times were hard but overtime, they had started to just get used to it. that’s how their life was, she wasn’t meant to get closer to people, a wanderer at heart. they kept their distance, at every new place that she had gone to, making sure that no one ever got too close. she was traveling the country, wasn’t that a cool perk to it all? they tried to view it as such, it was a good thing and not something that was holding them back from building sustainable relationships with people their own age.
after years of staying in one town for no more than a year, brinley was in for a surprise when she and her mother had gotten to denver. to them, it was just another destination they weren’t going to stay in for too long. their father was stationed at fort carson, about an hour away, and they did their usual thing like she did in every place. they never really spoke to anyone, mostly keeping to themselves. they said very few things about themselves during the mandatory introductions that every teacher has ever made her do, and she figured that was going to be it.
but then months went by, and they were still in denver - the last place they expected to still be in. not only were they still there, but she was actually making friends. sure, they had made acquaintances in other places, but she never really let them get any closer than that. but this place was different, she couldn’t help but want to be friends with the people that surrounded her. they seemed to be so welcoming and they wanted them around, which in turn made her want to be there. it was crazy that they were getting themselves caught up in it all.
from there, months quickly turned into a year without being moved. they didn’t even realize the time passage, they were having such a great time actually being able to connect with people. they were discovering things about themselves that they never even thought about before. she soon began to realize those feelings she should be having for boys, she was having for the girls around her instead. it was a strange thing to come to terms with, but they were working their way up to telling their parents about it all.
however, as soon as they got the courage to even think about doing it, their father was being deployed but this one felt different, and they couldn’t quite figure out why. brinley got their time to say goodbye to her father, hoping that it wasn’t going to be the last time she saw him. things were going so good, she couldn’t have jinxed herself out of it already.  he might have been halfway across the world, but they could still see each other, through the godsend that was skype and things would be just as they usually were. he always came back from deployments.
they talked a lot for the first few months, making plans for brinley’s upcoming birthday because he told them he was going to try his best to make his way back to her for it. they knew it wasn’t very likely, but it was really the thought that counted. of course, as it gotten closer, it was confirmed that he in fact wasn’t going to be able to make it back home which she understood, they always understood. but that brought an opportunity to finally come out to their father, something that she had been anxiously awaiting to do. it seemed like the perfect time, they were somehow closer than ever and she was sure he would be okay with it.
rhey stayed up until midnight, since the time difference would have made that a time where it would work for their father and still technically be their birthday where they were. there was a nervous excitement building up inside brinley, putting on a birthday hat that her father had sent her through the mail. it was tacky, of course. he ordered it online and got it sent to them but she loved it. an hour passed and there was no call, which was strange but they just figured he had gotten caught up, that happens sometimes. but then her mom was calling her out to the dining room which was weird, maybe there was a birthday cake - maybe he was there. like a viral video of soldiers returning home. brinley wouldn’t be that lucky though.
once they got into the kitchen, there was a somber look etched onto their mom’s facial features which wasn’t quite the type of tone that she expected on her daughter’s birthday. what came next felt made everything feel like it was going in slow motion, with the static noise you’d hear from a tv surrounding them. ‘i’m so sorry honey… but your father didn’t make it.’ those words played over and over again on repeat, like a song she couldn’t get out of her head. ‘your father didn’t make it’ this felt like a nightmare, it had to be a nightmare right? it was their birthday, surely there was no way this was real. their dad was going to be calling her anytime now. she had rushed back into her bedroom, turning on her laptop frantically and opening up skype, hoping that she had missed a call from her dad. but the only thing the screen read was: LAST CALL: 2 WEEKS AGO.
nothing was the same after that, they began to distance themself from those very same people that she had gotten so close to. she never celebrated her birthday (in fact, has never celebrated any of her birthdays since) they weren’t the right day for her anymore, they didn’t bring the happiness they once did. they were a stark reminder of one of the worst days of her life. however, one of the great things about making friends was that those very same friends were going to be there for you in exact times like this. it took some time, but with the help of her friends, they were able to get past what happened.
then it was time for graduation and she was given a choice: to run far away from denver and start a new life, or to stay with some of the people that they had gotten close too. of course, they would never actually admit that she stayed for the people she’d grown close to, but she chose to stay. despite her constantly leaving cities with her parents, with her father’s constantly changing schedules she was able to have stability and what more could she ask for?
so brinley got a job, a few jobs actually until she landed on one she truly liked: bartender. sure, most wouldn’t think of the gentlemen’s club as their dream job but brinley loved it, maybe because of the people that came through. though, they never really wanted to dig too deep into why that was. but even as the years go by, there’s still scars left over from the death of her father and the constant bouncing between city to city. as well adjusted as brinley liked to claim to be, they knew deep down they would never be well adjusted. not in the slightest.
POSSIBLE CONNECTIONS:
the one that got away - the one person that brinley finally opened herself up to in high school & then they moved away, reinforcing the idea that eventually , everyone does leave.
hookups , because that’s all brinley can really handle
a best friend she’s kept from high school, one of the first people she met upon coming to denver and helps her learn every day that the world isn’t all doom & gloom like she’s convinced it is
people who can party with them bc they are a partier by nature

✩ . — The surface had been opened to them once more, and that place had quickly become Hook's favourite destination for fresh adventure. It was a vast place compared to the Underground, where the large "ceiling" of blue never seemed to end and the towering buildings that framed the open streets. The little girl ventured around excitedly, turning corners and corners without looking back.
Honeyed eyes scanned around as she slipped through a special-looking gate, but little did she know— Hook was in the heart of the Silvermane's restricted zone. Hiding from some of the guards that walked past, the girl was light on her feet and sneaky to boot, a skill she picked up from those secret expeditions to Rivet Town.
Everything she had seen so far was interesting. The way the guards patroled the area dutifully, their armors shining and silvery whilst they braved the cold. It reminded her of the people from Wildfire, always standing strong and unyielding— for the sake of their people and Belobog. The Overworld and Underworld were not that different after all, she would think to herself.
Yet, one figure stood out to her the most, a silhouette limping and bent over. He was injured, she observed from the sidelines— possibly from the fragmentum monsters that they had been holding off. The man looked like a brave knight, with azure eyes that looked just like the sky.
Hook emerged from behind a wall, walking up to him slowly before asking, ❝ Mister... are you okay? ❞

❛ I’m fine. there’s nothing for you to worry about. ❜
Surely, the more important question for him was " how did she get in here? " but that was not the point at this moment!
The rest of the wounds had been treated accordingly, judging from the bandages upon some areas but...there was a little scratch on his face that seemed to have been left unattended. Taking note of this. the little girl's gaze shifted towards her pocket as she stufffed her hand in.
Hook eventually pulled out a cute band-aid, one that was filled with shapes of black cats. It was something she brought with her, in case of any accidents. Hook motioned for him to bend down, and when he complied— she stuck the little plaster onto the cut, with great precision and caution.
❝ There we go... ❞ A tiny smile graced upon her expression as she nodded proudly at her handiwork, ❝ well, if you need more help— Hook can bring you to the Old Witch! She's good at taking care of people. ❞

I Don’t Want To Be A Hero, So Leave Me Alone
➥ summary: Like any reincarnation fanfiction this story has to do with a women from the real world dying and getting reincarnated into a anime with some massive op powers. Throughout most of this story you are nothing but a 8 month year old which transforms later on into a child, well if we make it that far that is.
➥ chapter 11: Embracing Destiny
Tumblr media
Within the quiet confines of their home, Tomura, now a child with a troubled past, grappled with newfound revelations about his sister, (Y/N). The realization that she possessed the incredible quirk of omni-manipulation stirred conflicting emotions within him. He found himself questioning his own role, doubting his worthiness to be a hero.
Sitting on the edge of his bed, his mind a whirlwind of thoughts, Tomura pondered the implications of his sister's extraordinary ability. He believed that she was destined for greatness, that her power surpassed his own. In the depths of his heart, he believed she was more deserving of the hero's mantle.
Lost in his contemplation, Tomura was startled by a knock on his door. It swung open, revealing the concerned faces of his newfound parents, who had come to check on him. Their love and support were unwavering, even in the face of his doubts and insecurities.
His mother, gentle and compassionate, knelt before him, her voice filled with reassurance. "Tomura, my dear, we understand the weight of your burden. But you must know that you, too, are destined for greatness. Being (Y/N)'s older brother makes you a hero in your own right."
His father, firm yet kind, joined the conversation, his voice carrying wisdom and conviction. "Your role as her protector is crucial, Tomura. You possess a strength within you that goes beyond your quirk. It is your love, your determination, and your unwavering loyalty to your sister that will shape you into the hero you were meant to be."
Tomura gazed into their eyes, his heart yearning for acceptance and understanding. Their words resonated within him, casting a flicker of hope upon the doubts that had consumed him. He realized that the true measure of a hero was not solely based on power or ability, but rather the selflessness and courage to protect those they care about.
The weight of his parents' words settled upon him, filling him with a newfound sense of purpose. As the realization dawned upon him, a spark ignited within his heart. Perhaps being a hero was not limited to the confines of conventional expectations. Maybe, just maybe, he could carve his own path and redefine what it meant to be a hero.
With this newfound clarity, Tomura rose from his seat, determination etched upon his features. "Thank you, Mom, Dad," he said, his voice steady with resolve. "I understand now. I may not possess the same abilities as (Y/N), but I have my own strength, my own way of protecting her and others."
His parents' smiles filled the room, radiating pride and love. "That's our brave boy," his mother said, her voice filled with affection. "You have the heart of a hero, Tomura. Embrace it, and never doubt your worth."
In that moment, Tomura felt a surge of purpose course through him. He realized that being a hero meant more than just possessing a powerful quirk. It meant standing up for what was right, protecting those in need, and cherishing the bonds of family.
As he contemplated his newfound understanding, Tomura's gaze shifted to his sister's room. Determination burned brightly within him as he made a silent promise to protect her, to be the hero she deserved when their parents could not.
From that day forward, Tomura's journey took on a new meaning. He would grow to understand that heroism was not confined to labels or predetermined paths. It was a choice—a choice to embrace one's destiny, to protect and uplift others, and to forge a future filled with hope.
With a newfound sense of purpose, Tomura took the first step on his path to becoming the hero he was destined to be. Alongside his extraordinary sister, he would navigate the trials and tribulations of a world in need of heroes, relying not just on their unique abilities, but on the unbreakable bond of siblinghood.
As they stood united, their parents' love and guidance echoing in their hearts, Tomura and (Y/N) embarked on a journey of self-discovery, resilience, and unwavering heroism. Together, they would overcome the odds, redefine what it meant to be heroes, and leave an indelible mark on the world they vowed to protect.

Under the spell
You can support me and read new stories earlier on Boosty!
Once upon a time, in a distant kingdom, there lived a knight and a witch. The knight was a brave and honorable warrior, who served her kingdom faithfully and defended its borders with her sword. The witch was a mysterious figure, feared and respected by the people of the kingdom, for her great magical powers.
The knight and the witch had never met before, but they were destined to cross paths. One day, the knight was out on her quest, when she stumbled upon a strange and powerful creature. The creature attacked, and the knight fought bravely, but she was no match for the creature and was gravely injured.
It was then that the witch came to the knight's rescue. She used her magical powers to heal the knight's wounds and bring her back to health, and then she brought her to her home. Though the knight was grateful to the witch for saving her life, she was wary of the witch, for she had heard many rumors and stories about witches and their dark powers. Even so, the knight was beginning to understand that maybe these stories were not entirely accurate.
Despite their initial distrust of each other, the knight and the witch soon became friends. The knight was intrigued by the witch's magical powers, and the witch was fascinated by the knight's strength and courage. As they talked, they began to learn more about each other, and they soon realized that they had more in common than they'd thought.
The knight was amazed by the witch's magical abilities and she found herself drawn to the witch's wisdom and courage. The witch, on the other hand, was captivated by the knight's strength and determination. She admired the knight's loyalty to her kingdom and felt a strong connection to her.
Slowly, the knight and the witch's friendship began to grow into something more. No longer enemies, they were now lovers. Together, they explored the kingdom and shared many adventures. They went on daring expeditions, fought bravely against evil forces, and enjoyed the company of one another.
The knight and the witch were happy together, and their story became a legend. They had overcome prejudice and found love in the most unexpected of places. People of the kingdom spoke of them with admiration and hope, for they had shown that love could conquer even the greatest of obstacles.

Today is my mom’s birthday and I’d like to post a monologue poem in tribute of her.
I love her so much and she literally is my love, light and life source. She is still alive and I am grateful for it every single day. If you don’t resonate with my experience, it is totally okay and I believe you can surely give all those love towards yourselves as well.
Now, for me is, since I feel this immense affection towards my mother which comes with unbearable fear and anxiety, I have to battle with those feelings and emotions almost every single day, more so when I’m sober. I am obv trying my best to navigate through them, of course, but in a world full of uncertainty, the only thing I’m sure is that I will forever be in a great fear towards my parting with my mother.

“Echoes of Love: A Tribute to My Mother”
In twilight's gentle sway, I stand alone,
Far from the haven that my heart calls home.
As a young daughter exploring distant shores,
My soul whispers tales, secrets to adore.
I love my mother, her spirit so pure,
She cradled our dreams, with courage secure.
Yet within me stirs a different desire,
To walk a path that sets my soul on fire.
Traditions, expectations, a weight unknown,
A maze of customs I must now disown.
For I am not destined to follow her trace,
To wed, bear children, and life's commonplace.
Still, I hold dear, Mother's love so sincere,
Her compassion and warmth, eternally clear.
Deep in my heart, a yearning takes flight,
To fulfill her dreams, bathed in a different light.
I strive to be the embodiment of her dreams,
To embrace the freedom that life so gleams.
To conquer the world with my own melody,
While honoring the roots that anchor me.
With each gentle stroke, my truth takes its place,
A monologue poem, celebrating her grace.
For she birthed a daughter, bold and brave,
Soaring to conquer, to heal, to save.
On this special day, her birth, her delight,
I offer my soul, a gift pure and bright.
For in my journey, far from her sight,
I am becoming the star she wished to ignite.
Through distance and time, our bond holds strong,
Love's echoes, a sweet and enduring song.
As I chase my dreams, with wings unfurled,
I honor her legacy, this precious gift of our world.
So, as the moon dances in the ebony sky,
I send my love, a heartfelt lullaby.
To the woman who birthed me, nurturing and true,
Happy birthday, dear MayMay, I celebrate you.

Thanks for reading this thread and as usual, stay hydrated, eat lots and hang in there.
Hugs,
Yours dearest

The Cave Girl
In ancient times, when nature reigned supreme and cities had yet to rise, people lived in small villages surrounded by forests and mountains. In one such village lived a girl named Maya, courageous and curious, yet different from the rest of her people.
Maya always felt that something extraordinary awaited her beyond the borders of her village. She loved exploring the surrounding forest and roaming the nearby rocky mountains. One night, as she gazed at the stars, she heard a mysterious call, a voice like the whispers of the wind, summoning her to the "Cave of the Ancestors," a place no one dared to enter because of the terrifying legends surrounding it.
The next morning, Maya mustered her courage and told her mother about the cave. Her mother tried to stop her, saying, "That place is filled with ancient spirits who show no mercy!" But Maya was determined. She packed a small bag with some food and a candle and set off for the cave alone.
When she arrived at the cave’s entrance, Maya felt a shiver run through her. The entrance was dark and cold, yet it seemed to welcome her in a strange way. She lit the candle and entered cautiously. The walls were covered with ancient carvings depicting stories of wars, legends, and mysterious figures.
Deep within the cave, she found a small shimmering water pool that reflected the candlelight in a magical way. As she approached the pool, she saw a strange reflection. It wasn’t just her face but the face of a woman who resembled her, dressed in attire from a bygone era.
Suddenly, a radiant woman emerged from the pool, glowing faintly with an ethereal light. She spoke to Maya in a calm voice: "Welcome, Maya. You were always destined to find this place. You are a descendant of the Protectors of Nature, who disappeared long ago." "Who are you? And why am I here?" Maya asked fearfully. "I am the spirit of your ancestors. This cave holds a power the world needs to maintain nature’s balance. But this power requires a new guardian."
The spirit explained to Maya that the cave contained immense power, but it would only be granted to her if she proved her bravery and wisdom. Suddenly, the walls shifted, and Maya found herself in a labyrinth filled with challenges.
Maya faced many obstacles: an icy river, moving trees, and voices trying to convince her to turn back. But each time, she listened to her heart and remembered the spirit’s words, finding solutions to each challenge.
After passing the test, Maya returned to the pool, where the spirit gifted her a necklace made of a strange glowing stone. "This necklace is a symbol of your responsibility. You are now the Guardian of Nature. You will protect this world from greed and destruction."
Maya returned to her village with a newfound purpose and great confidence. She didn’t share the details of what had happened but became a figure of influence, helping her village live in harmony with nature.
Over the years, Maya’s story was passed down from generation to generation, becoming a legend about a brave girl who entered the Cave of the Ancestors and emerged with wisdom and power, symbolizing hope and the balance between humanity and nature.
Thus, "The Cave Girl" became an unforgettable part of human history.

Sailor Moon
Tumblr media
The story revolves around Usagi Tsukino, a teenage girl who discovers that she is Sailor Moon, a magical warrior destined to save the Earth from various threats. Alongside her are other Sailor Senshi (Sailor Scouts), each named after planets in the Solar System, who join her in her quest.
With its representation of "girl power," "Sailor Moon" is a classic anime that highlights female empowerment via the experiences of its main characters. Among the main characters in the series are Usagi Tsukino (Sailor Moon) and her fellow Sailor Guardians, who collectively defy gender norms by embodying power, independence, and leadership. This transformation shows that women are capable of exhibiting courage, strength, and leadership. With her distinct skills and personality, every Sailor Scout defies preconceived notions of what it is to be a strong woman and represents a range of possibilities. This image both reflects and advances the current discourse in Japan regarding gender equality and women's empowerment.
Usagi Tsukino begins as a typical, a little awkward girl but develops into a strong leader who is well-liked and has a lot of influence. Her story shows that every girl has the capacity to achieve greatness, despite early self-doubt or social expectations. In "The Return of Sailor Moon," for instance, Usagi bravely and resolutely fights powerful opponents, demonstrating her transformation from a timid adolescent into a self-assured leader.
The series also reimagines traditional roles for women, with its heroines portrayed as the world's protectors rather than as defenseless characters. They confront strong opponents and take charge of their fate. As Sailor Moon and her comrades valiantly and jointly battle the Dark Kingdom and other bad villains, this empowerment is made abundantly evident. Through these portrayals, "Sailor Moon" sends a powerful message about the resilience and strength of women while celebrating "girl power" in a way that appeals to audiences worldwide.

In the shadowed halls of the Recruit Training Command at Great Lakes, Illinois, where naval cadets are forged into soldiers of the sea, a legendary tale whispers through the barracks, told in hushed tones by wide-eyed recruits.
The story begins in an era not our own, in the depths of a future where space travel is as common as sailing the seas once was. Among the stars, humanity encountered not just wonders, but creatures of ancient power and mythic resonance, beings who shaped the fabric of reality with mere thoughts. They were known simply as the Heart Regents.
At the center of this tale is Lady Corvina, a Heart Regent depicted in an age-old portrait found in the attic of the training command’s oldest building. With skin as pale as the moons of Jupiter and eyes that held the cold fire of nebulas, her appearance was both enchanting and eerie. Her gown, woven from the darkness of voids and adorned with vibrant hearts, was said to pulse with the lifeblood of the universe itself.
Recruits spoke of the portrait as if Lady Corvina watched over them, her gaze following their every move. The more superstitious believed she could influence their fates, blessing those who showed bravery and determination with fortunes untold.
The twist in the tale came when a recruit named Elias, known for his skepticism and razor-sharp intellect, challenged the myth of Lady Corvina. On a dare, he stayed one night in the attic, intending to prove her nothing more than pigment and fantasy.
As the hours passed, the boundary between time and space seemed to blur. The hearts on Lady Corvina’s dress began to glow, pulsating in rhythm with Elias's own heart. The air thickened, and whispers filled the room, speaking in languages lost to time. Elias, frozen by awe rather than fear, watched as Lady Corvina stepped out of the frame, her form solid yet shimmering like a star cloaked in night.
“You doubt yet you seek knowledge, a trait I admire,” she spoke, her voice the song of galaxies colliding.
“What are you?” Elias managed to ask, his voice steady despite the surreal encounter.
“I am a guardian of potential, a keeper of hearts brave enough to endure the trials of existence,” she replied, moving closer. Her eyes peered into his soul, reading his life’s potential as easily as one reads a book.
“I offer you a pact,” Lady Corvina proposed, “Serve the universe with honor and courage, and I shall empower you with wisdom beyond your years and foresight beyond your peers.”
Elias, understanding the weight of her words, agreed. From that night onward, his strategies and insights during training were unmatched. He graduated at the top of his class, destined for a career that would see him rise through the ranks to command his own space vessel, exploring distant worlds and guarding humanity's frontier among the stars.
Lady Corvina’s portrait remained in the attic, a sentinel not just of the past, but of the future, watching over the recruits with her enigmatic, knowing smile, a reminder of the universe's mysteries and the power of the human heart to meet them.

Tumblr media
Of course Zelda wouldn’t crave power--she was born into it. Not only is she the heir to a prosperous kingdom, there’s magic in her very bloodline. Power is a fact of her life. But she’s young, inexperienced; she cannot effectively wield that power. She has the means and the initiative to try and stop Ganondorf’s plan in its infancy, even if it ends up backfiring horribly. She has to learn from her mistakes. It certainly takes courage to persevere after a monumental fuck up, and there is bravery in casting aside the trappings of privilege--the only existence she knew--in the belief that she could do more good by getting her hands dirty. And, dark as it is, no one with a faint heart can ask so much of a stranger and fellow child, placing the weight of the world on his shoulders. She even admits in the end that she robbed Link of his life, and so offers to send him back in time to make up for it. If you're going to ruin a young man's life by molding him into a weapon champion, you'd best hope that you're smart enough to justify the cost.
Tumblr media
Although Ganondorf is a warlock-king who can singlehandedly bring a nation to its knees, he craves yet more power. Why? Because, in spite of the fact that he can raise monsters from the dead and inflict terrible enough curses to ail demigods, he's powerless to change his lot in life, as the destined child of a hated people in a barren land. Of course he envies the easy lives of Hyrule, the privilege they take for granted--up to and including the power to rewrite reality itself with the Triforce. His strength of arms, his magical prowess--they mean nothing if he can’t affect real change. But he has wisdom and courage aplenty. A fragile mind and weak spirit cannot hope to master the dark arts. It takes brains to identify the weaknesses of everyone around you, and to use sorcery to its fullest extent, wisely crippling those who would stand in your path. And it takes guts to persevere in your vision, knowing that you'll make enemies with the whole world, including those who should love you the most. Neither a coward nor a fool can ingratiate themselves to an enemy monarch long enough to spring a deadly trap, succeed in a coup, then maintain power for 7 years with dissidents on all sides, biding his time until all the pieces fall into place and he can finally reassemble the Triforce--the ultimate power--and realize his ambitions, in a reign that is only undone by time travel.
Tumblr media
And then there's Link. Honestly, what would a sheltered boy from the woods know of power? How could he crave something so meaningless to him, so foreign? He's the boy without a fairy, the black sheep of his village, bullied and picked on. Then, one day, he's summoned before the Great Deku Tree, the guardian spirit and very embodiment of the forest Link calls home, to learn that it's dying--and moreover, that this is no natural process. Something or someone did this to the Deku Tree, and now it's up to him to confront this force that can fell a god. His standards of power mean nothing to this threat. And would you say it's wise to leave behind the only world you've known on a quest of utmost importance; traveling to strange and dangerous lands, fighting monsters and braving ancient temples with booby traps, following the heed of vague authority figures and trusting they know what's best? Maybe not. But it needs doing. Regardless of what he is feeling, he has to carry on. He has to stick with the plan and keep punching up, tangling with monsters of legend; he must continue vexing a sorcerer king for whom nothing is sacred, who will cross any line to get what he wants. And that, my friends, demands courage like nothing else.
one tiny lore detail that I really appreciate in Ocarina of Time is how the Triforce bearers were not chosen based on what they represent the most, but what they most believe in. I think it really tracks much better than if we base it on who they are as people. Of course Zelda would yearn for the Wisdom to protect her kingdom from her own really unfortunate ten-year-old bad plan who backfired horribly, and have the knowledge to never let anything like this ever happen again. Of course Ganon would believe in the value of Power the most --regardless of our reading on the character, he was forced to yield to someone mightier than he was, and even as a trick that was probably unbearable to him. And of course Link would believe in the virtue of Courage above all else, as it is basically all he can rely on and what he needs the most to face the challenges ahead. That's just a really smart way to contextualize it all, and removes an arbitrary aspect of essentialism that doesn't 100% match them otherwise in my opinion, and makes them more active characters.

Calling female characters "mary sues", as at least what I noticed for last eight years, stems from expecting women to not being "overwhelming". Sansa in a way IS overwhelming. She's pretty, naive, girly high born girl, that is destined to became a queen. "Good" girl character should be barred at least one of these things OR condemned for one of them (being naive/pretty/girly). If not, she's escaping expectations and by patriarchal world she is perceived as some form of unnatural being. (1/2)
(2/2) I remember when two years ago I found a site with listed heroines that's mary sues and WHY are they. And Katniss (Hunger Games) was listed as such, 'cause: despite being hunter she looked good in dress; acted bravely despite young age AND cared for her family since she was eleven. Yes, that was points made. I'm not surprised that someone could think of Sansa as MS, if indicator of being unprobable (as a female character) is being well-rounded character. Stay safe
Hi there!
Katniss Everdeen? Katniss Everdeen? The woman who was so unlikable that she needed Peeta to promote her, Cinna to make her beautiful and Haymitch to coach her. The woman whose courage was also her weakness. Wow, just wow.
It's almost as if it is too much if a woman has more than one good characteristic, ability whatever....
Or maybe women with more than one characteristic at all are Mary Sues.
And this is probably from the same people who think that Ary@ being a badass fighter at the tender age of eleven is completely believable (please note that GRRM goes to great pains to make Ary@'s killing somewhat believable. Unlike in the show, book Ary@ first has to manipulate the people she wants to kill until she actually is able to do so.
Tumblr media
Well, people should look up words at wikipedia once in a while. Mary Sues are characters who are portrayed as unrealistically free of weaknesses.
According to Sansa antis Sansa has all kind of bad characteristics and weaknesses, and her beauty is only something superficial anyway, something she will lose anyway.
So, they should decide : Either Sansa is a Mary Sue and then she is the bestest of best and nothing will stop her from becoming Queen or she has some good characteristics and some bad and then she is not a Mary Sue.
You can't have it both. Lol.
Thanks for the ask!
I now have learned that Mary Sue = female main character. People really should check their (internalized) misogyny.

DAY 4820
Jalsa, Mumbai                May 9/10,  2021                Sun/Mon 12:24 AM
When young suffer .. when the child suffers .. when the haunt of its bearing clouds the mind with nothing but that .. when time and again the repeat of its presence in some permanence in your life propels you to understand the environ is daunting and without consider .. then gripped in remorse and sadness you drop all else and sit with nothingness ..
One can move mountains in belief and the weight of endless adversity, but if the insides are drenched in the assess that the paths are damaged and worn .. played out in the drama of a fine performance that seeks attention when attention is not the real cause .. then you sit up .. take stock .. work out the for and the against and come to conclude that the eventual set , should be to remove the cancerous pain , bear it for a while but live in the relief that it shall not be there in permanence once removed ..
The ability to , despite unfavourable nature , shall ever be the halting block .. but the drama and the performance can ever be seen through, especially when you are surrounded by individuals similar in the despite ..
Your complacency could be renowned .. as may be your penchant for harmony .. but for whom .. your own demeanour shall never be the object .. the other works arduously to be in the attention ..
Point is .. they seek away from theirs .. we know the seek .. we see the transparent glass that you present each episode .. that glass gives it all away .. it is now no longer the gambit .. it is the humour of farce in the comedy of the bards errors ..
Best then to ‘away away bright lite ..’
Give me room and space to breathe in my birth environ .. that is reason for departure from the fire tests to the charm of warmth ..
I speak in parables .. may be .. but there is a reality to the mind if nothing else .. a reality that brings and weighs you down .. puts the mountain over the head and drowns you with its booming energy of volume suppressing the tone of the need to air it ..
Air it then .. and end it ..
WORK on the conditions about, relentlessly continues .. campaigns for relief and the give .. at forums that cover the seas beyond .. one such the VaX Concert with dignitaries of the celebrity brand and more resolve to join the fight .. and WIN ..
The one immediately below 👇🏿 , be one such  ..
vimeo
BUT more at home , the presence of the progeny develops into endeavours that stun you with their thinking and thought .. and our little Navya Naveli .. not so little anymore, speaks about the venture she has begun on her own, with her own and determined to build the initiative she believes in .. here be the link .. for one so young and mature in thought and word was truly a moment of great pride as a Nana as grand parents .. 👇🏿
Link for Navya Spotify Link : https://open.spotify.com/episode/4DnVZj9kRFjrwm71r5ZVc9?si=0x5egAuDQWmXd1qYH2fkvA
... and there is more .. for some are disturbed in the Ef fraternity of the brevity in the Blog and wonder if the mind is disturbed , ill , concerned , indisposed ..
No it is not ..
The hesitancy comes from whether to SPEAK or not ..
But whether I show concern over it or not I find that surreptitiously some of them that are the privileged in the World of writing and inform, have through means sourced the matter that was kept under the hatter .. and now as with all matter within these modern times, nothing remains buried in silence .. it rises and volumes the announce elsewhere ..
SO .. my Nana, my grandfather , my Mothers Father Sardar Khazan Singh Suri the affluent Bar at Law in pre partition Punjab, was married to Amar Kaur Sodhi, my Naani , my Mother’s mother .. and gave birth to my Mother Teji Kaur Suri ..
The Sodhi’s are considered the descendents of the Guru’s of the Sikh religion .. the location of the birth of the religion being AnandPur Sahib, the  Gurudwara now in India Punjab and a most revered temple of the Sikhs ..
The readings of the autobiography of my Father, detailing the history of his In Laws educated me .. I never had courage or the need to ask this of my Father or my Mother .. but having known ,it came to me that there has been no remembrance of Nana and Naani through the years .. so a remembrance needed to be done ..
CovID occurred and in the months and time that has passed from the ‘20 to the ‘21 and one witnessed the hardships of those that suffered ..
Yes I do charity , but have ever believed it to be done,  than spoken of .. it is embarrassing , in too great a self consciousness .. of one that has ever felt shy of public presence despite the profession - one that has to find its usp in public domains is relevant today for me ..
The pressure though .. the every day abuse and the filth of distasteful comment has never been of attention to me or to the family .. we have seen it from time immemorial .. happens .. some are ridden with the wisdom that it shall happen .. so all the efforts continued in the quiet .. no divulge to the information agencies .. no talk of it either .. only the receiver knew and that was the end ..
Over 1500 farmers’ bank loans paid off by my personal fund and prevented them from suicide , as the suicides grew  .. from Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, UP et al .. calling them over after identifying with respective banks and getting them all to Janak and in the presence of the bank representatives, paying them in person and getting them to strike off the loan , giving each farmer the document that they did not owe any more , that their loan was over and completed and paid back to the bank .. some 300 odd from UP could not all be present .. a bogie in the train booked for a limited number of 30 to 50 of them , from their respective cities in UP, received them in Mumbai , put them in buses , given a drive of the city of Mumbai, brought over to Janak, fed and given the loan cancellation certificate and put back on the train to their homes .. all at my expense ..
The brave soldiers at the border of the Country who had been martyred , their lists sought and their families , young wives and their children, some wives pregnant and expectant , given succour ..
The martyr’s at Pulwama after the terrible terrorist attack , their families spread all over the land contacted and brought to Janak and given succour .. at the hands of Abhishek and Shweta  ..
Those that suffered during the CoViD last year .. providing food for over 400,000 - 4 lakh - daily wage earners in the country for a month .. feeding almost 5000 in the city each day lunch and dinner ..
Provided masks , PPE units to front line warriors, Police Hospitals in the thousands .. through personal funds .. donating to the Sikh Committee that was helping the migrants to travel back home in the Inter State busses , where the drivers were mostly Sikhs ..
When the migrants were walking back home, some without the benefit or affordability of shoes .. provided hundreds of chappals and shoes to them .. due to lack of travel facility, booked 30 buses to locations in UP and Bihar and supplied them food and water for the overnight travel ..
Booked an entire train from Mumbai to UP to carry 2800 migrant passengers free of cost at my expense .. and when the destination State blocked the train from coming into their State and cancelled the train .. immediately chartered 3 Indigo Airline planes and flew almost 180 migrants in each flight to UP and Bihar and some to Rajasthan and J&K .. free of cost ..
And as the virus spread, donated an entire Diagnostic Centre  .. opened at Bangla Sahib Gurudwara in Delhi through the Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee, set up in the premises of the Gurudwara for medical help for the poor and needy .. an MRI machine and other Sonographic and Scan equipments of expenses beyond my means, but set up inspite .. in the memory of my Nana , Naani and my Mother ..
A 250 to 450 bed care centre set up with further donation at the Rakabganj Sahib Gurudwara today in Delhi and soon to procure for them O2 ( Oxygen ) concentrators, not in stock or easily available , from overseas limited stock to be donated to Delhi where the need is immense and some to Mumbai .. coming in within the week .. 50 of them coming in from Poland by 15th and the rest around 150 from perhaps the US .. orders placed , some have arrived and given to the Hospital in need ..
Ventilators of immediate need to the BMC and to the Municipal Hospitals ordered .. around 20 of them , of course within my limited means , to be in, in a few days .. some 10 have arrived today and on custom release shall be delivered ..
A 25-50 bed Hospital care centre setting up at Juhu Army location at a School Hall , the Ritambhara School, with all facilities and should be up by the 12th of May .. donated funds to set up ..
3 very important detection machines donated to Nanavati Hospital , last week to help in the detection of CoviD ..
Feeding about a 1000 in the slums and poor sections of the city ..
Young children .. orphaned by the sudden death of the parents, left in oblivion .. have adopted 2  and shall be put in an orphanage in Hyderabad .. their study board and lodging free till they finish School .. from the 1st to the 10th .. and if they turn out bright to provide them with free upper education ..
.. and more , as and when the means are affordable ..
AGRANDISEMENT .. !! NO .. let it be emulated .. if each were to put in not the above but even a small drop of assistance, the severity of the situation would begin to ease ..
It is painful to see the misery around and the inability to be able to do something for them ..
BUT we shall fight and more than that ..  shall .. WIN !
So help me God .. !!

Hi there! I just found your account and I love you writing! I was wondering if you could do a bakugou x reader fantasy au? Where prince bakugou goes to a small village in his kingdom for a pit stop while on a quest but meets the reader who's a poor butcher's daughter that doesn't know who he is and doesn't really care either but really wants to go on a quest and begs him to let her travel with him in exchange for being a chef. Thank you so much!!💞💕💗 ⁽⁽ଘ( ˊᵕˋ )ଓ⁾⁾┌(★o☆)┘
ANNOYING — B. KATSUKI
AUTHOR'S NOTE: Sorry if this took a long time to be published! I went off tumblr for a while due to personal issues but now I'm back! Hope you like this!
REQUESTS ARE CLOSED (for now)
WARNINGS: Language LMAO but its Bakugo so what do we expect. Also this is not beta read!
WORD COUNT: 1955
Not everyday you have the privilage to meet the prince. The heir to the kingdom's throne. The second most respected man in the whole entire kingdom.
And not everyday you get to mistake him as a thief either.
Not that you care about his title, really. You believe that all men are created equal, regardless of their social standings, heirarchy and whatnot. Thus, you didn't really care about the prince and the royal family that much to ever know about them. Not even their faces, nor names.
So, it wasn't a surprise that it will cause you your possible demise.
You see, the day started nice. You went out to do some deliveries, met some nice people on the road who bought half of the meat your father had cut, and to top it all off the farmer was kind enough to give you extra rootcrops as a sign of gratitude to you and your father. It was a great day all in all. Until, the knights came.
Along with the explosive prince.
Murmurs began to start as you headed back to your father's stall in the market after a long day of delivery work. Even though you didn't mean to eavesdrop — it was kind of hard not to, considering how their volumes were — you caught the words: arrogant, self-centered, short-tempered. And later you found out those words described the prince.
"He must be a nincompoop then. To get such a reputation from the people in town, he must have done some... questionable things." You said to yourself. Too engrosed in your thoughts, you bumped into a red-headed knight. You bowed immediately while apologizing then excused yourself, you didn't really want to interact with knights today. All you wanted to do was cook a hearty meal for your stubborn father, read a book by the fireplace after a bath, and relax.
But all those plans seem to be quickly washed away when you saw an ash blond quietly steal from your father. You were gonna let it slide, thinking that maybe it was for a good cause.
That is until you realized, the man stole a prime cut.
As if a switch was flicked, you quickly ran towards the direction the man headed to. Spotting him from afar, you ran as fast as you can and knocked the man into the ground, shocking the people around you.
"Give it back." You sternly commanded the man. "Give back the meat you stole from my father."
The man scoffed at your 'accusations' and tried to wiggle his way free but your entire weight placed on top of his back made it hard to do so. "Let me fucking go. I have no idea what the actual fuck you are accusing me of."
"Oh shut it. I saw you with my own two eyes and I am very much sure that their vision is not impaired yet." His futile attempts at escaping now stopped as he tilted his head to see the scoundrel who had the audacity to knock him down and embarrass him infront of townspeople.
Of course it had to be a girl.
"Are you one of my admirers to go such lengths as accusing me of stealing from a commoner?" That comment made your eye twitch because first, you are certainly not an admirer of this prick. Two, you don't even know the guy! Three, who would admire this piece of work? And lastly, your father might be a 'commoner' but he's the best 'commoner' you could ever find! There wouldn't be a slab of ribs or a fine piece of steak on your plates if it weren't for him! And the way this asshole said 'commoner' with such distaste too! What a prick! Who the hell does he think he is?
"My prince!" The same red-headed knight you bumped into earlier shouted from afar. Your eyes widened for a second before turning back to the asshole beneath you who now has a smug grin on his face.
"Miss! Are you alright?" The knight asked while helping you get up. "Did the prince cause you any disturbances? Any problems?" It was your turn to plaster on a smug grin on your face. You saw his own falter which you made you more smug than before.
"Why yes actually, the prince caused me a slight inconvenience." The red-head sighed, taking a quick glance at the prince beside him — who couldn't stand due to pain. "The prince stole a priceless little thing from my father's stall earlier and I'd like for him to return it or better yet, pay for it." The prince was about to retort but the red-head beat him to it.
"I deeply apologize for the prince's action, miss. If it would make you happy and satisfied, I will pay for the items he stole. I will also ask for forgiveness on his behalf." Angry noises came from the prince's (beast) mouth as the red-headed knight did exactly what he told making you raise an eyebrow.
"Why are you doing it for him? Can't he do it himself?" It was amazing to see a knight easily convinced to do something a mere 'commoner' like you demanded, but you concluded that this red-headed fellow wasn't an ordinary knight. He seemed like the type that's fed up with the prince's antics, thus his demeanor towards people is filled with empathy and the usual knightly courage. But your words made him halt, and look at you as if you were from some otherworldly land.
You caught the knight mutter about something manly before the prince interrupted. "Hah?! I'm not gonna apologize to someone lower than me! You extra!" The knight sweat-dropped at the prince's words while you looked at him blankly. Wow, the rumors are true, he is an asshole.
"Well, Your Highness, this extra happened to be the one who cared for the rib who used to be a part of the cow that you stole just now. So, apologize and pay up. I don't care if you're the prince or not. Thievery is a crime, and you just committed it." The crowd begin to whisper, making the prince's eye twitch.
"Fine, you annoying extra! Give her whatever the fuck she wants!" And with that the prince stormed off. Leaving you and the red-haired knight behind. The crowd began to disperse, seeing as the scene just concluded and that the man of the hour was gone.
The knight turned to you once again and bowed. "I'm deeply sorry for my prince's actions. As he caused such an inconvenience and refuses to be accountable for his actions, I shall ensure to provide whatever compensation you need or want — within reason of course." Before you can respond, he introduces himself with a grin. "Ah! How silly of me! Chivalric knight, Kirishima Eijirou at your service."
"I appreciate your efforts, Sir Kirishima, but I just need the payment for the stolen goods." You replied with a smile, but soon your smile faltered. You had wanted to be a chef for so long and travel unknown lands to discover cuisine and cooking techniques you've never heard of before. Perhaps... is this the right time to do it?
You bit your lip as you contemplated. Should you grab this opportunity and run with it?
Seeing your hesitancy, Kirishima waited for your answer. "Actually... I have a request... I was wondering if it's possible?"
"I'm all ears, Miss."
...
"What is this extra doing here?!" Prince Bakugo exclaimed as he saw your annoying little face within his traveling party. Kirishima sighed as he explained the situation. You would join his party as a chef until you reach the capital where you will be training to be a chef under the great Lunch Rush. Bakugo was about to object when Kirishima shot him a look.
"Fine. But I'm not eating garbage cooked by a commoner!" You rolled your eyes at his demeanor. Are all royals like this?
As if reading your mind, Kirishima responds. "Don't worry. King Masaru and Queen Mitsuki are quite modest and kind."
"Then what happened to him?" You pointed to Bakugo.
"I heard that, you extra!" Fowl language followed that statement making the traveling party sigh. Oh boy, this is gonna be a painful journey.
After that, you said your goodbyes to your father, who was very emotional about the turn of events. "Be good and be brave, my sweet child. And ask for forgiveness from His Highness." Your brows were scrunched in confusion.
"Why must I do that? He was clearly in the wrong!"
"Ah... that slab of meat was a present from me to him. He once helped me round up the cows when his traveling party went by our house yesterday. The slab of priceless meat was a token of appreciation for his kind gesture. So, do apologize for your actions, ok?" The information you just heard astounded you, making you speechless. Guilt pooled in your stomach as you promised your father that you will apologize to the prince. And with a final promise of coming home as a renowned chef, you parted ways.
The journey started rough. The prince refused to eat anything you made at all. His stubbornness knows no bounds and his overall demeanor towards you was not pleasant, which you understood as the scene you caused was a total misunderstanding on your part. The only upside was the traveling party greatly enjoyed your meals, and some even gave you recipes from different places and suggestions of destinations that you'll surely enjoy to explore! Overall, it went smoothly.
That is, until the prince became sick.
The doctors in your traveling party asked you to concoct different meals suited to His Highness, You had to stop at a village in order to ensure Prince Bakugo's speedy recovery. And one day, you were assigned to deliver his meals to him personally.
"Prince Bakugo?" You knocked on the door, and as expected, not a response came from the prince. You sighed and slowly opened the door, cautiously stepping in so you won't wake Bakugo up or spill the contents of the bowl you held.
"Go away, you extra." He grumbled, but his rough voice was replaced with a weak ome due to his illness.
"Look, I know you won't eat my meals but you need to eat. You can't recover from this if your body doesn't have the nutrients it needs to fight back this illness." You huffed. "And... besides, consider this as my way of making up to you."
"What the heck are you talking about?"
"My father told me about it. I'm sorry for mistaking you for a thief. I tried to apologize to you on several occasions but you angrily push me away every time I do. So, I figured this might be the right timing since you know... you aren't your usual aggressive self." You scratched your nape in embarrassment. "Besides, if there's something I learned while traveling with you is that you're a big softie inside. You might act rough and is shard on the edges, you're actually kind-hearted and caring. Uh... anyways. Please make sure to eat your meal, Prince Bakugo."
Before you can exit the room, you heard him say, "Annoying extra." But the usual hostility behind those words wasn't there. You might just be assuming it or imagining it, but those words almost sounded... fond.
With a shake of your head, you left the room.
Later that day, you found the bowl to be empty and outside of his room. Along with it was a note that read, "Don't fucking tell me what to do, you annoying extra."

It was tiring, really. He needed to find a wife, he knew it, but it was like there wasn't anyone he was interested in. He was getting tired of it, actually. He felt lonely and thought that maybe he'd never find someone, that he was destined to be alone.
His friends always tried to help him, and they'd always have fun with it, but he just didn't want to try anymore. It's totally useless, he always thought. No matter how many times my friends and even myself try, there's no one for me.
They always tried to find someone at parties or royal dances, scanning the place in search of someone that would be interested in Zuko and that he'd also be interested in.
"Guys, I already told you, stop trying," said the Fire Lord to his friends, noticing that they were scanning the crowd. There were some guests from the Earth Kingdom in the Fire Nation, so there was a small party to celebrate them and their visit.
"Come on, Zuko, you can't give up that easily!" Aang told him while giving him a warm smile.
"That easily? Nothing about this has been easy!" He said in a whisper in an attempt to be more discreet.
He tried to calm himself down a little and pretended to be enjoying the party. He wasn't even trying to pay attention to those who were there, but then his eyes caught someone he'd never seen before.
Zuko sighed a little because he was literally mesmerized by the sight of the young woman. He saw her talking to one of his generals, and he assumed she was his daughter.
"Hey, are you there? Zuko!" Katara half-yelled in order to catch his attention.
"I'm sorry, what? I was a bit distracted," he admitted, blushing a little.
"Yeah, we could tell," commented Toph. "Why is your heart beating so fast, by the way?" The rest of the group immediately looked at him once the girl mentioned that, clearly waiting for answers.
The young Fire Lord blushed even more and started touching his neck due to the nerves. He kept glancing at the beautiful girl from time to time and his friends noticed that.
"What are you looking at?" Asked Sokka.
"Yeah, you seem to be really interested on whatever's going on there," mentioned the Water Tribe girl, trying to see what he kept looking at. "Spirits, are you doing what I think you're doing?" She questioned him with excitement in her voice.
"I don't know what you're trying to say, Katara," he replied, rolling his eyes a little bit.
"Are you by any chance looking at that girl over there?" She opened her eyes, filled with hope and joy.
"I, uh, well, I mean-."
"He is!" Exclaimed Toph, feeling how the boy's heart spoke for him.
"How do you even know that?"
"Again, your heartbeat, dummy."
"Oh, Zuko, this is great! Now we just have to go and talk to her, and-."
"What? No way, Aang. She probably doesn't like me," he mumbled.
"Well, you'll never know if you don't try," said Katara, and before Zuko could stop her, she was already walking towards the girl.
Zuko wanted to disappear from there, he wanted to tell Toph to open a whole in the ground just so he could hide in there forever, but he was speechless.
"Hey, how are you doing?" Said Katara to the young woman, giving her a soft smile.
"Oh, hi. I'm fine, a little bored since I don't know anyone here apart from my father, but that's okay," she said. "I don't know why I told you that, we don't even know each other," she commented.
"It's okay, I understand, these parties can be quite boring sometimes. I'm Katara, would you like to join me and my friends?"
"I- Yeah, sure. I'm (Y/N), nice to meet you, Katara," she said, not really believing that she was talking to the actual Katara, and that she was inviting her to be with her friends, the ones who bravely saved the world a few years ago.
The waterbender grabbed her slightly by the arm, making some small talk as they approached the rest of the group. "Hey, everyone, this is (Y/N). (Y/N), this is everyone."
(Y/N) waved at them, and when she saw Zuko, she realized who he actually was and bowed slightly.
"I-It's okay, you don't need to do that," he said and she apologized. He gave her a warm smile and she did the same in return.
They spent all night talking together, and everyone was very excited because (Y/N) and Zuko were actually bonding. Once the party was over, he decided to build his courage and ask her out on a date. The girl was completely surprised, but she quickly said yes. Once the date was arranged, she said goodbye to everyone, feeling excited for it.
It all went great, and it wasn't long until the two of them started dating. They loved spending time together, and Zuko felt like he was the luckiest person in the world, and so did (Y/N). They both knew that they were still young, but deep inside they also knew that they were meant for eachother. And they were right, because they ended up getting married. Life hadn't been easy for neither of them, the war took too much from them and ended up hurting both of them in different ways, but they were happy to have found each other and be able to spend their days together.

mha boys realizing they’re in love pt.1
w/ deku, bakugo
tw⚠️ insecurities!, self doubt!
deku 🥦
izuku knew he loved you since you guys started dating.
he had liked you for a long time, and when you finally got together in your last year of UA, he couldn’t have been happier.
he planned on living the rest of his life with you. and would go through any feats to make it possible.
so when you started to feel doubts about your relationship? that was a wake up call for him.
you had just finished training, all sweaty and tired, walking back to your dorm with a towel around your neck.
you scrolled through your phone mindlessly, and just happened to come across a twitter post about your boyfriend, deku, who had just taken down one of the villains that’s been on the run for months.
you smiled. you were so proud of him. already achieving his dream in becoming one of the greatest heroes. and getting the recognition he finally deserved.
you made it your your dorm, slumping on your bed as you read some of the comments.
woah this guy is still attending UA!? he’ll be a great hero for sure
there’s no one like him!
deku strikes again! what a stud😍
you laughed at some, grimaced at others that claimed the mission was too easy for him. but one particular comment had you freezing in your spot.
is he single? i won’t hesitate to run to the scene and give him my hand in marriage right now!
you knew it was a fun, lighthearted comment. but you clicked the the commenters page and instantly noticed how beautiful as preppy she was.
she was also a big deku fan...probably had more merch than you.
you sighed and threw your phone across the bed.
for the past few weeks, you had been thinking about how different you and izuku were in terms of success.
you were both in your last year of high school, and he had already done so much.
worked on so many cases with pro heroes and went through successful missions all the time. he was destined to become the greatest hero.
and you?
well, you’ve never even caught a villain.
sure you’ve helped out on low grade missions for the hero you interned under, but you had never been publicly praised like izuku. you never stood out.
you had trouble believing you’d become a hero at all.
you always wondered, wouldn’t izuku be better off with someone that could keep up with him? who wouldn’t hold him back. someone who he wouldn’t leave in the dust when he excelled in the future.
he deserved someone better.
your thoughts were cut off when your dorm door brushed open, revealing no other than the man himself.
izuku walked into your room with worried eyes and seemed out of breath.
“y/n? ive texted and called a bunch of times. why haven’t you answered?” he asked, and you subtly turned to your phone that you discarded on the other half of the bed.
“my ringer was off. sorry izu.” you tired to give him a smile as he sat next to you on your bed. “i saw an article about your mission today. you were amazing!” you complimented.
“ahh you give me too much credit. i couldn’t have dont anything with the pro heroes and other people helping.”
“still, you’re a great hero. i wish i was like that.” you chuckle dryly, past insecurities already pushing forward again.
“what!? you’re a great hero y/n!” izuku exclaimed.
“i’ve barely done anything izuku. i don’t know how you put up with me. i should be able to help you on your missions, but i’m stuck in the same position i have been in. i don’t know when i’ll improve.”
you didn’t mean to sound so pathetic, but you had been feeling this way for so long. it was all just spilling out now.
and izuku? he literally stopped breathing when he heard what you were saying about yourself. “you deserve someone that will be able to keep up with you. what will people think when they find out the amazing deku is dating a weak, incapable, good for nothing-”
“don’t say one more word y/n.” izuku cuts you off, and you look up to meet his eyes piercing yours.
they were dark, nothing like their usual gleaming glow that shined when he looked at you.
there was no sign of amusement on any of his features. just dead seriousness
“what the hell are you talking about y/n?” he asks, but doesn’t give you a chance to respond. “you’re one of the most courageous, brave, intelligent, capable people i know! where is all of this coming from?”
“i’ve been thinking about it for a while. it’s just you’re so...amazing and i’m so...” you knew anything you could have said after that would make him even more angry. it was nothing positive.
god he probably hated you for being so insecure.
“you’re you, y/n.” izuku says softly. “you’re you and you’re who i love. i don’t care about what i do, what you do, who says what! i love you for you!”
izuku looks at you with so much love and compassion. you stared into his eyes, wondering what was gong on in his head.
well? at the moment he despised himself for letting you feel this way.
you were his whole world! the person who supported you in everything he did and he would support you in the same way! he couldn’t understand why you were feeling this way when he was literally...in love with you.
he loved you yeah of course, but hearing the way you were speaking about yourself, and how you had doubts about your relationship made his heart physically hurt. he was absolutely and unconditionally in love with you and wouldn’t be able to see himself with anyone else.
and he needed you to hear it.
“y/n you’re my everything! i’m so in love with you, no amount of fame or recognition could make me even think about leaving you!” izuku said urgently, and he finally calmed down when he saw a slight smile reach your lips.
a real one this time.
the conversation continued, and izuku promised to let you learn and remember how in love he was with you until it was the last thing he’d do.
bakugo 💥
bakugo would never pursue anyone unless he definitely knew he loved them.
so of course he never asked you out when he couldn’t differentiate if what he felt for you was love, or if it was a stupid little crush.
he didn’t like thinking about his feelings, especially the irrelevant ones.
he was trying to become the number one hero. who needed time for love anyways?
so he ignored his “feelings” for you, not allowing them to confuse him any longer.
it wasn’t until a few months into his third year when bakugo got the worst news of his life.
you were on a mission. an important one that had you absent from school for weeks.
bakugo was worried.
he’d text you every few days, asking what was going on and how things were and you’d always respond with “it’s fine.” or “we’re hanging in there.”
he assumed it was a pretty difficult mission, but nothing you couldn’t handle.
you were strong
so when he heard from a certain icy-hot that you were in the hospital in critical condition after completing the mission, he forgot about everything and ran straight to you.
ignoring aizawa’s calls, he almost blasted himself out of UA and checked every hospital for you, considering he didn’t even ask todoroki which one you were in before he left.
when he finally reached the hospital holding you, he sprinted to your room.
he found you hooked up to a bunch of wires and tests.
you looked peaceful, sleeping while the heart monitor beeped beside you.
but you looked horrible. bloody bandages covered almost every limb, and your body was covered in bruises.
bakugo’s heart dropped to his stomach. he couldn’t stand seeing you like this.
why does his feelings have to be 100x more noticeable when your tragically hurt!?
he sat down on the empty chair beside the hospital bed, wondering why no one else was visiting at this time.
he stared at you, something he couldn’t get off of his mind lately.
“why do you make me feel things, dumbass?” he asked, waiting for a response. “i never skip class! you just had to get hurt and make me skip the test review.” he rolled his eyes, but his face softened as he looked at you, still sleeping.
“i’ll help you study. you’ll probably fail without going over what we learned.”
.....
“would you wake up, you shitty woman!” he yelled, gripping the side of your bed “this is scary, you know?”
.....
“i should’ve called you today, i just assumed you’d be too busy to talk. if you told me you were in trouble, i’d blast my ass to wherever you were in a heartbeat.” bakugo said, feeling his actual heart skip a beat when you still didn’t respond.
“please wake up...”
after about an hour of waiting, your other classmates came in, checking on your condition.
you still hadn’t woken up, but your vitals were better and your breath were more steady.
by the time night fell, everyone left; except for bakugo
he was just starting to fall asleep when he felt she. he heard you stir in the hospital bed.
his head shot up, quickly turning to face you as he saw you blinking you eyes slowly.
“y/n!” he yelled a little louder than anticipated, making you shoot awake and look at him.
you blinked a few more times before realizing who you were looking at. “katsuki!?” you asked, trying to sit up, but feeling a sharp pain in your side.
“hey! don’t move dumbass. are you okay? do you remember anything?” he frantically asked.
“umm...i’m fine?” you said, sounding like you were trying to convince yourself. “why are you here?”
“why am i here? you were admitted into the hospital in critical condition!”
“i-i’m sorry, everything’s a bit fuzzy right now.” you say softly, putting a hand on your forehead and tryin got remember everything.
bakugo softened, and waited until you got yourself together. “how long have you been here?” you ask
“since this morning.”
“this morning!? katsuki what about school? do your parents even know you’re here?”
“why the hell are you worried about me? you’re the one hooked up to all these machines and can barely move!” bakugo yelled, trying to understand why you were so focused on him being there with you.
“i just never thought you’d be the one to go out of your way to check on someone. let alone be here the whole day...” you whispered, suddenly feeling shy at the idea of bakugo keeping your sleeping body company for hours.
bakugo froze at your words.
he really wasn’t the type to go check on people for more than a few minutes. especially not one to skip school because of it.
maybe he did this because he felt a little more than what he thought he did.
maybe this wasn’t a stupid little crush? maybe it was something serious that he had just been blowing off.
when he heard about your condition, he just couldn’t stand by. there must have been something that pushed him to run to you.
“it’s cause u care about you...idiot. i wasn’t gonna a let you suffer here alone.” he huffs, crossing his arms.
“katsukiii do you like me or something?” you asked in a teasing tone
he couldn’t believe you were making jokes at a time like this. furthermore, he couldn’t believe how easy it was for you to see through his facade.
“i do.” he states. there was no point in lying.
“i was just kidding kats-“
“i’m not.” he cuts you off. “i care about you, and i like you. a lot. so...you better like be bad damn it. or i’ll blow you to bits!”
you chuckled and smiled tenderly at him. you definitely weren’t expecting him to say that, but you weren’t complaining.
“i like you too...i guess.” you smile, and katsuki tsked before smirking at you.
he finally felt like he could breath again, and that everything was going to be fine now.
except...katsuki didn’t like you. he loved you. but no way would he tell you that
this absolutely sucks i can’t believe i’m posting this. if you can, plz give me some requests so i don’t make trash hcs like this again. they’ll be a pt.2 later. hopefully it isn’t as bad as this one.
click here to send a request. i’d really appreciate it!
