i'm currently replaying da3 and trespasser to prepare for da4 and i am amazed at how well the game is holding up, given that it's a decade old at this point.
(do you feel old yet? i do.)
i've arrived at one of the first big quests and i'm just struck by how good both champions of the just and in hushed whispers are both as quests in their entirety: atmospheric, amazing writing, the interaction between the party you picked feel organic and they react to what happens believably, the soundtrack only adds to everything.
the envy demon being completely obsessed with the inquisitor, speaking to them but only they can hear (the voice acting on "i will know you" and "at last" will always give me goosebumps), and then (unknowingly) confronting it and they pull the inquisitor in and the inquisitor wakes up to this?
10/10 \o/
